> The Elements of Harm-ony > by Chris-Cross13 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Curing Bordom > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "UGH! TWITLIGHT! I'M BOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRR..." "Christian, please stop." Twilight asked as she was reading. "RRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE...Fine." Christain and The Six were lounging around Twilight's house as usual. "Christian is right though Twi." AJ said, flipping through a bunch of random books about farming. "Yea, today is so...bland." Rarity said, lying on the floor and blowing her hair out of the way of her face. "Welp, if you girls got any ideas, i'm all ears." Christian said, lying back on the wooden floor with a flop. Pinkie jumped up and started waving a forehoof around. "OH! OH! OH! ME! ME! I'VE GOT AN IDEA!" "Alright, alright Pinkie. Will you stop acting like you need to desperately use the restroom if we use your idea?" Vague asked. "Doubt it." Dash finished, lounging next to Vague. "Christian can use Twilight for target practice for those new darts!" Pinkie shouted. "Sounds good to me!" Christian jumped right at the idea. "WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! I don't like this idea at all!" Twilight pouted. She hated being used as a target. It was getting harder to sit down. "To be fair Christian, you have used Twi as a target way too much lately." Fluttershy said with a squeak. Christian sighed. "Alright fine...We'll use Rarity! " Rarity gasped in horror. "I beg your pardon?! No you shall not! And nothing is going to..." Rarity froze up like an internet video on a really bad connection. "What the?" AJ tapped on her friend and she fell over, still in the same disgruntled position she was in. "What happened to Rarity?" Twilight said as she poked Rarity's body. "I'm testing out some new darts Zecora gave me for my crossbow. They're supposed to be paralysis darts." Chris said. "Well, it looks like they're working." Dash said. "Rarity, are you ok?" Rarity's response was too jumbled by the garbling of her saliva. "She'll be fine, it'll wear off in a few seconds." Chris said as he sat back down. "Great, now I'm bored again.' Suddenly Vague jumped at an idea. "Oh! Twilight! Can you show me the Elements of Harmony in action? I've seen it on the show but in real life, it should look AWESOME!" Vague gave Twilight puppy dog eyes and started begging like a chihuahua in front of a churro stand. Twilight sighs. "Alright fine, as soon as Rarity is better." "YES! YOU'RE THE BEST!" Vague hugs Twilight affectionately. Twilight blushes, her face turning a bright crimson. She's always wanted to be with a stallion, even if he was partially human! Dash stomps toward Twilight angrily. "Alright Vague, let's go do some flying exercises!" she yells as she forcefully grabs Vague by his wing and drags him outside. Rarity finally gets up from her paralysis, a little light headed. "So what are we doing?" she asks, while trying to gain control of her legs. "I'll explain on the way. Christian if you don't mind, get the elements out of that case please." Twilight heads to the door. "Let's go get Vague back from Dash. Jealous little pegesi." Christian looks around the library. "Uhh, Twitlight I don't see any elements. All I see are a bunch of stupid looking necklaces and a tiara in a display...Oh yea, right." Christian opens the case, grabs the elements, and runs out of Twilight's house. "DASH! VAGUE!" AJ yells up at a nearby group of clouds. "What's up AJ?" Dash asks. "Dash, we're going to show Vague the Elements of Harmony, get down here!" "Fine, but only if Twilight stays away from him!" Dash and Vague flutter down from the group of clouds just as Christian brings the elements. "Here are the Elements of Whatever." Christian gives them to Twilight. "Now if you don't mind, i'm going to go relax and be bored by that tree over there. This whole "elements" thing is really my style. Have fun shooting rainbows at things." Christian walks over to the nearby tree and starts napping. "Pfft, nothing can interest him." Twilight says "You ready Vague?" Pinkie asks excitingly. "We rarely use these things!" "You bet! This will rule!" Vague sits down and looks up at The Six of them with eagerness. He was about to see the most amazing and most powerful power in his life! "Just keep your eyes on the prize." Dash points herself. Vague