> Assassin's Tears III: Silent Wind Origins > by MisterGTFO > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > A Greeting from Me > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prologue Chapter: A Greeting from Me Oh, hello there. I'm Silent Wind. I'm sure you've all heard about me and most of it is probably not that good or maybe it is but anyways, I wanted to talk you all about me. Yeah, Yeah.. You already know but what you don't know is the past of Me. So, I'll start off with a little bit about the Silentblades, it's how I start off saying stories. Okay, so. When you wanted to be into the Silentblades, You had to either kill somepony or to be contacted if you were captured and in a ditch. When you were greeted by a Silentblade, they would have to kill somepony else in the name of the Silentblades. And then, you had to say the oath of the Silentblades which I forgot when I was done saying it. And with that, You were in the Silentblades. I joined when I was just a colt, Mom died giving birth to me and she made me her 'heir' as the new Silentblade Leader. Trust me, I didn't even want to be the leader. My Dad looked after me but my Brother was the one who was always by me and was there to be with me all the time. He was really kind, despite killing over at least hundreds of ponies. They also took foals also, whoever they found on a road or inside a cave and it didn't matter, the Silentblades took what ponies they could. Okay, now lets start off with my life.. I first started the Silentblades when I was only 11, Dad wanted me to join at an early age and be like my brother. I was joined and put together with Blood Roar and Lily Blade. My brother was an Advisor so he looked at my progress. My first day as a Silentblade was okay. I remembered simply hitting dummies with my hidden blades that Silent Whisper, my brother gave me when I was 8. He said it was important to our family and I simply nodded at him when he told me that. Anyways, I was hitting the dummies and so were the other two. I looked at Lily and she looked back at me, with a small smile. I had to admit. she was cute enough to make me blush but I eventually looked away, continuing to do kicks and slashes at the wooden dummies. Lily and Blood Roar were both foals like me that time, I heard Lily's village got killed by a large group of Changelings and Blood Roar was some escaped experiment far down south and that was why he could grow out claws and use them as weapons. After we were all done and about to get something to eat, Lily ran up to me and walked with me. I felt like she wanted to say something and she was trying to say something but she somehow was actually a bit shy, despite her awesome use of magic. "Oh, hi. Silent Wind, right?" She said with a happy tone. I simply walked and turned my head at hers, pulling down my purple-black hood that was attached to my Silentblade Purple-black robes. "Uh, yeah.. you're Lily right?" I asked. She nodded and softly punched my shoulder. I chuckled a little bit, She was quite nice at that moment and I took her as a good friend at that moment. I mean like she was nice and afterall.. a bit.. cute. "Yep! I hear your big brother is an Advisor. It must be great!" Lily complimented my brother. I was quite flattered to hear somepony talk about my brother. But almost everypony thought of him as the ruthless type and believe me, he was always fond of me and believed that I could do better than him. That was why I loved my brother, because he has a lot of faith in me. I later told Lily I had to meet with my brother and she nodded, going with Blood Roar to the small room that had tables where Silentblade Members would eat. My brother was walking toward the entrance, about to probably do a mission. And I stopped him in the nick of time to yell at him to get him to my attention. He smiled at me when he saw fly over to him quite fast. "Hey, bro! Where ya goin?!" I said, excitingly. I don't even know why I said that so cheerfully. Well, I was a kid that time. My brother scratched my mane when I was near him, making it messy. I trimmed it up before he said something. "I'm going to a small place I found, wanna come along?" He obliged. I decided to go since I knew our Dad wouldn't mind. Afterall, he was lazy and could care less but that didn't mean he loved us, he just thought that we should be able to fend for ourselves. And afterall, I was a bit interested where this place was. I nodded and he made a small hoof gesture, showing me to come along as we went out of the entrance gate. I believe it took several minutes to get there but we both managed to fly there. Once I got to the entrance to the place that my brother was talking about, I saw that it was a mere cave. I was about to yell at my brother for taking me to such a lame place but I decided not to since I really didn't know whatever was in the cave. My brother turned his head behind him to look at me, I looked back. "It's here. Come on..!" He whispered sharply. I walked a bit faster after him and I saw a small light once we walked for like ages. And at that moment, I was in front of a beautiful view of a small river that was inside the cave. The ceiling was broken and the sunlight came in. A few trees were still alive around there. I was never a softie for nature but I had to admit.. It was a real nice view. "It's really nice! I like it!" I said, cheefully. I ran over to the river, sat down, looking at my reflection in the river and I began to make faces. I soon stopped making faces and looked at my brother who was by me. Frowning at the river. I tried to say something to him to cheer him up, but it didn't work. "Hey, What's wrong, Whisper?" I asked calmly. He simply sat down with me, not even saying a word. His frown turned into a straight expression as he moved his head at me. "If we can grasp for something important, then we can help those close to us feel like this. Full of beauty and full of peace. And if we try hard enough we can make all of Equestria be this peaceful and beautiful. I.. cannot do that." He said. I was quite flattered by his speech. But at that point, I didn't know what he meant when he said he couldn't do that. He then admitted something that made my spine shiver a little. "Listen, Little brother.. your life, Is not what I want or what would Mom would want. Even if you are soon gonna be an Assassin, I know that you can do something good. I hope that you will be proud in your powers and use it wisely. Otherwise, you'll end up being evil. I wouldn't want that." He said to me, shaking up my hair again. I knew what he meant that day, the life of a Silentblade wasn't so good to me. I didn't like it but it was the only life I had so far at that time. I smiled as I heard the words from his mouth and I putted my left foreleg up to my forehead, making a saluting position. "Of course, I can't say no to you! I'll do my best to make you proud!" I said cheerfully. He simply laughed in happiness at me and stood up. I lowered my raised foreleg to the ground and stood up also. "Your such a good foal, I'm glad I'm your big brother!" He said with a glad tone. I grinned with a small blush. "R-Really?!" I asked, laughing. "Hey, Hey.. don't think I'll let you off!" He joked. "Oh, don't worry! I'm a tough colt." I told him. After a bit more of brotherly talk, we went back to the Silentblade Castle, doing more training over the years. That's all I remembered during my first day as a Silentblade, seeing how I've kept that memory close to me. Without my brother, Silent Whisper. I would've stayed with the Silentblades and never meet the friends and especially my Mare of my dreams. Now, since that's all I remember when I was young, lets move a few more years. It was three years now after I joined and I was now like 14 years old now. I was simply in my room, examining the markings on my left, pure-white silver hidden blade that I did not HAVE a clue about. I soon heard a knock on my door. I got off my table and laid my hidden blades on my desk and went to open it. I opened the door and saw my uncle, Magicius who was also a Advisor too, having his hood up. He looked seriously at me. I also saw Lily and Roar with him as they all were wearing their white-purple robes, showing that they already High-classed Assassins already. I was a Ringleader, wearing the same robes but it was merely Silentblade robes that were black and red. Despite being a higher and better Assassin than my teammates, I still was assigned to be with them, no matter what. I heard my uncle sigh and I questioned him. "What's up, Uncle?" I asked. He simply lowered down his hood to see me a bit more easier. I really was wondering what he was trying to say but all he