She awaited patiently as the whirs of wheels and cogs of metal turned as steamed escaped from the train's head. She sat on the velvet chair of the train as time went on and images flew through her eyes as she grazed out the window with glee. It's good to get out of Ponyville once in a while, also great to see my parents. Twilight thought to herself as she she picked up a nearby magazine and read it through. As she read through the magazine the train creaked in long pause as the sounds of horror escaped from the metal wheels and tiny flames flew out of the wheels. Looks like we're here. Twilight proclaimed in her head as the conductor came into the cart. "Now arriving Canterlot, please get ready to leave." He announced as he proceeded into other carts repeating the same info to the other passengers. The lavender unicorn got up from her seat as she stood near the door as it automatically opened. Twilight Sparkle stood outside as she gazed around the royal city and smelled the fresh baguette's aroma swirl through the air as ponies walked in dresses and hats that looked familiar to her. "Oh Rarity, I see Hoity Toity has really taken interest in your designs." Twilight chimes as she walked down the cobblestone streets of Canterlot towards a two story house in the distance. She stops in front of the house as she crunches her fist and knocks on the door. *knock* *knock* *knock* "Who is iiiiiiiit?" A kind female voice ask as Twilight smiled at that familiar voice. "It's me." Twilight exclaims as the door quickly unlocks to reveal a white unicorn mare with a white and purple striped mane and tail as she beamed with excitement. "TWILIGHT!" Her mother screamed as she ran towards her daughter and squeezed her with all her might. "It's so good to see you. Honey come quick! It's Twilight!" The mother screamed at the top of her lungs as she pulled her daughter in her house. "Is that Twilight?" Said a deep voice as a blue stallion came in as he gave a proud smile towards the lavender unicorn daughter. "Hi mom, hi dad, It's great to see you both." Twilight said as she embraced both her parents with love and compassion. The small family walked inside their house as they all sat down in the living room. "So how is Canterlot? Anything I missed?" "Well, nothing new so far. But we have heard of ponies disappearing from the city from green flashing lights." Twilight's father gossiped as Twilight held her mouth in shock. "Well I hope that they find the missing ponies. What about Shinning Armor? Isn't he suppose to be here by now?" "Well we should be expecting your brother and sister to come by any minute. In the meantime would you like some of your favorite mother made cucumber and daffodil sandwiches?" Twilight's mother asked as she had lust for flavor in her thought. "Sure mom." Twilight replied in glee as her mother ran towards the kitchen. "So Twilight anything new with you in Ponyville?" Her father asked as Twilight made a sheepish smile. "Well, nothing new, just the same old book reading for me." Twilight said with a blush as she pulled out a random book from her backpack. "Like this new book I received from my new friend, it's called The Godfather and it sounds interesting." Twilight chimed as she retracted the book inside her bag. A knocking came from her door as her father stood up to answer it. "Hey dad" Twilight's ears perked up at the sound of that voice. "where are ya Twiley?" Twilight turned around as she found her brother Shinning Armor and Cadence there with smiles as her brother wrapped his arms around her and gave her a soldier's embrace. "Gaak...Shinning...too.....hard..." Twilight pleaded for mercy as her brother complied and let her go. "Sorry sis, but I'm just so happy to see you." Shinning said in glee. "Yes, it's very good to see you too my little sister in law." Cadence said as Twilight smiled at her. The whole family sat down at the living room as they chat and ate sandwiches for their family heart's delights. Twilight talked how fine and great Ponyville is, Cadence and Shinning talked about life in the Crystal Empire, while their parents had waited for a question that will embarrass Twilight. "I can't believe that Pinkie Pie cloned herself." Shinning Armor said as he shriveled in fear at the thought. "Yes, I don't think everypony needs a party everyday." Cadence joked as she giggled in a hidden fear. "So Twiley, did you find anypony special yet?" Shinning asked as Twilight chocked on her sandwich. "Brother!" Twilight pleaded in embarrassment as she slapped a hand on her face. The BBBFF stuck out his tongue in comedic laughter as his wife swatted him in the back of his head only leaving a light brown sphere the size of a cup. "You will not taunt my sister in law!" The princess said as she had a lemon face on which caused her husband to cringe back in fear. "Alright alright, sorry Twiley." The BBBFF apologized as he bowed his head in guilt. "It's okay BBBFF, now I must get going to visit the princesses. I'm scheduled to practice spells with Princess Celestia, and to star gaze with Princess Luna tonight." "Aww but are you sure you need to go now Twilight?" Twilight's mother asked. "Sorry mom, but I already scheduled my meet with the princess right about............now." Twilight said as she stormed out the house as her mother tried to run after but a white hoof stopped her in her path. "It's okay mother, you know how she is when she is scheduling." Shinning Armor informed as his father chuckled at the flashback. At the castle it was calm, guards stood like statues as the white alicorn goddess sat at her throne writing down paperwork. As she finished her last form a maid walked in as she bowed towards her leader in greet as she cleared her throat. "Your majesty, Twilight Sparkle is here for the visit." The maid informed as her princess nodded with a smile. "Please send her in, I am most pleased to see her again." The sun goddess said as the maid bowed and walked out the throne room. The throne door open as the lavender unicorn student ending with bullets sliding down her head. "Ah Twilight Sparkle, it is so good to see you again." The princess said as the student ran towards her and embrace her as bullets of sweat drifted down her hair. "H-Hello princess, I'm sorry I'm late I was just-" The purple student paused as a hand covered her mouth as her princess giggled in glee. "Twilight just calm down, or as other ponies would say, 'take a chill pill', you don't need to panic every time we meet. You would already be embarrassing yourself if you panic." The sun goddess informed in cheer as the unicorn student gave out a deep breath as her sweaty bullets dried out. "My apologies princess, it's just that I always get worried because I think that you might assign me a pop quiz or-" Twilight paused as the doors open as a water balloon hit her in the face, drenching her hair as her face turned disgruntled. A navy dark blue alicorn walked in with a face of victory as she pointed towards the sun goddess. "HA HA! Thou sister has been-" The moon princess paused her face turned into shock as she saw who she had hit. "Oh goodness, Twilight Sparkle, we are sorry. Thou had try to win the prank war against thy sister." Luna apologized as Twilight drenched out her mane and Celestia sticking her tongue out at her sister. "She has beaten thou several times already." Luna snarled as she her teeth grind with jealousy. "Thy will get you sister, we swear on it." Luna swore as she raised her fist in vengeance as he retreated into the nearest room. Twilight looked at her teacher in confusion as she giggled in delight at her student's drenched clothes. "My deepest apologies Twilight, it's just that Luna always wanted to prank me after I splashed water on her. In fact she should hit my trip wire right abouuuuut-" As if on cue, a loud noise happened as the room shook with anger and aggression. "RAAAAAAGGHGH THOU SISTER WILL PAY!!!" "now." Celestia finished as Twilight shriveled in fear. "Now then, what would you want to do Twilight? I have the day off from the castle." Celestia said as Twilight looked at her teacher in shock. "W-What!?! But how will Equestria run?" "Oh that's easy. I gave the day to Luna so that she experience what would happened if something happened to me." Celestia explained in a flat. "She needs training, if I am somehow to be disappeared off the face of Equestria, then Luna must run by herself." Celestia explain as she looked out the window. "One day, Luna isn't going to receive any help from me any longer." Celestia said in a low tone as she lowered her head. She could feel a hand grab her shoulder, she could feel a shock wave of love and care as it coursed towards her heart. "It's okay princess, I understand completely." Twilight comforted as the princess smiled down upon her. "Thank you Twilight." "You're welcome princess, also, can we try a new spell? Ponyville is rich in books and all, but I wanna try something challenging." Twilight said in enthusiasm as she raised her fist in the air and fell the fire ignite in her eyes. "Where did you get this advice and enthusiasm?" Asked a curios, smirking Celestia as Twilight scratched the back of her neck in embarrassment. "Ehh heh heh... Iron...Will. He taught me, 'Take a challenge, and have more balance!'. Twilight recited as her eyes continued to burn with determination. Celestia giggled as she could see her young student embarrass right in front of her. "Well, we could try an invisibility spell, it is a high level spell, but I don't think-" "I'LL DO IT!!!" Twilight objected as she punched the air. ---A while later, actually more like 10 minutes later--- BOOM! A massive explosion happened as a massive burnt crate was left in the garden of Cantelot. There laid Twilight as she was burnt to a near crisp as Celestia stood back behind a steel barrier as she was clean as a whistle. Twilight coughed in polluted air as she stood up from the crate and crawled out in weakness. Celestia popped out of her barrier as she and Twilight started to laugh in embarrassment. "Welp... looks like you need some practice, in a few years." Celestia said as she helped Twilight of out her magic made crater. "Thank you princess, that was fun and all but now I have to go and see Luna." Twilight said as shun her horn and created a small tornado wiping off any burnt remains that stuck to her dress. Celestia nodded in agreement as Twilight ran back inside the castle and up the stairs. Upon reached the correct floor she need, she found Luna's room who's door had a crescent moon on it. Twilight cleared her through and let out steam of panic as she slowly knocked on the door. The door open to greet Twilight with a coconut cream pie on her face. "HA HA! Thou has-" Luna stopped to realize the same mistake she has made. "Oh my goodness, Twilight Sparkle we are really sorry for this." Luna pleaded in apology as she quickly levitated a rag and wiped off Twilight's face of any excessive whipped cream leaving only a face of a lemon. Luna gulped as she quickly pulled in Twilight into her room as she continue to give a snarly look at Luna. "So um... what has thou done with thy sister of mine?" Luna asked in a timid tone as she tried to avoid any conflict of what just happened. "Luna, don't you think you should stop this prank war between you and your sister?" Twilight asked in a annoyed tone as she crossed her arms. "We apologize deeply for this Twilight Sparkle, it's just that we are tired of thy sister's pranks that we swore that we would get thy sister payback." Luna swore as she began to walk towards her balcony. She opened the door and in front of her laid a telescope and several books involving stars and constellations. "But for now let us get on with out star gazing night, shall we Twilight Sparkle?" Twilight nodded in agreement as the two spent the night watching the twinkling blanking of the blue shaded sky. "Twilight, art thou seeing somepony special?" Luna asked curiously as Twilight's cheeks turned bright red at the mention. "L-Luna, please, I am not seeing anypony. I uh-" "Do not worry Twilight Sparkle, if thou doesn't wish to speak of it, then we will not talk of it." Luna said as Twilight gave a small sigh of relief. "Thank you princess." Twilight thanked in relief as the two continued to star gaze as a small ball of ice soared through the sky. "That's new, what is that princess? A-A meteor?" Asked a curios but panicked Twilight. "Oh that Twilight Sparkle?" Luna asked in a smirk as she pointed towards the flying ice ball. "That is what's called thy comet, a comet is a ball of ice that soars through the skies as it leaves particles of ice behind. It is beautiful, is it not?" "Yes it is Luna, It is-" Twilight Sparkle paused as she could hear the door slam open as Celestia appeared with a massive squirt gun in her hands. "SURPRISE ATTACK!!!" Celestia exclaimed as she pulled the trigger unleashed a tidal wave of water force that Luna quickly dodged out of the way, but what she didn't think of was Twilight Sparkle who was behind her. The burst of water splashed all over Twilight as she started to become pushed back towards the balcony rail, but it was too much as Twilight was pushed over the rail and down towards the ground. "TWILIGHT!!!" Celestia screamed in horror as both princesses jumped off the balcony and flew towards the damsel in distress. Eagle Eye, a warrior, fighter, and a strange unicorn with a light brown coat and a white mane with accents of black on it. He had several weapons surrounding him, a one edged sword on his back along with a small hatchet tied with the sword, he wore a jacket with a hood shaped like a eagle's head, and clothes dark as if he were a shadow. He was sitting in a dark alley as he began drinking a large bottle of Applejack Daniels with some fellow rag tags. "So-" Eagle began as he slammed down his bottle and slid it to the next stallion on the poor wooden stable. "-after I sliced up that tree, I began to take up wood carving." Eagle Eye said in a drunken tone as his other rag mates started to laugh and hiccup in drunk hilarity. "Bwahaha I like dis new ding you got, wood carving! Maybe make sum shooooooos or somdin." One pony said as he fell down off his box and passed out. "Ya mate *hiccup* and thanks for the whiskey, where'd you say you got it?" One drunk hobo stallion asked as Eagle slapped himself in the face only to regain little consciousness. "I stole it, simple as that. The liquor salescolt didn't see it coming." Eagle eye said as he walked out of the alley. "Se y- *hiccup*- ya guys later, I'll try to bring some more food next time." Eagle Eye said as he pulled out his hood and walked calmly towards the nearest cafe. He sat down at the cafe table as he flipped off his hood and quickly shun his horn as the weapons on his back started to become transparent. A waiter slowly walked towards him with a flat face and a notepad. "Ello sir, quat would you like to ordeh?" The waiter spoke in a fancy accent as Eagle tapped on the table four times. "Some coffee, and a good one." Eagle spoke in a calm tone as the waiter smirked and wrote down his order. Eagle remained silent for the rest of the time as he patiently waited until the waiter brought back his coffee. His coffee was black and topped with whipped cream as the waiter placed a small glass of white liquid on the table. "So ere's your supee coffee, wemember qe have e deal." The waiter whispered as Eagle nodded and reached into his pocket and pulled out a water drop shaped sapphire. "Here ya go, an oceanic sapphire, hard to get but something to fix an immediate drunk like me? It'll be worth it." Eagle said as he slowly slid the gem towards the waiter as he did the same with Eagle's drink. Eagle took the drink as he dunk both liquids in his mouth as he swished it around and gulped it whole. He could feel his brain starting to function, his veins pump, and his heart pound like a drum as he shook within disbelief as he slammed both glasses on the table. "WOO! Man that keeps me going." Eagle Eye said as he bowed towards the waiter in thanks and walked along the streets of Canterlot. "STOP HIM!" A local stallion exclaimed as Eagle looked behind him as he found several Canterlot guards pursuing him. "STOP THE OUTLAW!!!" Eagle quickly sprinted away from the guards as he leaped over a fence and then konged over a fruit cart. As he kept on running he quickly jumped on top of a stack of crates as he leaped off towards an window which was immediately open. Eagle Eye quickly grabbed the ledge of the window and he pulled himself in making the mare of the building scream in horror and stood aside, Eagle quickly diminished the mare as he sprinted towards the other window on the other side of the hallway. He put much force into his next leap that he curled up into a ball and broke through the window as he reached the ground with multiple citizens looking at him in shock and fear. "Is that the-" "Yes everypony, I'm that crook ponies been callin me, I am the 'Death Bird', or so I've been nicknamed. Well, hope you enjoy the show." Eagle Eye said as multiple guards ran with spears in hands as Eagle quickly sprinted towards a nearby alley to hide, unfortunately it failed. The guards found him as Eagle slowly stepped back only to find him self in a dead end. The guards slowly approached him with spears armed as he gave a victorious smirk towards them. "What's so funny?" One guard asked. Eagle Eye started to laugh with greed as the guards became confused. "What's so funny? WHATS SO FUNNY!? Do you even know who I am? Do you know what I can do? Do you know what I've done?" Eagle Eye taunted as his body shattered and became like glass as it took the form of an eagle. Eagle flew up towards the rooftops as he reappeared as a pony and watched as the guards became confused. "Where'd he go?" "Did anyone see him?" "How did he do that?" "Check the perimeter!" The guards started searching around kicking cans, sweeping spears, and checking areas of stealth but there was no trace of the criminal what so ever. "He's gone." One guard said as they all started to leave the alley. "No wonder they call him the stallion that can disappear." Eagle Eye started to laugh as he returned to the alley and flipped up his hood. He started to walk around the city as he acted like everypony. He walked behind groups like a wolf as he became invisible like an eagle. He kept walking around the city as he reached the southern part of the city, it was a little dirty and not as fancy, but decent for citizens with a regular salary. Eagle Eye reached ann old apartment building as he entered his apartment. It was messy but somewhat clean to a lodger, he sat down on his couch as he stopped and took a quick look at himself in the mirror. He took off his coat and shirt as he looked at the bandages strapped to his back. He went to his bathroom, cut off his old bandages to reveal two massive wounds on his pack as the blood quickly splurged out. Eagle quickly took bandages from his cupboard and quickly applied it to his back. Still!? It's been years and there's still blood. Well you can't escape it, you're still- No, I don't want to be, not ever. If I am to be one of them, then I will act like the opposite. I will live life to the fullest and to most good, the bad is my greedy side. Suit yourself, your time could come up. We shall see. Eagle Eye stepped out of his bathroom as he slumped his body on his couch. He closed his eyes and he drifted off into a minor slumber. ---1025 years ago--- It was night time in Canterlot as the winds roared and the leaves swirled in the night sky. A young happy couple was in the hospital as screams of horror and pain were being echoed all across the room. An adult mare was giving birth as the stallion husband held her hand close and tight. "Don't worry honey, you can do it. Just push!" "WRAAAAAAh Ughh...." A child appeared before the young couple as the doctor picked him up. "Congratulations, it's a unicorn boy." The young baby colt was tanish brown with a white mane. The doctor held the baby longer as he examined him for a longer while as his face looked concerned. "Hmmm...." "Is something wrong doctor?" The father asked. "Um nurse Red Cross can you wash the baby please?" The doctor asked a nearby nurse as she nodded and took the baby into the next room. "Can I speak to you alone please?" The doctor asked the father as he nodded, the two headed to the next room along as the wife laid in bed exhausted and confused. "What's wrong?" "How can I put this? .......Your son, he's a....an alicorn." The doctor said as his jaw dropped towards the ground like an anvil. "WHAT!? You just said he was a unicorn!" The father yelled as the doctor gave a heavy sigh. "Yes I know what I said. But I took a closer look at your son and I noticed some small feathers popping from his back. Tell me, do you or your wife have any genetic connections to the royal family?" The doctor asked as the stallion father scratched his chin. "Well, if I remember, my wife is a cousin of Celestia and Luna." "I see, then that explains it. Now onto the bad news. I'm afraid that your son is immortal in age." The doctor said in a low tone as the father started to shed a tear. "No, it's not possible." "I'm sorry, but alicorn blood is sacred, and deadly. The blood has different cells that prevent ageing, he can still die, but only by force." The doctor explained in a low tone as the stallion father wept for minutes. "I'm really sorry but there is nothing we can do." "I completely understand." The father sniffed as the doctor placed a hand on his shoulder. "I will call her highness right away, she must know of this." The doctor recommended as the father nodded. "Yes, I agree." Eagle woke up in a cold sweat as he looked around to find out that Luna's cloak of tiny lights was clothed over Equestria. He rose up from his couch as he put on his jacket and flipped over his hood as he walked outside to the empty streets of the city. He flew up a short distance to the roof tops as he looked at the beautiful stars and constellations of the city. A white blue sphere started to soar across the sky as Eagle was interested and chased after it. He ran on the top of the rooftops as shattered into a form of an eagle and reappeared into a shape of a stallion on several rooftops as he chased after the white sphere. But alas the sphere was too fast for him as he lost sight of it near the castle, he gave a chuckled defeated sigh as he sat down. "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Eagle's ears perked up as he looked up to find a unicorn mare falling from a balcony of Canterlot. Eagle Eye perked up as he sprinted towards the falling mare with all of his might. Near the base of the fall, Eagle jumped up as he took up the shape of an eagle and flew towards the falling mare, before reaching her she could see the two princesses flying down far from her. "Sister, we won't reach thy Twilight in time!" The dark blue one informed in panic. "Faster my sister! FASTER!!!" The white one pleaded as the both of them quickened their pace. Eagle Eye flew towards the falling mare as he re-imaged his stallion form as he caught the falling mare midair and held her tight. "Hold on tight!" The tan stallion quickly informed as Eagle quickly placed the mare on his shoulders and placed his feat first towards the ground. He wrapped on arm around the mare and his other palm facing towards the ground. Upon reaching the ground the earth shook as the shattered glass like material surrounded him as they took the shape of a bear on Eagle Eye. He quickly place the mare down on the ground as he took a quick look over her. He eyes were rolled back and white, foam crawling out of her mouth like drool, and sweat began to slide down her head. "Yep, she's out cold." Eagle easily assumed as he took a look at the mare's face as he felt a little warm. "Huh, she's-" Eagle Eye quickly regained thought as he looked behind him, the two princesses who flying fast towards him. He gritted his teeth as he crouched and became shattered like glass as he took in the form of a wolf, he quickly paced himself towards the nearest alley as he watched from the shadows. The two princesses reached the student on the ground as the white sun goddess quickly ran towards the student and held her in her arms. She quickly looked over her as she placed a hand over her fore head, she gave a sigh of relief as she rested twilight's head on her thighs. "Thank goodness, she's just out cold." Celestia relieved as Luna stared into space with a worried expression. "Luna, is something bothering you?" Asked a concerned big sister. "Sister, thy swear we saw him fly towards Twilight Sparkle." Luna said in a cold tone as her sister's eyes started to widened with disbelief. "Him!? I thought he killed himself. How are you sure that you think it's him?" "Well thy sister, we swear that we saw thy eagle, but this eagle was as if it was made of shattered glass. I could even feel his magic pulsing through the air, remember what he can do sister." Luna reminded in a worried tone as Celestia shed a single tear. Twilight Sparkle moved around as she opened her eyes to regain consciousness, she looked around to find herself on the ground and on Celestia's lap. "P-Princess?" Celestia quickly reacted as she embraced the confused unicorn. "P-Princess, what happened? Why are we on the ground, why are you crying, and....why am I wet?" Twilight asked as the two princesses exchanged worried