I recently rewatched season 4 and during the finale I took to note taking because I was so surprised at how much I was piecing together for the first time. Don't watch the show uncharitably or you miss half of it. These notes are raw, but I'm still gonna post them. Yinz need more tests of patience in your lives. :)
Tirek is stripping the ponies of their roles in the world, which seem to be partly given and chosen (like real life).
I'm back from Mass and it was nice and all. But two attractive young ladies sat
down right in front of me. Nice long hair uncovered. Does anyone else get
embarrassed when this happens? And not embarrassed out of fighting attraction or
anything, but embarrassment out of the people behind you possibly going 'oh, that
poor boy, most likely single, and having to fight temptation.' That's a stupid
thought but it enters my head. Then I start blushing like an idiot. Though I
I was going to do a Movie Night post; kinda as a joke, but then I'd see where it went from there. But the thing is, I'm not familiar with many good movies. I'd like to be if I could find them. Another thing is, I don't want to act like a potential reader should go and rent the movies I suggest.
The theme tying together tonight's two... ah ha ha... was going to be duty. Roman Holiday (1953) and The Pirates of Penzance (1983). Two romantic comedies, the first more serious than the second.
