> Pinkamena 3: Homecoming > by Pinkamena666 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Through The Forest > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pinkie Pie ducked behind a tree as a royal guard ran passed. She snuck after him. When he was about to turn around she pounced. She knocked him to the ground and dug her teeth into his neck. He screamed in pain as she tore a chunk out of his neck. Blood sprayed all over the grass. Pinkie Pie chewed on the piece of meat in her mouth and swallowed. She then gnawed away at the guard's neck. He continued to scream with pain as Pinkie continued to eat him. She stopped biting his neck and dug her metal tooth into the guard's eye socket. She plucked out his eye and chewed on it. She loved how the eye pops between the teeth. She swallowed it and sighed. The guard was screaming louder now. "I know how to shut you up." said Pinkie Pie. She squeezed the sides of the guard's mouth with her hooves to force it open. She then dug her teeth into the guard's mouth and grabbed his tongue. She pulled back as the tongue stretched like taffy. Then there was a ripping sound as the guard's tongue tore away from the floor of his mouth. Blood filled his mouth and then spilled out onto the grass. Gurgling could be heard as Pinkie Pie savored the tongue. Soon after, the guard drowned by choking on his own blood. Pinkie Pie finished the tongue and looked down. "Bummer." she said. "I was just starting to have fun." She put her mouth over the gaping wound in the guard's neck and slurped up the blood that poured out. She moaned with satisfaction as the blood went down her throat. She inhaled and exhaled through her nose heavily as she continued her meal. When no more blood came out she tore off another chunk from the guard's neck. After chewing and swallowing the piece of meat she continued drinking the blood the spilled out. "Over here!" came a voice. Pinkie stopped eating and stood up. Her entire face was covered in blood. She ran in the opposite direction of the voice. After running a couple feet she arrived at cliff. She peered over the edge and saw the ocean. She looked back and saw royal guards emerge from the forest. "There she is!" one of them yelled. "Get her!" Pinkie turned back to the cliff, took a deep breath, and jumped. The guards got to the cliff as Pinkie splashed down into the ocean. "Oh, no." said one of the guards. "We are so fired." "Shut up, Ralph." said another. > Amnesia > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Hey, Dawn." said a pony. Dawn turned around and saw a pony running towards her. They were right outside the town of Trottingham. Dawn was using her magic to carry a basket of food along with a blanket. "What's up, May?" asked Dawn. She was a blue unicorn with a yellow mane. "Going on your picnic?" asked May. She was a red unicorn with a blue mane. "You bet." said Dawn. "Well, when you get back do you wanna do some more painting?" "Of course." said Dawn, heading off towards the shore near Trottingham. Trottingham was located near the shore of Equestria, located to the south of Fillydelphia and to the east of Manehattan. Dawn kept walking when she finally arrived at her usual spot on the shore. She set down the towel and straightened it out. She then set down the food basket. She was about to lie down when something near the water's edge caught her eye. She took a couple steps toward it to get a better look. It was another pony. She looked like she was in trouble. Dawn took off towards the pony and knelt down beside her. It was a pink pony with balloons as a cutie mark. "Hello?" asked Dawn. The pony slowly opened her eyes halfway. "Who... who are you?" she asked. "I'm Dawn. What's your name?" "Pink... Pinkamena." "Pinkamena, huh? That's a nice name. What happened to you?" "I-I can't remember." said Pinkie Pie. "Are you hungry?" asked Dawn. "A little." "Well, come on." said Dawn. "I was just about to have a picnic." She helped Pinkie Pie get up. Then the two of them made their way to Dawn's picnic. Dawn gave Pinkie a piece of bread out of the basket. Pinkie sat down and started eating. "This bread is delicious." said Pinkie. "Is that your special talent?" "No." said Dawn. "My special talent is painting." "Painting, huh?" asked Pinkie, taking another bite of bread. "Yeah." said Dawn. "Me and my friend, May, both have the same talent. So we paint together." "Interesting." said Pinkie. "So where am I?" "You're right outside Trottingham. It's to the south of Fillydelphia?" "Fillydelphia?" asked Pinkie. "Why does that sound so familiar?" "Well, the current of the water was flowing south. Maybe you were washed ashore from Fillydelphia." "Maybe." said Pinkie. They finished eating and headed back to town. When they arrived at the town entrance they were greeted by May. "Hey, Dawn." she said. "Who's your friend?" "This is Pinkamena." said Dawn. "I think she has amnesia." "Amnesia?" asked May. "Can't remember a thing." said Pinkie. "Only my name." "Well, that's too bad." said May. "I'd hate to lose mymemory." "Maybe you should see a doctor." said Dawn. "Find out what's going on and how bad it is." "Perhaps I should." said Pinkie. "Where is this doctor?" "Follow me." said Dawn. "I'll take you to him." Pinkie followed Dawn through the town. She looked all around as they passed by buildings and stores and other ponies. Finally they got to the doctor's. They entered the building and stood in the lobby. It wasn't a huge building. It looked like a family-owned business. They headed to the front desk. The pony behind the counter looked up from a magazine she was reading. Pinkie suddenly had a sense of déjà vu. An image of a blue pony with a yellow mane reading a magazine flashed before her eyes. "We need to see the doctor right away." said Dawn. "What seems to be the problem?" asked the pony. "This pony may have amnesia." said Dawn. "Amnesia, huh?" asked the pony. "He's free right now so you can just go in." "Thank you." said Dawn, leading Pinkie into the doctor's office. When they got inside they were greeted by the doctor. "So, what seems to be the problem?" he asked as Dawn motioned for Pinkie to sit in the chair. "Possible amnesia." said Dawn. "Amnesia? Let's find out, shall we?" He stood next to the chair that Pinkie sat down in. "What's your name?" "Pinkamena." "Very good. What's your favorite color?" "Not sure." said Pinkie. "But if I had to guess... pink." "Well, this isn't about guessing. It's about knowing. So... favorite animal?" "Not sure." "Favorite food?" "No idea." "Favorite song?" "Drawin' a blank, doc." "Your parents' names?" "Nothin'" "Friends' names?" "Do I have friends?" "I'm your friend." said Dawn. "Okay." said the doctor. "It's a positive. You have amnesia." "Great." said Pinkie. "It's not that bad." said the doctor. "Any number of things could trigger your memory." "So that's what it was." said Pinkie. "I'm sorry?" asked the doctor. "Oh... outside in the lobby when I saw the receptionist reading a magazine, I had a sense of déjà vu. I saw a blue unicorn reading a magazine. I didn't know what it was at first, but... now I think it was a memory." "See?" said the doctor. "There you go. If you want your memory back, do things you think you might have done in the past." "Thanks, doc." said Pinkie Pie, leaving the chair. She followed Dawn out of the building. May was waiting for them. "So, what did he say?" she asked. "Amnesia." said Pinkie. "We need to do things she might have done in the past in order to trigger her memory." "Sounds like a plan." said May. > Pinkamena's Epiphany > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pinkie Pie, May, and Dawn all sat down at a table. They were at a restaurant in Trottingham. "See anything on our way here?" asked Dawn. "No." said Pinkie. "Nothing." May said nothing. She just stared at the table. "May?" asked Dawn. May said nothing. "May?" "Huh?" asked May, quickly looking up at Dawn. "What?" "Something wrong?" "It's just..." she started. "What is it?" asked Dawn. "Remember Strawberry?" asked May. The name Strawberry caused another image to flash through Pinkie's brain. This one was a bit more disturbing than the other one. She saw a mutilated red unicorn sprawled out on a cement floor. Blood