Manifest Destiny has, after about 4 years, finally reached 1000 views.
In a way this is pretty important. 1000 views. Nice. I sat at my laptop when I saw that it had reached about 998 and waited for it to tick over. and when it did I felt pretty stoked for a few minutes. I was going to make this blog and it would be a big old party. However, when I looked at the statistics and thought it over I realized that this story reaching 1000 views really doesn't mean that much. Let me explain.
Well people. I think that I owe you an explanation.
hello people who read my garbage, i'm going to make this quick. I need your help, and I need it on a very basic and technical level.
Hey everyone. Finals are done. Woohoo. I can finally get back to writing my story full time (not really, I have a lot of family and friends to meet for a while, but it'll happen.) But that's not really what I wanted to talk about today. Because today was a friggen great day.
It’s the type of day where you want to climb a mountain and just shout to the whole world about how great it was. But I don’t have a mountain, I have a keyboard.
Alright followers, read and read well because I want to make this statement and I want everyone to understand it.
Well people, I tried doing something new to me, and that something new was writing two stories at the same time. I can't. I've been slogging along with "The Second Battle of Cloudsdale for two months and still haven't managed a chapter. But then, two days ago, I started writing "Manifest Destiny" again.
Hello everyone, just checked the page and realized it's been nearly two months since I've said a peep. Therefore, it is time for me to say a peep, or a lot. First with the writing.
I just learned that "Calvary" is a location outside of the walls of Jerusalem near where the Christ was crucified, and not to be confused with cavalry, meaning soldiers on horseback.
guess who confused them. yeah.
Lotta editing to do, but i'll do that crap next week.
BTW, update to "Manifest Destiny" coming soon.
Hello! I just wanted to tell you all that I have posted a new story, The Second Battle of Cloudsdale. This is a parallel story to Manifest Destiny, taking place 4 months after the latest chapter (chapter 23, to be specific). It will have airships, flying, close combat, Rainbow Dash, and other cool stuff, and I hope you check it out!
