A tale of two farmers and their encounter with a group of magical horses and a group of women who shouldn't be women.

It was just a night for a few beers and the watching of a once-in-a-lifetime meteor shower for farmers/brothers Tom and Taylor. Instead, they find a group of magical ponies and a group of women who seem... very out of place.

Chapter one - Boom

Two farmers, each a brother to the other, sat on their front deck each with their own case of caned beer. A news report had stated that at this night, around twelve thirty at night, a meteor shower would be visible. This was no normal meteor shower, the news had said that no shower had come so close to earth before ensuring the view to be a once in a life-time experience.

“Hey, dude, when’s this gonna be again?”

“Arg, I already told you five times. It apparently starts at half-past twelve, and it’s twenty-seven now so be patient.”

“Meh, you know I hate waiting for shit to happen. Kinda why we aren’t sleeping to do the shearing tomorrow, ‘cause I’ve already done it.”

“Yes, I know and I’ve already thanked you for it by buying the beer. But your constant chatter is starting to make me regret it.”

The brother fell silent, wanting to keep his alcohol from his perfectionist sibling. At last, a large group of stars began twinkling and growing, moving to the non-naked eye. Then, with no noise or warning, they started to shoot across the sky in blazes of brilliant colour, growing to sizes no moving stars have ever gotten to.

“Woo, fuck yea! Now this is one hell of a show!”

“And you just ruined it. Thanks.”

“Oh stop with being a cunt and just enjoy yourself!”

“I was, until you started to holler like mad.”

“Bah, you’re never any fun.”

They once again fell into silence; watching the falling stars. The comfort of the late autumn night only slightly bristled by an early winter breeze. The two brothers sat in their lawn chairs, blankets covering their legs, and watching as the once lonesome and dark night was filled with colours beyond repeating.

The stripes and glitter of the stars was soothing in an eye-comfort kind of way and the brothers soon found themselves drifting off…

Until their ears exploded.

The entire house shook, many valuables and treasures falling and smashing, cabinets falling over and doors rattling. The two brothers were thrown about in their chairs till they fell out the deck, landing them in a muddy pit.

“Holy mother of cow living shitty tomatoes!”

“What was that, and why are we in a pile of mud?”

As they pulled themselves from the mud, they couldn’t help but notice the twin lines of fire spreading down a nearby hill.

“You can’t be serious, there is no possible way -“

“Did we just get hit by an asteroid?! Aww hell yea! We could make a fortune from this!”

Before the slightly more sensible of the brothers could say another word, the crazed money-in-mined one ran for their nearby Jeep.

“Damn it Taylor. I swear, if we get some virus or something…”

He chose to quickly follow Taylor rather than finish his sentence; like he was going to give the glory of discovering an asteroid to solely him.

“Joining the crew, eh Tommy?”

“Call that one more time and I’m keeping the money to myself.”

“Sheesh, no need to be a douche about it.”

“You can earn the right to call me that once you learn the meaning of it.”

Taylor jumped into the driver’s seat and slammed the door. “Whatever, douche.”

A few seconds later and Tom had taken the passenger side, and then they were heading in a beeline towards their destination. It didn’t take long to find a giant hole in the ground, so it took about half an hour to find it due to there not being one. Instead of a giant heap of precious metals and space rock that would make them rich forever, some space away from a dying circle of flames…

The Jeep slowed to a halt, the brothers jumping out and wandering closer. They approached the first of six, and it was… pink.

“This cannot, absolutely cannot, be real. It, it just has to be, I don’t know, some kind of prank, or at least a hallucination.”

“No. Fucking. WAY! OH MY GIDDY AUNT ON A POGO!”

“I need a wall, by heads not hurting enough.”

The pink horse looked up at the mortally brain hurting man and his bonkers manic brother who was hopping on the spot, then snorted and going back to chewing on the ground.

“Aww, I was expecting a bigger reaction then that. Oh, I know,” Taylor cupped his hands; being sure he faced the group of six horses, and shouted “WAZ UP MA HOMIES?”

