The town of Ponyville was slowly caressed by the last slim of sunlight. The pole lights began to flicker on all around the streets and everypony was getting ready to fall in a deep slumber. However, faint music was heard coming from the library where Twilight Sparkle was currently living in. Approaching the windows, on the bark of the tree, one could see ponies shuffling around. A voice was heard.

"And that's that!" said a certain pink maned pony with a high pitched voice. She scooped the last flake of confetti off the Library floor making sure the floor was free of any party favors. Pinkie Pie had just finished an excellent party thrown for Spike and as everypony knew she called dibs on being the host. Five more ponies were inside the tree and they were just about finished cleaning. Applejack and Rarity were picking up the remaining gems that were left over from the feast Spike had indulged himself in. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were removing the banner from across the room which read, "Happy Birthday Spike". And Twilight Sparkle was upstairs placing the sleeping dragon back to his bed. Everypony had a wonderful time, of course there was one complaint...

"Tsk, such a waste of a gorgeous gem." The look of pain on Rarity's face, as she threw away the bitten gem, was enough to make Applejack chuckle. "I could have arranged that wonderful Sapphire stone on a lace, or perhaps include it in a summer dress..." She observed the pebbles before placing them on the thrash bin. "...but I know how much my Spikey-wikey loves his gem, so sacrifices had to be made." Applejack didn't say a word and left Rarity speaking with herself. The orange maned pony pushed the thrash bin outside and Pinkie Pie was seen tossing the broom to the side, having accomplished her "Confetti Pickup Game". She bounced over to Fluttershy who just finished packing away the banner with Rainbow Dash.

"What a great party! Wasn't it amazing? I thought it was the most super duper party ever! We should have invited the whole town," she kept jumping up and down. Fluttershy couldn't help but smile and nod at her friends's enthusiasm. Though she consciously fought it, Fluttershy's eyes couldn't hide her exhaustion. She had waken up early so she could be the first to wrap her chocolate gift in Bon Bon's shop.

In reality, all of the mares were exhausted. They had been celebrating Spike's birthday for 5 hours straight. It was his wish to spend time with his friends, and had told Pinkie about it. Pinkie, being the carefree pony that she is, thought that Spike meant "spend the whole day partying". Spike had to clear her confusion and told her that a few hours was just fine. Again, Pinkie's sense of time is highly different from the rest of the creatures in Equestria. Yet, Spike had fun and ate so many gems, he fell asleep. So by Pinkie's term, that was a well thrown party.

Rainbow Dash, flew down and dropped to the floor right next to Rarity who had just sat down on a wooden seat.

"The energy on her, how does she do it?" Rainbow Dash asked Rarity, impressed by the amount of energy Pinkie had. Both mares observed at the bouncing blur of pink, on the other side of the room. Rarity simply shrugged and slyly grinned at the question. Rainbow Dash immediately recognized what that look meant.

Pinkie is Pinkie.

A door was heard shut and soon after Twilight Sparkle approached the stairs and looked at all her friends.

They all seem exhausted...and I don't blame them...perhaps I should try that energy boost spell I've been studying...hmm anyways I'll thank them for their trouble...

She trotted down, and smiled, lost in her own thoughts. Each and one of them stopped their doing, as the purple mane placed herself on the middle of the room. Twilight then proceeded to talk. "Thank you girls. I couldn't have done this without your help. If it weren't for all of you, the party would have been monotonous to say the least" she placed her hoof behind her head.

"Aw, don't mention it, Sugarcube" Applejack exclaimed as she entered the Library once more. All of the ponies nodded and agreed with Applejack's statement. Pinkie was especially assertive about it, as she veraciously nodded her head and whistled. A grateful smile crawled to Twilight's face.

Suddenly, Rarity stood up and took the word.

"As much as I would love to stay and chatter about the events of today, the weight on my hooves is killing me and I must wake up early tomorrow" she took the lead and walked outside. All of the ponies followed right behind her and said their good nights, as well. Pinkie wasn't too excited about the thought of leaving, but she didn't want to force anyone on staying. She trotted to the door and her heart skipped a beat for a second, as Twilight Sparkle intercepted her.

"Umm Pinkie can I talk to you real quick?" she said softly. Twilight's voice filled Pinkie's eardums and she felt a quick shiver.

Pinkie, trying her best to hide her physiological response, simply answered "Sure!". But, because the sudden event caught her off guard, the response was delivered along the lines of "hurr". Twilight paid no attention to this small detail and spoke again.

"I just wanted to thank you personally, cause I know you pulled most of this weight. Spike had a great time and it was all because of your party expertise! I mean, you took the whole day off just to help me set everything up." Twilight's face lit up as she spoke. Pinkie's eyes widened a little, admiring her friend's expression. "You truly are a wonderful friend!" Twilight said, while smiling. Pinkie felt her cheeks burn up.

She then realized Twilight had said THE word again...friend...

Pinkie was never one to feel sad about being called a friend. Quite the contrary, that filled her with joy. But each time Twilight said that word, her heart would feel funny...like that wasn't the word she wanted to be called. Pinkie threw that thought at the back of her mind and just smiled widely. "Silly filly! It was no problem! Maybe we can do another party soon, if you like?" That last part escaped her lips. She loved to party but she didn't want to impose on Twilight. This thought was not common in Pinkie for she loved parties and friends more than anything. Yet there was something about upsetting Twilight or the mere fact of bothering her, that Pinkie couldn't brush out... She could never think right whenever they were alone, almost as if...

"That would be great, but I don't think it could be anytime soon." Twilight yawned, trying her best to avoid Pinkie's "Soul Stare" as she had called it in her mind. Without realizing it, Pinkie had stared at Twilight for well over a minute.

That nudged Pinkie right out of her trance. "That's okay...maybe next week! Uh, well..." Pinkie shifted her hooves. "Uh... see you Twilight!" Pinkie hurried home before anything else could happen. Twilight waved goodbye, turned around and closed the door behind her, with magic.

Why? Pinkie slowed her pace as she trotted over to the Sugarcube Corner.

Why can't I stop thinking about it? She kept thinking this same question over and over until she slammed herself with the front door of the shop. She shook it off and scolded the door. "Bad door. I wasn't in the middle of thinking." She slowly opened the door and closed. She made her way to her room. She could hear Mr. Cake snore from his room, so she did her best not to make any unnecessary noises. Once inside her room, she threw herself on the bed and stuffed her face on the pillow. Her brain took control.

Pinkie had been fighting with these feeling for some time now, but not until recently had her emotions grown stronger.

Pinkie liked Twilight.