was everywhere. Pinkie blinked a couple times to clear the image from her head. "Strawberry?" asked Dawn. "Did you ever end up finding her?" "Sort of." said May. "What do you mean sort of?" asked Dawn. "When I went to her last known location to look for her, the unicorn I spoke to all of sudden started to freak out. She kept yelling for me to leave. And that Strawberry was... dead." "Dead?" asked Dawn. "That's terrible. Who could do such a thing?" "I don't know." said May. "But I miss her so much." "So do I?" said Dawn. Pinkie stayed quiet. She kept rethinking the image she saw of the dead pony. What could it mean?, she kept asking herself. Then a waitress came over to their table. She was a pink unicorn with a yellow mane. She set regular silverware in front of Dawn and May. Then she set down silverware in front of Pinkie Pie that had hoops attached to the handles. "May I take your order?" she asked. "Lemonade with some tomato soup." said Dawn. "Pink lemonade with chicken noodle soup." said May. "Got any meat?" asked Pinkie Pie. The waitress just stared at her. As did May and Dawn. "What?" asked Pinkie. She thought about it for a second before realizing what was going on. "Oh. Right. How about some lemonade with soup." "What kind of soup?" asked the waitress. "Surprise me." said Pinkie. "All right." said the waitress. Be right back." Pinkie looked down at the silverware with hoops on the handles. Just then another image flashed before her eyes. This one was of a sharp, bloody knife with a hoop on the handle. A pink hoof was through the hoop and was cutting through the skin of a blue pegasus with a cutie mark of a cloud shooting off a rainbow colored lightning bolt. She blinked rapidly to clear the image. "Something wrong?" asked May. "What if it's best I don't remember who I am?" "What do you mean?" asked Dawn. "What if whoever I was before the accident was... bad?" "Bad?" asked Dawn. "Yeah. Bad." said Pinkie. "Like... hurt others. And what if the amnesia is the only thing keeping that part of me at bay? Wouldn't it be best to just leave things the way they are?" "I guess." said May. "Are you sure you were bad before?" "I keep seeing these... images." explained Pinkie. "Disturbing images. And if they're memories, then... I don't want to go back." "I understand." said May. "I think I prefer you this way, anyway." The waitress came back with their food. "Let's eat and then we can discuss things over at my house." said Dawn. > The Birthday Party > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rainbow Dash opened her eyes and let out a sigh. A nurse unicorn entered the room and stood next to her bed. "So, today's the day." she said. "You ready?" "You bet I am." said Rainbow Dash softly. "Here we go." said the nurse, removing Dash's bed sheets. "Let's start by removing the bandages." The nurse slowly unwrapped the bandages around Dash's thighs. Dash looked down and saw that her wounds had healed. Her thighs were blank, however. "Where's my cutie mark?" asked Dash. "It'll come back if you're fully healed." said the nurse. "Is that how it works?" They watched for a few more seconds until something started to fade into view. It was Dash's cutie mark. "Looks like it's healed." said the nurse. "Let's try walking." Rainbow Dash got out of bed and walked in circles around the room. "Oh, yeah." she said. "How do you feel?" asked the nurse. "I feel great." "Then you're good to go." said the nurse. "Thank you so much." said Dash, rushing out of the room. "Slow down!" the nurse called after her. Dash didn't pay attention, though. She burst through the front doors and shot up into the sky. She closed her eyes as she felt the sun's warmth against her skin. "Rainbow Dash!" yelled a voice. Rainbow Dash looked down and saw all of her friends. She shot back down and landed. "How do you feel?" asked Twilight. "Great." said Dash, looking around at everyone. All of her old friends were there along with Trixie, Fern, and Macy. "So this is what you're usually like, huh?" said Fern. "You bet." said Dash. "By the way, how are you feeling?" "I'm good." said Fern. "Though I may never look at a window the same again." "Anything new?" asked Dash. "Well, you're out just in time for Pipsqueak's birthday party." said Fluttershy. "When and where is it?" asked Dash. "It's in his hometown of Trottingham." said Twilight. "If we leave now we should be able to make it." "Then let's go." said Rainbow Dash. Pinkie Pie sprawled out on the couch at Dawn's house. The living room had a purple carpet. The windows had red drapes. There was a ceiling fan in the center of the room directly above a rectangular table. The couch that Pinkie was on was set up against the back wall. It was at one end of the table. There was a window behind it. Dawn and May sat down in arm chairs at the opposite end of the table. "So, you want to stay like this, huh?" asked Dawn. "Would you rather me like this or do want to risk me getting my memory back resulting in the possible murder of one of you?" "I guess not." said Dawn. Pinkie sat up and looked out the window. There was a group of ponies, unicorns, and pegasuses all gathered in the center of town. There were tables set up with balloons and a cake. "What's going on over there?" asked Pinkie. "A birthday party." said Dawn. "Were you two invited?" asked Pinkie. "Yeah." said May. "The whole town's invited to birthday parties." "Would it be all right if I go, too?" asked Pinkie. "Don't see why not." said Dawn. "Cool." said Pinkie. "When is it?" "Should be starting any minute." said May. "Let's head over now." The three of them left Dawn's house and made their way to the party. Twilight finished up a conversation with one of the ponies and went to chat with Rainbow Dash. She was standing outside of the group, moving her back legs back and forth. She stopped when she saw Twilight. "How you holding up?" asked Twilight.. "I'm great." said Dash. "It feels good to be out and about again." "I bet it does." said Twilight. "I can't imagine what it..." She stopped. "What?" asked Rainbow Dash. "I-i-it's... it's..." "Come on, Twilight." said Dash. "What is it?" "Pinkie Pie's here." she said softly. "WHAT?!" Dash yelled. Twilight quickly put a hoof over her mouth. "Shhh." She removed her hoof. "Look." Rainbow Dash looked over where Twilight was looking. "Who's she with?" asked Dash. "I think the real question is why is she with them?" The two went to find Trixie. They found her drinking some punch. "Trixie." said Twilight. "Pinkie's here." Trixie choked on the punch she was drinking. She set the cup down and cleared her throat. "You sure?" she asked. "Yeah." said Dash. "She's coming over here." "Really?" "And she has company." said Dash. "Come on." said Twilight. "We need to find the others." She started to push through the crowd. She then bumped into one of the ponies. "Sorry." said Twilight. "I wasn't..." Pinkie looked at her. "It's all right." she said. "Don't worry a..." She paused. "Twilight?" "Uh..." said Twilight. Trixie and Rainbow Dash stood next to her. "Rainbow Dash?" said Pinkie. "Trixie? How you girls doing?" "Good." said Trixie, hesitantly. "To tell the truth, I'm not exactly sure when the last time I saw you girls was." said Pinkie. "I have some amnesia and I don't remember anything." "Amnesia?" asked Twilight. "You remember nothing?" "No." Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Trixie looked at each other. "Hey." said Pinkie quickly, making the others jump. "You should meet my new friends." "New friends?" asked Rainbow Dash. Pinkie disappeared in the crowd for about a minute and came back with two unicorns. "This is Dawn and May." said Pinkie. "Hello." said Dawn. "Hi." said May. "Nice to meet you two." said Twilight. "Could you excuse us for a second?" "Sure." said Dawn Twilight, Trixie, and Rainbow Dash disappeared in the crowd. "What's going on?" asked Dash. "Is this the same Pinkie Pie?" "I admit, it is weird." said Trixie. "But maybe this is a good thing." "Maybe." said Twilight. "But what if her memory comes back?" "Well, let's hope that it doesn't happen." said Rainbow Dash. "And we can't let the Royal Guard know she's here." "What?" asked Trixie, shocked. "Go against the princesses? Are you crazy?" "I hate to say this, but I agree with Dash." said Twilight. "If Pinkie has amnesia we can't risk the Royal Guard knowing where she is and have them triggering her memory. Let's just enjoy this miracle." "Right." said Trixie. They headed back to Pinkie, Dawn, and May. "Hi." said Trixie. "I'm Trixie." > Back At Dawn's > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight, Trixie, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash sat on the couch in Dawn's living room. The others sat in arm chairs. No one said a word. Twilight and her friends stared at Pinkie Pie. Pinkie stared back. "So..." said Twilight. "Was I really that bad?" asked Pinkie. "Are you kidding?" asked Rainbow Dash. "You--" "No details, please." said Pinkie. "I don't want to remember a thing." "Well, I for one am glad." said Twilight. "Me, too." said Rarity. "So let's get to know each other." said Fern. "Great." said Dawn. "Because I don't know any of you." "I'll start." said Twilight. "Hi. My name's Twilight Sparkle. My special talent is magic and I love to read." "I'm Rarity. I have special talent of finding hidden gems and absolutely love making beautiful dresses." "I'm Applejack. I work on my family's apple orchard and am currently tryin' to raise some money for the farm." "I'm Rainbow Dash. I can fly really fast and enjoy a good race every now and then." "I'm Fluttershy. I can take care of any animal and love hanging out with them." "I'm Fern. I own a post office in Fillydelphia and I am great at making healing herbs." "Really?" asked Twilight. "That's pretty cool." "Thanks." said Fern. "Well, I'm Macy. I own a clothing store in Fillydelphia and I'm great at retail." "I'm Dawn. I'm a great painter and love picnics by the ocean. It's actually where I found Pinkamena." "Yeah." said Pinkie. "That was lucky." "I bet." said Rainbow Dash. "And I'm May. I'm also a great painter. I love making new friends and I..." May stopped talking and looked down at the floor. "May?" asked Fern. "Something wrong?" "She just recently lost somepony." said Dawn. "She was my best friend." said May, not looking up. "I should have kept her home that day but she wanted to work." "What did she do?" asked Fern. "She delivered supplies to small businesses." said May. "Wait." said Fern. "Was she a red unicorn?" "Yeah." said May, looking up. "How'd you know?" "Oh, no." said Fern, tears forming in her eyes. "I think I'm gonna be sick." She took off towards the bathroom. "What was that about?" asked Dawn. "I'll go see." said May. May got up from the chair and went to the bathroom to check on Fern. She found her vomiting in the toilet. "Are you okay?" asked May. "No." said Fern. "What's wrong?" asked May. "I thought I recognized you the moment I saw you." said Fern. "What are you talking about?" "Remember?" asked Fern. "You came to my store looking for Strawberry. I told you..." "You have to go. She's dead." said May. "I'm sorry." said Fern, crying. "I'm so sorry." "How'd..." May cleared her throat. "How'd she die?" "I shouldn't say." said Fern. "Please." said May. "She was my best friend." "Exactly." "Please." said May. "Tell me." "It was... Pinkamena." May took a step back. "What?" she asked, softly. "She made me send Strawberry to the basement where she... she... oh, God." She threw up some more in the toilet. "What happened?" "She ate her." "She..." said May. She stumbled backwards and bumped into Pinkie. May spun around. "You girls okay?" she asked. "I HATE YOU!" yelled May, crying. All the ponies stared at her. "May..." said Pinkie. "I..." May took off, heading to her room. "What did I do?" "Oh, Pinkie." said Twilight, softly. "I'm gonna talk to her." said Pinkie. "First door on the right." said Dawn. Pinkie headed up the stairs and entered May's room. She was on her bed, crying. "May?" asked Pinkie. "What's wrong?" "Nothing!" cried May. "Just go!" "Come on. Tell me." May quickly stood up and turned to face Pinkie. "YOU ATE MY BEST FRIEND!" "I what?" asked Pinkie. "You ate Strawberry! Fern told me all about it. How could you?" "May, I..." Pinkie started to cry. "I didn't--" "You didn't mean to? You didn't know? Just go." "May." "GO!" yelled May. Pinkie backed out of the room. "What have I done?" Pinkie asked herself. She headed back downstairs and was greeted by Fern. "Hey." she said. "Did I really... you know?" asked Pinkie. "Yeah." said Fern. "Look, I'm sorry I said anything." "No, no, no." said Pinkie. "It's best she knew who she was hanging out with. I just wish I could go back and change the past. It's like I'm already dead." "What do you mean?" asked Fern. "If I was as bad as you say, then I'm technically a fugitive being here. The Royal Guard must be looking for me." "What are you gonna do?" asked Fern. Pinkie thought for a second. "I got it." "Great. What?" "I'm gonna turn myself in." "What?" asked Fern. Pinkie walked passed her and entered the living room. Every pony looked at her. "I'm gonna turn myself in." she said. There was a silence. No one knew what to say. Just then Twilight spoke. "Really?" "Yeah." said Pinkie. "Why?" asked Twilight. "I figured I should just let the Royal Guard take me before I snap again. Besides, I don't deserve my freedom. Not after what I've done." She looked at Rainbow Dash. "Can you let Princess Celestia know where I am?" "I can, but..." said Dash. "Do it." Dash slowly got out of her chair and headed to the front door. She opened and took off for Canterlot. "I feel weird saying this, but..." said Rarity. "I'm going to miss you. "The new you, anyway." said Applejack. "Thanks girls." said Pinkie. "I'll miss you, too." > A Death Wish > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pinkie Pie stood outside Dawn's house, waiting for the Royal Guard. Twilight walked up next to her. "You sure you want to go through with this?" she asked. "Yeah." said Pinkie. "I think it's best to do it now before I turn evil again. I just hope I don't snap in Canterlot." "I'm gonna miss you, Pinkie." said Fern, coming up behind them. Pinkie and Twilight turned around. "I liked hanging out with the new you." "Thanks." said Pinkie. "It was fun getting to know all of you." Rainbow Dash landed behind Pinkie. Pinkie turned around. "They're coming." said Rainbow Dash, as Twilight turned around. "This is it, then." said Pinkie, looking back at the house. Dawn and Macy came to join them. Fern gave Pinkie a hug. Pinkie hugged her back. "So, this is it." said Macy. "Yeah." said Pinkie. "This is it." "I wish you didn't have to go." said Fern. "But I do." said Pinkie. "I've done to much." A couple royal guards landed behind Rainbow Dash. Celestia was with them. They had another chariot with them. A guard pulled Pinkie away from Fern. "No!" yelled Fern. Rainbow Dash held her back. "There's nothing we can do." Pinkie followed the guard to the chariot. She took a look back and saw May in the doorway of Dawn's house. They made brief eye contact before the guards put chains around Pinkie's legs and put her into the chariot. "Great work." said Celestia. "We'll make sure she won't escape again." Celestia got in the chariot beside Pinkie and the guards took off. Pinkie sat quietly, not moving. "You seem unusually quiet." said Celestia. "I'm just thinking of my friends." said Pinkie. She closed her eyes and sighed. "What's going on?" asked Celestia. "I have a favor to ask of you." said Pinkie. Celestia said nothing. "I want you to kill me." This caught Celestia off guard. "Excuse me?" she asked. "I've done to much to be able to live." explained Pinkie. "Please. Just kill me before I turn." "Pinkie." said Celestia. "Please, Princess." said Pinkie. "I don't wanna harm any more ponies." She started to cry. "If that's what you want." said Celestia. "It is." said Pinkie. Pinkie went back to sitting quietly as they approached Canterlot Castle. > Pinkamena's Escape > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- A guard opened the cell door and Pinkie walked in. He closed the door behind her and Celestia approached the bars. "You're very brave for going through with this." said Celestia. "I'm only doing what's right." said Pinkie. "It's a shame this happened to you." said Celestia. "Your friends seem to care about you despite what you've done. "They're the best friends