River Road

Writing Comedy, Adventure and Slice Of Life. Desperately trying to keep up with all the crazy stories my brain comes up with.

When a crossover is needed, why not make it educational?

Based on the Goofy "How To..." series.

An entry in Estee's Who Crossed Over My Little Pony contest.

If you're not comfortable with cartoon sensibilities of the 30s and 40s and want to avoid the intro, skip to the title of the story in the story (can't miss it) for the guaranteed family-friendly part.

Alphabittle grew up on stories of Bridlewood before the loss of magic. Against an overwhelming atmosphere of dark and dreary depression, there's only so much a single pony can do. But you can still do it and hope that one day it will be enough.

Written for FanOfMostEverything's Imposing Sovereigns III contest for the Perseverance prompt.

This story is a sequel to Mr. and Mrs. S.M.I.L.E.

For centuries anything magic, alien and supernatural has been handled and covered up by the Supernatural and Magical Intelligence League of Earth and their agents. And sometimes this includes putting the latest magical menace to community service under the local branch of S.M.I.L.E.
Princess Twilight gets a visit from the people she least wants to see, offering to help her get rid of the people she most wants to see leave.

Written for FanOfMostEverything's Most Delightful Ponidox contest, sequel to a previous entry to a previous contest by him.

Preread by Saphroneth, who I don't believe has made a Loop out of this yet but statistically he probably has.

Because Equestrian magic has a knack for showing up at the most inconvenient moments, Sunset and her friends find themselves trapped in their new video game. They don't know how to get out, they don't know how to win the game, and some of them don't even know that they're in a game in the first place.

But don't worry, because if Sunset had a plan it wouldn't last five minutes in this pseudo-political mess anyway.

Written for FanOfMostEverything's Imposing Sovereign Contest

If you'd asked Twilight which of her friends would break into her castle to commit an interdimensional crime, Applejack probably would've been pretty far down on the list, somewhere between Fluttershy and Princess Celestia. But between finding several unauthorized uses of the Mirror Portal, a sudden influx of unexplained funds to Sweet Apple Acres and a sharp increase of food-based magic incidents in the human world, it's hard to deny the obvious conclusion.

There's also the fact that Applejack isn't even trying to deny the obvious conclusion.

Warning: spoilers in the comments.

For centuries anything magic, alien and supernatural has been handled and covered up by the Supernatural and Magical Intelligence League of Earth and their agents. A small city in the heart of [REDACTED] in particular has been designated to always have someone from the agency at hand, even though nothing of note has happened there for so long that nobody even remembers why that policy was implemented in the first place.

Get ready for action, drama, paperwork and misguided marital counseling as you follow the adventures of the two poor idiots dedicated agents currently appointed to watch over the sleepy town of Canterlot, where supernatural events don't happen regularly so please stop posting videos of them on MyStable.

And entry into FanOfMostEverything's Villain Exchange Program

This story is a sequel to The Game of Thrones, Alicorn Style

Twilight Sparkle and her friends are expected to host a traditional event previously only reserved for the Princesses. It's very old, very important and very respectable. Or something like that.

My entry to the Springtime Sequel-Slash-Sandbox Switcheroo, where I had the luck of drawing an old friend of mine (from back in the ancient times when Skype was still the go-to messenger).

"Every time these jokers get knocked out by a flailing unicorn or decide the best plan against a magic-sucking centaur is to fly towards his mouth, I'm the one who makes them look good anyway."

Publicity Stunt is the head of the Wonderbolts PR division. Her job isn't glamorous, or even easy, but it is one she is proud of. And once a week she gets to catch up Equestria's most famous flyers on rumors and news about them that show just how wild an imagination ponies can have.

An entry to Aragon's Comedy (Is Serious Business) Contest with the prompt "We Learned Something Newsworthy" and Manaphy's Wonderful Wonderbolts Contest.

Inspired by and the (unofficial) sequel to FanOfMostEverything's Team Cohesion.

Preread by GPizano and FOME himself.

Edit: Thanks to your efforts this story has now surpassed its rival. Huzzah!
