Well I've finally decided to put SaL on haitus. As I said in another blog post college is really kicking me in the nuts right now and I just don't have the motivation and time to write very often and when I do, I'm spending it on another large collab I'm working on with a friend. I'll post details later about it, and SaL shouldn't be on haitus for that long but I also need to work on building a backlog of chapters for SaL. Yeah I know. I'm late in updating yet AGAIN. My college workload is kind of kicking me in the balls (hard) right now and I'm almost certain I'm going to fail two classes to that's putting a bit of a dampener on my mood, especially since if I fail a course I lose most of my scholarships which means I'm out a ridiculous amount of money. I can probably squeeze an update out sometime this week or weekend but it might be a tad smaller than they usually are.

After a slightly heated discussion in a collab skype group I'm in it got me thinking, what do you guys prefer? Five or three act stories?

I've been updating pretty slowly recently and I feel that you all deserve an explanation. My college workload over the past couple weeks has been pretty horrid and I haven't really found time to pony. Let me explain a bit first. I'm doing an RP with six other people in where what we do in the RP will be later written into a story that we are going to be posting on fimfiction. I just finished an 18 hour session. Most of the people weren't there for the majority of the time but there was me and this one other person that were there the entire time. I'm in college right now and I live on campus with 7 other guys. There were some.....shenanigans last night, ending up in a kiwi war between me and my roomate's. It was epic. I took over the bathroom as my stronghold with my other friend but now the dorm is messy and we have to clean it up so The next chapter will likely be released a day late. And for those of you that don't know what a kiwi is, here's a picture.

I'm going to be releasing chapter 7 later today. It is primarily a story of the past that Luna is telling Damon. Here's a small excerpt from it!

I have finally decided how long I'm going to make Shadows and Lies. It's going to be book one in a four part series with each book totaling somewhere between 350k and 600k words. I don't really have a name for it yet so if you can think of one pm me.

The next chapter of Shadows and Lies might be delayed slightly. My glasses recently broke and although I'm nearsighted I'm so nearsighted that I have to lean into my laptop to see what I'm typing. This naturally puts my chest slightly over my keyboard slowing my fingers.

So I've been thinking and I've decided to release a chapter for Shadows and Lies every week barring unforseen complications. This means that I'll probably release a chapter every weekend or Friday most likely.
