...and I won't have the next chapter up for a while yet. I've has an idea come along that I am trying to wedge into the chapter but I need to figure out the logistics regarding how it meshes with the rest of the story in the long term. If I commit to this and it doesn't work, it's going to suck. And since I don't want my story to suck, I need to work on it a bit longer. The results will speak for themselves. Sorry but you're just going to have to trust me on this.

Sorry for the lack of updates on how the story's coming along. With days growing shorter and my seasonal affective disorder kicking in, I'll be hermiting myself away at home after work during the autumn months and getting more writing done.

I have a story to tell about my experience at Everfree Northwest but it will have to wait unit this weekend. I'm pretty beat. One quick message I'll leave is that I am eager to get back to writing.

I'm going to the con. I'm very nervoucited (sorry if I spelled that incorrectly). Anypony who's going and wants to hang for a while, please let me know. Maybe we can get in a game of Splendor, Forbidden Island, or Forbidden Desert in the Tabletop Gaming room. I'd be happy to teach you the rules if you don't know how to play.

I'll be attending Ponycon NYC next week. I'll be pleased to see all of the neat guests but I'll be happiest to see Shannon Chan-Kent (voice of Silver Spoon), Ashleigh Ball (shame on you if you don't know who she is), and, of course, the mother of FiM herself, Lauren Faust! I was thinking of bringing my copy of The Art Of Equestria for her to sign.

If anybody else is planning on going, shoot me a reply. Maybe we can hang for a while. :)

The newest chapter (titled Monstrosity) will be posted some time between next week and Christmas. I have been given 72 hours away from the daily grind to work on editing this bad girl and I intend to use them. Hope your holiday is a pleasant one.