chuckles lightly at Dash trying to impress him. "Alright girls! Let's do this!" Twilight starts floating upward, her eyes turning bright white. The other five follow her in the same fashion. Vague's eyes grow wide with awe. "AWESOME! OH! Fire a rainbow at that tree over there!" Vague starts jumping up and down excitingly. "You got it Vague! Twilight let's do this!" Dash shouts. The ponies' elements glow vibrantly. A rainbow blasts out of the ponies and heads the tree. Vague's eyes start watering. "SO...COOL!" Christian, who was resting by that same tree. Hears a rather bothersome sound and opens one eye to look around. "What the heck is that noi...OH SON OF A..." The tree are struck with the elements. A bright light fills the area of where the tree was. And it an instant, it's gone. Vague must look away, in fear of being blinded. The Six come back down to the ground, slightly exhausted. "Well? Did you like that Vague?" Fluttershy asked. "IT...WAS...JUST...AWESOME!" "How about me Vague? Was I awesome?" Dash started smothering Vague. "Uh girls, where's Christian?" AJ asks. The ponies look around for a second, but don't see the human anywhere. "Didn't he say he was resting by a..." Twilight pauses mid-sentence as she and the others quickly turn toward the tree they hit, which was now splintered in half. "CHRISTIAN!" They race over to see their friend lying face down on the ground. Christian wasn't noticeably breathing first glance. He looked dead. "Ohmygosh! We hit him by accident! Oh, he's going to be mad!" Twilight starts panicking. She knew Christian was going to throw them in the dungeon for good when he came to. Pinkie starts poking Christian's un-moving body. "Uhh, is he gonna be ok? He's not moving." Rarity then starts panicking. "Oh no! What if we killed him! That's it! we're done for! We'll be in the dungeon for LIFE!" Rarity starts running around in a circles. "I have SOO many more dresses and designs to make." She grabs AJ and starts shaking her wildly. "IT CAN'T END LIKE THIS! IT JUST CAN'T! AJ pushes the crazed unicorn off of her. "Get a hold of yourself Rarity! He's not dead!" AJ rolls Christian over and points to his chest, "See? He's still breathing" "Barely, let's get him to the hospital!" Twilight levitates Christian onto Dash's back. "Celestia's speed Dash!" Twilight yells as Dash soars off en route to the hospital. "I'll go tell Celestia to meet us there!" Twilight runs in the opposite direction as the others race after Dash. "Do you think Christian will be okay?" Fluttershy asks Vague as they're running. Vague thinks worryingly about his unconscious friend. He looks toward the ground as he answers Fluttershy. "Christian's tough, but I don't think he's tough enough to take a hit like that. I don't know Fluttershy. I really don't know." > Luck Of The Draw > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ponyville Hospital was enjoying their slow day. They're hasn't been a huge call for hours. Nurse Redheart was enjoying the peace. It was rare that the hospital in this sort of state. Suddenly, a crash was heard in the main lobby. Redheart jumped at the sound. "SOMEONE GET CHRISTIAN A STRETCHER PRONTO!" "Christian? The human!?" Redheart raced to the lobby to see Rainbow Dash and her friends, exhausted from racing here. Redheart glanced at Dash, who had the unconscious human on her back. "What's the problem girls?" She asked. "No time to explain all of the details! Just get him some help NOW!" Dash shouted as she pointed to Christian. Nurse Redheart carefully took him off of Dash's back. She quickly started down the hall. Dash and the others went to go follow her, but are stopped by another nurse. "I'm sorry, but you girls must wait here." "But we need to know if Christian will be okay!" Rarity said. "We'll give you an update on his condition when we can. But for now, you must wait here." The nurse goes past the doors, leaving the ponies with confused and concerned looks. Celestia and Twilight finally arrive an hour later. Twilight already explained what happened when she arrived at the castle. "Well? What did she say?" AJ asks Twilight as they sit. "She didn't say anything. She didn't even show any expression. she just left for the hospital and I followed after her." "Ohhhh! She must be furious with us!" Rarity whispers. "If she's going to be mad at anyone, it should be me. I'm the one who wanted to see the elements. This whole thing