So, after being harangued, I spent the whole morning retrofitting Empire of the Moon from a volumized story into a chapterized story on Google Docs. The upshot of this is that I can now import the chapters whole from Google Docs to FIMfiction. The downside is that FIMfiction is still a poor medium compared to Google Docs, incapable of doing the fonts I use and for some reason oddly insistent on centering entire chapters.
