The sun, eternal and unwavering in it's course. Celestia had been just as determined and unwavering in her convictions once. However, now she faces yet another impossible... no, not impossible, just life altering. Did she still have the resolve to make the logical decision, to be the Princess that her subjects needed, or would she finally give in to selfish desires?

The ones that give us the best advice as foals, more often than not, are our teachers. A bit of good advice can direct a pony towards their fate, giving them the confidence to move forward. Teachers do all this for foals that are not their own and without being privy to the success of the students they teach.

This story is dedicated to my first grade teacher.

Immortal. Most beings don't truly know what that means. Eternity is another one of those funny words that mortals use to try and describe something they haven't the faintest concept of. I know it is near impossible for you mortals to comprehend but i shall do my best to explain.