The horses give him their attention, then started to now. An orange one and a sky-blue one, who had its wings flared, moved to the front while the pink one took to standing with the other four at the back, a yellow one being extra careful not to be seen at the far end. They stared at the man for a minute, then went back to ignoring them and chewing on grass.

As they watched, Taylors smile slowly shrank while Toms grew.

“Hey, guess what, it’s not them.” Tom only snickered at his brothers hopeful face now demolished.

“Bu, bu, bu, but…”

They stood there for another few minutes admiring the six oddly colour ponies, some with extra appendages. At last Tom started to move back towards the Jeep, the keys still inside.

Taylor turned and watched him start the automobile. “Hey, what are you doing?”

“Well, I’m not going to leave free livestock lying around,” he replied, slowly moving the Jeep in a direction that would push the ponies in the direction of the stables they owned. “Besides, how awesome would it be to say we owned a bunch of unicorns and pegasi?”

“About as awesome as the FBI showing up at our front door,” Taylor said. “But I could use the bragging rights.” He ran to the passenger door and slide in. “Alright, let’s do this thing!”

“One thing first, it wouldn’t be the FBI showing up because this isn’t America.”

“Yea, well their still gonna be pissed we got aliens raining on our heads and they don’t.”

“True enough,” was all Tom said before slamming his fist on the horn.

^\/^\/^\/^

“Eww, I think I stepping something.”

“Oh calm down girl, if this is a farm like Ah think it is, then you shouldn’t worry about it unless it’s hairy.”

“Arg, what kind of way to move is this? I would rather just fly up and see where we were, but I don’t have any wings! This is so annoying.”

“What kind of animal can walk like this anyway? The hind legs are way too long and very inappropriate.”

“Girls! Over there! Lights!”

“Good going Shy, shouldn’t take us more than ten minutes I say.”

“Finally, let’s get a move on!”

^\/^\/^\/^

The meteor shower continued over head as Tom and Taylor closed the latch on the stable door.

“Well that went better than expected,” stated Tom after making sure the padlock was tight.

“Yea, I half expected them to –“

Taylor suddenly cutting off was not usual, so Tom spun half expecting him to be unconscious or kidnapped. Instead, he was just staring with his jaw on the floor, staring off into the distance.

Tom waved his hand in his face a few times. “Hey, you alright there?”

All Taylor did was point at the distance. “Look, over there.” Tom did, and he saw a group of human shaped silhouettes against the sparkles and glow of the stars, walking on their hands and feet, like so their bums were high in the air. “Just, I don’t, what the fuck. I mean, just, what.”

Tom quickly checked his watch, tapping it a few times to bring it’s built in light on. “Yep, it’s Monday.”

“Oh.” Taylors face regained movement and he himself checked Toms watch. “So it is. That explains a lot.”

“To bed?”

“To bed.”

Chapter two - Ghosts

View Online

Morning broke over the east coast of New Zealand, shining light over a moderate sized farm and its flocks. The cries of sheep and cattle echoed around the hilly landscape and through the river. The yellow of dehydrated grass and trees slowly losing their touch on the land because of the recent downpour that saved it. Ocean waves broke on the beach that sat snug up close to the farm, producing a calming background noise.

Tom had never been great at mornings, leaving the heavier and more physical tasks to his brother while he dealt with the other problems, such as paperwork and bills. So as the sun started to show its light through his window to interrupt his sleep, he just kicked at the wall, knocking down the blinds and leaving his room in darkness again. After a short groan he shuffled about in bed and dozed off again.

Taylor on the other hand, had never been one for sleep. It might have been his hatred of waiting, but he was always doing something; whether it was building a new shed to tearing apart old cars, not that he ever knew what he was doing. When the sun eagerly pushed through his light curtains, he partially rose with it.

It didn’t take long to do his morning dressing and eating before he was out the door in his favourite red checker shirt and worn faded jeans. Then he stood there. He had already done everything yesterday so they could watch the shower. Well, bugger me.

With nothing better to do, he chose to sort through that old pile of junk they had in the barn, he was sure there were parts he could use for a water filter. Of course, they didn’t actually need one, but the same could be said for his other one he built, which currently sat in shed number fifteen.