is my fault." Vague was depressed. He had unintentionally hurt his friend. "What if he broke something? Or an organ ruptured? What if he..." Fluttershy put a hoof on the sad pegesi. Vague turned to see her soft, small smile. "Don't worry Vague, I bet Christian will be just fine." Her assuring words made him smile and wipe his eyes. "Thanks Fluttershy. That means a lot." Nurse Redheart finally emerged from the double doors. Everypony got up from their seats. They wanted to know anything about him. Even if it was bad news. Redheart motioned a hoof toward Celestia. "Princess, a word please." Her words made the room go deathly quiet. Celestia looked toward the ground in sadness as she followed Nurse Redheart out of the room. Celestia had to say something, she knew it was bad news. The U.S. was not going to be happy about this, the whole treaty was in jeopardy. "Please Nurse, tell me what's wrong with Christian." She was desperate for information. Nurse Redheart stopped suddenly, she glanced over at the princess. Celestia prepared for the worst. "That's just it, nothing is wrong with him." Celestia was relieved at the news. But then she became completely perplexed. "I'm sorry?" she asked in a confused manner. "Christian has no broken bones, his vitals are fine, no memory loss, and no trauma. Not even a scratch! He was just knocked out for a few hours, but he awoke in peak physical condition." Celestia still couldn't understand. He didn't get hit with just some spell; it was the Elements of Harmony for her sake! "That can't be right." She said, denying the facts as they approached his room. Nurse Redheart opened the door. "See for yourself!" Celestia peers in to see the human watching a video on his phone. He looks up at her with a smile. "Oh, hey PC!" He pauses the video. "Can you believe I get service here? Go figure!" Nurse Redheart goes to leave. "I'll give you two some time alone. I'll be waiting outside if you need anything Christian." "Thanks Nurse Redheart!" She closes the door behind her. Celestia just gawks at the human. He looked fine! He looked as if he had just woke up from a nap! "Christian are you...okay?" Christian laughs at the comment. "Am I ok? I feel great! Why do you ask?" He then realizes something was wrong as Celestia started poking him and looking all around his body. "It's about me getting hit by the Elements, isn't it?" He asks. Celestia nods in confirmation. Christian sighs. "I got to admit, it's confusing. I mean, considering I kinda hate Twilight and maybe the others, I should have at least been turned to stone. But instead, i'm fine!" "I don't understand." Celestia was still in shock. "Maybe humans are immune?" Christian asks. "No, not at all." Celestia responds. "Humans are just as susceptible. The odds of you making it out of this in the form you are in now are astronomical." "In that case, I better go buy a lottery ticket!" Christian laughed. He knew the situation was serious, but he couldn't help cracking a joke. Celestia smiles. "Well, i'm glad you're ok. But for The Six to use the elements as showing off to Vague. They should know better. Something horrible could have happened to you!" "Yea." Christian ponders this little problem. Suddenly, he dawns a huge grin. "I know a way we can teach them a lesson!" "If it involves Twilight being sent to the dungeon, the answer is no." "No, no, no, no! I just...Hang on!" He pauses for a moment before yelling toward the door. "Redheart!" Nurse Redheart zips into the room, the speed would've amazed Rainbow Dash! "What's the matter?! Are you ok?! Does anything hurt?! How are your vitals?!" she starts putting instruments all over his body. "No! Stop it! That bloody tickles!" He shoves her away. "Knock it off! We need your help with something." Redheart looks at her human patient pleadingly. "What is it?" "We're gonna teach The Six AND Vague a lesson about using the elements as a show-offy gimmick!" "How are we going to do that?" Celestia asks, still wondering when his plan will take form. "Think about it Celestia, what did they're faces look like when you left to see me?" "Heartbroken and miserable. Poor things." "Now, you're probably gonna hate me for this. But, what if, now follow with me, I fake my death because of the Elements?" Celestia and Redheart look at him with bewildered expressions frozen on their faces. "Are you sure you checked for head trauma?" Celestia whispers to