anypony could ever have." Celestia left Pinkie and headed back to the throne room. She was on her way up the steps to her throne when Twilight and the others burst through the front doors. "Where's Pinkie?" asked Twilight, skidding to a stop. "We have to see her." Celestia approached Twilight. "Twilight Sparkle." said Celestia. "It pains me to have to tell you this but Pinkie's going to be... put to death." "What?" asked Twilight. "How could you--" "It was her choice." said Celestia. "She wants to die." "Is she still alive?" asked Fern. "Yes." said Celestia. "But not for very much longer. If you want to see her you should see her now." "Thank you." said Twilight. She and her friends all headed to the dungeons of the castle where Pinkie Pie was being held. "Pinkie!" said Twilight, spotting her in a cell. They approached the bars of the cell. "Pinkie." said Fern. "Thank goodness we got to you in time." "Thanks for coming, girls." said Pinkie. "Of course." said Twilight. "Where... where's May?" asked Pinkie, looking around. "She... she stayed behind." said Twilight. May sat on her bed, thinking about past events. Pinkie let out a sad sigh. "I really wanted to apologize for what I did." May left her room and headed outside. She looked up at the sky, closed her eyes, and took in a deep breath. "Though I know there's no way she could ever forgive me." said Pinkie. "I can't even forgive myself." May took off running. She left Trottingham and headed through the forest. "Pinkie." said Twilight sympathetically. "Why did this have to happen to me?" asked Pinkie, crying. "It's time." said a guard stepping behind the group. The group parted, letting the guard through. He opened the door and Pinkie stepped out. The guard led her down the hall. Pinkie looked back at her friends. They all looked sad. Fern, Fluttershy, Dawn, and Twilight were crying. Pinkie held back tears as the guard led her into a room where two other guards were waiting. The others returned to the throne room. "So, this is Pinkamena." said one of the guards, stepping forward. He had on better looking armor than the others. He must be the Captain. "You killed my guards." he said. "So, before we dispatch you, we're going to have a little fun." He kicked her in the legs, causing her to collapse to the floor. "What was that--" Pinkie started. She was interrupted when the Captain kicked her in the face. "Get me the pliers." said the Captain. One of the guards went to a table in the room and picked up some pliers. He then dropped them in front of the Captain. The Captain slid his hooves into the handles and opened them. "Hold her mouth open." he ordered. The guard that handed him the pliers knelt down behind Pinkie and pressed on the sides of her mouth, forcing it open. "You killed my guards with this metal tooth." said the Captain. "Now... the tooth is mine." "What metal tooth?" Pinkie mumbled. Tears were falling from her eyes and she was shaking. "This one." said the guard, reaching the pliers into her mouth and grabbing the metal tooth. He squeezed hard and twisted the pliers back and forth. Pinkie squealed in pain as blood squirted out from her gums. The Captain then yanked as hard as he could, pulling the tooth out. He and the guard stood up. Pinkie rolled over on her stomach, holding her mouth. Blood filled up inside and she spit it out. "Now for the next step." said the guard, dragging Pinkie over to the back wall. There was a wooden plank stuck horizontally about two-and-a-half feet above the floor. A spike stuck out on the left and right sides. The Captain threw Pinkie against the wall. He then raised each of her front legs and impaled them on the spikes. Pinkie let out a howl of pain as the spikes punctured her skin and emerged on the other side. Blood spilled out all over the floor. "This is pathetic." said the Captain, kneeling down in front of Pinkie. "WHERE IS SHE?!" he yelled. "WHERE's PINKAMENA?! WHERE'S THE ONE THAT KILLED MY MEN?!" Pinkie did nothing but cry. The guard let out a frustrated yell and stood up. He turned from Pinkie and took a couple steps forward. "Finish her." he said. The guard started to move forward when they heard a faint chuckle. The Captain turned to look at Pinkie. She chuckled again. This wasn't a happy chuckle. This was the kind of chuckle that sent a shiver down your spine. "You wanted Pinkamena?" asked Pinkie. "You wanted the one who killed your men?" Pinkie looked up. The fear on her face was replaced with fury. ""Well, here I am." "Quick!" yelled the Captain. "Kill her!" A guard moved in on Pinkie. She flung her front legs off the spikes and lunged at the guard. She dug her teeth into his neck. Blood spilled out everywhere and he fell down. Dead. The other guard took a step back as Pinkie ran at him. He held up his hooves as Pinkie lunged at his face. She bit a chunk out of his leg. He then let out a yell as Pinkie slipped behind him and bit the back of his neck. He fell to the floor. Also dead. The Captain ran at Pinkie with the pliers in his mouth. Pinkie lunged at him. He stepped to the side, dropped the pliers, and slid his hoof into the handle. Pinkie spun around as the Captain stabbed Pinkie in the seam on her leg where the skin met her hoof. She let out a scream of pain and pulled back. She took one last look at the Captain before quickly limping out of the room. "Oh, no you don't." said the Captain, following her into the hall. He looked down the hallway but didn't see her. Just then he felt teeth dig into his back leg. He let out a cry of pain as he fell to the floor. Pinkie stepped over him and limped towards the throne room. May burst through the front doors of the castle and saw Twilight and the others gathered in the center of the throne room. "Can't anypony knock anymore?" asked Luna, standing next to Celestia at the top of the stairs. "Sorry, princesses." said May, out of breath. "Am I too late?" she asked, stopping in front of Twilight. "Yeah." said Twilight sympathetically. "I'm sorry." May let out a sigh of discontent. "Did you run all the way here?" asked Trixie. "Had to." said May. "I don't know how to teleport yet." Just then Pinkie burst through one of the side doors. Celestia and Luna both looked. "Not again." said Celestia, annoyed. Luna ran down the stairs and stood between Pinkie and the others. "You will not hurt these ponies." said Luna. "I don't want them." said Pinkie, keeping off her injured hoof and leaning against the wall. "Not yet, anyway." "Then why are you still here?" asked Celestia. "You mean why am I still alive?" she asked. "Your Royal Guards tortured me." "They wouldn't." said Celestia. "Oh, but they did." laughed Pinkie. "And now, they're all gonna die." "QUICK!" yelled Celestia. "Somepony grab her!" Luna made a move but Pinkie darted towards the front door. "See ya later!" she yelled. Celestia let out an angry yell. "NOT... AGAIN! > May Visits Pinkamena > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Celestia burst through the front doors of the castle and stood outside. She had never felt more angry in her life. Bodies of dead ponies lay on the ground, covered in blood. "THAT DOES IT!" she yelled. "PINKIE NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!" Celestia turned and marched back inside. May hung her head in sadness. "Oh, Pinkie." she said. She then had a thought. A crazy thought. She thought about her decision over and over in her head until she made her choice. She took off out the door and ran through the courtyard. Twilight quickly stepped outside. "May!" she yelled, frantically trying to get her back. "May!" May didn't pay attention. She just kept running. Rainbow Dash and the others joined Twilight outside. "What's going on?" asked Trixie. "May's gone." said Twilight, taking a deep breath. "Probably after Pinkie." "Oh, mah gosh." said Applejack. "She have any idea what she's getting herself into?" "Apparently not." said Twilight, taking a couple steps forward. "We have to go after her." "We do?" asked Fluttershy. "Isn't that... you know... dangerous?" she asked with a somewhat frightened expression. "It probably is." said Twilight. "But she's our friend. We have to go." May arrived in a forest near Canterlot and kept running. She eventually burst