He took in his surroundings, trying to see it in someone else’s eyes. There was no real point to this, other than a daydream he occasionally fed; leading a group of young female fans around his sheds and talking about all the priceless things he had made.

Taylor walked towards the barn and past all eighteen of his sheds, all set in a long row. As he walked, his mind drifted to his daydream and he began to talk to himself as if people were actually listening.

“Well, ladies, this is my first shed. It composes of my earliest creations and is quite the reminder of my younger times.” He smiled for the cameras, but the flashes never came. “I have an old go-kart, motor included, a rigged set of speakers to produce twice the normal sound, and an exact copy of my dad’s old rifle; made only from pictures.”

He winked at a tree. “In the next five sheds we have my teenage years, where I started to get a bit more,” he dropped his voice and gave an hard glare to a nearby sheep. “Dangerous.”

The sheep looked at the farmer and tilted its head in confusion, “Baa?”

“Hmm, yes, quite, Oh and over here…”

After a good fifteen minutes of chatting up trees Taylor finally reached the barn; the old wooden beams standing strong and shattered and dusty windows allowing small amounts of sunlight in. He walked up the cattle ramp and leap-jumped over the gate, as he walked a metal pinging sound echoed off his boots stand on the metal bars, most of them covered in blood. The slaughter corner always was a bit spooky, but such fears were long past Taylor as he marched along. Until he heard a whimper.

“FUCK, NO, I DIDN’T MEAN TO KILL YOU, MY BROTHER DID IT, DON’T HARM ME MISTER GHOST SHEEP!”

His sudden outburst was repaid by shrill screams, echoing off every gate and beam. That was enough for Taylor and he was gone before the scream had even reached the five second mark.

After they stopped and silence took the barn once again, a pink haired woman, scared out of bones, slowly stood from the pile of shaven wool and glanced around.

“I- I think it’s gone.”

^\/^\/^\/^

Tom had finally dragged himself out of his bed and was lying on the floor, fighting for control of his mussels. This was a regular thing, lying on the floor. He found himself there one way or another. There was no real point in getting up this early due to his brother doing everything, so he could just lie there for hours. Unfortunately, due to last night, he had a few notes he would have to take concerning the meteor and those ponies they found. If any of last night was even real.

After some grunts of effort, Tom finally stood. He zombied his way to the door, reaching out to grab the handle with his face forward and nose in the way. He opened the door and walked through towards the kitchen. He stretched out and released any leftover tension in his limps, yawning happily.

Sudden movement and Tom looked to his left, to be met with a frying pan moving at high speed. The force spun him into the wall, slamming his face into that, then falling face-first onto the wooden floor. Blood started to pool around on the ground, a broken nose no doubt; there was going to be hell to pay.

He rolled onto his back and faced the direction of his assailant, then let out a quick kick. His foot made contact and a body hit the floor, crutching his crotch, while managed to stand and kick the frying pan from their reach.

“Taylor, what in all hell is wrong with you?!” His voice was slightly muffled as he held a hand to his nose.

Taylor stopped rolling around to glance up. “Tom? Oh shit Tom it’s you!”

“No shit it’s me! What are you doing, you’ve broken my damn nose!”

It didn’t take long for Taylor to spring back up again, looking out windows and peeking around corners as he ran through the house. Once he had shut all the windows and locked the doors, he picked up his frying pan and stood in a corner.

“Dude, there are damn ghosts after me!”

Tom just groaned. “Ghosts, are you being serious? Are out all the things you have said to get yourself out of trouble, this is the worst.”

“Screw you, I’m being serious man!” Taylor glared at him, but went back to fearfully peeking around the corner. “Okay, I was in the barn when I heard whimpering. I went to check it out and found one of our old knifes when it started to fucking float in the air! Then, this screaming shit happened and bloody knifes started to appear everywhere! I could’ve died!”