was doing was sighing and other stuff. He finally gave me a scroll and levitated it towards my face and showed me a mission. I was surprised as it was my first mission. Ever. I saw that it was at a fort with several Celestial Soldiers and there was a officer there named Steel Shield. He sounded lame to me but it turns out he's killed a few of us back then. "You're on a mission, get ready. You'll be going with Blood Roar and Lily Blade. Don't fail us." He said. I quickly ran over to my desk and putted my hidden blades on and tightened the straps with my teeth. I then putted on my black bracers that Lily gave me last year ago and I prepared myself. My uncle simply chuckled and said that the mission was going to start within thirty minutes and I was about to walk my way out of the Castle but I was stopped by my brother who was now 18 at that time. He walked over to me and putted a hoof on my shoulder, slightly worried about me. "Are you sure you can do it? You're only 14, Silent Wind. I'll do it if you don't want to." He obliged. I couldn't let him do it, I wanted show my worth as a Silentblade and at that point, It was right. I shook my head and simply moved on. My brother didn't move, he understood how I wanted to do this because it was my choice. After 30 Minutes of being bored out of my mind waiting for Blood Roar and Lily Blade, I finally saw them come out of the gates and they both looked up, seeing that it was near nighttime and it was beginning to rain. It was going to be an infiltration mission and I and the others knew that. Lily made a small map appear in the air and showed where the fort was. It was only two miles away from the castle, and saw some of Lily's aura on top of both me and Roar's forehead. My sight brightened a little but once it dimmed down, I saw small white trail on the ground, It was an illusion to show us where our destination was. "Thanks, 'Lil." Blood Roar said, still having his dark, evil voice. Lily nodded and we began to fly over the cliffs of the mountain that the Castle was laying on. Lily teleported to us once we were on the ground. It was now pouring, we putted our hoods up and ran toward the small, white trail that was leading us to the fort and saw that it was around the area of the everfree forest. But we didn't care, all we simply wanted was to finish the job and hopefully, not die. > My First Kill > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter One: My First Kill After grueling hours running and oddly jumping, We all managed to get the entrance of the fort. I looked at the wooden gate and saw that it was only gonna be open when somepony worked on that mechanism to open the gate but we wouldn't let that stop us. Me and Blood Roar were Pegasi and Lily was a Unicorn so she'd easily be able to Teleport. I remembered looking up into the dark night, seeing that it was still raining. I turned my head toward the gate and saw two lightened torches near the gate and two more lit-up torches on top of the towers that were behind the gate. Lily pointed out towards two guards positioned near the gate as we were hiding behind the trees. Blood Roar prowled on the ground and that indictated that he was going to strike. Me and Lily both nodded and Lily made a small levitating knife from her aura, which was ordered to propel at anything. I really didn't know what I did, I just looked at both of them like some Silentblade Whelp. Lily went first, She ordered her blade that was levitating within her hoof and it flew at one of guard's neck and he fell down. His friend looked at him in horror and was too stupid to look at Blood Roar when he flew at him, grabbing the back of the guard's neck with his left hoof and extending his pointy, sharp claws on his right hoof and dived it into his chest where the heart was and despite of the guard's armor, it didn't do much. Both of those really unlucky guards died real fast. I looked at Lily, pretty impressed with her teamwork with Roar. "That was great, Lily. Nice job.." I whispered while smiling, not wanting to alert the enemy. It was real dark but I swore that I saw Lily blush at that point, turning her head away at me. Once we were done finishing those guards, I ordered Lily to teleport into the fort and try to not kill the guards, but to at least distract them. She nodded and teleported. I then ordered Blood Roar to simply to wait by the Captain's quarters which the officer who we were finding, Steel Shield in case if things didn't go so well and to also escort me once we were done. Despite how much he wasn't much of a fan of waiting, he grudingly nodded also. I swear, I felt like Blood Roar was gonna blow it all. I knew that the Officer we were trying to get was in his quarters since Royalty bastards like those always go inside their little houses and act like they're all that. I never did like Royalty bastards but at least Shining Armor is an exception. Anyways, Once everypony was doing their thing, I flew over the wooden walls that were around the fort. As a Silentblade, they tell you to just stick to the shadows and make them all 'suffer' and some nonsense. That's what I did and believe it or not, It worked. Once I was now near the Captain's quarters, I saw a little Celestial guard stallion near the door and was doing something I didn't care about. I simply went over near the shadows arching over the Captain's quarters and grabbed his neck and snapped it, quick and painless. After I was done dragging his body to somewhere that nopony would think of searching. I was now in front of the door to the Captain's quarters but I saw that it was pretty big, at least 2 floors top to bottom. I walked back into the shadows to think, I looked up to the windows and saw one open. My face brightened up as I flew up to the opened window and got inside. When I got inside, I gotta say, it was pretty dim and dark. Which is a good thing when I did the mission, don't get me wrong. I remembered turning my head left and right making sure that there was nopony going toward me. I looked at the middle corridor and saw a engraved door at the end of the hallway, which was emitting a small light under it. I wondered on how to get the officer, Steel Shield out and I thought of something which was supposed to obvious. I hovered over a small pot and threw it on the ground as hard as i could. It.. was pretty loud. I then heard small hoofsteps towards the engraved door and hid in one of the rooms which were empty. I heard him talk loudly, his voice.. wow. His voice was the lowest and ugliest voice I have ever heard. "Hello, is anypony here?" He cried out, looking at the pot that I shattered. I made a tiny creak as I opened the door to strike him. Amazingly, his damn head was too big to hear the creak. I stalked him and grabbed his mouth with my left hoof and drew my right hidden blade and dived it into his neck. Only took a second for him to die. His body dropped once I released my grip from him. I sighed, bucking relieved that It was done but the worst thing possible happened. I heard hoofsteps downstairs that were coming up. I looked behind me and saw two guards looking at horror at their Captain. Then they looked at me. "Assassin! Kill him!" One of the guard roared at me. They both took out an arrow with their magic and were about to propel them at me but I quickly looked at the window that I came in and ran towards it and the moment I heard the arrows come at me, I charged at the door, smashing it in the process. I made a piercing whistle and I saw Blood Roar come out and turned his head to his left, seeing two guards. He flew at them, tackling them on the ground and making a quick swipe to their throats. After that, he flew back to me. Lily teleported to us too and saw dozens of guards surrounding us. She quickly thought of something and putted each of hooves on both me and Roar and we teleported out. Last thing I know, we're in the Everfree Forest. I looked back and saw the fort behind us, in complete havoc. I chuckled and tried to walk but my left foreleg was shocked in pain. I looked at it and saw that the arrows that those guards propelled at me. Lily gasped as she saw this and putted my left foreleg over her back. She then said something to Blood Roar. "Hey, I'll bring Silent Wind back. You go on ahead to tell them we did it." Lily said to Blood Roar. I looked at Blood Roar and he nodded with a small 'hmph'. He flew up, going ahead of us. Lily looked at me, slightly worried. "Are you okay?" She said to me. I nodded slowly. "My whole face and robes are drenched in water, but other than that.. I'm just great.." I joked. Despite where we were, she chuckled at my humor and we began to move towards the Silentblade Castle that