That was the truth, she couldn't deny. It all started when Twilight wanted to prove that her Pinkie Senses were fake. Pinkie had never been stalked by someone before, and that got her thinking as to why would anyone really care about her powers or at her, by that matter! Pinkie liked the attention, and as time continued, it kept pushing them to do more stuff together. It was during these events that Pinkie Pie realized her emotions were shifting. They were beginning to be so strong, she often had fights with herself, because her eyes kept staring at Twilight's rump. Pinkie blushed at the thought and tried pushing the imagery away

I just don't want to ruin our friendship She absently thought.

Yea, you can't do that, it'll ruin the show Suddenly her internal voice spoke. It was her mind. For some strange reason Pinkie's mind seemed to have...well...a mind of its own. She doesn't remember when it quite happened but she kept having conversation with what she thought was her brain.

But I can't possibly do this forever. Pinkie whispered in her mind.

Well tell her! The voice suggested.

Pinkie shifted in her sheets. But I can't! What if she...hates me after I tell her...

There is no pleasing your heart... the voice seemed to trail off. A few seconds later it appeared once more. You and I both know you wouldn't mind kissing some of that sparkle. An small laugh filled her thoughts.

Pinkie couldn't help but feel the pressure gather in her cheeks. She was constantly being teased by her mind. Not helping she responded. Whenever Pinkie was alone, she felt her personality change a little. Her brain had once mentioned it was just her cute side showing. Her brain spoke once more.

And you don't listen to me! Why don't you go ahead and ask HEART for advice. Imma go eat a mental muffin...

Pinkie's internal voice vanished for the time being. She removed her pillow and stared at the ceiling. "I have to go and talk to one of the girls maybe they will know how to help...but...what if they tell Twilight...I know! I'll make them Pinkie promise it...but what if Twilight overhears it...or somepony else...Oh dear Celestia, help me..." She placed her pillow on top of her face as hard as possible. Everypony in Ponyville knew of Pinkie's tendencies. All of her friends knew. Pinkie was into mares, but Pinkie promised she would never fall in love with any of her close friends. They were her sisters.

I awwways kwew you wwwere intow thawt incest stuff! Her vivid thought interrupted, apparently with a muffin in its mouth.

Go away Brain! Wait...is that a muffin your eating? What flavor is it?. No response.

She sighed and turned to stare at the ceiling for the second time that night. She pondered who could have experience on the subject. Perhaps Lyra could advice her. She and Bon Bon always seemed like a good couple, but she dind't feel comfortable talking with Lyra about these kind of things. A few minutes flew by and she still hadn't made up her mind. Pinkie was never good at staying focused on a subject, even by her own terms. Suddenly her eyes lit up and she threw her hooves forward. "Rarity!" she whispered as loud as she could, trying not to wake up the Cakes who were already sleeping. Rarity always seemed to know about relationships.

That's so mainstream, making Rarity the mare with the experience, shame on you. I'm sure you read that onli- *ding* oh! The cookies are done Pinkie could have sworn he heard steps and they were growing faint, as if her Brain actually walked somewhere.

Silence. Both outside and inside her mind. She stared upwards and tried communicating with her brain.

You there? ...Hello? No response. Placing her attention back to the subject, Pinkie decided that she would go to Rarity's, first thing in the morning. She had to clear both her mind and her heart. Pinkie's eyes grew wearily as she dropped the subject and succumbed to her bed's warm embrace. Slowly, her eyes started to close. Pinkie's body was tired. No longer fighting the urge to sleep the mare, covered herself with her party themed blanket and nuzzled her pillow. A grin crawled to her mouth as her last thoughts was of Twilight's sweet and warm smile.

On the last episode of Wimpie Pie Z, our young mare finally drew the strength to battle the evil forces of Friend and Zone, as she slowly wak...

"Good morning to you too, Brain". An annoyed tone filled Pinkie's pillow. After the groan, she stuffed her face on the pillow again and hugged it, retrying to gather her sleep. There was a momentary pause on her body.

Get up! You need to go to Rarity's! Pinkie's Brain took control of her hind legs. Like a robot, her lower limbs pointed outwards of the bed and stood on their own. The lifeless upper body of the mare got dragged around the room. First the bed, then the nightstand and finally the door. It was then when Pinkie had enough of being slammed around and held control of her body's functions.Instead of fighting, she sat on the floor and yawned. Suddenly, the bedroom door opened and with it Mr. and Mrs. Cake. Their eyes frantically searching for something out of place.

"Good MORNING!" Pinkie shouted, completely unfazed.

Both ponies blankly stared at the smiling mare sitting in the middle of the room. They quietly stepped back and closed the door behind them. A simple "Good morning" escaped Mrs. Cake's lips. The old couple didn't bother to question what had happened.

The room grew unpleasantly silent, once more. A sigh as her eyes closed, was the only relief available. Slowly opening them, the central view her eyes found was the window.

Must be around six in the morning, if that's what you are wondering

She smirked at the thought.

"Thanks. By the way, do you think you could tone it down a bit? I can get up just fine and do it without crashing into everything"

Yeah, yeah. Come on! Let's go! You need to talk to Rarity!

"I can't yet! I need to work, first" Pinkie gave her brain a reminder, which was kind of ironic.

But the mission!

"I'll ask Mrs. Cake if I can work until lunch," she assured.

After winning the argument, a quick freshening up was in order. Trotting over to the bathroom, Pinkie was greeted by Gummy, who proceeded on biting Pinkie's face. She giggled and settled him down on the floor. She entered the bathroom, brushed her teeth and took a shower. After drying herself up, Pinkie raced downstairs to the kitchen, where she initiated her baking ritual. A smile, continuously forged in her face, was the mask used as the busy day of Sugarcube Corner commenced. Several hours passed, but Pinkie didn't stop thinking about her objective. Every so often she would eye the clock on the wall, while excitingly baking the orders that were given out. Time seemed like a blur.

The clock placed itself at twelve. Pinkie instantly approached Mrs. Cake, with her request.

"Mrs. Cake, I was wondering if I could have the evening off, because I have this potato, but I don't know how to peel it. So I must ask my friends if they know how to peel it and yes, it is very important to peel this potato. Because this potato will determine.." she was cut off by Mrs. Cake's nod. The old mare was already accustomed to all of Pinkie's petitions, and she saw how much Pinkie worked for the last few hours.

"Go, Pinkie. We can take care of the rest." she said softly with a smile towards her "almost daughter".

This was all that Pinkie needed to hear. Like a flash, she disappeared through the front door. and made her way to the Carousel Boutique. Bouncing half of the way, she greeted everypony she found. This was a habit she needed to do. Her joy needed to be shared, and this couldn't be stopped, not even by her most pressing matters. After crossing the bridge, Pinkie saw Rarity's home and this fueled her energetic self. Her trot increased and so did her determination. As Pinkie neared the entrance she saw somepony open the front door of the Carousel Boutique. It was Twilight Sparkle.