Tom rolled his eyes and travelled to the kitchen, getting out a first aid kit and a mirror. After checking to see if his nose was displaced, he grabbed a few bottles of disinfectant and a bandage, then used the mirror as a guide and snapped his nose back into place. “GAH! I don’t care your balls were about to be chopped off, you’re talking bull and I’m sick of trying to talk you into going back to see for yourself.”

“So, what, you’re just going to leave them in there and do whatever to all our shit?”

“No, I’m going with you so I can prove there’s no one there and then slam your face into the wall,” he replied while finishing the bandage on his nose. It stuck out a fair bit, but there was never anyone else other than themselves on the farm so it didn’t really matter. He walked out the front door, grabbing a black shirt and a pair of jeans as he went. “Now let’s get this over with.”

Several minutes later they were outside the barn. No noise was coming from inside and no movement could be seen.

“Right, so who’s first?” asked Tom with a half-caring yawn.

“Well we’re not going through the gate, that’s for sure.” Taylor went around the building, leaving Taylor to chase after him. They rounded a few corners to the ladder that reached into the roof from the outside. “We’re going in through here, much less chance of the ghosts spotting us.”

“Damn it, you’re unbelievable.” Tom pushed past his brother and accented the ladder into the roof space. Taylor soon followed, though at a more slowed pace, carefully placing each foot to not make any noise.

The two walked the steel walkway that over looked the storage area of the barn and stopped to sit and watch. For about ten minutes nothing happened, then as Tom breathed in to talk.

“Those voices have done. Do you think they’ll come back?”

The two brothers looked at each other, eyes wide, and scanned the scene below for the owner of the voice.

“Don’t worry Pinkie, I’m sure after what happened they won’t be back for a while if they didn’t come in this time,” said another voice.

“Aww, I wanted to make some alien friends. Do you know how cool that would be to have alien friends? We could all be like, ‘Hey! Can we fly in your spaceship?’ and they’d be like ‘Yea, sure!’ then we could fly to the moon and see if we can find those space pirates Luna talked about!” This voice was the same as before, high pitched and very energetic.

After some rustling, four shapes came into view below them. At first it looked like pigs or something close, but in the small light they could just make out the slim bodies and rather curvy hips. It was a group of women, stark naked and walking on their hands and knees. One of the other interesting notes were their hair. One was pink and fuzzy, like an afro but in the wrong shape, another was a light purple with fancy curls, the one next to her was also purple, but darker with a streak of pink in it. The last was blond, nothing really fancy.

“Are ya’ll sure you can’t use your magic? ‘Cause I’m gettin’ sick of having to walk like this, it hurts a lot more than it should,” said the blond one.

“Oh I’m sorry Applejack, I can’t seem to focus any of my magic. I’m not even sure I have it all!” said the darker purple haired one sadly.

Tom leaned over and whispered into his brothers ear, “Can you believe this?”

“I know right? It’s really them! Except with tits! This, has got to be the greatest day, in my life. I could cry right now.”

Tom only blinked a couple of times before inwardly groaning, and returned to gaze at the scene below. The four below were soon joined by another two, one with a rainbow mess for hair and the other one with light pink, hiding behind the other.

The rainbow one yawned, stretching her arms and legs. “Hey, sup guys, what are you doing?”

“We are still trying to discuss what to do,” said the light purple one, whose accent was a posh American. “That hideous creature came back and we think it was with a friend, but –“

“Hey, I’m not hideous! I’m considered quite handsome by most of the girls I’ve met!”

Tom looked over at his brother, who was sticking his chest out with pride, before grabbing his legs and flipping him over the edge into the wool pile below.

Taylor squirmed around in the pile before finally getting upright and glaring at Tom. “What the fuck?! You just flipped me over the fucking railing!”

“Yes, I did, because you’re an idiot and need to learn to shut up.” Tom turned his attention from his fallen brother and looked at the six now terrified women. “So, what brings you lot here?”

The one with the posh accent looked between the two before speaking. “Now there, is an alien who knows how to dress!” pointing up at Tom. He couldn’t help but smile at the complement before receiving a metal object to the head and falling after his brother.

“Ha! In your face!” Taylor shouted in Toms face before he lost consciences.

