Sombra had returned, but this time he was choosing his plans carefully. He knew about those pesky seven. He knew there would definitely be some trouble if he didn’t enact everything perfectly. He raised an army of warriors fiercer than any pony ever could be and used them to enslave even more creatures one by one slowly.

Then he turned his sights on the Empire, his Empire. And his future favorite prisoner Princess Cadance. King Sombra did not expect the man-turned horror his dark magic would attract.

Content Warnings: Violence because of depicted war. Heavy gore. Suicide / Self Harm because self harm does occur in the story, not as focus of depression, and no suicide is present in the story though it is discussed.

Lucius, who transcended all chains of mortality, travels from world to world to converse and experience. He offers each one the same thing over and over when it is time to part from those who distinguish themselves.

“Together we will have peace. Together we will leave no one, no body, no pony, no creature behind. Together we will lose nothing.”

They were words of mercy, not of triumph in his past.

“Will you come to your happy ever after?”

Lucius pulled from my main work of original fiction. Whipped up in a hurry and then hesitantly posted.

Thousands of moons ago, Nightmare Moon attempted to overthrow her sister. Even more moons prior to that, Starswirl banished the Shadow Pony. Even more moons ago prior to that, Skyros existed.

But millions of moons ago? There was a dynasty that spanned the entire continent of Equestria. One that can be found deep deep underground, past slate after slate of compressed rock. Almost every cave in the modern Equestria won't reach far enough down for a pony to explore it.

And some human ended up there in the land preserved by a spell, buried by a spell, and kept still by a spell.

Almost still.

Reynauld came from almost nothing and carved a home out for himself by any means. He awakes one day to find himself laying in chains in front of three very powerful beings. His resolve to take care of his brother had never changed as he still even plans to search the whole nation for him and get at least him back home.

So he flees and tracks his brother Rhett down by taking action himself. The only way the world taught him how to accomplish anything.

Takes place around Season 3 premiere. Mind the trigger tags.

Something went terribly wrong when Sombra was banished to the Sun as punishment for escaping the curse in the Frozen North and being a constant thorn in Equestria's side.

Cadence couldn't even figure the spell out, Twilight and Luna said it was too far away for them to reach, and Celestia said something was blocking her grasp of it.

Nopony could pull the Sun closer and whatever happened changed Equestria rapidly. Then came what everyone called Sombra's Final Curse.

Inspired by Hinterland's The Long Dark (not a fic/story otherwise on the site, not MLP:FiM related. As a result, some things may seem unrealistic) and as a love letter to my favorite season.

This story is a sequel to The Pointed Woodsmaster

Savus went missing from the war lines when he approached one of two castles alone, stood his ground and contributed to victory but he was missing for two years. Now the Sacred Star General has appeared in Equestria from the whims of the Eight Heroes. Savus, having seen war and battle all his life, decides to stil retire after living in the Dragon Lands after spending two years in constant conflict.

Equestria is just the perfect place to retire, but Savus had always accepted he would die a warrior's death.

Equestria is not a nation that thrives on war.

This is a side story that covers Savus' navigation through Equestria. Please note that it is recommended to read up and complete to An Aeternian's Conviction so you can grasp the story as it unfolds.

This story is a sequel to An Aeternian's Conviction

A declaration of conditional war. A corrupted alicorn destined to return. A unicorn with promises to reap vengeance with new power. All these issues that Equestria faces have eyes on them by the same Aeternian. Arctus finds a balance in all aspects of his life, one that a Storm threatens.

And he still has issues of his own, planning an event, ensuring war never reaches Equestrian soil, finding the truth of his birth, and ensuring a creature continues to grow with him.

Third and final story in series. First story is The Pointed Woodsmaster.

Reading prior stories is heavily recommended.

Contains alcohol use, implied sex, and excessive violence.

This story is a sequel to The Pointed Woodsmaster

Kanna, a Litzrer Captain, was slain at the hand of Arctus who now sits in recovery after refusing to slam the knocker at death's door. Sunset Shimmer has fled to a different world with a promise to battle Arctus in a sinister manner.

The entire time, the Master Scout intends to nurture his relationship with Celestia while protecting the nation from any large shapes coming from the shadows in Equestria.

I chose to separate these stories as each is a different conflict in this large running series. Each story tells a large tale with small little plots intertwining between them.

Contains alcohol use and talk of, but not detailed description, sex. Mentioned offhandedly. Tags added.

It is heavily recommended to read The Pointed Woodsmaster prior to this.

Comes before Launching the Last Star

Chapters (17)

Arctus is a unique existence in the hell that's he's been thrust into. As a scout, he had all the tools he needed and was used to spending time in the woods; but not quite like this, let alone with avoiding some of these creatures.

But from iron bars, it can't be this bad from here on.

Comes before An Aeternian's Conviction.
