Just curious, does anyone here play Darktide? My group kinda dissolved and it's not as fun when playing solo anymore.

Nothing interesting this time, just two pictures that sparked my idea about hive drones in general. We haven't reached the chill Chrysalis stage yet, but who knows how things will be by book 12 or something. Anyway, the cover I made for They're Everywhere is based on pic 2, but no matter how I tried making pixelart with the right kind of feel for books 2 and 3, it kinda sucked so I stuck to Ponytown.

So, after two weeks in the hospital and almost a week of pain before that, I'm finally home. There's only one oozing hole left in my neck (over the normal amount), I'll be taking antibiotics for a while still, but unless everything suddenly explodes I'm back in business.

After 6 days, all the large tubes in my neck have today been replaced by small ones.
As a (holes I so fucking hope not premature) celebration, I'll be posting a full chapter 4 of They're Home in a moment.

In hospital. Nearly died on Monday from a stupid single wisdom tooth removal last Wednesday. Collected ALL complications. Not critical anymore supposedly, but it's healing suspiciously slowly . Recovering with 5 holes in the neck. Finally remembered my password to login via phone.

I've managed to write a decent chunk of They're home and it's just sitting in my google docs.

Anyone interested in pre-reading it and doing some literary criticism?

I would upload it in full chapter chunks here and leave it accessible through unpublished view password. Genuine interest only, mainly because just reading it early really won't give you anything.

Unlike in the previous chapters, I don't have much to say, really. I think chapter 4 was better, but not because of superior writing, rather due to focus on plot lines I personally found critical. I'm glad they decided to go with double agent Misty like I wrote in my opinion of Ch4. As for the writing itself, I think Ch 5 is the best so far, and by a LOT, mostly due to containing almost no unnecessary nonsense brought on by characters being dumb.