Great squiggly wiggly, Pinkie! Distraction art number seventeen! her brain shouted at her. In a blink of an eye, Pinkie took out from her mane several pink balloons. She filled them up and crafted a life size duplicate of herself, while immediately lunging herself at the nearest tree, next to the Carousel. The lifeless balloon creation stood in the middle of the road. Twilight turned around after saying goodbye to Rarity, to only see a pink figure near the middle of the road.

"...Pinkie?" she asked as she approached the balloon figure. Twilight stared at it dumbfounded, when it became clear it was only a life size balloon animal of her friend. As she tried to poke it, one of the balloons popped loudly. A jolt cued her body. The whole thing flew away in a frantic, circular matter. Only to deflate completely several steps away from her. Pinkie paid close attention to her crush, from the tree she was in. Twilight searched around for Pinkie but it was to no avail. Brushing the events off, Twilight walked casually back to town.

As soon as Twilight left her eyesight, Pinkie slowly climbed down the tree and knocked on Rarity's door.

"Come in!" a voice encouraged.

Pinkie slammed the door open and dashed towards Rarity. The moment Rarity turned around Pinkie was already staring at her eyes. Rarity couldn't help but fall back.

"Pinkie!" she shouted.

"That's me!" Pinkie shouted back.

Rarity composed herself and approached her pink haired friend.

"Darling, how many times I have told you, not to barge in like that?!"

"Well counting today it has been one hundred and thirty-two" her iedetic memory served a good purpose.

Rarity ignored her friend's precise number and asked what was it, she wanted. Though Rarity was completely busy with orders, she always took time to answer to her friend's needs.

"Well long story short i'm trying to peel this potato, and I think you can help me. See this potato has been cooking for a while, and though I promised I wasn't going to eat it, I thin-" Rarity placed a hoof on her mouth.

"Pinkie, please use coherent sentences, I am very busy and I have no time to try to translate what you are saying".

Pinkie nodded and took a deep breath. "I have a crush on somepony".

"Ohhh, so this is what's all about," she cooed as her curiosity increased. "Who's the stal-" Rarity stopped and corrected herself. She was so used to talking about stallions, she frequently forgot Pinkie didn't go that way. "Who's the lucky mare?"

"I can't say, it's a secret. But I can tell you she is cute and smart and amazing an-" Again interrupted by a hoof.

"Okay, okay, I get it. So you are obviously here for advice, am I correct?" she aired herself as being experienced in relationships. Pinkie simply nodded.

"Well darling, presentation is everything. If you want anypony to notice you, you have to look your best. Wear your best dress, use your finest accessories, and fix your hair. Once you look your best, approach said pony and talk casually with them. Be very interested in what they are talking about, make sure you make some kind of physical contact. Maybe a little touch to their hoof now and then. These cues are very important, they will tell the pony, that you are looking for something more. If the pony asks you on a date, or wants to spend an evening, then you are in! There's no necessity on telling them how you feel because the cues will do that for you. " Rarity couldn't hold back a smile at her advice.

A puzzled look crawled upon Pinkie. "...really? Is that it?"

"Yes, that's all there's to it. I would love to keep chatting with you Pinkie but I am very busy." Rarity started pushing Pinkie outside. "Call me to let me know, how'd it go. Okay? Byeeee". She closed the door behind Pinkie, who was now blankly staring at the dirt road in front of her. Still skeptical about her friend's advice Pinkie started walking down the road.

Well it seems like we have a game plan! Let's go back to the Sugarcube, and invite Twilight somewhere! That way we can follow Rarity's plan. Oh gosh, I don't have my hair curler with me! That's ok, I'll just go get it. In the meanwhile i'm just going to leave the dress in the oven so it can get ready. a door seemed to open and close, inside Pinkie's head.

The pink mare was too focused on the matter to notice her brain "mentally leaving".

"I just don't know...although some of the things Rarity said made sense, I can't see myself wearing a dress. They are very constrictive, and my hair is fine the way it is...right?" Pinkie whispered to herself.

Without noticing, she trailed off from the road whilst debating with herself, and slowly approaching the entrance of the Everfree Forest.

"I mean...I DO wanna look good and I want to spend time with Twilight. But... I don't know what she meant about the "cues". All of this just feels...odd." her head moved in disapproval. "Rarity has more experience about this sort of thing. I'm just going to follow her advice!". The idea didn't settle well in her head, but she had no other option.

Suddenly a door opened and closed again.

I'm back. I don't what you said Pinkie, but by judging the tone of your voice you don't agree one hundred percent. Rarity just didn't give you the answer you were looking for. It was vague, like Big Mac's face. Which was struck with a mace, in the shape of a vase. her brain sang a bit. Just ask somepony else!

An actual good advice from her brain stopped Pinkie in her tracks.

"But who can help me?" she moved her pupils upwards.

The answer will be given to you if you roll on the floor right now!!!! a shout in her head.

As expected Pinkie didn't think twice about throwing herself on the floor and commenced the rolling. She kept rolling around in bushes and twigs, she was now having fun. If there was something Pinkie was glad, it was that she had her brain to always randomize her actions. After a few minutes, of pure twisting and turning around in the grass and also falling in some bushes as well, Pinkie came to a stop. She stood on all fours and gazed forward.

Fluttershy's House.

A Dash of Shyness

View Online

Good afternoon everypony! And welcome back to Whose Ponies Is It Anyways? On today's show we have, Undecisive and Uncanny, Pinkie Pie! The Shy and the Proud, Fluttershy! The Hot-Headed and Unmistakable, Rainbow Dash! And the Desperate Pupil and Prodigy, Twilight Sparkle! Come on and read, let's have some fun!

Pinkie bounced towards Fluttershy's house. Birds of all kinds flew about and a few critters scurried around the scenery. It was always a breath of fresh air to be surrounded by the flora and fauna of Equestria, especially if it was near Fluttershy's house. At times, the house itself seemed to be a part of nature. Pinkie tried scanning the area for any kind of shaking, for it most probably belong to her friend. A rainbow colored trail soared through the air just behind the house. "...Rainbow Dash?" Pinkie wondered as she raced towards the backyard. A few shouts were heard. Jumping over the bridge and dashing towards the backyard, Pinkie wondered what was happening. As the view of the backyard came to be, Pinkie stopped and curiously looked at the scene playing. Rainbow Dash was holding her pet turtle as Fluttershy carefully examined it.

"Are you sure he didn't eat anything out of the ordinary?" Fluttershy asked Rainbow Dash.

"Of course! Like I told you, I only left for five minutes, and when I came back he looked this pale!" her face grew more and more aggravated. Though she didn't want anypony to know, Rainbow Dash was quite fond of Tank. Fluttershy kept looking at the pale green turtle, his face was full of pain. She tried handing him a ladle of soup, but the turtle just moved his head in denial. The scene was obviously one of seriousness.