Redheart. "I'm serious! They need to learn!" "Christian, they do how to use the Elements just fine. This was just a bad example." "Yes, a bad example that could have killed me!" "Well...Yes but still..." Celestia was trying to think of another counterexample. "Think Celestia, you want the best for the girls right? Especially Twitlight." "Twilight." Celestia corrected. "That's beside the point. You're the teacher, do the right thing and teach." Chris looked at her with pleading eyes. Celestia thinks of Christian's words. He was completely right. The girls did do something irresponsible and it was her duty to teach them their faults. "Ok fine, what's the plan?" "Just pretend you're devastated at my condition, and Redheart, you pretend that I "don't have much time left," He winks. "Christian, you can't expect me to lie about my patient's conditions! I refuse to take part!" Redheart turns to leave, disgusted by his idea. "Redheart wait!" Celestia pipes up. Redheart stops instantly and turns toward the Princess, her eyes were big and pleading. "Do it as a royal favor for me. To help The Six and Vague," Redheart nods. "Of course Celestia. "You're the best nurse ever!" Christian shouts as she goes to leave. Redheart gently smiles at the perky human. "Heh, it's no problem. Alright, i'll go get them. I'll be back in a moment." Redheart leaves the room and starts down the hallway again. She thought about the choice she made. Technically, it WAS for a patient and it was for the princess. She was doing everything right. After all, Celestia knows what could have happened to Christian! She stops momentarily by the double doors of the waiting area to take a few deep breaths. She slowly opens the doors. > Definitely Not Skittles > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Hello girls." "IS CHRISTIAN OKAY?!" Pinkie's voice echoes throughout the hospital. Redheart sighs. She thinks to herself about her previous decision one last time, which apparently took longer than what she thought was a few seconds. As The Six surrounded her and kept yelling for an answer. "WELL?!" Redheart snapped out back into reality and sighed once more. "Come see for yourself." She motioned them to follow her down the hall. As they walked down the white corridor, Vague started tearing up. Dash tried to comfort him by snuggling next to him, but he pushed her off and walked faster. The others looked at each other sadly. "He's going through all of this, and all because of the way we used the elements." Vague quickly went to defend the remorseful ponies. "Girls, if you're going to get sent to the dungeon or something, i'll make sure I'll tell Celestia it was my idea to use the elements like that." Twilight shakes her head. "No, Vague I'll..." "No Twilight!" Vague refuses to let them take the fall. "I was the one who made you use the elements! I refuse not to take any blame!" Vague immediately hushed up. He remembered he was in a hospital, not a concert. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of walking, They finally reached Christian's room. Redheart stopped them before they could go further. "Before you enter, their's something you must know." Redheart said. "What is it?" Rarity asked. "We've been monitoring Christian's conditions for some time now." "And?!" AJ asked quickly. Redheart sighed in grief. "This may be the last time you will see him." The others quietly gasped in horror. Vague and Dash started to weep slightly. They rubbed the tears away as quickly as they came. Pinkie's hair deflated as she became depressed at the news. "Does...Does he know?" Dash asked. Redheart nodded. "He may only have one hour. Just please, don't bring it up." Redheart opens the door. They peer inside to see a sickly looking human, "sleeping" on a cot. Christian keeps one eye open as they walk in. But his devious smile quickly turns to a frown as he sees their faces, distraught and depressed, with lines in the fur on their faces to show their tears. Christian thinks about this. They knew it was stupid, this prank was only going to make it worse. He didn't know why he was feeling this, maybe the elements did do something or maybe his self-conscious kicked in, but he knew one thing for sure: This little joke was a no go. Christian quickly rose to a seating position and spoke as great as he could sound. "Hey girls! What's up?" The Six's mouths went from sobs to smiles in seconds. They were shocked