Random - Dark

I'm losing my mind to the darkness inside
only to find that my innermost light had died
long before these verses of rhyme graced me.
How could I be so bold to dare to challenge the
darkness I've found inside my own soul,
to attempt to cast it out, now that it has become a part of me?
When I stare into a mirror I find a figure that I
do not recognize, dark and twisted, bent to the will of another.
Pain and suffering fill my eyes as I realize there is no hope to save
