The sound of hooves clopped against the hard stone path. It was raining really hard, and which each hoof that made contact with the ground, water splashed in the air and made a noise. 2 Ponies were wearing black Cloaks that covered their heads.
Despite the Cloak covering a lot of their body, their eyes glowed in the dark…they were not regular Ponies, they were creatures of the Myth and darkness, the drinker of blood, the creature that stalks any living thing at night…Vampires…
The 2 Vampire Ponies trotted towards a small cottage in the woods, they came up to the door and one of them used a hoof to knock on the hard wood door. As they waited for anypony to answer it, they decided to talk.
"Blood is becoming very scarce…" One said calmly with a gruff and masculine voice.
"Yeah, I know. We fed on so many Manticores and Cockatrice that they are nearing extinction. The Beast Clan is upset." The other said with a Feminine voice, but had toughness in it.
"Forget that Clan, there always complaining about the Mortal Animals, we need their Blood to survive. It's those pathetic Rebels who go and kill the living creatures that we need to feed on."
"I know…they need to be dealt with, we will speak to Princess Velma after this." Their conversation stopped as they smelled the scent of another Vampire trotting up to the door. The door opened and revealed a Vampire Earth pony mare with a dark blue coat, light blue mane and blue eyes.
"Hello, what can I do for you too?" She smiled as her Vampiric fangs flashed with her smile…
…On Earth…
A Young man in his 20s is sitting down on a chair with a desk in front of him. He has a City background behind him. He is wearing a Business Suit and he is holding a few papers in his hands. A Cameraman is holding a Large Camera and is broadcasting the Crime that happened on Saturday.
"In Channel 5 News, today, Ricky L. Jenkins Jr. was shot dead Saturday in an alley in Madison, and a day later Police are releasing no further information in the killing. Jenkins, 32 year old man, was found in the 200 block of Ewing Avenue with a gunshot wound about 12:10 A.M. and later died at an area Hospital.
It's been a shock to his Father, Ricky Jenkins Sr., who lives in Northern Illinois.
"His Mother is crying and grieving." Jenkins Sr. said.
"I haven't gotten a chance to even ask questions or anything like that." He said. Police have not released any further information about the shooting or a possible motive.
Jenkins Jr. was under house arrest on a pending Drug charge, according to his Father, and Court Records show he was supposed to be under Electronic Monitoring at the time he was killed. He had previous Convictions for Drug and Battery Charges and had been released from Menard Correctional Center in December.
"He was living with his Brother in Washington Park." Jenkins Sr. said. The elder Jenkins had spoken with his son only a week ago by phone, he said.
"I don't know why a week later I get a call like this."
Despite his troubles with the law, Jenkins Sr. said his son was not the type to start a fight.
"He was a good person; he wasn't bad." He said.
"He would help people and he wasn't a troublemaker. Whatever happened to him, he didn't start it."
That was borne out when Police told him that his son was shot in the back, Jenkins Sr. said.
Jenkins Sr. moved to the Northern Illinois town of La Salle about six years ago, but kept in touch with his family. Then his brother called on Saturday to tell him his son had been shot.
"I called my Son's phone and a detective answered," Jenkins Sr. said.
The elder Jenkins took a bus down from La Salle on Sunday afternoon, seeking answers.
"I want to get some understanding on it."
"He was just like other kids. He got in some trouble, but I did what I could do." He said.

"Hmmm, so is that why you came?" The Vampire mare asked the 2 Cloaked Vampires.
"Yes, we heard that you found a living creature. You know the Law, anypony who finds any living thing, must bring it to the "Bleeding" House and be farmed for Blood, so that it can be given to everypony." The gruff voice said. She smirked.
"I don't have any living creature here." She said. The 2 Vampires sniffed the air.
"Then why do we smell a Chicken?" They asked. The Vampire mare pouted.
"Oh, come on! It's just a Chicken! Does it have to be every living creature?" The Vampire mare pouted.
"Yes, you know the Law. Big, medium, or small the living creature must-"
"Oh, will you stop being so new Blooded? Living creatures are called Kine and Vampires are called Kindred." The cloaked Vampire mare said.
"Whatever, give us the Kine, or be punished." The Vampire stallion said. The Vampire mare nodded and trotted inside, she came back a few seconds later and held the Chicken in her hooves. She gave them the Chicken that was squawking quietly.