faces. "Well-" ---some time later--- Eagle Eye chuckled to himself at the mare's safety as he turned around to find several figures standing in front of him with looks of greed and violence. "Can I help you gentlecolts?" Eagle Eye asked as he glimmered his horn causing his weapons to appear behind his back. He placed the palm of his on his hatchet as it started to glow red. "Yea, give us your money and no one gets hurt." The middle thug said as he pulled out a switch blade and pointed the tip towards Eagle. "A clock is ticking on your life." The thug threatened as Eagle Eye gave a smirk. "I like your knife." Eagle said as the three thugs became confused. "Too bad it's mine now." Eagle Eye proclaimed as he threw his hatchet as it blazed a red flame. the hot blade made contact with the left thug as it shifted and hit the thug on the right decapitating both thugs only leaving the middle one, the flaming hatchet then shifted as it made contact with the middle thug's hand, that it magnetized the knife, sticking it to the hatchet like glue as the hatchet returned to Eagle Eye's hand. He plucked the sharp fruit from his hatchet as he placed it back on his back and took a close examination to the switch blade. "Cheep, this steel is rusty, but lethal." He said as he tossed the knife aside like garbage causing the remaining thug to scoot back in fear. "W-Who are you?" The thug asked in fear as Eagle gave a mischievous smirk towards the thug. "I am what ponies call me, the 'Death Bird'." Eagle proclaimed as he threw his hatchet at the remaining thug as the blade became stuck in his chest. The thug could feel heat coursing through his muscles as he began to feel lighter and bloat like a balloon. "Goodbye." Eagle finally said as the hatchet flew back into Eagle's hand as the last thug exhaled not air, but blood as he fell down, his blood was flooded in his body as it gurgled out from his mouth and nose. Eagle walked to the last kill as he bent down and closed his eyelids. "Rest in peace." Eagle said as he looked outside of the alley to find the group of mares gone, especially the princesses. Eagle gave a heavy sigh as he walked home. As he reached home, he took off his jacket, slumped down on the bed, and stared into space as he slowly drifted off to sleep. > Chapter 2: Mystery Colt > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 2: Thank you "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU NEARLY KILLED ME!!!" Twilight exclaimed at the top of her voice as waves of anger began to flow out of her mouth... literally. Guards and maids started to retreated to the exterior of the castle as Twilight stomped her way out of the castle as the two princesses slowly followed her with apologies multiplying by the second. "Twilight I give my sincerest apologies." Pleaded Celestia as she held her hands together in prayer. "As do we Twilight Sparkle." Luna begged as she held her hands like her older sister. Though we are impressed at her royal voice. But thy fear it is better than ours. Luna thought in her mind as the two princesses continued to follow the enraged unicorn with apology. "GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON, WHY I SHOULDN'T JUST CAUSE SOME MAGICAL ACCIDENT THAT WILL DO SOMETHING!?!?!?" Threatened Twilight in a serious tone as Celestia stood up. "We can end this prank war between my sister and I." Offered Celestia as Luna walked up beside her. "Yes, we are to be stopping this silly war between thy sister and I." Luna followed as Twilight's face didn't change. It was still the same heated up face as the two princesses quickly looked around for something else to offer. "Free books and scrolls from the castle library?" Celestia offered in a nervous tone. "Maybe." Twilight said in a stern tone as she looked up at the sky. "Then what does thy Twilight Sparkle need?" Asked Luna as Twilight turned around with a serious face. "How did I live?" Twilight asked as both princesses turned confused? "I noticed that even with your massive wings, you two wouldn't be able to catch me, unlike Rainbow Dash because she needs at least hundreds of feet to reach a sonic rainboom. And I was too far away from your magic capabilities that it wouldn't even reach me, yet I still live without a scratch, so how did I survive?" Twilight asked in a serious tone as a quick thought paced through her head. "Wait......am I a zombie?" Twilight asked in horror as she pictured a Equestria in blood and black. "No Twilight you aren't a zombie." Celestia said in a calm tone. She gave a heavy sigh as she looked at her student with a serious expression. "Twilight Sparkle, we need to talk. It is a long story." Celestia commanded as the three ponies walked into Celestia's private quarters. "Please sit, have some tea." Celestia recommended as Twilight sat down on a chair as Luna levitated a hot cup of tea towards her. Twilight took the beverage as she sipped it calming her nerves down. "Sister, it is time." Said Luna in a low tone. "Yes." Celestia looked at Twilight as she cleared her throat. "Twilight, how you lived is a theory to us and only us. Nearly one thousand years ago, before my sister was banished to the moon, a young unicorn colt was born, our cousin who had given birth to him. When the doctors closely examined him, they found out that he didn't just have a horn, but wings too." "So he was an alicorn!?" Twilight asked in pure shock. "Yes, it is very rare to be born in alicorn royal blood. Only members of the royal family can be born, like my sister and I. Though, not in thousands of years had I had a nephew born an alicorn, this was the first time we have had this happened. After I have received this news of the new born alicorn, we wanted to hide the news in case of any attack or kidnapping." "Who was this colt that was born princess?" Asked the curious unicorn. "I cannot remember his name, it was long ago and he would rarely share, but when I first saw him as a colt, I thought that Equestria would change forever. I nor have my sister has seen another full blood alicorn in ages, I even examined him myself with my magic and could easily tell, he was pure alicorn. Months after his birth, my cousin who had given birth to him died from a terrible illness. A month after that, his father suffered the same fate. I took him in myself as if I had just had a son, but he was my nephew. I raised him to be royal, to rule Equestria in any future matter, and oddly enough, he rejected any photography. Everytime he would see a camera, or even a sketch artist, he would flee from the picture and try and to be alone from the public." "But why haven't I seen him princess? I've been in the castle for almost my whole life!" "There is another explanation for that Twilight. He was taking a liking to hide and stay hidden, even preform tactics that would involve sneaking in to grab a cookie from the kitchen. He would always hide around the castle, he always hide around you and I from what I remember." "Why princess?" "Because he likes to be alone. I tried to reason with him to see to the public but he just wanted to stay by himself. He would read and fight in a imaginary world of his when he was just a colt. Over the years that passed by, he began to give in to real combat. He asked me if he could join the royal guard, I told him that he could. He learned the ways of fighting, he learned all the fighting skills here...but he just wanted more. He left the castle and journeyed the rest of the world, he came back years later as he learned from karate to kung-fu, to even ancient fighting styles from Saddle Arabia and Clopssia. When he came back, I feared that he would use his skills to defeat all my guards, but he didn't, I was glad. But after he came back, he began to read and study the works of magic in Canterlot. Since we have the biggest library, he began to learn all of the spells of stealth and combat, and eventually, he left again and came back with new spells and magic that I could have never known or believe with my own eyes. He was very fond was his magic known as mana." "Wait, I think I've heard of this 'mana'. It's magic that resides inside all living things, especially animals. But I thought it was just make believe princess." Twilight remembered. "That was what I thought, but then he showed me this so called, mana. He could fly without his wings, it wasn't levitation, nothing like that. He would shatter like glass as it would take the form of an eagle, he would fly short distances without wings or unicorn magic. But when he combined mana with our alicorn magic, he could do more, he would take the form of a wolf and walk around becoming unseen, or worse act like a bear, though I have not seen what he can do with his bear powers. I nor Luna could see or sense his magic, we could still see him, but just barely, like a needle in a haystack. But he was still responsible, I just don't know why, I thought he would obtain all power to overthrow me, but he didn't." "But princess, how come you sound surprised and shock when Luna thought he was alive, was he dead?" Luna stepped in as she cleared her throat. "He was only at the age of 25 when he found somepony to love. It was one of our female soldiers, her name was Sole Spear, and they were a young and good couple. But not all things can stay young Twilight Sparkle, by the time when she kept aging, he did not. He stopped aging as Sole Spear died at an old age, while the stallion remained young. He was enraged and took her loss greatly, he thought that if he were to cut off his wings, he would loose his immortality of age, but he was wrong. He may have cut off his wings permanently, but he didn't die. We figured that he would go into suicide, or so we thought." Luna finished as a tear was shed from her eye. "Or so we thought?" "Yes, when you were saved, we swore that we have seen thy eagle that thy have seen long ago. He was the only one who could actually master thy animal powers." Luna answered. "Then why hasn't he come back to the castle?" "Because-" Celestia started. "He was enraged because we couldn't do anything. We cannot stop aging by force, he decided to drop the royal formalities and abandoned us. He left us a note saying that he would commit suicide, I guess something convinced him not to." "Is he dangerous?" Twilight asked with a pill of fear. "He takes justice into his owns hands. He is a nice stallion from what I remember, nice, calm, a good temper, but hates crime. I remember when he was still in the royal guard, he would just always recommend an execution for thieves and other criminals. The captains would always reject his idea, but I sensed that he would someday take it into his own hands. In fact-" Celestia paused as she picked up the newspaper as the front article showed two decapitated stallions and one with a pale white skin tone. "I think this is his doing, this just came in today, and I sent out multiple guards and investigators to find him. Thugs and criminals are the only ponies he would justify in his own way, anypony else he would help, like foals, homeless, and even orphanage kids." "Well why does he kill for justice?" Asked a confused but panicking Twilight. "He greatly believes that violence is the only answer." Luna answered. "Why? It's never the answer!" Twilight exclaimed "About a thousand years ago, Equestria was in a war. The Striped Feather war, a war between us, Zebras, and Griffons for territory. We fought for years until we put up the most arms and won for peace. Apparently, this stallion today served that war. He would capture prisoners of war and assist interrogating them, but sometimes, when we received the spilled information, he would give them last words. This would explain his 'violence being the only answer'." Celestia finished as she picked up a glass of water and gulped it down to clear her throat. "But why would he save me?" Asked Twilight "Is it not obvious?" Luna started. "You were simply what others would say, 'a damsel in distress' and he simply saved you from death. He also knows who you are, but he only knows you as the element of magic, fortunately he doesn't know your real name." Twilight stayed there frozen, there was something, but she can't find it. "Do you think he can change?" Twilight asked in a caring soft tone. "Hmmm... It is possible Twilight, but I wouldn't think of it. He has done this for so long, and has lived as long as Luna was on the moon, I think he's believed in his own way for too long to be indoctrinized into peace. But I am thinking that you should go back to Ponyville Twilight, I worry that he could go for the elements, in learning what else he would learn." "Yes princess, I will leave immediately." Twilight saluted as she was escorted out the door and towards the train station. She boarded the train as she left for Ponyville. In the train she sat down with a magazine as a brown stallion sat behind her back to back. > Chapter 3: New Home, New Hideout > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 3 New Home, New Hideout Eagle was in his apartment on his bed as he looked straight up at the ceiling. Thoughts and pictures of the two princesses raced through his mind as he could a a distinct scratching coming from the nearest room. He heard whimpering as he smiled and stood from his bed. He opened the room door as he was pounced by a coffee table sized dog with black and white fur, the dog licked Eagle in the face as he gave a hearty laughter. He pushed the dog away as he sat up facing the dog who wagged his tail and rapidly breathed in excitement. "Heh heh, good to see you to Rebel." Eagle smiled as his dog gave a bark of joy. "What's that boy? You want a treat?" Rebel barked in agreement as Eagle reached into his drawer and pulled out a dog biscuit. "Okay, sit, lay down, roll over," Rebel obeyed as he completed all but one of his tricks. ", okay, nooooooow catch!" Eagle exclaimed as he tossed the biscuit into the air causing Rebel to leap up and chomp the treat down whole in mid air. Rebel chewed and enjoyed his treat as Eagle rubbed his head in comfort. "Good boy, now stay here, I gotta meet my friends." Rebel barked in agreement as he jumped on top of Eagle's bed, lied down, and closed his eyes into a soft slumber. Eagle approached his room carfully not trying to wake up Rebel, he approached the wall as he took his weapons and applied them to his back. He lit his horn as they disappeared leaving his back naked of weapons. Eagle Eye walked outside with a brown small bag, the size of a bottle as he flipped over his hood and walked into the nearest alley. He stood in the black bush of the alley as he looked around for any guards. He ran out as he quickly walked calmly around the massive crowd of ponies. He slowly sneaked through the crowd as he reached the alley he wanted to see. He approached the mini black forest and walked till the dead end, there he found the same homeless ponies around a trash bin fire all laughing with their hearts with a few bottles of alcohol. He walked towards the circle as he sat down on the ground. "Hey guys, sorry I'm late." Eagle said as the group of hobo ponies all looked at him with smiles. "Eaggglleee!" All the ponies greeted simultaneously as they all have hearty laughs and cheers. "Hey guys, brought something special." Eagle said he pulled out the object from his brown paper bag. "I brought a crap ton of forty!" Eagle exclaimed as all the hobo ponies cheered in delight. They all drank till their hearts content until all but a few and Eagle sat with pink cheeks. "Mann.... I gotta move out of this city." Said Eagle as he moaned through his drunk state. "Well, you could just move out. I now a goooooood place, my cousin say's it's reaaaaal quiet." A drunk hobo pony said. "Where?" Asked Eagle. "It's a small town near here called Ponyville. That place is reaaaal quiet and peaceful. I think you and your dog 'll love it! You're dog, Rebel, he's a husky right?" Another hobo asked as he fell back unconscious. "Yea I do, can't believe I found a husky in Equestria." Claimed Eagle. "Yea, I heard good things about that place." Another hobo rumored as Eagle placed a check mark under his chin. "Hmmm.... yea, yea. That place sounds good. But I can't just leave you guys here." Eagle cared as another hobo blew a raspberry in objection. "Phbbbbbbt, don't worry about us boy! We're old, we don't need this special treatment. Go ahead and enjoy your life!" The hobo pony replied as Eagle's face turned flat. I'm older than you think old man. Eagle stood up as he gave one last salute towards his fellow friends... who all lied on the ground unconscious. "...Whelp... can't be helped." Eagle said as he started to walk home. He reached upon home as he found Rebel still sleeping on his bed, he gave a quick whistle as the husky sprung up from the bed and wagged his tail, happy that his master was home. "Hey boy guess what?" Eagle asked as Rebel shifted his head sideways in a 45 degree angle. "We're moving." Said Eagle as Rebel gave a happy bark in agreement. "Great, let's pack up now before anypony shows up." Recommended Eagle as the husky nodded in agreement. Eagle walked outside as he dragged along his bag as Rebel followed by his side. Eagle wore a plain white hoodie to disguise himself from any trouble that could pounce upon him. He walked down the maybe roads of the city as he reached the same alley that his hobo friends were in. He sat down with his fellow brothers as Rebel lied down next to a local hobo as he rubbed the top of his head in care. "Hey guys, what's up?" Eagle greeted as the group of homeless all waved and said their 'hellos' in greet. "I wanted to give my last farewell gift to you guys." Eagle said as he pulled out a large pouch from his suitcase. He opened it to reveal a wealthy pile of bits causing all of the homeless ponies to smile. "Get yourselves cleaned up or something, aight?" "Thanks man." "Yea thanks." "Good luck in Ponyville." "I will." Eagle confirmed as he and Rebel stood up. "Come on boy, let's go." Eagle commanded as Rebel obeyed as the two left the happy group of hobos. Eagle and his husky traveled down the road as they arrived at the train station. Eagle and Rebel were about to step inside the train cart, but was stopped by a hoof in uniform. "I'm sorry sir, but I'll need to put your pet in the other cart." informed the conductor as Rebel started to whimper. Eagle knelt down as he lifted the dog's chin. "It's okay boy. Just go with the good man." Eagle softly commanded as Rebel's ears perked up and followed the conductor to the farther cart. Eagle stepped inside his cart as he sat in and gave a massive relaxing sigh as he closed his eyes in slumber. A lavender unicorn mare entered the train car as she sat down behind him as she pulled out a magazine to read. The train started to creak in horror as steam blew out from the tip of the connecting carts as it took off towards Ponyville. > Chapter 4: Ponyville > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 4 Ponyville The train screeched as it made a full on stop as Twilight Sparkle and the stallion behind her both stood up to exit the train towards the main town. Twilight quickened her pace as she speed walked her way towards her hollowed out tree house. As she arrived at her home, she opened the door to find her loyal assistant spike sitting in the middle with a confused look. "T-Twilight? I thought you wouldn't come back until next Tuesday?" Twilight slammed the door shut as she faced towards her little dragon with disbelief. "Spike! I need you to gather all of the Elements and it's bearers! You won't believe what just happened to me!" Eagle stepped out of his train as he looked around for the nearest conductor. He found one as he approached him. "S'cuse me, do you know where they keep the pets?" Asked Eagle. "Oh yea, this way." The conductor instructed as he led Eagle to the farthest cart. The conductor opened the door as he found two other train employees ravaging through the luggage. "Hey guys, any pets come in today?" "Yea, just this one dog." "Cool, this guy needs him." The other employee ravaged through the luggage as he found the husky in a cage. He brought the dog outside as he unlocked the cage causing it to leap onto it's owner in glee. "Hey Rebel, good to see ya too." Eagle said in a happy tone as he got up and looked at the conductors. "Thanks, here," Eagle reached into his pocket as he pulled out three bits, he flicked one to each worker as he left without having them saying a thanks. He walked around the town as multiple ponies chatted, colts and fillies playing peacefully, and shops selling with glee. "This is my kinda town." Eagle said with a smirk as he continued to walk around with his husky. Twilight Sparkle sat there in her home with all of her friends as she explained what has happened to her and the story that was told from the two balanced goddesses. All of them had mouths gaped open and covered at the story of this mysterious colt. "And that's the story, so right now, we need to be cautious. Who knows where this killer could be." "As long as he doesn't go for my Sweetie Belle, then I'll be fine." The white unicorn mare said with determination. "Yea right, as if he can go for my Dashing moves!" The cyan mare joked as everypony except the pink mare groaned. "Well ah'll be fine sugar cube, I got mah two feet and all the bucking power I can do. YeeeeeeeeeeeeHooooooo!" Screamed the orange cowmare as she twirled her hat around. "Don't worry, we'll get 'im"! Said Pinky as she pulled out her party cannon. "Umm.. can't we just...I don't know... make peace?" Suggested the timid Fluttershy. "I was hoping for that Fluttershy, but I don't know. The princesses both said that he is a killer and he possibly has more power than all of us combined. I really wish he would stop believing that violence stops everything." Twilight said in a low tone as she hung her head down. "But for now, we need to stay alert everypony. If you see anypony doing strange magical activities, tell me and I will notify the princess immediately." Twilight recommended as everypony started to salute and leave the building with small worries. Twilight sat there gazing into a blankness as Spike placed a hand on her shoulder causing her to flinch. "Oh! Sorry Spike I'm just worried." "About what Twi? You're the most powerful unicorn in the world! I'm sure you'll beat him!" The purple dragon said with determination as he gave a hearty causing the purple mare to giggle. "I hope so Spike." The purple unicorn mumbled. "I hope so....." Suddenly, a grumbling noise started to erupt from Twilight's stomach as she blushed in embarrassment. "Sorry, I didn't get a chance to eat. C'mon, let's go get some breakfast." Eagle walked around the gleeful town as he and Rebel stopped at a nearby cafe. He sat down as a waiter approached him with a notepad in hand. "Aand what will you liek seh?" He spoke in a prench accent. "Can I just have a daffodil dandelion sandwich? And some hayfries for my dog please?" Asked Eagle as the waiter complied and wrote down his order. "Hang on a second. Do you know like, any hotels or apartments in the area I could crash at?" He asked the waiter as he scratched his chin. "Ahh I am sowwy seh, I think zat zere is no rooms for yu. Ah ahm terrwibly sawii seh." "It's okay, I'll figure out something." The waiter nodded as he left the two. He entered the kitchen as he gave the head chef the order. Minutes passed as Eagle and Rebel both awaited patiently, Rebel started to scratch his ears as Eagle tapped his fingers on the table. The waiter from previously soon returned with the two's food, the waiter placed Eagle's sandwich in front of him as he later placed the hay fries on the floor for the Rebel's enjoyment. "Zere yu arh, if yu need anysing else, do not be afwaid to ahsk." The waiter said as he walked away leaving Eagle and Rebel their meals to enjoy. Rebel dogged down on his meal as for Eagle, he levitated his sandwich and took bites one by one. "Its all right, not good, but not bad." Eagle criticized as he continued to eat his sandwich. He could hear the birds chirping and flying by as a little blue bird landed on his table. It was picking on the crumbs that had abandon Eagle's sandwich. Eagle smirked as he plucked a small chunk from his sandwich bread. He held the palm of his hand close to the bird as it leaped onto Eagle's palm and ate it's treat. Eagle brought the snacking bird closer to his face as he whistled, he whistled in a pattern and a rhythm causing bird started to chirp at him. "(Hey guy, do you know any nearby alleyways? Dark one's by any chance?)" Eagle asked through a whistle. "(Yes, there is one over there.)" The blue bird chirped as he pointed the tip of his wing towards a nearby alley, it was dark and between two buildings. "(Nopony ever goes in there.)" "(Thank you, now run along.)" Eagle concluded in a whistle as the blue bird gave a salute towards him and zoomed off with a few crumbs gripping from it's feet. Eagle stood up as he looked at Rebel who finished chowing down on his fries. "Hey buddy, c'mon. I think a certain bird helped us with a suitable home." He said as the husky stood up with a wagging tail and followed Eagle towards the nearby alleyway. They walked inside as they found empty boxes everywhere, small puddles of water, and a few old clothes. Eagle looked around the cobblestone floor thinking what to do, he nodded as he found and thought of several ideas of a new home. "Yea, this'll work." Eagle proclaimed as