was only I think.. half a mile away. After we walked for minutes, we managed to get inside the castle. Both Magicius and my brother ran towards me, seeing that I was injured in my left foreleg. I was fine after Lily took out the arrows out of my arm, which was painfully excruciating, grunting and squeaking like a little filly when she was taking them out. Lily smiled and said that I was fine and she would take care of me. My brother and uncle nodded and went back to whatever they were doing. I was sure Blood Roar was boasting how he did everything and we did nothing much. Boasting bastard. Once Lily putted me on my bedroom in my room, she also brought a small box full of aid and bandages. Trust me, she's that prepared. She opened her box and took out a roll of bandages and told me to take off my robes and my leather sleeves which were kind of tight that covered up to your hoofwrist, those tight leather sleeves were colored also, red and black. Just like my robes but anyways, I agreed to taking my robes off for a moment.. despite it being really awkward. She began to say a few things to me. "Now, you might wanna be a bit still, I need to bandage your left foreleg.." She said. I simply nodded at her, showing that I knew. Her eyes moved down slightly as she began to bandage my left foreleg. It felt like she kind of wanted to say something to me and I knew what she was going to say. She made a long sigh, still bandaging my foreleg. "Silent Wind, I think we did pretty well, didn't we?" She said. At that point, I knew what she was really trying to do but I didn't say. After all, it was the perfect setting and I didn't want to ruin. I simply nodded but also said a few things. "Yeah, I guess we did. You did great." I complimented. She simply smiled at me and nodded. After she was done bandaging my arm, I putted my Silentblade Robes and tight leather sleeves and I thanked her for bandaging my whole left foreleg. It wasn't perfect but I am sure Lily bandages forelegs way better than Roar. She was about to leave but I stopped her a little bit since.. I kind of wanted to talk to her, which was weird. "Hey, you going to leave already?" I sat back on my bed with Lily. She began to blush. So much that she turned away. "Oh.. well.. I-I just want to get to bed." She tried to lie but I knew that she did want to spend a bit more time with me but She was too shy to even talk with me, even more shy than Fluttershy and that, you never ever see. I smiled at her and she just gasped and walked quickly towards the door. I tried to stop her and I did, well half of that is right. My right hoof was on top of her robes and She tripped and she quickly spunned to me and she grabbed my back of my neck and brought me down with her. It was pretty hard and It kind of hurted. I really hated being in pain that night since I was already getting pain already and that was the last thing I needed. Lily simply looked at me, with her back on the floor. I blocked her with both of my forelegs but that was because I was getting up, n-not that I wanted to do that. Okay, I don't know what had happened next was simply her or Me since I was standing there like a complete idiot just looking at her. I began to blurt a few things since it was really awkward and I was a bit embarrassed to see her like that, on the floor. "Uh.. sorry.." I mumbled. She didn't say anything. I then began to look at her snout which was even more weird since I never ever look at that. My head deliberately began to move down really slow and her head was moving up a little. My eyes were halfed-closed and so were hers. Despite how damn calm I was, I felt my heart beat really fast, as if it was going to burst. Anyways, My head was almost near her's and we both closed our eyes as we began to feel each others breathing. Man, I'm getting corny but still, this is what was really happening. I'll be honest to you, before I met Twilight, I had other feelings for another Mare.. Lily. But, back to the story. I really didn't know what to do at that situation so guess what I did? You bet your flanks you know what I did. I kissed her, real slowly but trust me, I made it memorable but once I kissed her, My eyes spontaneously widened. I thought Lily was going to pull away, run away like she would but instead, She returned it with full force. Which was just awesome. > Killing Royalty > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter Two: Killing Royalty We kinda kissed for a while, She soon pulled away, a small trickle of saliva connecting to her tongue and mines. Yeah, we slipped the tongue, which was actually really good. She began to giggle at me as she got up. I got up also, wondering what the hay she was giggling at. I shot her a look, jumping on my bed and sitting on it with my forelegs crossed. "What's so funny?" I said, almost forgetting what happened. She merely stopped laughing at me as I said those words, She merely walked towards the door and once she took her box with her, she looked back at me as she was about to leave. "You're a really good kisser, I'd like to do this, next time, Good night. Wind.." She said in a somewhat-seducing voice as she gave me a quick peck and left my room, sastified.. I just scratched my head, acting and smiling like a total idiot. I mean like, come on.. It's not like everyday, you see your best friend who is a Mare of course, be kissed by you and like it by returning it. But now, lets go a bit more into one year. If I talk about all of what's happened when I was 14, then I'll be telling this story for quite a while and Twilght'll be worried sick that I haven't come home yet. Now, lets get to more important stuff when I became 16. When I was 16, I was two years away for my dad to confirm me as my Mom's heir. I really wondered why Mom didn't pick Silent Whisper since he was older than me and he was 20 at that time. Now, I remembered a pretty important memory. It was around nighttime and I was about to go to sleep. I putted my robes off of me for tonight and hitted the beds. No, I didn't hit them, It's a meh..meh..metaphor, yeah that's it. Anyways, as I was dozing off to sleep, I heard a knock my door. I wondered who was it since it was like Midnight. I opened the door and saw my brother, Silent Whisper. He looked at me with a serious look. I looked back at him with surprise and spoke at him. "Hey, bro.. What is it..?" I moaned, showing that I was terribly tired. He simply walked in my room and began to say a few things. Well, I wanted to talk to you about a private mission. It's real risky and you don't have to take it if you want." He said. I was there, wondering what the hay he wanted me to take and what this private mission was. He took out a small rolled-up scroll out from his robes and threw it on the floor, making it roll till it was flat. I began to read it and I was real surprised what the mission was, It was assassination on the Ambassador of Canterlot. One only but I knew the Ambassador, Tall Fall. Stupid name, right? Even though I've been over an estimation of over 90 missions in just a year, This one was by far, the hardest. I debated if I should do this for some reason and I looked back at my brother once I was done reading the contract, wanting to ask him a few questions. "Hey, will I be doing this with Roar and Lily?" I asked him. He simply shooked his head, indicating that the mission was a solo-stand alone mission for one Assassin available. It took a while to think it over, but I thought of the praise I'd be given by Dad and everypony who was a Silentblade but I knew it'd only last a day but It'd be worth it. I mean like even though I was Silentblade-blood related, I was still payed bits for doing my missions and the good thing is back then, the Canterlot Guards didn't care to keep track of Silentblade Criminals since there were a lot of us which meant we could go to Canterlot and buy a few things, unnoticed. I gave a nod at my brother and said I'd do it and he putted his left hoof on my right shoulder. My eyes got fixated on his left hoof. "Alright then, good luck. Little brother." He said. Even though he was the brother I loved, I didn't like it when he called me, 'Little brother'. It was a bit embarrassing to me. Unfortunately, The time of the mission was.. well of course, 1AM. Yeah, Silentblade Assassinations always are bound to happen during the night or at least before the sun comes up. Anyways, I putted all of my equipment on, My black-leather Bracers, My red-black Silentblade robes that also went with the tight leather sleeves that sticked to my forelegs and of course, My most useful and closest things to me, My hidden blades. Now, I know what you're all thinking about my hidden blades. They're