Annoying as fuck: "pegasus". A lot of authors in the community seem dead set on using the plural form in place of singular, that is, calling Rainbow Dash "a pegasi". A lot of authors seem equally set on spelling it completely wrong, such as "pegusis" or "pegasai". And the worst thing? The massive overlap between the two.

Pluralizing "pegasus" as "pegasai" looks dumb. "Pegasususes" is obviously joking, but really, is it that difficult to spell "pegasi"? "Pegasuses" is just as correct in English usage, but really guys. Really. "Pegasai"? It's like you're talking about an Okinawan dagger with a special grip for easier usage by a pegasus.
