After everything he knew was left crumbling behind him, Sullivan thought he was through. But as it turns out, the end of his world led to the discovery of a new one, a world populated by magical talking ponies. It was here that fate dumped him, leaving him nothing but a weapon and armor to help him fend off the nightmares this world contains.

And yet, before long, Sullivan found himself caught back up in the darkness, as an evil being plots his vengeance upon all of pony-kind. And as this being plots, he finds himself a pawn in a much riskier game than anyone else first thought. One that threatens to destroy all of Equestria and more, and to create a new, glorious empire to replace it.

The clock is ticking, but can anyone stop this returning threat? More importantly, what is Sullivan's part in all of this?
