30 years. 30 years since Sunset has been gone from Equestria. A simple error within the mirror portal prevented Sunset from going back and forth to Equestria at ease, now with the mirror portal fixed, how much has changed within Equestria?

Story will be set in an Equestria with 1950s-1960s technology. And inspired by the wonderful art drawn by Light262.

It has been 10 years since the turbulent times, a time where not only Equestria, but the whole world was engulfed in multiple major conflicts. It is warfare on an industrial scale, a time of total horror, a time of mass death, of mass production lines, of total war.

That time has now past, and Equestria is prospering like never before. Fueled by the technological advances of the war, Equestria has set itself up to become a prosperous nation where every citizen has a chance for a good life. For a single prominent pony though. This time of peace has allowed her to introspect, analyze, and contemplate how her life changed during this war. And it left her wanting.

Even in this time of peace, there are still unfinished business, shadows of the past haunt Tempest Shadow, and she must deal with it one way or another. Now to convince the Princesses about it...

Story is set in the Equestria at War universe. You don't have to necessarily play the mod in order to understand the story though.

Part of the Franceverse. You can read it without previous experience, but expect some confusing info about France in the first chapter.

Celestia is the ruler of Equestria, The Unconquered Sun, The Shining Light and an assortment of titles she has forgotten over the years of rule. Normally she could handle the burden well enough, but recent circumstances has put her into much strain.

With Celestia getting even more stressed, Luna has decided that a vacation is needed to relieve the Princess of the Sun from the stressess of ruling Equestria. Hopefully with the assistance of her mother this trip would be a much needed relaxation for the burdened Sun Princess.

After the battle for the Crystal Empire. Extensive searching in the lower levels of the Crystal Castle have unearthed what is possibly the largest and most comprehensive plan to destroy Equestria since Nightmare Moon's return. Now informed and armed with some magitech as well. France has dispatched The Charles de Gaulle and his battlegroup to the Guiana Passage in order to investigate the remnants of the ancient Alicorn Empire. What is revealed during the battlegroup's expedition would create the largest crisis modern Equestria needs to face with.

Equestria have just repelled the Changeling Invasion and Chrysalis is reeling over her loss. With the nation at high alert and the guard mobilized. The Royal sisters are preparing for what appears to be war with the Changelings, but unbenkownst to them, far across the lunar seas, a certain Western European nation was transported from our world to theirs. Whether the ponies like it or not, the arrival of this nation is definitely going to change their entire lives. (Currently undergoing a major rewrite)
