this will necessitate me taking wednesday morning off. And I wasn't gonna write tomorrow anyway, I usually just write before work and I'm off tomorrow.

So, my laptop is back from the repair center! Yaaay! Now, the good news is, prominence chapter 6 is already as long as the shortest of the other five chapters. the bad news is, I may end up making that whole day a multipart chapter because it's not even lunch time in that day yet and it's already as long as the some of the other chapters. Can anyone enlighten me as to why, when there's a story that hasn't been updated for a year, it will be labeled incomplete instead of just changing it to "on hiatus" or "cancelled?"

When I see a fic that's been silent for a year, and it's still just incomplete, I usually assume that it's a dead fic. But I shouldn't really have to, should I? People should be able to let everyone know by changing the status if a fic is dead, or if it's going to be picked up again later, right?

So, my sole computing device is a laptop I bought back in November. One of the joints is prying the casing apart every time I open or close the laptop, and the guard over the fan is all chipped away, but hey, none of that is a super big deal since it's still under warranty. But to get it fixed, I'd have to send it in for a week or two for repairs. Also it's nice to have an excuse to have them fix the blown out speaker instead of having to shift the balance every time I put on or take off

I just realized. Vinyl scratch is most commonly associated with Bass.

Octavia's cutie mark is the Treble clef.

Bass and Treble.

The obvious conclusion is that both were created by Dr. Wily to be a counter to Mega Man and Rush, and Octavia is able to combine with Vinyl Scratch, being Vinyl's support unit, making her stronger and purple.