that their friend just rose up like that when he was supposedly dying! "Christian you're...you're okay?!" Twilight asked as tears of joy flowed from her eyes. Christian laughed a bit. "Yup, 100%" He glanced over at Nurse Redheart and Celestia and winked. They smiled right back at him, glad not to go through with this. "But Nurse Redheart said you were...you know..." Vague was to happy to see his friend alive and was too overfilled with emotion to continue. Christian knew what he was saying and finished for him. "Well, the reason she said that was because...I had a plan to trick you girls into thinking I was dying." The Six reeled back at this. "WHAT?!" They exclaimed. Christian flew back to the other side of the bed at the sudden outburst. "But, after seeing how devastated you all were. I realized it would have made it even worse." Christian now knew that it wasn't just the girls and Vague who made some stupid decisions today. At least his wouldn't have almost killed him...Well, literally anyway. "Well, good choice dude! You had us worried sick!" Vague said happily. "Yea, but didn't it hurt?" Rarity asks. Christian chuckled. "Yea, the initial blow hurt a lot, but my only real complaint is that the rainbow tasted nothing like Skittles!" "Like what?" Pinkie asked, once again confused at this Earth knowledge. "Skittles are a type of candy that are supposed to "taste like the rainbow"" Vague answers. "We could just go to Cloudsdale and get rainbow there! Who needs some stupid candy!" Dash exclaims. "Well, jokes aside, we're happy you're alright Christian." Twilight says. "And I bet you're happy because i'm not sending you all to the dungeon." Christian responds. The Six are surprised by his generosity, they thought if anything they would get at least a few weeks in the dungeon. But Christian didn't even give them a day? "Awesome! But, why not?" AJ asked. "Christian, you could have died!" "Granted, but it WAS an accident and you WON'T do it again." Christian winked at the perplexed group. They winked back as they celebrated their friend's good health. During this moment however, Redheart interrupts the little get together. "Now Christian, while you look and act healthy, I have informed the Princess and will do the same to you, about if you feel any side-effects of the elements. Who knows what could happen in the next few days?" Christian and Celestia nod. "Got it covered!" They responded. Suddenly, a beeping is heard form out of nowhere. Chris peers at his watch. He groans in aggravation. "Great, it's five already! Sorry girls, but I've got to go. I promised my mother to watch the dog while she takes my sisters out." "Christian, you must stay! Who knows what could..." Redheart continues but Celestia stops her. "I have faith that Christian will be fine. If anything happens, he knows that he can tell me whenever necessary. Go on Christian." Christian nods. "Cool." He looks over to The Six. "See you twerps tomorrow! Let's go Vague!" "Got it!" Vague flies out a window and toward town square to the portal. Chris starts after him. "Lucky son of a gun can fly." He mutters as he races out down the hall. "Bye girls!" The Six wave back. "Bye Christian!" Twilight looks at the human curiously as they go to leave. Something about this whole experience still bothers her though. "Celestia, I don't get it. That's not like Christian to not pull a prank like that on us. I wonder what made him change his mind." Celestia smiles at her confused student. "Even Christian has limits to his gags. He knew that even he went too far this time." "Yea but, this is Christian Celestia!" Dash interrupts. "If given the chance to save himself, he would hand all of us over to Chrysalis, Discord, or even Paradox!" "Maybe, Christian is starting to get a change of heart." Pinkie says. They all freeze for a moment before breaking out into a chorus of laughter. "Pinkie I can't believe you said that with a straight face!" Dash starts rolling all over herself. Every one of them leaving the hospital in stitches as their laughter carries on throughout the toen. "Chris having a change of heart!? The odds are better of it raining bits!" AJ exclaims. "No! No! I think the odds are better of Christian liking Twilight!" Rarity shouts. "Oh! Even better! Him and I actually dating!" Twilight joins in. The last one making them all howling throughout the evening and continuing through the night. > Animal