a love story about to ponies from different towns but a place to meet in one town brings em together
SilverHoof a bar-stallion from canterlot, DarkMint from manehatten. both from different cities. SilverHoof who works in canterlot finds life short lived by his over stubborn boss and is forced to leave the city. DarkMint a mare who wants to make a living in a small town. they will both see things differently as both will be tested and maybe find love. they will have trails and tribulations as they go along the way.
A day in the richest part of Canterlot; well it is to be expected, as I am a bartender in a slum bar. Well, my day turns out to be good for me, considering my boss is a horse’s ass to say the least, but hey, the bits are good, so I could care less about what he says.
“Silver! We need 2 round robin vodka mixes, now! On the double!”
The best part of my job, is making my favorite drink for one of my best customers in Canterlot; which he pays me extra well for, considering he orders 2 when he gets the time to come in.
A round robin vodka mix is a blended vodka with 2 types of liquor of the customers choice, so the obvious would be a berry soda and a hint of moonshine with a pinch of lemon to give it the maximum taste with the vodka. 'Yeah, I love my job but the boss doesn't help at all'. As I took time to fix the drink, I noticed that a lot of the customers that normally show up, are nowhere to be seen.
“Hey boss, where are our regulars? It seems dead in here tonight...”
“Well, most are at the Royal wedding, so they aren't here.”
“Hmm. Okay. Just wondering.” I replied as I brought Mr. Shiners his vodka mix, and he rewarded me with a hefty bunch of bits for my trouble.
So this is my life as a barkeep; kind of depressing really. I have no marefriend at all, since most mares don’t even look my way, due to my social status and looks. I do not care to say the least, but it's their loss, so I take it as I go. While I make a decent living, Canterlot is not the place I want to live, since it is far from the perfect home I've always dreamed of.
“Silver Hoof! Stop day dreaming! Damn! You seriously need to stop and pay attention!” His boss yelled.
I think I went deaf! Gee, thanks a bunch for that!
“Well, you're lucky you're the only decent barkeep I've got, or I would have fired you by now!”
“Seriously boss, I do more than my fair share of work around here, and all I want is a little slack! I've been up for 34 hours so far without any sleep!”
“Well, that's no excuse! Even with sleep, you daydream a great deal, and it is making me want fire your sorry ass! You know what? I've got one for you Silver; You're fired! Just leave and don’t come back!” He shouted.
“Wow, seriously? Why me?” Silverhoof said as he left the bar, without a glance back, noticing a large amount of bits for him as he left the building, entering the streets of Canterlot.
An hour later, he reached his apartment; a fairly decent size for what it's worth. Unlocking the door, he noticed a package addressed to him from his boss.
“Hmm. Why a package all of a sudden?”
He then took note that an envelope was there, with the words 'leave town or I will make you leave this place in a heart beat.
Well, some letter... And let me guess, it's tickets to go wherever I please. Well, thanks for nothing, you damned foal of an idiot. I can't believe this horse-feathers for one stinking minute!
Meanwhile, in Ponyville...
Darkmint, a mare that just arrived in Ponyville, is looking for a place to set up a bar:
Where is the city hall? She thought to herself. I swear I am more lost here, than being in Manehattan! Ugh, I hate small places. She made her way until she saw the city hall sign.
"Finally! It took me long enough!" She thought out loud.
Taking a small step, she knocked on the door with her hoof, and a small, old earth pony answer the door,
“Ah, you must be Mayor Mare. I'm Darkmint; it's a pleasure to meet you.”
“Oh yes.” The mayor replied. “I was told to expect you sometime, but I am shocked to see that you came so early.”
“Well I can thank a fast train called Rainbow Dash; or should I say pegasus.” Darkmint replied with a chuckle.
“Oh you’re a friend of Dash, huh? Well, I think you will like Ponyville a lot.” The mayor said with a smile.
“I do hope so; I really love the city, but I want to make a business somehow, so I'll take what I can get.”
“I think that is perfectly fine miss Mint, so if you're ready we should be on our way.”
After walking around town, the Mayor stopped at one not so empty lot, with a nice building that was empty.
“Will this work for what you want? The mayor asked.
“Yes, it's perfect.” Darkmint responded with a nod. “I'm glad you saved it for me. I mean, really, it was probably hard to keep it all locked up.”
“Yes, well I made a request to a unicorn, Twilight Sparkle, who kindly set a magic ward up so no one could get in.”
“Hmm. Very impressive! Do you mind if we go in and look around?” Darkmint asked with enthusiasm.
“Yes, by all means!” Mayor Mare responded cheerfully.
Following the mayor, Darkmint was looking around as they stepped into the main hallway.
“Wow, its semi furnished already? She asked. “That makes things easier for me to set up here.
“Yes. The floor plan was an original design, and took a lot of stallions to make it right, but I believe you have ponies coming in tomorrow to help you set up the place?”