not as long or thin as a needle spike. They're actually big. Same size but half the length of regular Gladius blades. They're a bit heavy though, even today. But now, let's get to the story, I'm slacking way too much from the story. Anyways, I didn't look back, I just speed-walked towards the entrance and made my way out. I looked out and saw that it was still dark. I yawned and flew really fast towards Canterlot, which still had only like three lights lightened up in the distance. I shrugged that off and moved on ahead, with the same, emotionless and bland face as usual. Once I got to Canterlot, there were a lot of more Guards than usual. I wondered what was going on and putted the pieces together. I think they must've found out on an attempt on the Ambassador's life or whatever. When I found that out, I cursed my brother since he was putting me in a really tight spot. I simply stayed by the buildings shadows, they didn't spot me which was good. I jumped towards one roof to the other since I usually do my Assassination missions that way first. Once I was near the embassy of Canterlot, I saw at least two guards by the entrance, being greeted and looked on by their Superiors and giving them stupid compliments. You know, I don't even know why.. they have an embassy in Canterlot. Seems stupid. I hid under a arching roof and I saw that it was beginning to have thunder in the air. I heard small crashes of Thunder on top of me but didn't look up. After their superiors were gone, out of sight, I stood up where they still couldn't see me and I jumped down at both of them, each one having my hidden blades inside their heads which of course, instantly killed them both. I re-sheathed my hidden blades into my leather bracers and that also released the two Guards, their bodies simply falling to the ground. Seeing that I was clear, I made my way inside. I had to say though, when I went inside, nopony was in the building since there would be noises usually in buildings in Canterlot. Relieved, I walked up the second floor stairs and soon after, found my way across the main hallway which at the end, lead to the third floor. I had already looked over the inside map of the Embassy and knew that the Ambassador was on the third floor in his office. Doing who knows what. He could've been clopping for all I care. Anyways, I walked forward and I saw one thing that I feared, I saw three Guards in front of the hallway that was leading the third floor stairs then gasped. It only took one look at me to know what I was. "Assassin! Kill him!" One of the guards sneered. I merely snickered and flew at them, conducting wind. Yes, I mastered to use my natural-born ability to manipulate wind. Strangely these days, It's impossible to conduct wind with Unicorn magic since wind has no form and is just a wind of the bulk movement of the air which my brother told me, that made no sense at all to me. As I passed the two guards who were passing me. They got cutted with the high winds I made in the hallway when I was flying fast at the third guard and luckily, the sharp wind managed to lay a cut on both of their throats. I tackled the third guard and made no hesitation to dive my left hidden blade into his chest, I pierced his heart and the three that I took care of died in seconds. You see? Canterlot Guards were really weak those days. In fact, I don't think they've improved at all and if they did, they'd better thank Shining Armor, that is if they all even improved. Luckily, when one of the guards sneered sharply at me, It wasn't loud enough to alert anypony so, I got lucky there. I got to the third floor and oh dear, there was way more guards than I thought. I counted and there were six of them. That's right. But luckily it wasn't a simple hallway. It was a big, single room full of crates or whatever and it was like a warehouse. It had lots of stuff in the place. Some stacked and some weren't. Some of the lights were off, which I took to my advantage. I had to make it silent as possible. Once there were no Guards in my sight, I found the closest crate I could get to and opened it's top and hid in there. I soon heard a Canterlot guard sighing and near the crate. I knew he was sitting on the ground, against the crate I was in because the crate I was in nudged when I heard the sigh. I raised the top a little and opened it and covering the guard's mouth with my left hoof and I then gave him a executing blow with my hidden blade, diving into his spine and I took him in the crate as I got out. I knew I had to avoid the parts that had the lights so I looked ahead of me and saw three lights opened. I looked to my right and saw another path made my the stacked crates. I had no idea what they were doing with the crates. I mean like, it's not like an embassy to store crates. My curiousity got to my mind, as I check one of the crates and I couldn't believe what it held. It held weapons. Lances, spells, you name 'em. I know what you're gonna say, but you don't know what else it was holding also. It was holding stacks of papers that I know were going to be putted on the streets. It was bounties on every Silentblade to date, including Me. I held the most bits for killing a lot of people and realized that they were keeping dates on us, on every Silentblade. Other Ambassadors too. The only reason this mission made me feel a lurching feeling within my stomach was because I've never killed Royalty but I had to admit, It was really sastifying. But I'm done with assassinating ponies these days. When I realized that, that's when I really wanted to kill him. I knew the Ambassador was the one doing this since he does most of the bounties and the Captain does the ordering of who is supposed to be putted with a bounty. I mean, think about it, This is the pony who was putting my Marefriend, My friends, and My brother's lives in danger. I knew that killing him won't do anything, but I didn't care. All I wanted was to eradicate him from the face of Equestria. So, once I got to the offices, I had to kill only.. four.. Yeah, four of them were around the office rooms. I simply killed them, well in bad ways that I don't really want to talk about. Anyways, after killing them all, I finally got to the Ambassador's and once I putted my left ear on the door and also trying to open the door only to realize that it was locked. I heard two voices. I decided that it was about time to wrap up the mission and end another Ambassador's life by my hooves. Once again. I took a deep breath and pulled back from the door to charge at it, which would force the door to break open. Once I was back enough, I took my wings out, revealing them and I finally charged at the door with full force. > Another Day, Another Problem > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter Three: Another Day, Another Problem I managed to smash down the door. I managed to see the guard who was also with the Ambassador come at me, trying to kill me. I simple made a swipe to his throat with my right hidden blade and he fell down. I re-sheathed my right hidden blade and walked towards him. He was cowering in the corner, looking at me with horror. He couldn't do anything to me since he was a stupid Ambassador. But, he even attempted to try and resist me but it didn't go well. "S-Stay back! I'll zap you!" He stuttered. I saw his horn glow more and more. But, that didn't stop me, I simply drew one of my blades and I swinged it with all of my might that was enough to cut off his horn. Now, blood was now squirting out of his damn horn and he was crying and babbling in pain. I putted my right hoof up to his mouth to muffle his mouth and I looked at him with total twisted feelings. I dunno why, but I felt like killing that day. But, Shade wasn't even awakened that time so it was a bit odd after I remembered that. Anyways, I chuckled more as his tears of fear were coming out and I raised up my left hoof and took out my hidden blade from my bracers and pointed it under him, which was pointed at his heart. He simply looked down, failing to see it. I think. I was still angered, seeing how that Ambassador was putting everypony close to me in danger, and that including putting my life in danger too. I said a few things to him before I executed him. "You.. are trying to kill me?! My.. life?! Somepony like you.." I growled, shaking my left hoof with my hidden blade that was still pointing at his heart in rage. "...deserves to die like a dog." I then plunged my left hidden blade into his heart, making him gasp for a moment and then his once-risen head fell down. Limp as a ragdoll. Relieved that I was now done, I released his dead body and it fell on the ground. I looked at the big window and saw