"Now let me get this straight, ya'll are called 'humans', we are now 'humans', an' you want us to go into your house because it's warmer," the only girl with a type of clothing, a hat, asked, "Right?"

Taylor's grin hadn't faltered since the encounter, sitting on his unconscious brother to get comfortable. "Correct. Besides, ya can't go runnin' about butt naked. It's true we don't get many visitors, but if we did and they saw you messing then we could end up alone for awhile."

The six shared uneasy glances, but a chilly morning breeze rose goosebumps that sent shivers down their spines. Being so vulnerable to the elements was unnatural for them; thus arose the question. Take on this odd unnatural place alone, or seek the help of this create who didn't have any doubts hurting his fellows?

^\/^\/^\/^

"Welcome to my home" Taylor announced as he entered, leading the six girls behind him with his brother slung over his shoulder. Despite the large double-story look on the outside, most of the space was used as storage or simply left empty. The rooms still in use were on the first floor and were the kitchen, one of the bathrooms, a living space on the deck rather than inside, and the boys two bedrooms. The rest was mostly forgotten.

He lead them through the kitchen and back onto the deck, where a couple of old couches, pushed back against the wall to avoid rain, a few plastic chairs scattered around, and a plastic table, one leg replaced with an rusty metal pipe, sat in the middle; with bottles scattered everywhere. Past the railing and a few paddocks was the beach with large white rocks blocking the waves but caused for loud clashes of water against earth; and beyond that was the midnight sea, deep and clean, most likely teeming with life.

"Sorry 'bout the mess. You guys get comfortable and I'll clean the crap up, then see what's left in the cupboards."

Leaving the girls to work out how to sit, Taylor returned inside. After scooting into Tom's room to dump him, Taylor hit the pantries to see what remained. Unfortunately, Tom was mostly the cook of the house and prepared all the more complicated dishes, while Taylor would just cook up a steak, some baked beans, and about ten pieces of bacon. More unfortunately, they were out of steak and bacon. So baked beans on toast it was.

"Gotta go by the store later." He mumbled to himself as he opened the cans and threw a pan onto the stove. "Now when's that sleepy bugger gonna get up?"

Chapter four - The Complicated Issue of Nudity

View Online

When Tom woke up, he was mad. Undoubtedly because his 'loving' brother had caused yet more injury to him, but he was left alone. With girls. Naked, confused, not-used-to-or-have-an-unstanding-of-human-nature girls. The roaring laughter that was inevitably his twins made his unsettled nerve worse.

It only took a few strides to his door and through the kitchen before he witnessed a completely chaotic scene. In one corner, two of the women were huddled up, tears in there eyes as they felt around their foreheads, another corner held the same except the two were feeling up and down their backs. Of the last two, the hatted one tried her best to calm down her fellow friends, while the last one with pink coloured hair shoved down pieces of baked beans on toast, using only her face. Taylor simply stood against the railing and laughed, sounding like a dying bird trying to sing its last.

Tom stomped up to his brother, grasping the collar of his shirt tightly and swinging him half over the edge. "What the hell did you do to them?!"

"It's them! It really is them!" he claimed, his voice raspy from his overused throat. "I thought maybe it was a joke at first, or maybe crazies, but it's them! IT IS FUCKING THEM!!"

At first Tom didn't react, instead just staring into the wide eyed, maniacal smile of his brother, before flipping him over the edge; sending him to fall into a small pond under the deck.

"RIGHT!" Tom started, slamming his foot onto one of the chairs to gain attention, quiet the chaos, and use the alleviated leg as a sign of command. It worked. "One of you is going to tell me right now what is going on, or you can join the idiot in swimming lessons!'

The girls were distracted from their problems, frozen before the intimidating figure who had shouted at them. One of the girls who were searching their backs crawled forward some.

"H-Hey! Don't talk to-"

"QUIET!" he commanded again, shoving his finger point-blank in her face. "I'm trying to make sense out of the nutty situation my brother has undoubtedly caused, so please don't start the whole 'how dare you hurt my friends!' crap until after this has been sorted." He pulled his finger from her and pointed to each of the girls in turn. "Now, exactly what did my brother say."

