The Grand(ish) Sorta-Return · 9:25am May 29th, 2018

I want to start this blog post by thanking all my readers for the overwhelming support over the most recent chapter of Sprockets in the North. Thank you for sticking around during my long absence from publishing, and thank you for reading my work.

Excuses, Site Updates, and Lunar Eclipses. · 6:19am Oct 8th, 2014

First off, I'm sorry for the delay in updates. It's getting to be that time of year where I have to adjust to a serious lack of energy. I'm still writing, just having trouble staying conscious long enough to write well. Many of you don't mind, but I still feel the need to apologize. "Sorry" is a versatile word anyway.

Guess What? · 9:33am Jul 27th, 2014

An awesome person is working on an audio version of Gears in the Void! I'm just as surprised as you are but probably more thrilled. Samaru163 was the one who suggested it to him, so I really have two people to thank for this most non-heinous occasion. At the time of this posting, only one chapter is done, but hey, I only had one chapter published at the

Small Edits · 3:29am Jun 14th, 2014

Hello there, and welcome to another thrilling update from that one pony writer, Lab.

During a conversation with a friend—and grammar... let's say "enthusiast"—he pointed out that I didn't need italics for personal thoughts, because I've been writing in first person. To be honest, I have to agree. I'll have to rework the tense of a few of those sentences, but that's not anything major.

The Equestrian Measurement Conspiracy · 12:20am Jun 2nd, 2014

As we all know, US customary units (hereon referred to as "standard measurement" or just "standard") are a silly way of measuring things compared to the common sense of the metric system. Yes, there are a billion-and-one different measurements in standard to cover all sorts of situations, but that's just a ploy to hide the truth. Also, we get to strike fear into the hearts of metric users with our mighty fractions.

The Moment a Fair Percentage of You have been Waiting For. · 9:32pm May 15th, 2014

The sequel, Sprockets in the North, is out!

As some of you may have noticed, I have also updated all of Gears in the Void. Most of the changes are word choice, and very little has actually changed from the original version:

Applejack's "prank" has been removed. I felt it was too weird, and that's saying something.

PTEK · 10:58pm Apr 19th, 2014

Let's face it; in this fandom, there is a very(semi) real chance you will wake up as a pony one day. If you suddenly find yourselves with a cutie mark, strangely colored horse tail or ears, or you just wake up one morning with hooves and a craving for alfalfa, you'll have a lot of adjusting to do. For this reason, the Pony-Transmogrification Emergency Kit(PTEK) was designed.

Small Delay in Sequel · 10:57pm Apr 19th, 2014

As the title says, there is a small delay in the sequel. However, it's only because I plan on releasing the first two chapters at once, because only seeing one chapter up there would bother me.

Chapter 2—Through the Void—Has Been Revised · 12:08pm Dec 9th, 2013

If story-specific blog posts works as I think it does, I'll be moving the update whatnot to here and scrapping that "chapter" from the story. Like I mentioned before, reading the revised edition is optional; think of it as a bugfix patch, not content.

Back to Writing (Finally) · 3:07pm Dec 8th, 2013

Sorry about the delay in revising my chapters. I had some severe computer issues that resulted in me checking fimfiction.net at the library. Sure I could have written stuff there, but writing in public weirds me out. Anywho, one new cpu fan later and I'm back in the game.

On a side note, I heard something about a story specific blog, so I was thinking if that exists, I should scrap the update information chapter and just dump it on there. What do you guys think?
