Okay so a car hit me when I was on my bike and as I rolled over the pavement it broke my phone, which is where chapter 10 of A Foal in Sane is located. I'll have it replaced but I may have to rewrite it. Good thing I'll have plenty of time while I'm recovering. You can check out my sweet colored cover art for now.

Man, chapter four was hard to get out for some reason. I've had it going through my head for months and I don't know why I had trouble typing it out, or being motivated. Ah, this means I get to move on to other scenes I'm really excited about.

Other Sunset is getting a really shocking response as far as readership and I'm kinda amused it's netting me my first thumbs down, but no one bothered to say what they actually didn't like. Maybe I'll have to write more short pieces in the future.

Sorry about the long wait on further progress in A Foal in Sane, been tied up with personal concerns. I've got quite a bit plotted out. I just need to block out time for writing now that I'm not using mass transit as often.

So I'm happy to finally have finished my third story. I write the epilogue last month and just needed to be in the right head space to complete it. I'm not sure when chapter one of A Foal in Sane will drop, I may wait until the 14th when it looks like the Season Four Scootaloo episode will air.

Sorry about the long break. I actually have most of the next chapter written but I had a personal tragedy in my life that I needed to recover from. I'll be getting back to the story soon as well as the sequel.

I don't know if any of y'all care but I'd love to hear your favorite and least favorite parts of the story so far. I may take this into consideration for the sequel.

I'm tempted to write my next Scootaloo story in first person present tense to highlight how much more immediate everything is to the teenaged perspective. I'm going to have to do some research and reading first to get it right. In my mind as I try out passages I keep changing back to past tense.

What do you readers think?

I'm thinking about writing a sequel to my current story. It came to me while I was plotting out the finale. It would be told from teenage Scootaloo's point of view, still living with her father and finding her place in adult life. Still going with the Bowie cribbed titles I was thinking "A Foal in Sane".

Next chapter is nearly done. It'll be like an after school special and feature a Pinkie Pie cameo. The Mane Six will not play a huge role in Scootadad, background ponies are more likely to show up, but I had such a fun time writing their parts in the last Scrivener tale that I won't back away from it.
