> Harmony of the moon > by Alchemystudent > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > What? Usagi is a pony? > --------------------------------------------------------------------------         A small white unicorn with a blonde mane woke up with a stretch and a yawn, “MMMMMMMM, what a beautiful day,” She said, before looking around the hill that she was on, “Wait...where am I? This isn’t my house, and this isn’t Juban! Where...what happened to me?” The young mare asked, trying to sort out her thoughts. Getting up, she looked to the small village at the bottom of the hill she stood upon. As she stood up, her body felt weird and a little different. It was as if she was standing on her hands and legs at the same time. She shook her head at the notion, figuring it was probably just her imagination or a delirium brought on by a teleport. Looking back at the village, she decided to walk down to it to find out where she is. Taking her first few steps, she began to feel even weirder, as if her body was working differently than normal. Moving what she had assumed to be her her arm to her face she saw that, in place of a hand, she now had a snow white hoof. In shock she took a few awkward steps to the side and began to tumble down the hill and into the town. As she got up she turned to a nearby window and got a good look at her face, “I’M A PONY?!”         This is Usagi Tsukino, she is 16 years old and a bit of a crybaby. However, she is secretly a warrior for love and justice, Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon. Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: Equestrian adventures Ch.1: WHAT? Usagi is a pony?         Usagi took a few steps back, the shock of her new body taking over her mind, “W...What happened to me, how did I get like this,”  the thoughts continue to streak through Usagi’s mind as she began to walk away from the reflective window in shock and try to get used to the new body. Luckily for her, getting used to walking on all fours seemed to come rather easy to her, as if she was doing it all of her life. She took a look at the town that laid behind the building, and began to wonder if the people who lived there would have some answers. Walking through the town, she began to take note of the buildings and the rumbling of the early morning workers getting their stores ready. As she headed deeper into the town, she felt her stomach rumbling reminding her that she had not eaten any breakfast, looking up she saw a small house that looked like a gingerbread house. Guided by her stomach, she quickly ran to the store and inside of it, looking at all of the treats on the counter, “ Oh my gosh look at all of the good food and...” she raised her head to look at the Pink pony with a bouncy pink mane looking over at her from the counter, “you’re a pony.” “YEP! For as long as I can remember,” She then let out a huge gasp as she looked at the white unicorn. “OH! A new pony! Hi! MY name is Pinkie Pie and welcome to Sugar Cube Corner, Oh I have got to get a party for you to show you around town, not to mention introducing you to everypony.”                  “How can this be happening, turned into a pony for some reason and sent into a world with ponies in it. How did I even get here and,” Usagi looked at her flank to take note of a gold cresent shaped cutie mark, “What is that?”  The pink pony looked down at the mark on Usagi’s flank and gasped, “A moon cutie mark! How did you get it? Are you related to the princesses, do you work for them? Are you an astronaut,”Pinkie was about to go on when she was interrupted  by the sound of the door opening and the arrival of a violet unicorn The young mare walked into the store with her bags on her sides, looking around to see what to buy. Turning around she noticed the Usagi talking to the pink mare. “Oh hello, you must be new. I’m Twilight Sparkle, and you are?” “Oh, I am Usagi Tsukino, please to meet you all.” She said, bowing to the ponies. “OH! A Neighponese pony, this is fantastic! I’ve always wanted to study the cultures of other countries. If you have the time, i’d like to hear about your people in detail some time,” She stopped herself for a moment, thinking of how off track she was getting, “Sorry about that. So what brings you to Equestria?” Usagi was lost in herself for a moment, taking in all of her new features such as her horn, “A unicorn? This is so cool,” She looked at the unicorn, trying to figure out the answer to Twilight’s question, “I don't really know. I fell asleep on my couch and then I awoke on a hill just outside of town.” Twilight arched an eyebrow, curious at this little bit of knowledge, “You...just teleported here? Without anyone else doing it or with you knowing about it?” “Yeah,” Usagi said starting to wonder if she was just brought over here with a bit memory loss because she was having a hard time believing her own story, “but I was a human just yesterday, I know it. I am sorry, but I have no idea how I got here or why.”  Twilight looked at Pinkie and then back to Usagi, “Well, maybe while we walk you can tell me all about yourself and maybe it will help jog your memory.” Usagi nodded in happy agreement and grabbed some muffins from the counter. Turning around to follow the unicorn, Usagi realized that she forgot to pay, “I am sorry, I don't have any money.” “Its on the house, so don't worry! Just promise me that you will have so much fun at the party later,” Pinkie said. “Party?!” Usagi said, with a mix of excitement and curiosity. “Don’t worry, you’ll see soon enough,” Twilight said as she walked out the door, Usagi in tow. The two ponies walked down the road, their conversation being mainly Twilight asking about Neighpon and its people and Usagi responding in kind to the best of her ability. As their walk continued, a few thoughts began to enter Usagi’s head, “I am a Unicorn, a UN-I-CORN! This is so cool. I wonder what cool magic I can do, or what cool spells I can summon. Its a shame I don't have wings though, I wish I could fly. Oh if only Rei and the...” Once she began to think of her friends, she began to hang her head down.Taking a deep breath, she sighed as she stared at the ground.         “Is something wrong,” Twilight stopped asking questions as she she stood next to Usagi, putting her hoof onto Usagi’s shoulder.         “Its my friends,” Usagi sniffled a little. .        Twilight looked at Usagi, “What happened?”         “Its just that, I realized that I have no idea if my friends came here with me. I could be all alone out here without them.” Usagi also began to think of the one closest to her, someone who could never be replaced. “Don’t worry,” Twilight said, lending Usagi a comforting hoof on the shoulder, “They’ll be here to see you soon, I’m sure,” Twilight then looked at Usagi’s neck and saw a pink pendant, “What’s that pendant?”         Usagi looked down at her neck, seeing the pink pendant held by a golden necklace. Seeing it flooded her with memories of her friends and lover fighting together, standing as one, “Oh, this? Its my...” “HELP! SOMEPONY HELP ME!!!! OH Twilight, there you are, I need your help,” A pony with an orange mane yelled as she ran down the street. “Carrot top? What’s the matter?” Twilight asked. “Come with me, I’ll show you!” Carrot top said as she led Twilight back down where she came from, Usagi deciding to follow right behind them. The three ran through the straight streets of Ponyville, passing several vendors and ponies until they reached the outskirts of the town, near a forested area. Just a few feet away lay Carrot top’s garden, currently being ravaged by a large rock beast. It resembled a dragon without wings. Its red eyes showing that the creature wanted to destroy and crush the small farm. It began to swipe its large stone claws across the ground as it let out a large roar.         Twilight lit up her horn and turned to Carrot Top, “Run!”and then turned to fire a magic bolt into the drake’s head, knocking a few stones from the top and side. The drake shook its head as it reeled back from the shot. Turning to where the blast came from, he saw Twilight and Usagi. He reared up and roared, showing the mossy underbelly. It stomped slowly towards Twilight, closing the distance with only a few steps so it could take a swipe at her with it’s claws. Twilight bearly had time to jump away from the monster’s attack. “ I’ve got to help her...but” Usagi then looked down at her pendant, “Will my powers even work here? There's only one way to find out!” Grabbing her pendant around her neck with a hoof, she lifted it into the air. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING, RUN!” Twilight said, as she jumped away from the beast’s second swipe, getting a long cut on her foreleg and landing a few feet away. “MOON CRISIS POWER! MAKE UP!” With a yell a bright, blinding flash came over the white unicorn. Once the bright light diminished, Usagi stood there now dressed in a sailor uniform with a small skirt around her flank. Her two buns on top of her head with red gems to match the color of the tiara that now adorned her head, “ I have no idea who you are, but you are ruining that poor pony’s harvest!l Ruining innoncent pe-I mean ponies’ livelihoods is something I cannot forgive.” The monster turned to Usagi, growling a little as it took a few steps towards its loud prey. Rearing his claws, he slashed them at Usagi,, but she jumped out of the way,  “I am the pretty soldier of love and justice! SAILOR MOON!” Placing her forehooves over one another, “And in the name of the moon, I’ll punish you!”  The monster roared in response. “Sailor...moon?” Twilight asked as she watch the pony describe herself. “Yep, now watch me.” Usagi then channeled her magic through her horn instinctively, and used it to levitate her tiara. It began to glow in the grip of the magic, and then turned into a spinning disc of light  as she turned her head to throw it. “Moon Tiara ACTION!” the spinning disc then flew through the air, hitting the monster in the head and making it stumble back a little before letting loose one final roar before disappearing into a puff of smoke..           Usagi watched the creature turned into nothing more than smoke from the attack, and then looked down. One part of her was happy to know that she still had her powers in this new world, but another part of her felt sad. Deep down, she wanted at least one place where the soldier was not needed. She sighed, and closed her eyes as she demorphed, letting her pony body to return to normal. Then she turned to Twilight, ready to do some explaining. Twilight looked on in shock as to events that had happened, she had only wanted to immobilize the  rock drake, not kill it. Turning around fiercely, she was ready to start asking questions of the soldier; however, another thought began to enter her head ‘That drake, it’s part of the draconic species. Why was it rampaging mindlessly like that? Was it even living? How did it even get here?’ “Just what was that? How did you transmute your tiara like that? What was that spell you used to transform. and most importantly” Twilight’s next question had a little shake to it, still trying to process it, “did you just murder that thing?”         Usagi’s eyes opened wide in shock at the question, she had never given much thought about the creatures that she had taken down in the past. They were evil, faceless apparitions with usually only one goal in mind and nothing more. She looked up at Twilight hoping to make her understand, “ I don't think I murdered it,” Turning her head to look where the beast once was, “I fought things like that before. They...they’re usually mindless beast who don't do anything but hurt others. If I thought there was anything good left in that thing, I would’ve tried to save it. Really,” Her eyes looked despondent, and hurt. She did not want to lose a potential friend and she did not want to think herself as a murderer, “I...I would have.”         Twilight looked on at the white unicorn, noting the sadness in her eyes. She wanted to believe this young mare, but she also didn’t like the idea of destroying creatures. Then again, it left nothing but a wisp of smoke, as if it was created by something or conjured by a mage. “Ok,” unlike one of her friends, she was good at lying, “I understand, but I am still going to keep my eye on you. So, Sailor Moon? How did that happen?” “Oh, that,” Usagi smiled, happy for the change in subject, “You see, about 2 years ago, I was walking down the street when I saw this black cat...” _____________________ Somewhere, deep in Whitetail wood, a small wisp of smoke appeared, coming from the body of the vanquished drake, “The Guinshuizo...I smell it,” It then flowed out slowly through the woods as a small dark whisp with a black hand. It saw a small blue bird, singing a soft song and grabbed it within its tendrils draining its life energy, until it was nothing more than a husk. > Shining! the four stars reunite > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shining! The four stars reunite.         Usagi and Twilight walked away from the site of the battle, after doing what they could to help fix Carrot top’s farm. Walking through the recently awakened town and towards a giant tree in the middle of town. Twilight was busy with her own thoughts about what had happened earlier, “What was up with that Drake back there? I have heard that were territorial and intelligent, they would never attack a small farm like that with no reason. Why was he so mindlessly aggressive,” Twilight turned her head to look at Usagi, who was busy talking about her friends, “And this unicorn, what’s her story, why could she transform like that, and does she know anything about that drake?”         Twilight was knocked out of her thoughts by Usagi calling her name, “HEY TWILIGHT!”         “I’m sorry, what did you say?” “I asked why are we heading to that huge tree house,” Usagi asked, only guessing that it was a house by the presence of lights within the building. “This is my home and also a library, “ Twilight said, looking ahead of her as they neared the door, “I was thinking of stopping here for an hour so I can do some research on that drake and...SPIKE WHAT HAPPENED HERE?!” She yelled as she looked at the inside of her library, now littered with towers and towers of books. At the sound of her voice, a purple dragon with green spines walked out from behind one of the many book towers. A down look on his face as he walked up to Twilight, making sure not to trip over the towers and make a bigger mess, “I thought I told you to help organize and shelve the new books that came in.” “It wasn’t me who did this Twilight,” Spike said, shame in his voice, “It was your long lost twin  over there,” Spike said, pointing to a blue mane seen behind one of the shorter book towers. “My ‘twin’” Twilight snarked. “Yeah,” Spike explained, “ I was about to begin shelving the books when this blue earth pony walked in.  When she saw all of the books around here, her eyes did that weird thing your’s always does when it sees a new book or an .” “What weird thing?” “Anyway,” Spike quickly backtracked, “  I told her that you would be back in a few minutes and  she could look up a book  then. Well, she said that she would just be a moment and that she would be out in a sec. the next thing I know we’re in book city.” Usagi became curious as to who this book engrossed filly was and began to walk into the library, moving slowly and carefully in between the towers of books. The white unicorn admired the way that the towers  were neatly stacked, organized by title, and each tower was set by genre. Walking deeper into the book city, she found Twilight’s new guest when she saw the top of a blue mane sticking out from behind a small tower of books. Looking over the edge, she saw that the mare was an earth pony with a blue mane and tail; however, the most interesting sight to her was the cutie mark on her flank. It was a heart-shaped icon on top of a cross with two lines popping out of the top, the symbol of mercury, “AMI-CHAN,” Usagi said with a squee as she leapt through the booktowers and tackle glomped the blue mare. The blue mare looked up at the white unicorn, taking the time to recognize the figure by her odd bun-style hair, “Oh, Usagi,” Ami said in a very soft voice, “you...are squishing me.” Usagi blushed and chuckled as she got off her friend and let the blue mare up, “I’m sorry, its just that,” she leaned in and nuzzled her friend, “ I am so glad to see you.” Ami smiled, even if she was  never one for socialization she still cherished the moment she would see her friends, “So am I. Are the others here too?” “I don’t know,” Usagi said, looking down before perking up again, “But, if you are here, then that must mean the others are here as well.” “So, who’s your friend,” Twilight asked, using her magic to lift up the books that had fallen and place them back into evenly dispersed stacks. “This is Ami Mizuno, she’s one my best friends.” Ami politely bowed to the unicorn before her, “Please to meet you.” “Twilight, I know that you want to research the monster and all, but can we please look around Ponyville some more. If Ami-chan is here, then I just know that others must be here too!” Twilight was about to say no, but then she looked at Usagi’s pleading eyes, “If me and my friends were stuck in a weird world, I wouldn't wait to look for them. Sure, I’ll research the drake when we get back.” Ami looked at the white unicorn, a look of worry coming across her face, “You were attacked?” Usagi sighed, “Yeah we were,” the mare turned her head to the side, “Which is something I want to talk about. Do you mind staying here for a bit so we can all meet up later?” Ami nodded,” Sure. I have kind of wanting to interview the young wyrmling” Spike, picking up a book to shelve, licked his lips, “Worm, what worm?” “Spike,” Twilight said as she put up some of the books, “She means you.” “Oh.” He said, realizing his mistake. “I might not have a chance to talk to a creature like him again, and the ability to discover about dragons is interesting. I do wonder what other species live here. In particular the various equine races. Did you know that they have some pegasi here as well,” Ami said, a look of curiosity on her face. “No, I didnt know that, can't wait to see them! Come on Twilight,” Usagi said, skipping out the door. “Spike could you,” Twilight was then stopped as she saw Spike in the middle of conversation with Ami. “So then when I was 5 I found this giant ruby right beneath the princess...” Twilight shook her head, realizing that there was no talking to the Dragon at this point. Turning around she walked out the door to follow Usagi. ____________________         As the two unicorns walked through the lively streets of Ponyville, the white unicorn began to skip along. Her energy seemingly to be increased than earlier thanks to the presence of her friend and the hope that the others would be in this world too. Taking her time in skipping, she began to look and admire all of the buildings around her.         Twilight watched the young white unicorn bounce around excitedly as she walked, being reminded of Pinkie in so many ways, “Rarity sometimes likes to listen to gossip, so maybe she might have heard something,” she then turned her head to look towards a building that resembled a blue merry-go-round, “Her place is just up ahead.”         As they neared the building, they could hear muffled talking coming from within. Twilight stopped herself from entering through the door, realizing that Rarity would be in there with a customer. Usagi, on the other hand, listened closely to the two voices as they talked amongst themselves. Curious at who was inside, she pushed her hoof against the door and pushed it slowly open. Peaking inside the door, she watched as a white unicorn began to lift and move fabric around as she talked to another mare, “Oh darling, I can not thank you enough for letting me have this opportunity to work with silk and Neighponese design,” she said and she used her magic to wrap some red cloth around the other unicorn.         “You’re welcome,” Said the unicorn, with a low-feminine but sophisticated tone, “I was going to do some reading of fire to find some important people and I needed the right robes for the ceremony.”         “Fire reading? Could it be,” Usagi peaked in a little bit more to get a good look at the red unicorn that was talking. She took note of how beautiful that the red unicorn looked, her sleek body highlighting every curve of her body. The black mane and tail helped to highlight the unicorn’s beauty as the red of her coat helped to show off her golden cutie mark. The mark was an arrow pointing to the lower right with a heart on top of the shaft. The white unicorn opened her eyes in joy as she recognized the symbol, “REI!!!!!!!!!!” She ran quickly into the boutique, jumping into the red unicorn and wrapping her legs around the red unicorn’s neck, nuzzling.         “Hello, Usagi,” Rei said, smiling softly as she looked back at the white unicorn, “ Since you are here, does this mean that there others are here too?”         Usagi nodded quickly, “Ami is currently at this library, which is a giant tree by the way, cool huh? I haven't found Minako or Mokoto just quite yet.”         Rei looked at Usagi, a serious look on her face, “What about Mamarou?”         Turning her head, she quickly changed her face to a crestfallen look,” No, I haven't seen him.”         Rei patted Usagi’s shoulder, “He’ll be here.” At this, Usagi perked up a little.         “So, who is this,” Twilight asked, standing next to the white unicorn.         “This is Rei Hino, one of my other friends that I wanted to find,” Usagi said, turning to Rei, “hey, as soon as I can find the others, we are all planning on meeting in the library. See you there,” then she ran off out through the door.         “Rarity, there is something I want to talk about our new guests, could you meet me and the others at the library,” Twilight asked, looking over her shoulder at the exiting senshi.                  “All right, I’ll be there,” Rarity said, before turning around to talk with Rei some more while Twilight followed Usagi.         As Twilight caught up with Usagi, she looked back over her shoulder at the boutique, “ So, are all of your friends senshi?”         Usagi happily nodded, “Yes, Ami represents Mercury, Rei is Mars, and then my other friends represent Jupiter, Venus, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, and Pluto.”         “Nine girls representing  nine different planets? Just who is this girl,”  Twilight thought to herself as she found her and Usagi heading towards Sweet Apple Acres. As they neared the entrance to the farm, they could overhear a boisterous voice yelling, “Come on Applejack! Hurry up and beat this mare so I can have a turn.”         “Just give me a sec, RD. This pegasus ain't as easy to beat as she looks,” Said an orange earth pony to a blue pegasus, “ come on ya little sissy, you can push harder than that!”         “Actually, I have been holding back since we started,” The green pegasus snarked as she began to push a little bit harder against the southern farmer’s hoof, her brown ponytail mane draped over her shoulder.         Walking over the hill, the two unicorn mares caught eye of the hoofwrestling match that was taking place. As they watched the two combatants continue to try and overpower one another, vying for superority. Usagi took the time  to look at the green pegasus and smiled as she looked at the small golden cutie mark, a backwards four, “MAKO-CHAN!!!!”         Hearing the yell, the green pegasus turned towards the direction of the sound and was distracted long enough for Applejack to gain the advantage, “OOOF,” Mako grunted as she was thrown from her  seat and onto the ground, “Usagi, couldn’t you have wait...USAGI,” she said as she got up and ran to Usagi, giving her a high hoof, “Its so good to see you here.”         Usagi smiled as she looked at her dear friend and her wings, “Its great to see you here too, and look you are a pegasus, that,” Usagi then went very sullen, “Oh, you are a pegasus. Are you ok?”         “Yeah,” Makoto said, looking at her wings with a scowl, “It seems that someone out there likes to play irony with me. The girl who is afraid of flying is now the creature that is born to fly, whohoo.”         Usagi placed a comforting hoof onto her friend’s shoulder, “Are you sure you’ll be alright?”         “Yeah, don't worry,” Makoto said with a chuckle, “Its just gonna take awhile to get used to seeing,” Makoto turned to see Rainbow Dash and gave a little shudder, “them, without feeling a little nervous. But I’ll be fine, really.”         “Don’t worry, Makoto, the others are here too, so they can help you adjust.”         As Usagi and her friend continued their conversation, Twilight walked over to the pegasus and earth pony standing next to the stump that was used for their match, “So what brought this on?”         “Well, I was dozing in one of the trees when I heard some arguing coming from those two,” Dash said, pointing to the orange mare next to her. “Ah was walking down through the orchard when I saw her,” she points her hoof to the green pegasus, “practicing some kicking on one of mah trees. Ah was impressed, of course, by her strength and talent at bucking trees and got to talking with her. Somehow or another, we began to try and one up each other and that led to that little match you saw back there. So who is she?” “Her name is apparently Makoto,” Twilight said listening to the conversation between Usagi and her friend, “She is one of that girl’s friends.” “ And why is she being such a jerk, anyway?” Dash asked, floating. “What do you mean?” “Every time she has been looking at me, she has been backing away or trying to look the other direction. It’s like she’s never seen a freakin pegasus before” Twilight looked over at the two mares as the white unicorn walked over to her, “I don't know what her problem is, but I’ll talk about it. Girls, I was planning on talking to you about our new guests at the library. See you there,” Twilight ask, watching the girls nod in agreement. Turning around, she began to walk away with Usagi as Makoto continued her game with the others, “Why is your friend acting so nervous around Rainbow Dash.” “Oh, well you see...” Usagi looked down, not sure if Makoto would be ok with her saying this, “ Back where we came from, her parents died, “ Usagi paused, wanting to think of the right term for this world, “in a flying accident a few years ago. It left her an orphan and ever since then she has been afraid of flying or of anything with wings. Its really not your friend's fault, Makoto just...has had some bad experiences.” Twilight listened to what the unicorn said in understanding, after all if it had been her family killed in an accident, she might be traumatized too.  Turning around they continued their walk towards a small cottage just on the outskirts of a dark forest. Walking closer they heard a very soft voice coming from the back of the cottage, “Oh, I am so sorry we haven't found him yet. I do have this other white cat, though. Is he the one you’re looking for?” The yellow blonde maned pegasus took a good look at the blue eyed kitten and shook her head, “No, he isn’t,” She said with a sigh, “ The one I am looking for is white with a crescent moon on his forehead and...excuse me,” she said as she saw Usagi out of the corner of her eye. Taking off into the air and doing a backflip, she flew right into Usagi and tackled her before nuzzling her, “Usagi, I was wondering when you would get here.” Usagi arched an eyebrow in confusion, at first, before looking at the heart shaped cutie mark on her flank, “MINAKO-Chan.” As Twilight got over to Fluttershy to begin talking to her, Minako began talking to her friend, “Oh, I am so glad to see that you and the others made it here!” Usagi looked wide-eyed at her friend, “You knew we would be here?” “Well, I figured that if I was here, then you guys might be popping up soon as well,” Minako looked to Usagi serious for a moment, “Did you see Luna here anywhere? Artemis isn't here either.” “No, I haven't seen her at all,” Usagi said, suddenly realizing that her cat was not nearby for the first time, “Do you think something bad happened to them?” “No, I don't think so,” Minako said, “ I think whoever sent us here, only wanted senshi and that’s it. I think he just wanted to grab us and us alone,” She then looked at the down look in Usagi’s eyes, “Hey, don't worry, I’m sure that Mamo-chan is counted too and he’s here too.” “You think so,” Usagi asked, her expression lightening up, “Oh, that would be so wonderful. Then we could all vacation here, together.” The young yellow pegasus nodded to Twilight in agreement as the purple unicorn turned to Usagi, “Hey, Usagi, we’re done here, let's head back to my home.” “OK,” Usagi turned to Minako and pointed with her head, “the others are all meeting up at that big tree to talk, ready to come with?” Minako energetically nodded as she followed the other mares to the small town of Ponyville. __________________ A few hours pass once the 6 ponies and the 5 senshi had all gathered at the treehouse. The first thing that Pinkie did upon seeing the new guests was take out a big cannon and fire it, unleashing a huge barrage of party favors, confetti, and balloons. The party went on, as one would expect, with lots of introductions and having a lot of fun with the groups together. They would begin to dance with one another, play some games, and talk to one another to find out more about each other and the world that the senshi now found themselves in. As time went on, the 11 ponies soon split into two groups and began to discuss, “So why do you look so distrusting of them, Twi? They look like good ponies,” Applejack said as she ate a small apple tart. “It’s not that I am distrusting of them, its more like I am worried about them and why they are here and who they really are,” Twilight said, looking at the senshi. “Why is that darling,” Rarity asked, sipping some tea. “Well, first, its how Usagi took out that drake. I know that she said it wasn't alive, but how can I be sure she wasn't lying. Second, what about her transformation abilities and the fact that she has no idea how she got here. Third, why was that drake a mindless beast, when they are as intelligent as any dragon. It’s just seems so weird,” Twilight said, drinking from a milkshake. “Well, if they were going to attack us, why not do it now, while we’re talking,” Dash asked. “That’s another thing, beyond what Usagi did, they are all nice girls who seem to be nice. I just want a way to keep an eye on all of them to find out what is going on.” Little did Twilight know, an opportunity was about to arise as the senshi were also having a discussion, “So Ami, know why we got sent here yet.” USagi asked, nibbling on some cake. “No, I haven't,” Ami said as she ate a daffodil sandwich, “ The situation that we are in is all very peculiar.” “I agree,” Rei said, looking at the mane 6 behind them, “Its obvious that we haven't been kidnapped by some evil force, or why would we still have our powers?” “Maybe its trying to trick us,” Makoto said, “ Making us think that there is nothing wrong until we are defenseless and then attack?” “No, I did a reading before I got here,” Rei said, looking down at the tea, “There isnt that much evil around here, well...at least not more so than what I would find if I did it back home.” “Not to mention, the ponies here are really nice, but not Stephord Wives level of niceness,” USagi said, eating another cake.” Minako then smiled as she looked to her friends, “So basically, we are in a world where there is little threat, no guardians, no parents, all of our powers, the ponies can control the weather and the sun, all together, in the middle of spring, no school, and we have some an entire place to explore. Girls, you realize what this means,” In a flash, Minako raised her hooves up in the air “VACATION TIME WHOOOOO!!!!!!” “But, Minako, I still need to discover,” Ami said, but was quickly interrupted by the wave of Minako’s hoof. “Yeah, yeah. I know, you need to find a way home, but look. You are in a libary, the purple unicorn is this student of a magical princess or something, I figure there must be something you can find to get us home. In the meantime, we have all the time in the world to relax and enjoy ourselves,” Minako said, eating a cupcake. “Its not that easy, Minako,” Rei said, annoyed at Minako’s cheerfulness. “Sure it is, what is she missing Rei,” Usagi asked. “Where are we going to live? Its not like we can find a hotel or anything” “Maybe we could help,” Twilight said, overhearing the senshi talking and forming a plan, “I’m sorry, I couldn't help but overhear. You guys are looking for places to stay, I was thinking about helping out and offering a place to stay.” Ami smiled, “Oh, that would be nice. I would like to stay here so I can study.” “DIBS ON THE BLUE PEGASUS,” Minako yelled as she flew to Dash. “Oh, Rei, I would be honored if you would live with me,” Rarity said. “Well, Ah could use an extra set of hands on the farm. But ah expect you to work for it,” Applejack said looking at Makoto. Usagi immediately ran to Pinkie, “Come on Pinkie, I want to get setted real quick,” She said as she ran out the door with Pinkie in tow. The others soon followed and left Ami and Twilight in the library. “Five girls, representing five planets and with some strange powers...I wonder what we are getting into,” Twilight thought to herself as she closed the door.   > Baking, Cooking? How do you do that with hooves? > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 3: Baking, cooking? How do you do that with hooves?          Applejack slept peacefully in her bed, allowing the morning light to shine through the windows of her house. It’s not that she was one for sleeping in (unlike a certain rainbow-maned friend of hers) but on a day like today, she enjoyed waking up to the sweet smell of pancakes on the grittle being cooked, “AW DARN IT!” a voice screamed from the downstairs. Shooting up from her bed, the orange mare perked her ears at the loud sounds coming from the downstairs. Trotting over to a hat rack, she got on her hat and then put her hair into its normal ponytail. Walking to the doorway of her room, she took one quick look back at a photo of a mare and a stallion standing with a little orange filly on the mare’s back, her leg up in the air looking like she was riding, “ Mornin, maw and paw,” she then smiled and turned to walk out the door. As she walked down the stairs, she could hear the loud noises increase as she got nearer to the kitchen. “This is freaking impossible,” said the green pegasus as she tried in vain to stir the batter in the bowl, a little yellow filly watching on in amazement, “Just how on earth are you supposed to make anything with these hooves?” The little yellow filly continued to watch on in amazement, “ That’s because you’re doing it wrong,” Applebloom said as she got on a stool next to Makoto, “ You’re supposed to use your mouth. Like this,” she then grabbed the ladle with her mouth and begin to slowly stir the bowl. “Wouldn’t that hurt your teeth?” Thought Makoto as Applejack walked into the room. “Mako, you’re mah guest. You don't need to making breakfast for us,” Applejack said as she sat down at the table. “Oh, I know,” Mako said, putting her mouth to the ladle and stirring it, “but I have been making my own breakfast for a while now and I wanted to thank you guys for letting me stay here,” She said before going back to stirring the bowl, then trying to pour the batter. Applebloom immediately came to the rescue and helped Makoto pour it onto the grill and letting the pancakes fry. “Y’know, maybe you might have a little easier time if you used your wings,” Applejack said as the pancakes cooked. Makoto’s eyes shot up in shock and fear as she turned her head over her shoulder and looked at the feathered appendage, “MY wings,” a nervous chuckle escaped her mouth. “Yeah, thats what Fluttershy sometimes does when she makes me breakfast,” Applebloom said as she helped to serve the pancakes. “Of course... ,” Makoto said as she sat down to eat with her new companions. An hour later, Applejack was out in the field bucking some nearby apple trees. As she watched the apples fall into their individual buckets, she began to hear some grunts and fight sounds coming from a few yards away. Adjusting her hat, she walked over to where the noise was coming from. Getting a little closer, she watched as Applebloom leapt at and kicked Makoto’s outstretched hoof, “Very good, you’re getting better.” “Thanks,” Applebloom said, panting a little before wiping her brow with her yellow hoof, “Ya know, Rainbow gave me a few lessons before but Ah kind of lost interest for while. Ah never thought it could be this enjoyable. It’s almost as fun as buckin.” “Hey, if you can help me with cooking, I’ll help you more with martial arts,” Makoto said as she began to get a drink. Apple Bloom's eyes shot up in happiness, “Do you think I could get a baking fighting cutie mark? Or how about a cutie mark thats a fighting chef like on them cooking competitions hat Big Mac sometimes takes me to?” “A cutie...mark,” Makoto asked, looking to her side at her flank, while lifting up the wing as fast as she could. “Yeah, its something that appears on your flank when you find your special ability and your best talent,” the young yellow filly walked to the side of Makoto, “Like that weird backwards four thang that you got. What’s that supposed to mean anyway?” “Uh, it means,” Makoto stammered for a bit, not really sure if she should tell Applebloom that she was a superhero in her spare time. “Apple Bloom, don't you have something important to do,” Applejack said walking  next to the green pegasus, “Like meeting up with your friends?” “Oh my gosh! You’re right,” Applebloom said as she turned to run, “We got a letter from Babs this morning and we all agreed to read it together! Gotogonowbye!” Applejack chuckled as the little filly ran off into the distance with a dust cloud trailing behind her, “She’s a great little filly, though hard-headed at times.” “I can see that,” Makoto sighed, “Kind of wish I had one,” she said as she looked down a little, remembering someone important. “Hey, want to walk around the field and help me buck some trees. You can consider it paying your rent,” The blonde mare said, nudging her head towards the orchard. “Sure,” Makoto said, loving the idea of being around so many trees. Throughout most the morning, the two ponies began to buck the trees throughout the orchard. Until they had started to kick near an old tree. their kicks had shaken  it just enough to cause it to fall over, “ Makoto, look out!” Applejack yelled. Makoto looked up to watch as the tree began to fall towards her. Without thinking, she leapt up high into the sky out of the way of the fallen tree, wings flapping in the breeze. Looking at her outstretched wings, she let out a shriek of fear and landed back down on the ground, “I’m not in the air, I’m not in the air, I’m safe I’m safe,” Makoto chanted as she wrapped her hooves around herself, keeping her wings tucked in tight. “Sugarcube, whoa there, its going to be ok. You got out of the way, you can calm down now,” Applejack said as she patted the shoulder of the green pegasus. Trembling, she looked up at the orange mare, taking a deep breath to relax herself before getting up, “Y...yeah, I got out of the way. I’m safe now, right.” “You ok?” Turning away from Applejack, she sighed, “I’m sorry, its a fear I have,” running a green hoof through her brown hair, “Ever since I was a little filly, I had this fear of flying. My mom and dad...they died during a flight, and I had to watch.” Applejack eyes closed and the opened again as she nodded in understanding, “So thats why you were acting so funny around Rainbow earlier. She thought that you had something against her,” Applejack held her friend a little closer, “IT all right. Ah know something about losing parents myself. Maw died protection Applebloom when she was a baby and Paw died a few months before her.”  In silence Applejack hugged her friend close, sitting there for a few moments, “ Now come on, lets work through that little incident with a bit of ol fashion work!” Nodding, Makoto got back up and began to help her friend in her chores. A few days later, saw Makoto making the apples a huge selection of food with ease. And it was with this, that Makoto, slowly found her own place in the world. The Canterlot music hall was abuzz with lively music coming from within. Two musicians were on the stage tuning up their instruments with a practice place session, one a light green mare with a lyre cutie mark and the other a sea green mare with a trident cutie mark. The two were playing their best with a song that the sea green mare had made, “Great arent they,” asked a white mare with a candy cutie mark. “Yeah, they are,” A yellow pegasus said as she watched the show, drinking a soda. On her flank was a cutie mark of a trident with the middle prong taken out. “What's that song,” Asked the white earth pony. “Searching for Friends,” Said the pegasus, a sorrowful tone in her voice. > Archery! a bond formed in the noonday sun > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Archery! A Bond Formed in the Noonday Sun         The sun’s rays shone through the window of a small dress shop as a slender and lovely unicorn with a purple mane walked up to her mirror and began to get herself ready for the morning. As she began to comb her mane, she listened to the sounds that were coming from the downstairs of her boutique and to the sounds of the two ponies working below. A smile came to her lips as she began to think about her new tenant that had come to live with her a few days ago. Ever since the mare came, Rei has had been nothing but helpful to Rarity. She would help with the clothes, cooking, and even cleaning up the place. Rarity let out a sigh as she placed her brush down and stepped away from the mirror when she heard a high pitched voice also coming from below. Her little sister had also came to visit for the next few weeks, “Really mother and father, how many times are you going on a ‘vacation’ and leave my sweet sister behind,” she thought to herself as she walked down the stairs. It wasn’t that she minded having her sister over to stay, but it usually meant that something in her house was going to be either burnt or destroyed. “OW,” squeaked a little filly as she pricked herself with a needle. “This is why you need to be more careful with sewing, Sweetie Belle,” said a black maned mare as Rarity made her way downstairs, “it takes time and a little control to push the needle through. It should be like this,” the mare then used her mouth to move the needle through some holes to help tighten the seam, “See?” “BUUUUUUT REI! You and Rarity make this look so easy,” Sweetie said, her light purple and pink mane hanging limply on her head. “That’s because I had years of practice,” Rarity said as she walked into the workroom to see Rei and her sister sitting next to a small orange dress that had a few apple patches on the side. “Rarity, did you see how Rei was able to help me with the dress? I was even able to sow a little bit of it myself,” Sweetie Belle said happily as she nuzzled against her big sister’s chest. “So, working hard and you can sew,” Rarity chuckled as she looked to Rei, “Is there no end to your talents?” Rei smiled softly as she got up, her long hair swaying as she walked, “I just want to try to help out around here as much as I can. I am not going to just lay around here while I am staying.” “Oh, I completely understand,” Rarity said as her little sister moved away from her and towards the door, a smile on the little filly’s face. Sweetie Belle  turned her head over to the two mares behind her and asked, “Oh and Rei, are you still going to practice singing with me later?” “Sure,” Rei said, waving bye to the small filly as she left. “Oh, and singing!” Rarity said as she walked to a closet nearby. Rei looked to the door and then backed to Rarity,” I like to try and supplant my priestess training with some other activities. It kind of helps to keep my mind focused,” the red unicorn said as she watched Rarity get to items from her closet, “So, what type of dress are you working on this time?” “Oh, I am taking the day off for right now and was thinking of spending some quiet time,” Rarity said as she turned around, “Tell me darling, what do you think of, archery,” she asked as she held two bows and a quiver in her magic. A big wide smile appeared on the unicorn’s face in answer. ------------------ “So, If Sweetie Belle is your sister,” Rei asked as she watched Rarity use her magic to pull the drawstring of her bow taut and aim the arrow at a distant tree, “where are your parents?” “Oh, on one of their many,” Rarity focused squinted her eyes to focus on the target as she let her arrow fly with a thwip, “‘vacations’, or as I like to call them, ‘lets dodge our responsibility as parents and leave Sweetie Belle with her sister for a few months!” As Rarity took her seat on a picnic blanket, Rei got onto her hooves and took her position to fire her arrow, “I know the feeling, I’ve some ‘issues’ with my father,” with a bit of anger in her voice, she pulled back her arrow and let it fly through the air, hitting Rarity’s arrow and splitting it in in half. Rarity arched an eyebrow, impressed at the perfect hit that Rei had made. Putting down her tea, she got up and took her spot, “Rei, I am surprised at you. Ladies such as ourselves do not have issues. I do, however, have complaints about my mother and father. Such as, why do they think it is ok for them to leave one of the sweetest fillies in the world alone with her very VERY busy sister,” she said as she let out two arrows at once on her bow.         