Some lavender alicorn princess had the bright idea to create a holiday where anypony could come and tell their concerns to Mayor Mare. Any pony. Without an appointment. All day.

Mayor Mare almost made it through the inaugural one without snapping. Or drinking. Or plotting murder.

Until the last appointment...

This is the story of the first, last and only Ponyville Citizen Speak Up Day.

The title was inspired by Lethal Weapon and Cola Bubble Gum. The story was written out of an attempt to kill writer's block.

Rated teen for alcohol use and (likely) future swearing.

Takes place in that magic zone where everything's happened right up until Alicorn Twilight.

Note: This is a comedy, but there are some sharp edges hiding in there. A friendship lesson is learned that probably couldn't be done on the show. Think of it as whipped cream with knives. Be warned.

Additional note: Fimfic won't let me click the 'sad' tag. This is more comedy than drama, but is definitely a dramedy. Sorry if anyone felt misled.

For being found very, very guilty of crimes against ponies, Trixie is offered a choice by Luna: one year in prison, or probation and a new job: becoming Appleloosa's new Sheriff.

But the conditions of her parole are steep: Rule One: Thou must Protect the Innocent and Uphold the Law. Rule Two: Thou cannot Lie or Boast about things Thou hast not done. Rule Three: Thou may only use thy magic in discharge of thy duties."

If Trixie fails any of the three conditions, she will go to the Crystal Empire Prison for three years. Now, under the watchful eye of Braeburn, she must adjust to her new life as peacekeeper instead of troublemaker, truth-teller instead of busted boaster, hero instead of villain.

Say goodbye to Trixie Lulamoon. Say howdy to Sheriff Trixie C. Tgap.

(No really, that's her new name. It wasn't her idea.)

Takes place in the same 'universe' as Adorkable Love.' However, timeline wise, it takes place before those events. Season Three, after the main events of Magic Duel, but before the apology at the end.

Note: Mainly an adventure with comedic beats, but also dark because there will be some grim elements. It's a Western, and some times ponies get roughed up in the West. Bloody and bruised, but nothing beyond a PG-13.

Spike figures out that Cheerilee is making up reasons to visit Twilight at the library, and Rarity further figures out that it's because she must have a crush on Twilight.

When Ponyville's dedicated fashionista combines forces with Ponyville's only dragon to bring two adorably awkward book loving mares together, nothing can go wrong! Except perhaps, everything!

Oh yeah, and some pony ordered 20 trampolines and a bunch of other stuff that keeps getting delivered to one wrong address after another because of the world's worst delivery pony, Blue Bonnet.. More on that later.

Six weeks ago, a box of muffins went missing in Ponyville, and the new Sheriff Trixie (yes, that Trixie) decided to round up the usual suspects. How else can you explain why Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Flutterhy, and.... er... Derpy have all been arrested for the same crime?

Can newly drafted law pony Twilight get her friends out of this mess? Will Sheriff Trixie use this crime as revenge against her tormentors? Can self-appointed Detective Inspector Pinkie Pie find the real culprit? Or will these (maybe) falsely accused ponies get revenge their own way? And just WHO is the mysterious Pranker Pon-ay?
