In this version of a classic episode of The Twilight Zone, Spike tries to win Rarity's love by the use of a magic love potion. Spike gets his wish, but sooner he realizes that he got more than what he bargained for. This is set in the human universe.

Deep in the Everfree forest, there's a swamp. And to make things stranger, a pony resides in that swamp. A pony by the name of Smokestack Lightning. Smokestack lives by himself far out of the public eye. He only has himself and his clunky old guitar. He's never had a single friend, that is until a certain young dragon finds him.

By some sort of misunderstanding, Spike is now being treated as a god upon the citizens of Ponyville.