that it was pointing towards the Everfree Forest. Of course, the Embassy had to be on the edge of Canterlot. But, I mean like.. I'm not trying to say that's bad or anything. Anyways, I looked at his desk and saw a small packet-stapled papers and I quickly flipped it to the page that I thought that it would be suiting to see. I felt like my body was freezing when I saw and read it. It turns out, they were keeping eyes on the Silentblades and guess they had enough of us and made an operation for the complete eradication of the Silentblades. I couldn't believe it. I knew that in my mind, I had to take it back to the Castle as soon as possible. I heard a bunch of hoofsteps and looked at the entrance that was no longer had a door it. I quickly took the papers with my mouth and flew out the window the moment the guards came. I fell down near the sewage drain and felt that the ground was a bit wet. But I didn't care, all that mattered was that the papers would be sent to my brother. I quickly flew back to the Castle in a hurry, wanting to go back to tell them that I did complete my mission and what I also found out. I managed to get back to the Castle, falling down from exhaustion and still having the papers holding with my mouth. I saw my brother run over to me with a worrying look and I smiled since most of the torches were out for the night and he could still see me, wow. Anyways, he ran over to me and the first thing he questioned was the papers in my mouth. "Why do you have a pair of papers holding in your mouth?" He asked me. I stood up shakingly and handed him the papers. I simply nodded at him and walked past him. Wanting to go to bed. "I completed what you wanted.. but, You'd better take a look at those papers. I'm really tired, lets talk about it tomorrow.." I muttered but loud enough so that he could hear me. I looked back and he nodded at me and took the papers with his mouth and walked to the left hallway. I frowned, knowing that he'd be shocked by what he was about to see in those papers. All I remember that night was falling in my bed and going to sleep. That's it. But I do know what had happened over the past two days and trust me, they're the most important part that I'm going to tell you. Since I feel like you should know or whatever. Geez, I am way too cheesy. I woke up, to see the light in my face. I got up and stretched my forelegs to make me feel a bit better. I putted my stuff on and heard a knock on my door. I shook my head since almost every single day, I hear my door be knocked. It's really annoying but when you're in the Silentblades, You gotta live with it. I went to my door and opened it. Once again, it was my brother with a serious face. I felt like I was in serious trouble but believe it or not, I wasn't. He simply turned his serious face turned into a smiling face and he patted my shoulder. At that point, I was completely confused, but I remembered that I turned something in to him. I guess I kind of forgot about it because I was so tired that I had forgot everything that I had done. He locked his look on me and told me something. "Dad wants to see you. Come on." He walked as I followed him. I really did wonder what my Dad wanted to say to me. I mean like all Dad had ever done was either say "Good job" or "You suck, try better." To think of it, he's really not caring and is very lazy-like though I still love 'im, Really! Anyways, I got to the throne room and saw my Dad on the throne. I guess that you can say that my Dad is the substitute leader until I turned 18 so that I could be confirmed to be Mom's heir. Oddly to this day, I don't really know why Mom didn't pick Silent Whisper. Maybe.. she saw potential in me before she died but.. I'm only saying that. I don't truly know. My Dad didn't really smile at me, I guess that was common since he never smiles that much. I saw him stand up and fly down to me. I looked at my brother and he lowered his head down and left both me and Dad. Once my brother was out, I turned my head back to my Dad, he looked at me, still having a bland-straight face. "Look's like last night, y'found something huge. Wind." He said my nickname. I really didn't like it when he said that name. It's just too childish for me to accept it but I just did for some reason. I replied back to him with a smile. "I did, did you see it?" I asked. He nodded at me. I already knew that he saw it because whatever we find, it goes straight to Dad. No questions about it but this one, It looks like he wanted to talk to me about what I gave to my brother. He began to walk out of the throne room and I looked back, frowning. He then said something to me that made my eyes go wide. "You're a good kid. Nice job. It wasn't official so we dodged something huge. Thanks, Kiddo. Today is.. Winter's Rise of the 16th. I gotta go to the altar room to do something. It'll take a while so I'll be in that room for a few hours. 'Till then, You're good for today." He thanked me a lot and with that, he left the throne room to the Altar room. At that age, I knew what he was about to do. During Winter's Rise of the 16th, there was a seal on a coffin inside the room and.. What was in there.. was a entity I had fought.. Deathmoon. Since Deathmoon was sealed many years ago on Winter's Rise of the 16th, It would always weaken on every anniversary so that's why Dad went out to reinforce the seal on the coffin. After having a talk with my Dad, I did a few things I don't like to talk about. I simply sat in my room, looking in the ceiling. I thought about several things that other ponies had told me. The most one I remembered was when Silent Whisper told me about how my life wasn't the life he particularly wanted. But to me, it was okay. Not perfect, but okay. Soon after, I heard a creak from my door and saw a Pony, Lily. I stood up and sat on my bed, wondering what she wanted. She sat on my bed and gave me a small peck and pulled her head back. "You know, You can just spend your time with me. It's a bit boring since you do most of your missions by yourself now and I can see you often.. Trust me, it's a bit boring to do contracts with Roar, Lance and Brute. Are you going to be an Advisor?" She asked. I really couldn't answer her question since I didn't even know. I was either going to be leader or an Advisor. Either way, I didn't care much since being an Advisor would be a bit tiring and being Leader would be even more tiring. I looked down for a moment but my head soon got brought up by Lily's hoof, putting her sight on mines. "I.. don't know.. I'll either be that or Leader. Either way, it really doesn't matter." I answered. She took her hoof off my left cheek and looked down. I was really tired so I couldn't really do anything much with her. I hugged her and broke it off. Simply put it, I gave her a short hug. "Listen, Today.. I didn't get much sleep so.." I yawned. "..I'll see you tommorow.." She nodded. I wanted to think she understood but I couldn't be real sure.. So I questioned her a bit just to be sure that she thought I was acting odd. "I'm really sorry I can't do anything with you. So, don't ha-" My sentence was interrupted by Lily. Who had rammed her lips into mines. At that point, I simply just went with it. She soon broke her kiss and at point, I think she kind of understood. "I understand, Silent. Don't worry, I won't hate you." Lily said, giggling. She kissed me on the cheek and left my room. I laid back down on my bed and slept because I had only had small hours of sleep yesterday and I wanted to make that sleeping time up. Now, I don't want to rush into things but I'm no story-teller, I'm just here to tell you about Me and only about Me and My life as a Silentblade. So, I woke up to hear a large knock on my door. I'm real serious, why do ponies have to always knock on my door every bucking time. It's way too much to have your room door knocked every. Single. Day. Anyways, I woke up and went to my door. There stood my brother, He had face of mixed seriousness and concern. I knew something was wrong and I just didn't know. "There's something wrong with Dad. I'll try to explain what's going on later but for now, come on, Brother." He said quickly. I didn't want to refuse him since he was my brother and I still had all of my clothes and things on me. To me, I thought he was just overexageratting over some cold that Dad got because usually, nothing bad or ominous never happens in home which is the Castle. Unfortunately, I never knew anything at that time.. Because at that moment, It was the beginning of the end. > Making a New "Friend" > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter Four: Making a New "Friend" I quickly moved with my brother, wondering