“Yes. I'm going to make this place as perfect as I can for everypony.” Darkmint replied with determination. “The bar is going to be big, made of a great wood; and I believe since it's Zap Apple season, I'm going to be making some damn good cider, once it's harvest time. I also know that I can’t wait to get started, but I will have to wait. For now, I need some sleep. But I'm not sure where I'm going to stay...”
“You can stay at my house for the time being, if that is okay with you.” Mayor Mare said as the pair made their way out of the soon-to-be bar.
“That sounds marvellous!” Darkmint replied with a smile, as they both headed toward the mayor's home.
Back at Canterlot Station.
After 2 hours of packing, Silverhoof made his way to the train station.
“I hate that I am being kicked out of Canterlot thanks to my boss, but this is kinda stupid getting a guard escort as well...”
ALL ABOARD FOR PONYVILLE!
'Well, that’s my train. It will take 2 days or so to get there; considering they make 2 stops or so before they reach the destination.' He mused.
He took a step into the train, making his way into a empty cart, which he was lucky to find at this rate.
'Wow, these cars are full! I wonder how many of these ponies are heading to Ponyville? And I wonder what kind of place it is... I'm far from excited, but I'm not complaining, either I suppose.'
Setting his stuff down, and making himself comfortable for the long 2 day ride, Silverhoof sighed. Keeping from being bored will be hard he thought."I hope to meet a special somepony in Ponyville... I'm feeling a bit lonely...”
“First stop Trottingham, and then Cloudsdale! Our final stop will be Ponyville, so keep in your carts everypony!” The attendant said to the ponies through a microphone.
“So 2 stops, then Ponyville. Sounds like a blast; and I get to see Cloudsdale as well! That will be a treat in itself!” He said aloud to himself, attracting the attention of another pony.
“So your heading to Ponyville, huh? Wow, another one meets an end, I see.”
“Who are you?” Silverhoof asked the stranger.
“I'm Stormcrusher. I'm part of the weather team responsible for helping Ponyville and Cloudsdale, and a good friend of Rainbow Dash.”
“I'm Silverhoof; it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm new to going to Ponyville; considering I'm from Canterlot.”
“So what brings you to a town like Ponyville?” The pegasus asked.
“My boss fired me, and had me booted from Canterlot for no reason. So here I am, on my way to Ponyville.”
“That sucks. I know how it is; getting kicked out of Canterlot. I was kicked out twice, in fact. It was a real blast the second time around.” The pegasus added with a chuckle.
“Let me guess - you're the one who raided the castle and tried to kiss Princess Luna?”
“Yep, that was me! Wow, news travels fast; I guess I did not expect anyone to remember that at all!” The pegasus said with a hearty laugh.
“Believe me, all the drunks I deal with, you wouldn't believe the stories I hear all the time.” Silverhoof said with a sigh
“That's true.” The pegasus said. “I love my drinks; especially vodka and moonshine! Best combination ever! Wait a second...Silverhoof? Whoa! I didn’t realize it was you!” The pegasus said with complete surprise
“Mr. Shiners? Is that you?” Silverhoof said, taken completely aback.
“Yep, it sure is! Wow so the boss kicked your ass outta the bar, and Canterlot? That's a rough thing for him to do!” he said with slight disappointment. “Not to worry though, Ponyville is fine; trust me. I'll make sure you are welcomed with open arms.
“Thanks, that means a lot to me.” Silver said as they chatted for hours on end.
Back at the tavern bar.
Two days had passed, and not much had happened, besides the construction ponies that were helping with the building; not to mention the fact that a certain pink pony made sure that she would be welcomed
As I was making my way through town, I was stopped by a pink pony, who I could swear was on some messed up drugs and sugar if I saw it,
“OHMGOSHOMGOSH A NEW FACE!” She rambled on about how she knew everypony, and that she was going to throw a party for me; since I was new in town.
“Um, ok, I appreciate it. I'm sure I'd like a party but first I have to get to Sweet Apple Acres to talk to a miss Applejack, I believe.”
“I can take you to see her!” The hyper pink mare replied. “Applejack is one of my friends here in town! I'd be more than happy to take you!”
Well, thanks; that makes me feel better, considering I don’t know where it is. So lead the way miss...”
“Pinkie Pie! And what’s your name?”
“I'm Darkmint. So, shall we get going?”
To say the least, I'm glad I ran into her, because I now have 3 cases of zap apples for making cider with moonshine, and vodka flavoured zap apple. I love mixing my drinks with great stuff, but I am in desperate need of a sign so looking through town for a sign maker was going to be more difficult than I thought it would be.
I came to a shop called the Flim-Flam Brothers shop
"Wow, funny name, but whatever looks harmful enough...”
“Hey, brother! We've got a customer! Flim said.
“Well, look at that.” both brothers said in unison,
“Hello, I'm looking for a sign maker for my tavern, the Nightsky.” she said.
“Oh, the mayor said to look for a pony... Darkmint, I think she said. Is that you, miss?”
“Yes, I'm Darkmint. I assume then, that you know what I need?”