"Thank you miss." The Cloaked Vampire stallion said and trotted away while holding the Chicken. The Vampire mare didn't say a word and grinded her fangs in anger and went back into her cottage. The 2 Cloaked Vampires stared hungrily at the delicious Blood filled Bird.
"Mmmmm, I'm so hungry…" The Cloaked Vampire mare complained.
"Vein, control yourself." The Cloaked Vampire stallion said.
"Alright, sorry Red, but aren't you hungry?" She asked.
"Yeah, me too…but, we can't feed on this bird, come on, and let's get it to the Bleeding place." Red said. Vein nodded and controlled her blood lust…
I walked to my Brother's room and knocked on the door, waiting for him to answer. My name is Najmi (Na-gee-mee) Montgomery and I'm an 18 year old Black Teen. Dwoyne is my 16 year old little brother and we live together with our mom.
We never met our dad, he was in the Gang life and I and my Brother saw our own Cousin get shot and killed in front of us. I was 15 while Dwoyne was 13 at the time it happened. We used to live in a Gang affiliated life style.
Me and Dwoyne were bullied and teased back then, this corrupted me and him and we would go out together and steal…we don't do it, anymore because I discovered that were no different than the Hood Rats of the Hood.
We changed our ways and moved out of the Hood when our mom got enough money from her job and the Loans. We now live in a nice Suburban neighborhood with a Bog or Wetlands bordering it.
However, despite the move and changing our ways, Dwoyne has taken an interest in the Dark side of things. Ever since the death of our Cousin, he has been wearing a lot of Black and Red and has been isolating himself in his room a lot.
I talked to him about it and he tells me how he hates it how all this happened to us. I talked to him about it and after weeks, he cheered up and didn't go into the Darkness that much…but, I wonder whats going to happen when I tell him about our Cousin…
I'm a Senior at High school and I'm in the 1st Semester, my brother Dwoyne is a Sophomore and we go to the same School. I drive to the school with our family's 2008 Green Dodge Charger and I bring my Brother with me.
I'm 5"8 and I have a medium build, my legs and arms are muscular, but I have no Abs or Pecs. I have Black hair and it's in a Faded haircut that I got yesterday. I am wearing a Jack Skeleton Hoodie that I got from the Mall.
The Hoodie has Jack's head on the back of it and instead of a Zipper to zip up the Sweater, it has Silver buttons. The Sweater is Black and it has white stripes on the wrist of the Sweater. The Sleeves and the Hood is Gray.
I was wearing Black jeans and Red Nikes; I was also wearing a Silver Lion necklace. I heard footsteps behind the door and Dwoyne opens it and looks at me. He is wearing Head phones while he is holding a picture of our Cousin Jakorri in his hand.
"Hey, Najmi, what's happening?" My Brother asked me. Dwoyne had Caramel skin like me, we basically had light brown skin; he had Black hair and it was in a Taper haircut style. He had light brown eyes like me; they get darker when there not in the light, mine stays the same.
Dwoyne is 5"7 and has an Average build, he has Abs, and he works out more than me. I don't work out as much because school is really hard and I have to study a lot. Dwoyne is on the Basketball Varsity Team at school.
Dwoyne is wearing a Black V-Neck shirt, and a Black and white Rosary made of wood. He had on Black jeans like me and a pair of Black and Red Adidas with a Skull on the back. He has on his Black Snapback that has Drizzy written on the back.
Dwoyne really loves tattoos; he has 2 Tattoos on his body. He has a Dragon tattoo on his back and a Tattoo on his left forearm with the word Jakorri and an Angel Wing next to it. Even though he is 16, our mom let him get the Tattoos. I had no Tattoos. I sighed.
"Dwoyne…something bad happened…" I said trying to calm myself down. Dwoyne took off his head phones.
"What happened?" He asked.
"Our Cousin Ricky Jenkins Jr. was shot…" I said bluntly. Dwoyne stared wide eyed at me.
"A-Are you serious?" He asked with fear and depression.
"Yes…I saw it on the News, today…" Tears were swelling in my eyes. Dwoyne was trying hard not to cry, but he let a few tears go down his cheek and wiped his face with his hands.
"Where's mom?" He asked.