he hovered a box opening sideways as he placed a few old clothes inside making it comfortable. "Okay Rebel, you sleep here for now. I'm going out to find this town familiar. Okay?" The husky barked and nodded in agreement as he pranced inside his box and lied down closing his eyes into a slumber. Eagle walked outside from his alley as he stretched his arms and legs and walked back to the same cafe. He found the same waiter as he tapped him on the shoulder to grab his attention. "Hey, do you guys sell coffee here?" "Mah apoloegees suh, bit ah ahm afwraid we dun't. But ze place knun as Sugar cube cornaa sells cafe. Et iz jsut down ze street." The waiter said as he pointed at a house that looked like it was made of candy from a far away distance. "Thank you, or as you say, merci." Eagle improvised as he bowed at the waiter and left towards the candy building. He looked around the town, he found three foals all wearing the same red cape with an unusual symbol on it, almost as if it was a cutie mark. He continued as he arrived at the candy building, he walked in as- *clonk* Twilight walked out of her tree house as her little reptilian assistant followed her. They both walked down the roads of the town as she could see a light blue dot in the sky, it seemed to grow larger by the second. All of a sudden, a sonic wave of rainbow beams blasted as a cyan pegasus crashed onto her, making her tumble towards a nearby familiar apple cart as red fruit started to fly up and rain down as they clocked everypony near the crash. Twilight got up as she looked at rainbow with a frown that would put fear upon Celestia. "Heh heh, sorry there Twilight. I was just practicing some aerial combat just in case this stallion alicorn comes by!" Rainbow said as she flattened her palms and started to jab them in random places in the air. "Good thing I saw some of those Broof Lee movies! HIYAA!" Rainbow battle cried as she chopped down on a cloud. The purple unicorn face palmed as she raised a fist in the air. "Rainbow Dash! I told you, he only attacks to any crime there was. If you act like a threat, he will be a threat to us!" Twilight yelled as the rainbow pegasus groaned in annoyance. "Ughhhh.... fine Twilight, I'll chill out on the moves. But that doesn't mean that I'll lighten up on this alicorn." "Whatever. Spike and I was just about to get some breakfast, wanna come with us?" "Sure, lemme just-" "RB!!!" Yelled a southern cowmare voice as Rainbow flinched with fear. "How many times do ah have to tell ya! Don't crash on mah apple stand!!!" Both the mares turned to find a very steamy Applejack as small amounts of apple juice dripped off of her hat. "Ehehehe, sorry AJ." The cyan mare sheepishly apologized as the orange mare gave a sigh of frustration and wiped off the dirt on her shoulders and shins. "Ah alright, but I swear to Celestia if this happens one more time, you be working in my field fer a month." The cyan mare gave another annoyed groan as she rolled her eyes. "Fine. Hey AJ, we were just about to get something to eat, wanna come?" Offered Rainbow as Applejack scratched her chin. "Well, ah guess. Sure wah not?" The four walked down the roads of Ponyville as hey reached the candy made dinner. They walked inside as they were greeted by a Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie all there at the counter. Pinkie looked over to the three mares and the dragon as she beamed with glee and zoomed towards the four. "HIYA GUYS!" She yelped as she stood in front of them with a continues smile. "Hey Pinkie, can I have some breakfast? I'm starved." Asked Twilight as Pinkie stretched her arm out into the kitchen and pulled out a black box. "Uh... Pinkie, what did you just........never mind. What is this anyways? It's just a black box..." "A black box? *over exaggerated gasp* It's not just any box Twilight. I mean really I thought you were an egghead." Pinkie mocked as she pointed her face towards the upper corner causing Twilight to create a flat expression on her face."This is some sort of traditional lunch box meal called a bento. It stores an instant lunch inside this tiny box." Pinkie said as Twilight held the box with magic. "How do you open it?" "Like a box silly." Pinkie clarified with a stuck out tongue as she pulled out the top cover of the bento box revealing a gorgeous put together meal. There was a salad, sauce, pastries, and other goodies as Twilight's tongue started to flood with flavor lust. "This bento meal is from some other country called Neighon, they have really kawaii stuff there!" Pinkie screamed with glee as she fell back imagining all of the country. "What does Kawaii mean?" Asked the purple teenage dragon. "It means cute in their language." Pinkie clarified as Twilight started to eat the bento meal. After a few minutes of chatting and eating, everypony received a bento meal, each was different, in different meals, and styles. One had fish, another had veggies only, another had gems, another had candy, each bento box was different. "Yumm that was delicious Pinkie." Twilight complimented as the pink pufffy mare smiled back at her. "Thanks Twilight, I wanted to try something new, so here it is." Pinkie said as she started to hop to the front of her friends. She pulled out a poster as it revealed the country known as Neighon. It was a lonely island as it showed the flag in the upper right corner, it was just a white rectangle with a red circle in the middle. "This is Neighon, you see I was-" *buuuuuurrrrb* Everypony paused as they looked over to Spike with rude faces as he started to blush in embarrassment. "Eh heh heh, sorry. But I just got something for Twilight here." He said as he held up a scroll with the royal Canterlot symbol tied to it. Twilight levitated the later towards her as she unfolded it and read it. Dear Twilight, There is one last thing that awaits for you in your library. Think of it as a 'I'm sorry' gift from Luna and I, we hope that you will still forgive us for out childish acts when you were around.. -Your Teacher, Princess Celestia. "Huh, well then I guess it's time to head back home I guess." The lavender mare said as Spike groaned like a foal. "Oh don't be such a baby Spike, you're 15 and you shouldn't be acting like a baby." "But-" "No buts, we're going home. Sorry girls." She apologized as she started to walk out the door. All of a sudden, a brown stallion walked head first as the two both clocked foreheads as Twilight fell back on her hind. For the stallion, he fell back as his head rolled back making contact with the pink cement stairs. Twilight got up as she rushed towards the fallen stallion. "Omigosh, are you okay?" No response Twilight knelt down as she waved a hand in front of the stallion's face. "Hello?" Nothing Twilight lit up her horn as a horizontal line shun across the stallion's body. The line disappeared as it retreated back into Twilight's horn. "He's just got a small concussion, thank goodness, I thought I killed him." Twilight sighed in relief as she levitated the stallion on her back. "Change of plans Spike, you're gonna help me nurture this stallion." She said as the dragon saluted in loyalty. The lavender mare shimmered her horn as the three vanished, they appeared in the hollowed out tree as Twilight quickly placed the unconscious stallion onto her bed as she grabbed a book labeled, 10 ways to heal a minor concussion > Chapter 5: Recovery > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 5 Recovery Eagle could hear a few birds chittering and chattering, but he could also hear voices chatting near him. He slowly creaked open his eyes to see a purple pony and a small purple creature thing, but they were just blobs. He started to argue with his eyes as they became more open and clearer. They were full open as he could see a purple unicorn mare, and a small purple dragon. "What the fuck?" He mumbled to himself as he saw the purple dragon. The two figures turned around to find him awake. "Oh good you're awake." The unicorn said as she approached with a sandwich and a glass of orange juice. "Here, you need some strength." "Naw it's alright, I already ate. By the way, who are you? And how did I get here?" "Well, my name is Twilight Sparkle and this is Spike." "Sup!" Greeted the teenage dragon. The stallion waved his hand in greet as the purple unicorn cleared her throat. "I accidentally bumped into you and your head hit the concrete of Sugar Cube Corner knocking you out." She explained with a sheepish grin and a blush on her face. "I took you here to my house and cared for you, I hope you don't mind but I took your clothes and washed them for you." She said as she brought out the stallion's dark brown clothes. He levitated his clothes as they disappeared and reappeared zipped and strapped to the stallion's body. "How'd you do that?" asked the dragon "Quick strap spell, puts on the clothes for me." He answered as he got up from his bed and stretched. "Well, thanks for the service but I gotta go." "Why so soon? I need to repay my mistake for-" "Listen Twilight Sparky," "Sparkle." She corrected in a flat tone. "Twilight Sparkle, I need to go I don't want to intrude on your studies." "Wait, how do you know I'm studying?" "Hmmm let's see here, you live with a crap ton of books, I see papers with notes everywhere, and empty tea boxes. I'm pretty sure that you are a major book worm, or you're just plain crazy." He said with a chuckle as the purple unicorn created a flat face. "But anyways, I'd love to stay and chat, but I need to do something important." He said as his horn shimmered. "Ta ta." "Wait!" In an instance, the brown unicorn was gone, leaving only a brown and white feather behind. Twilight walked over to the feather as she picked it up and examined it. "I don't know, but something about that unicorn intrigues me." She said with squinted eyes as the dragon created a mischievous smirk across his face. "What, you got a crush on him or something?" He asked in a smirk as the lavender unicorn flared up like a rose and quickly shook her head. "What!? N-NO! I don't have a crush on him!" She yelled as the dragon bawled in laughter. "Hah, I give her a month." He muttered to himself in a mischievous tone as he walked into his room. Eagle appeared inside the dark alley he had been in, he found Rebel still sleeping peacefully inside it's cozy little box as Eagle chuckled at him. He walked up towards the husky as his ears perked up and his head rising with a tail wagging with glee. He ran towards his master as he pounced him down slobbering his face in happy drool. "Ugh, good to see you to boy." Eagle stood up as he pulled out a blue gem from his pocket. "Now how does this thing work again?" He questioned himself as Rebel cocked his head to the side. Eagle reached into his pocket as he pulled out a cell phone, he typed in the numbers 843-3628-670, it started to ring as Eagle quickly set it to speaker and sat down against the wall next to Rebel. *Krqk* Hello? "Hey, how's it goin?" I'm doing great Eagle, but you do know this put's both of us in jeopardy, right? "Yea I know, but I just wanna ask a quick question." Shoot. "How does that Home Gem work?" Easy, just slam it on the ground and a blue door should appear, after that, bam y'got yourself a new spacey room. "Okay cool, thanks." Take care of yourself out there. "I will." *BEEP* Eagle reached gripped tightly on his gem as he slammed it on the floor. A bright blue flash appeared as Rebel pulled back and whimpered in fear. The flash dispersed as a blue door was standing in front of the two. Eagle walked towards the door as he turned the knob, he opened the door to reveal a whole room filled with other rooms as if it were a house. "What the fuck?" He quickly walked back outside as he looked behind the door to find nothing but space, he felt behind it, but still felt nothing. "What the moon is this crap?" He walked back inside as he suddenly found himself in a fully furnished living room. He walked around the weird home as he found a fully furnished kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, library, and a swimming pool. "Even a swimming pool? Man I owe you so much." He thanked in heart as he walked in his bedroom to find a closet, he opened it to find a massive wardrobe full of designs and clothes. He walked around the aisles of clothing as he found a pair of swimming trunks, he picked that as well as a towel as he walked back inside the pool. He took off his clothes as he applied his swimming trunks as he jumped in the pool, he could feel the cold water bath him with chill as he could smell the chlorine from the chemical water. "Ahhhh, good to be in a pool again." He said as his dog ran inside and jumped in the pool. Rebel started to doggy paddle himself around the pool as he soon got out and shook himself violently letting the water on his coat slather all over the walls, and Eagle's face. "Dammit Rebel." He said in a chuckle as he dove inside the deep chemical polluted water. He reappeared to the surface as he lied back against the edge of the pool. He laid back and relaxed as he closed his eyes. Back at the library, Twilight sat on her bed as a million thoughts ran around her like a marathon. She lied down on her bed as her eyes slowly began to descend. "Twilight?" The unicorn looked over to find her assistant with a cardboard box. "I think you forgot the reason why we came to the library. The princess sent you a advance spell book. They said you could practice that invisibility spell all you want now." Twilight quickly took the spell book as she read it through like a lightning bolt leaving an unimpressed dragon walking away. "Jeez, I think that she already forgave the princesses." The unicorn student read it over again and again as she walked downstairs with the book, she read it through one last time as she shimmered her horn. A small flash ran through the three as the lavender unicorn looked around to find no burn patches, or anything destroyed. "Did it work?" She asked to herself in whisper she walked over to the mirror. She could see....nothing, nothing was in the mirror. She quickly looked at her own hands to find that they had disappeared as well. A knocking came from her door as she walked over and opened it, to find a rainbow maned pegasus. "Hi Rainbow." She greeted only leaving the cyan mare confused. "Uhhh, Twilight? You there?" Rainbow asked as she flew inside only to meet face to face with an invisible object. She fell to the floor as she could feel something on top of her. "What the hay?" "Umm Rainbow, you're on top of me..." Twilight said as she and the cyan mare flared up. Rainbow Dash quickly flew up as she blushed deeply. "Sorry, I tested an invisible spell and apparently, I'm invisible." She deadpanned as she face palmed in humiliation. "Oh sorry Twilight. Wait, you said you're invisible? That's...so...AWESOME!!!" The cyan mare admired as the lavender unicorn grabbed the spell book and read it over. "The spell book said this should last for about an hour." "Oo oo oo oo oo, do it to me!" ... Is what the unicorn mare thought as she face palmed with an disappointed expression. It was night, the stars shimmered as the rain fell on top of a small traveling family. "Momma, where am I going?" "You're going to go visit your aunties, they're going to teach you magic." The alicorn colt gasped with disbelief as he beamed with glee. "YES!" He screamed as his hood and cape fell over revealing his horn and wings as he started to jump around. His parents quickly pulled him down and placed his hood and cape over his back and head. "Son please, keep your hood and cape before we get to the castle." "But why daddy? I want to try and fly." "I know son, but right now....we think that you could try and not fly for a little bit, just until auntie teaches you." The small family reached the marble castle in the forest as they were soon greeted with two alicorns of opposite colors. "Well this is it, your new school." The mother said as she started to cry like rain drops falling from the sky. The father put a hand on her wife's shoulder as he grabbed his son's hand. "C'mon, I'll take you to your auntie son." The two walked over to the princesses as the father slowly released his grip from his son. He knelt down as he gave a long and passionate embrace towards his son. "I love you son." "Um... I love you too daddy." The colt repeated in a confused tone. He let go of the hug as he walked over to his aunts as they both smiled at him in love. "Hi auntie Celly, auntie Luna!" He beamed as the white alicorn took the colt inside the palace as the navy blue alicorn stayed outside. She walked towards the weeping as they continue to bawl in depression. "Do not worry, we will take care of this child." "Thank you cousin, please, if you can. Make him forget about us." The mother pleaded as the alicorn placed a hand on her shoulder. "We will try..." Eagle woke up in a cold sweat as he still found himself inside the swimming pool. He got out to find some of his skin shriveled like flower, he slowly walked inside his bedroom. He took off his trunks as he quickly zapped on his pants with his magic and jumped on his bed. He looked straight at the ceiling thinking of what has happened today. Ugh.. I can't believe that she is here! Who? The mare I saved! She lives in this town. Oh yea her. Well at least she doesn't recognize you. True, I hope she doesn't. I should probably lay low for a while. Maybe you can hang out with her. You fucking kidding me? Whaaat? She sounds nice, plus she loves magic too, I mean, did'ja see all of those books she reads? I bet halva em are spell books. Maybe, let's just wait and see. The brown unicorn concluded with himself as he close his eyes and fell to sleep. > Chapter 6: Take Two > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 6: Take Two Eagle woke up to the sound of a constant barking. He got up from his bed as he zapped his dark brown clothes on him, he walked out of his room to find his dog whimpering with misery at him. "What's wrong buddy?" The husky barked as he pointed his snout towards his stomach area, a small rumble came from his belly as Eagle's stomach followed. "Heh heh, guess it's time for breakfast. Let's see if we can't find you some chow, hopefully some dog chow." Eagle said as Rebel barked in tasty agreement. The two walked out of their roomy home as they walked side by side, he stopped as he looked around. He placed a leash around the husky's neck as he whimpered in embarrassment. "Rebel stick with me, we don't want anypony mistaking you for a wolf." The husky nodded as he stoke close to his master. The pair walked around town as they spotted a nearby stand full of apples and apple baked goodies. "Hmmm, Rebel want some apple chow?" His K9 nodded in tasteful agreement as they approached the orange earth pony mare nearby the stand. "Well howdy, you look new in town." She asked with a smile as she checked the stallion knowing he wasn't from here. "Yea, I just moved here yesterday, I was wondering if I could buyyyy-" He paused as he looked at the apple based products. He spotted a single apple pie as Rebel barked at the pie. ",two slices of that pie." "Sure!" She said as she sliced up two slices of the pie, she placed them on plastic plates as she handed one with a fork towards Eagle, and placed one on the ground in front of the husky. "Well that's one fine dog, wut is he?" "This is Rebel, he's a Saddleberian husky." Eagle introduced as Rebel wagged his tail and barked in greet at the mare. "Wah that's neat, Ah have a dog mahself. Her name is Winona and she's one of 'em herd'in dogs." "Cool, maybe these two can have some sort of play date sometime. Also, do you know where I can find some proper dog food, K9 dog food specifically?" He asked with a raised eyebrow as the orange mare scratched her chin. "Well, ah personally get mah food from mah friend Fluttershy, but ah don't know where she gits it. Maybe you can ask her." "Well where can I find this Fluttershy?" "She lives just around the outskirts of town, she lives in a cottage that's surrounded bah animals. Ya can't miss it." The brown stallion bowed in thanks as him and his dog started to walk away from the apple stand, but he paused as he looked back at the orange mare. "Thank you miss?" "M'name's Applejack." She said as she spat on her hand and put it out in front of Eagle. Eagle shrugged as he placed his palm on the saliva drenched hand. "Eagle, Eagle Eye." He introduced as the two left the orange mare to her work. They started to walk around, looking at many things that could swipe their eyes, fortunately for Eagle, nothing could steal his eyes. He continued to follow the according sighs that led to the outskirts of the town, he followed the dirt path leading towards a forest. He continued to follow the path until he was met with a cottage surrounded by other animals, from small ones to big ones, all animals of sorts. Rebel started to snarl at the smaller animals as Eagle tapped his finger on his head causing him to whimper. "No Rebel, they aren't lunch." He said with a cold tone as they walked up to the front door, he knocked on the door as he awaited patiently for the animal lover to come out. "You think she's home?" He asked his dog as Rebel tilted his head in shrug. The two continued to wait as Eagle walked over to the window to take a peak. He could see a yellow pegasus hiding behind a flipped table with a rabbit, the rabbit had a knife and a small spoon helmet. He tapped on the glass to get the two's attention, the pegasus hid her presence behind the table as the rabbit stuck his fork at Eagle. "Uhhhh Fluttershy? I was sent here by Applejack. I need help with a dog of mine." Instantly, she sprung out of her hiding spot with a beaming smile and opened the door, unfortunately the wood slammed right into the stallion's face causing him to fall into a bush. "Ow..." "Oh my goodness, I love you dog!" She chimed ignoring the injured stallion as Eagle got to his feet and raised an eyebrow at the pegasus. "Y-Yea, his name is Rebel." "Oh you are so cute!" She admired as she nuzzled her muzzle against the husky's forehead her licked her face is glee. The pegasus giggled as Rebel laid down on his back as the yellow pegasus rubbed her hand on his belly, causing Rebel to stretch in comfort. "Ummmm...." Eagle said with a confused tone. "Can I ask for some assistance....please?" He pleaded as the yellow pegasus quickly blushed brightly and got to her feet. "Oh...um... I'm sorry, I just..." 