“We certainly do!” Flam chimed. It will take about 4 hours to have it completed, so you can come back later if you wish.”
“I will be back soon, and thank you again for the help.” Darkmint said, leaving the shop. Trotting back into the main part of town was fun; the weather was great and enjoyable.
Well in a week or two, my tavern will be open for business and I'll be ready! She mused to herself
Meanwhile back in the train bound for Ponyville.
Well, it looks like it is going be a long ride, so I might as well enjoy it while I can.
Waking up 4 hours later, and noticing that the train had made it to Cloudsdale, Silverhoof was very excited to have arrived.
Well, time to get some rest. Tomorrow, I'm to meet the mayor as soon as possible. he thought to himself as he turned in for the night.
Well, here I am in Ponyvile, and what a lively town indeed! As I wondered where to go, I started to ask around town about where the town hall was, so I made my way after asking a bouncy pink pony where it was, and she bounced off.
I found the town hall after a bit of searching, and it was a decent size for a place, so marching up the steps was a fun ride, considering it wasn’t that much of a trot at all. Knocking on the door to her house, he was greeted by a short Earth pony named Mayor Mare.
“Good morning, I'm SilverHoof. I'm new in town and I'm a bit lost, can ya kindly help me?”
“Oh! Another new pony! You're the second one this week. Well, follow me Mr. Silver, and we will get you settled in to the house where you will be staying.”
The walk took thirty minutes, but it was fun. She started by asking me where I was from, and why I came to a town like Ponyvile. I explained why I was kicked out of Canterlot; Thanks to my horses ass of a boss, and was forced to move somewhere else.
“Hmm. That is a really sad story, and I'm sorry to hear that you had to leave such a great city behind; It must have been hard on you.”
“Yes, it was, and I hate being away from the city. I feel like a stranger here in Ponyvile, and I hope to make a new life here.”
“I'm glad you came here, because not many ponies come to move or live here.”
“In that case, I feel very welcome here, and I promise I wont cause any trouble.”
After ten minutes, we arrived at a simple town house that was a great size, but all the more welcome.
“This is mine? Wow I love it!” I said as I walked inside, looking at the interior; noticing it had an inside bar, like a pub or restaurant.
“This is a two story house, and you are more than welcome to redecorate it as you see fit.” She explained, seeing my awe-struck look.
“Well, I thank you very much.” I replied. “I'm going to get settled. I'll come by sometime tomorrow, if that's okay?” I asked. Nodding, she waved her hoof as she left the house.
As evening arrived, SilverHoof was busy restocking the bar with his much rewarded liquors and different drinks he collected over the years, noticing that the shelves already had glasses, plates, and other silverware on them. He set to get the house in order, starting with the living room. Noticing the decent size, he decided he was going to make sure he had plenty of space, just in case he wanted to throw a party. After moving things from shelf to shelf, he was finally satisfied with his work, moving on to his master bedroom which was medium size.
'Not like the size matters, considering I'm single.'
Making his bed was fun; he had 3 layers of blankets, and while he did that he snook a peek into the bathroom, noticing a large tub.
“Now that's more like it!” He said aloud, grinning from ear to ear. Before he could step into the bathroom, a knock at the door interrupted his thoughts.
'Now who in the hay is here at this time of night?' He thought to himself.
Opening the door, he was tackled by the same hyperactive pink pony he recieved directions from earlier.
“Oh hi! I'm Pinkie Pie and I'm here to invite you to Sweet Apple Acres for your welcoming party! So come on!”
Trying to figure everything out, sitting up seeing the pink pony bouncing like a foal on a sugar high, he just nodded at her ranting about the party.
Pinkie Pie started to show him to where the party was, when he noticed a unicorn mare with a mint color mane in the distance. As they made their way to Sweet Apple Acres, he decided to tune out the bouncing pony, who was talking faster than he could think, so he deiced to nod every once in a while as they made it to their destination. As they approached the party, SilverHoof was in awe at how big the party really was.
“Wow, this is nice! Did you do this all yourself Pinkie Pie?” He asked in shock. She just simply nodded. “Well, I'm impressed!” Silver said to her giving her a hug in thanks.
Noticing more ponies coming to the party from all sides of town, “WELCOME EVERYPONY!” Pinkie exclaimed as she grabbed a megaphone from an old Earth pony.
“Welcome to Ponyvile! I'm Twilight Sparkle.” A lavender unicorn said to silver, and to the mint colored pony who did not look amused at all by the party. She probably didn't want to be there in the first place...
“I'm SilverHoof. I came from Canterlot; from the richer part, that's known for their casinos, bars, and clubs.”
Well since he's doing an introduction... “I'm DarkMint, I'm not from this town either, and I arrived three days before you did it seems.”
“Well it is a pleasure to meet you DarkMint. Twilight said as she smiled. “I hope I can be a good friend, if you need one.”