what the hay had happened to Dad. It was surprising to me at that time because there was never anything wrong with Dad that me, my brother, or anypony knew about. Once we both go to the throne room, I saw Dad, sitting on the throne as usual. He didn't look any different or anything. I was about to turn around and scold my brother for taking me to the throne room for no reason but I somehow felt.. not comfortable being by Dad since I saw shadows covering his face since it was nighttime. His eyes were all red which wasn't real nice to see. His coat was from slight dark-grey to actual dark-grey and even that scared my brother. His mane wasn't too different though, it was still white and no, He's not that old. I turned my head to my brother and went near him to whisper. "There's something wrong.. m-maybe it's just a sickness thing.." I whispered nervously. I was hoping it was just that but my brother shooked his head slowly. I'm sure he knew that it was no sickness because I pretty sure that my brother never knew any kind of disease that would cause personality changes other than getting depressed which wasn't a disease. "Not possible, I'm sure that there's something wrong.. I just don't.. don't know, Silent Wind." He said, lowering his head in confusion. I backed away from Silent Whisper and looked at my Dad, scratching my black, spiked mane. Even though I was a bit uncomfortable being by my Dad when I was near him, I managed to sum up some courage and walked towards my Dad. I looked behind while walking and saw my brother, wanting to stop me but he didn't since I think he knew what I was gonna do so he simply let me do what I was gonna do. I walked and walked until I was several feet away from my Dad, looking up at him with concern. I decided to speak up, itching to know what was going on. "Hey.. Dad, are you okay?" I asked, shaking a bit. He began to chuckle more and more which was really weird. I swore that I saw him grin a bit.. he looked down at me since I saw his eyes hover down at me. "I have never felt better." He growled. That completely surprised me because Dad never liked saying that because it made him sound like royalty. If he'd say that, it'd be like "I've never felt more greater". That's the Dad I know but this one, was just odd as buck. I decided to hold my ground and try not to back off. As I stood there, I heard my Dad say the oddest thing I've ever heard. "Ah, yes. I wanted to speak to you with.. an idea I had." He said. That was surprising since Dad was never like coming up with ideas and for sure, he was not that idealistic with ideas. Despite being brain-numb from his personality, I decided to just listen. "I.. want to release something.. the Midnight realm that is." He said intently. I was completely caught off guard by this because I know that every past Leader had forbid anypony including themselves to unlock it's portal because that was pratically the gateway to hell since the Midnight realm was where evil ponies went and were turned into demons or devil-ponies. But I only know that from a book that my brother forced me to read. Okay, so before I move on, I'll tell you a bit about it.. You see, during the first risings of the Silentblades, It used to be a devil-worshiping cult and the cult killed whoever was against their teachings I guess and I guess Shadow Moon, the first leader of the Silentblades decided that it was not right worship things like those and those who didn't like his idea, almost destroying the whole bucking world by opening the door to their "gods". Shadow Moon was able to prevent that and with a seal, sealed the portal. With that, the world was saved from dumbflank annihilation. Good, now that you know a bit, let's get back to where I left off.. I was about to question Dad a lot. But decided to stand there with an angered expression, looking back and forth at my brother, then to my Dad who was being kind of an idiot. I had no idea what was going on that night and I couldn't put my damn hoof on it. I soon locked my sight on my brother, hoping he would object to this. "B-Bro?! You can't accept this! You can't!!" I objected. I knew he couldn't do anything. He frowned and looked away from me. That's where I simply got out of the damn throne room, angry as heck. "Buck this.. I'm leaving..!!" I muttered sharply and loud enough for my brother to hear. I looked to my right at my brother as I got closer to the big double-door. I heard my brother say something before I left. "Hey, wait!" He tried to stop me but I was too frustrated to even listen to my own older brother. I mean like we're talking about a dangerous portal that only the leaders could summon and my Dad was going to "release" and summon those demons and don't think Celestia can even stop them. In numbers, that is. I didn't know where I was going, I was just gonna leave. You think I might be acting like a moron, but if you were me, You'd do the same thing if you cared. That night, I left where I spended my life. When I went out, I saw that it was snowing a bit because it was Winter's Rise of the 16th that night. Once I was out of the castle, I looked back, upset that I didn't much support. I turned my head away from the castle and I looked down on of the cliffs that lead deep down since the castle was in a celestia-forsaken mountain, to the everfree forest, flying down. I stepped on the green ground and just walked. I didn't know where to go nor did I want to go anywhere. As I went into the everfree forest, I stopped as I heard a rustling while I was sitting on a large rock, then a small barrel on the back of my head. I wondered who was it but I heard the voice. I didn't know who it was but I knew what it was. "This' quite a surprise t'see a Silen'blade here." The feminine voice said. I didn't particularly turn my whole body around otherwise, I'd get shot in the head. That would be messy. I decided to speak up, wanting to know who the hay this mare was. "You know us? That's so nice of you. I was just leaving the castle but it kinda looks like I bumped into a little filly." I mocked. At that point, she irked and I heard a clicking noise. I knew that it was about time for that hoof-gun to be laid off my head. It was getting irritating. I quickly turned around to my left and slapped her gun out of my face with my left hoof. She recovered from my hoof-slap and she turned her gun real fast on me and I dodged a shot with my head moving out of the way. I tackled her down with a shoulder charge and pinned her down with my hooves blocking her's. I wanted to question this Mare real quickly, because nopony really goes near the mountains and looks up into an large object which nopony other than all of the Silentblades know how to get to. "I'm gonna ask you, why are you so close here?" I asked. I thought she wasn't gonna say anything but turns out, she wasn't a coward and pratically spat at my face. "What'd ya think, mate? I'm gonna end the Silen'blades! It's pretty personal and I'm a bit pissed off. If your going to stop me, that'll mean I have t'kill ya!" She explained to me, without any stuttering. I got off her and hovered a few feet away from her and told her a bit too since she wasn't trying to kill me now. "Y'know.. I'm a bit pissed at them too. But what can I do. eh? I just can't kill 'em all now, can I?" I said but then, I didn't have to kill them.. I just had to stop Dad from doing the stupidest thing ever. The mare had an intrigued look at me. I looked back at her with a questioning look. "I can help ya with that, there. That is.. if ya help me get up there." She begged. I didn't feel so well with this Mare and I wanted to just leave. I then heard another rustling and drew my right hidden blade, which was just a normal one since I only had one special blade which was on my left. I saw the figure. It was my brother, Silent Whisper. I was a bit surprised he found me but for him, it's a bit easy to find me since I talk so bucking loud. He ran towards me and the Mare did nothing, surprisingly. "Silent Wind, what're you doing here?! And who's this Mare!?" He said, looking at the golden-coated mare with two rifles as her cutie mark that was making an "X" and a crosshair over it. I looked at her too and didn't notice her appearance. She was wearing a blue scarf that looked hoof-made. She was wearing a belt that had small pouches around her haunches. And lastly, she was wearing a beret.. of green. Pretty obvious there.. and her mane was brown, like smooth brown. Wait, why am I talking about this? Nevermind.. let's just get back to where I stopped at. Anyways, my brother was a bit confused on why I was talking to her and I explained a bit on how I wanted to stop Dad from doing.. that. I was