You know what would be random? Pinkie's Brain asked.

"What?" Pinkie answered back.

If you did a triple front flip over both of them and shouted "Hey!"

"That's not random..."

WHILE blindfolded by your mane!

Pinkie Pie smirked and started shaking with excitement. She proceeded to take a few steps back, wiggled her tail in anticipation and ran. After four steps Pinkie jumped into the air while tying her mane in front of her eyes. She then flipped three times and once she touched the floor she screamed on top of her lungs:

"HEY!!!!"

Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and even her pet turtle, Tank, jumped out in response. This made Rainbow Dash fall down on the floor while holding her turtle. As they fell to the ground, Tank coughed out a piece of tire which fell a few inches from them. This in turn, returned his normal green color.

"P-Pinkie! Well I ought t-" She stopped midtrack noticing that her pet turtle had gone back to normal. "...I umm...thanks..." she told Pinkie, a sign of relief overflowing her face.

Fluttershy got out of a bush she hid, on response to Pinkie's shout, and walked to the piece of tire on the floor.

"Oh my..." said Fluttershy picking up the small rubber that was causing Tank indigestion. "Rainbow Dash, do you have a tire in your house?" she asked, focusing on Rainbow Dash with one eyebrow raised.

"Well, yeah...I had to put a few around the house so Tank wouldn't get hurt. He's been practicing his sweet moves and some of them...well...they still need a bit more work." Rainbow Dash paused and looked at her turtle. "I suppose you got curious and ate a piece, huh?" she asked Tank, while he licked her in response.

Fluttershy smiled softly. "Well i'm sure you won't do that anymore? Won't you Mr. Tank?" she patted the turtle. Fluttershy then turned her attention to Pinkie Pie who was staring at Tank and Rainbow Dash. "Hi Pinkie, i'm sorry." she bowed her head. "I was so caught up with Tank, I forgot to say hi." she slowly looked up at Pinkie. "Was there something you wanted?"

"Oh I was wondering if I could ask you a question! And now that Dashie is here, I can also ask her too." she gasped. "Two for the price of one, today is my lucky day!" Pinkie said excitedly.

"Well...sure." Fluttershy responded while looking at Rainbow Dash. She nodded as well placing her pet turtle to her side. Not wanting him to stray too far.

"So, watssup Pinkie?" Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow.

"Well ok, so I have this potatoe!" Pinkie placed her hooves in front of herself obviously not holding anything. She then took a deep breath. "And I need to peel this potatoe! Cause you know, potatoes need to be peeled if you want to eat them. Unless you don't like peeling potatoes and love th-" Rainbow Dash hushed Pinkie. "Can you give us the short version?" Rainbow pleaded while Fluttershy nodded softly, trying not to be rude.

"Oh, ok. Well I have a crush and I wanted to ask you for some advice!" She blurted out.

Fluttershy turned a beet red, while Rainbow Dash softly blushed and scratched the back of her neck while looking at her side. "D-don't you think this is something you want to talk to somepony else? Like Rarity?" Rainbow suggested trying not to make eye contact with Pinkie.

"That's the thing I already talked to her!" She started moving back and forth, telling her story. "But I was wondering if you two could give me a second opinion." Puppy eyes filled Pinkie's face as he stared at the two blushing mares.

Fluttershy tried her best to hide behind her mane, never daring to look at Pinkie directly in her eyes. Not a single word was spoken for a full ten seconds. It was then Rainbow Dash cleared her throat and took the word.

"Well in my opinion, you just have to tell that person directly and immediately. There's no point in "trotting around the bush". If you don't tell this somepony your feelings, you might never know if said pony likes you or not, and might spend the rest of your life wondering what could have happen. Life is just too short for somepony, not to take risk. So...just...say it..." A bit of red fled her cheeks.

Pinkie blinked at the advice. It was a bit unexpected to hear Rainbow Dash give out an advice like that but it was a good advice nonetheless. She then stared at Fluttershy, who just whimpered as she noticed Pinkie facing her.

"Do you have an advice I could use, Fluttershy?" She leaned closer to her.

Fluttershy just stared at the ground. "W-w-w-well...w-what Rainbow Dash said was okay..." she paused making circles with her hooves. "Being a bit shy at times, also works...I guess..." she finished off. Pinkie kept staring at Fluttershy for a while longer. This made the mare nervous to the point of breakdown. She moved her head upwards and blurted. "I...I just remembered I need to feed the bunnies that live near the river at the end of the Everfree Forest, so I have to leave now." Fluttershy said as fast as possible. Suddenly Fluttershy grabbed a food bag, picked it up and trotted off into the forest. Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash kept staring dumbfounded, as their friend disappeared from their sight. Rainbow picked up Tank and started hovering above the ground.

"Hey Pinkie." curiosity got the best of Rainbow Dash.

"Hm?" Pinkie stared with eyes wide open.

"Who's your crush?" She taunted.

"It's somepony you know and I know and everyone knows! But you can't know cause it's a secret, but you might know eventually, maybe, who knows?" Pinkie simply trotted away leaving Rainbow Dash confused as always. "...b..but.." she sighed and flew away.

Pinkie began to hop to the town. A smile crawled to her mouth as Pinkie felt ready to tell Twilight Sparkle.

Well can we go now? her crazy Brain returned. Pinkie nodded happily.

"I talked to all of my friends. I talked to Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Appl---" Pinkie suddenly stopped and realized she hadn't asked Applejack for advice. She gasped loudly. "Applejack! I haven't talked to Applejack! Oh Sweet Celestia!" Pinkie shouted to herself. She looked at the sky and it was already getting late.

The grandfather clock says it's four-o-clock a sip was heard afterwards.

"Are you drinking tea at a time like this?!" Pinkie asked her brain.

Indeed, next to the fireplace of course! another sip. I say, judging by the distance from here to Sweet Apple Acres, I don't think you'll make it in time. Might I suggest making the "haste" before sundown. a weird accent filled the Brain's voice.

"Even on foot I don't think i'll make it in time...unless..." Pinkie hatched an idea. She took her Party Cannon out and removed all the party favors it had inside. She then knotted a piece of rope to one of the wheels of the cannon and knotted the other end to her waist. She aimed at Sweet Apple Acres and grinned.

Now you be thinking like myself, young lassy! a different accent was now heard. My quilt and sword be yearning forth the adventure! a clank of sword against another metal filled Pinkie's thoughts.

"I knew you'd like my idea! But let's hurry, I must have Applejack's advice before tommorrow!" she told her brain, while climbing the cannon.

"Advice for what?" a sudden voice said behind Pinkie.

"Whaaaaaagh" Pinkie shouted as she fell on her back. She opened her eyes only to see a blur of purple.

"Pinkie, what are you doing?" Twilight asked her friend.