Tonight was shaping up to be a good night so far; the party was great, and the stallion in silver was hot. He stood out in the crowd as he danced with Twilight. DarkMint then came up to him and asked him to dance. He nodded, making room for her to come up and wrap her forelegs around him as they danced.
“You’re quite the good dancer Mr. Silver, I mean really good!” She said as she was twirled round and around, giggling.
“Well your no slouch yourself! He exclaimed. “Wherever did you learn to dance? He asked, winking at her with a smile.
“I learned at the Canterlot School of Dance, she replied. “Which is a great school for beginners; the class was taught by that one mare who ended up pregnant later on that year.”
“Oh, I've heard of it, I've just never been to it before. Besides, I'm best friends with the instructor. She was a teacher in the filly and colt school of magic.” Silver said in a silly tone.
“Wow, that's awesome!” DarkMint said as the song ended. “And thanks for the dance! “It was really fun, and believe me, I haven’t danced in years, so it was a new experience for me!”
After the dance, she made her way to the bar, ordering some apple cider, downing it in two seconds flat. She grabbed two more glasses before going back to the party's main attraction, considering that she and SilverHoof were the ponies that the party was for in the first place; it was a bit embarrassing when she was invited.
“Well everypony, I must be getting home.” DarkMint said. “I have to clean up and get started on my little project that will be opening up in a few days.” Her announcement made, she went on her way, only to be stopped by SilverHoof
“May I go with you?” He asked nervously. “I've had enough of Pinkie Pie's energy to last me a month.” He said with a chuckle. “Besides, I'm a tad curious about what you're working on.” He added, smiling as he trotted next to her.
“Of course,” She responded. “I don't see how it could hurt.”
After a short walk, the duo made it to her tavern, causing Silver's eyes to widen in awe. As well as the words that came out of his mouth.
“Well damn, what a nice tavern! The nicest I've seen in my many years working in bars and clubs!” He said with amazement. “If you'd like I can help you fix the place up; I mean only if you'd like me to. He offered “I would be honored to help; it makes me happy helping others, and besides, I'd love to work here once it is finished.”
DarkMint pondered his offer for a moment, eventually reaching a decision.
“That sounds wonderful! She beamed. Besides, I don’t get much help, and this will be the first chance I've had to work on it to begin with. The party distracted me too much, and I want this place open soon.”
I can understand that.” He said. “I mean, my old boss opened his bar from scratch, and it was a hit with the neighborhood drunks; and they paid a fortune doing it.”
“I cant say that I'm impressed, but who was your boss?” She asked with curiosity.
“His name was Shine light, a neighborhood ass from university, and my now ex-boss. He had me kicked out of Canterlot for no reason.”
“I know who he is.” She deadpanned. “It sounds like he hasn't changed one bit. He was always bossy, and made people mad at him for his sheer stupidity.”
“Stupidity is right!” Silver exclaimed with a hearty laugh, as he told DarkMint the story on how he was fired.
“Shesh.” She replied. “He really is a horses ass, and he will forever be one.”

