This story is a sequel to Fluff and Kidnapping

It's been about three weeks since Rarity's birthday party, and Sunset's three favorite fellow former villainesses are no closer to making any lasting friendships than before. In fact, she doesn't even know if they're still able to tolerate each other by now. Not wanting to risk their group falling apart along with what little progress they've made in being nicer, happier people, Sunset makes a deal, one that requires her to join them in liberating some money from a bank vault.

They're going in loud.

Queen Chrysalis is the master of a cunning hive. What they lack in strength, they make up for in number, what they lack in raw power, they make up for in skill. What they lack in individual smarts... Well, Chrysalis tells them what to do anyway.

The swarm is a good army, for all but one member. The queen decides to have a talk with that one.

The incident with the Sirens has reached the ears of Canterlot's most (in)famous bachelor prince, along with the existence of the portal leading to somepony he thought had vanished into thin air. Time to pay a visit.

Meanwhile, Sunset Shimmer settles into her new situation as CHS.

This is true for some ponies more than others, especially when fondness for one outside their circle may go a little beyond enjoying a common mare's music, or giving a royal listener the occasional friendly glance.

Three 'harmless teenage girls' are about to be three very harmful adult... Ponies? No matter, with the right hapless stooge in their power, they'll sow enough discontent to fill all of Equestria with negative energy, and maybe even get their magic back.

And then, 'Princess' Twilight Sparkle will see who gets the last laugh!

Roughly a week after Tirek is vanquished, five ponies responsible for it get an urgent message from the sixth. They have a new menace to contend with.

Meanwhile, Trixie is summoned to the Crystal Empire. Hilarity ensues.

She's worked for complete idiots, she's worked for complete jerks, she's worked for stuffy tight-wads, but her newest boss is something else.

The trick is figuring out what that something is.

Quiet mornings before school starts can be lonely, but peaceful. For some people, they're a good time to just breathe and prepare themselves for the day ahead. Fluttershy and Adagio Dazzle find themselves doing this in the same place at the same time, in their own ways.