'It's okay. My name is Eagle Eye." "Oh, My name is Fluttershy" "What?" "Fluttershy." "Say it again?" "FLUTTERSHY!" She yelped as she blushed brightly. "Oh well good to meet ya Fluttershy, I was wondering if you had any dog food for my K-9 here." The timid pegasus started to scratch her chin as an idea popped on top of her head. "I think I do, come in, come in, along with your husky too." She greeted as the two walked inside the animal cottage. eagle could see multiple birds, mice, squirrels, and rabbits. "Wow, that's a lot of animals." He complimented as the timid pegasus blushed at the compliment. "T-Thank you. I do love animals, especially small ones like Angel over here." She said as she pointed at the overprotective rabbit on top of her head. The two walked downstairs into a subterranean basement filled with bags full of feed and food for animals. The yellow pegasus flew up towards the top of a shelf as she grabbed a large bag full of feed, there was a picture of a germane shepherd on it. The pegasus handed Eagle the bag as Rebel started to sniff the bag and started to wagged his tail and bark in hunger. "You like this boy?" Eagle asked as Rebel nodded in agreement. Eagle took the bag as he levitated over his head. "Thanks Fluttershy, you really saved my dog. You're a natural with animals." Eagle complimented causing the yellow pegasus to blush. "Oh... it's nothing, it's just my special talent." "Well your special talent is probably the best on I've seen in a while." Eagle said with a heavy sigh as he exited the cottage. "Goodbye Fluttershy, it was nice meeting you." "Um...you too....Eagle. Goodbye Rebel!" She chimed at the last as Rebel barked in farewell as the two walked down the dirt path towards Ponyville. As they walked Eagle noticed something strange, his head could feel heavy but light at the same time. Rebel barked as he pointed his snout at the top of Eagle's head. "What is it boy?" Rebel continued to bark at the top of his head as Eagle looked up. He could see a pink curly mane tangling on the top of his head, he levitated the mane and pulled it away from his face revealing a pink earth pony mare with a curly magenta mane and tail. "Um...Hello?" "HI I'M PINKIE PIE AND WHO ARE YOU!? YOU LOOK NEW IN TOWN!" She beamed in glee as she started to bounce up and down in front of Eagle. "Um... Eagle Eye, and this is my dog Rebel." "Aww he is sooooooo CUTE!!!" Pinkie chimed as she scratched behind Rebel's ear making him kick in delight. "And your new in town!? KEWL, we should totaly have a 'Welcome to Ponyville party' in Ponyville and you MUST come!!!" She demanded as Eagle started to sweat a single drop in confusion. This is possibly the weirdest mare I've seen in my entire life. Eagle thought in his head as he shrugged. "Aight, sure why not? Where's this party gonna be at?" "At Sugar Cube Corner! It's where you bonked your head." She said with a stuck out tongue as Eagle remembered that moment. "Oh yea, that was funny heh heh..." " *Giggle* Yup, see ya there! It's at 9 tonight!" She said in farewell as she zoomed off only leaving a scale model of the mare in pink smoke. "What the fuck was that?" He asked himself as Rebel tilted his head in confusion. Eagle looked at his phone which told the time of 5 o'clock. "Alright so we got about 4 hours, guess I could ..." Eagel zoned off as he saw a massive tree like home with a sign which was labeled, 'Golden Oak Library'. "Library huh? I guess I could do some reading to pass the time." He stopped and looked at Rebel who tilted his head in question. "I hope they allow you inside boy." He said as the two walked towards the library and opened the door. Eagle stopped as his eyes widened at a familiar lavender mare. "Hello, welcome to-" She stopped as her eyes widened at her customer. "It's you." She started. "You're the one who I bumped in to." She stated as Eagle face palmed. "Yea, I know who you are." Just in a different way. "You're that lavender mare that treated me. Thanks by the way." He complimented as the lavender mare smiled. "I'm sorry I left so soon, I was worried 'bout my dog here." He said as the husky barked at the mare in greet causing the librarian to flinch in terror. "Ahh!" "Easy, easy. He's just saying 'hi'. " He informed to the nervous librarian as she calmed down and wiped off any bumps. She reached out her hand towards the husky as it licked her hand turning her face into disgust. The brown stallion chuckled as he looked at the mare wiped the dog saliva off her hand. "Heh, well that's his way of trust." "Y-yeaa..." She agreed in disgust. "Soo uh.. welcome to Golden Oaks library. How may I help you?" She chimed back at the brown stallion customer as he scratched his chin and walked around examining any book he saw. A navy blue book caught his eye as he levitated it over to his eyes. Master Spell Book Written by Starswirl The Bearded May only be read by unicorns with elderly years of magic Eagle caught the last line to be interesting as he smirked at it. The mare cocked an eyebrow in confusion as the stallion brought the book towards her for checkout, her eyes widened at his selection as he jaw dropped and hit the floor. "This!? Even I don't know a single spell from this book!?" She exclaimed in shock as she glared at the brown unicorn. "What are you up to!?" The brown stallion raised an eyebrow in confusion as he shrugged. "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just here to practice and magic, and maybe take a crack at this book again." He said with a chuckle as the lavender mare continued to give a confused look at him. "Don't believe I can do this? Come." He simply said as he took the book and walked outside with the lavender mare following. He flipped to a random page as he found a spell he smirked at. He close the book at the dropped it on the ground causing the mare to burst in agner. "Hey, that was straight from the castle!!!" She spat at the stallion as he ignored the lavender mare and shimmered his horn. His back started to shimmer as a object appeared attached to his back, a tomahawk with a red edged blade appeared as he gripped his blade and brought it out. It started to flame as he threw his tomahawk in the air and shot a bolt of magic at the red flaming hatchet. It then duplicated into multiple different blades as they started to spin and fall down on the two of them causing the unicorn to place a magic shield over her head. "That only works once." The brown stallion warned as a multiplied tomahawk flew down and slammed onto the mare's force field as it bounced off the magical surface shattering the shield like glass as the unicorn mare screamed in pain and fell to the floor. "Told ya." He said with a cocky smile as the lavender unicorn looked up to see a tomahawk spinning down towards her. Her eyes widened with shock as she could feel herself paralyzed in fear. The hatchet came closer to her face that she closed her eyes in fate. "Ugh, really? Wow." The stallion complained as he faced his palm towards the mare summoning a bubble force field around her simply causing the tomahawk to bounce off his shield protecting the mare. The lavender unicorn open her eyes as she quickly looked down on, she could still see the ground and her hands still intact. She looked around to find herself in a tan colored bubble shield summoned by the stallion. The raining fire had concluded as Eagle released the librarian from his protection. "And there's the cloning spell, still easy as ever." He said with a smirk as he picked up the book and blew off any dirt. "Sorry 'bout the book, didn't know you loved them." He said as the librarian remained shocked with amazement. "You okay?" ... "Hello?" He asked as the mare fell to her knees still in shock. ... The stallion scratched his chin as a light bulb shun over his head. He levitated the book over to the mare as he pulled out a lighter. He sparked the flint as a small flame waved above the lighter, he brought it close to the book as the lavender mare snapped back into reality and swiped the book away. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? THIS IS STRAIGHT FROM CANTERLOT'S LIBRARY!!!" She spat out as her face turned sour, she glared at the stallion who remained confused. "From Canterlot? *pffft* I knew waaay better books then those." He said with a smug grin as the mare's face continued to lemon. "Anyways, thanks for the book but I gotta go. Rebel needs to eat his chow." He said as he pointed at his dog. The two started to leave the mare's sight as she screamed in pause. "Wait!" The stallion paused his steps as he turned to the mare in annoyance. "What?" "W-Who are you?" "Just call me Eagle Eye. Oh and..." The mare flipped an ear up in confusion. "I know you're going to ask me to teach you that spell and all, but here's my answer. Maybe, depends what level you are." "I-I am level eight in magic." "Hmm, you might be qualified, normally a level 10 is preferred. But you seemed fond of magic, so I'll help." "Wait, h-how did you know I wanted to learn." The mare asked as Eagle started to chuckle and grin with joke. "Trust me, I knew many, many ponies like you." A small silence fell over the two as the stallion broke the silence. "Welp, Nice to meet you miss..." He paused for the mare to conclude as he put out his hand at the fallen mare. "S-Sparkle. T-Twilight Sparkle." She finished as she gripped his hand being pull back on her feet by the stallion. "Well nice ta meet ya Miss Sparkle, Well I better going, I'm tired, sleepy, and Rebel here still needs ta eat. So I'ma go take a nap." "W-Where do you live?" "Somewhere." He answered with a simple tone and a smirk as he soon disappeared in a blink of an eye in front of the mare. She was soon joined by a cyan mare with a rainbow mane who flew towards the mare with a smile. "Twilight Guess wha-, woh, what's with you?" The cyan mare asked as she looked at the shocked and stressed unicorn. Her hair with stringy and tingy, while her clothes were partially soaked from sweaty fear. "You look like you've just seen Nightmare Moon." The pegasus said as Twilight continued to stay petrified. "I-I- I just..." She said as small pink patch invaded her fur. "C'mon Twilight, let's get you inside, you can explain once you've calmed down." The pegasus recommended as Twilight knoded in agreement. She brought the purple unicorn inside the hollowed out home as a dark hooded figure was standing atop a rooftop at a nearby building. "Looks like I've made a slight discovery." > Chapter 7: Party > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 7: Party Eagle walked down the road with Rebel after the small magical chaos he had created. Seriously, that was chaotic. They arrived at their home as Eagle grabbed a bowl from the kitchen as he poured some dog food for Rebel to engulf. As Rebel started to dog down on his food, Eagle took a nearby book and started to read. They continued to do their activities as Eagle looked through his door to see Celestia's sun started to sink inside a field, he looked at his phone to see the time was 8:45. "C'mon boy, let's go to the party." Eagle said to his husky as Rebel barked and wagged his tail in happy agreement. Eagle placed his weapons on his back and flashed them gone as the two walked out and through the small town as they were rudely interrupted as Eagle could hear a distinctive loud warning. "Look oooooouuuuuuuuttt!!!!" Eagle flinched around as he could see a nearing cyan blue pegasus bolting through the town. Eagle tried to move away from the pegasus but reacted too late as he could feel himself and the pegasus both tumbling and rolling gathering dirt and bugs. The barrel rolling stopped as they both lied on the ground, multiple ponies surrounded the two downed ponies as Rebel came whistling through the crowd. He trotted towards his master as he started to sniff his face. The husky started to pat his paw on Eagle face making a 'wake up' expression. He started to lick Eagle face, lathering it with dog slobber and spit as Eagle woke up. He sat up as he could feel the husky's drool slathered all across his face, he hissed in disgust as he whipped away the drool with his hand. "Damn Rebel, why ya gotta do that?" He asked as the husky gave a simple bark at Eagle making him unimpressed. Eagle looked over to the pegasus who toppled over him as his eyes widened. She was a pegasus with a sky cyan coat and a mane and tail with colors of the rainbow. Oh crap, is that her? Eagle stood up as he put a hand out towards the mare. "Need some help?" He asked hiding his surprised emotion. The pegasus hissed in pain as she opened her eyes to see a brown unicorn stallion putting a hand a hand out for aid. The mare frowned as she swatted away the hand and flew up straight. "I don't need your help." She said in a tough tone as Eagle raised an eyebrow. "Ooooohhhkay." He simply said. "Well, just watch out next time." He advised to the pegasus as Eagle simply walked away from her with Rebel by his side. Eagle reached Sugar Cube Corner as he could feel a slight tapping on his shoulder. He knew who was tapping his shoulder, and he knew what she was going to ask. Eagle turned around with hidden annoyance as he could see nopony there, he raised an eyebrow to find that the pegasus was airborne and started to tap his head. A small patch of red struck Eagle's forehead as he started to loose it. "You the new one?" Eagle let out a heavy sigh of nirvana as he faced the mare. "Yea, moved in yesterday." "Hey I know you." She admired as Eagle's eyes shrunk but frowned in worry. "You're that one pony Twilight bumped into. You okay man?" "Yea, I've had worse. Well my name Eagle Eye, you?" "Rainbow Dash! Best flier of all of Equestria!" The mare said as she flew up in the are with a massive cocky grin and tone. "Well nice to meet you Rainbow, but I gotta go to Sugar Cube Corner." Eagle said as he started to walk towards the bakery. Inside the window, a orange mare kept waving her hands and pointing her fingers at the pegasus. The cyan pegasus quickly rained sweat as she looked around for a diversion, she saw the dog next to Eagle as a light bulb flashed above her head. The pegasus flew over to the husky as it stopped causing it's master to stop. "What are you doing?" Eagle asked as he noticed the pegasus mare started to scratch the top of Rebel's head causing him to lay down on his stomach. "Just petting your dog." "Well can you stop? I'm going to be late for this party I was invited to." He said pointing his thumb at the bakery store. He stopped as he looked over to the window to find an orange mare quickly zoom off Eagle's sight. Eagle connected the dots as he stared into the mare's eyes with annoyance. "I see what you're trying to do." "W-What do you mean?" The mare asked as bullets of sweat rained from her forehead. She knew she was done for, this stallion was ferry keen in sense. "You're trying to distract me from party aren't you? If that's the note then you should have just told me." He said with a simple tone as Rainbow Dash face palmed. "Are you serious! I mean I literally had to crash into you!" She yelled in annoyance at Eagle as he felt annoyed and wanted to keep flat like cardboard. But he lied and cringed back in fake fear in order to keep balance. He knew that if he didn't hold back, he would be feared among the town and would create a name, he just wanted to peace and quiet. "S-Sorry, jeez just calm the hay down." he lied through a fake expression as Rainbow grunted and pointed her face away. "Alright, just wait outside for like 5 minutes, the party should start soo-" "HIYA EAGLE!!!" "GYAA!!!!" The two screamed through shock as they could see Pinkie Pie right in front of their faces. The pink mare giggled as she grasped Eagle's whole arm and started to pull him towards the bakery. "C'mon you two, let's PARTY!!!!" The sugar pink pony exclaimed as she dragged Eagle inside the bakery. In there, balloons, confetti, and food rained down on the party as they partied hard. The music wubbed and dubbed as Eagle bounced his body with the music. He was offered a few drinks from Applejack, including a shot glass filled with red liquid, he easily intoxicated himself but still stood with minor consciousness. Then a certain song spun as Eagle felt a touch on his shoulder. He turned to find a blue turquoises mare with a pink peachy mane and tail smiling at him. "Wanna dance?" She asked as Eagle smiled at the mare. "Yea sure, why not?" The mare 'eed' as she dragged Eagle to the middle of the dance floor. The two started to move to the beat as they moved their bodies to the rhythm. "So what's your name?" "Lotus, you?" "Just call me Eagle." The two continued to dance as they broke out their sweat. Lotus then grabbed Eagle's whole arm as she dragged him towards the couch, the two sat down as she raised her hand towards Pinkie Pie who nodded at her. "So Lotus, what do you do in Ponyville?" "Oh, my sister and I own the local spa in Ponyville." "Really? That's interesting." "Yes, it's quite the job." Pinkie Pie returned with a silver platter with two drinks, both bright green liquid with icy fog appearing from them. Lotus smiled as she took both glasses and handed one towards Eagle. He took the glass and examined the liquid with a squinted set of lids as he simply placed the lid down and slightly frowned with disappointment. "Sorry, but I think I've had a little bit too much." He said as he noticed that Lotus was knocked out, she laid unconscious from the liquid she had just consumed. "Hey pinkie, what was in that?" "Oooooooo noooothing, just some super intoxicating stuff aged with perfection, and superly chilly iced to perfection! It's my secret stash of my super secret, "Bazai Blast!!!", and it's totally one to die for." She said with a 'squee' as she bounced away from Eagle's sight. He eyeballed at the unconscious mare as he gave a heavy sigh. Oh just help her already! But she's pretty much dead. Just help her already! I mean remember what happened to- Don't, go there. Then just help her. Ugh fine! Eagle looked around to find the town's ponies still in the hip of the party. He reached inside the mare's pocket and pulled out her wallet, he opened it and looked at the address as he closed it and put it back in her pocket. He picked up the mare and carried her over his shoulders, he called over to Rebel as he trotted next to Eagle as they walked out of the party, hoping to be unnoticed. As they walked out of the bakery, he noticed a tap on his shoulder, he turned to see Twilight Sparkle having a confused look on her face. "Hey where are you going? There's still a party out here." She reminded with a smile as Eagle returned the expression. "Yea I know, but this pony looks dead to me." "Oh you mean Lotus?" She asked as Twilight pointed at the unconscious mare. "She'll be fine, she's had worse. I mean what did she drink?" "What was it? Pinkie's so called "Bazai Blast"." He quoted as Twilight's hair frisked up in shock. "Wait what? Oh no, we gotta get her home straight away. Here I'll come with you, I know where she lives, and I think her sister is home so she'll take care of the rest." Twilight said with Eagle nodding as the three made their way towards Lotus' house. "So Eagle, where did you move from?" "I moved here from Canterlot." "Canterlot? Why here? I mean Canterlot is a great and majestic place." "Yea, I mean don't get me wrong, Canterlot is nice but, I think I'd rather have a nice place to rest with the grass against my coat and along with my dog rolling in it, with fresh farm grown food and nice ponies to talk to. No more snobs and and rich asses to say "Oh you welp, I'm richer that you are", or when they say "Oh, have you seen the latest croquet game?" or something, you know what I mean?" He asked as he imitated a rich like accent causing the lavender unicorn to giggle. "Yea I guess, by the way, don't you have a job yet?" "Well not yet, I'm still looking for one." "Oh well maybe you can help me? I need a personal 'delivery boy'." Eagle's face turned flat as he stared at the mare with a flat expression. "Okay I'm not some sort of child." "N-No I mean." Twilight cleared her throat. "I mean I need someone to deliver books to ponies when they order one. I get some mailed orders from other ponies for books they want to read. I just need you to deliver and/or pick up any rented books I may have given." Twilight explained as she rained sweat from her head. "I mean I would have my assistant Spike do it, but he's just a baby dragon, and he does a lot of work for me already, so um if you could..." She trailed off, having nothing else to say hoping for Eagle to accept. Eagle placed a checked shape hand on his hand as he thought about it. Being jobless in Ponyville wouldn't make a right image, and it's not hard or too easy. Plus it could be a good way to explore around the town, hoping to uncover any secret. But he wasn't sure. "Ehhhhhhh, gimme some time to think about." He said as Twilight nodded. The two reached an apartment building as they entered an elevator, Twilight hit a floor button as they waited with the music. "So Twilight, you work at the library right?" She nodded. "So how many books have you read so far?" Twilight was shocked, she never knew this stallion was so keen and smart. "W-What? How do you know I read so many books?" "Well it's almost obvious. You're a young unicorn surrounded by books, and not just books, but arcanic knowledge." He said as Twilight began to blush at Eagle's kind workds. "O-Oh, um, thank you." Twilight said trying to hide her blush from Eagle. The three both arrived at the apartment room as Eagle knocked on the door. The door opened revealing a mare very similar to Lotus, but with opposite colors. "Um, excuse me are you Lotus' sister?" "Oui, I am Aloe." (French: Yes) "Oh so you speak prench. *ahem* Je ne crois que ce qui vous appartient." (I do believe this belongs to you.) Eagle said as he pointed at the drunken dead Lotus. "Mon Celestia Lotus, encore une fois?" My Celestia Lotus, again!? Aloe said with shock and small anger as Eagle handed Lotus to Aloe. "Thank you, and I am sorry for the trouble monsieur?" (Mister?) Aloe dazed off asking for the stallion's name. "Eagle Eye, and soyez le bienvenu." (You're welcome) He said with a bow as Aloe closed the door. The three started to make their way down through the elevator as they reach the ground. The walked outside as Eagle tapped Twilight on the shoulder causing her to create a small blush. "Hey Twilight, I've been thinking, and I think I'll take upon that job you offered." He said causing the lavender unicorn to smile as she embraced the brown stallion causing them to both blush. Twilight quickly ejected herself from the hug as she began to blush brightly. "O-Oh Um, I'm sorry." "It's okay, so when do I start?" "Just come by the library tomorrow at 9am and I'll give you some basic orders." Twilight said as Eagle nodded and called Rebel to go home. Eagle reached his alleyway and opened his door to his massive mysterious home. He took off his clothes, placed his weapons on the couch and laid on the bed feeling slightly drunk, but soon dozed off and fell asleep as the alcohol started to hit his brain. > Chapter 8: Interview [Reedited] > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 8: Interview Eagle woke up, but he didn't want to, he could hear Rebel barking in his ear, it was louder than usual. He turned to find Rebel licking his face and barking in front of it. He placed his hands over his ears to shield the painful sound of Rebel's bark. "ARGGHHH! Damn Rebel, tune it down a bit will ya!?" Eagle hissed at his dog as he pulled his sheet over his head blinding himself from Rebel's constant barking. Rebel huffed as he grabbed his clock with his mouth and spat it at Eagle's face. "Arg! Rebel what the fuck man!?" Eagle hissed in pain as he looked at the time. 8:45 ... ... ... ... "Oh.............. shit." Eagle said with shock as he sprung his head up only to feel a massive shock of pain course within his head. "ARGG!! GAH FUCK!" Eagle yelled in pain as he held his head for balance. Dammit, how am my suppose to get rid of this ass hangover? And how the hell and I gonna survive my interview!? He thought as he slowly stood and slumped to the bathroom, he looked at the mirror only to find a 5 o'clock shadow blanket across his chin. He huffed to himself as he reached in the drawer to find a razor and shaving cream, he applied the cream to his facial hairs as they were soon sliced by his razor. "There, clean as a whistle." Eagle teleported himself at the front door to only find Rebel scratching his front paw and whimpering in sadness. "What's wrong boy, you don't wanna stay here by yourself?" His husky nodded. Hmmm, I wonder........ Fluttershy was in her home as she placed that small fields of animal feed, her little bunnies, birdies, and rats all enjoyed their small feast of feed as Fluttershy couldn't help but smile at her small animals. She felt a tap on her shoulder to find a bear pointing at his open mouth. "Okay Barry, here you are." She reached into a basket as she pulled out a red fish. "A nice juicy salmon." Fluttershy said as she tossed it in the air causing her bear to munch it in mid air. Fluttershy stated to pat his head as the bear smile while enjoying his fish. Fluttershy stop feeding his animals as she could hear a knock at her door, she flew over to the door and opened it to find Eagle and Rebel. "Oh hello Eagle, how can I help you?" She asked feeling a slight tad nervous. "Hello Fluttershy, is it okay if you could babysit Rebel? I can't leave him alone and I think it's about time he makes some new friends." Fluttershy gasped in excitement as she sprung over to Rebel and cuddled with the husky. "Awwwww who's the cute little doggie!" Fluttershy 'squeed' as she started to rub her hand on Rebels stomach making his leg kick rapidly. But she looked over to Eagle with a look of concern. "Wait, Rebel is a canine right? He needs meat, waht if he goes for my creatures?" "Don't worry Fluttershy, just give Rebel some chow and let him run around for a few hours, he won't need to feed on your animals. Won't you boy?" Eagle asked as he gave a small glare at Rebel as he nodded. "Good." "Oh well good. C'mon Rebel, that's a good boy." Fluttershy called as Rebel quickly sprinted inside the house as multiple animals greeted him, except a white rabbit who held a butter knife and wore a pot over his head like a helmet. The husky walked over and stood dead on in front of the rabbit who rained sweat and dropped his weapon in fear. Rebel squinted his eyes as the rabbit feared for the worse. "Um.. Rebel, can you not-" But Fluttershy stopped as Rebel started to lick the rabbit in greet, barked at him, and smiled at him as he wagged his tail leaving the rabbit to shrivel in disgust. "Good boy." Eagle said as he said his goodbyes and teleported in front of Twilight's library. He aimed at the time on his phone to find that the time was 8: 57 AM, Eagle quickly whipped off any remained dust from his clothes as he walked up to the door and knocked. "Eagle is that you?" A familiar voice yelled from the inside, Eagle knew it was Twilight. "Uhhhh yea! Can I come in?" "Uhhh, just hang on a sec. I just need to- UWAAHHH!!!" Twilight was interrupted as she screamed. Eagle took action as he stood a few centimeters from the door, raised his right foot, and slammed it against the door breaking the hinges to find Twilight on the floor with a pile of books toppled on top of her. Eagle couldn't help but chuckle at the mare as he levitated the books onto the nearby shelves while Twilight Sparkle stood up from her mess and gave a sheepish grin. "Eh heh, thanks. Sorry I was kinda holding too many books with my magic and Spike kinda uh.... interrupted me." She said as she pointed at a small pile of books which popped open revealing the teenage dragon groaning in pain. "Sorry Spike, but you know what happens." "Yea yea yea." The purple dragon mumbled as he stood up and looked at Eagle. "Hey it's you uh....... I forgot his name." The dragon said in a flat tone as Eagle deadpanned. "It's Eagle, Eagle Eye." He gestured as he looked at the dragon. "And you're Spike right?" The dragon nodded. "How in Faust did you acquire a dragon Twilight?" Eagle asked as he pointed at Spike. "Oh well it's quite the story. You see..." Twilight started to tell her story as Eagle sat down, but spaced out and tried to look like he was listening. He looked around the room as Twilight closed her eyes and continued to folk her story. Eagle leaned over to Spike. "Is she always like this? It's almost like this is a story time period in school than an interview." Eagle whispered. "Yea. she'll space out at times. But long story short, I was a dragon egg and Twilight hatched me with magic." "That's it? Oh yea, I think I saw you pop out of the castle years ago." When I was still old. Eagle thought with a small hint of depression. "Yep, that's me, Twilight had some sort of magic overload and well, long story short, it's like Discord went and possessed Twilight or something." "Yea I bet." Eagle said with a chuckled grin as he faced Twilight who seemed to almost finish her story, but she became runoff. "And then my friend Rainbow Dash caused a Sonic Rainboom which caught me surprised causing me to create a magical overload and so I turned both of my parents into magical made fern like plants and then my magic suddenly turned spike into a gargantuan that he-" "Twilight." Eagle deadpanned as Twilight paused and looked at the unimpressed employee as she blushed and creaked a single smirk. "Ehehe sorry." She apologized as she pulled out a clip board from her desk along with a pen. "Alight, I'm going to ask you a few questions and I'll send you off to your first delivery." She started as pulled out a pair of glasses from her desk and applied them to her face. "Okay, Where are you from?" "Canterlot." Eagle simply answered. "How old are you?" "29" He lied. "What do you do for a hobby?" "Ehhhh, I mostly like to swim I guess. But I guess read and work out is what I like to do." He answered as Twilight wrote her information on her clipboard. "And last question, How are your family members?" "Dead." He said in a cold tone as Twilight covered her mouth with her hand and dropped her clipboard and pen. "Oh, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't of asked." "It's okay, it happened a long time ago." A long LONG time ago. Eagle said in his head as Twilight readjusted and continued to write down on her clipboard. "Okay, well now that that's finished. I need you to take this bag of books and bring them to these addresses." Twilight said as she handed Eagle a bag full of books and a piece of paper with a few addresses. "Now just take these books and bring them to the customers, they'll hand you some bits and when you're done, I'll sort out the bits for your pay." She informed as Eagle nodded and took the bag of books and left the building leaving Twilight with a small patch of pink on her cheek. Nearby on the upstairs, Spike walked down with a massive grin across his face as he looked at Twilight. "You like him don't you?" He ask mischievously as Twilight's patch grew three times larger that moment. "Gaahh... I-I-I don't know what you're talking about Spike. I don't like him." She grunted as she stomped away into the other room. "She likes him." Eagle walked around Ponyville as he looked through the list of orders and names for the books he was delivering. He looked at the first name. "Let's see here...... Dinky Hooves 3412 Leaf St." Eagle read as he summoned a large map made of magic which showed where he was and his deliveries were. "Good." He continued to walk the path of guidance until he reached the first house. He walked up to the doorway as he knocked on door. As it opened, out came a grayish purple unicorn filly along with a light gray mare with strange eyes. "Uhh... I have a book here for a.... Dinky Hooves?" "That's me!" The filly chimed as Eagle handed her the book and she zoomed off leaving the mare at the door. "Well that filly sure loves magic." Eagle said with a smile as the mare smiled as well. "Yep, my little pony wants to be like Twilight some day." She admired as a soft sigh escaped her mouth. "Oh yea, the money." She remembered as she reached into her pocket and pulled out a sum of bits and handed it to Eagle who happily placed them into a pouch on his belt. "Thank you." "No no, the pleasure is mine." Eagle thanked with a bow as he made his way towards the next homes with his deliveries and pick ups. He looked over to his list to find a pick up. "Okay, next one is Rainbow Dash huh? And location is...." He read the address. "In the sky?......shit." He groaned as he slowly walked into the nearest alley undetected. He looked up at the rooftops as he shape shifted into his eagle like form and flew to the top of the building near him. He then noticed a small cloud home with multiple rainbow waters spewing out of the clouds. He stopped to think, "How the moon am I gonna get there? I can't go that far unless..." He trailed off as he saw something nearby in the sky, it looked like a hot air balloon. He could see it closer no more than 15 feet away from him, he sprinted as he jumped off the roof and shape shifted into his shattered glass like eagle and gripped the basket as he regenerated into his pony self. He climbed inside as he saw Pinkie Pie inside the basket, funny, he didn't see her before he flew inside. "Pinkie Pie?" "OH HI Eagle." She chimed as she gave a tight squeeze around his hips. "Gah Pinkie..... can't....breath...." He screamed through small portions of air as Pinkie let out and giggle with embarrassment. "Sorry, I'm just happy to see a new friend." "It's okay, by the way, is this your balloon?" "Yea, why do you ask?" "Well Twilight want's me to deliver this book to Rainbow, but her house is all the way up there." Eagle informed as he pointed towards Rainbow's house. "So can you give me a ride?" "Sure." Pinkie said with energy as she reached up and pulled down a chain torching air inside her massive balloon causing the basket the raise with altitude. While rising, Eagle took a look at his list to find Rainbow's name and a book with her book, it was the newest Daring Do book. The two reached the limited altitude, Eagle had an idea and had a smug grin across his face. "Hey, Pinkie, can you take me higher?" Eagle asked with a smug tone as Pinkie raised the altitude like a building. "Thanks, I can take it from here." Eagle declared as he stood atop of the edge of the balloon's basket, he took a deep breath as he jumped off of the basket spreading his arms out like wings and flipped over facing his back against the cloud yard. He landed only to make a *Phomphf* sound, he stood up, unharmed as he whipped off any remaining cloud bunnies off of him. He looked up and waved at Pinkie as she cruised off into the sight of Ponyville. Eagle walked toward's the cloud home's front door as he rung the doorbell. The door opened as Rainbow appeared from the door with a confusing look on her face. "Eagle? What the hay are you doing here? And how did you get here?" "Well the first answer is I'm here to deliver your book. My second answer is a cloud walking spell." "Oh okay, wait deliver my book? I thought Twilight was gonna do it." "Well you see she hired me to deliver and pick up books from towns folk. By the way, here's your Daring Do book." Eagle said as he reached inside his bag and pulled out a hard cover book as Rainbow squeezed he head in excitement and swiped the book away from Eagle's hand with greed. "Also, I believe you owe some books as well." "Oh right, wait here." Rainbow said as she dashed off and came back in a tick-tock as she had three books in a stack. "Here's the Daring Doo books I owe." Eagle levitated the books inside his bag, Rainbow gave a large sum to Eagle for her pay as Eagle saluted his goodbyes to Rainbow and closed her front door, he started to walk to the edge of the cloud. He stopped as he saw a green mist appear in front of him and pop out a scroll with a purple T labeled at the tie of the scroll, he unraveled the scroll as he read it through. Eagle, It's Spike, can you come back to the Library? Twilight want's to talk to you about something important. PS: If you didn't know by now, dragons and send messages via flames, just saying. Eagle crumpled the paper as he looked down at the ground, he looked down at an angle to see clouds layered going downward towards the town of Ponyville, Eagle had a idea in his head. He leaped off the home based cloud as he morphed into his eagle form and flew to the nearest cloud, as he was transforming back into his pony form, he immediately morphed back into his eagle form and morphed hopped all the way down to the ground. As he reached the ground, he dropped as he breathed heavily and tried to catch his breath. You gotta be careful not to use it too much y'know. Oh be quite, you were always like that. And you are still like this. Be quite, don't remind me. But what about that Twilight mare? She's something. Really? Do you really wan't me to go through the same thing? I'm not like her. But- I can't have another you....I just....can't....go through with it, not until I find a cure. Eagle argued in his head as he regained his breath and walked towards the path of the library. As he reached the treehouse, he opened the door to find Twilight with a smile across her face. "Hello Eagle." She greeted. "Come, we need to talk." Eagle walked in as he sat his bag of books down and sat down across from Twilight. "I think it's time you teach me that duplication spell you performed the other day." She said as Eagle created a small frown across his face. "You're serious, Twilight you are aware of the risks of this spell, right?" Twilight raised her eyebrow in question as Eagle gave a heavy sigh. "This spell requires the most magic you must build up, you need to learn the ways of Mana." Wait, Mana!? Is he- "Now, come with me, outside." Eagle demanded in a harsh tone as Twilight flinched and stood up. She followed Eagle, she followed him so far, they were at the outskirts of Ponyville with nothing but plain and plateau. Eagle looked around on the grassy field until he picked up a single dandelion, he brought it over to Twilight as he sat down, Twilight followed his action shortly. "Now, you must concentrate your magic, focus on this one plant. You must absorb it's power, as if you're talking to it." Eagle instructed as Twilight closed her eyes and lit her horn. Okay, concentrate. I got this. Twilight said in her mind as she set her focus on the one dandelion. She felt nothing, but she concentrated harder, but there was still no presence of any magic, nor power. Until she could feel a *tink*, a static zap of some sort. And inside of her dark vision she saw a tiny, yet lit white orb. She wanted to chase after it, she got closer until she was facing the white orb directly, she then placed a finger on the white orb "Owwwwwwwww." Twilight snapped open her eyes to see Eagle lying on the ground with a small burn mark on his forehead. Twilight covered her mouth in shock as she leaped over to Eagle for assistance as she tripped on a pebble and fell on top of Eagle with her muzzle mere inches away from his. She blushed deeply as she looked deep at his face. Oh my goodness, he is cute. I told you. I guess...I do kind of like him. Then ask him out. I don't know much about him! All you know is that he's from Canterlot, he's an expert in magic, and his family's dead. I need to know more, like his childhood. Eagle grumbled and merged around his head as he slowly creaked open his eyes. The first thing he could see was Twilight's face, super close to his. He hadn't seen something like this in years, but only in one time. He turned crimson as he cleared his throat for Twilight to notice what she was doing, but it looked like she was arguing with herself, but not only her. Y'know, she does look kinda cute. I already told you, I can't. C'mon, just at least date her, for me? Why? I mean I- Oh just shut up you foal and just ask her out. Why? All I know about her is that she's the Element of Harmony, She's related to Shining Armor and Cade, and she's Celestia's student. Imagine what Celestia would do if she saw me, not to mention Luna! Okay, maybe you're right, but at least be a friend to her. Fine. "T-Twilight? Can you get off please?" Eagle asked as Twilight turned scarlet and leaped off of Eagle hiding her face from embarrassment. Eagle sat up still partially blushing as he whipped off any remaining dirt. Eagle felt a warm sense on his forehead, he tapped his finger only to find some ash from Twilight's magic. "Good, good, this is a good start." Eagle said wiping away the ash. "But it will take you years, this is like foals play Twilight, and Mana magic is not as easy as Unicorn magic." Eagle informed as he stood up. "Observe the basic power of Mana." Eagle said as he stood up and walk a few feet away from Twilight. "You might want to shield yourself." Eagle advised as Twilight bubbled herself and braced for chaos. Eagle took in a deep breath as he curved both of his hand's fingers and connected them together with each other. He then broke the bond and whipped both his open hands facing the ground, his horn started to shimmer as Twilight could feel something poking her on her feet, it felt sharp. She looked under to find the grass blades standing straight, and facing towards Eagle as small orbs and white started to emerge and float towards Eagle like a reverse raindrop. Eagle could feel the power coursing around him that all of the magical orbs started to gather to the palm of his hands, in just mere seconds, Eagle had full spheres in the palm of his hands as they soon glowed whitish blue. He aimed his hands a nearby boulder as he punched the air with his palms sending multiple torpedo shaped mana essence as they started to pound and disappear as they made contact with the boulder. The mana missiles kept pounding the boulder until it shattered like glass shocking Twilight, but not just her. Eagle's mana sphere's then dispersed as Eagle exhaled deeply releasing his energy and returning it to their rightful owners, every last speck of them. "And there you have it." Eagle simply said in a flat tone as Twilight stood up and slapped Eagle in the face leaving a bright red palm on Eagle's cheek, ouch. "Argghh! What the moon was that for!?" "You're that alicorn aren't you! The one nephew Celestia told me about!" Twilight said as she glared at the stallion, her horn lit with fierce light and she held out her phone with a certain number on her screen. Eagle held his pain in ease as he squinted his eyes at the phone number Twilight had on speed dial, he knew that number. Shit what do I do!? I can't face her! You are not Eagle. What? You are NOT the Eagle. Wait what are you-.... oh, right. Thanks, you're the best. Eagle wiped off the pain from his cheeks as he cleared his through. "I have no idea what you're talking about, Although I learned it from another stallion." Eagle lied as he smirked. "Who!?" Twilight asked, sounding desperate. "I can't remember his name, but he taught me what I taught you, and I've been practicing it ever since. And this is the best I could do." "Did he have strange animal like powers? Like a wolf or an eagle?" "Now that you mention it, he did." "I'm going to contact Princess Celestia right away, she must know about you." "Why? What good am I, and why does she want to look for an alicorn stallion? I thought the three princesses were the only 3 alicorns." "Follow me to the Library and I will tell you the story." Eagle nodded as the two made their way back towards the Ponyville town and eventually the library. The two sat down at a table as Spike soon brought tea and crackers, for it was going to be a long chat. "Okay, so it's like this..." > Chapter 9: Underhand [Fixed] > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 9: Underhand ---Note The next chapter will be a flashback about Eagle's past, so some chapters may be in the past, and some might be in the present.--- ---1005 Years ago, 5 years before the banishment of Nightmare Moon--- The lonely alicorn stallion was in the out door training grounds as he started to strike the a dummy with the side of his flat palms. He then jumped, spun and came back around as he kicked the wooden dummy, shattering it as it's chips flew out like blood into the grass. He panted in exhaustion as he picked up a nearby rag and whipped his sweaty face. "Captain Eagle!" Eagle flinched as he turned to see his superior General Splinter Claw, he was old, white hair and beard. "General!" Eagle addressed as he saluted at his superior who put up his hand. "At ease. I need a special favor of you." Splinter settled as Eagle removed his hand from his head. "What is it?" "Sole, come out please." The general commanded as a unicorn mare in bronze armor came out from behind him holding a silver headed spear. Her coat was pillow white as her mane was long and blonde like gold along with her tail. Her hands shivered a little with hidden fear as she gulped at the alicorn. "This is my granddaughter Sole Spear, she volunteer to be in the royal guard and I was hoping you would accept as to train her as you're personal second." Eagle's eyes widen and pupils shrunk as he looked at Sole who hung a centimeter in fear. Eagle place a hand on Splinter's shoulder as he started to pull him away from his grandchild. "General can I talk to you." He dragged him around ten feet away from Joan as he glared at the general. "General! Why me!? Why would you choose me!? And don't say it's because I'm an alicorn!" Eagle barked as he continued to glare at his superior who only just chuckled. "It's because I trust you, you are one of the youngest captains we have. And you are the toughest we have, that and you learned a lot of your travels. Please, just train her." "Why can't you train her!?" He spat at Splinter. "You think this old stallion can actually fight?" "...Yes." He said pointing at his hoof's muscle as it's veins popped out like a balloon. "Yes but look at this." He said pointing at his cracked horn. "I can't use anymore magic. But you can, and you bested most high ranked members with your skills." He said with a heavy sigh. "Look, just train her for a week, if you're used to it and like it, train er some more. If not, then I'll assign her to somepony else." Eagle mumbled in his mind as he came to a conclusion. "Fine, but it won't be easy for her." "That's what I'm hoping." Splinter said with a chuckled as he turned to his grand daughter. "Sole!" He barked as female guard flinched and faced her grandfather. "Come here." She gulped and walked next to her elder. "Captain Eagle is going to train you from now on." He said as Sole swiftly struck her hand out in front of Eagle and shivered with fear. "H-Hi, n-n-nice to meet you sir." Eagle shook her hand as her cheeks turned a little pink. "Greetings to you Sole, as you may know I am Captain Eagle. You will be trained under my hands, but it won't be easy." "I-I know sir." "Good, starting tomorrow you will come to the training grounds at 7 a.m. We will begin your training there." "Yes sir." "Good, dismissed. General," He said as he saluted to his comrade. "I'll see you then." He said as he spread his wings and took off into the distance. The two other guards stayed behind as Sole gave a heavy sigh and smiled at her grandfather. "Thanks Grandpa." "Anything for my little baby. Are you sure you wan't to do this? He's hard to get, he's rejected almost every female guard." "I know, but I'm willing to do anything for his heart." She gave a soft sigh as Eagle left Sole's sight. "Anything." The next day had come as Eagle waited outside on the training grounds. He awaited patiently as he looked at his pocket watch which told the time of 6:59 a.m. "Where in the name of Auntie is she?" He looked in the distance to find Sole running towards him, she looked worried. She reached him as Eagle's clock tocked having it tell the precise time he wanted her. "What took you so long?" He asked as Sole gasped for air. "I was *gasp* trying to *gasp* get *gasp* breakfast." She breathed out as she held out a bag with a bagel in it causing Eagle to smile and chuckled. "Alright, next time just come here, I'll have some fruit prepared." He said as Sole nodded. "Now first I need to ask you a few questions. "Why did you volunteer?" "Because I wan't to protect the ponies of Equestria so they can keep their freedom." "How old are you?" "23 years old." "Huh, 2 years younger than me." Eagle noticed as he focused back to his questions. "Specialty?" He asked as he pointed at Sole's Cutiemark on her shoulder which was a spear with a ceramic white tip. "Oh! I'm uh... Good with spears and battle staffs." "Alright, now that sums up the questions right now. Now I wan't you to run four times around the track." "Whaaaat!?" Sole's jaw dropped with a sense for sore legs. "You heard me, go." Eagle commanded in a serious tone as Sole took off her armor and started to jog around the track. Well Sole, you wanted this, you're gonna do this, for him. She thought of determination as she started to quicken her pace around the track. Hm, she's not bad. Fit and well determined. But why did she really join is my question. Eagle thought as he turned and summoned a fresh wooden practice dummy. A few months had passed and Sole's skill had improved, it has improved in a mass amount of percentage. Her rank had also escalated as she went from a private to a full pledge lieutenant, she was the rank of the counting standing guards. But she wasn't doing that because she was under Eagle's full control and hand. Eagle had just woken up and looked over to his clock, it was early. He remember he gave Sole the day off to relax, since she deserved it, so there was nothing for him to do left other than guard duty. He felt fine for the morning until he saw the date, a date he would never forget. He didn't smile, instead he frowned as he stepped out of his bed, applied his armor, and left for the barracks to grab some grub. He arrived in the mess hall as he approached the unicorn chef. "Hey Chuck Cut, what's the special today?" "Well we got roast beef for bat ponies, uh.... hay and cheese sandwiches with eggs and beans, and finally a mushroom cheese pepper omelet with hash browns." Eagle argued with his mind on what to eat. Obviously the meat the out of the question but his mind battled between the omelet or the sandwich meals. But then it came to a treaty. "I'll...... have the omelet please. With a sprinkle of daisy petals please." "No problem mac." Chuck confirmed as he went into the back of the kitchen as sounds of sizzle and hunger plagued Eagle's mind. He sat down at the front counter and awaited patiently for his food. Chuck soon came back levitating his plates and a mug of coffee as he set them in front of Eagle. "Here ya are captain." "Thank you" Eagle thanked as he began to eat in silence. He was half finished with his food as he felt a tapping on his shoulders to find his cousin, Prince Obsidian, a dark purple unicorn stallion with a grey main and tail with small goatee across his chin. "Hello Cousin." "Cousin, you know what today is right?" "Yes." "Then I might as well accompany you to feel better. After all, I was there, and your mother loved you very much." "But not Aunt Cel, she wouldn't even let me see my own mother." "Cousin, Auntie loves you very much. The reason she wouldn't let you see your mother is because you were young, she didn't want to scar you like this." "Well that's too bad, I never saw my mother's face again, not even at her funeral." Obsidian opened his mouth but had nothing to say, it seemed he was bested. Obsidian gave a heavy sigh as he reached inside his coat and pulled out a small white box with a red ribbon tied to it. "This was from my private collection. Happy birthday cousin." "Nothing to be happy about it. But thank you anyways cousin." Obsidian nodded as he felt a tap on his shoulder. It was a tall winged teenage sea blue dragon with white spines on his back and a white scaled stomach. He was holding a scroll with a pendant tied to it keeping it rolled. "Ahh, Soar my assistant, there you are." Obsidian said with glee. "Hey Obby, I got this uh... letter from the princess." Soar said as Obsidian levitated the scroll and unraveled it. Dear Obsidian, my nephew, I please request that you come to the castle immediately for the Country Club meeting. They request that you come along with Soar to start a sparing conversation and to keep the boredom to a flat surface. And if you see Eagle, please tell him please meet me, I wan't to talk to him. -Your Auntie Celestia Obsidian dispersed Celestia's letter as he pulled out a piece of paper and pen. "Dear Auntie, thank you for forwarding this message to me attire, I will meet with the fellow members shortly. And Eagle...." Obsidian paused as he looked at Eagle who had finished his meal and had a frown on his face. He then gave a heavy sigh as he faced his cousin with a stare causing Soar to flinch back. "Fine, I'll see her, but it won't be very cheerful. I wan't to hear what she says. Tell her I will meet her at midnight during auntie Luna's night" Eagle said in a dark tone as he stood from his seat and walked out the mess hall leaving Obsidian to sigh at him as he finished his letter. "...will see you at midnight. With love, your nephew, Obsidian." He finished as he rolled his paper and gave it to Soar who later torched it with a blue flame sending it's blue ashes towards the castle. Obsidian felt a tap on his shoulder who turned to find a female soldier with gold armor. "Ah hello, you are Sole Spear, Eagle's sidekick, am I correct?" He recognized her due to her being attached to Eagle for months. "Um...yes, I uh, what happened here? What happened to Eagle?" Obsidian gave a heavy sigh as he placed