Rei watched as the two arrows fly through the air, striking their target with amazing accuracy, “At least you know they care for you,” she said as she put an arrow in her bow, pulled back the drawstring, and let loose the arrow, “my dad could care less about me,” Rei said as she notched up another arrow and quickly let that one fly after the one she had just launched. In the air, the two arrows quickly caught up with each other and landed in succession just below Rarity’s arrows. “Surely, you can’t mean that,” Rarity said as she loaded up another arrow to shoot, “I bet he is just really busy.” “Too busy to come my mother’s funeral or to watch over her while she was ill with a disease that I couldn’t even pronounce,” Rei said, her tone not changing as she fired the arrows, but a tinge of venom was there. “I see your point,” Rarity conceded as she took aim with three arrows, trying to one-up her friend. “I haven’t seen him in so long, and personally I am glad for it,” Rei finished as she watched her friend take her shot, “if things had been a little different... I don't think I would be as close to my friends as I am now,” Rei said as she got up to fire her shot. “Yes, your... friends,” Rarity said as she sat down and drank her tea slowly, “If you don't mind my saying so, you seem the most out of place amongst them. Compared to the wild Minako, the brash Makoto, shy Ami, and Pinkie’s long lost sister, you seem to be the more refined of them.” “You should see my other friends,” Rei thought to herself as she sat down with the white unicorn and began to drink her own cup, “I can say the same about you, from what I have seen you have some,” the red unicorn thought to herself for the right word, “unique friends.”         Rarity chuckled at that remark, thinking about the weirdness that some of them get into, “ Yes, I guess you can say that. You just seem so much more lady-like than them, it just seems unusual to be there.”         “I guess it’s just that, they are unique. They are probably the only girls my age who aren't continually impressed by how ‘gorgeous’ I look, and aren't always thinking that I am some sort of raven-haired goddess that is meant to be perfect all of the time,” Rei had a smile as she lowered her cup, “They just expect me to be... me and I can never thank them enough for that. Rarity smiled in understanding as she drank her tea with Rei as the sun slowly began to sit in the horizon. In the streets of Canterlot, there walked a little small purple filly with a black mane and tail. On her flank was a cutie mark in the shape of an h with a little curl; this little filly was walking all alone within the marble city, being ignored by some of the unicorns, “Momma? Poppa? Where are you,” the little filly cried out as she walked. Not seeing where she was going, she bumped into a pair of white legs. “Excuse me, little filly,” The white stallion with an electric blue mane said as he looked down at her, “But what do you think you are doing here walking all by yourself?” The little filly looked down and spoke in a soft voice, “I don't know. I just woke up to find myself here without my mom and dad. I have been trying to find them for a while now, but they don't seem to be here.” The white stallion sighed with a smile as he listened to the filly’s story, “She reminds me of one of my sister’s friends,” the unicorn then looked down at the little filly, “Look my wife, who’s a princess, is making some supper in our room at the castle. Want to stay there until we find your parents?” The filly let out an energetic nod as the white unicorn picked her up and put her onto his back, “Whoa! This is new, I never rode on a horse’s back before,” the filly said as she looked at the mark on his flank, “A shield? Are you a guard and is your wife really a princess?” “Sometimes I’m a guard, but what I really enjoy doing is protecting little fillies like you,” Shining Armor said with smile as he ran to the castle, “ and, well we don’t have a kingdom yet, but she is a princess by blood. By the way, what’s your name kid?” “Hotaru Tomoe.” “They’re here, the guardians of the moon,” A shadow said, its faint voice barely above a whisper as it tried to form, “ They are gaining allies and are becoming more powerful while I am still stuck as a piece of SMOKE! I need energy, I need a body, I need,” the creatures eyes looked up and saw a small bird, “allies.” With a small chuckle, the cloud reached for the small bird, wrapping its smoky tendrils around it. > Acrobatics! The dreams of future idols > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Acrobatics! The Dreams of Future Idols.         It was at about 10:00 when the young rainbow maned pegasus began to stir, trying her best to avoid looking at the intruding sunlight. Laying next to her, in a futon, was a blonde pegasus with a red bow and she was equally trying to avoid the intruding sun and get back to her blissful sleep, “Shouldn’t you be getting up and heading to work, Rainbow?” The blonde pegasus asked as she squirmed in her bed. “Naw,” Dash said, sleepily, “ It’s supposed to be just a cloudy day today, which means I don’t have to do anything at all for the rest of the day.” She then gave out a big yawn and turned her head away from the sunlight, “Besides, the sun is still shining right?” “Yep,” Said Minako. “Flying is still awesome?” “Yep!” “We have the best friends on the planet?” “Most definitely.” “Then I think the safety and peace of Equestria can do without us, until...noon.” And with that, the two pegasi went back to sleep. At around noon, the two pegasi finally woke up and went down the stairs of the cloud home for some breakfast. Minako had to admit, she was impressed by all of the things that the pegasi could do with the clouds and what type of shapes they could make. Leaning over to one side, she touched the white wall of the house and chuckled as she felt the cold wetness of the cloud. It had been about a week since she started to live in this pegasus’ home and she could still find something cool about the experience. Adjusting her red bow on top of her mane, she quickly joined Rainbow Dash in eating breakfast before they both went out the door. As they stood in front of the doorway, they looked as all of Equestria was laid out before them. Turning her head to look at Rainbow Dash, she watched as the cyan mare took a deep breath and then exhaled before taking a stretch, “So,” Minako said, smirking, “Race ya?” “You’re on!” Dash said, getting into a ready pose. Minako followed soon after, looking at her friend with a look that said she was planning on winning. Dash smirking in response as she said, “Ready? GO!!” and like two bullets being fired from a gun, the two were off. As Rainbow flew at a good pace, she could feel the wind moving through her hair and ruffling it up into a streamline motion. Angling her wings to allow for a faster airflow and to enhance her speed, she took the time to turn her head back to look at her opponent.  She opened her eyes in shock as she watched the yellow pegasus leap from cloud to cloud, using each one to help her catch up to the rainbow. Moving acrobatically and swiftly, the other pegasus began to dance and move through the air as if she had been doing this for all of her life instead of a week. Turning her head to focus on the race and moving through each cloud, she felt something latch onto her multi-colored tail. Grunting, she turned around to see Minako holding onto her tail with both hooves, a grin on her yellow face. Still smirking with confidence, the young blonde pulled onto the tail to push herself up and over the cyan pegasus and put her ahead of her opponent. Turning her head over her shoulder, she gave a little wink of victory before taking off ahead Rainbow Dash. Shaking her head to ward off the shock, the cyan pegasus looked down at the forest below and smiled as she went down below the treeline, zipping past each tree as she left behind a rainbow contrail behind her to show which showed which path she took. Above the trees, Minako stopped to look behind her as she noted that her foe had left the airways. Looking back and left and right, she put an yellow hoof behind her head, trying to figure out where she had gone. She got her answer in the form of a blown rasberry as Rainbow Dash broke through the treeline and took off into the lead once again. “Cheeky little mare. But I can be cheekier,” Minako said as she took off towards Rainbow’s slowly fading contrail. Flapping her wings in order to push herself to get more speed and to catch up with her quarry. In a few moments of pushing her body, she managed to get within sight of the rainbow maned pegasus. As she soon caught up to be neck and neck with her friend, she gave Dash a light tap on the shoulder and smirked at her. Dash let out a grin in response as they neared the end of their race. The obstacle course within view, the two pegasi gave it their all as they flew faster and faster before hitting the soft cloud before them. Down below, a soft and quiet, “Yay,” could be heard from a buttery yellow pegasus. Panting, Dash wiped some sweat from her brow, “ Ok, Flutters. You saw the end,” Dash then looked over to her friend as she was catching her breath, “ Which one of us won?” “Well, I think actually,” the pink maned pegasus hid behind her mane as she said, “that it was a tie.” “A TIE? Are you sure,” Minako asked as she looked over the cloud and down at the pegasus. As Fluttershy nodded in response, Dash turned and fell flat onto her back, “Awwww, I can’t believe it. I knew I shouldn’t have taken that little shortcut. Slowed me down.” “Well it’s ok, we all knew I was winning in the end,” Minako said with a smirk as she sat on her haunches. Dash could only roll her eyes as she cracked her neck side to side before looking up at her personal obstacle course and taking off into the air. Minako sat and watched from her position on the cloud, admiring the loops and spins that Dash put in her movements through the clouds and the rings that had been made. She couldn’t help but cheer along with Fluttershy when Dash pulled off a hard whirlwind spin through a few leftover rings. Turning back to the start, Rainbow slowly flew back down and landed next to her friend, “Wow,” Minako said as she looked back at the cyan pegasus, “Those were amazing! Can I try?” “Sure,” Dash said, giving herself time to cool down and for her body to relax. As she watched the pegasus get ready for a run, she felt a hoof on her shoulder. Turning, she saw Fluttershy handing her a water bottle and a towel before flying back down onto the ground. Dash leaned back onto her fore hooves and watched in amazement at the skills of the blonde pegasus. Granted, she was not as good as her and her skills could use a little touch up, but she was doing good for a pony who had never hit the track before. Watching her land before her, Dash handed Minako the bottle, “Wow, that was pretty good up there. Did you train for that type of stuff back home?” “Well, no actually,” Minako said as she took a drink from her bottle, “It’s just that ever since I was a kid I had a love for gymnastics, being athletic, and of course volleyball. But what I really want to be is a idol,” to emphasise her point, she got up and began to dance a bit, “the idea of being up there on a stage in front of everyone and singing for them while their eyes are all on me, is just exciting for me. Some can probably call it selfish or egotistical, but its more than that for me. I just love getting everybody excited, making them happy to be alive and help to forget their troubles for just a few moments.” She said as she flew up into the air for a few moments and then landing back down with Dash. “Totally understand,” Dash said as she turned to look down at the ground to see Fluttershy joined by an orange little pegasus with a purple mane, “It’s why I want to become a Wonderbolt. Well, that and something else.” “What,” Minako asked, looking at her cyan friend. “Its because of something special somepony did for me, a long time ago. You might not know it, but I used to be a small and scrawny little filly,” Dash said with a chuckle, “I couldn’t fly right and I was always picked on. Then, my dad introduced me to his best flier, Firefly. She taught me everything I know about flying, how to be awesome, fast, and skilled. She was the most awesome... big sister ever.” “Was?” “She died, a few years ago,” She looked down at the white cloud and sighed, “ There was a big lightning storm and she helped to stop it, but she died in the process. I figured that the best way to honor her memory was to be the best flyer ever, to make it so the lights that showed my name would be so bright that heaven itself can see it. Then she could look at how far I gotten and say, ‘you did good kid.’ And if I can inspire others to be awesome like she did to me, then that’s just icing on the cake.” “Looks like you already did,” Minako said, looking at the orange pegasus as she was talking excitedly to Fluttershy, “Your little sister?” Rainbow Dash sighed a little, saddened at the thought that she wasn’t, “ No, she isn’t my little sister. Just a little fan, but we have been acting like sisters for a few months now. Even longer for me.  She’s a great little filly and the best sister a girl could ask for,” Dash smiled softly as she looked down at the little filly who looked back up happily. “Ahhh, enough of this mushy stuff. Did you say you enjoyed volleyball? Hey, Scoots, Flutters, up for a game?” To this, the two ponies down below nodded happily. And so it was, in the bright summer sun, did Minako Aino find a fellow friend who shared the dream of reaching the stars and becoming an idol. In a small coffee shop on the streets of Canterlot, a dark green unicorn sat at a small table listening to a light grey earth pony with a black mane, “I swear, sometimes its hard to live with her. Like last night, I was trying to read a novel, ‘The Immortal Game’, to myself when suddenly Vinyl starts blasting that infernal techno music at high volume right next to my bedroom. I, of course, tried to get her to cut the music down but she didn’t listen,” the Earth pony said as she drank her coffee gingerly while some music began to play on the radio, “But I am sorry talking to you about my problems, ms... what was your name again?” “Setsuna Meioh,” said the unicorn as she drank slowly, her cutie mark looking like a stylized P, “ And I don't mind listening to someone else talk about their problems. It helps take my mind off mine for a bit.” “Your, problems?” Octavia asked, looking at her. “MY family’s missing, I know that they are in this city because I can feel them,” the green mare looked down in her coffee, a sad lonely look in her red eyes, “I just don’t know where.” Octavia reached over with a reassuring hoof and patted her friend’s leg, “You’ll find them soon. Hey, do you know this music, I have never heard this composition before.” Setsuna smiled a little as the music played, “Yes, I have... its called, ‘searching for friends’.” A smile came to her as she remembered the tune, one that was composed by a Michiru Kaioh, a dear friend. > Study Hall! A discussion of myths in the twilight > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Study Hall!? Talks of Myths Under the Setting Sun.          A relatively sombre silence settled within the old library, save for the flipping of pages of books that would periodically spring up from two very studious ponies. As Twilight began to read further in her, “Multidimensional Theorem and Other Anomalies by Passing-Through Rider”  book, she would look up at times at the blue earth pony in front of her. She had to admit, there was something to admire about her, the way that she could go for just as long as she could in studying multiple books at a time. Smiling, she turned her head back to the book and began to read more. Across from her, the blue earth pony would continue to read her book, “Myths of Equestria”, having already read up on the culture, races, lifestyle, the magic, the music, and at least three other subjects about Equestria. From time to time she would also look up from her book to look at the statuesque Twilight. She had to chuckle softly to herself at their similarities, noting that it seemed like neither one of them had left the library since her and her friends arrival in this world. She admired the unicorn’s ability to lose herself within a book at any given moment, almost as bad as she could. Turning back to her book, she almost turned the page with her hoof instead of her snoot. Realizing her mistake, she put down her hoof and instead flipped the page with her snoot. As she read the next entry in the book, the title caught her eye, “The Tale of Nightmare Moon.” Her eyebrow arched in intrigue about such myths and began to read intently. A little phoenix chick fluttered and landed next to a purple dragon as he began to chew on a quartz crystal. The little hatchling looked up to the dragon and chirped a few times as he hopped. The dragon looked down at the little bird and leaned down to whisper, “Don’t worry, Peewee, they haven’t been struck by a cockatrice. They are just very, very, motionless... although, I am having a problem remembering if they are statues or not,” Spike said as he continued to munch. The little bird then let out a few more chirps, as if he was asking a question. “Oh no, there is no way to break them out of this. Watch,” Spike stood up and slowly pushed a book off a shelf. Almost instantly, Twilight grabbed the book with her magic and put it back in its spot without looking, “See, nothing I can do will break them out of  this. They are doomed to become ‘Book Statues’, to be used by future pony generations as museum exhibits.” “Funny, Spike,” Twilight said as she continued to read. “But,” Spike leaned in to whisper in the ear of the little bird, “I know how they are going to be saved from such a bad thing. Watch.” Just above the heads of the two readers, were two ponies. One, a pink earth pony with a poofy mane, and the other a white unicorn with a most unusual hairstyle. From above on their little perches they viewed their targets with  sinister grins. Pulling out a couple of slips of paper, they subtly dropped the paper onto the open books. Twilight looked at the dropped paper and began to read, “‘The outside misses you, Twily. As revenge for  making the outside sad, you will be visited by the pillow beasts,’” Twilight arched an eyebrow as she looked over to Ami, who read a similar note. “Pillow beasts? I don’t remember reading that in a bestiary,” Ami said as she put the letter down. Twilight’s eyes opened in utter horror,” MOVE!” but it was too late for them as they were bombarded by a horde of pillows. “There will be more incoming until you two get out,” Usagi said, pillow trapped by her magic. “I’ll have a cupcake waiting for you, if you do,” Pinkie said with a smile while the grandmother of all pillows was above her head for another strike. “Ok, ok I get the message!” Twilight said as she moved the pillows away with her magic. Ami got up from her position, chuckling softly as she walked with Twilight to the door, “Is your friend always this... impulsive?” “Only when she and the others think I have been stuck here too long and get worried about me,” Twilight said, walking out the door. Ami nodded, knowing all too well the feeling of her friends reminding her that she needs to go out and live a life once in awhile. She sighed and smiled at those memories, they always did seem to bring out the best in her. Walking out of the library the two began to head towards a small hill with a tree at the center that laid just ahead of Twilight’s home. As they walked, Ami began to take in the sights and sounds of the bustling small town, each pony doing their day to day tasks or beginning to close up with the leaving of Celestia’s sun and the coming of Luna’s moon. The blue maned pony took a deep breath of the town air and allowed it to fill her body, the peacefulness of the town seemed to calm not only her, but her friends as well. This made their appearance in this town all the weirder as it didn’t seem to have any real need of them, or a need to be protected beyond a small disturbance once in awhile. The earth pony took a look towards a small river under a bridge that she and Twilight crossed and noted that even that seemed to be calm and serene. Overall, it just felt unusual to her to be there. Within a few minutes the two ponies reached the hill with a tree and sat under the shade as the sun began to set. Watching the sun set, Twilight looked over to her new friend. It hadn’t been that long since the blue mare had begun to live with her, but she had already began to note some interesting similarities between them beyond just books, “You know Ami,” Twilight said, “ you seem the most out of place in your little group of friends.” Ami looked at Twilight, lower her head a little in shyness, “I... do?” “Well, just a little. I mean, Minako is brash and athletic, Usagi is like a blonde Pinkie, Rei is calm and relaxed, and Makoto is a brawler. You don’t seem like you fit in with mares like that,” Twilight said. Ami began to think about her small circle of friends and how unique they were and then gave out a little sigh, “I guess you’re right, I am a little from all nine of them.” “Nine? You mean there’s four more out there?” Twilight asked. “Well, I can’t be entirely sure if they followed us here, but yes there are four more of us. Haruka Tenoh, Michiru Kaioh, Setsuna Meioh, and Hotaru Tomoe. They are all senshi like me and the others,” Ami said, thinking fondly of the other 4 members of her team, wishing that they would be here as well. “I suppose it would make sense, 9 planet named girls for 9 planets,” Twilight thought to herself as she looked at Ami, “Interesting, you just don't seem to be the kind of mare to be involved in a group of fighters like that. You look more like you would be better as a doctor or a nurse than a fighter.” “Well, you are correct. I always wanted to become a doctor and I still do. It’s just that,” Ami began to think about the first time that she met the bun haired senshi, how they spent so many hours together just walking around the town and being friends, “After I had met Usagi and became her friend, she and the others... ” a soft smile came to her lips, “helped me come out of my shell, so to speak. They helped me to see and do things that I would never have done if I didn’t have them. They were my first true friends and I will never be able to thank them enough for that. You probably feel the same with your friends, even if they so different from you.” Twilight looked to the horizon as the sun began to drift away, letting the blank moon arise. A sigh escaped from her lips as she began to think back to that day so long ago when she first came to the small town, “You’re right, I do. Ever since I met those girls, it’s been one fun day after the other and I love them for giving me so much to explore. I think back to when I was such a recluse back before I came here and what I would have missed if it wasn’t for them, don't get me wrong Ami. I still love to study magic in all of it’s forms, see the mysteries of the world, and everything in between, but I also realize that if I had never came here and met them, I would have missed out on being alive. For that, I will always be grateful.” Ami smiled at Twilight, enjoying the fact that they  could get along so well together. Her mind then began to think about the book that she was reading before, “Twilight, you told me that you met your friends when you came to Ponyville to stop something called, ‘Nightmare Moon.’ What can you tell me about her.” “She was the monstrous evil version of Princess Luna. All of her rage, jealousy, hatred, and want turned into one dark persona,” the purple unicorn let out a small shudder as she could remember looking into the leering dragon-like eyes of the corrupted moon princess, “Why do you ask?” “Because before the girls told us to leave, I was reading up on the myths and legends of the world and I found that to be the most interesting.” “Why?” Twilight asked. “Because it reminds me of something that happened to me and my friends a few weeks ago,” Ami said, remembering the circus, “There was this dark queen called Nehelenia that hailed from a dark moon and wanted to destroy the planet. She was going to do this, much like your Nightmare Moon, by subjugating the entire planet into eternal darkness and make us suffer through horrible nightmares. It was only by working together that we actually could win and destroy her.” “Destroy?” Twilight said, thinking to back when Usagi took out the drake. She was never one to take a life, even a monster, But I can’t really accuse her and her friends of anything until I know everything that happened to them. “You couldn’t have found another way?” Ami shook her head, “It usually isn’t that simple, especially when it comes to creatures like her. I wish it was different though.” Twilight looked at how Ami lowered her head in shame, and reached over a comforting hoof, “Hey, it’s ok. Sometimes we have to be pushed to those extremes... even if we have no choice,” the purple unicorn smiled as she rubbed Ami’s back. In a way, she had begun to understand her and her friends more. The blue earth slowly nodded and looked back at Twilight, “You know, I am still glad we are here. It does seem like a nice place to get away from all of the tough battles we fought in the past.” Ami then sighed and looked out at the horizon as the moon began to rise, “Though this place’s calmness does make me wonder why we were sent here in the first place. There doesn’t seem to be any real threat to this world that would need us. Why are we here.” “Yeah, this world is sort of peaceful and I hope that you enjoy being here for however long you have,” Twilight said, watching the world go by with her friend. So it was, that Ami Mizuno found a companion to study the world’s greater mysteries with. > Smile! Welcome to Usagi's and Pinkie's day > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- SMILES! Welcome to the Fun of Pinkie’s and Usagi’s Day!         The bright sun of the morning light shown through the windows of the gingerbread shaped house and onto the sleeping form of one Usagi Tsukino. She smiled widely as she slept, allowing to softly twist and turn in the bed as she let the sun keep her warm. As she laid with her legs sprawled across the bed, she began to feel a pair of hooves play with her long mane, “Oh, Mamo-chan, you know how I love it when you play with my hair,” Usagi said, as the filly next to her began to put her mouth onto her white hoof, “Stop that, it tickles, and it feels cold.”         “There you two are!” Pinkie Pie said, looking at the two little fillies on the bed, a little pegasus playing with the long blonde hair while an unicorn was gumming the hoof. “Huh, what,” Usagi asked as she opened her eyes and looked straight into the bright blue eyes of a small unicorn filly with an orange tuft of hair, “Hello!” The little orange-maned filly released Usagi’s hoof and turned around to look at the mare walking in, a big smile on her  face as she saw her sister walk in, “Pinkie!” The small page pegasus who was playing with Usagi’s unusual hair turned to where his twin was looking, “Sissie!” He called out as he began to walk quickly towards the bouncy pink mare. Usagi, once done wiping the spit from her hoof, looked to the little foals as Pinkie began to pick each one up with her tail, “Aw, they’re adorable. Are they you’re sisters?” “Oh, no,” Pinkie said, looking at the two fillies on her back with a smile, “ I just help take care of them. Though,” with a smile she turned her head and nuzzled the two foals, “they do remind me of my little sisters back home.” Usagi smiled a little as she got off of the bed and followed her pinky friend to the stairs, unable to not think of her little brother back home. Quietly, she hoped that he was ok while she was on this little ‘summer vacation’. This was what her and her friend’s adventure in this world has slowly started to become, a summer vacation. Despite being here for a week and two days, the girls have yet to encounter any monsters or threats to this world. It just felt like a peaceful place to relax with the friends that she had come to love over time. For that, she couldn’t be happier. There was a noted added spring in her step as she made her way down the stairs and to where Pinkie was walking to the ovens. Sneaking over to the counter, the white unicorn reached into the case and pulled out a muffin and quickly ate one, “You know,” Pinkie said as she looked straight into Usagi’s blue eyes, “You’re going to have to pay for that.” “Homf (How?),” Usagi asked through a mouthful of muffin. “Simple,” Pinkie said with a sly smile, “YOU are going to help me bake some more before the Cakes wake up. Come on!” With that, the pink party pony put a baking hat on top of Usagi’s head. At the mention of the words baking and cooking, the young senshi’s eyes shot up in  and began to shake her hooves nervously, “M-m-me, bake and cook? I...no, bad idea!” “Oh come on, it’ll be fun,” Pinkie said with a smile as she dragged Usagi in. _____________________________         “Uhhh, Pinkie,” an orange earth pony began as he looked over the mess in the kitchen, trying his best not to faint alongside his wife, “maybe you and Usagi should head off and do something a little less... messy.”         “So much batter,” said the blue earth pony on the ground woozily.         “Right,” Pinkie said, grabbing onto her friend’s foreleg and pulling her away, “We’ll be back later. Bye Mr and Mrs cake.”         “I am so, so, so sorry,” Usagi said bowing her head repeatedly as she was dragged away.         Once they were outside of the building, Pinkie Pie took in a deep breath to get in all of the air of the small town. Turning to her friend, she happily placed her hoof onto the shoulder, “Well, for your first try at making a giant batter monster, I give you a grade of A!”         Usagi chuckled a little at the compliment before looking at the pink maned pony, “Well, I was trying to make some muffins but I just couldn’t work out the little lines on the measuring cup! It’s always so confusing to change from quarters to pints.”         “I know, it took me at least three burnt ovens to get it right,” Pinkie said emphatically, lowering her head. Then, her head raised up in excitement, “Well, no time to mull about it now. The day is bright, its early, and I have a bunch of friends to see. Come lets go!”         “Right, never focus on the mistakes but  focus on the successes! That’s the way,” Usagi said with a bright cheery smile as she ran after Pinkie.         As Pinkie ran with Usagi out into the middle of the town, she turned and smiled, feeling the urge to sing I've got a smile on my face, I've got four walls around me I've got the sun in the sky, all the water surround me Usagi (Smiles back at Pinkie Pie, then looks towards the library where Twilight and waves them over before taking the next verse) Oh you know, I've been down and sometimes I'll lose I've been battered, but I'll never bruise... it's not so bad         Turning their heads to the two ponies, Twilight and Ami walked over to their two friends. A smile came across Ami’s face as she began to discuss at length about a few traits of unicorns that she found out about. Twilight then nudged her head over to Ami to point out that the two mares had fallen asleep during the conversation. Ami’s eyes open wide in shock before putting her hoof to her mouth to hide her giggling. Twilight then noticed Rainbow Dash and Minako flying up above their heads on top of a raincloud. The two pegasis smirked as they hit the raincloud at the same time to make it rain on the two ponies beneath. This deluge of water woke Pinkie and Usagi up. Looking up, Pinkie Pie smiled happily waved to Dash before taking Usag off into the rest of the town.         As the two ponies began to run across the town and talk to various other ponies, the girls began to sing together. Pinkie Pie and Usagi And I say way-hey-hey, it's just an ordinary day and it's all your state of mind At the end of the day, you've just got to say... it's all right. Usagi (Walks over to where Makoto lays against a tree, and smiles softly to herself.) Makoto once sat on the corner, what kept her from dying Let them say what they want, but she won't stop trying Pinkie (Sees Makoto, and smiles a big grin to Usagi as she walks towards the slumbering pegasus) Oh you know, She might stumble, they push her 'round She might fall, but she'll never lie down...it's not so bad         Giggling, Pinkie took out a marker and drew a little mustache on the snoot of the green pegasus. Usagi giggled a little as Makoto woke up and looked to the two ponies with an arched eyebrow. Curious, she walked over to a mirror and saw the damage that Pinkie did. Growling, Makoto leapt and charged at Pinkie, ready to kill her. Usagi, seeing her friend in dager, grabbed Pinkie and ran off with her pink friend in her magic. Pinkie Pie and Usagi And I say way-hey-hey, it's just an ordinary day and it's all your state of mind At the end of the day, you've just got to say... it's all right. Usagi ( runs and stops suddenly as she looks ahead and sees stallion and a mare walking to a jewelery store together. Letting Pinkie Pie go, she let loose a sigh and looked down to the ground.) Cuz in this beautiful life there's always some sorrow It's a double-edged knife, but there's always tomorrow Pinkie (Slowly gets up, looks at Usagi and notices how sad she is.As she reaches out a comforting hoof, she feels Makoto’s hoof onto her shoulder and turns to look at her. Nodding her head, she points to the sad Usagi) Oh you know, It's up to you now if you sink or swim, Just keep the faith and your ship will come in?.it's not so bad         Rei and Rarity walk to where Pinkie Pie and Makoto stand, curious as to why Usagi is standing in the road looking down. Pinkie Pie explains and Rei nods in acknowledgement and walks over to her friend and gives her a tight hug. Pinkie Pie smiles and also hugs Usagi while giving her a cupcake to eat. Smiling, Usagi gratefully takes the cupcake and walks away, inviting Pinkie to continue to join her in their walk. Pinkie Pie and Usagi And I say way-hey-hey, it's just an ordinary day and it's all your state of mind At the end of the day, you've just got to say... it's all right. And I say way-hey-hey, it's just an ordinary day and it's all your state of mind At the end of the day, you've just got to say... it's alright, it's alright Usagi (Sits on top of the Corner with Pinkie as the two looks up at the stars.) I've got a smile on my face, I've got four walls around me         “That was a blast!” Usagi exclaimed as she stretched her hooves up and laid back onto the roof of the building.         “I know it,” Pinkie Pie giggled as she ate a fruit pie that she brought with her, “I’m so glad you love being here.”         “Are you kidding? It’s been great here,” the white unicorn said, taking a bite out of her own moon pie, “ No school and best of all... no really big monsters that require my friends to risk their lives fighting. It just all so peaceful, I love it,” Usagi then looked looked down from the roof to the mare and stallion from before, one on his knees with a ring on his hoof while a little pink filly runs around the two happily. A sad smile crossed the mare’s lips as she let out a sorrowful sigh.         “Thinking about somepony special?” Pinkie Pie asked.         “ How did you guess?” Usagi asked.         “Because you have that look that says, ‘I love being here, but I wish my special somepony was here to enjoy it with me because I just saw a clone of me, him, and our daughter from the future being together’,” Pinkie said, “So who is he? Or she? or it? or animal? or cake? Oh, do you date cakes in Neighpon?”         Usagi let out a giggle at Pinkie’s questions, “HIS name is Mamoru Chiba, and yeah...he;s my special somepony. Very special, my soulmate,” the white unicorn then put a hoof to her chest and sighed, “don’t get me wrong, I love being here. Its a dream come true, a place of peace, no fighting, living in a sweet shop, my friends all here beside me, but I still miss him so much. Sometimes I look at those roses down there and hope that one of them is a guy in a white mask, long cape, and a tux ready to take me up in his arms. To hold me and...” a soft blush came to Usagi’s face as her fantasy played out in her head. Smiling, Pinkie Pie placed a hoof on her friend’s shoulder, “Aw, I wouldn’t worry too much. I bet he’s right now waiting for the best time to come out and surprise you with a bunch of roses and a song. I bet he’s thinking, ‘I can’t wait for the perfect time to see my girl again.’” “Yeah,” Usagi said, smiling as she looked to her Pink companion, “you’re right.” In her head, Usagi began to think back to what her friend had found out just a day before, “ It’s interesting, but as I have been looking into the history of this place and the legends...I  can find no real reason for why we wound up here,” Ami said to her friends as they sat around in a circle at the library. “You mean, we weren’t brought here to save this world, or anything big like that,” Minako asked.         “No, not at all,” Ami said as she looked at her friends from her book, “Most of the legends talk about beasts that have already been dealt with. A lot of the fierce beasts are confined to the Everfree, and there doesn’t seem to be anything that suggests we were brought here against our will.”         “How can you figure?” Makoto asked, sipping on a milkshake.         “Well, if it was truly malicious, then why does Usagi still have the power to morph. Why send us here to this location all together, wouldn’t it be better to send us to different places where we couldn’t be together? Our enemies should know that our ability to stand together is our greatest strength.”         “I know,” Minako said, “and it isn’t like this is the only town on this planet. There’s this really cool place called Cloudsdale that we’ve got to visit.”         “Or why is it that our extranormal abilities can still work. I can still sense water, Rei is able to read fire, Makoto’s lighting power is now part of her, and Minako still has all of her abilities,” Ami said.         “What’s more,” Rei said, “I’ve done some fire readings and, beyond some sort of weird energy in that castle city that I can’t determine, I don’t detect any evil nearby that would require us.”         “So basically,” Usagi said, a smile on her face, “Somepony was nice enough to send us away on a grand Summer vacation.”         “Awesome,” Minako said with a big smile. Turning her head to the stars, Usagi said a little prayer to herself that the days like this one, would last forever. “Come on, Sunbow!” A blue Earth pony with a black jacket yelled out to his orange friend, “You’re acting like a baby. I mean, its Whitetail Wood, nothing bad happens happens here... EVER!” “But Cloud Runner, haven’t you been hearing the rumors lately? Animals have been found near dead all around here, like if their life energy has been drained,” Sunbow said, trembling. “Ah, those are just rumors,” Cloud said, looking around, “probably an uni-ughk!” His discussion was stopped when a claw reached from up above the tree line and grabbed his neck, lines of blue energy flowing from the . “An uni-ughk? What by Celestia...oh my goddesses,” Sunbow screamed as he watched the strange bird-like creature drop her victim from the top of the tree. Trembling in horror, he backed away slowly as the creature turned its head to him and lunged at him with her claws extended. Somewhere, a shadow watched all of this with a sinister glee, “Yes, drain them dry my pet,” Metallia said, “give me the power to reform completely and to strike down the children of the white moon.. Give me the power necessary to strike against,” Metalia then looked down as her hand began to form, “her.” > Action! The guardians of the Stars and the Bearers of the Elements > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Action! The Guardians of the Stars and the Embodiments of the Elements         The sun rose highly over the small town of Ponyville, lighting the picnic that Usagi and Twilight were having with their friends. As Twilight and Ami calmly read up on ancient lore, Pinkie and Usagi were busy having a cupcake eating contest. Elsewhere, Rainbow Dash held a trembling Makoto about a few feet in the air, “All right, easy does it,” the cyan mare said as she held her friend in the air.         “Ah don’t think she’s gonna manage it, she clamped up every time,” Applejack said, looking up at the two and ready to catch them.         “Oh, you doubter,” Minako said as she looked up with Applejack, waving her hoof in disbelief, “just you watch. Makoto is going to manage to at least glide this time. You hear that!? We’re all rooting for ya!”         “Oh my, I do hope she is careful, it is awfully high up,” Fluttershy said, holding some medical bandages at her side.         “Ok, I am going to let you go now, and when I do, I want you to open your wings,” Dash said.         “Yes,” Makoto gulped, keeping her eyes tightly shut.         “AAAAAAAND NOW!” Dash said, letting go of her friend and watching as she spread her wings as she dropped.         “Hey, I think I am actually...AHHHHHHH!” Makoto said, screaming as she accidentally opened her eyes and saw how high she was. This caused her wings to close up and sent her crashing to the ground.         “Are you alright?” Fluttershy asked as she ran to the side of the fallen pegasus.         “I’m fine, just fine,” Makoto said as she slowly got up, shaking her mane free of dirt and other objects that had gotten into her mane, “I’m just a little ticked that I still can’t get the hang of flying.”         “Hey, it’s no big,” Dash said, doing a small loop before landing next to Makoto, “At least you made an epic crash.”         As the mares were having a good laugh at Makoto’s flying lessons, Rei and Rarity were busy looking over some pictures of designs that Rarity had made of Rei’s robes, “Now, I was thinking of adding some additional pockets here and there to help hold some of your... what did you call them again?” Rarity asked. “Sutras.” Rei said, using her unicorn magic to write some characters down on a small slip of paper, “They’re spell charms.” “Oh, right,” Rarity said, before looking at another photo of Rei’s shrine maiden robes, “ I was also thinking of-” “Helllllp,” a pony called out from the bottom of a hill. “My word, what was that?” Rarity asked, her ears perking at the sound. “Down there,” Fluttershy pointed towards the ground where an earth pony laid. Moving quickly, she walked down the hill followed by Ami and placed a hoof to the throat of the fallen stallion, “He’s okay, he’s just breathing very shallow..” “Sir, are you alright?” Ami asked, sitting down next to the stallion, “ Tell me, what happened?” “Mon... ster... White Tail Woods,” the stallion moaned before finally collapsing. “White Tail woods? But there ain't nothing there that could do this,” Applejack said, looking at the others girls in bewilderment. “Come on girls, let’s get this guy to a hospital and then see what is going on here,” Twilight said, using her magic to lift up the stallion and carry his body away. As she and the small herd left, Usagi’s mind began to race at the thought of what a stallion looking like that would only mean. An hour later, the ponies awaited word from the doctor about the patient. Soon, from the room, out came a blue haired mare with a water droplet cutie mark. “How is he, Dr. Water?” Twilight asked. “Its the strangest thing,” the doctor said, taking off her glasses with her hooves and wiping them, “Physically, he’s perfectly fine. All test show that he should be out that door by now; however, his breathing and heart rate are all very low. It’s like... somepony sucked out all of his energy and left him just enough to live. I’m surprised he even got out of the woods.” “Sucked out his energy, what in the sam hill can do that to a pony?” Applejack asked, her mind trying to solve the mystery. “I don’t know,” Twilight said, putting her hoof to her mouth and trying to work out the monster in her head, “Changelings would drain love energy, but they wouldn’t go this far and energy vampires live way too far north to hunt here.” “I’m sorry if I can’t help you in this, Miss Sparkle, but I’m stumped myself,” Dr. Water drop said as she walked off to attend to other patients. “So, what are gonna do Twi?” Applejack asked, looking to Twilight along with the others.         “I first want to talk with Celestia, see if she has any clues and to tell about what is going on,” Twilight said, walking towards the door, “then I want to head to the library to do some research. There has to be something about a creature like this.”         “I don’t want to say it, but it sounds like the Dark Kingdom,”  Rei said, her brow furrowing as she remembered their old foes.         “But that is impossible, they’re dead!” Minako argued, “They were fried, Usagi blew Metallia away, I killed Beryl, They are dead!”         “It is possible, that it could be this world’s version of the Dark Kingdom or creatures with a similar power set,”  Ami said, letting out a small sigh.         “What do you think, Usagi?” Makoto asked, before noticing that the dumpling-haired pony had disappeared, “Wait, where is she?”         Shaking her head back and forth, Rei saw no trace of their friend, “Oh, don’t tell me that idiot is going alone!”         After running for a few miles through Ponyville, doing her best to stay out of sight of anypony who might tell her friends where she was going, Usagi stood outside of White Tail Woods. Panting, she looked into the woods with determination in her eyes, “I’m sorry girls, but this is something that I want to do for myself. I can’t ask you to-”         Her discussion with herself was quickly interrupted by a yell from behind her, “USAGI!”         “Rei?” Usagi asked, seeing the black-haired unicorn running towards her, followed closely by the other senshi.         Rei, looking at Usagi with a very stern face, asked with a growl, “What were you thinking, running off alone to face this monster like that?”         “I’m sorry girls, its just that,” Usagi responded, looking down at the ground, tearing up a little, “I wanted to do this alone.”         “But why?” Ami asked.         “WHY?! Because,” Usagi said, sniffling a little, “Because for the past week and a half, you girls have been HAPPY! We have had to do nothing but be normal girls for a while, with no worries other than helping out the other ponies in whatever life they were having. No monsters, no creatures coming after my jewel because I was a princess, no nightmares, no coming destruction, and nobody wanting to kill us. And now,” Usagi said, throwing her hoof behind her, “here comes this... whatever to ruin that for all of you! I didn’t want to waste your chance to be happy by risking your lives again. I just couldn’t bear it if we got hurt on what was going to be a vacation for us!”         Minako walked up to the crying Usagi and placed a comforting hoof onto her shoulder, “Hey, we don’t mind risking our butts out there, it's our job after all.”         “But,” Usagi was about to say but was quickly interrupted by Makoto.         “Do you think it would be any easier for us if you got hurt?” The green pegasus said, walking up to Usagi, “ We would never be able to forgive ourselves if anything bad had happened to you and we had to watch you spend the rest of our time here in a hospital.”         “It’s just that-” Usagi was about to say more, but Ami came up next.         “You’re far too important to us, Usagi,” Ami said, nuzzling her friend, “You helped bring us all together, and we could never leave you alone to fight something we’re not afraid to fight ourselves.”         Before Usagi could say anything more, Rei smirked and flipped her hair back, “Besides, we’re all in this together, and we don’t abandon one another, ever.”         “Because, that is what good friends do,” Twilight said, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt your meeting.”         “Twilight? What are you...” Usagi began to ask but was interrupted as Dash flew in, followed by Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie.         “Twilight saw your friends running off from the window and figured that you might have been heading off to fight the jerk. So we followed you,” Dash said.         “Look, before ya say anythang, whatever is back there is threatening our homes and” Applejack said, straightening her hat, “Ah aint about to let somepony else fight my battles.”         “Though I detest violence, I would never forgive myself if they were hurt and I couldn’t help,” Rarity said.         “Yeah, and besides, I would never leave any of my friends behind to get hurt,” Pinkie said with a bounce.         “I am not a fighter, but, I’ll do what I can to help,” Fluttershy said, looking at the ponies before her.         Tears came to Usagi’s blue eyes as she wiped the tears away with a hoof, “You guys... I’m too much of a big dumb selfish idiot to deserve friends like you.”         “Idiot, yeah, but you are not selfish,” Rei said, putting a hoof onto Usagi’s shoulder and giving her a hug, “You just have a big heart.”         “Well, what are we waiting for,” Dash said, flying to the edge of the forest, “Let’s show this, whatever it is, how we handle things Ponyville style!”         Usagi looked at the ponies before her, tearing up at the sight, “You guys, what did I do to deserve you.”         A smile crept to Twilight’s lips as she thought to herself, “I wonder that everyday of my life.”         Within an hour of traveling, the herd of 9 ponies found themselves within the heart of the forest; however, there was no sign of the beast to be found.  As they walked onward, they kept a close eye out for the creature, and they tried not to listen to Rarity’s complaints, “I cannot believe this! An hour’s worth of walking and we do not even see this ‘thing’! If it wanted to kill us so badly, it could at least have the decency to do it BEFORE my hooves got tired, of all the....”         Applejack rolled her  eyes at the complaints of the fashionista and walked up to Twilight, “So, got anything Twi?”         Twilight Sparkle shook her head sadly, “No, I reviewed my ‘Amateur's Guide to Energy Drainers’ and I found nothing. Most of the energy draining creatures out there live in hives or caves, not forests.”         “Oh, maybe he’s just visiting or maybe he’s-” Pinkie was then silenced by Rei thrusting out her hoof to stop her.         “Wait! I sense something incoming,” Rai said.         “DUCK!” Rainbow Dash called out as she pushed some of her friends out of the way from a swooping creature.         “Awwww, such a shame,” The creature said from her perch, her claws digging deep into the tree branch, “I was hoping to get annoying white one first.”         “Annoying?! You watch your tongue, you... you... whatever you are,” Rarity called out, noting the weird bird like creature’s wing arms and monkey like face.         “Twilight, what is that thang?” Applejack asked, keeping an eye on the bird creature.         “A harpy. But,” Twilight said, looking down, “That’s impossible, they live on a completely different continent across the ocean. They don’t even drink energy, they eat cows!”         “Awww, does the princess’ pet realize she doesn’t know everything? Let me fix that for you, my darlings by making sure you don’t do anything ever again!” The harpy screeched as she launched herself at the ponies, only for Dash to fly in with an uppercut.         As the fight began, the senshi backed up into a circle, “Girls, lets transform.” Minako said, pulling out a small pen with her wing that held her cutie mark on the top.         “Wh-where did you get that?” Usagi asked.         “I found in my wing when I got here,” Minako said.         “It was in my mane,” Makoto said.         “Next to my hoof,” Rei said.         “In a book,” Ami said.         “But, do you think it will work,” Usagi asked as she took out her broach.         Ami looked at her stick, “Well, if your powers worked like they did before, then it would make sense for ours to work as well.”         As the girls nodded, they lifted their sticks and broach into the air, not knowing that the harpy had caught sight of them.         “MOON CRISIS POWER!”         “MERCURY CRYSTAL POWER!”         “MARS CRYSTAL POWER!”         “JUPITER CRYSTAL POWER!”         “VENUS CRYSTAL POWER!”         “MAKE UP!”         The harpy let out a snarl as she flew away from the 6 ponies in front of her and at the senshi as they let out their calls. However, as she neared her target, she was flown back by a large white dome of pure energy that enveloped the five ponies. The element bearers could only watch in shock as the dome that surrounded their five friends began to surge forth with lighting bolts of red, blue, green, yellow, and white. As the lighting flowed and struck out from the white dome, it struck anything that was around it, but instead of harming the area, it seemed to be taking the energy from the objects that it touched, as if the lighting was only borrowing the energy.         The bird woman let out a screech as it charged at the dome once it dissipated, only to be blown away once more by the last bit of energy, “How dare you ruin these ponies day, you horrible creature,” Usagi said, now dressed in a white sailor suit. “These ponies spend their days living in peace and happiness and I WILL not stand for creatures ruining others happiness. I am the Pretty Soldier in a sailor suit, Sailor Moon, and in the name of the moon-”         Ami stood next to her friend, now dressed in a similar uniform but her skirt was now blue, “In the name of Mercury.”         Rei, now with red in place of blue around her skirt held up her right leg in a snake like pose, “In the name of Mars.”         “In the name of Jupiter,” Makoto said, crossing her forelegs and turning her back to the enemy, showing off the back of her green colored uniform.         Minako had a smirk as she stood with her friends, her orange skirt flapping in the breeze, “In the name of Venus.”         The five ponies looked towards the monster before doing a final pose together, yelling out in one triumphant voice, “ We’ll punish you!”         The harpy shook her head to get herself out of the daze from the energy feedback and swiped its claws at the five senshi. Moving as one, the girls dodged the claw swipe as Makoto leapt from her crouch and delivered an uppercut to the monsters chin. With a growl, the harpy drove it’s knee into Makoto's gut, only to be struck in the head by Rainbow Dash and hit with a hard ball from Pinkie. Deciding to attack the prismatic pegasus first, she took off to the pony in flight.         “CRESCENT BEAM!” Minako yelled as she fired a golden energy beam from her hoof.         “FIRE SOUL!” Rei yelled as a fire spewed forth from her horn and combined with Minako’s beam to create a fiery beam of light that pierced the harpy’s right wing.         The creature let out a roar of pain and turned to her two opponents and flew at them, swiping her claws at the two. Moving swiftly, Minako and Rei leapt out of the way of the two claws, with Minako getting slashed across the right foreleg. Turning around in mid-air, the harpy looked at the two senshi and prepared for another attack but was then struck hard in the back by several sharp needles. Growling, the harpy cut down a small tree and threw it at the white mare.         Bracing herself for the incoming pain, Rarity heard a voice call out, “SHINE AQUA ILLUSION!” Ami stood next to Rarity, unleashing a torrent of ice water that froze the log in mid-flight.         “Moon Tiara ACTION!” Usagi yelled, throwing her tiara at the log and cutting it in half. Following Usagi’s lead, Twilight grabbed the frozen halves of logs and turned them into ice spears and threw them at the harpy, combining it with a lightning spell.         The harpy only had time to dodge one of the ice spikes, getting hit the small lightning bolt and the second ice spike in her side. Letting out a roar, she thrusted out her arms to the side, ready to fly once again. Then, the harpy felt a tight rope tie itself around her arm tightly and on the other arm, she watched as a golden chain appeared and wrapped itself around her, “LOVE-ME CHAIN,” Minako called out as she tighten the grip of her chain.         Seeing her chance, Rainbow Dash pick up Pinkie and threw her at the harpy. Without a word, the pink party mare curled up into a ball and landed hard into the creature’s gut, leaving Dash to drive her hooves hard into the harpy’s chin.         With a surge of strength, the creature pulled the two ponies who had tied her arms forward, causing Minako’s chain to dissipate and to slam Applejack against the tree. Seeing the downed earth pony as her chance to attack, she flew at the young mare. But, before she could reach her, Fluttershy flew in front of the creature, distracting it with a flurry of flaps from her wings. The creature tried to slash and take down the buttery pegasus, but continually missed until she was able to slash a shallow wound onto Fluttershy’s hind leg. Smirking, the creature aimed for the pegasus’s back, only to watch as a flurry of bubbles launched from the hooves of Ami, “SHABOON SPRAY!”         The bubbles began to flow forth, hitting each other until they became a dense fog. Turning her head back and forth, the harpy looked for her targets. After a minute of only fog, she saw 9 ponies standing in the fog and launched towards them, swiping her claws. Sadly, her claws struck only 9 little tree stumps that looked pony like.         “Burning,” Rei called out, rotating her head in a circle and making small little disks of flame appear, “MANDALA!”         “SPARKLING,” Makoto called out, forming a ball of lightning in her wings, “WIDE PRESSURE!”         As one, Makoto and Rei launched their attacks, the ball of lightning flying forth from Makoto’s wing tips and the fiery disks flying from Rei’s horn and surround the lighting ball. The harpy barely had time to react at the ball and disks hit her hard, incinerating her feathers and electrocuting her with a cascade of lighting. Panting, the creature watched in horror as Usagi stood , a strange rod like tool in her magical grip, “MOON GORGEOUS MEDITATION!”  She yelled as she thrusted her device out, sending out waves of pure magical energy that struck the creature hard.         Feeling intense pain, the monster could only scream out, “REFRESH!” As it body was torn asunder, leaving behind a small bird in its place.         “Wait, that thing was a bird all this time?!” Rainbow Dash asked as she watched Fluttershy fly to the blue bird.         “Uh huh, I see. Ok,” Fluttershy stood up from talking to the bird and turned to her friends, “ The bird says that it wasn’t its fault that it did this. This strange smoke thing came and turned it into that monster thing. It was forced to gather energy for it.”         Twilight looked at Fluttershy, “Did it say anything else, like where the monster was?”         “No,” Fluttershy said sadly.         “Hmmm,” Twilight said, putting her hoof to her chin, “I think it’s best if we head back home and to the library so I can get something to the princess and see what she thinks.”         “Good, because Ah need some ice for mah back. It is aching something fierce after that fight,” Applejack said rubbing it.         “I can help with it,” Ami said, demorphing along with her four friends.         “Good, and on the way, I can talk about how AWESOME you girls were!” Dash said as she flew alongside her friends as they began to walk out of the woods.         Little did the herd of ponies realize, that as they walked away and towards the town, they were being watched by a ghostly pair of shadowy eyes, “So... the children of the white moon are here, as well as new bearers of the elements of harmony. Good, I have long waited to see the Silver Crystal shine it’s light once more for me to take it. Ahhh, the feeling of its power being so near gives me chills, or is it because of that feeling? A weird feeling that I have been having since I have taken form, a feeling of familiarity.” Metallia shook off the feeling and looked at the herd, “I would attack, but I am far too weak, I need more energy... I need a soldier for my needs.”         Meanwhile, at the Golden Oaks Library, Twilight watched in amazement as the letter that she sent to her princess appeared in a tuft of green flame, “Wow, that was fast! I didn’t think Celestia would respond so quick.”         As Twilight opened the letter, Makoto walked next to Twilight to look over her shoulder, “So, what does she say?”         Dearest Twilight Sparkle,         What you have told me is very troubling news indeed. The monster that you have described and his actions remind me of an event that had happened back when my sister had become Nightmare Moon. I hereby request that you and your friends bring along your new companions to have an audience with me and my sister here in Canterlot tomorrow.         Signed,         Princess Celestia van Solaris         Ps.         We look forward to seeing moon-buns again as well ;) signed Princess Luna Nyx Solaris          “Wow, this must be really big if Celestia wants us to go to Canterlot personally to see her,” Applejack said.         “Yeah, but why does she need to see them?” Rainbow Dash asked, looking at the five senshi.         “We’ll ask her when we get there, but right now we need to get ourselves ready for tomorrow,” Twilight said, putting away the letter and walking up to her room.          As Rei and the others began to leave, the brunette looked at Usagi, “Are you alright?” Rei asked.         “Yeah,” Usagi said with a sigh as she looked down at the ground before her, “Just thinking, I-I’ll be fine, really.”         “Are you sure?” Rei asked, worriedly and looking at her friend.         “Yeah, you know old Usagi, always brimming with energy!” Usagi said, perking up and running to Sugar Cube Corner.         “She was lying you know,” Minako said, standing next to Rei as she watched Usagi leave.                  Makoto smiled softly, “Don’t worry, she’s probably just worried about us.”         On top of the roof, Usagi watched the full moon rising in the distance and let out a small sigh. It was no secret that she felt calmer and happier when she looked at the face of her guardian star, and it was no doubt she needed to feel a bit serene at that moment. Slowly, she lowered she rested her head in her forelegs, and teared up a little. She did not like the idea of her friends being forced into battle again and the idea of them being in trouble hurt her on the inside, “HEEEEEEYYY THERE! Somepony needs a cupcake!!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed as she popped out from behind Usagi with a plate of cupcakes on her head.         “Pinkie!” Usagi yelped as she moved back from the pink pony as she popped up onto the rooftop.  “What are you doing here?”         “Well, Rei and the others saw you looking all sady-wady, and I realized that you must have been feeling really bad about something, sooooooooooo I came to cheer you up with a cupcake.”         Taking the pastry in hoof, Usagi took a small bite and smiled, “Thanks Pinkie.”         “Hey, cheering up ponies is my life. So, what has you so down?” Pinkie Pie asked.         “Its nothing really,” Usagi said, looking down, “I’m just worried about my friends, and I miss Mamo-chan.”         “Aw, it’ll be ok.” Pinkie said with a smile, finishing her own cupcake.         “I guess you’re right, I,” Usagi let out a gasp as an object flew passed her, impaling what was left of her cupcake, “What was that?”          “ROSE!” Pinkie exclaimed as she pointed to the rose that was imbedded deep in the cupcake.         “Wait, a rose... then that could only mean,” USagi said, turning her head to look down at another rose that was in the ground. Her eyes widening in happiness, she made her way passed Usagi and ran down the stairs towards the door.         “Usagi wait!” Pinkie said as she ran after the young unicorn.         As Usagi made her way to the ground, she saw the rose on the ground alongside a note that said, “What would you do, if I had disappeared?”         Usagi looked at the note and smiled, remembering that question that he had asked once long ago, and she responded, “If you disappeared, then my dreams would disappear. But that won’t happen because.”         Usagi was interrupted by another rose, that another note attached, “Our love is eternal, and never ending, like our dreams.” Usagi looked up and smiled as she saw a small trail of roses leading off to the distance. Her smile growing bigger, the unicorn ran after the trial, hearing a male voice singing in the distance. As she continued her walk, she could hear the voice of the stallion getting louder until she came to a bridge near a tree. As she stood on the bridge, she let out a sad sigh as she saw the trail of roses ending. Looking down at the water, where the moon was reflected, she began to add her voice to the stallion’s.         I am mesmerized when I look at you         And yet I wonder why         Double Moonlight Romance.         “The world seems so much darker when those we love are gone, not even the beauty of moonlight can fix it,” the stallion said, standing on his hooves on top of a tree branch.         “MAMO-CHAN!” Usagi said with a cheer as she looked at the black and white stallion, his cape flying in the soft breeze.         “Usako,” Mamoru said, smiling as he took off his mask from his face to reveal his soft dark eyes. Leaping off from his perch, he leapt at Usagi with his forelegs stretched out, landing in her embrace and wrapping his forelegs around her neck. Looking into her blue eyes, he smiled as he said, “I love you.” Then he leaned in and kissed Usagi deeply, pressing his lips against hers. Not to be outdone, she returned the kiss, closing her eyes and rubbing the back of his head as she kissed her love.         As a silent guardian, the moon watched calmly as the two lovers reunited under the moonlight.         And so, did Mamoru Chiba, find his place in Equestria, in the arms of a princess.                   > Blazing Bright! The Rebirth of the Solar System > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blazing Bright! The Blazing Rebirth of The Solar System         Usagi stood there for the longest time, keeping her lips pressed against Mamoru's and breathing softly as she closed her eyes. Lost in the moment, she felt as if the rest of the world disappeared, leaving only her and her lover to stand there on the bridge. The blonde mare gave out a soft moan as she deepened the kiss, too afraid of breaking away and finding that this was just a dream.         