One thing is already clear to both yourself and the Guild: nature does not concentrate so much magic on one world and its moon just on its own.

In the world of the waking, Equis' Sun is as stable and luminous as it has been for the past several billion years. But for Luna in the realm of dreams, the Sun's evolution is accelerating at a runaway pace, with grim implications.

This story is not an accurate reflection our universe's astrophysics or stellar physics by any means.

The Tree of Harmony, a sophisticated magitech intelligence built long ago during the glory days of the Crystal Empire, has recently been awoken from her beauty sleep again by anomalous activity. Much to the surprise of her leaf-like sensory arrays, the disturbance turns out to be Princess Celestia, who's finally figured out how to converse with Harmony directly in hopes of learning more about her.

When the Princess strikes up a conversation, she soon discovers that one of Equestria's greatest defense mechanisms is actually a rather interesting individual, and she's not been alone in the cave for all these years.

What fun are superweapons without somebody behind the triggers to fire them?

Teen rating for some swearing, psychedelics/drugs, and weapons of mass destruction. When you insert the key, Mr. Warhead is not your friend, kiddies.

Forged in fires of magic and charcoal. Worn with pride, damaged in battle after battle in times when ponies were no strangers to war. Repaired again and again. A regal mare's suit of armour tells a small but significant part of her story.

This is quite the tough story to properly tag. Anyhow, despite the title, this story has no relation to the Halo universe. This is a tentative foray into a new form of narrative style on my part, so any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!