A flush of red overtook Pinkie's cheek. Twilight was staring at her, a few inches away from her own eyes. A few seconds passed in silence. Pinkie's face was now completely flushed.

Quick! Say something witty!

"Hi Twilight, you know...just here...lying around..." Pinkie giggled.

Nalied it! a high five clap inside her head echoed.

Twilight giggled as well and helped the pink mare get up. It was in these moments Pinkie was glad she was good under stressful situations. With that a bit of color returned to her face and now she was staring at Twilight, who was staring at the cannon. Pinkie noticed this and got in the way of her view. This brought Twilight's eyes to her own.

Her heart froze for a second.

"Pinkie, what were you doing?" Twilight asked again.

Pinkie blinked and moved her eyes away form the eye-lock she placed herself into.

"Well i'm going to Applejack's house. But I have to get there really quick, before she gets to bed, because then it'll be too late to ask her for advice" Pinkie responded quite frankly.

"An advice? Well maybe I can be of service?" Twilight responded a bit excited, she was always happy to help out her friends especially if it meant giving out advice. Pinkie made a step back. She didn't know how to respond.

"Oh...ummm...you see...." Pinkie stammered.

Code Red, Code RED! Abort! Do not engage! I REPEAT, DO NOT ENGAGE! a fire alarm went off.

Pinkie began to sweat. She was getting desperate.

"...Oh....LOOK AT THAT!!!" Pinkie quickly pointed out behind Twilight, who rapidly turned her head around.

In that instant Pinkie threw herself inside the cannon, and made the cannon explode. Thereby launching herself out of the cannon. The rope that was strapped around the wheel of the cannon stiffened itself and pulled the cannon with Pinkie into the air.

"Im sorry!!!!" Pinkie shouted at Twilight while flying away. Twilight just looked confused and softly said "...bye?"

Pinkie had to look away. She couldn't bare to look at Twilight, after that completely rude behavior. She then focused herself forward. She was flying across town. She passed Sugarcube Corner, then the Library, past a few houses and was now on an open field. Pinkie looked at the sun that was beginning to settle down. She thought it looked beautiful. A few more minutes passed and she began to descend. Sweet Apple Acres was now on view. Quickly looking over where to land, she aimed for the nearest apple tree, weirdly enough Pinkie was pretty good on aerial movement, for a pony with no wings. She saw Applejack across the field and waved at her.

"Hi Applejack!" she shouted.

"Wh-what in tarnation? Pinkie?!" she quickly said as she trotted towards her.

Pinkie suddenly hit a tree and so did the cannon. It was an abrupt stop, so a dizzy landing was in order.

"Imma coming!" Applejack said. Once she got near the tree where Pinkie had crashed, she quickly took a rope out of her side and quickly wrapped it around her friend. She pulled it with her teeth, and Pinkie came crashing down. Luckily Applejack caught her. "Pinkie! What in sweet Cele-" the cannon toppled down on top of both of them.

"Sorry about that, I should have warned you." Pinkie apologized to her friend.

Applejack sighed. "That would have been helpful ya' know." She said while getting up. Pinkie undid the knot and hid the cannon inside her mane. Applejack was unfazed at this action. She knew better than to wonder how she did these kind of things, it is Pinkie Pie, after all. "What brings you here, Sugarcube?" Applejack said turning back to her usual self.

"I need an advice, can you help me?" Pinkie asked.

"Of course, what kind of advice yer looking for?" Applejack responded.

Pinkie smiled.

A Jack of Heart

Applejack and Pinkie Pie started walking around the Sweet Apple Acres. Pinkie described in exaggerated matters the feelings she had been getting and the events that had transpired throughout the day. Applejack never uttered a word. She was silently deep in thought, thinking what vocabulary would be appropriate to help her friend in need. An hour or so had passed and the Sun was already setting beautifully in the hills of Sweet Apple Acres.

"...and that's how I ended up in your tree." the mare finally inhaled.

Applejack didn't blush, or interrupted Pinkie in any moment, and now that she had finished, Applejack was placing the last words in her head. She turned to Pinkie who was now, surprisingly, staring at the ground, her usual smile was not there. Instead a frustrated clench held her face. No other pony was concerned enough to actually let Pinkie Pie express herself fully. She wanted to tell it her own way, to let off the steam in the only way she knew how to, by exaggerating. It wasn't a plead for attention, it was just the way Pinkie handled these situation in specific. Applejack knew all of this.

"...I..I just don't know Applejack..." she sniffed and rubbed a hoof on her nose. A pause. Pinkie began to doubt her own actions. She was regretting her emotions.

Her eyes began to water as she contemplated the sun setting. "...should I just forget about it...?" A tear ran down her left cheek. "I don't even know if she's even into mares...and even if she was, why would she choose me..." She blinked and more tears were dropped. "All I've ever done is annoy...and confuse her..." Her mane lost its fluff, her vivid pink skin began to be darker. But Applejack stood her ground, she was not going to console her, not until she was done. "...why should I bother to have feeling that will never be returned to me, the way I need them to be...why should I bother..." She sank her face in between her legs and closed her eyes. A moment of silence.

Suddenly a hoof was felt. Pinkie felt the warmth of the hoof and began to sob uncontrollably. Applejack then embraced Pinkie in a hug. She removed her head in between her legs and placed it in Applejack's chest. Pinkie also placed her hooves around Applejack. Tears and more tears fled the pink mare's face and now covered Applejack's chest. A few minutes passed and Pinkie's sob began to slow. It was here Applejack spoke.

"Pinkie, I reckon you've been feeling like this for a long time...why didn't you come to me sooner?"

Pinkie shrugged and raised her shoulders in response, her face was still in her chest and didn't look at Applejack's eyes. Just the horizon.

"Pinkie, if there are two things we can't control in this life...that would be our death and our hearts. Ya'll can't choose who you fall in love with. It just happens. Just like death. The feelings you're dealing with are as natural as, this here Apple Tree. Don't be ashamed of them. As for ma' advice, I suggest you tell her when you are feeling ready, and when the moment is an appropriate one."

"...but...what happens if I can never find an appropriate moment?" Pinkie now left her chest and looked at Applejack with puffy eyes.

"Then ya two weren't meant to be..." honesty filled each word. Pinkie could sense them and she stood there silently.

"Pinkie, you're worrying too much at the future. Live today, and pray Celestia for a tomorrow worth living for. If tomorrow brings a good harvest then take advantage of it. It it doesn't, then ask for the strength to see the day it does arrive. At the end of the day though, it will be your decision, Sugarcube. I merely just gave ma' opinion." She placed a hoof on Pinkie's shoulder. Pinkie smiled and with that a bit of color also came back to her face.