Spending a few hours with the mare, he learned that she had opened up several bars all over Equestria, and settled in Ponyvile not too long ago.
“So, what made you decide to open a business in this small town?” He asked.
“Well, I love running bars. You could say it's my special talent; making people happy with my drinks.
“Well Dark, I think it's a wonderful idea! He chimed. “And I'd be more than happy to help you in any way I can; as long as you can tolerate me, that is.” He added with a laugh.
“Well, it'll take more than that to get me annoyed,and besides, I think Pinkie wins that contest hooves down!” She said with a laugh.
“That's so true!” He said to her, smiling like a school pony.
Looking around the tavern, he noticed the gargantuan size of the bar, complete with a TV, and a plethora of bottles; taking notice of the Zap Apple cider.
“Where did you get the Zap Apples from, if I may ask?”
“I ordered them before the season started, so I can make the cider once the apple season began. Plus, I made different drinks with the Zap Apples, that actually turned out to be pretty good.” She explained.
“Wow, how time flies when your having a blast.” he said with a yawn, noticing DarkMint yawning as well. “I think we should call it a night.” He added, stifling back another yawn as he headed for the door, so DarkMint could close up and get some sleep. He waved to her as he left the tavern, a smile creeping across his face.
I think this is going to turn out very well... he thought to himself as he trotted home.
After the night was done, and she and Silverhoof parted ways, she felt alone. Did he have that much effect on me? I never took much romantic interest in anypony, much less somepony like him. She thought. She decided to go back into the tavern and grab a glass of cider to calm her nerves. “Aww I needed that.” she said aloud, chuckling to herself.
I think I am gonna get some work done here. She thought to herself, as she started to move tables around and set them in the right angles, making sure each had three sets of silverware and napkins. As she worked, she started to think of Silver, only making herself blush as she did so.
After two hours of working, she turned the lights off and closed down for the night. As she trotted home, she planned a lot in her head as for what to add in the tavern, and what kind of TV network she needed for the sports part of things. “I never had much problems with setting up, so why is it hard right now?” She thought out loud.
“Oh, that’s easy!” Twilight Sparkle said, making her jump two feet in the air.
“What in tarnation are you scaring me for?” DarkMint said to a giggling Twilight. “Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. And to answer your question, you have fallen in love; that's why you're so distracted.”
“How can you be so sure, Twi? I mean yeah, I think I get it, but I never in my right mind think of romance. But I just can't stop thinking about him, and it makes my heart go all jumpy.”
“Yep, I was right! And I'm always right! So, do I win a prize?”
“Hmm. Sure. I'll treat ya to some drinks tomorrow, but for now, I just want to crash after the night I've had.” Dark said sleepily.
“That's okay. Well, goodnight DarkMint. See you tomorrow!”
After Twilight left, Dark went straight home and took a long, hot, steamy shower, continuing to think of the stallion who stole her heart and making her all wet between her legs. Really now, I think Twilight is right. I have fallen hard for Silver, and it's only going to get worse now that he is going to work with me but oh snap he needs a job to work in the tavern.
After the shower, she climbed into bed tired, but not ready to sleep just yet. She grabbed a pen and paper, and started writing menus for the drinks; and to get a feel for the food as well. I'm thinking tavern food; like sandwiches, salads and whatever else ponies eat in this town. After that, she lay down, settling into dream land as she hit the pillow.

