Taylor Swift's a pegasus that can see the future.

Taylor Swift is a pegasus that can see the future. She has trouble fitting into Ponyville, especially because Rainbow Dash is jealous of her, always plotting against her. But one day Taylor has a premonition that involves Rainbow getting into serious trouble. The rest of the Mane Six have got her back, but will Taylor still manage to save the day?

Taylor Swift was just like any other normal pegasus. Well, except that she could see the future. Her premonitions were always correct. She had never gone wrong and somehow, whatever she tried to do to stop terrible events never worked out.

Taylor looked a little like Rarity. Her fur was pearly white and her blonde mane was almost like Rarity's, straight but curling at the ends. Her tail was straight and blonde, curling at the end as well. Her eyes were a pretty sapphire blue. Her cutie mark was a red guitar. She had always had a passion for music since young.

Taylor decided to move to Ponyville from her hometown, hearing about the many opportunities that lay in wait for her there. The moment Taylor landed in Ponyville in her amethyst-purple hot air balloon, she took in the air that was so different from where she was born.

It doesn't smell like Christmas, Taylor noted. She felt so alone in this. I'm just a girl trying to find a place in this world. It seemed as if she could not approach other ponies for hospitality. You would have thought Pinkie Pie would have noticed Taylor , but no. Pinkie was at Sweet Apple Acres, planning a party there. Applejack, however, was walking around lugging around a cart of Red Delicious apples. Applejack spotted Taylor and felt a sort of connection to her. A spark. The spark Twilight Sparkle felt with the rest of the Mane Six while fighting against Nightmare Moon.

Applejack approached Taylor and greeted her politely, being the down-to-earth pony that she was.

"How can ah help you? Mah name's Applejack and ah work at Sweet Apple Acres. It's where ah'm headed raht now. What's your name, sugarcube? Where ya from?"

"Thank you for your kindness," Taylor said with a smile, familiar with Applejack's country twang. "My name's Taylor Swift and I grew up on a Christmas tree farm."

Applejack was pleasantly surprised at Christmas tree farm. Applejack then said, "Come along sugarcube. Ah gotta introduce you to some o' mah best friends. You'll love them as much as ah do too. And if you don't mahnd yer bag gettin' that apple smell, you can put it in the cart. You're sweating so much and it's not even noon."

Taylor felt so welcome, so comfortable. She threw the bag she was carrying on her back on top of all the apples in the cart. Applejack made her love Ponyville already. Hopefully Applejack's friends are as nice as she is, Taylor thought, or perhaps, even nicer.

The Mane Six

In less than a quarter of an hour, Applejack and Taylor had reached Sweet Apple Acres. The first thing that Taylor noticed was the strong and shy Big Macintosh working hard, harvesting the apples tree by tree. The second thing she noticed was the ever-energetic Apple Bloom jumping around, who waved at her with a big smile plastered on her face.

When Taylor and Applejack entered the barn, Pinkie was the first to get excited, asking so many questions about Taylor. Twilight just looked at Taylor quizzically yet thoughtfully yet lovingly. Fluttershy, surprisingly, didn't seem to be shy at all. She didn't speak, but she stepped forward. Fluttershy was actually thinking about the warmth she felt the moment she saw Taylor. Rarity was pleased; she admired the fact that Taylor looked quite like her. Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow at Taylor, but managed a small smile in the end. Taylor felt threatened at Rainbow's reaction and gulped.

Applejack finally got Pinkie to quieten down. Applejack then introduced Taylor to the rest of the Mane Six. Suddenly Taylor came to a realization.

"Oh my gosh, you're the Mane Six?! The Elements of Harmony?! Oh, I am completely honoured to be in your presence, really! I've heard so much about you and I admire you ponies SO much!" Taylor exclaimed, excited.

The Mane Six blushed upon receiving the compliments.

Then Twilight spoke. "Oh come on, we're just like all other normal ponies. We may be the Elements of Harmony and we may have fought many creatures that posed a danger to other ponies, but we're still ponies. We welcome you to Ponyville!"

Pinkie, who had trying to keep her hyperactivity in finally lost it again. "HEY!! This IS a party we're planning, RIGHT?! I say we make it a double celebration as not only the Baby Cakes' turning thirteen months old, but also Taylor's arrival! OMIGOSH that was the BEST idea EVER! We're gonna need more cake, more confetti, and maybe even another of my PARTY CANNON! Don't you think that would be awesome I mean come o-"

Rainbow at last managed to shush Pinkie, who was jumping all about, with her hoof. "Yeah I think we all get the point, Pinks."

Taylor couldn't help but let out a small giggle.

Tricktionary

Rainbow Dash was curious and wanted to find out more about Taylor. She decided to hang out with Taylor.

"I've heard so much about you too," Taylor said while taking a peaceful stroll with Rainbow. "I heard about last year, how you saved the Wonderbolts and Rarity. Then you won the Best Young Fliers Competition. It was all really cool, you know!"

Rainbow blushed.

"No way," Rainbow answered. "I mean, yeah I'm cool, but I bet you could be just like me if you had lessons or something. I saw a potential in you the first time I looked at you, no kidding."

"Well Rainbow... a lot of my friends from my hometown don't know this, but I've got a really strong passion for flying. They think I'm all music and just that, but I really like sports and flying too," Taylor said with a small, shy smile.

Rainbow Dash was a little confused, but excited.

"So you got like a tricktionary or something too? Show me what you got, T!"

Taylor said, "I'm not sure if that's such a good idea... but okay."