a hand on Sole's shoulder. "It's not my story to tell, as a gentleman. But I just want to say, he hates Celestia with all of the blackness in his heart." Luna's moon had glimmered in the night sky as Eagle landed in front of the castle, he looked around, hoping for no sketch artists or paparazzi. He walked inside the stone castle as he could see his Aunt sitting at the throne, staring at him with a smile while Eagle just gave the opposite. "Hello Eagle how are you." "Fine..." He reassured in a cold tone as he crunched up his fist, holding in his hatred. A long silence fell between the two as Celestia gulped. "I'm sorry." As Eagle heard those words, he frowned. He heard that same phrase many times before, they crawled towards him year after year like rats in food. It annoyed him. He skill kept his scowled face as he faced his aunt. "Why should I!" He snapped as the ground shook with tremor and fear. "You wouldn't let me see her! Not even help her, and on the day of my birthday!" "Eagle, I am sorry. I know that you wanted to see your mother again but, she didn't want you to do that." Eagle's mind hung by a thread as his horn flared violently. "WHAT!? YOU LIE YOU MONSTER!" Eagle roared as he took the the air in the throne room as he pulled out a tomahawk making it's blade blaze fire. several royal guards came storming in as they flinched back as soon as they saw their captain on a fit of rage. Celestia took immediate action as she cast a spell surrounding Eagle in a bubble like shield to calm him down. "Eagle please, you have to believe me. I don't want to hurt you than any other way." "Why should I believe you!" He yelled through the bubble. "What proof do you have that proves my mother didn't want me to see her!" He demanded in a dark tone as a dark aura started to slither out of his eyes. Celestia's eyes shrank as she gave a heavy sigh. Forgive me cousin. Celestia apologized in her head as she gave a heavy sigh. She released Eagle from her barrier as she gestured him to follow. The dark aura from Eagle's eyes vanished as he followed his aunt, he was lead into Celestia private quarters as she reached into a lock box. She pulled out an aged letter, it was tanish brown and was partially burnt around the edges, but it didn't affect the actual file. She levitated it to Eagle as he swiped the paper and looked it over. "This was from your mother, she didn't want you to see this, but it seems I have no choice." Eagle raised an eyebrow as he read his mother's letter, his eyes shrunk as he nearly fainted and sat on the floor from immense shock. He took multiple deep breaths as Celestia sat by his side. "Eagle, deep breaths, try and calm down. Here, try this." Celestia placed her hand on her chest as she inhaled, and exhaled as she released her hand away from her chest. Eagle had copied Celestia's exercise as he felt only slight tad recovered. He stared at the paper again. "... I need to be alone for a while." He said as he stood up and walked outside to Celestia's balcony. He stood on the hand rail as he looked down. He took a deep breath and skidded some dust off the balcony. "Wait!" Eagle turned around to find Celestia in small tears. "Eagle, can you forgive me?" "Maybe. To me, you have a five percent chance, but it's something. Oh and Auntie..." Celestia looked up to Eagle as he took a deep sigh. "Thank you." Eagle said as he jumped off the balcony and snapped open his wings, gliding towards the training grounds. Celestia started to weep only a tin amount as she heard her door creak open. She turned to find Sole peaking through the door as she soon revealed her spying head. "Princess, what happened?" She asked her leader as she pulled out her spear from her back and checked around the perimeter for any enemy. "Who was here?" "Sole, stand down." She did just that as she reapplied her spear on her back. "What happened?" She walked around and found a feather on the floor, it was light brown and sharp as an eagle. Wait a minute... "Princess, was Eagle in here?" "Yes, he and I had a talk." Sole sat down next to the marble white princess as she wrapped a arm around her shoulder. "Why does he hate you so much?" Celestia hiccuped through her tears as Sole took out her handkerchief and wiped Celestia's eyes. She sniffed and cleared her through to try and get through her depressing fog. "Thank you..." She took a deep breath as she faced Sole. "About Twenty years ago, when Eagle was at the age of-" Suddenly, a bolt a lightning stuck Celestia's balcony as Princess Luna appeared in front of them with a look of anguish. "Dear sister, you will not tell Eagle's story. For it is his to tale." She shouted at the top of her royal voice as Sole covered her ears in pain. "Eagle will tell his story at his own time, even if it must take thousands of years. He will be ready when he feels ready." The room started to crack as bits of stone started to fall from Luna's canterlot voice. "For if you tale thy Eagle's tale then I will smite you down with my power, it is Eagle's choice on who to tell it to. Or may I remind you of your secrets." Luna roared as she glared into her sisters eyes that made her wince back a little. "Alright, I'm sorry Sole but you're going to have to ask him. Though I must warn you, only the royal family knows of his tale, even Prince Obsidian. If he doesn't want to tell you then you must respect his choice." Sole saluted towards her leader as she smiled. "Yes princess. I'm going to ask him now." "If you are really certain, but be cautious. He could be unstable." "I know, but he needs a friend." Sole said as she quickly left the room only to leave the two sisters sighing in relief. "You realize that you may have put Eagle in a sense of slaughter, you do know of this right sister?" Luna cautioned Celestia as she gave a heavy sigh. "If it's the only way to balance his mind and for him to give forgiveness, then I have no choice." Celestia said as she remembered the conflict in her throne room. "I sense something Luna, inside him, molding." Celestia said as she gulped and dropped a single sweat bullet. "What, what is it?" Luna asked raising an eyebrow. "His power, it was.... unnatural. Not in pony or anything else I've seen." "Could he have learned this on his travels?" "I have know idea Luna, it's the only theory we have." Celestia said looked out her balcony only to see nothing but a feather Eagle had left behind. > Chapter 10: The Test > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 10: The Test ---A month after Celestia's confession--- Eagle sat in his room, he still trained Sole for the sake of her training and his mind. But he still couldn't believe he saw the truth behind Celestia's force. And to believe that it was never her fault or her purpose to begin with. He saw on his bed, how much the lumpiness he felt was no bother to him, except the letter. A knocking came from his door, but he ignored it. "Eagle c'mon, it's time for my training." It was Sole, she ranked up to a captain, and as for Eagle, he ranked up to become a Major, which was three ranks higher than Sole's. Though, their ranks didn't matter due to their immense power, greatly powerful and deadly against the higher ranked guards. "Eagle, are you okay?" "Go away Sole, now's not the time." Sole frowned for her trainer's sake and his selfishness. She stood for him, she liked him and joined the guard for a different reason. She clenched her fist as she pounded her arm against his door which only resisted in her force. "You better not come in!" Eagle yelled as Sole still ignored his warnings. So she made one last move as she kicked down his door causing Eagle to flinch at Sole. "What the-" Eagle was interrupted as Sole slapped him in the face. grabbed his wrist, and dragged him outside towards the training grounds. She let him go as she pulled out her Spear and aimed her tip at Eagle. It was Silver with golden accents, and as for the spear, it had a head like a razor and at the other end of her spear, was a triple blade bird claw. "Stand and fight me Eagle." She commanded in a rough tone as Eagle simply looked away. "Sole, I'm really not in the mood to-" Eagle was interrupted as sole thrust her spear at Eagle's cheek leaving a cut on his face. To Eagle's surprise, he was cut, he's never been cut nor attacked by any other guard before. Sole struck again with her sword as Eagle quickly dodged to his left and grabbed Sole's arm with his right hand and was going to punch her with his left. But he became too weighted as Sole made the paced move and punched him in the face leaving his face to have a patch of pain. "C'mon sir, I thought you were tougher than that." Sole mocked as Eagle held his bruis and gritted his teeth. He clenched his fist as he stood up and pounded his fists together symbolizing a sign of battle. "There we go." Sole said with a determined tone to win as Eagle ran up to sole and jumped in the air. Soon, an image of a bear with a skin like shattered glass appeared standing in front of her with claws raised to slam down on her. Sole grinned as she took a form of a snake with the same made material skin as Eagle as she slithered behind Eagle and reappeared as herself and constricted her arms around Eagle's hip and surplexed him over herself as she slammed Eagle's head on the ground. Eagle yelled in pain as he fell on the floor, but he smiled and coughed out blood. He stood up and wiped the blood from his chin. "Y'know it's not fair since I don't have my weapons." He told Sole as she smiled at Eagle. "That's why I came prepared." She said as she teleported Eagle's hatchet and One edged sword. "Your tomahawk and katana are here." She said as she levitated them towards eagle who smirked as he took his faith full weapons. His tomahawk glowed red then ignited with fire as his sword gleamed a ruby red as it also ignited with red fire. As for Sole, her spear shimmered like Celestia's sun and sparkled like Luna's stars. "So, can we start?" Sole smirked as she tightly gripped her spear. "You had me at 'we'." Sole admired as the two sprinted towards each other to begin their battle. Sole took the form as a rabbit with her mana magic as her legs turned to a rabbit's feet, she squatted down and jumped with immense height, almost as tall as the castle. She reappeared in her original form as she brought down her spear and began to fall with momentum growing in her spear with strength. Eagle flinched as he shielded his face with both his weapons as Sole's spear struck Eagle's blockade causing a vast and wide boom causing petals to fly and leaves to pluck off their branches. And from within the castle walls, a certain princess had dropped her cake in surprise causing her to scream in horror. "NOOOOOOOOO!!!! MY CAKE!!!!" Within the battle, Eagle twirled his tomahawk around as it grew flames, he threw the tomahawk at Sole as it soon turned to a flaming fireball. Sole simply deflected it with her spear, but soon found it flying back towards her causing her to repeatedly deflect the blade as Eagle sat down as he bit down hard on his katana's handle, hard enough to draw cracks on his teeth. He placed his hands together as the shattered glass mana surrounded him as the form of a bear stood behind him, only the bear had red eyes and looked for fierce with spike standing fur. The bear pounced Eagle as he dropped his sword and flinched in pain as his eyes beamed white blue and red markings appeared on his hands, almost like stripes. He stood up and growled like a beast as Sole couldn't focus on him. Eagle stood, feeling a burning and dark sensation in his heart as he sprinted towards Sole. He jumped as the bear form surrounded his body as he slammed his bear like hands in front of Sole as she flew back a mile screaming in pain. As Eagle heard her scream, his eyes and form snapped back to his normal self as he fell to the ground coughing up blood, almost a pint flew out of his mouth. He shook his head for conscience as he ran towards the direction of which Sole flew. He ran through the thick woods as he found a massive dug in trail, the size of a pony's traveling towards a lake. Oh Celestia, what if she's drowning!? Eagle panicked as he quickly took off his armor and weapons and jumped in. He opened his eyes to let the stinging sensation of water inside his eyes as he could see air bubbles floating towards the top from the bottom. He desperately swam towards the bottom as he found Sole who was unconscious at the bottom. He wrapped her arms around his neck as he kicked and pedaled hard up towards the surface. As he reached the surface, he pulled her towards the show as he pressed his hands on her chest. He continued as he then pinched her nose, lifted up her chin and attached his mouth to her's to compress air. He released his mouth as he soon repeated his actions for several minutes, hoping she would wake up. Sole could feel sounding pounding on her chest, it felt a little hard and violent, that was rude of sompony to just do that to the recently deceased. She could taste a strange flavor inside her mouth, something that she has never tasted. It wasn't hay, nor daisies, nor grass, not even eggs. It tasted kind of sweet like candy, but also had some sort of taffy like texture. The taste she felt almost felt electrifying, but in a good way that she wanted it to continue. Sole! A voice, she heard. She's heard it before but she couldn't quite make up who was calling to her. It sounding like an angel, or a knight, maybe both. Sole wa-! There was the voice again, though it seemed it couldn't finished what it was trying to say. She listened closely until- Sole Wake Up!!! Sole snapped opened her eyes and coughed out cups of water out her mouth. She felt weak and wet as she slowly turned her head to find Eagle knelled down, and panting over her head. "Thank Aunt, oh Thank Aunt. Your alive, I thought you were dead." "W...w...where are we? What happened?" "I used 'it' and accidentally blew you into the Everfree forest. And I noticed your drag marks ending up in the river, but I didn't see you surface. So I dove in, pulled you out and gave you CPR, thank Aunt that your alive. I wouldn't know what I'd do if my apprentice died." Eagle said as Sole couldn't believe what he said, did he really say that he cared for her? She blushed deeply and winced her eyes as tears began to dam through. "Sole are you okay?" "Y-Yes....sir, can.... can you just close your eyes." "Uh.....sure." Eagle shrugged as he closed his eyes and awaited for Sole's action. "Keep 'em closed." Sole re informed "I am." Sole gulped in fear as she sat up and moved closer towards Eagle's face, and soon to his lips. Do it! I can't! Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it! Sole shook nervously as she puckered her lips and prepared for the moment. She gently placed her lips onto Eagle's soft and wet lips as Eagle's eyes snapped open to the surprise of Sole's action. Sole wrapped her arms around Eagle as he pulled in Eagle for a more sweet and passionate kiss, while Eagle was to put it straight, shocked. After a few seconds, Sole pulled away from Eagle's lips as she looked at Eagle's shock face and turned for the worse. "Oh....s-s-sorry." She began to leak tears as Eagle kept the same expression on his face. "I....I thought you felt the same way." Sole said as she ran off into the distance in tears as Eagle soon got up and gave chase. "Sole wait! I-" But it was too late as Sole soon teleported to Celestia knows where. Eagle stood there motionless, sitting on the cold grass of the forest, it felt cold, like his heart. He gave a heavy sigh as he walked towards the pool and looked at his own reflection. His face, sadden with hidden truths, lies, skill, and pasts that aren't pretty. Do I feel the same way about her? Was all he could ask to himself. > Chapter 11: The Storm > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 11: The Storm Twilight had explained the story of the 'Allicorn Colt' to Eagle who simply nodded and understood every aspect of the tale. He's heard of the good, the bad, and the ugly, and he understood all of it, every single thing. Twilight soon stood up as she wiped off the dust from the fallen books off her shirt as she sighed in relief. "Well then I guess it's time to contact the princess and inform them about you." Twilight said as she pulled out a scroll and pen causing Eagle's pupils shrank. "Uhh... I'm really of no use to the princesses." "Why not? Your perfect, you-" "I mean I met him at the age of 10. I haven't seen him for ten years, and I never saw him again. How would I know where he's suppose to be?" Twilight placed her finger under her lip to think until a light popped above her head. "I know, we can use a memorization spell." Eagle's eyes shrank even more (don't know how that could happen) as he kept thinking of more scapegoats. "You mean like those spells where you can see years in the past?" "Yes." Twilight simply said as her horn began to shine with magic. "Twilight I will tell you one last time. It probably won't work, I mean like this alicorn stallion is powerful with magic right?" Twilight nodded as he cleared his throat. "He probably has some immunity to spells like this, I mean he's an alicorn. That race is a master race in magic!" Eagle exclaimed as Twilight opened her mouth to object, but found Eagle's counter argument agreeable. "Hmm... I guess your right. Okay, well I think it's time for your next delivery." She said as she levitated a few books and a few addresses as she gave them to Eagle. "Just take these books and pick some up and you'll be relieved for the door. Just be sure to come back to receive your bits." "Got it." Eagle nodded as he placed the books in his bag and left to do his job. Throughout the day he's been delivering and receiving books as he came to his last delivery. He read the owner of the book. "Rarity Belle eh? And she lives at.....Carousel Boutique." Eagle looked around as he found a tall, posh looking building. "That must be the place." Eagle predicted as he walked up to the door and knocked on it. "Coooooooooommiiiiiing." Said a voice that sounded like a pony from Canterlot. The door opened to reveal a marshmallow white unicorn mare with a violet curled mane. "Oh I know you, from Pinkie's latest party." She smiled. "Ehhhhh yep, so you are Rarity Belle I presume?" "Yes, and may I ask why you are here?" "I'm here to deliver this Fashion History book to you from Twilight." Eagle said as he pulled out a pink and blue gem encrusted book as Rarity took the book and flipped through the designs and dresses from the book. "Oh these are divine darling!" She awed as she pulled out a few bits and placed it on Eagle's hand. "Take these as a tip." "N-No, I-" "Oh please take them, I insist darling." "Well, if you insist." Eagle shrugged as he placed the bits in his pouch. No wonder she's the 'Element of Generosity' Eagle said in his head as he looked up to see dark clouds floating in the sky. "Looks like it'll rain soon, possibly a storm." "Well if you need an umbrella, I have some in my store." "Seriously? Man you are really generous." "I take that as a big compliment thank you, now let's get inside before you become soaked." Rarity instructed as Eagle walked inside. "Soo where are the umbrellas? "They should be in the closet." Rarity said as she walked in the closet as looked around. But no rain shields seemed to be around. "Hmm... oh dear, it seems I've run short on umbrellas." "Oh, well then I'm just gonna have to use my coat to keep me dry." "Now wait darling I can't have you soaked." She thought for a minute until an idea flashed in her head. "I know, I can make you a raincoat to go. Though it might cost you." "No problem, I can pay." 'Excellent, now how do you want that designed?" "Just dark brown, like my clothes." Rarity hissed at the sigh of Eagle's clothes, they looked dirty like they've crawled through a war with mud. "W-Well.... if you insist." "Thank you, how long will this take?" "Just about twenty minutes darling, so make yourself at home." "Thanks." Eagle appreciated as he sat down on a nearby couch and looked around. He then heard a little filly's voice from up stairs as he heard footsteps following down the stairs. "Rarity! Can you help me with my..." The filly stopped to see Eagle sitting on the couch. "Sweetie Belle I am currently working on my project for my client." "But I need help with my Equestrian History homework!" The filly pouted as the fashion designer sighed in stressed. "Uh... maybe I can help her." The two ponies looked at Eagle with surprise. "Really thanks mister." As she ran towards Eagle and pulled on his arm dragging him towards upstairs. "Thank you Eagle, for this, I think I can lower the price for the coat." Rarity thanked as Eagle soon left with the filly. The small filly led Eagle into her bedroom as she soon zoomed off to her papers. "So what is your name mister? My name is Sweetie Belle, and I'm Rarity's little sister." "Well nice to meet you Sweetie Belle, so why do you need help with Equestrian History?" "Well, I need to find out about this one stallion who put an end to pony discrimination." "Well I need more information to that. What was his famous acts?" "Well, if I remember his famous speech was called, 'I Have a Dream', and he was a true Equestrian hero." Sweetie Belle informed as Eagle smiled and shed a small tear. "I know who you're talking about, his name is Martin Hoofer King Jr. and he is my personal hero." "Well what can you tell me about him?" Eagle smiled as he started to explain the acts of non violent protests against prejudice ponies from the previous period of Equestria. Sweetie Belle recorded as much information as Eagle could speech as she became more and more interested in the stallion (Dr. King). ---500 years ago, 500 years after the banishment of Nightmare Moon.