Sleep was nearly impossible that night for him, so he decided to read and drink some wine. “Okay, why am I being such a dunce? This is not like me; and what is on my mind about that mare? I think it's obvious I am in love with a mare who I met tonight.” Silver said aloud.
Finishing the drink, he then lay back, thinking of DarkMint, and smiled. He wondered what it would be like to kiss the mare after the dance he fell for her instantly and it was something he never experienced before coming into town.
Falling asleep after awhile, dozing off into dreamland.
The next morning.

“Urgh, my head. Why is it pounding so much?” Silverhoof thought aloud, as he found himself on the floor instead of his bed. “Okay, why am I on the floor, and why must my morning be like this?” Getting up slowly, he made his way to the bathroom, looking into the mirror. “Okay, I look like shit.” Silver muttered to himself as he rubbed the sore spot on his head.
Making his way downstairs, he noticed one of two things. First, someone had left him a package, and second, the window was open. “Hmm, what is this?” He said to himself, as he went to the package.
To Silverhoof from Darkmint:
Sorry I had to come in through the window, but I left a package of my best moonshine for you. Let me know what you think when you make your way to the tavern at your earliest convenience.
P.S. Do not drink it by itself!
“Heh, typical.” He said with a chuckle “But it's moonshine, so I'm not complaining I suppose.” Opening the package, he pulled out a large bottle of homemade raspberry moonshine. “Well, now I'll be darned. She truly outdid herself; I must find a way to repay her somehow.” He said to himself as he made his way to the tavern, after cleaning up and grooming himself.

