Yeah, I'm not so good at the longer-term projects.

I was reading The Immortal Game (which is amazing and y'all should read it), and I suddenly had the urge to write. And out of that, Nightmare was born. Basically, while Nightmare Moon is locked in the moon, she haunts Celestia's dreams.

First fic published! It's that one-shot I mentioned in the last post, Numbers. I struggled a lot with the naming, between Numbers (which had a cooler, cleaner feel to it), and Unforgiven (which I felt was more dramatic and added more emotion). It ended up being that Numbers was the name of the entire thing, and Unforgiven the "chapter name", so if I want to I can expand it into a series of one-shots. That's currently what I'm considering. I know that I already have my two longer fics in the works, but when this plot bunny hit me I couldn't resist. I hammered out a short one-shot (barely over the 1000 word limit, I'm ashamed to admit), that's also nameless (I'm so good at this), and pending a review in The Grading Room of School For New Writers.