After a few moments, for Usagi way too short of a time, Mamoru finally broke the kiss between the two of them. Usagi turned her blue eyes up at her lover, unsure whether to slap him for keeping hidden for so long or to have another round of kissing. She decided the best thing for her at that moment, was to lean in close to the black stallion, nuzzling his neck, “Where have you been? I thought you didn’t come here with us.”         Mamoru returned the nuzzle, leaning in close to her, “I’m sorry Usako, but I was doing something else and I didn’t get a chance to see you till now.”         “What were you doing?” Usagi asked.         “I think I arrived at the same time you did, just outside a particular forest,” Mamo-chan explained, “I was about to go and hunt for you and the others when... I felt something strange, something from the forest. I figured I should investigate and see what was going on. It took me finding about that harpy before I started to figure out what it is.”         A sad sigh came out of Usagi’s mouth, “ You think it’s the Dark Kingdom?”         “I’m not sure, it just feels like there is something else here. Like it is just using what caused that monster to pop up as just a cover,” Mamoru said, before looking down at Usagi to see her head down, “Are you alright, Usako?”         Usagi calmly nodded her head, “Yeah, I’m fine. I’m just glad that you’re here with us. So,” a smile gleamed across the young mare’s face, “Are you still going to search for what is attacking this country.”         “Yes, I am,” Mamoru said, looking up at the moon, “ I’ll still be looking around to see what I can find and if this is the Dark Kingdom, or see whatever else is behind this. But, I might need a place to stay while I do my searching, someplace close to home.”         Usagi smiled, “Well, Fluttershy lives in a cottage nearby and doesn’t have a roommate. Maybe you could live with her? I could talk to her and see if she doesn’t mind. Just don’t think of anything naughty while you’re there.”         “Now, why would I do anything naughty with her, when all of my naughty thoughts are busy with all of the things I can and can’t do with you in this new body,” a seductive smile came to Mamoru as he looked down at his mare.         Usagi’s face immediately became a bright red as the thoughts of what he could do filled her mind, “Put that under ‘things to dream about later.’ Ok then,” Usagi then looked up at Mamoru, “Just one more thing, promise me that you won’t do anything too reckless and get yourself caught again.”         With an eyebrow arched in reaction, “When have I ever been captured?”         A cute and wry smile came  to Usagi as she traced a hoof along Mamarou’s chest, “Well, lets see-you were taken by Beryl and brainwashed, then you were kidnapped by Farore, captured by our own DAUGHTER, you had put yourself in pain to keep said daughter alive, there was that one time on a boat here you were captured by pirates, kidnapped by Dracula, and I think there was one more I forgot.”         Mamoru chuckled, “Ok, so maybe I get kidnapped a little. All right,” he then brushed some of Usagi’s mane to the side, “I promise, I’ll try not to get kidnapped this time or try to put myself in a situation where I can get kidnapped.”         “See that you don't! Otherwise, I’ll punish you,” Usagi giggled as she put her forehooves in a pose.         Mamoru chuckled before laying a kiss on the side of Usagi, “I’ll see you later then, Usako.”         “I’ll see you again, Mamo-chan,” Usagi said, returning the kiss before watching her lover jump off into the trees.         “WOW! That guy sure knows how to dress!” Pinkie Pie giggled as she popped out from under the bridge, “Doesn’t he get warm with that cape?”         Usagi jumped up in the air at the sudden appearance of the pink mare, “How did you, when did you?”         “Well, I used some sugar pine sap to keep my hooves stuck to the bottom of the bridge and I came in when you guys were getting all mushy and stuff,” Pinkie said as she stood next to her friend, “So... was that your colt friend?”         “Yes, he was,” Usagi smiled, “ I am glad that he came here too.”         “Great! Tell you the truth, for a little while you were getting all mopey and sad about everything that was going down and I thought you might need the extra powerful, ‘immediate and permanent cheer-up cupcake’ to pull you out of it,” Pinkie giggled as she put a hoof around Usagi’s shoulder, “Now, how about you and I go and have a ‘I just refound my coltfriend and now am ready to face the world’ party!”         With a happy nod, Usagi followed her friend to the corner and to have a big celebration for both her friends and the return of her colt.         The next morning, 9 equines stood at the train station and awaited the arrival of both the train and two other members of their group, “I don’t understand this,” Twilight said, walking around the platform with a checklist in front of her, “Pinkie is never this late! And where is Usagi? Didn’t we all agree to meet here at 10:00?”         Rei rolled her eyes,”Pinkie may never be this late, but Usagi...”         Dash looked at the clock, seeing that it read 10:01, and smirked “Ah, don’t worry about it Twi! It’s only 1 minute past 10:00.”         “ONLY A MINUTE? We have a gotten a summons from Celestia herself, expecting us to be there on time and we are a minute late and all you can say is that ‘ITS ONLY A MINUTE!’” screamed Twilight.         “Twilight, dear,” Rarity said, bringing out a comb to tone down Twilight slightly frazzled mane, “If you keep this up, your mane is going to end up looking like a porcupine.”         As the bearers of the elements continued with their discussion, Rei stood by the door looking out at the distance of the town, “ Of course she’s late,” she grumbled under her breath.         Makoto let out a small chuckle, “I guess somethings never change, even when you’re in a completely different world.”         “Tough, what could make Usagi late? I thought she was ready to go?” Ami asked as she then heard a distant yelling coming closer.         “OH MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGODDDDDDDDDDDDD I’MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LATTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!” Screamed Usagi as she dashed through the town and to where her friends were waiting, Pinkie Pie trailing behind her while holding onto the white mare’s pigtails, “I am so sorry I’m late guys, I was really busy partying with Pinkie last night and I forgot to set the alarm and...”         Rei only let out a sigh as if to say ‘typical’, Minako on the other hand, took a close look at Usagi’s features, “What had you so happy that you... you found Mamoru didn’t you?”         With a cheerful nod, Usag responded, “YES!”         “Oh, Usagi, I’m so happy for you,” Ami smiled, walking over to her friend and giving her a tight hug.         Usagi returned the embrace, feeling as if her world was becoming more and complete as she heard Twilight say, “Ok, now that we’re all together, let’s make out way to Canterlot. I don’t want to keep the princess waiting anymore.”         The other girls nodded in response and walked onto the train, not knowing of a small black bird watching them silently. With a caw, it flew off into the distance, landing on the shoulder of a wandering Minotaur and silently pecking his shoulder, “Go to Canterlot, destroy the city, steal the Silver Millenium Crystal, and kill the senshi.”         “NO I WON’T” screamed Weak Will as he felt his body begin to distort, transform and mutate, his features becoming far more monstrous, and his body larger. His will gone, he turned to the mountain where Canterlot stood and growled lowly.         As the girls got off the train, the senshi we left in awe at all of the surrounding, “Oh my goodness,” Ami exclaimed, “It’s fantastic!”         “This place place is so cool,” Makoto said, in awe by the architecture of the buildings.         “Almost like the middle ages,” Ami responded as she walked alongside her friends. “Just look at the architecture.”         “Oh, I can’t wait to see some of these places, this is going to be so cool!” Usagi shouted as she jumped along with Pinkie, taking it all in until Twilight interrupted with a cough.         “As much I am glad to see that you are all excited to visit the capital, let’s not forget why we’re here,” Twilight said, walking ahead of the party. “The princess requested us to be at the palace today and I DON’T want to keep her waiting any longer than we have to.”         The senshi could only nod in sadness and let out a regretful sigh. Turning towards the castle, they began to walk but were soon interrupted by the panic screaming of nearby ponies, “EEEEEE! Monster Minotaur!”         “Get the Guards!”         “WHAT CAN THEY DO?”         “They can be out meat shields while we run away to somewhere safe!”         “Good IDEA!”         “Well, that’s not very nice to say.” Fluttershy said in defence of the guards.         “Monster Minotaur?” Asked Rainbow Dash as she turned her head towards the sound of fighting and rumbling.         “I think they mean, whatever is causing that!” Twilight yelled, pointing to the destruction in the distance. Partly wanting to investigate, and partly because she didn’t want anypony to get hurt, she looked to her friends, “Applejack, Pinkie, you two are some of the fastest, I want you two to help get some of the ponies away from that area. Fluttershy, Rarity, find some shelter and lead the ponies there. Rainbow, you’re with me! Usagi, you and your friends should,” Twilight stopped and smiled as she watched the bright white light coming from a near by alleyway. Turning quickly, she and her rainbow maned friend ran off towards the destruction.         Hidden from the sight of the 11 mares, three ponies watched the scene from within a small coffee shop. Turning to one another, they quietly nodded and slowly got up from their table to run off into a nearby alley. Once they were well hidden, they carefully slid out three small sticks.         “THIS WOULD BE A LOT EASIER IF YOU FLEW!” Dash yelled at Makoto, who seemed intent on not flying, ever.         “I don’t need to, I’m fast enough without it,” Makato grumbled in response.         As the 7 ponies arrived at the scene where the minotaur was, they watched in shock and horror as he picked up a pony and drained her energy through its eyes, “HEY! Monster!” Screamed Dash.         The monster let out a low growl as he turned to the source of the noise, throwing the almost dead pony to the side. Lifting up his large mace, he let out a roar.         “I don’t know what you are thinking of doing here, but I won’t stand for it! You leave these ponies alone you, you large bull!” Usagi yelled.         Ignoring the command from the senshi, the large monster began to step slowly forward, only to feel himself beginning to trip on a lasso. Growling he looked down to see an orange mare running in between his legs with her lasso tied to a lamppost. Before he had time to react, another lasso wrapped around his neck, “LOVE-ME CHAIN!” Yelled Minako and she pulled him down.         As the beast tumbled forward, Rainbow Dash flew under his chin and delivered a hard uppercut to him. Flying away, Dash smirked as she watched the monster crash to the ground. The monster then flipped onto his back and slammed his fist to the ground, making it shake hard and jostling the 8 mares. With this distraction at his side, the monster quickly got back up to his feet and let out a growl. Raising his mace, he readied a slam to the ground; however, he was stopped by a frozen wave of water hitting his eyes and blinding him. He then felt a cannon ball hitting his stomach hard, “BOOM!” Shouted Pinkie as she arrived to the battlefield with the other bearers in tow.         Becoming more annoyed by these upstarts, the monster let out a roar and raised his mace to slam it into the ground. Bracing themselves, the girls began to anticipate the attack, but instead heard three distinct shouts, “WORLD SHAKING!” A large golden energy ball flew forth from atop a building.         “DEEP SUBMERGE!” A blue orb of watery energy flew from the same rooftop, joining its friend.         “Dead Scream,” a whisper, almost as powerful as a shout was also heard followed by a purple energy blast that joined its other friends and stuck the monster hard in the stomach, simultaneously.         “Those attacks,” Usagi said with a smile as she turned her head upwards.         “Guided by the new era, I am Sailor Uranus appearing magnificently,” a yellow pegasus with a short cut mane said, her light blue sailor fuku blowing in the breeze.         “Also guided by the new era, I am Sailor Neptune appearing beautifully,” a sea green earth pony said, standing back to back with the yellow pegasus.         “Sent here by the future era, I am Sailor Pluto appearing regaly,”  a dark purple unicorn said, dressed in a similar fashion as her two companions,at her side was a very large staff with an orb at the top.         “Uranus, Neptune, Pluto!” Usagi exclaimed as the three girls leapt from the roof and down to where the 11 mares stood.         “It’s been a while, kitten,” the pegasus, Uranus, teased. A smile formed on her lips as she tucked the unicorn’s chin.         Ami smiled softly at the three mares, “When did you girls get here?”         “I think it would be around the same time you 5 did, me and Haruka just met up with Setsuna,” Michiru said.         Before Haruka could ask a few questions, the senshi and bearers heard a large roar from behind them. Turning around they watched as the creature struggled to get up once more and got ready for another fight. However, that is when they heard a soft voice coming from behind the minotaur, “Uh, excuse me.”         “HUH?” The monster questioned as he turned to face a small purple earth filly.         The monster let out a small chuckle as he lifted up his mace and slammed it towards the small filly.         “Shame, I did warn you after all,” the small filly said as she held up her pen, “SATURN PLANET POWER, MAKE UP!!” As she yelled this, a large dark purple dome covered her in a similar vein as the senshi. As the dome glowed and shimmered, the dark purple lightning surged forth from the dome, though unlike the senshi’s lightning, hers seemed to be taking from the land and causing it to wither and decay around her.  As the monster’s mace neared her, the dome faded away and left behind the small filly dressed in a sailor fuku with a very large staff with a curved blade at the end. Holding the glave in her mouth, she lifted up above her head and said emotionlessly, “Silence wall.”         The monster let out a grunt of shock and pain as the glave generated a black shield to cover the filly. This field then pushed back the minotaur, leaving him to moan in pain while the filly looked up at the monster, her face still unfeeling and almost emotionless, save for a cruel smirk, “Silence Glaive, Surprise,” she said, putting her glave to the side and doing an upward slash, leaving a huge gash in the monster and destroying the club in one swipe. As she landed behind the monster, he turned slowly back into a normal albeit badly hurt and confused minotaur.         Looking up at the 14 ponies before her, her emotionless look and horrifying smirk turned into a smile of pure happiness. Tears came to her eyes as she ran to the three newly arrived senshi, “HARUKA-PAPA, MICHIRU-MAMA, SETSUNA-MAMA!”         “HOTARU!” Cried the three mares as they walked over to the running little filly and hugged her tightly.         “My little girl, you’re all right!” Haruka said, nuzzling Hotaru, smiling.         “I don’t care where you’ve been, I’m just glad to have you here,” Michiru said, holding the little filly.         “Welcome home,” Setsuna said, smiling.         “MAMA, PAPA?” Asked the mane 6 as the senshi demorphed.         “Yeah,” Haruka said, ruffling the black mane of the little filly. “Hotaru here is our little adopted daughter.”         “Oh, I get it,” Dash said, trying her best to hide her attraction to Haruka. The mane six all nodded in understanding, after all there were plenty of lesbian couples with adopted children back in Ponyville.         Usagi smiled, “Girls, these are my other friends, Haruka Tenoh, Michiru Kaioh, Setsuna Meioh, and Hotaru Tomoe.”         “Makes sense, there are nine planets, there should be nine senshi,” Twilight thought to herself.         “Usagi, is Small Lady here as well?” Setsuna asked Usagi.         “No, I haven’t-”before she could finish, however, she was interrupted by a large shout.         “ALL RIGHT YOU 15! FREEZE! ALL OF YOU STAND AT ATTENTION!” Shouted a white unicorn stallion with a blue mane as he walked towards the ponies.         “Great, cops,” Minako said, rolling her eyes in disgust.         “Now, most of you I do not know or even met,” the white stallion said, his golden armor shining in the sunlight. “The rest of you, however! I do know and have met before,” he said walking to the six bearers of harmony, “and some of you look like troublemakers. ESPECIALLY YOU!” He said, pointing a white hoof at Twilight and glaring at her. “I can tell right now that you are the pony who thinks she’s pretty dang smart!”         “Well, just a little,” Twilight said, smiling a little and trying not to laugh.         “I bet you think that you are pretty dang special, that you are just clever,” the unicorn said, looking into her eyes.         “Well, I try not to,” Twilight said, only to get interrupted by the stallion.         “I bet you think that you’re the best little sister in the world,” the stallion said, his gruff exterior now replaced with a gentle and caring smile.         “You tell me, BBBFF,” Twilight said, smiling as she gave the stallion a big hug.         “Yeah, you kind of are Twily,” Shining said as he hugged Twilight back.         “Usagi and friends, this is Shining Armor. He’s my big brother,” Twilight said, turning to face the senshi.         “Oh, I know who he is,” Hotaru said, smiling. “Armor-Niisan and Cadence-Nechan helped to take care of me and kept me safe while I was looking for you.”         “Well, actually Cadence did more of the caring, I just mainly played with her and kept her entertained,” Shining said, rubbing the back of his head nervously, “So I take it that these are your parents?”         Hotaru nodded happily, “Yep! Thank you so much for helping me.”         “Hey, it was no problem,” Shining said before looking at his sister and her friends, “Now, let get all of girls to the palace. Celestia and Luna have been waiting for you and are quite excited to see you. Luna is especially ready to see you again, ‘mam.”         “Me? But I’ve never been here before, how could she know me?” Usagi asked.         “I don't know, the princess just told me that she was excited to see ‘moon-buns’ again, and you are the only one here with hair that looks like buns, so I figured she is waiting to see you.” Shining said as he lead the 15 ponies down the streets and towards the castle. > Heartbreaking! The tale of the two moon princesses > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Heartbreaking! The Tale of the Two Moon Princesses         After making sure that the entire group was there, Shining Armor led the group of 15 mares to the towering castle that sat closest to the mountain side. As they neared the pristine white castle, with its majestic banners flying high, and its shining parapets gleaming with the sun; Usagi and her friends looked on in awe at the beauty of the castle of the sun. When they approached the gate, Shining Armor looked at one of the guards, “Swift Arrow, let the Princesses know that Twilight and friends are here along with her ‘special’ guests.”         