Making her way inside the tavern was fun. She dressed quickly, making short work of her mane, and dressing professionally for the day's work. “I wonder if Silver found the moonshine I brought him? Well I'll know soon enough.” She thought aloud, as she saw him coming to the door.
“Perfect timing, if I do say so myself.” She said, chuckling to herself as he came inside the tavern, out of breath. “Well don't die on your first day of work now!” She exclaimed, giggling at the stallion who was fighting to catch his breath.
“Sorry, I needed to rush to get away from a mob of Pinkie Pie.” He replied between breaths.
“Do I want to know why an army of Pinkie Pies were chasing you?” She asked with curiosity.
“Oh, you would not believe the day I've had so far, so let me explain.” He answered.

Okay. So, I should make it in time for work if I leave now. Silver thought, nodding to himself as he locked the door to his house. And before he could turn around, he was surrounded by a dozen of the hyperactive psycho mare Pinkie Pie, “Okay. Please tell me I am not dreaming; or is this a nightmare.”
“Nope!” they all said in union, attempting to tackle the awestruck stallion.
“Oh hell no! I'm outta here!” He said, as he started to run away, trying to get some distance between him and the Pinkie Pies.
Back to present
“Okay, can I die laughing now? Please?” She said, holding her hut as she started laughing in mirth.
“Seriously, I'm freaked out by that crazy mare, who I swear has had way too much sugar to drive a sane pony like me crazy.”
“I 'm sorry for laughing, but she pulled that same trick on me the night I came here, so I feel your pain my dear Silver.”
“Geez, what is up with her? Did someone drop her on her head when she was born, or did she get a permanent high on candy?”
“I don’t know, but I find her jokes funny sometimes.” Dark said, trying not to laugh even more.
“Well then, shall we get started working?” Silver announced, and dark only nodded, leading him into the bar area as she continued to silently giggle at the prank from earlier.
“So, what needs to be done?” Silver asked looking at the TV that was hooked up, but not turned on.
“I think we need to test some of the drinks, and make sure they will be satisfactory for our future customers.” She replied.
“So, what do we have right now?” Silver asked.
“Well, we have wines, spirits, liquors, and soda. So in this case, pick your poison.
“Yeah, I refuse to do liquor, since I downed that moonshine from this morning.”
“Please tell me you added something to it...”
“Nope.” Silver said, shaking his head to an awe struck DarkMint.
“DAMN! You do realize you're going to have a bucking headache tonight, right?” Dark said, shaking her head at the stallion, who was grinning like an idiot.
“I have something called hangover cure, so I'll be fine. I just can't drink any liquor or alcohol for 24 hours.”

After all the arguing back and forth, they both decided to just call it quits and began to decorate the tavern starting with the top floor first, making their way downstairs.
“Do you think we're going to have a great business here?” Silver asked.

“I think so, I'm just tired, and the moonshine is kicking in like crazy.” Silver said, sitting down on a stool.
“Well, you're welcome to rest.” Dark said while blushing, looking at his flank as she said it.
“Are you sure?” he asked in a confused tone and she simply nodded.

“I've never been here before.” He said to her, as she unlocked the two story house she lived in.

She made her way to the kitchen, and told him to make himself at home. Silver could only nod as he looked around the bottom floor, looking at the living room and the objects she had.
“I see you’re a collector.” He said with a smile, and she just nodded; not turning around as she continued to cook.
“I also collect a lot of different drinks; from places like Las Pegasus, and Trottingham.” She said, as the smell of the food got the better of him.
“So, a drink collector, huh?” He asked. “It seems we have a lot in common. I have tons of drinks myself, and it’s quite a chore keeping up with it.”
Thirty minutes later, dinner was done and set. “Come and get it.” She said to Silver, who could only smile. Taking a sip of the berry juice, he fell over, and passed out cold.

“I think we need to get the cable working, so we can set up the TV and make sure it doesn't go out.”
They both heard a knocking at the door, signaling that the cable stallions had arrived, and were ready to work. As Silver let them in, they tipped their hats, and got straight to work.
“So, what shall we do while they're busy working?” Dark asked, realizing that it was starting to get dark early.
“Shall we embark on our dinner date, and see where it leads from there?” Silver asked.