gonna say a bit more but we both got interrupted by the Mare who was just sitting, looking at both of us. "If you two should know, 'names Golden Shot." She said. It was quite a catchy name but I didn't put it up my mind till today. I explained that the Mare would help us if she was allowed to get up there and attempt to do something that is "responsible" for whatever caused her to have a personal thing with the Silentblades. He nodded and told me a few things also which made my eyes slightly widen. And yes, I already knew it was Golden Shot but come on, I like how I'm doing this story of mines. "If you should know, Dad is beginning to open it. With the.. what's it called? I think it was called The Sanguis Nocte Baculus." He said. If you don't know what that means, I think it stands for Bloodnight Staff that was used for rituals to "call" their "gods" far back. Oooh, scary. But still though, that Staff is real strong, the reason it's so essential was because it was used to open the gateway to the Midnight realm. It was encased within the altar room which had the sealed coffin so that nopony would be able to touch it other than the Leader. I guess Dad went to the room and took it so that he could commence the ritual to try and open the gateway. We had to be real quick since it could of been any minute that Dad would buck up Equestria again and I was still too young to give up. "Bro, let's go stop Dad. We have to. I'll hold on to.. the mare." I said. He nervously agreed and flew on ahead of me towards the castle. I gave Golden Shot a gesture to get on my back and her cheeks flushed red and I knew what she was thinking. "Oh no! don't even think about that, come on and hurry, We gotta go!" I ordered. She jumped on my back and I spanned out my wings and flew to the Castle. To go stop complete annihilation of Equestria. I wanted to really stop Dad as soon as possible. I had to stop him, no matter what. For some reason at that point, I felt slightly good, feeling of what it felt like to be a good hero and all. > Blood on My Hooves > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Final Chapter: Blood on My Hooves It was a bit tiring to hover all the way up to the Castle, but we all managed to get there in no time. With the help of me and Silent Whisper of course. I saw that Dad indeed took some big pre-cautions. For example, He put out three Silentblade Assassins at the entrance to keep a look out on me. I had no idea what was going on in Dad's mind, but I had to find something out, I had to! But unfortunately, I didn't know how to get in without being spotted and if I was spotted, shit would just hit everything. We all dashed over several big bushes to hide ourselves. Weird, right? Bushes on top of a mountain. Anyways, I saw Golden Shot reach her small belt bags with her muzzle. I knew what she wasn't gonna do, I gave her a gesture which ordered her to not try and kill them. She smirked at me at putted the white, large round that was held within her mouth and she slipped it into the small, enclosed slot that had two folds covering it which also slided out when she putted the round in to it. She chuckled at Me and I just looked at My brother and He looked back also. "Don't worry, I won't kill 'em." She promised, pointing her large barreled gun on her right hoof at the three Silentblades that were on the top around the entrance. She shot it, making a small cloud of smoke around the three Stallions. We all raised up our bodies to see what was happening to them. They all fell down, I gasped and turned my head at Golden Shot. She knew I was gonna get the wrong idea and said something real calmly. "I just knocked them out with sleeping round.. don't ya worry, mate. Just don't inhale it while we're going through it." She warned. I looked back at my brother with a nod and he responded back to me with another nod also. Lily Blade gasped in a large amount of air and held it as she walked to the Castle. When I saw her do that, I guess that I had to do that too. Since I wouldn't want to get knocked out, wake up to see all of Equestria in ruins. That'd be horrid to wake up to. Anyways, We all held our breaths as we opened the gate. Once it was opened, We all quickly ran into the Castle, closing the door behind us. Once it was safe, we all took deep gasps of breath while looking back at the door, seeing that we were out of the danger zone. When we all looked back, everything was dark but not dark enough to be unable for us to move on. We managed to get through without anything. Until I saw Lily Blade and Blood Roar. Lily Blade had a large frown on her face, not even looking at Me. Blood Roar looked at me with an angered glare. I looked back at him with a questioning look. "You bastard.. Why did you betray us!?" He yelled at me. All the sudden, the nearby torches lit up. Golden Shot, Silent Whisper including Me, rotating our heads left and right to wonder what the hay had happened, but we soon refocused our eyes on Blood Roar, who was still glaring at me like the kind of idiot he was. I answered back to him while keeping a clear, calm mind and voice. "Because, I don't want this world to end. Everything right now is good, but because of My Dad.. Equestria is going to bucking be destroyed because Stubborn ponies like you, can't understand that these demons won't be on your side, they'll just kill all of Equestria. Besides, this is my Family matter. You've got nothing to do with this." I answered him, ending with a soft sigh. I heard lots of grunts. Of anger from Blood Roar and I knew that his temper was going to explode. He never had patience with other ponies. "Shut up!!" He shouted, hovering in the air and then charging at me with full force, his claws out in an attempt to stop Me. My brother reacted the only way he knew, he hopped in front of me and touched his special armband around his left foreleg wrist which had the Silentblade Insignia, painted on the bandage armband. The oddest thing about his armband was that it was indestructible even if it was just a simple bandage the size of an armband and he didn't just take it off by unwrapping, it was just like a wristband which I thought was odd to this day. Anyways, I saw a small cloud of smoke around his left foreleg and Me and Golden shot focused our eyes on a hurling scythe with Silent Whispers foreleg pointing up, indicating that he hurled it himself. The color was of a white and grey handle and the slightly curved blade had a slight jagged edge of the white, steel blade to it. I thought he was just gonna hit Blood Roar with the blade of the Scythe but once I saw him grab the long chain which despite having a long chain, still had a bunch of chain rope around his left foreleg. He amazingly wrapped the chain around Blood Roar, making him grunt in surprise. Silent Whisper pulled the chain as hard as he could to the ground and he threw Blood Roar to the ground hard enough to make a cloud surround Blood Roar when he slammed down real hard to the ground, making him grunt once again in pain as he was in a small cloud of smoke. I looked at Golden Shot to see her sigh and rub her neck. She then hovered in to the air and flew at Blood Roar as I looked at her, making an arch as she held down Blood Roar with her right foreleg against his neck with her gun helping her support her hold on Blood Roar, making him unable to move at all and only able to squirm just to try and get out from her grip. I looked forward and didn't see Lily anymore. I guessed that it was a bit too much for her and She decided to just run. I don't blame her, I'd want her to run so that She wouldn't be target by either Golden Shot or Silent Whisper. Golden Whisper raised her left hoof all the way up in the air and swunged it down on Blood Roar's face, making him smirk and spit out a trickle of blood, making it emit a spattering sound as hit the ground. Me and Silent Whisper looked at each other and nodded. We knew that we'd have to move a bit closer to Golden Shot just in case, if Blood Roar got loose again. He's a real hard one to keep under control since he was squirming to get out of Golden Shot's grip. She just held his neck even more harder, possibly, if more harder, would break his cervical neck. I approached him just to talk to him, he was being the most idiotic Stallion I had ever seen. "What is wrong with you, Roar?" I asked. He didn't speak back for a moment until he blurted out again which was a bit loud to my ears since My ears are a bit sensitive. "I'm just preventing You from preventing us from getting all the respect and fear we've wanted all these damn years! Why stop something that is actually good?! Not even You, understand it!!" He yelled at me with anger. I