--- Quick Note: This is just an allegorical version of Martin Luther King Jr. Eagle sat in a usual pub as he was surrounded by many pegasi and unicorns, but no earth ponies. He heard the bell ring as a few earth ponies came in causing the owner and many non earth ponies to frown at their entrance. The pub owner got up as he walked towards the earth ponies with a club hidden behind his back. "S'cuse be boys, I'm gonna haf'ta ask you boys to leave. Now!" The pub owner grunted as the earth ponies, except one, all had confused looks. "What? What the moon did we do?" One of the earth ponies asked as the owner tightly gripped his club even harder. "I'm not gonna ask again, leave or things will get ugly." The group of earth ponies soon left after hearing one grumbling. "I just wanted one drink." He mumbled in frustration as Eagle frowned and walked towards the pub owner. "Hey man why'd you kick those ponies out? I mean this pub's local right?" Eagle asked as the owner snickered. "Heh yea, local to only non Earths. They're nothing but trash and rocks, should be put for labor only." As Eagle heard those harmful words he gave a sigh and placed a medium sum of bits on the counter. "I'll take a bottle of whiskey." The bartender nodded as he took the bits and pulled out a whiskey bottle and wrapped in it a brown paper bag. Eagle took the bottle and left, he looked around for the group of earth ponies from earlier until he found them running away from some guards. He quietly followed them until they were trapped in an alleyway. "C'mon guards, we didn't do nothing!" One of the earth ponies pleaded as a guard punched him in the face, spraying his teeth from his metal gauntlet. The earth pony fell to the floor, bleeding, painting the cement crimson red as the rest of the guards laughed. Eagle growled as he walked up behind the farthest guard and wrapped his arms around his neck and mouth, shielding his screams and cracked his neck without a sound. He gently placed him down on the floor to hide the sound of armor as he pulled out his sword and silently killed the next two guards, only leaving one last guard to himself. Fortunately, he never noticed his buddies' deaths behind him. "Hey!" Eagle taunted as the guard turned around only to find horror of his fellow men killed without a sound, blood spilled and mix as the group of earth ponies' eye widened at the sigh of a non earth helping them. "You better knock it off or you're next." The guard growled as he pulled out a spear and charged towards Eagle with a roar. Eagle simply caught his spear's body in mid charge as he placed his hand on his shoulder and shape shifted into a wolf. To the guard's sight, all he could see was a wolf about to pounce his face with teeth bull of bone crushing fear and despair that he could see his own death right in front of his eyes. But instead, the wolf simply jumped over his shoulder causing his to shiver and faint to the floor in fear, leaving his tears fend for themselves as they leaving from the guard's eyes. Eagle transformed back into his normal self as scuffed off any remaining dust from his little fare. "You guys okay?" He asked the group of earth ponies as they shivered with nods. "Alright, you guys might wanna get out of here, other ponies might think you guys did this." "Ah don't appreciate your violence sir." One earth pony preached as he approached Eagle. He had a dark brown coat with a black buzz cut with a small mustache. "But I do appreciate your help for us, not many folks like you help us earth ponies." "Well it was either you or them, either way, they were gonna kill you guys and blame it on other earths." Eagle said as the earth pony slowly shoot his head. "Well sir, may I say that we can solve this with non-violence." "That'll be the day when Celestia fixes this prejudice age." "Well sir, may I just say that 'I Have a Dream' that one day this nation will rise up, live out the true meaning of its creed." He said with a serious tone as Eagle's simply nodded with a small grin. "Well that's one helluva dream. Oh ya and you can have this." Eagle said as he gave the group of Earth ponies the whiskey he bought. They all thanked Eagle as one of them picked up and carried their downed stallion, and started to leave Eagle's crime scene until Eagle spoke up to the stallion from earlier. "Oh yea, sir I never got your name." "My name? Sir, my name is Martin Hoofer King Jr. But my friends call me King." "Well follow your dreams Mr. King, they should come true." Eagle said as he reached out his hand, Mr. King soon shook his hand as they both smiled. "Take it easy, work hard." "You too sir." Mr. King said as they soon separated leaving Eagle to clean up the mess. He slowly picked up each corpse one by one as the stallion came to his mind, along with his conscience. He was nice, a really nice fellow. He was wasn't he? And I like his 'I Have a Dream' thing he said. He could end this y'know? The thing Celestia can't stop. She's a bitch and you know it. Eagle.... Just... stop, it's already too late for her apology. Well Mr. King does have a point, I mean he could use non violence to stop this all. Maybe, but it's still my violence, I use it the way I want, and that's final. If you say so. ---5 years later--- Eagle sat on the rooftops as he looked down on a massive crowd filled with ponies of many races. All earth ponies, pegasi, and unicorns alike all clutched up together and clapped like equals to one stallion. Who preached with pride, gratitude, and honor as Princess Celestia stood next to him with a proud smile on her face. He aimed at the stallion through a telescope and he continued to smile down on his friend. He could hear the magic enhanced stones roaring across Equestria, everypony in the country could hear it. Until it concluded with his final words. "Free at last, Free at last, Great Celestia a-mighty, We are free at last!" He finally concluded as the entire crowd caused an uproar, it was so loud, the the skylights near Eagle cracked a bit. He could see through his eye piece, Dr. King shaking his hand with the princess and leaving towards his home. Eagle smiled as he jumped off his rooftop and 'eagle flew' towards a post close to the ground to land safely. He applied on his hood as he walked through the crowd unseen as he followed Dr. King. He followed him into his apartment building as he knocked on his door, King opened his door with a smile as Eagle smiled back. "Well if it isn't my good friend Eagle, come in come in." "To you too Dr. King. I wanted to congratulate you on your succession." "Thank you Eagle, and might Ah say that it's a beautiful sunrise for this day." "Yea, I know. I may have been wrong about the whole non violent protests. And it seems I was." Eagle chuckled as he swore he could hear some scuffling around the apartment's balcony. But he ignored it as King brought out a couple of cigarettes as he lit them up and gave one to Eagle. They both chatted as Dr. King's balcony door open to reveal a pegasus wielding a knife. "Damn you King! I'll kill you!" The pegasus barked as he charged Dr. King with a knife and stabbed him clear in the chest. Eagle's eyes shrunk as he took out his sword and cleanly decapitated the murderous pegasus as he rushed towards King in aid. "Aghh!!......Celestia this...." Dr. King hissed as Eagle pressed his hands against his wounds to stop the blood pressure. "Hang in there Dr. King! Just-" Eagle was interrupted as Dr. King gently gripped his coat and smiled. "Gnng... don't worry 'bout me....s'long as...my ponies are...safe and...'free at last'." Dr. King gently pushed Eagle's hand away from his wound who didn't even hesitate. "Eagle, remember these words, There is Always, a Time for Peace'." King concluded as the weight from his hand felt heavy and dropped like water from ice as he lost grip of Eagle's coat. Eagle stared at King as he gave a heavy sigh and placed two fingers over his eyes, he closed them and placed his hands together on his chest. "You can rest now King, time for retirement." Eagle said in respect as he heard a voice coming from outside. It was Princess Celestia, and Eagle had no time to go 'back'. He quickly wrote down a note as he ran towards the balcony and jumped off and flew to a safe distance with his 'Eagle Flight'. ---present--- "And that's pretty much all I can say about Dr. King." Eagle concluded as Sweetie Belle wrote down every last data about the stallion. I miss him. A voice said in his head as a knock came from Sweet's front door. Eagle opened it to reveal Rarity with an uncertain look on her face. "Oh hey Rarity.... what's wrong? You look uneasy." He noticed beads of sweat rolling down Rarity as she gave a gulp. "Um... Eagle can you please come with me." "S-Sure." Eagle said with a confused done as his eyes noticed a bruise on her arm. He could hear multiple stallions coming from downstairs as he grabbed Rarity by the shoulder for pause. "What's going on?" He whispered as Rarity began to cry with fear. "I-I-I'm sorry Eagle, I didn't mean for this to happen. There are some ruffians downstairs that demand for my jewelry. I think that they are trying to rob me." Eagle grunted as he pulled Rarity back into the same room with Sweetie Belle who had a look of confusion. "What's going on Rarity?" "Sweetie, Rarity, stay here and keep the door locked until I come back." Eagle fiercely instructed as he went out and closed the door behind him. Rarity levitated a chair and plugged it under the door handle as she held Sweetie Belle close. "Rarity what's happening? What's Eagle gonna do?" Sweetie asked with a teaspoon of fear as Rarity held her even tighter. "He's going to help us Sweetie, just stay close." Eagle slowly walked down the hall towards the stairs as he thought of a plan. Damn, out of all the crimes of places, it's gotta be the Element of Generosity's place. Well what are you gonna do? You can't use your weapons, they're magic! Twilight could track and analyze the leftover mana from their deaths. I'll improvise, hang on, is that a bathroom? Eagle stopped as he opened the door to reveal a marble what bathroom. She's a mare so she's gotta have... Eagle searched through the drawers until he found a metal nail filer.Bingo. It was semi sharp at it's end with was perfect. He gripped it tightly above his thumb like a knife as he slowly sneaked down the stairs. He could see multiple dark clothed, and hooded stallions as he grind his teeth. He placed the nail filer in his pocket as he transformed into his wolf form and trotted in silence downstairs past the thug stallions. He sneaked up behind a thug as he turned back into his normal self and jabbed the nail filer hard into his neck. The stallion thug gasped and gagged for air as his blood sprayed and dripped out. The three other thugs all pulled out their swords and daggers as they charged towards Eagle who shape shifted into an eagle and flew to the chandelier. He was attached to the chain as he took the nail filer and like a inmate, he filed the chains of the chandelier until it snapped crushing two thugs, spilling more blood across the carpets of the store. Eagle landed saftley on the ground from his eagle flight as he picked up a long sword from one of the thugs, it was simple and made of iron. The final thug was wearing a dark black poncho with a hood shielding his eyes. Eagle closely examined a designed patch on his shoulder, it looked like a coffin with a dark laughing face, along with a skeleton arm. "So, who are you guys?" Eagle interrogated as he readied his sword aiming the point at the thug. "I am part of the Laughing Coffins guild. And you are our number one target, 'Eagle'." The guild member knew his name, Eagle frowned as the guild member pulled out his sword. "These were just mercenaries I hired, they mean nothing to us." "A life always means something." "Like your wife's?" What!? Eagle's faced turned from red to gray at the sound of the information. He gripped the sword as he charged towards the killer only to find him deflecting his attack, but Eagle scooped a fist under as he forced an uppercut on the guild member's shin. He flew up and slammed to the floor on his back as his sword bounced off his hand. He stood up and pulled out a knife and charged towards Eagle and stabbed it through his stomach, Eagle then grabbed his wrist and pulled back his first for another uppercut. His fist turned to fire as he smirked. He brought up his flaming fist forcing his body to lift from the floor as he sent the guild member flying with his body set on fire. "Shoryuken!!!" Eagle roared as the guild member broke through the boutique's structure, his burning body was quickly diminished from the rain as he fell face flat on the muddy ground. Eagle slowly walked out, ignoring the rain as he picked up the guild member and held him by his neck as he pulled out his hatchet and placed the blade on his neck. "Who sent you!?" Eagle asked with a dark tone as he pressed the blade against the guild member's neck leaking blood. "Geh.... our master did... he wants you....dead." The guild member said with a big maniacal smile across his face. "Well tell him to get me himself." Eagle said as he slit his throat making his cough and wheeze out blood as he soon perished from his own blood. Eagle heavily sighed as he let the rain wash off any remaining blood from his clothes as he walked back upstairs. He shimmered his horns as he repaired the glass chandelier and the hole in the ceiling, and placed the mercenaries' corpses outside along with the guild member, he would deal with it later. He walked back upstairs as he knocked on the door the two sisters hid in. "Rarity, it's me." "Is it over?" Her voice muffled through the door. "Yea." Eagle gave out with a heavy breath as Rarity opened the door only to let out a gasp in horror of Eagle's wound. "Darling you're hurt!" She said as Eagle held his wound tightly. "Get inside, Sweetie call the hospital!!!" "NO!" Eagle interuppted as the two looked at him in shock. "I've had worse, I'll be fine. Just....just get me some bandages, some fabric, and some hot water." "Are you sure darling, I mean." "Trust me Rarity, I know what I'm doing." Eagle said as he huffed down on the couch. He continued to hold down the pressure on his wound as Rarity soon came with a bandage wrap, a bucket of hot water, and a piece of fabric. "Alright, first I need you to wrap the fabric into a ball, then I need you to apply the hot water onto my wound and quickly wrap the bandage around me." The two sisters agreed as Eagle shimmered his horn making his upper clothes disappeared only to reveal a separate bandage wrap on his upper body. Sweetie noticed it as she perked up. "Hey what-" "Don't worry about it." Eagle said as he placed the ball of fabric into his mouth. "Guurr!!!" (GO!) Eagle screamed through the fabric as he let go of his wound. Rarity slowly poured the hot water on his wound as he screamed in agony and pain, but only proven to be silenced by the fabric in his mouth as Rarity wrapped the bandage around Eagle's body. As she secured the bandage, Eagle started to breath heavily as his horn shimmered over his wound. "Alright, I can take it from here." "What are you doing to your wound?" Sweetie Belle asked as she tilted her head. "It's medical magic, it slowly treats and mends my wound until it's normal. But It also prevents me from using any other magic spells." Eagle said as he stood and up grunted in pain. "I gotta go, Rarity is my raincoat ready?" "Yes but, where are you going?" "I need to pick up my dog, I left him at Fluttershy's place." "Well, if you're sure." The two walked downstairs as Rarity pulled out a dark brown raincoat from her work station. Eagle applied the raincoat poncho as he looked at himself in the mirror. "Looks good, thanks. Now how much will this cost?" He asked as Rarity raised her hand. "No need darling, you saved me and my little sister. I think that is enough." "Well if you say so, goodbye Rarity. And tell Sweetie Belle I said farewell as well." Rarity nodded as Eagle took off towards the storm and made his way towards Fluttershy's cottage. He fought through the storm as pellets of water repeatedly poked his face and the wind swiped across his face, breezing his lips and eyes as they felt cold like ice. As he reached the cottage, he pounded on the door to try and beat the sound of thunder and the pounding rain on his back. The door opened revealing the butter mare as the wind burst through the front door and blasted her hair back. "Hey Fluttershy, can I come in!?" He yelled through the door as Fluttershy nodded. Eagle walked inside as Fluttershy closed the door behind him. He sat down on the couch as he shivered off any remaining rain from his coat. "Thanks Fluttershy." "Oh... it's no problem Eagle. You're here for Rebel right?" "Yea...I was gonna take him home." "Through that storm?" Fluttershy gasped as Eagle simply nodded. "Oh no, you can't go out there. Stay here for the night....um.... if you want to." "Are you sure Fluttershy? I don't want to be a burden-" Eagle was interrupted as Fluttershy raised a hand. "No it's perfectly fine. I don't wan't anypony to freeze out and get a cold from the storm." "Well if you say so." Eagle shrugged as he lied back on the couch. "I can take the couch, don't worry about it." Eagle said as he looked around. "Where's Rebel?" "Oh, he's playing with Winona." "Winona? Isn't she that one dog that Applejack owns?" "Y-Yes, he's sleeping in the other room next to her." She said nervously as Eagle cocked an eyebrow. "W-would you....um....like some dinner?" "Uh sure. What do you got in mind?" "Well I just made a minestrone soup in the kitchen. Would you like to have some?" "Yea sure." Fluttershy soon got up and flew towards the kitchen as Eagle gently laid back and relaxed. Fluttershy soon came back with a tray of two bowls of soup with an extra bowl with bread, she sat across from Eagle on the other couch as the two ate and chat. Fluttershy had told about her friends and the challenges and adventures that had happen to her. As for Eagle, he had told her the times of adventure and fun he had of Canterlot. After they finished, Eagle said his thanks and they washed the dishes and headed for bed, as for Eagle, he went for the couch. He lied down as he soon drifted towards a sleep. Eagle was out in the fields, looking as young as ever. The wind patted and slid across his face as he felt the smooth carpet like grass against his back. He looked to his left to see that there was a young mare, almost his age, snuggling him on his side. She was white like a pillow and her hair was blond like gold. As Eagle reached her mane to brush, his hand simply phased through her like water, her image then disappeared like water as Eagle sighed heavily. "Eagle?" Eagle flinched with shrunken eyes as he turned behind him. He saw a navy blue alicorn with a sparkling midnight flowing mane. "A-A-Auntie Luna!?" > Chapter 12: Partially A NightMare > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 12: Partially A NightMare Eagle stood there, speechless, his own aunt Luna was standing before him. The sister of Celestia, the one that he hated the most like a wolf and her pups. As for Luna, she was the same, her mouth was gaped open, enough to hit the floor. And her turquoise eyes shrank and released a dam full of tears at the site of his age. It's never changed. "E-Eagle.....that was your name. M-My nephew...Eagle...." "Oh I wish I could wake up right now." Eagle said in a cold as he frowned at Princess Luna. He reached for his sword and brought it our, only to feel a tsunami of pain course through his body. He quickly retracted his sword, fell to his knees, and held his stomach in pain. Princess Luna rushed over to help him, only to be stopped by Eagle's raised hand. "Eagle, what has happened to you? I thought you were dead?" Luna gasped in shock as she sat down in front of Eagle, who only glared at her with black flaming hatred. He grunted as he sat straight with legs crossed as he waited for this dream to end. "I suppose you have questions then." He predicted in a cold tone as Luna nodded and gulped. "I have only three. How.....How.....How are you?" "......Fine....." He asked in a flat tone as the night princess rushed to him and embraced him. Luna could feel the tears rushing down her shoulders. But to Eagle, he felt an annoying dampness on his shoulders, but most of all....nothing. "Get off me now auntie." He coldly demanded as the lunar princess released her grip. "Where are you Eagle?" She asked as Eagle gave a heavy sigh. "Nowhere special, let's just say, near Canterlot. One more question auntie." "Will you ever forgive her?" Eagle grew silent, it stayed for what felt like hours, but only mere minutes. He gave a huff of frustration as he stood up, still holding his stomach. "I don't know. My heart is saying to forgive her, my mind is saying to punish, myself......I don't know. But, what I do know is, other people know about my past." The sounds of those words shocked Luna as she put a hand over her mouth. "Auntie I need you to do me a favor. Some stallions, I don't know who, but they want to hunt me down." "Ho-" "I do not know how they know me, but I know one thing. They know about her" Eagle said as the dream world began to rumble. "Seems it's almost morning. Auntie, can you do me a favor and not reveal my name?" "I must, for-" "For who's safety? I'm not gonna hurt anypony, just Celestia. In a very painful way. And if you spoil this, then so help me Faust, I will kill somepony dear to you. Not Celestia, but somepony else." "Who?" "I Believe you don't want to visit their funeral." Eagle warned as the dream world began to crack with light as Eagle slightly chuckled. "But auntie, keep on the watch for this symbol." Eagle said as he popped up the same guild picture he saw from the Laughing Coffin's guild member from the other night. He made the image turn into a physical picture and he handed it to Luna. "They know something about me. Oh and by the way, Ta taa." He said as he started to fade away from the dream realm. "No wait-" Luna tried to reach her hand out towards Eagle, but her hand simply phased through Eagle particles as it was soon faded. ----------1005 years ago, 1 day after the kiss---------- Sole sat in her room, alone, and hopefully she wished it would stay that way. She made the worst choice in her life, she kissed her superior, more than that, she took advantage of him. She heard a soft knock from her door as she ignored it and continued to cry. "Sole..." She could hear Eagle trying to talk to her though the door, but she just didn't want to talk. All she could do was cry. "Sole..." "Go away!" Eagle felt pain, though not enough to stop him from trying to comfort his soldier. He huffed as he pulled out a pin from his pouch and bent and folded it to size, he also took out another pin and tucked both pins inside the door's knob and moved them around until he heard a satisfying 'click'. He opened the door only to be bombarded by a storm of pillows and other harmful object that Sole just threw, he blocked them all with his hands and moved forward until he grasped Sole's arm, making her stop. "Will you just stop and talk to me!" Eagle snapped at her small sidekick, but she didn't cringe nor fight back. "I can't okay!? I just....can't." She said as she returned to her weeping self. Eagle sighed with a small pinch of sadness as he sat down next to her, wrapped his arm around her shoulder, and brought her in, having her cry against his chest. "It's alright, let it all out." Eagle said calmly, patting her head as he closed the door with his magic and surrounded themselves with a bubble like barrier. There, now no one will see or hear us, last thing we need is embarrassment. Eagle said in his mind as Sole continued to cry on his chest. "Keep going, you have nothing to be ashamed of. When you're ready to talk, go ahead, I'm right here." Sole cried for hours, no literally she cried for four hours onto Eagle's chest. Eagle never bothered her, never interrupted her, and never left her. He didn't feel like napping, or talking, just listening her weep and cry. Sole sniffed and only hiccuped slightly, lessening her weeps. "Okay... *sniff* ... I think I'm ready." She said as she raised her head only to reveal reddened eyes and baggy lids. "Okay." Eagle gave a deep breath as he cleared his throat. "Take your time, and just take it easy. If you wan't to stop and continue another time, go ahead." "Okay." Sole took a deep breath as she cleared her throat for a lecture. "It all started when I was but a little filly. I remember that my grandfather would take me to the castle sometimes. We would walk around the castle as he would get me cake or let me run around the castle, I remember I would play with Princess Luna as she chased me around. I also remember that I saw something or someone behind the castle's columns. I came in one day with my grandfather as he had to talk with his fellow guards, so he left me alone in the castle. "I walked around the castle, almost everywhere. I walked inside Celestia's room and she would give me a book or two about magic. She would also read a story to me, about her mother. When I would finish with her, I would still wonder around the castle looking for something to entertain my visit. I would visit the kitchen for sweets, the barracks to try and carry and real sword, or even to the garden to play with the animals. But then I came to the outside grounds of the castle, about a mile away from the castle's view. I remember seeing you on the fields, and I didn't know why. I wanted to get closer, to know who you were. And all I knew is that you looked amazing, a colt of your age was practicing what a average unicorn could do. I saw you make an image of yourself, almost like a clone, and it disappeared as if it was a foal's first steps." "That was my secret training spot back then, I used it to avoid painters and sketch artists." Eagle remembered as he started to brush Sole's mane with his hand. "Every time that my grandfather took me to the castle, I always wanted to spy on you. To know who you were, and I liked you. I remember when I saw you spread your wings to the sky, drop a sandbag thinking it was a falling pony and swoop from up and under to save the fake pony like a hero. I liked for who you were, you wanted to protect. I also remember you turning a small pile of rocks into a rock being, and you knocked it down with a stick and I remember these words "I will protect my ponies", you used to say. I would giggled but smile at your silliness." Eagle chuckled at his foalhood, he would remember those sandbags being innocent ponies. The rock monster he made would be his imaginary Discord and he would slay it. Although, 'slay' was something that his aunties wouldn't really approve that much. "Yea, I remember those days." He said with a smile and Sole chirped another sniff. "I-I have a small confession to make." "Hmm? What is it?" Eagle asked with a cocked eyebrow of confusion. "I-I-I Didn't really tell you the truth when you asked me why I joined the guard. I only joined just to get close to you, and impress you." She said with a small bead running down her cheek, fearing he would rant and rage. But Eagle simply chuckled. "Really?" He started to smile, strange to Sole's attention. "Wow, I have to say that I'm impressed. You are strong, very strong. You were really tough out there, you never gave up, never gave in, or never gave me a complaint or even talked back." There was a silence between the two for a short while, making Sole bite her lip. "I-I-I-I-, I wanna say one more thing." Eagle raised his eyebrow and looked at the mare in her amethyst purple eyes. "I just wanna say that I....I really like you, a lot." Eagle sat there with Sole on his chest in silence. "Y'know, you made a huge sacrifice for me. I think it's time for your reward." Eagle smirked as he leaned down and pecked his lips on her's making her blush but smile. "I guess all I'm saying is, I like you too Sole, you got spirit." ----------Present---------- Eagle woke up with a gasp and cold sweat, but also a serving of dog slobber as he found Rebel on top of him, close to his face with his tongue slanging out with drops of spit leaking out. Eagle sat up as Rebel jumped off of his lap as Eagle smeared off his face and whipped it off his hand. "Ughh.... Rebel......dammit boy." Eagle got up from the couch as he stretched out his arms, he noticed that it was still dark and he looked at the clock. " 5 am, I'm wide awake. He looked around as Rebel simply tilted his head and ears, he looked around to find a stray notepad and pen. He took the tools as he started to write down a short note. Dear Fluttershy, Eagle here, I woke up early and left for home. Remind me to pay you back if we talk again, also I needed to do something home so I had to go. Tell Winona that Rebel bark's 'hi' and to the same to you. -Eagle Eye Eagle placed the note on the couch as he opened the door for him and Rebel to leave. While it was still dark, he could still see through the shrouds. He started to exit Fluttershy's property until something caught