"She's not home yet, she is still at work. Do…you want to take a walk at the Bog?" I asked. He nodded and went back into his room and put on his Black shades and took his head phones and MP3. I walked to my room and grabbed my own MP3 and ear buds, we loved music.
I grabbed the key and walked out of our house; Dwoyne came out of his room and walked on the porch. I used the key to close the door and locked it, I turned to Dwoyne.
"Listen, I know your upset about our Cousin, but don't go into the Dark side because of it." I said to him.
"Yes, I won't." Dwoyne said. I nodded and I motioned him to follow me, we walked down the sidewalk with the Sun beaming down on us, it was Saturday Afternoon. We finally reached the Bog and the path turned into wood instead of concrete.
"Enjoying the walk?" I asked.
"No…I still feel bad about it…" Dwoyne said sadly.
"I know what you mean…damn, Gangste-AHHH!" I yelled as I tripped over a Log. Something rolled out of the end of the Log when I tripped over it.
"Damn…" I said standing up.
"Hey, what is that?" Dwoyne asked while pointing at the thing that rolled out of the Log. I looked over at it.
"What…the hell is that?" I asked. It was some sort of Black Orb…it had a Blood Drop symbol on it, it looked like a Dragonball from Dragon Ball Z, but instead of having Stars on it and being orange…the Orb was Black with the Blood Drop symbol on it. The Orb was as big as a Baseball…
"It's an Orb." Dwoyne said walking over to it. I followed him and I leaned down to pick up the Orb, it felt cool to the touch and it felt smooth.
"Yeah, I wonder where it came from." I said while staring at it in my hands. I moved my fingers around it and rubbed the Blood symbol with my fingers. All of a sudden, right after I touched the Blood symbol, Red Smoke started to puff out of the Orb.
"Holy crap!" I yelled and threw the Orb in a Pond 1 yard from us; the Orb sank all the way into the clear Pond. However, it was still puffing out the Red Smoke and after a minute…the Pond was no longer clear Water…the Pond Water was now Blood Red…
"What the hell?" Dwoyne said in confusion. The Red Water started to boil like as if it was being Heated. We stared in disbelief at it…suddenly, 2 Red Tentacles came out of the Pond and swayed lightly in the air.
"Come to me…"
We heard a seductive female voice said from in the Pond. The voice was so beautiful and seductive that it put me and my Brother in a trance. We walked towards the Pond and looked up at the tentacles.
They came down and wrapped themselves around our waist and dragged us into the Red Waters, the Pond was suppose to be Shallow, but for some strange reason it was as deep as the Ocean. All we saw was Red and the Tentacles just kept pulling us deeper and deeper, in till the sunlight started to fade away.
I fainted from lack of Oxygen and the pressure on my head from going down in deep Waters…
I woke up gasping for breath to see that I was in a dark forest, the Moon was the only thing that lit up everything, but it wasn't a regular Moon…the Moon was as Red as Blood…
"Dwoyne, where are you?" I said standing up. I heard coughing and looked to my right to see Dwoyne stand up.
"Here…where are we?" He asked me.
"I have no idea, hey look, theres a dirt path right there. Let's go." I said and we walked on the dirt path…
…Nearby…
Vein and Red were trotting on the path and suddenly…the Scent of the Humans hit their nostrils.
"You smell that? It smells like a very yummy Kine…no, theres 2 of them." Vein said.
"Yeah, I smell them too. There are Exotic Kines because there blood is different, let's go capture them." Red said. Vein smiled, showing off her fangs and they moved at super speed towards the 2 unsuspecting Humans…
…On the Path…
I and Dwoyne were trying to find a sign that could lead us to a town.
"Najmi, this place is cree-"Dwoyne couldn't finish his sentence as something knocked him in the back of his head and he fainted to the ground.
"Wha-!" I tried to say, but I felt something hard…a Hoof…hit me in the back of my head. I fell to the ground and just before I fainted…I saw 2 Horses…or Ponies hiding in Cloaks with glowing eyes and a pair of Vampire fangs smiling at me.
"V-Vampires…" I whispered before I fainted and saw darkness…
The Mane 6, Celestia, and Luna tried to defeat the Kindred, but…they were killed…except, Celestia…she was banished…the regular Ponies became Food…or turned into Kindred.