^/\^

"My name's Taylor! This guy's Tom. If you're wondering what you are, you're human. This is a dangerous place you've gotten into, full of evil things such as the monstrous vacuum cleaner, or the venomous poison spitting microwave! But please, don't worry. I am a natural survivalist in these parts, even kept my mentally challenge twin brother alive through it all, and I'll do my best to keep you safe too!

"It's going to be a dark night tonight, a time when the glowing sea monsters of metal cross by the land. It wouldn't be safe here, so follow me to a house of safety! Only there can the mighty and heroic Taylor champ keep you safe."

^\/^

"Oh dear god, why?"

Tom sat in one of the chairs, holding his head. That was definitely something Taylor would say, and of course cause mayhem.

"Hey! We should go after him!" The only one at the table said, "There are still monsters out there! He could be eaten by the sharp ringing sloblephone, or the mean ear destroyer metalhorn! You can't leave him to die, can you?" Her eyes widened, afraid she was staring at someone who would so easily abandon their sibling.

He just sighed. "Right, okay. What if I told you he was lying?"

The girl talking before gasped in a very dramatic fashion. "What! Why would he do such a thing? That's not a very nice way to treat somepony you just met! He's just lucky he didn't Pinkie swear to tell the truth or-"

"Hold up," Tom interrupted, holding up his hand, "'Somepony'? What do you mean, 'somepony'?"

But he already knew. It was at the odd night or so that Taylor would be on the only modern technological device in the house, the laptop, watching episodes of a really odd show he gained from someone he met in town. Before Tom convinced him otherwise, Taylor would constantly bug him to watch the show with him, or even by himself so he could 'enjoy the greatest thing on earth'. He gave it one try, but the story was unethical for his age and too convenient for the characters to get past the obstacles. One thing that bugged him the most was the changing from 'everyone' to 'everypony', which he found to be the most pointless and irritating thing he could possibly imagine. Now these girls, who had appeared out of nowhere, had the same hair, voices, and used 'everypony' as those characters from that show, were sitting before them. The purple shaded hair ones had been searching their foreheads, the unicorns from the show had purple shaded manes. The bright pink and rainbow girls had been searching their backs, like something feathery was missing. The last two didn't seem bothered, like they hadn't suddenly love vital appendages.

It still couldn't be them. They had to be druggies, or extremely over zealous fans, or been kidnapped and brain-controlled by very smart perverted fans. Besides, they were human. Nothing like their pony counter-parts. 'Pony counter-parts...

ponies...'

Then it hit him, like an meteor; or more precisely, hit the hill side. Last night, the shower, the crash, the creator, what was in the creator.

'Oh no.'

"That's not what you say here? Why not, it's fun to say?" The pink one, or from what Tom did remember from the show, Pinkie Pie, said.

"Well, he ain't exactly 'pony'." Stated the girl in the stetson hat, Applejack.

One of the girls in the used-to-be-unicorn corner crawled forward a bit, gotten over the loss of her horn for now. "Applejack's right, but we aren't ponies either. So I guess, technically, it shouldn't be what we say too." Twilight Sparkle.

The others, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy all looked down at their 'new' hands, sadness and more tears obvious in their eyes.

"Hey! I'm back! Who missed me?" Taylor called from the front door, covered in soaked clothes and about to wade through the kitchen in them.

"NO! Don't come inside! Go bugger off!" Was Toms immediate answer.

"What, why?"

"Because you're soaked to the bone! And if you come through the damn kitchen you'll leave water everywhere. Now go dry off somewhere where you wont break anything or cause any more trouble."

Taylor waved his arms in annoyance before pulling his index finger and middle finger at Toms vague direction and storming off.

With his brother gone, Tom quickly brought his attention back to his guests who had their focus back on him. He started to plan in his head for a few minutes, sorting out propitiates.

'Right, things to do. Feeding them looks to be fine, though I will need to clean up the dishes; clothing them is very important, I don't want someone coming in and getting the wrong idea. Then, I guess talk to them and figure if I'm right, plus get their side of the story.