"Thank you Applejack, I'm glad I asked for your opinion. I will wait for the moment to arrive." A hug enveloped Applejack. "Well it's getting late!" A sudden poof, brought Pinkie back to her normal self, puffy mane and everything. Applejack was finally relieved to see her friend well. They both walked back to the entrance of Sweet Apple Acres, said their goodbyes and went to their own respective homes. Pinkie hopped back, still letting in everything that had happened.

Is the "feel" moment gone?

Pinkie nodded happily again, to her overstimulated brain.

All right, now that you have a new resolution what are you planning to do?

"The same thing we always do. Have fun." Pinkie felt proud those words escaped her mouth.

I like that. But you can't possibly leave your situation like this. What will the fans say ab- A television set made some static noises. Whoa, is it time for my favorite show already? Let me get the dress, it must be done by now. A distant noise was heard.

-Long ago in a distant land. I, Brain, the random master of spontaneity, unleashed an unspeakable desire. But a foolish pony wielding a party cannon stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck I tore open an idea, where it consumed her day and night. Now the foolish pink mare seeks to her friends for ideas, so she may finally gather up the strength and be able to shut me up.-

Pinkie just moved her in denial and smirked. She ignored her thoughts and headed towards Sugarcube Corner. She passed through some house and walked next to the Library. She just smiled and didn't even bother looking inside, Twilight's home. Suddenly a door opened.

"Pinkie?" Twilight said to the moving pony, hoping it wasn't another lifelike balloon creation.

Pinkie stopped and stared at her crush. She couldn't help but blush a little. "Oh, hi, Twilight. What are you doing outside?" Pinkie asked staying her ground. She was frozen in place.

"I could ask you the same thing." She walked towards her. "Anyway, I'm actually glad to see you. I wanted to apologize to you."

"Apologize? For what, Twilight?" Pinkie finally unfroze and was now less tense.

"Earlier today I asked if I could know what advice you wanted to ask Applejack, without actually knowing what was about. I didn't know if it was something private or something you didn't want to talk to anypony about it. I'm sorry for intruding in your personal life. But just know that if you ever need some advice or somepony to talk to, you can talk to me." Twilight finished off and now was staring directly into Pinkie's eyes.

"Nah, don't worry about it. And I'm also sorry for leaving you like that all of a sudden. That was rude of me." Pinkie smiled as she apologized as well. "If you really want to know I just needed some advice on how to peel a potato. And Applejack told me just how to peel the potato." She never got tired of that.

"So... you have feelings towards a pony?" Twilight remarked.

AHHHH!!!! I spilled some of my dress on myself. Better get water to cool it off.

Pinkie opened her eyes, took a cup of water, sipped a bit and she spat it sporadically.

"W-what? Ho-how did you know?" said the flabbergasted pony, as she got near Twilight. "Are you psychic? Is this a new spell? Can you read my mind?" she shuddered at the thought.

Twilight just backed up a little from the approaching pink mare. "No, it's just a bit obvious. You keep blushing every time we engage about the subject and potato is just an excuse for saying pony. It was just an assumption, but by judging your reaction I guess I was right" her defense was solid. Pinkie fell on her own trap.

Twilight suddenly giggled. "It's ok Pinkie. If you don't want to talk about it, I understand. There's not much advice I can give you anyways. Though I am curious as to who it might be." she smiled at Pinkie.

"I-I...well, I can only tell you, it is a mare you know." Pinkie responded.

"Oh so that's the reason you didn't want to talk to me about. Well I can promise I won't tell her." Twilight quickly responded. Her eyes grew larger by the second.

Pinkie was in a predicament, again. She could tell her right now. But the words didn't come out. It wasn't the right time. At that moment a voice form inside the Library called out Twilight.

"Are you alright?" Spike looked outside of the door. He then noticed Pinkie. "Oh hey Pinkie! What are you doing?"

Pinkie focused on the purple dragon. "Hiya Spike! I was walking home and now i'm talking with Twilight!" Pinkie responded, trying to buy off time.

"I'll be right there, Spike" Twilight told her dragon companion. "It is late, how about we talk about it tomorrow? If you're up for it, of course!" Twilight remarked with a smiled.

"Sure!" Pinkie said excitedly, regaining her cool.

"Great! I have to run some errands with Spike and I have to catch up on some books. How does tomorrow night sound?" she asked the hopping mare.

"Perfect! I'll bring the balloons and confetti!" she said hopping off. "Bye Twilight!"

"Okay, bye Pinkie! Twilight answered as she headed towards the Library once more.

Pinkie hurried to her home. Sugarcube Corner looked glum at night. But it was her home nonetheless. She slowly opened the front door and headed towards the kitchen. Pinkie's stomach now growled loudly. She hadn't eaten anything since breakfast. She looked over to the refrigerator, a note was held there. Pinkie picked it up and examined it.

-Pinkie, there is some leftover lasagna with gummy bears on the freezer. Have a goodnight, Mrs. Cake-

Pinkie smiled and quickly took it outside and reheated it the microwave. She took her plate to her room and quietly ate it in peace.Gummy was in his small bed, already asleep. Lost in thought, Pinkie walked over to her bed, sat on it and remained there for some time eating her food. As she finished off the last bite, a sudden idea flew in. She analyzed it and played it over and over again in her head for a few minutes. She nodded quietly as she repeated the process. If she doesn't feel the same way, I can do that..." she continued. "If she does then even better. It's FULL-PROOF! she shouted, and instantly covered her mouth. Gummy opened his eyes and tried to get some sleep again.

"Sorry." she whispered. Placing her plate on the nightstand, Pinkie took her cover and placed it on top of herself.

Whooo new game plan! I'm up for it

"I will only do it, if I feel it is the right moment..." she mentally told her brain. "There's a chance I might not go through with it. Whether I want it or not."

Well, I hope you do...for the fan's sake.

"... Brain... thanks for being here with me" she smiled and slowly closed her eyes.

Final Spark

A ray of sunshine covered Pinkie's eyes. She slowly opened them and realized the day had arrived. A sudden burst of energy flowed through her body and woke her.

"Brain! Brain! Today is the day!" A mental shout was sent.

Uuuuuugh, an irritated moan filled her mind. Can you lower your voice? I haven't had my coffee yet, dragged footsteps were heard as the brain walked to what Pinkie guessed it was its kitchen. A few seconds passed and a sudden clank of metals were heard, followed by some steam noises. She assumed that it was a coffee machine. Pinkie actually sat down to hear what goes on in her Brain's life on the morning. Suddenly some brewing noises and a soft sip. Ahhh

Silence.

Out of nowhere her thoughts were shaken by the abrupt sound of an explosion, followed by multiple gunshots and wild screaming. Pinkie couldn't help but jolt at the outburst.

WOW! Mace doesn't really take a break. Too bad he doesn't want me near him. Let me just close this door a slam and silence followed.