The 2 Vampire Alicorns defeated Celestia with the Elements of Cruor (Blood) and she is trapped inside a Red Crystal Ball.
There were 2 Vampire Alicorns that were sisters and ruled together and created Darkness and supplied a lot of Blood to their Children.
To do this, they captured the Kine and milked their Blood. The Eldest sister controls the Red Moon and supplies powerful Blood Magic to every Kindred.
The Youngest controls the Blue Moon to make the Kine all have increased quantities of Blood and increased Health regeneration so they can be fed on frequently.
Thus, the 2 sisters supplying Blood for their Kingdom and subjects: All the Kindred Clans.
But, as time went on, the Kine started to die of Diseases. Some Kindred carried Diseases in their undead body and spread it as they bit the Kine.
As the Kine started to die from Diseases, the Kindred didn't trust each other and fought each other for the cause of this.
The 2 Vampire Alicorns calmed the Kindred down, but the Kine's population went down a lot. Together, they maintain the peace and prepare Blood for every Kindred…
A Young Vampire Unicorn mare stopped reading her book. She looked at her book in confusion as she licked her fangs.
"Hmmm, Elements of Cruor…did I hear that before when I was a little filly?" She said in confusion and looked up at the Bats that flew over her. She was lying down on a Black chair on her belly.
"Where are those Elements…?" She asked in confusion. She had a young 16 year old girl voice with a hint of intelligence in it.
She had a Gray coat and a dark purple mane and tail with a dark orange streak through them. Her mane was long and fell on the right side of her neck. She had dark orange eyes that glowed in the dark and her Cutie Mark was a Red Book.
She was wearing a small pair of Square shaped Black Shades that covered the lower part of her eyes. She was a really intelligent Vampire Unicorn and she was thirsty for knowledge and wanted to try different types of Blood, her name is Heartlight Twinkle.
Heartlight stood up and used her Blood Magic to levitate the book into her Gray saddle bag. She put on her saddle bag and started to trot down a dirt road. She was relaxing in the Royal Park of Alucard. She smiled as she slowly trotted and looked at her surroundings.
Alucard used to be Canterlot, but after the Princesses defeated Celestia, they changed the name and made a lot of touches to it. The once White structures were now Black bricks, the Roof tops were Red bricks, and the Golden designs were now Gray.
As Heartlight trotted down the dirt path, 3 Vampire Unicorn mares were standing on the path talking, they smelled Heartlight coming and they turn around to smile at her, showing off their fangs. They were each carrying a Gift on their back.
"There you are, Heartlight! Moon Drinker is having a little party at the east side of the Park. Do you wanna come?" One asked. Heartlight shook her head.
"No, I have a lot of studying to do, see you later girls." Heartlight trotted passed them. As she was trotting away, she heard them talking…
"Does that Kindred do anything except study?" One said.
"I think she's more interested in books instead of friends." The other said. She turned around and glared at them.
"I don't need friends; I have my intelligence, Fang, and my Mentor!" Heartlight yelled at them. They stared at her in confusion and trotted away from her without saying a word. She grinded her fangs in anger and her horn glowed Red, she teleported to her Royal Library.
"FANG! FANG! WHERE ARE YOU!?" Heartlight yelled. A large Bat flew down from the Ceiling and landed in front of her.
"There you are, Fang." Heartlight smiled.
"Yeah, Heartlight?" He asked. Fang was a large brown Bat with yellow eyes that glowed in the dark. He was not a regular Bat…he was the size of an Owl, plus Heartlight gave him some Vampire blood, which made him faster and stronger.
She also gave him intelligence so that he is able to talk and have a personality. Fang was Heartlight's Assistant.
"Find me that book on Predictions, Prophesies, Myths, and Legends please." She said. Fang nodded and flew up and used his mouth to pick up a blue book from the shelf and flew back down and gave it to Heartlight.
"Thank you." Heartlight smiled. She grabbed the book with her magic and out it down on a desk. She started to look through the book.
"Hmmm, where's Mare in the Crystal…?" She said while flipping pages with her magic.
"But, that's an old Kindred tale." Fang said.
"Aha! A Powerful Alicorn that once ruled Equestria, but was defeated by the Elements of Cruor (Blood) and imprisoned in a Red Crystal Ball. Legend has it when the Stars a line, the seal will be weakening, and she will be set free if a Kine or Kindred break the Red Crystal Ball, and she will bring back the Sun that will turn all Kindred to ash." Heartlight said.