It wasn't much of a list, but it got things started.

"Wait here, I'll be back in a sec." He gathered the dishes and left the six alone, placing the plates and such in the sink. Then he went to the second floor. His very presence seemed to disturb the centimeters of dust that had gathered, making the light coming from a dirtied window at the end of the hall to flicker. Tom brought his shirt collar over his mouth and continued into a door way.

In the room was an unmade moldy bed, dustier than anything else, and piles of boxes. Pressed up to the wall in the far left corner was an empty closet with mirrors for door; so much grime had built up that the mirrors were unusable now.

He didn't move from the doorway, it felt like forbidden territory in here, a place that belonged only to the past and shouldn't be disturbed. However, it was also the only place with female sized clothes. Finally he stepped in and moved some boxes, finally finding what he needed. 'Moms clothes' was written on top with faded blue marker. Tom carefully removed the tape and opened the box, relieved to find that everything inside seemed intact and free of dust.

He returned to find the girls now sitting at the table, various expressions worn by each. They all turned to confusion when he placed the box on the table, though.

"Sort through these and look for anything you like, then put it on," he instructed simply.

Pinkie Pie, the best when using her hands somehow, lifted an old shirt from the box, Tom only got more confused stares.

"Why? These things look centuries old and really lame." Rainbow Dash sniffed at the shirt and scrunched up her face. "Smell it too."

"Besides, what's wrong with not wearing clothes?" Applejack asked. " Ah mean, we don't usually wear clothes, so why now?"

Tom groaned and rubbed his face. "Of course they don't understand clothes. Another point towards being, or used to be, ponies.

Tom looked at them each in the eye, then stated clearly and simply, "Because if you don't then people will think you're crazy or looking for sex."

The crickets hopped away, unable to even breath in the intense silent atmosphere.

"What?"

^\/^\/^\/^

Elsewhere, Taylor was walking the road inland, smiling to himself while waiting for the sun to dry his clothes, now entering the afternoon. 'Damn, it's a great day to be me!' he began thinking to himself. 'I'm still getting over the shock. It's them! It's really fucking them!

He began to chuckle lightly, slowly growing it into a proper laugh, then going all out and making like a mad man. Sheep and cattle ran from the fence lines, growing scared of the maddening laughter of the farmer.

"So, bro, looks like you've finally lost it. Guess that collection's mine."

He snapped shut at the feminine voice, looking up at a pick-up truck that seemed to materialize out of nothing, and the female driver within.

"Sorry Kasey," Taylor replied, "Not just yet. Come by again next week."

"Hm, bummer. Anyway, what are ya doing all the way out here? Tom being a bit of a moron again?"

He snorted, crossing his arms. "Yea, kicked me out just for being a bit wet. Properly wants them all to himself."

Kasey shut-off the still running engine and leaned out the window a bit. "Keeping what to himself? Better not of blown your budget on chocolate again."

Taylor looked up and down the road for anyone listening, more for dramatic effect, and leaned in closer. "Can you keep a secret?" She nodded, "Good, because you know the mane six?"

Kasey's eyes grew wide, her face starting to beam, "You don't mean...?"

"Yes!" He all but shouted, "They're real! And at home! We found th-"

He was cut short by the metal of the car door smashing him in the face. "You're an idiot. Chances are you brought something you shouldn't of in town, again. Get in and I'll get ya home." Kasey huffed and started the engine again.

"I wonder how these two survive without me? Oh, right, they don't.'

Chapter five - The wrath of the eldest

The engine of the loud vehicle shuddered to a stop and the doors slammed shut as the driver and passenger exit, the latter of which still holding his nose.

"Right!" Demanded Kasey, "Where are these 'pony girls' you keep going on about. They need to experience a true kiwi welcome!"

Taylor was right on her heels as she stormed up to the house. In her mind, she was under the belief that some dirty whores or some lot had tried to take down her boys for some cheap fun, before skipping through the house for valuables and hitting the road. Well, like hell she'd just let the buggers waltz in like that!