The orange pegasus nodded and saluted to Shining, “Yes, sir!” He shouted as he opened the door and went inside as fast as he could, ahead of the team. Following Shining Armor’s lead, the 15 ponies walked into the halls of castle, and again the senshi were mystified by the loveliness of the castle. Inside the structure were large marble pillars and lining the walls were pieces of artwork establishing history and moments of friendship. The windows were large enough to let in plenty of sunlight while allowing for lovely views of the kingdom itself and across the ceiling were large bannisters. For the senshi, it was as if they were looking at the insides of a palace from home. It did not take long for the group of ponies to walk down the hallway that lead to throne room, stopping just before the giant doors. Igniting his horn with his magic, Shining opened the massive doors to reveal the throne room where, upon a golden throne, sat a lovely white alicorn with flowing multicolored ethereal mane. At her side was a dark blue alicorn looking at the entering ponies with a giant smile on her face, “Presenting,” Shining said, bowing to the princesses, “Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and company.” A smile came to his lips as he gave Twilight a hug before leaving, “Have fun, Twily.” “I will, BBBFF,” Twilight said, hugging her brother back and then following her friends as they walked towards the to alicorns. “Is Luna all right?” Applejack asked, whispering to Rainbow Dash, “Ah’ve never seen her so, peppy.” “I know, it’s kinda scary,” Dash whispered back, looking at how Luna was anxiously twitching her throne, “I mean who replaced the princess with Pinkie Pie?” “Both of you, HUSH!” Rarity said, nearing the throne, “Luna is probably just excited to see us again after so long.” “Princess Celestia, I am glad to to see you again,” Twilight bowed to her teacher, followed by the other mares bowing in respect to the solar dairch. “Twilight Sparkle,” Celestia said with a smile, “As always, it is good to see my most faithful student come here with her dearest friends. I will always be grateful for your company.” Celestia then turned her head to the 9 senshi, “And we of the kingdom of Equestria are deeply honored to welcome the ruler of the Silver Millennium and the rulers of the 8 planets. We welcome you to our realm, Princess Serenity of the Moon.” Celestia said, bowing to Usagi. “Wait, you know who we are?” Usagi asked, taking a few steps back in shock. “Yes,” Celestia said, taking a slow breath, “I know all of you are.” She then looked to Minako and the others, “Also we are honored to have in our company: Princess Ami Mizuno of Mercury, Princess Makoto Kino of Jupiter, Princess Rei Hino of Mars, and Royal Guard Captain-Princess Minako Aino of Venus. I am also surprised, but honored nonetheless, to welcome in our kingdom the guards of the outer realms-Princess Haruka Tenoh of Uranus, Michiru Ten-I mean Kaioh of Neptune and Princess Setsuna Meioh of Pluto,: At the mention of Haruka sharing her last name with Neptune, the blonde pegasus couldn't help but smile at her marefriend while Celestia continued, “And lastly, we are very pleased to welcome Princess Hotaru Tomoe of Saturn to our country. Though I must say it is also a big surprise as we never expected the Senshi of rebirth to grace us with her presence, but we are grateful nonetheless.” If anypony was standing outside the door at that moment, they would hear the collective dropping of six jaws. “OH MY WORD!” Rarity exclaimed, holding a hoof to her mouth, “If I ever knew that I was entertaining a princess in my house-” “My stars, Ah never would’ve guess that-” Applejack said, bowing quickly to the senshi. “This is so exciting, we were friends with 5 princesseseses!” Pinkie Pie bounced happily. “Oh, my goodness,” Fluttershy said, blushing a little at this. “This is so awesome!” Dash said, looking on at her roommate with a little bit of pride. “Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh,” Twilight panicked, “I had a princess in my house all of this time and I never let her read all of my books and I didn’t entertain her properly and know she probably feels insulted. I am so sosososososoososo sorry your highness!” “It’s ok,” Ami shyly said. “Its not something I focus on,” Usagi said. “But how do you know who we are?” Asked Makoto. “There will plenty of time to explain that, but for now,” Celestia said, a proud smile on her lips as she looked to her little sister, “ I do believe that Luna wants to spend some time with an old friend.” Turning to look up at her sister, Luna gave a big smile and a squee of joy before leaping off the throne and walking up to Usagi, “OH! Princess Serenity, it is so good to see you again,” Luna said with a smile as she wrapped her hooves around Usagi and hugged her tight. “I had thought thatyou have been lost to me forever. I was afraid that I would never see you again, but here you are... alive. I couldn’t be happier to see you.” Usagi, never one to be heartless, happily returned the hug but then pulled away, “I’m sorry, but why do you two know who we are?” “You, do not remember me?” Luna asked, looking at Usagi sadly. Lowering her head, she let out of a sad sigh, “Of course, it makes sense that when one is resurrected one would lose some of their memories of their previous life.” Usagi looked at the saddened alicorn and reached over to pat her back and hug her, “Hey, its alright. I may not remember you, but I could still try to be your friend.” Luna looked up and smiled at Usagi, returning the hug, “Still the same Serenity, overly optimistic and hopeful. I am glad that your resurrection did not change you for the worse. Come,” Luna requested, walking to the door of the throne room, “We shall head to my chambers and I will tell you of our past friendship. By your leave, of course, dear sister.” Celestia chuckled, “Of course you can go, Lulu. I have some things to discuss with Twilight and her comrades, you go and reconnect with your old friends.” Twilight couldn’t help but smile at Luna’s enthusiasm as the alicorn smiled and happily walked out the door with the senshi in tow, “Celestia, I don’t understand. How can she be so old and know Luna? How can she be a princess and not an alicorn? The last time I heard of something like that was with Princess Platinum.” “Dearest Twilight, I am happy to answer all questions about our 9-”Celestia said, only to be interrupted by Pinkie. “10! There was that mamamamamo guy,” Pinkie corrected. “Oh, the prince of Earth is here as well? I must say, Endymion is quite a surprise, I would’ve thought that he would stay home,” Celestia said. “Endymion?” Applejack asked. “Sit,” Celestia said, bringing out several pillows for Twilight and friends, “We have much discuss about our new arrivals and that mysterious entity that you and your friends fought.” As the discussion between teacher and student began, a reunion of old friends began to take place somewhere else, “Our story, Serenity-” “Usagi, please,” Usagi said as she walked alongside the lunar alicorn. “Usagi, sorry,” Luna said with a blush as she made her horn glow. As she began her story, the senshi could almost feel as if they could see and hear everything that they were told.         Our story begins several millennia, back when the Silver Millenium was still the gleaming gem on the moon and was the capital of the sol kingdom in its golden age. During this time, not only did the kingdom have connections to the other nine planets in your solar system, but held relations with other dimensions as well. One such dimension was Equestria and for a time your mother, Queen Serenity, would entertain my mother whenever the time could allow. On several of these occasions, Mother Terra would bring along a couple of guests...         A young girl with white pigtails ran up next to her mother, “Are they here yet? Are they here yet?”         The mother, dressed in a long white gown, only smiled softly and looked down at her daughter, “Oh my dearest daughter, you are so impatient. Queen Terra had just arrived through the portal, they’ll be nearing the throne room shortly.”         “Awwww, but I want her here now!” pouted princess Serenity.         “Your daughter has a lot to learn about patience, it seems,” a tall and regal green alicorn spoke as she entered the throne room, a young white alicorn filly following next to her.         “Wait,” Ami said, “Why is your mother still an alicorn in our world? Why did we get turned into ponies when we crossed dimensions?”         “Before the kingdom fell to ruin, there was a power source that made dimensional travel possible without losing one’s form. You might know of it?”         Usagi took one good look at her broach, “The Silver Millennial Crystal?”         “Yes, the crystal which kept the kingdom safe for so long also acted as a bridge to our world due to its connection to the elements of harmony,” Luna said.         “Wait! There is a crystal as powerful as the elements?” Twilight asked Celestia, her eyes opened in shock.         “Yes, due to the Crystal and the Elements sharing a similar origin, their power is equal and thus were able to create a link between worlds. Such is their power,” Celestia said. “It is one of the many lessons I am going to be teaching her, your highness,” Queen Serenity said, before bowing to the light green, orange maned alicorn before her.         “Queen Terra,” the young princess asked, walking up to the alicorn and looking at the white filly next to her, “Is Lulu here too?”         The young Celestia let out a sigh and shook her head, “I am sorry my dear Serenity, but Luna’s been very sick and couldn’t make the trip.”         “Oh,” Serenity said, looking down at the ground, not noticing the pair of blue eyes looking out from the alicorn’s mane, “I was hoping to see-”         “BOO!” Luna shouted out as she leapt out from Terra’s mane and next to Usagi, “Surprise, Serenity!”         “LULU!” Serenity exclaimed with glee as she wrapped her arms around Luna and gave her a tight hug, “I am so happy you came to visit!”         “Of course I would, I wouldn’t dare to think of missing our visits. Come on, lets head to the gardens and play tag,” Luna said as she walked ahead of her friend.         “Mother, can I?” Serenity asked.         The queen smiled softly and nodded, “Yes you may my dear, but remember stay-”         “Within sight of the senshi and never stray too far from Princess Ami’s cameras, I know,” Serenity said, bored.         “Celestia, stay with your sister,” Terra said to Celestia as she walked away.         “Yes, Mother,” Celestia said, her voice very solemn and serious. As she walked with the two lunar princesses, she leaned in to whisper, “ Don’t worry, I know of a way to ditch the royal guards and head somewhere fun!”         Turning to face one another, the two lunar princesses giggled and ran off together ahead of the solar princess. Outside in the gardens, four young teenagers stood at arms, watching the two fillies and young girl as they ran outside, “ They’re planning on running off you know,” Minako said, looking to her three companions.         Sailor Mercury giggled, “You have to admit, they are quite the adventurous sort.” “A little too adventurous,” Sailor Mars said as she kept an eye on the two fillies and girl. Looking up at the four senshi as they stood at the edge of the garden, Serenity happily waved hi to them and smiled widely. It was then that Celestia walked in front of the two moon princesses and stretched her wings, giving out a blinding light that distracted the four guardsmen and leaving the three princesses to run off from the garden and off the grounds.  Once outside on the grounds, Celestia stood back and watched the two lunar princesses as they began to play and enjoy the light of the Silver Millenium. “Under the protection of the Crystal, the four senshi of the inner worlds, and of course my sister, so were the days of our youth done in pure happiness and love. It is easy to see why,” Luna said, “ We had been friends ever since our mothers put our cribs together and let us sleep close as babies. However, our happiness would not last forever.” “What happened?” Ami asked. “Diverging interests,” Luna said as she began to show images of her and Usagi growing up, “While Serenity was trained to be a princesses of peace and to be more of an ambassador, allowing for the Senshi to be the royal guardsmen... Mother wanted me and Celestia to be warriors.” Haruka watched some of the images pass by, including some of a large black alicorn stallion watching over Celestia and Luna as they dueled with blades, “Your parents seemed to really want to push you to your limits.” “Who is that large stallion?” Michiru asked. “My father,” Luna said, smiling a little. “He was the most strict when it came to our warrior training. Though it proved the most useful when me and my sister had to encounter one of the biggest trials of our lives.” The senshi said nothing as they walked by a mural showing a light blue alicorn and a white alicorn facing off against a snake-like demonic beast with various animal parts grafted on his body. Luna looked ahead as she continued, “Needless to say, you and the rest of the Silver Millenium were at the ready to help us...”         Serenity ran into the throne room, holding her dress up to allow her to run easier, “Has there been any word mother? Is Lulu all right?”         The Moon Queen let out a sigh as she turned away from a cloaked figure, “Oh, my daughter, I am sorry but...”         `Serenity took a step back and gasped with her eyes widened in horror, “No, please don’t let her...”         “Be perfectly fine?” Luna asked as she turned her cloak into bats, a smile on her lips as she looked to her fellow moon princess.         “LULU!” Serenity exclaimed as she ran towards the dark blue alicorn and gave her a big hug, “Does this mean...?” “Yes,” Luna said with a nod, “Harmony reigns in Equestria once more, with me and my sister now at the head of country. She will have power over the day court while I have night.” “I am so happy for you and your sister Luna,” Serenity said with a smile. “I won’t lie though, there is another reason for my visit,” Luna said. “What?” Serenity asked. The queen looked at Luna and then back to her daughter, “She wishes to borrow our royal guard for a special mission...” “...To take on the nightmare queen and claim my place as queen of the dream realm,” Luna said as the reached her chamber door. “Nightmare queen? Do you mean Nehelenia?” Asked Setsuna as Luna opened the door. “You have done battle with her?” Luna asked. Rei frowned at the alicorn, “She tried to plunge the word into a realm of eternal nightmares and darkness.” “It’s good that you survived, she is not an opponent to take lightly,” Luna said as she led the 9 into the bedroom where she laid out pillows for the little ponies. “What happened after that?” Ami asked. “The duties of a princess, especially ones as high as me and my sister, are very taxing indeed,” Luna said, sighing. “It becomes worse when you feel as though no pony respects your art and denies the recognition that you deserve. However, one hope that I had was that our visits, if not our communications, would stay the same. Twas not to be as I began to hear from you less and less.” “What happened?” Usagi asked, before turning her head up to watch as Luna generated an image of the Earth and Moon joining as one with a heart, “Oh.” Luna walked to the balcony where a lovely young woman stood, her royal gown flowing in the breeze, “Serenity, we had wondered if you had faded into the twilight.” “Lulu!” Serenity said as she ran and hugged her old friend, “I am so sorry that we have not been able to talk in so long.” “It is all right, we have just been curious as to why,” Luna asked as she looked at Usagi’’s face. “Wait, heated cheeks? A faster heartbeat? A soft smile? Oh, Thou art in LOVE!!” “YES!” Serenity jumped happily. “Oh, Serenity, we art so happy for you!” Luna said with a smile as she hugged Serenity, “So, who is it?” “His name is Prince Endymion, the prince of a kingdom on Earth and guardian of the Golden Crystal,” Serenity said with a smile as she looked to the Earth. “I hope that he brings you eternal happiness, my dear Serenity,” Luna said, before looking over the balcony with a sigh, “At least one of us will be happy.” “What do you mean?” Serenity asked. “It’s... nothing. Forget I said anything,” Luna said, turning her head away. “Hey, we’re sisters of the moon... remember?” Serenity said, putting a hand onto Luna’s shoulder, “We protect each other.” Luna smiled softly, “It’s just that... the ponies of Equestria do not seem to appreciate my nights, Serenity. They don’t even recognize me for protecting them from the nightmares in the dreamorld! Everytime they awaken, they think the reason why they have a good dream is because of their parent, a blanket, or a lover. I-I am quickly forgotten as soon as my task in their dreams is done, like a forgotten memory. I wouldn’t even mind that, I knew the moment I became the protector of dreams, that my deeds would not be remembered. I was ready for that, but the worst of it is-” Serenity put a comforting hand on Luna’s shoulder as the alicorn began to weep, “Is what?” “IS HOW THEY IGNORE MY NIGHTS!” Luna yelled, the tears now flowing down her cheeks, “I have always thought that if I could not be remembered as a guardian of dreams and of the shadows against the darker monsters of Equestria, then at LEAST I could be remember for the lovely nights I give them. BUT NO!” She then turned to the balcony and placed her hooves on it  so she could look at the stars, “They sleep right through my nights. I turn the stars into pictures so they would have some art to look at, constellations I call them. They don’t even notice those, they just sleep the night away. I give them stars in the hopes that ponies could use them to return home when lost. They don’t even try that! I give them the moon so they could have hope and light in the eternal darkness... but no, they don’t even notice that!” “Oh, Luna. I am so sorry,”: Serenity said as she wrapped her arms around her alicorn friend, “I wish there was something I could do to help you, but know that we here in the moon kingdom will always appreciate your night. Anytime that you feel like you don’t amount to anything, come here and we will give you a home and all the appreciation you may require. Our doors, and my heart, are always open for you.” “Thank you, Serenity,” Luna said with a smile. “That was the last time I had a chance to talk to you, Serenity,” Luna said, solemnly. Back in the throne room, Applejack looked at Celestia as she rested on the pillow, “So what happened to this Silver Millennium?” “A being from the sun, known as Metallia, corrupted a young witch named Beryl and attacked the kingdom,” Celestia said, her face lowering in sadness as she remembered the day she received the news. “Princess Celestia!” A white unicorn stallion guard yelled as he ran into the room. “Shadow Blade, what is it?” Asked the solar diarch. “It’s the portal to the Silver Millennium. Its gone,” the guard panted, trying to catch his breath. Luna’s eyes furrowed in anger, “YOU LIE! HOW DARE YOU BRING SUCH FALSEHOODS BEFORE US. FOR THIS YOU MUST BE EXECUTED!” Yelled Luna as her horn glowed a bright blue, aimed right at the guard’s heart. “It is not a lie, your highness! We were checking the portal room to see if there was anything we could do to help with the war against Metallia when suddenly, BOOM! The portal had vanished in a bright flash of light,” the guard said, bowing. “... No. No, no, no!” Luna said as she ran to the place where the portal had once stood. Tears in her eyes, she began to pound on the stone wall, making cracks form in the walls from where her hooves made contact with the wall, “Bring her back! BRING HER BACK!” Luna’s screams continue to echo throughout the castle until finally, it was replaced by the soft sobs of a lunar princess who had lost her best friend. “Little did I know,” Celestia said with a sigh, “that the fall of the Silver Millennium would wind up being the second worse news that I would ever receive in my life that day.” “Sister?” Celestia asked as she walked through the castle, hearing a strange song being sung. Now the hour has come at last The soft and fading light “Luna, where are you?” “In the throne room,” Luna said, taking a break from her song before answering with a bit of venom in her voice, “Sister.” To shun the moon and instead Wait for sister’s sunny day “Luna, what is that song?” Celestia asked, opening the door to the throne room and walking inside. I shall not be Overshadowed Mine is not the lesser light! “Luna...please, tell me, what’s wrong?” Celestia pleaded, fear and sorrow in her voice. THE NIGHTTIME HAS BEGUN! Luna finished the last part of the song with an almost triumphant flair before walking out slowly from behind her throne, “Did you really think that I would stand around while they bathed in your precious light?” “Luna, what are you talking about?” Celestia asked, watching her sister get to the bridge between the two thrones. “Luna... you’re scaring me, please don’t do this.” Celestia pleaded, tears coming to her eyes. “There will be only one princess in Equestria,” Luna said, slamming her hooves to the ground and breaking it, “ME!” “On that day, I had lost two worlds,” Celestia said, somberly. Back in Luna’s room, the senshi stood in shock and horror as Luna continued her story, “I had always thought that if I had just one pony who could love my nights, one more pony in the world that didn’t make me feel worthless, that I could manage. But, to lose my friend, my fellow moon princess... it was too much for me and I gave into the nightmare.” Luna was expecting apologies, what she was not expecting was the massive group hug from the 9 senshi. After hugging her tightly, Minako looked to Luna, “So, what happened next?” “For a millenia, I was forever trapped in that monster’s body. Unable to talk, unable to think, and forever haunted by my greatest fears and loses given flesh. It was not until six ponies, with friendship born of fire, used the powers of the elements of harmony on me and freed me from that beast. After I had awakened and gotten settled back into Canterlot, one of the first things I did was head to the wall where our two worlds met. I figured the best thing I could do was pay my last respects to my dear friend; however, I began to hear noises. Looking at the wall, I saw a small crack. Being curious, I looked into the crack and saw young women standing around a sword. The moment I saw your hair... I realized that you had revived and were alive. However, I watched in horror as the crack disappeared from my sight and the wall turned back to normal. I seem to remember hearing a pony trotting off after that happened, but I didn’t care. For an hour I scratched and bashed the wall to get it to open. But, it was to no avail and had no choice but to walk away. Although, I was happy to know that somewhere... you were alive and that one day, I could see you again. You could imagine my happiness when I read Twilight’s letter and discovered that you were coming over to visit.” Usagi sat there, her eyes widened at this revelation, “Wow! I-I never new, I am so sorry that I didn’t remember any of that, or our friendship.” Luna waved a hoof and picked up a plate with her magic, “It is all right, I should’ve expected the memory loss from your resurrection. But, that is past and I think I have gone on long enough about my story. Please tell me what has been happening to you nine since your return, I am quite curious.” The senshi each took a snack and some tea from the plate and then began to regale Luna with tales of their adventures-from the battles with Berly to the black moon clan to the arrival of Mistress 9 and to the recent battles with Nehelenia and her Dead Moon Circus. As the Senshi and Luna had their talk within the confines of the moon princess’s private chambers, Celestia continued her talk with the six bearers of the elements, “Celestia, how can you be so sure that the harpy and the minotaur are all connected to this ‘Queen Metallia?” Celestia took a deep breath as she took a sip of her tea, “Because, she and I are connected. We both draw our abilities and power from the sun.” “It makes sense, since you said she was born from a sunspot,” Twilight said, looking down at her tea. “Wait, a sun can get spots?” Dash asked, looking out at the now night sky. “Well, yes. If you had an advance telescope like I do,” Twilight explained, “You would see that sometimes the sun can form spots thanks to extreme magnetic activity.” “And since she came from one of these spots, we have a symbolic connection. Ever since your friends came to this world, I have been getting visions of a dark creature wandering through Equestria,” Celestia said, looking down at her cup and trying to hide a weakness in her eyes. “I fear that she has come here for two reasons, to take the Silver Millenial Crystal and the elements to empower her and to plunge Equestria into a land of despair and darkness worst than anything Discord would’ve done.” “Don’t worry princess,” Dash said boastfully, “We wont let this queen Metallica or whatever she is destroy Equestria!” “Yeah, we’ll stop her,” Applejack said. Celestia winced a little before continuing, “I have no doubt that you’ll do your best to protect Equestria from this threat, although...” “What is it, princess?” Twilight asked, looking up at her mentor. “I fear that this may not be the only threat to Equestria that has arrived. There is something else, although I can not describe it, Just be on your guard,” Celestia said before looking up at the moon and then back at her student and friends, “It is getting late, and I feel like you all must want to get to bed. I have arranged for you to have a room across from where the senshi are currently sleeping.” “Thanks Celestia!” Pinkie exclaimed as she hopped out of the room and into the hallway. “I’ll help lead her there,” Dash said, taking off and followed shortly by the others.          