through into a clearing. She looked around and saw two ponies, a mare and a colt, sitting together at a campsite. They looked up at May. "Hello." said May, panting. She was out of breath from running. "Uh... hi." said the colt. "You didn't happen to see a pink pony run through here, did you?" "Actually, we did." said the mare. "She ran over there." She pointed to a spot ahead of May. "Thanks." said May, taking off. After a few more feet she arrived at yet another clearing. This one was larger and was right next to the mountain where Canterlot is located. There was a lake in the center of the clearing and a cave in the mountain. May turned to her left and headed for the cave. She looked at the lake as she passed it. It looked shallow around the sides, but deep in the center. She turned back to the cave, fearing every step she took towards it. She really didn't want to do this but she felt as though she had to. She now stood at the mouth of cave. After taking a deep breath, she headed inside. It got darker the further she went but there was always a bit of light, shining through the openings in the roof. "Pinkie!" she called out, her voice echoing off the walls. "Are you--" She was interrupted by a figure darting out off the darkness and pinning her to the cave wall. IT was, of course, Pinkamena. She opened her mouth, ready to take a bite out of May, but stopped. She pulled back and stared at May. "Oh." she said, sounding annoyed. "It's you." "Pinkie..." May said sympathetically. "Why are you here?" Pinkie asked. "What's happened to you?" "What's happened to me?" asked Pinkie, laughing. "You were so nice before. And now..." Pinkie let out another laugh that echoed off the walls. "You must have me confused with Pinkie Pie." Pinkie let go of May and moved in close to her face. "I'm Pinkamena." she said, sounding ominous. "And I'm dangerous." She turned and started to walk away. "I don't believe that." said May, trying to sound brave. Pinkie stopped walking and looked back. Shadows covered her entire body, except for her narrowed eyes. "And I'm not scared of you." said May shakily. "Really?" asked Pinkie. She turned and walked back to May. May backed up against the wall as Pinkie moved in close, her face filled with fear. Pinkie smiled. "You are scared of me. Good." Her smile faded. "You should be. I've done things that would give you nightmares." Pinkie examined May's frightened expression and smiled again. "You look just like Strawberry did... before I killed her." May felt her fear turn to anger. "And when I sunk my teeth into her flesh..." she licked her lips. "Delicious." May let out a yell and fired a bolt from her horn. Pinkie stepped to the side to avoid it. May then lunged at Pinkie, but Pinkie placed a hoof on May's forehead and threw her into the cave wall. Her head slammed against the stone and she collapsed to the ground. She let out a moan of pain as Pinkie knelt down in front of her. "Looks like I touched a nerve." Pinkie said with sarcastically sympathetic tone. "Listen up, girl." she said, her tone becoming more ominous. "Don't ever cross me again. I will kill you." She stood up an turned to walk away. "And don't worry. When I'm finished with the guards, I'll kill the rest of your friends." May let out another groan and decided to just lay and not move. she thought about Strawberry again and started to cry. "Oh, Strawberry." she said softly. "I miss you so much." She looked up and caught Pinkie's tail disappearing into the darkness. May then felt this sudden wave of nausea. Probably from hitting her head. She decided not to fight it so she closed her eyes and fell asleep. > "You Kissed Me?!" > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight and the others arrived at the base of the mountain, near the forest Pinkie was hiding out in. They looked around but saw nothing. "We need to split up." said Twilight, sounding like a commander in the army. The others nodded and separated, off to search for May. May awoke when she felt water splash her face. She blinked a couple times to erase the feeling of fatigue and looked around. She was laying next to the lake outside the cave. "Wake-y, wake-y." said Pinkie Pie in a fake playful voice. May looked at her and noticed that she was covered in blood. Especially around her mouth. "Am... am I dead?" asked May, still a little drowsy. Pinkie let out a short chuckle. "Well, I haven't eaten you, if that's what you mean." She lowered herself into the shallow part of the lake and hung on to the edges with her front legs. She then closed her eyes and sighed. May suddenly had a thought; this could be the perfect time to drown Pinkie. She thought and thought about and then decided against it. Pinkie would probably just overpower her anyway. Pinkie opened one eye and looked at May. She could see that May was thinking about something. She also figured out what by the look on May's face. Pinkie let out an evil chuckle. "A perfect opportunity to take me down. Why not take it?" she asked inquisitively. "How'd you--" "I can tell." Pinkie sad. "So? Why?" May let out a sigh. "You'd probably just kill me before I got the chance." Pinkie let out another little laugh and closed her eye. "You're probably right." Just then she heard a noise and opened her eyes. "What's that?" "What's what?" asked May. "Voices." said Pinkie. "They're coming." "Who's--" Pinkie grabbed May's leg and pulled her underwater with her. The two now lay at the bottom of the lake in the deep part. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash emerged from the trees in the clearing. "Ah-ha!" said Rainbow Dash triumphantly. "A cave. She has to be there. Let's go!" "A c-c-c-cave?" asked Fluttershy. "Looks scary." "So, what do you want to do?" Down in the lake, Pinkie could feel herself running out of oxygen. She tried to think of what she could do to retrieve some air. Then, suddenly, a thought popped into her head. Though she knew it would feel weird, and she probably wouldn't like it, she did it anyway. "So, you want to return with the others. Is that it?" asked Rainbow Dash, getting annoyed at their lack of progress. "That'd be nice." flutter shy responded in her gentle tone. Rainbow Dash let out a frustrated groan. "Fine." she said, turning around. "Let's go find the others." "Oh, joy." said Fluttershy softly. The two left the clearing and headed back towards the castle. A minute passed after Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy left before Pinkamena and May emerged from the lake, gasping for air. They grabbed onto the sides of the lake and tried to catch their breath. "What was that?" May asked frantically. "What was what?" Pinkie asked, not really caring. "You kissed me!" Pinkie pulled herself out of the water. "And it wasn't a short one either." "Calm down." said Pinkie. "It wasn't a kiss." "Then what was it?" "I was running out of air." Pinkie explained. "So I shared yours." "Oh, really?" May asked, not really believing her. "Uh... yeah." said Pinkie. "Didn't they teach you about that in school?" "Not really." May said, still sounding freaked out. Pinkie gave her a smile. "Why would I kiss you? Even if you were a colt, why would I kiss you?" "Because you're a freak!" May yelled. "You were running out of air, too." Pinkie said, kneeling down in front of her. May was still in the lake. "I bet you liked it a little, anyway." "What?!" May yelled, now feeling a little violated. Pinkie laughed. "I'm kidding. Calm down, girl." May said nothing. "You ever planning on getting out of the water, Ariel?" May looked down and realized Pinkie was right. She was still in the lake. Pinkie stood and backed up as May pulled herself out of the water. "Isn't that better?" Pinkie asked in a fake playful voice. She let out a soft giggle. "Now what?" asked May, calming down a bit. "I'm getting hungry again." said Pinkie, licking her lips. "Again? You just ate two campers." "Now I need something sweet." said Pinkie. "Sweet like... Strawberry." May felt her anger returning. "I wonder if I'll ever find a pony that'll taste as sweet as Strawberry tasted." May lunged at Pinkie with a yell. Pinkie countered by kicking May in the legs and forcing her to the ground. May lay on her stomach with Pinkie holding