Alright Pinkie! I'm good. Just had my Coffee and an absurd amount of adrenaline by watching your- Whoops almost gave an upcoming spoiler. Anyways, Ahem, YEA GET PUMPED WHOOOO her crazy brain gave her confidence once more. Pinkie mindlessly smiled in her room as she trotted towards the bathroom to get ready. She tripped and fell on her face. Slowly getting up she looked at her obstacle, Gummy. He stood there, blinking first with his left eye, then his right.

"Oh, yeah. Thanks Gummy. I shouldn't trot so loudly, Mr. and Mrs. Cake might freak out." The alligator stood in silence.

Pinkie quickly got up and tip-toed her way to the bathroom to freshen up. The sound of water emerged from the shower and after a few minutes the door opened. A towel covered Pinkie jumped in front of the alligator with hand raised. "So watch out." she whispered in reminiscence of the old Zecora song she had written. Again, the alligator emotionless as he was, started to walk back to his bed. She picked him up and placed him in his small bed. Placing her towel away, Pinkie turned up her blower, and just dried her hair up. She took a mane curler and tried straightening it. Her mane would lay straight for a few seconds and then poof back to its original curly self. A giggle escaped her mouth.

Pinkie enjoyed doing this.

After her happy failure of keeping her hair straight, Pinkie once again fled her room and walked downstairs to start baking. From a small humming, Pinkie picked up her apron. For which a song started forming in her head and was inevitably brought to life. This small outburst basically woke Mr. and Mrs. Cake, but not with a jolt. Instead a smile crawled up in the old couple's face. The song was not only heard from the kitchen, but to the neighboring houses. It filled Ponyville with the energy of a new day. The old couple walked downstairs and quietly stared at their "almost daughter" with pure delight.

Pinkie had not a care of the world around her, it was just her and her baking skills. Pots flying everywhere but unable to touch the ground. Pinkie had everything in coordination. A few minutes passed and the song ended with a whole day serving of goods and treats. She walked back a few steps and admired contently at her creation. Turning around Pinkie ran towards the couple and hugged them.

"Isn't today just a wonderful day?! The birds are chirping, the day is fresh and the cupcakes are happy!" Happiness overflowed her. The couple couldn't hold back a laugh.

"Any particular reason this morning is special?" Mr. Cake had to ask to pink mare.

"Silly Mr. Cake! Every morning is special! Sometimes we just need a reminder that everyday is a special one."

"Truer words couldn't have been said, dear." Mrs. Cake replied happily.

Pinkie released them and walked to the front door. "Well we can't make everypony wait, let's open up!" After switching the sign from closed to open, the door was immediately barged by a multitude of ponies. Pinkie couldn't help but jump in excitement. She placed herself behind the counter to take all the orders.

"Pinkie, we'll freshen up and be down here to aid you as fast as we can." Mrs. Cake told Pinkie as she and Mr. Cake walked upstairs.

"Okey dokey lokey!"

The morning went by like a blur to Pinkie. Orders came by and out, recognizing each pony and engaging in quick conversations but all seemed to go fast. Today she was not wearing a mask. Today she was truly and deeply happy. Minutes turned to hours. The clock signaled closing time, but this hadn't stopped the pink mare from her energy. Pinkie cleaned up as fast as possible and headed upstairs to take a shower. After all, meeting up with Twilight covered in flour was not in her plans, though it did seem like a good idea.

Remember what Rarity said! her brain taunted.

She hopped once more and readied herself. After her usual ritual, she went straight to the front door. She took a deep breath and opened it, the sunset sky of Ponyville did make her smile more. Closing the door behind her, Pinkie trotted to the Library. A few familiar faces from the day's work reappeared around the town. She always waved back. A familiar place came to her view, and a bright light in her eyes could be seen in a distance.

The Library, Twilight's house.

She approached her crush's door.

Alright Pinkie, just a few knocks. We want to be subtle, like petting a small baby dog.

Multiple loud knocks, was Pinkie's specialty.

"Coming." a certain dragon exclaimed from the inside of the house. The door was opened. "Hey Pinkie, Twilight was just waiting for you, come on in."

Without hesitating, Pinkie walked inside and sat down on one of the couches Twilight had in the living room. Spike approached the stairs leading to his room. "Twilight will be down here soon. Thank you so much Anyways i'm off to bed, goodnight Pinkie" he waved goodbye at the pink mare and climbed the stairs.

"Bye Spikey! We should throw an after-party party! We could have it next week, ohh, i'll start working on it tomorrow!" Excitement rocked the couch she was sitting on. Spike couldn't help but grin.

"Hey, as long as there are jewels, you can count on me."

As Spike was reaching the top stairs, Twilight approached them.

"Goodnight Spike, and thank you for organizing the library...again."

"No problem, i'll see you in the morning" a yawn escaped his mouth as walked back to his bedroom to get some shut-eye. The purple mare started marching down the stairs and she looked over to her guest. "Hi Pinkie" her voice sent internal shivers down Pinkie's spine.

Hold it together! Wait for it! her brain was holding her emotions together. Alright GO! Hug her now!!!

Twilight just stepped off the last step, when she was hugged violently. -Typical Pinkie- was Twilight's only thought at the embrace. "Hi Twilight! Been waiting all day to talk to you! Cause in a way it's like we're having a party only that it's only you and me and-" Twilight interrupted her with a chuckle that turned into a small laughter. "It's always refreshing to talk to you Pinkie, your energy is contagious."

Pinkie froze and blushed a little as she broke the embrace. Again, she was glad her natural color was pink, her emotions could hide unnoticed. They both sat back onto the couch. Twilight sat on the rear left as Pinkie had sat to the right. Twilight looked at Pinkie and her curiosity started building up. Though Twilight wasn't always there to admit it, she loved a small gossip here and then. "So Pinkie, how was your day?" Trying not to be obvious about the subject at hand.

"It was super duper extraordinary!"

Pinkie went on about her day and the wonderful time she had at the bakery. Half hour passed and Twilight paid close attention to her story. When Pinkie finished her story she asked Twilight about her day. She commenced by telling her the books she had read and the errand she ran with Spike. Twilight couldn't help but get sidetracked with her own things. Another half hour passed by, and the night had set upon Ponyville. Twilight finished her day's event and they both ended in chuckles. Pinkie couldn't be happier. A sudden silence fell upon them, and Twilight cleared her throat.

"So, Pinkie." Twilight's eyebrow raised in coordination with the upcoming question. "You said you had feelings for somepony and I assume it's a mare, after all with your preference. So...who is it? Is it someone I know?" her eyes grew with anticipation. Pinkie had such a good time, she forgot to be nervous around the subject. "Yep!" she exclaimed. "We've been friends for sometime now. I never really thought I would fall for her but as I got to meet and spend time with her, I felt like a party had exploded in my heart, and I couldn't wait to be part of it. But I needed to invite her to the party as well." She paused to breath. "But you see, I don't know if she likes mares. Anyways, It's someone very smart and responsible and courageous and has saved Ponyville tons of time and-"

"You like Applejack?!" gasped Twilight as she interrupted Pinkie.