Taylor tried to think quickly on a way to calm his older adopted sister. "Wait, let's not jump to conclusions here, maybe they were brain-"

"Oh don't give me that shit. Aren't you the damn one who immediately believed them? Then INVITED them INTO the house? These kind of blokes are worse than vampires!"

There was no stopping her now. She kicked at the door, sending it flying off its hinges, and stormed onto the deck living space. There sat six shocked and terrified women, now dressed in some old fashioned dresses, and one man who was holding his head in his hands and muttering. "Goddammitwhydidshehavetoshowupnowofall-"

"Alrighty ladies! Just what kind of balls have you got to try and scam my lads, eh?!" Her posture, hands on hips with feet far apart to appear far larger, not that it was needed considering she was a good six and a half feet big, and long blonde hair which faded a few shades towards orange at the tips, and her voice powered seemly by a god sent the ladies scurrying once again into a corner.

Tom stood suddenly, forcing his chair to go scrapping backwards and drawing the attention towards him. "Now, just wait a bloody sec! I know you think you own us or something-"

"Until you two hit twenty, I consider I do own you."

"Eighteen is legally an adult, not twenty. Anyway! We can make our own bloody choices and such! This is a hell'of'a lot bigger than you think it is, so just calm your sh-"

Tom stopped, quickly bringing his hands to cover his mouth. Kasey's eyes slid down to slits, slowly digging away every little piece of momentum Tom had gathered. Taylor, standing behind her, slowly started to back away.

"Did you- no, of course you didn't. You wouldn't want to swear in front of your older sister, now would you?" Kasey made loud, heavy footsteps towards Tom, edging him backwards till he hit the railing of the deck. Kasey was on him now, leaning right over him so much that he struggled not to fall off the edge.

The six ladies in the corner just watched in wonder, unable to move as they were terrified of the force and power of this new entity. It slightly reminded them of their first encounter with a certain lunar princess.

"Well, Mister adult? Gonna use some big words and stand up to your sis? Or are you just gonna pussy out?" Her smirk spread across her face, the joy of tormenting her law-relatives an absolute joy, especially with such a captive audience.

"W-well- we have- ah-"

"Ya have what?"

"Proof."

Kasey stared right into Tom's soul, peering for any and all fibs and tales.

"Bullshit."

Their they stood. The six ladies, the two brothers, and a very pissed sister; all outside the stable. The two brothers entered first as they were followed by the ladies, Kasey coming up behind to ensure none tried to make a break for it. Still, two of the groups managed to find the time now to chat amongst themselves.

"Proof? Proof of what?" Twilight questioned. "And what does the female mean by us using them? This isn't looking good at all."

"Yeah, I know what you mean." Agreed Rainbow Dash, head hanging low as if all the energy she once had had been sapped, plus extra. "I can't even stand up to her. There's something about her that makes you want to, ya know, give up. If she wasn't a hu- humun, I could've sworn she was Luna's and Celestia's long lost sis or something."

The others gave slight nods to confirm they all felt the same. None were liking this situation. It had started off bad and only got worse. "This is no fun at all." Pointed out Pinkie Pie, her body seemingly as deflated as her hair.

Ahead, the boys were having their own conversation.

"Hey, Tom," Taylor poked his brother on the arm to ensure his attention, "Are we really showing them this? Yea, it proves it's them, but how are we gonna deal with the emotional aftermath?"

Tom just shrugged. "To be honest, dealing with that is better than the alternative. They're real, so they won't know how to deal with this world. Letting Kasey kick them out would only end badly for them, and we would never be able to forgive ourselves."

Kasey remained quiet at the back, watching them silently chat. Finally, they came to the stable they wanted. Tom opened the door and stepped in first, everyone else following after. What they saw shocked them all.

Their standing on her lonesome, was Fluttershys pony form.

"You- you weren't kidding," was all Kasey managed to get out.

The ladies reaction was pure silence, letting the sudden turn of the situation sink in.

The brothers simply stood, dumbfounded, unsure what to do. Finally, after what seemed like an hour, Taylor faced his brother and spoke loudly accidentally for all present to hear: "Tom, where the hell are the other five?"