Making their way to a new restaurant that opened a day ago, Silver noticed Applejack working the tables.
“Hey there AJ! How are you doing tonight?” He asked, surprised to see her.
“I'm doin' great! And let me welcome y'all to the Apple family diner!”
“So you and your family opened a diner? I'm truly impressed!” Dark said, as silver took his hoof into hers, smiling as they made it into the diner proper. The diner itself was Cowpony style; with a pool table, a bar, and many other accessories.
“Well color me impressed yet again!” Dark said to AJ, who simply nodded.
“What can I get y'all tonight?” The country mare asked.
“I'll take the dinner special, with some apple cider.” Dark said.
“And what about you Silver?” AJ asked.
“I'll have the special as well, but make my drink an apple moonshine, with just a hint of lemons. AJ nodded, making her way to Big Macintosh, who was busy cooking in the kitchen.
“So, about my question...” Silver said, grinning a bit at a giggling DarkMint.
“Yes, Silver I will be your marefriend, but only on one condition: you'll have to move in with me.” She said, a sly smile forming on her lips.

“I know what you mean.” Dark said. “And believe me, I'm just as hungry. It's been a long day, and the cable stallions should be done by now, so I'm eager to get back to work on the tavern.” Dark added in a hushed tone.
“After they left the restaurant, and made it to the tavern, they saw that the stallions were just finishing the last cables, and ensuring that all of the TV's were in working order. Nodding as they saw the couple, Dark signed the paperwork that was presented to her, allowing the stallions to finally leave.

The night went slowly after the cable stallions had left, so both she and Silver decided to swap stories of their pasts.
“So silver, what is the best drink you had and when did you have it,

Back at the house

“So, he invited you as well Mr. Shinners? Seeing as you’re a regular, I’, kind of shocked to say the least.”
“Well, he is the one who wanted me here for some announcement later.”
What kind of announcement I wonder. Silver thought to himself. “Well, we’ll find out soon I guess.”
“Fillies and gentlecolts ! Welcome! Please take a seat as I prepare the speech for tonight; and as always I want to give a thank you to Mr.shinners for helping me set up this event. IT is time to speak to a certain pony named Silver Hoof. In ten minutes I will speak again, until then: mingle!”
“That doesn’t sound too good.” Silver said to Dark. She growled in response before snapping to reality by a kiss from Silver’s lips.
“I am going to sit down and relax. Want to join me Silver? Dark asked winking to her colt friend.
Few minutes passed.
“Take a seat!” Said Silver’s former boss. “I am going to say this one thing Silver. You caused me a great deal and I plan on getting you back tonight.”
“What do you plan to do?” Silver asked quickly dismissing the threat.
“By killing your trusted friend: Mr. Shinners. Then, I’d be killing you as well. So, what do you got to say for yourself Silver?”
“Well, for one. I will not be tolerating this behavior.” Luna said in her royal Canterlot voice as hell broke loose with assassins everywhere.
“Kill Silver first!” One pony said pointing to both the couple who stood their ground bucking assassins as they came by.
“This is stupid!” Silver said bucking one pony in the head and then knocking some sense into another.
“I agree sugar cube!” AJ replied appearing from the trees whom landed on one ponies head. Dark laughed at the display.
“Thank the heavens for messenger birds, right?” AJ said winking to Mr. Shinners who was also trying to hold his ground against the assault.
THE AFTERMATH
“Well, this sucks!” Dark said to both stallions and the other mare who was locked in combat with the final assailant.
“So, how do you like that fact that you are going to die?” Silver’s ex-boss said laughing with a sword in his mouth.
“ You planned this all along? To kill Silver?” Dark yelled pulling out the hidden blade she kept near her at all times.
“No Dark! Let me handle him.” Silver said stepping in front of her taking the hit then falls onto his rump.
“So, Silver playing the hero for an ex of mine. How annoying! I should of killed you before her, but no. You insisted on living; though, this is perfect! The both of you will die and I will be free of the past from both my lives.
“This is how it ends!” Mr. Shinners said. “Spare these two and can take my life.”
“I don’t think so! They will die!” Silver’s former boss said. His blade came to a stop when he swung it at Mr. Shinners taking the blow intended for the couple.
“MR.SHIINERS! NO!” Silver yelled as his ex-boss ran towards the night as the police stallions raided the party.