"Sounds terrible, never ever saw the Sun, and I hope I never do." Fang said.
"Fang, take a note." Heartlight said.
"Ok." Fang grabbed a scroll and a Quil with his Bat like foot and his Bat claws.
"My dearest teacher,
My studies over Blood Magic have led me to discover that we are nearing the disaster that will fall on us soon. All of the Kindred will be on the Brink of destruction. I have discovered that Celestia is going to return and bring the Sun back. Something must be done to make sure this doesn't happen; we have to find the lost Red Crystal Ball. I await your swift response.
Your faithful student, Heartlight Twinkle."
"Ok, I got everything, Heartlight." Fang said.
"Now bite the scroll so you can send it." Heartlight said. Fang nodded and sunk his Bat teeth into the scroll. The scroll turned into Red Mist and flew out of the window. 10 seconds later, Fang burped Red mist and a scroll formed.
"Good, she got it." Heartlight smiled. Fang started to read the scroll out loud and Heartlight's mouth dropped to the ground in shock…
…15 Minutes Later…
Heartlight pouted as 2 Royal Vampire Pegasus stallions pulled the Chariot that she was in. They were high in the air; Heartlight felt the cool breeze against her coat, Fang was perched on her back. She remembered the scroll that her Mentor sent her…
"My Dear Heartlight,
There is more to a Kindred's undead life then just sitting around reading books. I know that you are part of the Clan Intellect and have an intense thirst for knowledge. However, that is not an excuse for not having friends, we are all immortal and we need all the friends we can get with the Blood shortage. So, I am sending you to Vampville to be the organizer for the Blood Moon Celebration that is being held there. And another task for you to complete, make some friends…also…I've got a scroll saying that 2 Kindred found 2 strange Kines…please check them out for me and see where they came from.
You're Mentor, Princess Velma."
Heartlight's mind wandered to the issue with the strange creatures and her mood lightened.
"Strange Kine, huh? I may be upset about making friends, but I want to see the new Kine! I wonder what their blood must taste like…just a drop…maybe more…"
Heartlight adjusted her Black Shades with her Hoof and started licking her lips. She smiled in excitement with her fangs gleaming in the moon light…
Heartlight's train of thought was interrupted when the Gray Royal Chariot landed on the ground. She hopped off the Chariot and smiled at the guards.
"Thank you, sirs." She said. The 2 guards smiled and nodded, they then flew away. Fang looked at Heartlight.
"So, Heartlight, we should go make frie-"He couldn't finish as Heartlight interrupted him.
"No, she said for me to come here and be the Organizer, and find out about those 2 delicious new Kine! I just wonder what their blood taste like!" She said excitedly and licked her lips.
"Alright, so what are you going to do first?" Fang asked. She smiled.
"I'm going to see the 2 Kines!" She said and trotted towards the Town hall Building…
I woke up in a cold sweat, my hands and legs were tied to a chair, and so was my Brother. My Brother was sleeping and I looked up to see 2…Ponies, they looked cartoonish and they had big eyes that glowed in the dark like when you shine a flash light in a Dog's or Cat's eyes.
I couldn't really make out most of their details because they were wearing a Black cloak.
"Who the hell are you guys?" I asked. One on the right trotted forward.
"First, tell us where you came from, Kine." One said with a male voice.
"What does Kine mean?" I asked.
"Kine is a word that we created for Living creatures like you: Pony, Animal, Dragon, and anything else that's Living. Now, what are you?" He asked impatiently.
"Alright, I and my Brother are Humans, now why the heck is a Pony talking? And why are you so small and have those big Cartoonish eyes?" I asked confused.
"Hmmm, Humans? I never heard a Kine like that." The other one said with a female voice. Dwoyne started to wake up.
"Ahh, it's like God slapped upside the head and told me to stop getting tattoos and then told me to go back to Church…Najmi, where are you?" Dwoyne said in confusion.
"I'm here." I said. He looked at me, and then looked at the 2 Ponies in shock.
"What are you?" Dwoyne asked the 2 Ponies.
"We are Kindred or Vampire Ponies if you will." The female said. We looked at them confused.