her down. May grunted with effort but Pinkie was too strong. "Why haven't you killed me yet?" May asked. "Why?" Pinkie asked. "Because... I like your company." She released May and headed for the cave. "We need to be ready when the others come back." May was shocked. Did Pinkie really mean it when she said she enjoyed her company? Or was it sarcasm again? She couldn't tell this time. She could only hope for the best. > Hide And Seek > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Why do you do it?" May asked. She was standing back in the cave while Pinkie was keeping a lookout for Twilight and the others. "Do what?" "You know." May said, sounding a little nervous asking. "Eat ponies." Pinkie took another second to look out of the cave before turning and heading towards May. May took a step back, not knowing what Pinkie was going to do. "Don't worry." said Pinkie, sounding like a mom calming her child.. "I'm not gonna eat you." "Why not?" "I already told you." said Pinkie. "I like your company. "You... meant that?" May asked, feeling a little confused. "Of course." "Why?" Pinkie paused before answering. "Everypony needs a friend." "Yeah, but--" May started. Pinkie held a hoof to May's mouth to shut her up. When May stopped talking, Pinkie ran to the mouth of the cave and peeked out. Twilight and the others were emerging from the forest. Pinkie backed into the cave. "They're here." Pinkie said softly. Pinkie took off into the cave. "Come on." she whispered back. May thought about what to do until she realized something; Pinkie really needs a friend right now. So she took off after Pinkie. Twilight stepped into the cave and looked around. "It's really dark in there." said Fluttershy from the back of the group. "Not a problem." Twilight said, lighting up her horn. "Let's go." The group entered the cave and Trixie also lit up her horn. As did Rarity. They arrived at a part of the tunnel that started to get smaller and smaller until the friends had to walk in a straight line. "This is really tight." complained Rarity. "I think I may be claustrophobic." Dawn said through rapid breaths. "Just calm down, everypony." said Twilight. "This is the only path so far." "So?" asked Trixie, squeezing passed a tight spot in the tunnel. "May can't be far away." Twilight explained. "Yeah." said Rainbow Dash with a sarcastic happy tone. "And that means Pinkie the cannibal is close by, too." "You had to bring that up, didn't you?" asked Applejack, annoyed by Rainbow Dash's lack of caring for the current situation. "Get serious, RD." "I am serious!" Rainbow Dash shot back. "Girls!" yelled Twilight, stopping. "What?!" Rainbow Dash and Applejack yelled together. "Look." said Twilight. Everyone looked around and noticed that they were in a large caver-like room. Rock formations stuck out of the ground, walls, and ceiling. "Pinkie could be hiding anywhere in here." said Trixie, looking around at all the rock formations or, in this case, potential hiding spots. "Be on your guard, everypony." Twilight ordered, taking a couple steps into the cavern. The others split up and began searching the area. Trixie peered behind a rock formation ut saw nothing, She snuck up to another one and darted to the other side. Nothing. She then headed off for another one. Pinkie peered out from behind a rock formation towards the back of the cavern. She could see the others slowly approaching from different directions . Rainbow Dash was flying around near the ceiling looking down, surveying the area. "This is bad." Pinkie whispered. "Maybe you should just turn yourself in." May suggested. She was behind a rock formation a foot across from Pinkie's. "That's a good idea." Pinkie said sarcastically. "If I want to die." May peeked around her rock formation. "They're getting closer." "Yeah." Pinkie agreed. "And without my metal tooth, there's no way I can kill them all." "You still want to kill them?" May whispered. "Of course. It's what I do." May backed away from her hiding spot. She was now in plain view of the others. "What are you doing?" Pinkie asked. "Get back." May shook her head. "I'm sorry, Pinkie. I can't be your friend if all you care about is killing." "May..." Pinkie whispered. "Good-bye, Pinkie." said May, taking off for her friends. Pinkie let out a low growl and chased after her. "There she is!" yelled Rainbow Dash. Twilight and Trixie saw her instantly. "Run, May!" Trixie yelled. "She's gaining on you!" Pinkie was a couple feet behind May when Applejack darted out from behind a rock formation and tackled May to the ground. She covered May with her body expecting Pinkie to attack. She didn't. Instead, she leaped over Applejack and May and darted through the narrow passageway. "After her!" yelled Twilight, now in pursuit. She fired an energy bolt down the tunnel. It shot passed Pinkie's head and shattered part of the wall. Pinkie jumped over the debris and kept on running. She was nearing the end of the small passageway when Twilight fired again. This bolt struck the ground behind Pinkie's hooves, knocking her forward. She stumbled but managed to keep her balance. Pinkie was now back in the area near the cave opening. Twilight took careful aim and fired again. This time it was a hit. The bolt struck Pinkie on the side, knocking her into the wall. She hit her head hard against the cave wall and fell to the ground. She looked up at Twilight. The others were still making their way through the tunnel. "Stop this!" yelled Twilight. Pinkie slowly got back up. Her head was bleeding and there was also a cut on her side where Twilight's attack hit. The blood was pouring over her eyes and mouth. "THIS ISN'T OVER, TWILIGHT!" Pinkie yelled, her voice echoing off the stone surface. "YOU'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" The others finally made it to where Twilight was but it was too late. Pinkie had already stumbled out of the cave. Trixie ran out after her but couldn't see her. "NO!" she yelled. She turned to Twilight who was just exiting the cave. "She's escaped again." > A New Set Of Teeth > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pinkie pulled her head out of the lake and looked at her reflection. The blood was gone. She turned to her left and saw the entrance to Manehattan. She stood still for a couple more seconds before making her way to town. Twilight and the others finally emerged from the forest. They were back at Ponyville. "Where did she go?" asked Rainbow Dash, looking around. "I have no idea." said Trixie, a little confused. "I saw her go this way." "She must have changed direction in the forest to throw us off." Twilight suggested. "Yeah, probably." said Trixie. Just then Luna landed in front of them. "Princess?" asked Twilight, wondering what Luna was doing here. "Did you find her?" asked Luna. "No." said Twilight, sounding ashamed. "Sorry." Luna let out a frustrated sigh. "She's too dangerous to let roam around." said Luna. "We need to find her." Pinkie held the dentist unicorn against the wall of the dental room. "So, doc." said Pinkie with a smile. "will you do it?" "I guess I have no choice." the dentist responded, sounding extremely frightened. "Good boy." said Pinkie, letting the dentist go and sitting in the chair. "Do it." The dentist levitated a pair of pliers and positioned them above Pinkie's mouth. Pinkie opened wide and the doctor felt his heartbeat accelerate. I guess it's safe to say he was both extremely nervous and extremely frightened. He gripped one of Pinkie's teeth with the pliers and yanked on it. It didn't budge but it made Pinkie flinch a bit. "Again." Pinkie mumbled. The doctor wiped some sweat from his forehead and yanked again. The tooth broke free of the gums but was till attached by a couple roots. Blood squirted out and hit the doctor on the cheek. He flinched as the blood hit. A tear fell from Pinkie's eye. "Again!" she mumbled. The doctor yanked again. This time the tooth broke free and Pinkie let out a stifled yell of pain. Blood poured out from the empty space where her tooth used to be. She then looked the dentist square in the eye. "Again." Minutes later, all of Pinkie's teeth had been pulled out and both the dentist and herself were covered in blood. Pinkie kept her mouth