Seems hard to believe that yesterday was the one year anniversary for HiE. When I started out on this project I certainly never expected it to become so popular. Hundreds of reviews, thousands of vies, a TVtropes page, and a trailer. All made possible by the devoted fans.

Bully little kids over their love of the show is one thing.

Bullying adults who love the show is something else entirely.

Not that either one of those two is acceptable, however. And it's an especially bad idea when you don't know the target in today's world.

So a while back I asked readers what their favorite aspect of HiE was. There were some interesting responses given.

Now though I'm thinking about a different route. What does everyone believe to be some of the weakest aspects of this long project?

Is it just me? Or did anyone else think that with Maud's style of dress, deadpan manner of expression, and choice of headgear for rescuing her sister, that there were potential German soldier undertones to be detected?