From the moment Taylor flew into the sky, Rainbow was impressed. It was unlike anything Rainbow had ever seen before. She was too afraid to admit to herself that Taylor's stunts were totally awesome and cool. She just sat there, her mouth agape. Taylor could even pull off the Sonic Rainboom as her finale in one attempt.

Taylor then flew down to the ground in front of Rainbow. Taylor was very shocked to see Rainbow's state.

"Why do you even look at me like that? How could you?" Taylor asked. "I've always been VERY sure your moves are SO much better than mine. You don't show them to me for me to judge. I already know that they're even more amazing and mind-blowing."

Rainbow Dash just sat still there, as if rooted to the ground. Only her mouth was moving, opening and closing like a goldfish.

Taylor then nonchalantly continued, "Hey, you do know I'm participating in this year's Best Young Flyers Competition, right?"

Rainbow fainted right there and then.

'Swift' For A Reason

The following day, Taylor, Rarity, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash made their way to Sweet Apple Acres to meet up with Twilight, Applejack and Pinkie. On the way there, Rarity decided to strike up a conversation.

"Oh darling, you'll just love the party. Pinkie always throws the best parties; I can Pinkie promise you that!" Rarity said to Taylor.

Taylor, who smiled upon hearing that, replied, "Really? Wow! You've made me even more excited about this party!"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

At Sweet Apple Acres, they put on sweet tunes and almost the whole of Ponyville was there. Pinkie Pie announced Taylor and the Baby Cakes as the guests of honour.

Taylor was sitting with the Mane Six at one point of time during the party when suddenly she said she was going to get some punch.

Rainbow Dash seized the opportunity to tell the others about Taylor.

"Hey guys. You know Taylor's got a thing for flying. She's competing in this year's Best Young Flyers Competition," Rainbow said with a sort of secretive air, yet sort of dully.

"That's great! Now we have two of our friends that we can cheer for! Oh, Rainbow, don't worry, we'll cheer doubly loud this year!" Pinkie answered excitedly.

Rainbow, mildly annoyed, replied, "That's not the point. I asked her to show me her tricktionary yesterday and oh boy... I don't think I'm gonna win this year. Sorry guys, but I gotta find a way to get her right out."

"Rainbow, do you even know what you're doing?" Twilight advised. "There's no need to be jealous of her. You're still Rainbow Dash, you know."

"And she's still Taylor Swift," Rainbow muttered under her breath.

"Rainbow, you are still a lady and us ladies with class... we do not get 'jealous'," said Rarity.

Applejack spoke up, "Sugarcube, don't you go thinkin' that way. It's wrong and mean. Ah just know that Taylor supports ya, and you support her too in return. There's no need to go fahtin' lahk that. Friendship is magic, ain't it?"

"NO! I'M the best young flyer 'round here and NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE. Is going to change that, you hear?!" Rainbow yelled as she pounded her mug of apple cider on the table. Fluttershy was shaking.

Rainbow Dash walked out of Sweet Apple Acres. Taylor trotted back to the table.

"Sorry guys, did you see the line for the punch? Crazy, I tell you!" Taylor said, taking a seat. "So what did I miss? Hey, where's Rainbow?"

All the other ponies sitting around Taylor gave each other worried looks.

Coltfriends and All That

One afternoon, a week after the party, Rarity invited Applejack and Taylor to her boutique for tea. Twilight and Spike were busy re-shelving and Pinkie Pie was giving a baking class to Fluttershy and some other ponies.

Upon Taylor and Applejack's arrival, Rarity's eyes gleamed with excitement. She said, "So glad you make it, girls! Happy that you two are sporting in this girl-time thing!"

Rarity brought over onto a table a jar of chocolate chip cookies and three elegant-looking cups of tea with her magic. Each of the three mares sipped a little tea before Rarity spoke.

"Taylor, I really wish to learn more about you. Have you ever had... a coltfriend?" Rarity asked.

"Well, yes," Taylor replied truthfully. "But only one. It was a real love story we had. Until I moved here."

Taylor had a sort of sadness in her eyes, Applejack. Yet Applejack and Rarity were more curious.

"Well, sugarcube, ah don't mean ta trouble ya, but please do tell us more," Applejack said, biting into a chocolate chip cookie.

"No one could touch the way laughed in the dark. We used to talk about his dad's farm we were gonna buy someday. I remember it all too well," Taylor continued, "He thought it was funny whenever I was mad. We had all night, till I had somewhere to be, which is right here. I miss him too much. I hope right now he's like, 'come back, be here', 'cause I feel that too..."

Rarity was touched. "My, what drama!"

Applejack wiped a tear that was trickling down her face. "We're so sorry if we did anything that hurt ya, sugarcube. We didn't know. Must be really hard on ya."

Taylor replied, "Yeah, it's all kinda sad beautiful tragic..."

Rarity then said, dipping a cookie into her tea, "Well at least you've never been cheated on. I have. My first ever coltfriend, my first love. Everybody knew that he always had a girl at home. It was disgusting, I say."

"Yeah ah much prefer mutual break-ups, ya know. Mutual feelings can really make peace," Applejack said, chewing a cookie noisily.

"AJ, please! Be more lady-like for goodness sake!" Rarity scolded Applejack.

Taylor chuckled, then said, "Wow. I never knew. Seems like you girls have more sad love lifes than I do. Sorry for my self-pitying."

"No worries, darling. Applejack and I find it quite fun being single, you know!" Rarity replied.

Taylor laughed lightly, cookie in her right hoof. "Yeah, I totally understand. I love single-girl parties too."

"Thanks for coming this afternoon, girls!" Rarity said.

Taylor and Applejack in unison said, "Our pleasure!"
