Now he has to traverse the forest filled with creatures, scale the mountain in the distance, and bring back harmony to the world before he falls to chaos.

The following idea was my first ever for fan fiction. The original draft was lost in my grade-ten math class, so I've tried to recreate it here – terrible prose and edgy plot.

A mansion has appeared in the middle of the Everfree, commanding the spirits of all those within its confines, and setting them upon those who dare near the woods. The Elements Bearer's have been sent to investigate and have yet to return.

Spike goes looking for them.

Ponies have lived underground for countless years. Their ceiling of confinement is broken by six mares, each an embodiment of harmony, further fighting to allow freedom to those who dare to rise to the surface.

Then, abruptly through their rebellion, the six mares die, sacrificing themselves for a cowardice of a dragon.

The remaining resistance rebel again the Black Beast, knowing they cannot win now, unless...

A new coffee shop opens up in Ponyville.

Rarity's article on fashion, which she dedicated countless hours into, wasn't featured in her favorite magazine! Of course, this leads her to do what any other rational mare would when faced with rejection: pick up a typewriter and threaten to smash it.

Spike tries to explain that there's more to writing.

A mall filled with undead. Missing friends found insane. A truth to be exposed in seven days.

Not even scales can prevent a zombie bite.

For the past few months, Spike and Rarity have met for tea, but this will be the last time they do so for quite a while.

Watching someone snap is exciting to watch—especially from afar.

To Rainbow, it's like witnessing someone forget about their fears, and do whatever it is they have to do. To Rarity, it's like expressing herself in the most distasteful way possible.

And to Spike, well, he's too scared to snap in fear of destroying the town. Again.

Why do I keep returning to my cabin? Why do I keep trying to improve when mediocracy will always be the result? I should just go to a different land and try different things, but for some inane reason, I can't.

An edgy and petty one-shot by yours truly.
