Cold Star is a Crusader: a Bat Pony sworn to defend the Sacred Night. Adopting a disguise to hide her forbidden ancestry, she came to Manehattan with a single purpose - to bring justice to those who would do evil under the cover of darkness. The last thing she expected to discover was a group of cape-wearing young ponies also claiming to be Crusaders...

Babs Seed, Misty Morning and Summer Squall are the Cutie Mark Crusaders Manehattan Branch, and they are working hard to discover their hidden talents and earn their Cutie Marks. But when they meet a mysterious Bat-Mare, she offers them a chance to learn what being a Crusader really means. Will this be their chance to earn Cutie Marks in crime-fighting?

The Crusaders - A Shadow Over Manehattan

Columbine is an ordinary pegasus with an unusual problem - she can't sleep. She has been plagued with nightmares that she can't seem to escape of dark, shadowy beings wandering her house while her family is asleep. Desperate for a good night's sleep, she begins keeping a dream journal. What it reveals is less about dreaming and more about the very real problems that may be causing her nightmares in the first place.

A slice-of-life story about what happens when a villain's plans go awry, featuring Queen Chrysalis and her Changeling Hive. (Written for Equestria Daily's 5th Flash Fiction Event.)

Author's Note: For those who find the feeding of Chagelings to be a bit too grim, simply imagine that it involves the pony "victims" being snuggled by several cute little Changelings at once. If Flufflepuff has taught us anything, it's that Changeling feeding habits don't HAVE to be all grimdark. (Even though they kind of are.)