his eye, a stone. But not just any stone, it was like a boulder. He walked towards the boulder and placed his palm on it, he found it chiseled and designed, it seemed familiar to him. He noticed a pathway leading to a dark, shrouded forest, he proceeded to follow the path to figure out where this carved boulder came from. Rebel followed him closely and whimpered in fear as he bit Eagle's coat and pulled him away from going any further. "Don't worry boy, just stay at the entrance. I'll be back shortly." Eagle said as Rebel trotted back to the entrance of the forest. Eagle continued to follow the dark forest path as another thing caught his eye. It was a plate like object struck in the ground. Eagle placed his hand on the plate, he noticed handles behind it. "This must be a shield, but why's this here?" Eagle asked himself inside his mind as he noticed some dirt on the face of the shield. He scraped it off as it revealed an image of a sun. A sun? On a shield....no way, this can't be it. Eagle only had a portion of the puzzle pieced as he continued to walk down the path. What's wrong? What's with that shield you freaked out at? I don't know, but it's an old model. Old model? Hmm.... y'know, I think I remember that shield actually. Yea, because it's an old model. Shields now aren't shaped like a circle. Well than what's an old Equestrian guard shield doing here then? Beats me, maybe some poor bugger got lost here and was never found. Eagle stopped as the path led him to an opening of moonlight in the forest. He stood there. his eyes shrunk as a bead of sweat escaped his head. N-No, it can't be..... He looked in awful shock at the structure in front of him. It wasn't much, and it was in poor ruin, but he wouldn't forget this place. Eagle gave a gulp and then released a heavy sigh from his mouth. It was the old castle, the first place that he could call home. He walked towards the castle in ruin as he placed the palm of his fingers on the stone, it was old. He walked inside as he could see an empty pedestal that would hold six orbs. This is where she defeated Nightmare Moon. Yea, you gotta admit though, she did better than you could've done. Oh? And how would she do that. She didn't kill the moon on the inside. ... You know she does better than you'll ever do. Whatever, all I know is that we did almost most of the work. Eagle ignored as he noticed a set of stone stairs leading down into what looked like a basement. He traveled down the stairs to find an that the stairs lead into a destroyed part of the castle. All he could see was a chasm into a canyon, so deep that it looked endless. Eagle wanted to leave, this ruined castle brought up too many painful memories. He walked up the stairs, and walked the opposite direction from the path he came in from. He was soon reunited with Rebel as they made their way back to town. Eagle open the blue door to his home as he discovered from his clock that only half an hour had passed. He still had three and a half hours left until work. "Might as well walk around the town. Wanna go for a walk boy?" The husky wagged his tail rapidly and barked in glee and ran around in dance for one answer, 'yes'. Eagle appeared a leash with a snap from his magic as he clipped the end to Rebel's collar and opened the door. Rebel warped through, letting the leash slip out of his hand. Rebel sped out into the unknown parts of the town as Eagle sighed. "Dammit, not again." Rebel attempted to catch up to the little speed demon, but ended up loosing his tracks like a confused predator. "He'll be back." Eagle said to himself with determination as he found himself lonely and bored of what to do. He then did the next best thing, walk. He walked around the town, just gazing on the classical and calm architecture of each building. It was calm, quiet, peaceful, and relaxing being an antonym to the city of Manehatten where it grasped building nearly as high as a yew, ponies screaming from every hour to second, and danger, always rising as if a syndicate was hiding in the shadows. He walked around some more as he noticed that Sugar Cube Corner had it's lights on inside. "That place open?" He asked himself as he walked towards the bakery, he looked through the window to find only a pinch of ponies inside sipping coffee and reading, one of them being Twilight Sparkle. Eagle raised an eyebrow as he walked inside and approached the mustard yellow stallion at the counter, who seemed half asleep as he rested his head the palm of his hand while his elbow acted as a beam, supported his head like a pillow. He gently slapped the counter with his hand causing the baker to shoot up in surprise as he dropped his pen. "Whaa huhh!?!" The stallion looked at Eagle with a daze but quickly shook himself awake. "Dahh uh, sorry sir." He apologized as Eagle held up a hand in acceptance. The stallion reached down to grab his pen and pulled out a notepad from his apron and turn to the next empty page. "So, what can I get for you sir?" "Just a coffee, black." Eagle ordered as the stallion nodded and turned to the back to his coffee pot. He poured a mug of black caffeine as he handed it to the stallion. "4 bits please." Eagle nodded as he pulled out 4 golden coins from his pouch and placed them on the counter. The two traded as Eagle looked around the cafe on where to sit, even thought there were plenty of empty seats, he wanted to know a small detail. Why the moon is Twilight here at like five thirty in the fucking morning? Eagle thought with a massive shock of confusion as he walked towards the mare who was reading a book along with a cup of joe. "Hey." The mare perked up and turned to surprise as he gazed at the stallion with a tiny blush. "Eagle? What are you doing here this early?" "Well I was gonna ask you the same thing." "But I asked first." "Fine. My dog wanted to go for a walk, plus I couldn't sleep. What about you? Why are you here to early?" "Well I like to be up bright and early with a book to read, and since this place opens early with coffee, it's a perfect morning start." Twilight explained as Eagle shrugged. Twilight placed her hand on the seat next to her as she started to pat. "Come, sit, I want to get to know you better." Eagle shrugged as he sat down with his coffee. "So, what'chu wanna talk about?" "Well, pretty much just about you. I mean, what did you do in Canterlot? Any hobbies or crazy stories?" "Well.....I did make some.... I guess some..... spirited friends in Canterlot." "Hmm? Like who?" "Well, let's just say they were bums." "Bums?" "Hobos." "You make friends with hobos? Why? They are pretty worthless and very revolting." Twilight repulsed with a sour face. "Now hold your horses, sure they don't money, a bed to sleep on, or a job. But they know how to keep a smile, and a spirit going." Eagle defended as he took a sip from his coffee. "And besides, they would've been the nicest and most normal ponies you'd find in Canterlot anyways, well, other than Fancy Pants." Eagle commented as Twilight spit her coffee in shock. "You know THE Fancy Pants?" "Yea, me and him used to hang out for a time. That is until he was investing into business, that's when we started to get rich." And again, Twilight spit out her coffee in shock. "Wait a minute! You were a co-CEO of the 'Fancy Magazine' with Fancy Pants!?!?" "Yea....for a time. I didn't really feel right with all that money and business on my hands. So I gave the entire corporation to Fancy, even through he somewhat begged for me to stay, I told him I had promise to fulfill." Eagle said as he rubbed the bandages behind his jacket on his back. "A promise to who." Eagle's eyes shrank as he looked at the corners of his eyes. Good job....you...really fucked up. Oh shut up. I'll try and think of something. "Well, it's a promise to myself." "What kind of promise?" "Well....it's kinda private Twilight." "Oh...sorry, I shouldn't have tried to pry." 'Its alright, just don't talk about it. Well I don't know about you, but I'm gonna go try to catch some Zs, then see ya at work." "Alright, see ya Eagle." "Farewell." Eagle finished his coffee as he left it where he sat. The coffee wasn't as good or 'pumped' as the 'usual' he would receive in Catnerlot, but it was still coffee either way. The taste of assistance is always a start in the morning. He started to walk home after a strange encounter and a strange talk with Twilight. As he reached his blue doored humble abode, he entered his room and slumped down on the bed. He was looking at his clock to see only 45 minutes had passed. He had nothing else to do, so all he could do, was sleep until the work would slowly ascend. > Chapter 13: Mystery Stallion > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 13: Mystery Stallion It has been a few weeks since Eagle and Rebel have moved into the town of Ponyville. He's grown to be more accustomed to the townsfolk, he's gained hard earned bits, and became a third dependable assistant of Twilight. Though none of Twilight's friends has seen where he or Rebel has lived for the passed few weeks, which was good for him considering he likes to keep for himself. Though Eagle has spent much time in Ponyville, he can remember it like riding a bike. The locations, hiding spots, alleys, cafes, restaurants, and even the dangerous and abandoned locations he would try and be cautious about. Twilight and her friends were all eating their lunch at Sugar Cube Corner, chatting, joking, and for Pinkie's usual, wall breaking. Rainbow Dash had just gulped down her last drop of cider as her ears perked up a theory, she faced Twilight with a look of disgust. "What's wrong Rainbow?" Twilight asked. "Y'know, that Eagle guy's been working for you for like, weeks now right?" Twilight nodded. "How come he's been acting kinda suspicious?" "Whad'ya mean Rainbow?" Applejack asked as she gulped down her second bottle of apple juice. "Ah mean the stallion's doing work, I can respect that, but how does that make him suspicious?" "I don't mean that!" Rainbow spat along with some flakes of cider towards Applejack face as the specs plastered her. She wiped them off as she gave Rainbow a look of a red bull. "Sorry." Rainbow apologized sheepishly as she continued on with her argument. "Anyways, I've been following the stallion for the past few weeks, but never have I seen his house or estate. I mean like, Twilight he's new to the town right?" "I-I suppose so, he has told me in his interview that he moved in a few weeks ago." "Well haven't you wondered where he's lived?" "I...suppose it did cross my mind. Wait, what do you mean by following him?" "Y'know, I tailed his flank to see where he lives. But every time I do, he approaches this dark alley along with his dog and he's just gone." "Dear, you may want to be more precise than that." Rarity narrowed as she sipped her tea. "I mean gone, poof, vamoose, he's just gone. No hoofprint, no hair, nor any trace of the stallion or dog." She huffed out she as she sat in air, fluttering her wings. "I can smell trouble about that Eagle guy, I just know it." Rainbow Dash theorized as another mug of hard cider clunked down from above, Dash 'squeed' and attempted to chug down the mug as everypony laughed. ----------Meanwhile--------- "Aaaaaaand here is the 'Guide to Cooks' book you wanted Ms. Cheerilee." Eagle said as he pulled out a large leathery cover and handed it to the local teacher. "Tell me, why would you need a cook book for a classroom?" "Oh its not for the class, I have a date coming over tomorrow." "Oh really? With who?" "Hmmm.... he's someone special to me." "Well I shouldn't press forward so I'll just leave you alone. Have a nice day." Cheerilee nodded as she closed her door as Eagle had huffed at his success. He walked through the streets of the small town as he yawned. He's worked most of the day and felt slightly tired. He started to walk around town looking for something to snack on. He found the local fruit market and bought an orange, apple, and a bottle of water. He then walked to the park as he found a nearby shady tree to rest under. He sat as the wind blew against his coat and the light slightly bathe his skin. Eagle held up the apple as he pulled out the stem, he then place his palms on the top portion of the apple and his fingers at the bottom as he started to pull the apple from opposite ends. With enough strength, he cracked the apple in half as he placed on half on the ground and gobbled the other. He then took the orange and look around. Nopony seemed to be around the park, so he 'poofed' out his hatchet and started to rub the orange skin against the sharp blade, peeling it in one line, one funny, twirly peel. He then rubbed the hatchet's blade at the center of the citrus sphere as he cut it in half, eating one half of the orange. He sighed as he pillowed his hands behind his head as he relaxed against his tree. "I'm sure Twilight won't mind if I take a break." His eyelids slowly came to a close as he was fast asleep, softly snoring as the wind slightly breathed on him. "Excuse me, Eagle Eye is it?' Eagle mumbled and woke up to find a neon pink mare with a aqua blue mane standing over him, she was holding a basket full of multiple flowers and bottles of ointments of health and relief. "Yes, and you are?" Sounding slightly annoyed from being disturbed. "I don't think you remember me. My name is Aloe, you assisted my sister from her drunken state." "Oh yea, your sister Lotus correct?" Aloe nodded as Eagle stood up and stretched, multiple pops came from his back as he shook himself shake off the stress. "Yea well I was glad I could help." "As appreciation for helping my sister, I would love to offer you a free massage." "Hmmmmm...... No thanks." Eagle simply turned down as he arced his arm over his head causing both to pop. He bent down his back until he heard a crack, not something you wanna hear on your back. "Gah!" Eagle held his back as he knelt down in pain. Aloe hurried to his aid as she placed a hand on his back, and pulled her hand back covering her mouth in shock. "Mon Dieu!, You've caused so much stress to your back! What have you been doing?" "Work....plain and simple work....." Eagle said looking away from her, reminiscing all that's happened in the past few weeks, which was working for Twilight Sparkle. "Please you must come with me to release that stress of your, I insist." eagle looked away from her and tried to straighten his back, which only made it worse. Aloe rolled her eyes as she pressed two fingers against a certain spot on his back causing Eagle to stand up straight. "Ugh fine." Eagle grunted. "You own the spa along with Lotus right?" She nodded. "Where is it?" "Just about a mile away straight from here." Eagle nodded as he teleported about a mile from where the two stood. He found that the spa was a sizable building as Aloe assisted him inside. She led him to a massage bed as he sat on the bed and held his back. "I am sorry Mr. Eagle but you'll have to take off your upper body clothing, its easier for me to work for situations like this." Eagle grunted but agreed as he unzipped his jacket and took of his shirt. Aloe looked upon his muscular structure as she blushed and gently pushed him as his chest pressed against the bed and his face through the head rest. "Now just relax." She gently instructed as Eagle took in a breath and breathed out. Aloe gently bumped her hands and provided several massage tactics as Eagle began to feel the stress lift from his back. While Aloe was massaging his back, she noticed two equivalent bumps poking out of his coat, almost like they were there by birth. They were also wrapped in a layer of bandages but she thought it'd be best not to ask personal injuries. For Eagle he still felt this one last pain in his back that Aloe couldn't seem to reach. "Uh Aloe, I think there's like, something deep in there." Aloe hummed to herself as she perked with a solution, she reached under the massage bed as she pulled out a few needles as Aloe simply smiled. "What are you doin- OW!" Aloe held down his body to resist his flinch from the needle she had just pressed against his back. "What the hell was that?" "Needles." Aloe smiled as Eagle's eyes shrank, he tried to move but found himself paralyzed as he found that his back was like a porcupine, covered in needles. He couldn't feel his arms, legs, or back, he felt numb. He couldn't even feel his magic course through himself. "Almost done, just one more needle to release the stress, and I'll pull them out." Aloe advised as she pressed one last needle in his back causing Eagle to suddenly feel like he had just drunken a bowl of sun dew, lifting his spirit, as well as his back. Aloe began to pluck every thin fruit from his back until the last one was plucked, lifting Eagle's freedom to move around. He sat up and stretched, feeling no pain, like years had been lifted against his age. "Wow!" He huffed in relief as he stretched his arms. "Didn't know that you could do that to pressure points. I thought they'd be useful for combat, but this changes the lessons I've learned." "Yes, there are multiple pressure points that you can either acupuncture or massage to relieve stress. Do you know a few pressure points?" "Yes, but they are slightly harmful." "Oh posh, how harmful could they be?" Eagle shrugged as he pinched his finger and thumb next to Aloe's shoulder as she shrunk down and hissed in pain. She nearly fell as Eagle caught her and let go of her pressure point. "That harmful." Eagle deadpanned. "If I was a stranger and I did that, you would've been in serious trouble." Eagle advised as he bowed down to Aloe in thanks. "Thank you Aloe for the treatment, it was very helpful. Remind me to pay you back one day." Aloe held her hand up and shook her head in rejection. "No it's okay, it was my pleasure." "Well then au revoir." (Goodbye) eagle said as he snapped his figures and magic in his horn as he teleported in front of Twilight's library. He walked inside and knocked the door frame to signal a nearby sleeping dragon on the main table, causing him to snap up from the plank wood of the table as he saluted like a guard. "I wasn't sleeping I was ree-.... oh, hi Eagle." "Hello Spike, sleeping again eh?" "Yea, stupid Twilight wants me to read more, when I could be sleeping or watching T.V." Spike complained like a baby as he crossed his arms and slightly puffed out green fire from his nose. "Well couldn't you watch T.V. now?" "If Twilight caught me slacking off, she would ban me from T.V. for a week. I'd rather not risk that." "I guess that is true. Well is there any new orders today?" "Just a few, here's a couple of books to drop off, and a few to pick up." Spike said as he handed Eagle a list that was already organized by Twilight. Eagle took the list, skimmed through the list as he nodded and placed it in his pocket. He gave his farewells to the reading dragon, leaving him to his nap as he left the library and closed the door behind him. ----------Meanwhile---------- Twilight had left Sugar Cube Corner just minutes ago, along side her was Rarity and Fluttershy to do their usual favorite activity together, spa time. The three arrived at the spa department as Rarity stepped up towards the front counter. "Oh giiirrrrrls~~~~." She hymned as Aloe soon zipped towards the front. "Three usual please." "Oh course Miss Rarity." The three friends followed Aloe as the three were soon acquainted with their just likes. Rarity was wrapped with several layers of kelp with cucumbers on her eyes, as well as mud covering her face, and her hair tied in a ponytail. While Rarity took her extreme measures to look fabulous, Twilight and Fluttershy just took to a simple spa mineral bath. "Aloe, forgive me for asking but, where is your sister Lotus?" "She is visiting out cousin in ManeHatten while I look over the shop Miss Rarity." "My you must be working hard all by yourself." "Oh, well I haven't had much customers Miss Rarity, only one so far." "Oh? And who may that me?" "It was Eagle Eye, Twilight you know him right? He was with you when you both rescued my sister from her drunken state." Twilight blushed as she looked at the corner of her eye, avoiding the white mare's devious smirk. "Y-Yes, he's also my delivery boy." She added as her blush intensified to a shade of crimson. "You mean like your coltfriend darling?" Rarity Cooed as Fluttershy slightly blushed. "Oh....my." Fluttershy spoke in shock. "So are you two....?" "NO!" Twilight spat out with a deeper shade of rose red. "We are not t-t-t-together." She spoke with a selfish attitude as she started to shake, causing slight vibrant waves from her spa bath. "W-w-w-were just, friends." Then, a ring from the front door rung in the girls' ears as Aloe perked up. "Oh dear, another customer. Miss Rarity, would you please wait a moment." "Oh course darling, take your time. After all, patience is a virtue." Aloe bowed in gratitude as she rushed for the front counter. As she reached, she quickly bowed in greet without knowing who the visitor was. "Hello, welcome to La 'Floraison De La Fleur', how can I help you?" (The Blooming Flower) "Um Aloe?" The beauty worker looked up as she found Eagle standing over her with a small book in his hand. "Eagle Eye, fancy we were just talking about you." Eagle looked at her confused, what did she mean by 'we'? "Who is this 'we' that you speak of?" "Oh just come with me. " Aloe insisted as she forcefully grabbed and pulled Eagle by the wrist and led him into the spa room, at first glimpse, he found 3 mares with towels covering their private areas. Eagle's face turned red as his eyes caught Twilight in the spa bath, the water was high enough to cover her 'melons'. "Aloe hang on a minute!" Eagle rebelled as he tried to resist. He was trying to pry his hand from Aloe's grip but she held on like a dog with a rope in it's mouth. For Twilight, she tried he best to cover her breasts away from Eagle, to bury as much embarrassment as she could. "Let go!" Aloe, in some unexplainable reason pulled Eagle towards her, but instead to greet, she brought Eagle to step onto a pile of soapy water causing him to slip forward and fall into a pit. Which pit you may ask? Into the same spa bath that Twilight and Fluttershy were in. Eagle shot his head up the water and found himself mere centimeters from Twilight's muzzle. The two blush as he quickly got out of the tub and shielded his eyes. "I-I-I-I-I-I-I'm sorry l-l-l-l-ladies. I was just leaving!" Eagle said in extreme panic and embarrassment as he shimmered his horn and vanished into thin air away from the mares. Twilight sat in her tub, shocked, embarrassment, surprised, happy, loved, scared, just an explainable bouquet of mixed emotions of what had just happened between her and that stallion. She didn't know what to do next, she couldn't talk to her friends, it just didn't feel like the right time. She just couldn't leave, it would be rude. Her breathing starting to increase rapidly as her vision was soon surrounded and pounced by darkness..... ----------Meanwhile---------- Eagle had teleported away from the embarrassing situation as he appeared at the front of his blue home door. He opened the door and found that the room was quite, Rebel would have pounced me with happiness by now, but now he's not here. Eagle slumped on his couch as he covered his face with shame and embarrassment. "I am so fucking fired." He groaned as he walked to the kitchen and pulled out a bottle of cider. He popped it open as he drunk it down to half the bottle, he turned on the television to see what has recently happened. In the bowls of the Equestrian sewers, a pile of bodies were found dead. There are no records or hints as to how these ponies have died but Investigator Print has the story. "Yes so here we have a count of five bodies of stallions that looked to have been murdered. 4 of these stallions are to have been recorded has mercenaries while the other is actually a member of a notorious group of assassins known as 'The Laughing Coffins'. So far we have found that these stallions have been killed with makeshift weapons and from their own as well. All that could hypothesize was that it was a job gone wrong and the stallions ended up killing themselves. Although we found traces of magic particles leftover on some of the stallions." "And I'm assuming that you know who's magic this is?" "Well that is what confuses us, normally we would be able to trace the magic particles, but this magic is different from our unicorn magic. We are unable to trace who else was affiliated with this brawl." "And do you think that this mysterious pony with the unconfirmed magic could have caused this whole thing?" "Well like I've told before we have found that these bodies have had some wounds from their different weapons. So it is still unconfirmed." ---Back to the Anchorstallion--- Well you heard it here folks, five stallions dead and one still on the run that could be affiliated, or could be the murderer. The Princesses are advising all ponies to stay close and indoors during the night in order to prevent any more murders. Eagle turned off the television as he remembered about that Laughing Coffin assassin, how he knew about her. Eagle shook his head as he walked outside and out of the alleyway. Little did he know, a certain cyan blurred cloud far above was spying on him. "Oh my gosh, is that his house?" The blur said as it flew out of the cloud in a sound as it left a rainbow trail behind it heading towards the apple farm.