Whisperer > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "All i'm saying, is that you should really watch yourself these next few days! Who knows what side-effects could come up? You could start puffing up like a balloon or get some pony disease!" Tristan has been talking about the warning Nurse Redheart gave right before they left. The whole walk to Christian's house was the same stupid rant. "I know Tristan, but relax. I'm fine! Really!" Chris said as he fumbled through his pockets for his keys. "Darn things! Ahh! Here we go!" He exclaims as he unlocks his front door. suddenly from the top of his stairs, a perky husky runs down to greet the two of them. "Awww! Hello Apollo! Who's a good boy?" Tristan starts rubbing and petting the dog. Christian walks into his kitchen and spots a note. "Christian, please feed the dog. I will be home by 8 with the girls. Thanks! - Mom XOXO" Jeez, she has to put those stupid X's and O's at the end of everything." He goes to the hall. "APOLLO! FOOD!" Apollo's little head quickly looks up and runs from Tristan. He laughs. "Dogs: The only thing ever on their mind is food!" Apollo sits down in front of his bowl, painting and drooling as usual. Christian brings over his bowl, full of chicken and dry food; the usual. "Are you hungry, buddy?" Christian said to the pleading puppy. "Yes! Gimme food!" "Alright here you..." Christian looked down at his dog really quick. Apollo had the same goofy smile on his face. "What's wrong Christian?" Tristan asked. Christian was still frozen in confusion. Christian stared at his dog with sheer confusion for a few more seconds until he snapped out of it. He scratched his head. "Heh, maybe the elements are making me hear things! I could have sworn I heard Apollo talk!" "Can I have food now?" Apollo asked. "Yea sure Apollo you can GAH!" He backed up a bit. "Did you just..." "Wait, you can understand me?" Christian dropped the bowl as he was startled at the response. "Did you hear that Tristan?! APOLLO TALKED!" Tristan looked at him concerned and scared. "Christian, maybe you took a bigger hit to the head then we thought. Apollo has been barking, not talking." Christian starts taking a few deep breaths. "Yea, you know what, it must be the portal, the movement from planet to planet must be messing with my head. I'm going to step out for some air." Christian proceeds to go out his back door, leaving Apollo eating his food off of the floor. Christian lounged in a chair outside. It may be six, but it still looked nice out. The sun was starting to set and he could hear the sounds of the dying summer. Lawnmowers, music, some birds... "So, how are the chicks?" "They're doing fantastic! Robin just learned how to fly the other day!" Christian peers around. He knew someone was there, but the only things that were there were two blue jays flying over head. "Hello? Anyone there?" He kept looking around for the voice. The blue jays flew down to Christian. "Hello! How are you this evening?" They greeted. Christian was left with a blank expression, dumbfounded by the communication going on. "Uhhh..." was all he could get out. "Excuse me!" Christian turned to see a squirrel at his feet. "Do you have any acorns?" It asked. "Umm, no?" Christian then realized that this wasn't just his mind. He could actually hear these animals...talking to him! "Do you guys know what i'm saying too?" The birds look at the squirrel. Has he been spacing out for the past few seconds? "Yes, we can clearly understand you." Christian blinked. "I've gotta go!" He rushed back into his house and swung open the door. Tristan was napping on the couch and Apollo was chewing on his ball next to him. "Tristan, let's go!" "AHHH!" Tristan flipped off the couch. "Wha?" "We're going back to Equestria, NOW!" Chris took out his car keys. "LET'S GO!" He dashed out the door. Leaving Tristan in a perplexed manner. "You know, we could've just gone through the portable portal!" Tristan yelled as the door slammed behind him. Tristan shrugged. "Whatever, i'll meet him there. Apollo, be good!" Apollo barked as a response. Tristan took out the portable portal and walked through. The lights and low sounds soon dissipated through the house. Apollo took no interest and went back to chewing his ball. A few minutes later, Celestia was filling out some paperwork at her throne, when she heard some knocking at the door. She looks up and shrugs. "Door's