closed as she pointed to a box she had brought with her. Before her visit to the dentist, she had visited a blacksmith and forced him to make her a box full of metal triangles. Then she ate him. Ah, good times. Anyways, back to the present. The dentist opened the box and levitated one of the triangles. Pinkie opened her mouth and nodded. The dentist took a deep breath and then plunged the triangle into the far top-right side of Pinkie's gums. She flinched a bit as the metal pierced her gums and another tear from her eye. The dentist shoved it deeper until it was wedged in there good. He repeated this process until Pinkie's mouth was filled with metal "teeth". She rubbed them with her tongue to feel how sharp they were. The verdict? Pretty sharp. "I wonder how good they work." she said, eyeing the dentist. He took a step back and Pinkie lunged from the chair, pinning him against the wall again. She opened wide and dug her new teeth into the dentist's neck. The damage done was far greater than what her normal teeth could ever achieve. Blood poured uncontrollably from the dentist's neck and Pinkie licked some of it up. "They work perfectly." she said, licking her lips. "Now... on to Ponyville." > Homecoming > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The captain of the Royal Guards burst through the front doors of the castle and ran up the stairs to Celestia and Luna. "Pinkie's been sighted in Manehattan!" he yelled. "Get your guards!" yelled Celestia. "Take her down!" "We may not have to." said the Captain. "She's headed this way!" Luna let out a tiny gasp as Celestia's eyes narrowed. "Form a blockade outside Ponyville. Don't let her through!" Pinkie lunged at a fleeing pony and ripped her neck apart. She dropped the carcass to the ground and licked the blood from her lips. She continued her way out of Manehattan, leaving about twenty dead bodies behind. She stuck on a straight path, headed directly back to Ponyville. It was starting to get dark out. "Get ready, Ponyville." she thought aloud. "You're all gonna die." The Royal Guards gathered outside Ponyville and formed a line. There were only twelve guards left that Pinkie hadn't eaten yet. Twilight and the others stood at the edge of Ponyville, watching the guards. "This is gonna be ugly." said Twilight. "You can say that again." said Rainbow Dash. "Those guards don't stand a chance." Celestia paced back and forth in the throne room while Luna watched. "This is it." said Celestia, sounding a little frightened. "She's coming." "What are you afraid of, big sister?" Luna asked. "The town is blocked off by the Royal Guard." "I have feeling..." said Celestia, stopping. "that it's not going to be enough." Pinkie came into a view of the Royal Guards stationed outside Ponyville. "There she is!" yelled the Captain. "Stop her at all costs!" The other guards let out a loud yell in agreement as Pinkie started to run at them. The guards got ready for the fight as Pinkie drew nearer and nearer. The Captain narrowed his eyes and thought about all the things he was going to do to her as payback for what she did. Pinkie was now a few feet away. "ATTACK!" yelled the Captain. The guards all charged. Pinkie lunged at one of the guards and dug her teeth into his neck. He died instantly. Pinkie ducked as another guard tried to punch her. She then slid to the side and bit the guard's leg off. He fell to the ground, bleeding all over the place. Pinkie then dug her teeth into his neck, killing him. The other guards took a step back. There were only ten left now. Pinkie licked the blood off her lips. "So, who's gonna be my next meal?" she asked with an evil expression on her face. The fires of Hell burned in her eyes. A guard tried to sneak up behind her, but she heard him. She whipped around and lunged at the guard. She dug her teeth in his face. He let out a scream as another guard attempted to help him. Pinkie ripped a chunk out of his face and then leaped at the approaching guard, She bit him on the side and tore a chunk out. She turned to the remaining eight guards. When none of them made an attempt to move, she darted at one. She dug her teeth into his face and twisted it, snapping his neck. He fell to the ground, obviously dead, and Pinkie leaped at another. After taking a chunk out of his neck one of the other guards made a move. He grabbed her and attempted to hold her down on the ground. But Pinkie was smarter. She bit him on the front leg, and then subsequently ripping it off. The guard yelled in pain and fell to the ground. Pinkie walked passed him. Another guard tried rushing her, but she ducked and bit his leg off. The remaining four backed further away. "She's got some kind of metal teeth." said one of the guards. "We don't stand a chance!" "Just GET HER!" yelled the Captain. The four took a deep breath and charged. Pinkie took them down in less than a minute. This now left the Captain. "It's just you and me, now." said Pinkie. The Captain was a little afraid now. He took a step back and made no attempt to attack. "Afraid?" asked Pinkie, smiling. Her metal teeth glistening in the moonlight. "Big mistake." She rushed the captain and lunged at him. He was barely able to make a sound before metal teeth dug into his flesh. Pinkie tore his legs off one-by-one by gnawing at his flesh with her metal teeth. He screamed in great agony as he bled to death. Pinkie knelt down and licked up some of the blood. She then stood back up and sighed. "Revenge never tasted sweeter." She looked at Ponyville and saw Twilight and the others. "Now, it's your turn." > Final Confrontations > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pinkie stood about two feet from Twilight and the others. "Now, it's just us." she said. "I'm sorry it had to come to this." said Twilight. "Don't apologize." said Pinkie. "Just DIE!" She charged the group. "Evasive maneuvers!" yelled Rainbow Dash, taking to the sky. The others split up. Trixie turned around and threw a cart from the market at Pinkie. Pinkie jumped to the side as the cart smashed into the ground. Rainbow Dash attempted to dive-bomb Pinkie. She rammed Pinkie in the side and flew back up. Pinkie let out a low growl as she stood back up. "Hey!" "WHAT?!" yelled Pinkie, turning around. "You looked." said Dawn. She used her magic to throw a barrel. It struck Pinkie Pie in the side, knocking her back on the ground. She slowly got up and looked around. She was breathing heavily in anger. "This is getting real old real fast!" she yelled. Applejack ran up behind her and tried to kick her. Pinkie turned around and tackled her to the ground. She opened her mouth, revealing her new set of teeth. "What the--" said Applejack, holding Pinkie's head to keep her teeth away. "What happened to your teeth?" "Applejack!" yelled Twilight, coming to the rescue. "Careful!" yelled Applejack as Pinkie whipped around. "She's got metal teeth!" "Say what?" asked Twilight, skidding to a stop in front of Pinkie. "Oh." she said, seeing Pinkie's teeth. "Well, that's just weird." Pinkie let out a yell and attempted to charge Twilight, but Twilight fired a bolt at her. The attack knocked Pinkie into a nearby building. She crashed through the wall and landed inside. Twilight helped Applejack up. "What has she done to herself?" asked Applejack. "I'm not sure." said Twilight. "But that monster is no longer Pinkie Pie." "So, you wanna... kill her?" asked Applejack. Twilight let out a sigh. "There may not be another choice." May backed up into a space between two nearby buildings. The door to the building that Pinkie crashed into suddenly. Pinkie stepped out and walked down the front steps She had cuts all over her body. A part of her mane was stained with blood. She sloshed some blood in her mouth and spit it out. "Nice try." she said. She ran at Twilight but was tackled to the ground by Fern. "YOU!" yelled Pinkie. "How ya doin', Pinkie?" asked Fern with a smile. "Hey... what's wrong with your mouth?" "I upgraded." Pinkie said, returning Fern's smile. "Now I'll be able to kill you faster than before." Pinkie tried to bite Fern's arm, but Fern pulled away just in time. This gave Pinkie the chance she needed to flip Fern off of her. So, she took it. She knocked Fern off and stood