Pinkie turned her head sideways. "Nope"

"Oh, sorry for the interruption. That was rude of me, please do continue." the mare insisted.

"Well overall she is the greatest pony to have ever lived here in Ponyville." she finished off. Twilight pondered at all the information. "Well if you can tell me who it is, I may be of assistance. That is, if you haven't told her." Pinkie replied she hadn't and a sweat started forming in Pinkie's forehead.

"You'll have to tell her eventually" Twilight told Pinkie. "This kind of thing, is like an experiment. You have to gather as much information as you can, but you have to be careful when you try to figure out this kind of information. Cause it just might throw away your investigation and the mare will automatically know where are you going with this" Twilight proudly suggested this to Pinkie. "Would you care to tell me who it is? I may know of her preferences." she insisted once again.

Pinkie began to feel the density of the air around them. The moment was here, she was going to execute her plan. Twilight stood there awaiting her response. Pinkie looked to the side for a brief moment to catch some courage. Looking at her eyes was too much intensity. Her hooves started to sweat. She inhaled deeply.

"I...I actually brought a photo of her with me." Pinkie stammered.

"Oh, really? Can I see her?" Twilight requested.

Pinkie nodded and stood up. "But you have to close your eyes and extend your hooves, I don't want you to go peeking!" Twilight smiled and nodded. She did so, and Pinkie reached out for her mane. As she rummaged through her mane, she noticed a half eaten cupcake, her party cannon, and some party favor. She then gleamed over to the object she was looking for. It was circular with a small frame. She removed it and placed it on Twilight's hooves. Pinkie then sat next to her and told her she could open her eyes. Twilight did so and gripped the item in her hooves. She examined it and a confused face fell upon Twilight.

"Uhhh, Pinkie, you do know this is just a mirror, right? It's not a pict-"

Twilight stopped in her tracks and noticed what she had said. She took the mirror and directed it so she could see her own reflection. Pinkie cautiously observed Twilight a she slowly fell in realization. The eerie silence of the Library was getting to Pinkie. Twilight suddenly smiled and looked at Pinkie with a flush of red in her cheeks. "Wow, I didn't analyze the possibility of it actually being me." she responded. Pinkie had no idea what that meant. Twilight held the mirror tightly as she remembered all the things Pinkie had said before handing her the object. "I feel quite appreciative to your gesture Pinkie. I, however, cannot give you a response now."

Pinkie's heart sunk for a second, but she realized it was to be expected. How could she possibly like somepony off the bat? "That's ok! Whenever you feel ready, just head over to the Sugarcube Corner." Pinkie smiled. The dreaded silence consumed the library once more. Pinkie had enough of it. "Well! I better get going, another fun-filled day waits for me!" She began to hop to the front door. "Goodnight Twilight!"

"Pinkie." Twilight stopped her friend. Pinkie looked back, not knowing what to expect. Suddenly she was being hugged.

"Thank you for caring about me." Twilight told her.

The pink mare blinked twice and slowly embraced her too. After the hug Twilight held the door for Pinkie. The air suddenly felt light for Pinkie. It was done, she had done it. She waved one last goodbye to Twilight and slowly walked back to her house. The night sky was filled with hundreds of stars and Pinkie felt as if each one caressed her soul. The universe itself seemed to be centered around her. She was free of her restraint. The chill cold air, softly pushed against her face. She admired everything around, from the light post to the streets. As she closed in on the Sugarcube Corner, she looked at it curiously. It didn't look glum. Instead it looked brighter than any other house around. Her heart was finally content. When she got near the front door, Pinkie had realized something odd. Her brain wasn't shouting at her, or saying anything as a matter of fact. She wondered what had happened to it.

After climbing back to her room, Pinkie tried communicating with it. But no response. This made her sad and worried. She thought it must have gone somewhere and tried going to sleep, but to no avail.

"Brain please answer back..." Pinkie softly whispered. If there was something Pinkie was afraid of losing, it was definitely a friend. Still no response. Pinkie was beginning to lose hope, when she suddenly heard a door open.

Sorry about that. Had to run some errands with Lauren. Did you peel the potato? her brain asked.

Pinkie was brought back to life. "Mhm"

And is the potato ready to be eaten?

"Not yet" she replied mentally. It was a bit disappointing but Pinkie shrugged that thought away. It was the best night of her life. She had done the deed, she hadn't lost her friend and she could be back to being 100% happy again.

Ok, I can live with that. it responded while it seemed to turn on a television set. So what's next, Pinkie?

"Well, the same thing we have done so far, Brain. Randomize one day at a time." she happily replied stuffing her face with the pillow. "Maybe even with a marefriend..."

Not a bad Idea Pinkie...not a bad Idea.

EPILOGUE

A few weeks have passed by and normality fell to Ponyville. A few incident now and then, but nothing the mane 6 couldn't handle. Eventually the secret had to get out and Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash found out Pinkie's crush. Though a bit shocked, they supported Pinkie. Twilight did eventually give a response to Pinkie. Though not many knew about it. It is said that two mares near the Library have been talking an awful lot during the night. The answer was eventually found when one night Spike awoke to get some water and found Pinkie and Twilight cuddling with each other on the couch. Not wanting to bother them he went on back to his bed.

"Did you hear something?" Twilight asked the mare who was holding her in her hooves.

"It could be a ghost! Pinkie answered quite alarmed.

"Oh you." Twilight raised her head and gently embraced her in a soft kiss.

Pinkie blushed and kissed her back. "That still doesn't solve the ghost problem! Good thing I brought my equipment!"

"Your what?" Twilight asked right before she was sent back to the other side of the couch. As Pinkie took out a weird looking vacuum cleaner, with a strange looking soft brown suit and a boombox. -Who you gonna call? GHOS...- the radio played as Pinkie screeched and tried swinging her weird machine around the Library, while Twilight tried to calm her down, with no success. The ruckus was heard everywhere and neighbors reported the police a few minutes later. It was during that night every single pony in Ponyville found out about the couple. Not like, anyone mind. If there was somepony in Ponyville who could try to control Pinkie, that was definitely Twilight Sparkle...or at least they hoped.

Well this story is done, might as well check on Mace. Opens a door and loud gunshots can be heard. Oh right, you stallions and mares don't know who he is...well I won't give much detail but I heard he is a pretty kickass OC, from the writer. I hope he gets to writing it soon. It looks great from the brainstorming he does. Anyways, th-th-that's all folks!
