"The world is full of Kings and Queens,
Who'll blind your eyes and steal your dreams,
It's Heaven and Hell!"

Rarity writes about her first ever visit to Manehattan, A bustling community and a glorious metropolis of generosity, and recants a story of struggle, hardship, woe, and torment.

No matter what Rarity chose to do in life, the time she spent in Manehattan changed her, and she writes her experiences in her friends' friendship journal to server as a warning: No matter what your intentions or goals are, you should never trust Manehattan.

Story inspired by EQD's "Rarity takes Manehattan" writing prompt, System of a Down's Lost in Hollywood, and the Heaven and Hell song of the same name.

Parts of Rarity's monologue sampled from the description of the city of Tarbean in The Name of the Wind

This is a fanfic collection of one shots and rewordings written by Rainb0w Dashie. The fanfics that end up in this collection are either stories that Dashie wasn’t pleased with, are unfinished, or were sampled from other works of fiction and reworded with ponies. The point of this collection is to not claim ownership of what has been written, but to serve as an example of Dahsie’s imagination and/or writing style and should still be enjoyed as if they were legitimate works of (fan)ficiton.

Chapters (5)

One lonely night, Twilight Sparkle begins to experiment with Astral Projection. Like the quick-learner she is, she picks it up rather quickly and soon begins to explore the vast Astral Realms around Equestria.

She visits her friends (who can't see her, of course), visits Celestia, and even goes int outer space. But she goes too close to the sun and burns off the golden umbilical cord attached to her solar plexus and gets lost in space; getting sucked into a wormhole and ending up back sometime in the pre-classical era amidst an epic pony war.

Now that Twilight is no longer attached to her body, she must find some way to escape the cruel clutches of war and find a way to get back home before her friends find her lifeless body.

Will she be able to get back in time? Or will her spirit be lost forever sometime in the pre-classical Era?

Honorable mentions:

Story inspired by Candlemass's A Sorcerer's Pledge, Mastodon's Crack the Skye, and DC's The Wizard.