open!" She yells as she goes back to work. The knocking turns into a banging and gets progressively louder. Celestia looks up yet again. "What the?" The door flies open as two figures stand in the doorway. "CELESTIA! WE NEED TO TALK!" Celestia quickly rose from her seat and set down her work. "Christian, what's wrong? Are you experiencing any side-effects?" "If by "side-effects" you mean I CAN NOW TALK TO BUCKING ANIMALS NOW! THEN YES! I HAVE BEEN HAVING SOME WEIRD SIDE-EFFECTS! WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!?" His voice booms throughout the land. Every pony in Ponyville and Canterlot turn toward the castle in distress. A sleeping blue unicorn from outside of town wakes up from a rather soothing nap. "Wha was that, Paradox?" Trixie asks lazily. "Sounds like Luna stubbed her hoof again. Dumb princess was a lot less clumsy as Nightmare." Back at the castle, Celestia was trying to regain herself from Christian's meltdown. Vague was trying to regain his hearing, as he had become suddenly deaf. Luna rushed down the stairs to see what that explosion was. "What in Equestria was that!? It was louder than...me!" Celestia pointed toward the now calm human. Christian blushed in embarrassment. He had a sensitive temper. "Uhh, sorry...about...that. I'm normally not THAT mad. It's just that, this is just... bizarre." "More bizarre than becoming an FBI agent or ambassador of a planet full of ponies?" Luna asked. "...Good point." "WHAT?!" Vague yells, still trying to recover his hearing. "Well, at least it's a cool side-effect. Plus, I can know rub it in The Six's faces and watching my dog will be WAY easier!" Christian was almost actually becoming happy that he almost died today! Those ponies inadvertently did him a favor! Luna shakes her head in disagreement and laughter. "Now Christian, How do we know you actually can...communicate with animals?" She asks, calling his bluff. Chris eyes her narrowly. Him? lying? About some awesome skill? No way! "Alright, i'll prove it. Celestia, you have a pet phoenix right? What's her name, uhh Philosophy? Philographer?... "Philomena" Celestia says. "Yea that's it!" Christian claps his hands twice. "PHILOMENA! COME HERE!" Suddenly, a bright light flies down from upstairs and lands on Christian's outstretched arm. Philomena started preening her feathers as she waited for a command. "Philomena, go fly circles around Luna's head!" The fiery bird complies and starts zipping around Luna's head. She flies so close, her hair almost catches on fire. Causing Luna to freak out and follow the flaming bird as it darts around her head. "Stop her Christian! She's making me *hiccup* dizzy." Luna started feeling light headed and nauseous. Celestia was astounded at this little trick. "Impressive." Celestia comments. Christian smirks. "Alright, I think I've made my point Philomena, go fly back upstairs." Philomena nods and flies back up to Celestia's room. Luna collapses moments later, her eyes spinning around wildly. "See? Told you." "WHAT?!" "I must say Christian, this is rather fascinating. Your new communication with animals could benefit Earth and Equestria. Keep an eye on this new ability of yours and see if anything changes. This could be permanent or temporary." "Pfft, let's hope it's permanent then." Celestia giggles. I guess this was Christian's way of saying: "Hey, I almost died today, but now that I can talk to animals, I'm fine with it!" Suddenly, a familiar beeping is heard. Christian looks at his watch and jumps at what he sees. "Oh shoot! It's 7:30! I've gotta go! I'm supposed to be home! Come on Vague! Let's go!" He runs for the door in a flash. "WHAT?!" Christian looks back in aggravation. Vague still couldn't hear? Granted he was two feet away when he had his outburst. "Oh, for the love of cupcakes!" Christian grabs Vague and drags him back to Earth. Celestia and Luna look at each other. "So...What just happened?" "Well, Christian made you dizzy and can now apparently talk to animals...Today has been quite eventful. I'll inform The Six tomorrow of Christian's new ability. They ought to find this interesting and exciting!" Celestia moves her current papers and starts writing a fresh letter to Twilight. "She'll most likely not respond until morning, but I might as well start writing now!" Luna ignores her sister and goes back upstairs. Today has been eventful indeed...If she only knew what the heck happened.