As the mane six left the throne room, they did not notice the solar diarch slump to her knees and take a shuddering breath, “Oh, I’ve been getting too weak lately.”         Back in Luna’s private quarters, the senshi were finishing up their tales of heroics and fun, “So then Chibi-usa just threw the pie right at Hotaru’s face.” Michiru giggled.         “And that is why Haruka-papa is not allowed to bake pies anymore,” Hotaru said, before looking up at her father and smiling, “But I still love you papa.”         Haruka looked down at the filly in between her forelegs and then nuzzled her tenderly, “Love you too, my little firefly.”         Luna couldn’t help but laugh at the last story, enjoying the tales of her old friend’s antics. Letting out a contented sigh, she looked up at the moon and then turned to face the senshi, “Well, the night draws long and I think it is time for all of us to get some sleep. I have arranged for all of you to sleep in the bed chambers close to mine, including a private one for princess Haruka and her wife.”         Michiru looked to her mare and then back at Luna, “Um, we’re not married.”         “WHAT?!” Luna exclaimed, “You two have been in love with one another since the days of the Silver Millenium and you have just reunited once more. You two even have a child together and you mean to tell me that thou haven’t even popped the question yet? This will not stand! I will let this slide for now, but the next time we see thee princess of Uranus, we had better see a ring on that mare of yours.”         Michiru looked at her blushing mare and put a hoof around her leg, “You heard her, princess’s orders. So maybe I should take you to our room and we could... talk.”         Recognizing the look on her mother’s face, Hotaru leaped to Setsuna as they walked out of the room, “Oh, Setsuna-mama, can I stay in your bed while Michiru-mama and Haruka-papa talk mom and dad things?”         “Yes, you may,” Setsuna said, walking with the little filly in tow.         “Serenity, could you stay a moment? I wish to talk to you,” Luna requested as she watched the senshi take their leave.         “Yes, Luna?” Asked Usagi as she walked to her friend.         “I can’t help but sense that you are troubled, moon-sis,” Luna said.         “Troubled? Me? NO!” Usagi retorted quickly, her eyes darting back and forth as she let out a nervous chuckle.         “Serenity, though you have changed a little since you have come back, I can still tell when you are lying and hiding a deep pain,” Luna said, looking down at the white unicorn, “now please, tell me what is troubling you.”         Usagi let out a sad sigh, “It’s the Dark Kingdom. I am worried about my friends.”         “Why?” Luna asked.         “Because the last time we fought them, they had to sacrifice themselves for me. FOR ME! I... I can’t bear it if they did that again.”         Luna chuckled and put a comforting hoof onto Usagi’s shoulder, “But, aren't thou stronger since then. Haven’t your friends become stronger since that battle as well? You also have the outer guard with you as well!”         “That’s what worried me,” Usagi mournfully said, turning away. “If me and my friends have gotten stronger since the fight with Metallia, what if she has too. What if they have to sacrifice themselves again to help me win?! I can't bear to let someone else give themselves up for me.”         “But you know that the Ginzuishou has the power of resurrection.” Luna stated.         “Oh, and that makes the idea of watching my friend’s die any better?” Usagi asked, “I don’t care If I can bring them back, watching them die doesn’t get any easier. It just gets worse because it reminds me that I can’t save them, that for all that being a princess brings me, it can’t help me save my friends!”         Luna smiled warmly and placed a hoof onto Usagi’s shoulder, “And this, my friend, proves why you are worthy of such a powerful weapon and why your friends will not die in this fight. Let me ask you something,” Luna said, smiling, “Why do you think that, when your mother wielded the Ginzuishou, all it did was reincarnate you but when you wielded it you were able to resurrect all of them?”         “Because I... ”the princess stumbled on her words for a bit, unable to think of a reason.         “Because when your mother used it, she was alone wasn’t she?” Luna asked, seeing Usagi nod in response, “That’s why, the Ginzuishou is not as powerful as it can be when it is used in the presence of friends.”         “What do you mean?” Usaig asked.         “The elements of Harmony and the Ginzuishou come from the same source, the tree of harmony. While the elements are the fruit of the tree, the Ginzuishou is made of its bark and thus they both take their power from Harmony itself.” Softly, Luna placed her hoof onto the broach where the gem laid. As she did, the gem within began to glow a soft dark blue, much like her coat, “When my sister wielded the elements alone, all she could do with them was banish me to the moon, but when Twilight realized the magic of friendship for the first time and forged her bonds with her friends... she freed me from my nightmarish hell, they could conquer chaos itself, and even defeat gods that would make a mortal tremble. Much like you, when your friends are near... you defeated Metallia, but more than that you defeated the nightmare and reformed the goddess of destruction by turning her into a child.”         Usagi let out a small chuckle as she joined her hoof with Luna’s, watching the gem glow with a pure white mixing with Luna’s blue, “Yeah, we have done some amazing things.”         “Always remember, as long as you stand fast with your friends, I am positive that you can do miracles,” Luna then took a quick glance to her side to watch as the mane six walked by the door, “Much like they can. I know that there is some small fear in their hearts, but that is natural; however, I know that their fear is quickly vanquished thanks to the strong bonds that they have formed.” .         “Thanks Luna,” Usagi said, wrapping her forelegs around the lunar princess’s neck.         “”You would’ve done the same for me, my moon sister. It’s what we do,” Luna said, smiling.         Cheerfully, Usagi ran off towards the rooms where her friends are, not paying attention to the conversation that Twilight and friends were having, “So what do you think is wrong with Celestia?” Applejack asked.         Twilight quickly stopped her walking, “What do you mean?”         “Darling, I know you think the world of her but you can’t deny that she was looking tired,” Rarity said.         “I’m not denying anything, what do you mean?” Twilight asked, stopping front of her friends.         “You didn’t notice? The way she would space out from time to time, her slow breathing, the effort it was taking to hold her teacup? She’s becoming weaker, Twilight.” Rarity said         “No, it can’t be!” Denied Twilight, shaking her head, “This is Princess Celestia, she could only be beaten if someone were to power her up to her level. I thought I explained to you guys about the fight with Chrysalis, she was holding back during that fight and the queen has increased her power by that point. She can’t be getting weaker, she can't!”         “Sugarcube, she is,” Applejack said, putting a comforting hoof onto Twilight’s shoulder, “Ah can’t help but wonder if it’s got somethin’ to do with this Metallia girl.”         “Yeah, don’t worry Twilight,” Dash said, smiling. “Just you watch, when we take care of Metallica, she’ll be right as rain again.”         Twilight gulped,” I hope so.” She continued to walk with her friends, not noticing Luna standing behind them. “You have no idea how right you are, Lady Applejack.” Luna thought to herself as she looked to where Celestia had slept. “The moment that Metallia breached the veil, my sister had been growing steadily weaker, as if Metallia is draining her life force. Soon she will be only as strong as Cadence, only capable of raising the sun and unable to fight... AHHHHH” the blue alicorn winced as she felt a sharp pain go through her head.         Elsewhere, back in the room where the senshi stayed, a meeting between the senshi and element bearers was held, “So, what are you going to do now?”         Haruka looked down at the little filly in her forelegs, “Well, me and the others were thinking of staying here in Canterlot.”         “WHAT? But you can't!” Usagi yelled, “We all need to be together! We just met again.”         “Why don’t you ladies stay in Ponyville?” Asked Applejack.         “Are you sure?” Asked Setsuna.         “Well of course!” Pinkie said, “I know of this great place that is near Fluttershy’s house that can hold four ponies. The family that lived there just moved to Manehatten and no pony is using it.”         “Hey, maybe Twilight can talk to mayor into letting you four have it,” Dash said.         “Oh, can we Haruka-papa?” Asked Hotaru.         Haruka looked to her team and then back to her daughter, “Sure.”         “YAHOO!” Pinkie cheered with Usagi, “Now we can have a ‘happy that the senshi are all together so the Sailor Moon fans are now really happy and the plot can get moving’ party!”         Somewhere, outside of a small town, a blue unicorn began to kick around a small stone, “Fraud? Useless? Inferior? WENCH? Those ponies do not know who they are speaking to! I am THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRRRRRRIIXIE! I will show them, sure I needed the alicorn amulet to fight Twilight one-on-one but give me time and I’ll-”         “Fail again?” A mysterious voice said from the shadows.         “WHO IS THAT?” Asked Trixie as she turned around to face the shadows, her horn glowing brightly.         “Parely, please. I am not here to fight, only to offer you a chance to become more... powerful,” Metallia said, smiling.         “Trixie doesn’t need the help. She tried that with the amulet and it failed then! From now on, it’s Trixie! On her own!” Trixie boasted.         “Oh, you misunderstood... I am not offering to make you more powerful, just...to open the door for you and teach you. Take you under my wing as it were, and give you the same chance that Twilight had,” Metallia said.         “No tricks?” Trixie asked.         “No tricks, you help me and I help you. Deal?” Metallia said.         A smirk came to the blue unicorn as she extended her hoof, “Deal.” > Omake 1: Thank you! Remembering those who came before! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you! Honoring those who came before us!         Twilight Sparkle ran through the small auditorium, her wings flapping at a humming bird’s pace, “Oh, sweet Celestia we’re never going to get this done in time!” She yelled in a panic as she went backstage, “Rainbow, are you still not done with the backgrounds?”         “I’ll get it done Twilight,” Dash said, resting on top of a small wooden cloud, She then looked over at the purple alicorn beneath her, “Uh, Twi? Aren’t you an unicorn for this story?”         Twilight looked at her back and at her two wings, “Oh my gosh! I was just in such a hurry to get this story up and running that I forgot to get my spell out for the role.”         “It’s ok, Twi-twi,” Pinkie giggled, rolling in a large cake with the words ‘thank you’ on it. “This is an omake, wich means anything we do here won’t have any effect on continuity at all.”         “Anything?” Dash smirked.         “Yep, anything goes,” Pinkie giggled.         Twilight shook her head, trying to clear away her fear as she walked further through the stage, “Rarity, do you have the stage designs ready?”         “In a few moments,” Rarity said, looking up to a brown earth pony with a fireball cutie mark. “Taranee, be a dear and weild those two bars together.”         “Sure thing,” Taranee said, forming a fireball.         “Ah still can’t believe ya convinced the W.I.T.C.H gals from the other story to pop in for the help,” Applejack said, watching as some of the other members of the team flitted about, helping where they could.         “Well, when I told them who this was for, they jumped at the chance to help,” Twilight said, looking over to Will.         “Ok Twilight, I think me and the girls got everything,” the red mane pegasus said. “Also, I got some of the ‘other’ guests here as well.”         “Excellent, now we just need to-” Twilight began, only to be interrupted by Dash strutting in.         “Well, I did it,” the cyan pegasus said with a smirk, “ I joined the Wonderbolts, married Sorin and Fluttershy, became the fastest thing in the universe, and beat Tirek within an inch of his life. I am awesome.”         “Dash, what did you...”         “Well, Pinkie said that anything goes in an omake, so I decided to do a whole bunch of things on my to do list,” Dash said, pulling out a long sheet of paper.         “Let me see that,” Twilight said, pulling the paper away, “ become a wonderbolt, beat a god alone, become faster than the flash, and marry...marry every pony I know?” Upon reading that last one, she looked up to see Dash with a ring in hoof.         “Well? I only have this omake to make my dreams come true. I never really could decide who I want to be be with and to deprive anypony a lifetime with me would be a crime,” Dash smirked.         Twilight let out a growl of annoyance and face hoofed at Dash’s idea, “Just get everything in place and keep an eye out for the guests.”         “Twilight,” squeaked a little white filly, followed by her four friends.         “Yes, Sweetie Belle?” Twilight asked.         “ME and the other crusaders want to make sure we got the rigth lyrics for the song,” Sweetie asked, looking at the script.         Twilight gave the script the once over, “It’s fine Sweetie Belle.”         “All right Sparkle, Trixie thinks its time you changed her assitant!” Trixie yelled, walking up to the purple alicorn.         “What’s wrong with Sunset?” Asked Twilight.         “She continues to mess up Trrrrrixie’s special effect. Trixie has been doing the special effects for all of the fanfics of this studio to this point, she knows how to work them,” Trixie said.         “Just let her have her say, Trixie. It’ll be fine,” Twilight said, looking at the time sheet, “Oh, they’re coming.”         Just outside of the very large auditorium, Usagi and the other senshi began to walk towards it, “So, why did Twilight invite us down here?” Asked Makoto, looking back at her wings from her costume.         “Maybe the author finally found something to write for the future chapters of the story,” Ami said, a soft smile on her face.         “Yeah, he has been taking too long. Just what has been doing lately, sleeping?” Said Rei.         Minako looked shocked at Rei, “Rei, are you ok? That was a little out of character.”         “Wasn’t me!” The pony Rei said, before looking up at the animated 9 girls before them.         “OH MY GOSH! LOOK AT THE CUTE PONY US!” Squealed the human Usagi as she ran to the pony version of herself, only to bump into one that was black and white.         “HUH?” Said the black and white version of Usagi, her body looking more whispy and gorgeous, as if from a painting, “Oh, its another me. This is so great!”         “Isnt it?” Squealed a black haired school girl as she came running to the different Usagi’s, “This is like, having a whole group of the same friends. OH! We should all talk about our different histories, is you Minako as awesome as mine is? Oh what am I saying, of course she is!!”         “Let me guess, Usagi?” Asked the pony Usagi.         “But what about...” asked the black and white Usagi as she point her hand to her hair.         “OH! I have that too, it’s just this way when I’m not transformed,” the black haired Usagi said, smiling.         “Wow! So many mes, Amis, Reis, and Makos! Just what is going on?” Asked another Usagi, her hair seeming to be more plastic than the other Usagis.         “Um, I think I might have an explination,” said pony Ami as the other senshi began to meet and talk to their various counterparts. “After talking to myself and other selves, we have come to the conclusion that each of us is another verision of the same person.”         The comic Ami stood forward, “For instance, I am from the magna, she is the fanfic me, there are ones who are from a world where there are only five of us.”         “OH! That would be us,” a Minako with a cowboy hat said, holding the hand of her Rei.         “What is my relationship with Minako there?” the more cartoony Rei asked herself.         “Some of us are from an anime, and then there are those of us who fight while singing,” the Ami with more plastic like blue hair said.         “Oh, you are all here, good,” squeaked Fluttershy as she looked outside the auditorium. “Twilight said its ok for all of you to come in, if its not too much trouble or you aren’t done talking to each other.”         With a nod the girls all filed into the auditorium, taking their seats in the front rows and mingling with their persepective teams. Looking up at the stage, the spotlight shown on Twilight Sparkle as she walked to the podium, “Thank all of you for coming today, I am very pleased you could join us. You are probably wondering about how some of you are here, this is because I had Will use her folding abilities to cross dimesions and bring you all here,” the purple alicorn smiled, looking at the red mane pegasus to her left.         “The reason why we brought all of you here today is to say this,” Twilight said, a soft smile as she looked at the crowd, “Is to say, thank you. All of you from the bottom of our hearts. Although My little Pony was here before you girls were even thought of, it was you who had a hand in bringing us here to where we are today. Will?”         Will smiled, “Without you girls, I think it would be safe to say that there would be no W.I.T.C.H, no Winx, or several other magical girl series that you all inspired. You served to help bring the awesomenes of shows that are not here to life, like Cardcaptor Sakura and Rayearth.”         “Its because of this, the lessons that you have given to all of us, the stories that you have told, and the ideals that you represent that we thank you all,” Twilight smiled. “Some have said that my fight with Tirek was DBZ inspiried, and maybe that is true, but I would like to think that the end when I opened the box and I had the Rainbow Power flow through me and my friends. At that moment when they were giving me their power and I them. That we took inspiration not from Goku’s desire to be stronger than the next opponent, but to protect our friends and loved ones. To use friendship and love is not a weakness, but a strength and by admitting that we need we each other was something that you have always taught. Thank you so much for inspiring us and the world for years to come.” Turning, she smiled to Sweetie Belle and her three friends, “To finish this off, we present this tribute.” (As the music begins, Dash pulls away the curtains to show a Moonlit background.) Sweetie Belle: I... I didn't know... Know just how the story... Just how the story goes... (The music changes as Trixie and Sunsets horns glow bright, showing scenes of the anime and manga) Apple Bloom and Scootaloo join in with Sweetie Belle I'm sorry I'm not candid. I can say it if in my dreams. My thoughts are about to short circuit. I want to see you right now! I'm just about to cry -- moonlight I can't call you, either -- midnight But I have a simple heart, so what can I do? My heart is a kaleidoscope. (As Babs joins in with the other CMC, the scenes change to showing the girls as when they were young and alone) With the light of the moon to guide us, we'll be brought together by fate many times over. (A bright light shines into each one of the young senshi’s images, turning them older and stronger. In each one of their flashbacks they are joined by a young Usagi, bringing them together as one. The mane six come across the stage, each lending thier voices to the mix as the CMC walk off, each of the mane representing a particular senshi) Grasping tightly to a love you've finally found your way to, you rest gently in a brief sleep. Laying a goodbye kiss on your closed eyelid, I left you behind in the garden of time. Love can't continue as a mere dream But if you lust after it, it becomes a beautiful but hollow shell. But still... If that's what you want, then chase after me. That kiss is a red tattoo, a tattoo that engraves a prophecy of destiny I'll know with just one look There's a tattoo that hurts in the shape of your lips; you can't hide it. It's Moon Revenge, wooo... (The music now changes pace showing the senshi at their best, at their worst. But most importantly, everytime it was the power of their friendship and bonds that protected them and guided them. The images show how being together stregthened and empowered them through their hardest times. Now the W.I.T.C.H girls join in the song.) I won't wait any longer! Being so close, don't let it end I want all of you A slide had separated us, but after gently sliding downwards, a pearl was revealed to us. ~ From the way you look at me... I feel you can see what's in my heart. ~ Repeated for thousands of years Love is a mysterious war. From your love's moonlight, I bathe in it, and am transformed Vividly, Secretly, into: La Soldier *   (At the final lyric, the images explode with a picture of the senshi together, standing strong and always as one. Above their heads, the words ‘thank you Sailor Senshi appear) _______________________________________________________________ Just outside of the auditorium as the party winds down, there are five young ladies looking in. A Usagi begins eating at a donut, “So why weren’t we invited?”         A Rei growls, “Probably didn’t want me to kill them all and burn their corpses!”         “Like, maybe, they were afraid of how fab I look,” said a slightly flighty Mina.         Ami would say something, but was interrupted by a, “Maybe they’re just just jerks,” from Lita.
