This piece is probably more about getting a feeling out into the cosmos than being something written well, I'll be honest. I could take time and care, and maybe clean this up into something respectable, but it would lose so much taking that route that I have no desire to do such.

It's probably a little too on the nose, but that's the way I feel things; not with my mind, not with the scalpel, but with the heart, the maul.

During a morning-time inspection with Rarity, Princess Twilight meets a special pony that she's never even heard of.

It's not every day that you meet a new alicorn, especially one that isn't called a Prince.

After a second date cut short, Spike spends a night out on the town (read: seedy bar) with Big Mac to commiserate the loss. After deciding that he wanted a final snack before bed, he heads to the best bakery in town to find something to take the edge off of his buzz.

Think of this as a spiritual successor to The Days Passed, in the same family as the premise of the first one: Who would Spike seek out after a break with Rarity? This time, instead of ending up on Fluttershy's doorstep, he finds himself at Pinkie Pie's. And this time, it will be more focused on the character growth of Spike while keeping up with the relationship growth between the ship. I hope it lives up to the standards that TDP grew to have, and I had for it

Poor little Rarity, trying so hard only to be laughed at. It's all her fault for rushing out of the house that morning, so hurried that no one saw her until she got to school. What does a little filly do when she fears that she will never have any friends again?

This story is going to be me trying to refine the voice I have in mind for Rarity (not Tabitha St. Germain, she's wonderful). That said, it's still gonna try and be its own thing, not just some word dump, so read and say if you like. The sci-fi tag is in question rn.

Crow is used to being paid to move cargo through the forests, keeping things out of sight that should be kept out of sight. Today, she moves a pony into them instead, guiding him in and towards a relic she's only seen from a distance before.