"…Vampire Ponies…?" I said in confusion. I then looked at Dwoyne and he looked at me and a smile quickly spread across our face.
"HAHAHAHAHA!" We both laughed loudly.
"Vampire Ponies!? Are you kidding me?" I laughed.
"Hahaha! This is the funniest Dream I ever had!" Dwoyne laughed. The 2 Kindred didn't look pleased; they trotted over and hit us in the face with their hoof.
"Ow!" I yelled.
"Uhh!" My Brother Dwoyne groaned from pain.
"T-This…isn't a dream…" Dwoyne said.
"Yeah…so, what do you want with us?" I asked.
"We were about to take you too to the Bleeding House, but the Mayor wanted us to take you here in Town hall for questioning. The Mayor sent a scroll to the Princesses and had them send down some Kindred to watch and take care of you during the Blood Moon Celebration." The male said.
"Ok, so, what are you going to do to us after this Celebration?" I asked. They smiled.
"Simple…strap you into a Bleeding Chair and farm your Blood so that every Kindred can drink. Judging by your scent, you too must have really high quality and tasty Blood." The female said while she licked her lips. This made me and my Brother tremble.
"Holy crap! Were in a World of Vampires…Ponies…we have to find a way out of here. And it isn't those stupid and pretty Vampires from Twilight…even with the Ponies having big cartoonish eyes and being small, these are the real deal Vampires here…"
I thought. One of them trotted close to Dwoyne and wrapped its fore hooves around his neck and its fangs were inches from his neck, the other one came up to me and did the same.
"Be nice now, we don't want to drain you of Blood in till you faint from Blood loss. We won't kill you, unless the Mayor and Princesses give out the order." The male said while he flashed his fangs at Dwoyne.
"Yeah, I could just keep you at my Cottage and suck your Blood, for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner…" The female smiled with her fangs gleaming in the light, she then placed her mouth by my ear.
"Now, don't laugh again and take us seriously, or I'll ruin this fine neck of yours…" The female whispered in my ear and licked my neck with her tongue. Her tongue was as cold as ice and it made me shiver…
"O-Ok…" I said nervously and scared. Dwoyne nodded his head in fear.
"Good." They both said stepping away from us. Just then, a knock was heard on the door.
"Hello, any Kindred in there?" A Nerdy Teen girl's voice was heard behind the door. They turned to the door.
"Who is it?" The male said.
"Heartlight Twinkle, the Student of Princess Velma." She said. They trotted over to the door and opened it, there stood a Vampire Unicorn wearing Shades that only covered her lower eyes…like a Cartoon…and she had a Gray coat with a dark purple mane and tail with an orange streak through them.
Her mane and tail was neat and her mane was long and fell on the right side of her neck. She had dark orange eyes that glowed in the dark…she had some sort of Tattoo on her flank…it was a Red Book with no Title on it.
"Who are you?" I asked her. She looked at me and smiled brightly at me, I could have sworn I saw a twinkle in her left eye.
"My name is Heartlight Twinkle, I am the Student of Princess Velma, and can you too untie them?" Heartlight asked the 2 Vampire cloaked Ponies. They nodded and untied me and Dwoyne; we stood up from our chairs.
Even though we were taller than the Ponies and they looked somewhat…cute, they still kept their intimidating presence because of their fangs and dark appearance.

"Why do we have to wear them?" I asked.
"To tell every Kindred that you belong to me, if you were in Vampville roaming around without you belonging to a Kindred, some Kindred will snatch you up and hold you Hostage in his or her Cottage. And, you will be used as his or her personal Feeding Doll." Heartlight explained. I and my Brother gulped.
"Ok…let's put them on." I said. The 2 Collars were Dog Collars and they were red.
"Alright, let's go sign your papers so I can own you too." Heartlight motioned us to follow and we walked after her…
A Vampire Earth Pony mare bounced down the street happily. She was singing a song while smiling brightly.

She sang as she hopped up and down. She had a Red coat and a light red mane and tail that were long and wacky looking. She had Blue eyes and her Cutie Mark was a pair of Fangs with Blood on them.
She was a really happy and silly Kindred, she enjoys sucking Blood and having fun with any Kindred, she is cheerful and thirsty for Blood and partying, her name is Reddy Pie.
