Chapter 1
The Corruption of a Princess
“ Ah, my faithful student. Thank you for coming on such short notice, Twilight.” Princess greeted Twilight Sparkle with a grave expression.
“Of course princess! What is it that you need?” I asked Princess Celestia shocked by her expression. How bad could it be?
“Follow me my student.” She said to me motioning with her long beautiful wing to follow her.
As we walked to where ever she was leading me her head was hung and her wings drooped. This must be absolutely horrible. Oh Celestia, it must be a catastrophe. The princess led me through the entire castle to her bedroom. She turned to me.
“Twilight Sparkle, what I am about to show you, you must NOT tell anypony. I trust that you won’t, but you must know the punishment.” She looked me square in the eyes. I wonder if FlutterShy taught her the stare…
“Not even my friends?” I asked.
“NOPONY.” She answered shortly and sternly
“Not even Spike?”
“NO.”
“What’s the punishment?” I asked fearing the sternness and touch of fear in her voice.
“Death.” She answered quietly looking into my eyes
I gulped loudly and shook my head excepting the rules of whatever she was about to show me.
She walked to a nightstand by her bed and opened it. She did some magic and levitated a key out. She carried the key over to me.
“Hold this.” She levitated the key to me. I engulfed the key with my purple shiny magic aura around the silver key and held it with a levitation spell.
Princess Celestia walked over to her bookshelf and searched through until she found a green book with a lock on it. She levitated it over to me a sat it in front of me. She then put the key in the mysterious green book’s lock and turned it. The book opened and the princess took out a necklace.
"This necklace is yours, Twilight. Only you can use it." The Princess said
"Why do I have my own?" I asked her
"All will become clear soon, my faithful student."
The necklace was a purple twilight and was sparkly. Princess Celestia carried it over to the window and put it the sunshine so the necklace would catch the light. When the strange yet beautiful necklace caught the light, a single light beam spun around the room. The princess was not causing it to move, it was moving on its own! I let out a gasp as the light beam passed me then hit me. It hit me were my heart was. The beam was warm then started to get hot, then started to burn. The burning sensation surged through my body. I let out a scream as I saw nothing but black. Then I was silent.
My eyes opened a little only for me to see a blurry Princess Celestia. I picked up my head to see around me, but my strength failed me. I moaned and squirmed a little but could barely move. I heard unfamiliar voices and sounds, causing fear to strike my heart.
“Stop moving.” A stallion voice said
“Wha-“ My moan was silenced by my gasp. Something sharp pierced my skin, probably a needle. I felt the serum burn into me. Suddenly my eye sight was clear and I could breathe easier. I looked around the room slowly. It looked like a hospital ward, with a few other ponies in white doctor like jackets. There were many buttons, levers, and window things displaying words. I sat up frightened and intrigued by my new surroundings.
“Well the serum worked quickly.” The stallion who must have given me some drug said looking satisfied with himself.
“Who are you?” I asked with a shaky voice. I was still recovering some from whatever just happened.
“I am Keebler, nice to meet you Twilight Sparkle.” He said writing something down on a clip board.
“Where am I?” I asked shocked by the fact he knew my name.
“Welcome to sector 3. You’re in Zebrica.” He sighed
He looked down again and scribbled something down on the clip board.
. I sat there quietly frustrated and pondered why Princess Celestia sent me or brought me here. To answer my questions of why on Equestria I was here, Princess Celestia walked through the door entrance.
“Good, I thought you would be allergic to the air here.” She said as she walked over to me.
“Actually she did. I saved her with a new drug called Don’t-Die-drug.” Keebler said with a sarcastic grin.
Princess Celestia chuckled for a moment.
“Why am I here?” I asked interrupting her laugh.
“I couldn’t talk to you in Equestria, it wasn’t safe. So I teleported you here.” She answered stepping away to allow Keebler to take out a needle in my hoof.
“Why isn’t it safe?” I said cringing as the needle slid out from under my skin.
Princess Celestia sighed. “There have been multiple security breaches in the past month. Books with significance are always missing. These books contain powerful spells, Twilight. They can kill anypony, including me. They can destroy Equestria.”
I sat there silent. What does she want me to do?
“Who do you think it is?” I asked
“I know it’s not Discord. I doubt its Chrysalis. I think it’s…its Luna.” She answered hanging her head.
I gasped. It couldn’t be Princess Luna! No! She’s…she’s good now! She’s not Nightmare moon anymore. How could it be her? Why would it be her?
I sat there silently waiting for Princess Celestia to say something else.
“What are you going to do? Why do you need me?” I asked dumfounded
“I’m devising a plan to catch Princess Luna in the act or whoever is doing this. We need to end it quickly; the fate of Equestria depends on it.” Princess Celestia said in a confident leader like tone.
“What’s the plan so far?” I asked
“Follow me and I’ll show you.” Princess Celestia turned away and led me to the door.