up. "This is getting repetitive." said Pinkie, frustrated. "Just stay still and let me KILL YOU!" Rainbow Dash shot out of the sky and rammed into Pinkie, sending her tumbling across the ground. Rainbow Dash then landed next to Twilight. "This is starting to get dangerous." said Rainbow Dash. "Now, she's starting to get even angrier." "THAT DOES IT!" Pinkie yelled, getting up. She turned and looked at Macy. She was standing in front of a nearby building. "YOU'RE FIRST!" She charged straight for Macy. Rainbow Dash dropped down in her way but was knocked aside. Pinkie was like a bull. Nothing could stop her. Macy barely had time to move before Pinkie rammed into her and pinned her against the side of the building. "Time to die." said Pinkie, smiling. She opened her mouth, revealing her metal teeth. Macy closed her eyes, waiting for the end. > A Sad Good-Bye > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pinkie was about to kill Macy when May appeared. "STOP!" she yelled, throwing a hoof around Pinkie and holding her. "DON'T DO IT!" Pinkie slowly closed her mouth and let Macy go. "May..." said Pinkie. "STOP ALL THIS!" May cried. Twilight was shocked by the scene. She suddenly saw a part of the old Pinkie in Pinkamena's eyes. They looked sad. "May... I..." she whipped around and tackled May to the ground. "have to." She opened her mouth and dug her teeth in May's chest. May let out a yell of pain. Macy leaped at Pinkie, knocking her to the ground. "PINKIE!" she yelled. "STOP THIS! WHY ARE YOU EVEN DOING THIS?!" "BECAUSE!" yelled Pinkie, crying. "I HAVE NO FRIENDS! AND THE ONLY FRIENDS I HAD BETRAYED ME! DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S IT LIKE TO GROW UP WITH NO FRIENDS?! IT'S HORRIBLE! I HATED IT!" "YOU DO HAVE FRIENDS NOW! LOOK AROUND!" Pinkie looked at all of her old friends as well as her new friends. "THEY ALL CARE ABOUT YOU! EVEN AFTER YOU BECAME THIS MONSTER! AND THE ONLY ONE WILLING TO FORGIVE YOU IS NOW LYING RIGHT THERE, BLEEDING TO DEATH BECAUSE OF YOU!" Pinkie looked at May and a tear fell from her eye. "May..." she said softly. Pinkie covered her eyes and started to cry. "It's working." Twilight said softly. "It sure is." responded Applejack. "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE!" cried Pinkie. She took a deep breath and started to calm down. "There's only one thing left to do." "What's that?" asked Macy. "Kill me." This request caught everyone off guard. "What?" asked Macy, shocked by what Pinkie said. "Kill me." Pinkie started crying again. "Kill me before I get the chance to turn again." Macy hesitated but eventually levitated a piece from one of the smashed carts and brought it over. She held it above Pinkie's chest. "Hurry." said Pinkie. "Do it." "Pinkie..." "You have to." pleaded Pinkie. "I don't wanna kill anymore." "No, Pinkie. I--" Pinkie's eyes narrowed and she opened her mouth. She sat up to try and bite Macy's face. Macy took a deep breath and plunged the wooden splinter into Pinkie's stomach. The angry expression on Pinkie's face became sad again. "Thank you." she said, falling back down. Her breathing turned raspy as she lay on the ground with a wooden splinter in her chest. Macy got off of her and the others gathered around Pinkie and May. Everyone had tears in their eyes. "Rainbow Dash?" asked Pinkie, weakly. "Yeah?" Rainbow Dash said, kneeling down next to Pinkie. "I'm here." "I'm sorry. For everything." She paused as she coughed up a little blood. "I shouldn't have hurt you. Your my friend." She looked around at all of her friends. "You're all my friends. And Fern..." Fern knelt down next to Rainbow Dash. "Yeah?" she asked, crying. "I'm sorry I made you do all those things. And I'm especially sorry that you had to help me kill May's friend." She coughed up a little more blood. "That was my greatest regret." Pinkie felt as though she was going to die at any moment. So she grabbed the wooden splinter and yanked it out of her. She placed a hoof over the wound and scooted closer to May. She then held out her free hoof and placed it on May's hoof. She then looked into May's eyes, and May looked back into hers. "May..." Pinkie started. "Back in the cave..." She coughed up more blood. "Killing wasn't the only thing I cared about." May started to cry harder when she realized what she meant. "Oh, Pinkie." "Please." said Pinkie, choking on her last bit of air. "Forgive m..." Pinkie's last breath escaped her lips and her whole body became limp. A final tear escaped her eye as they closed. Forever. The night had fallen quiet. The only sound that could be heard were the cries of those who just lost a friend. Celestia stood out on a balcony of Canterlot Castle, observing what was going on in Ponyville. A tear fell from her eye, too. She smiled and turned, heading back into the castle. > The Funeral > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next morning found Twilight and her friends gathered in a field just outside Ponyville. They all stood around a gravestone. The atmosphere and tone of the current situation was most definitely a sad one. Fern knelt down in front of the gravestone. "Oh, Pinkie." she said, wiping a tear from her cheek. "I'm glad I got to know the real you before the end. I just wish we could have hung out some more." A couple tears fell from her eyes before she let it all out. "WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS?!" Dawn knelt down with Fern and hugged her. The two cried and cried. "Who knew it would end this way?" asked Twilight. "It just seems so... unreal." "I know what ya mean." said Applejack. "I just can't believe she's gone." "You got a chance to hang out with her when she was in psycho mode. Right, Macy?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Yeah. Macy responded. "Me and Fern." "How was it?" "A little creepy at first." said Macy, tears falling from her eyes. "But then her good side showed and I felt sorry for her." Macy started to thought about the past. Macy?" Fern asked, turning around. Pinkie was standing in the doorway. She wasn't covered in blood, though. She then stepped to the side and another pony appeared in the doorway. It was Macy. Fern let out a heavy sigh of relief. "I thought you were gonna eat her." said Fern as Macy sat down at the table. "I was." said Pinkie. "Well, why didn't you?" asked Fern. Pinkie said nothing. "Because you knew she was my friend." she said, siting down next to Macy. "You couldn't do it." Pinkie shifted her eyes to the right. "So, there is some good in you, after all." "Good times." said Macy. "Thinking about the past?" asked Rainbow Dash. "I sure am. "I think I'll give it a try." Rainbow Dash began thinking about the past. "What are you going to do?" asked Rarity. "You'll see." said Pinkie Pie, not taking her eyes off of Bubbles. "But Bubbles won't." She drove the scalpel into the eye socket of Bubbles' left eye. She let out a high-pitched scream as Pinkie Pie plucked out her eye. It fell out and rolled on the floor. Pinkie Pie then cut Bubbles' ropes. Bubbles backed against the wall, screaming in pain and holding her empty eye socket. "NO!" Rainbow Dash screamed. "Bubbles." she said more softly. Rarity started to cry. Pinkie Pie stabbed the lose eye with the scalpel. She then... "Not a good memory." said Rainbow Dash. "Let me try another one." "What are you doing?" asked Rainbow Dash with tears in her eyes. "I told you." said Pinkie Pie, lining up the scalpel with Rainbow Dash's cutie mark. "I need a few more ingredients." Pinkie applied pressure to the scalpel, penetrating Dash's skin. Blood squirted out onto Pinkie's face. Rainbow Dash let out a loud cry of pain. Pinkie Pie continued to cut around Rainbow Dash's cutie mark. Blood was gushing out of the wound as Pinkie Pie peeled the loose skin off of Dash's thigh. Pinkie didn't cut it all the way so the skin was attached to Dash's body by a thin piece of skin. Pinkie yanked as hard as she could, tearing the skin off and... "Perhaps I should just stay in the present." said Rainbow Dash with a sigh. "Well, I'm heading to the hospital." said Dawn. "I promised May I'd visit her." "See ya, later." said Twilight. Dawn headed off to the hospital as the others continued to mourn for their lost friend.
