Twilight looked over at the pink mare standing in front of her. "Are you sure you can handle it? Because I can call Rarity and ask her if she could watch the library."

"Absolutely! I'm super duper excited that you would ask me!"

"Okaaaay..." Twilight closed the heavy door and trotted outside. Pinkie picked up her phone.

"Hello, Domneighnos? Can I have a large cheese pizza? Thanks." She picked up Twilight's wallet. " Yeah, um cash." She pulled out a twenty dollar bill.Twenty five minutes until pizza. Ooo! You know what goes good with pizza? Parties! Pinkie Pie picked up the phone again and invited the bearers of the elements over for a house sitting party. She hung some streamers on the wall, and was in the middle of blowing up a balloon when Applejack knocked on the door. The pink pony open the door for her. " Cumm unn enn Awpajak! Hwave a sh- POP! eat!" Pinkie set down the popped balloon.

"So ho-" The far pony was cut off when Rarity dantily tapped the door.

"Hold that thought Applejack, Rarity is here." Feeling a little overwhelmed, Applejack sat down on a pile of books.

"Why hello, Applejack, isn't this house sitting party divine?" Said a certain white Unicorn.

"Um very. Ah don't want to rot yer apples, but is Twilight okay with this?" Pinkie's blank face told her that the pink mare didn't really think of that.

"Uh..." Applejack face hoofed. No one heard the meek tapping on the door. "Um hello? I'm here for-" A chromatic blur tossed her aside. Rainbow Dash flew up behind and gave the door a beating.

"PINKIE! let us in!"

"Sure thing, ya silly filly." Pinkie replied, whisking open the heavy wooden door. Rainbow didn't hesitate to fly right in, leaving Fluttershy a little overwhelmed. The butter yellow Pegasus walked in, dodging books Rainbow had knocked aside when she crashed into the biography section.

"Thank you for the party, Pinkie." She half-whispered.

"What?"

"Thank you for the party."

"Say that again, sugar cube," Applejack said, "and louder this time. "Fluttershy took a deep breath.

A prismatic maned head popped out of a pile of books." THANK YOU FOR THE PARTY! " Rainbow Dash interrupted, "She said thank you for the party." She then walked into Twilight's kitchen.

There was a collective "Ooooh..." And then Rarity cut in.

"Well, I must say, this party was a great idea, but what are we going to eat?"

"Huh?" Rainbow said, one of Twilight's frozen pizzas ( for midnight study sessions) in her mouth.

All the girls started laughing at how silly she looked.

"Dashie!" The cyan pegasus bristled at bit at the nickname. " I ordered some warm pizza! I should be here anytime now..."

"I bet that she's hanging streamers for a house sitting party right now." Twilight muttered under her breath. She had been walking for what seemed like forever to get to the train station. Why anypony would build it so far away, she didn't understand, but at least it was closer than the airport. Twilight shuddered. Never again. As she trotted along, she watched other ponies interacting. I bet theyare having a great day. Twilight sure wasn't. First of all, she was woken up at 5:30 with a letter sent from Princess Celestia. She wanted the unicorn to accompany her to negotiations with the griffins. Her only impression of griffins was that jerk Gilda. So Twilight was less than enthusiastic about the trip. Then Spike accidentally sent her romance novel she was working on to Princess Cadance when he sneezed. (Needless to say it was inappropriate) Nothing could make this day worse. Finally Twilight reached the train station. With its slightly pink wooden walls and thatched hay roof, if not for the sign, one would think it was ski lodge. Twilight found the sign with no words slightly annoying, because if you can't read, you probably aren't going on a train. She not so politely tossed her bags to an employee and stomped into the train.

"Someone looks angry today." Twilight looked sharply up.

"Princess Celestia!" The unicorn exclaimed. The tall alicorn lowered her head and nuzzled her protege. Twilight barely noticed that the train began to move.

"So why do you want me to come with you?" Twilight asked, a little bit of annoyance creeping into her voice.

"I think it would be good for you if you got a chance to experience something like this. After all, a visier needs experience!"

Twilight froze. " Really?!!?! You would make me court viser?" Celestia nodded. "Thank you soooo much, Princess! I won't let you down!"

Princess Celestia nuzzled her again and walked over to a map of Equestria and surrounding countries. "I hope not, now tell me why the Griffin Kingdom is so important to keep good relations with." The purple unicorn thought for a bit and then answered.

" Because war would make many casualties, and they are influential with other countries."

"Anything else?" The princess motioned to the map.

"Oh! And their extreme size!" The vaguely cinder block shaped country was second in size only to Equestria.

"Very good! So that's why we are going to attend negotiations with them."

When the pizza arrived, the five mares were starving. And crabby. And most definitely NOT in the mood for sharing.

"Gimme that pizza!"

"No!"

"Pinkie, do be a lady and hand over that pizza."
"Fine..." The pink mare set it down.

MANY PIZZA SLICES LATER...

"Now what?"

"How about spin the bottle?" Pinkie innocently suggested.

"NO!" The four mares said in unison.

"TEDDY BEAR STUFFING!" Twilight jolted out of her sleep. The unicorn sat up and smacked her head on the bottom of her bunk bed. The Princess had the top bunk. ( "royal callsies" ) Twilight was stuck on the bottom bunk. The stunned mare rolled out of bed and rubbed her horn. Celestia sat in a velvet armchair in the corner, reading a book. She chuckled softly.

"Some dream you were having." Twilight staggered out of the car after a well placed glare. As the door swung shut, it snagged a certain purple unicorn's tail. Her hairs tangled in the hinges. She did not notice until her tail as snapped her back into the door with a thunk.

"Ow!" The unicorn yelped. Yanking mercilessly, the purple and pink streaked tail was pulled out of the door jamb. A few purple hairs were still visibly sticking out of the door. Even the heavy glass door couldn't block the Royal laughing fit going on inside. Through the warped glass Twilight saw a vaguely pony shaped white blur rolling around and pounding the wooden floor. The royal guards inside stood resolute. They were used to it.

With a "worst day ever" sigh, she slowly made her way to the food car. Because of the motion of the train and her dizziness, she walked... Like a drunk. Ponies gave her odd stares and a wide berth. A dishevled pony with a wild gait and a doorknob shaped bruise on her flank isn't exactly subtle. Especially not if you are the bearer of the element of magic, Celestia's personal student, and the most powerful being beside the princesses. She slid into a bar chair and ordered a pancake stack.

" And none of that fancy syrup stuff." Speedy Delivery, the waiter stood with his back to her, oblivious to her... interesting looks.

"Sure thing! One short stack com-" The waiter stared for a moment before composing himself and rushing off to relay her order. Twilight slumped down in her chair. This was going to be a long trip.