lowered my eyes half-down and sighed. I couldn't believe he didn't understand what I was trying to prevent. I was done talking with him. Anymore and we'd have to no time to stop Dad. I sighed at made a gesture at Golden Shot. She nodded at Me. "You still don't get it, then there's no reason to talk with you anymore. Golden Shot. Immobilize him. Now." I ordered. She nodded and quickly flew up and shot a round that had a stuffed net in it. Blood Roar was pretty hurt, so he didn't have anytime to react and dodge. He got tangled up in the net and was sure that'd he be unable to follow us. I heard him scream and grunt, trying to get himself out from the net. I made a gesture to make us move on and we did. Now, I can't say what I ordered on Blood Roar was right and I'm not gonna say it was right, no. Bucking. Way. Blood Roar may have been dysfunctional but He was still my friend. Even if I don't show it to him in this tale of Me I'm telling you about. I slightly regretted not having him as my friend since he was okay and all. But it didn't matter to me at that time, all I wanted was to stop Dad's stupid idea. After several minutes, We finally got to the throne room. Before we went in, I told both of them that we just had to stop the portal from opening. We didn't to particularly kill Dad. That'd haunt me for the rest of my life if we did. I just told them to destroy the ritual staff so that it'd be impossible to ever open that Celestia-forsaken portal full of demons and abominations that come out of some kind of damn horrid nightmare. Once we were ready, We opened the big-double, steel door. The first thing we saw was the staff was in the center of the throne room including the slightly big, dark-purple circle that was getting slowly larger by seconds. We looked at the figure near the staff who was controlling the dark aura that was swirling around the staff. Trying to open and enlarge the portal. I charged in first only to get four cuts on my face when he brought out five black blades out of his body, nearly penetrating me. I quickly jumped back, trying to wipe off the dripping blood off my face but I soon stopped as I saw that it was still dripping down. It wasn't dripping down profusely so I didn't panic of blood loss. Me and Silent Whisper both glared at our Dad with disappointment. Dad kept his simple but dark expression. Of course, Golden Shot had the expression of confusion. Kind of like Pinkie Pie's expression of confusion when she has no idea what is going on.. That's how I can only describe how it looked like. My brother went near my ear to whisper to Me. Which was good since I was clueless on what to do. "What should we do? Just go head on?" He asked. I did kind of wonder a bit and I made it up. I scooted away a bit from my brother and whispered to him too. I wanted to make sure it was just perfect so that Equestria would stay like it'd be. I'd rather live in a world where killing is what I do best instead of being killed by something I'm usually called, a monster. "You're in charge of destroying that staff, bro. I'll cover you and so will the Mare. World depends on us right now." I whispered to him. He nodded to me and charged at Dad with full force and made his unique scythe reappear. Dad probably thought that he was going to attack him. But Silent Whisper, with his scythe held with his mouth flew over Dad. Me and Golden Shot ran at my Dad's back, trying to distract him. As we were doing our positioning things, My left eye flicked as I saw him smirk. All the sudden, a bunch of black blades come out from his freaking back and actually arched. The real Dad could never do that. Anyways, Me and Golden Shot managed to dodge it by getting out of the way by Me stepping left and her stepping right. As I successfully dodged out of the way, I looked at my brother who was about to throw his scythe at the unprotected ritual staff that was making the portal huge. But before he did that, I saw my Dad grow out three blades out of his forelegs. Two on the left foreleg and one on the right foreleg. My brother letted out a painful grunt as he got pushed back by the blades into the throne seat. I gasped in horror as the blades had hitted him in the location of his right lung, his right foreleg and his left shoulder. Once Dad released him, he rolled down the steps of the throne and fell down. He grunted shakingly as he tried to stand up again only to stumble down again. "Damnit! Bro, you okay?!" I yelled out. I saw my brother try and get up again. I saw his chest have a small glow to and I saw his mouth move a bit as if he was saying something. I looked back at Golden Shot. She had her gun pointed at my Dad. I knew deep down, She had her own intentions. But at least she was helping us.. but still, I had already told her not to try and kill my Dad but I guess her desires took the best of her. I overheard her say something. "You damn bloody muppet! You're gonna regret ever killin' my Mum!!" She yelled out. I heard a slight click but before She could shoot, My Dad was already by her, having his magic hold her right foreleg that had her hoof-gun attached. I heard My Dad laugh as he had her right foreleg immobilized. "You shouldn't play with guns, little girl..!" With that, he released his magic grip on her right foreleg and push her away with a physical push spell, knocking the living hay outta her. At that time, I had no idea what he had used on Golden Shot. Anyways, seeing how the staff was completely unprotected, I took my chance. I charged at it and drew my hidden blades. I was going to cut it in two but My Dad stopped Me by pushing me back while he moved with his forearm. He soon threw me back at the wall and I slammed against it sideways. I was about to fall on the ground, but My Dad prevented that with a back foreleg kick to the stomach. I screamed out in pain because he had grown out the size of a Dagger and it went into my flesh. I gasped in pain and My Dad turned his head to the left to look at me with his red eyes. "Because of you, The process has been extremely slow. Now, sit there and watch as I create a new world!" He shouted. He soon letted his back foreleg off me and I fell down. Injured but I still got up with shaking forelegs. I looked behind Me and all I see is a large glowing, aura seal. Not like a black seal but a glowing one beneath My brother. My eyes went wide as I saw that and I heard one word as he moved his mouth. "Sheerclaw!!" He yelled out. All the sudden, there was a huge smoke covering the whole throne. The only thing I could see was a pair of two glowing purple eyes. Then, I saw Silent Whisper, out of the smoke and flying at Dad. He tackled him and then, this huge White-furred wolf with Lava red armor charged at the staff with full force and Raised it's left paw and swunged it at the staff, destroying it into multiple pieces where it'd be impossible to repair it and making the portal vanish. Dad's head turned towards it and I was sure he became angry at that moment. "You.. damn you!!" He roared. He kicked back Silent Whisper with full force. Making him hit the wall and falling down near me. My Dad looked at me with a sinister smile and I knew what he was gonna do. I had no more strength to dodge, only unable to stand there. I looked at Sheerclaw behind us and it yowled, beginning to vanish into particles that were being sucked into Silent Whisper's chest again. "You must be punished for your treason.. Your punishments are death." He said simply. He hovered up and charged at me with his hoof having an extremely long curved blade pointed at me. I coughed out blood and I thought it was the inevitable end for me because I couldn't more at all. All the sudden, I hear my brother say "No!". I closed my eyes, wanting to see me be killed. I heard a squelching noise, as if something was stabbed. I looked at Me, unharmed. I then looked at My brother, in front of me. His chest penetrated by the blade. My eyes went wide and I could only blurt out one word: "N-No!!!" I shouted. It was really long and drawn out. I couldn't believe it, my brother was killed. I had thought of that once his body was thrown aside. I looked at Golden Shot, rising up. My eyes began to water and I became more angry. But I swore I had felt something awaken at that moment. All the sudden, I saw myself by my brother, holding his body and then to Golden Shot, holding my right foreleg around her neck. Again, I teleported without any control. I saw that I was outside and I was in the place. The place where my brother showed me, The small trees still as shadow, and the flowers, grimly dead. I looked back at My brother, barely alive. I heard Golden Shot speak to me. "What'd.. ya do?" She asked. I didn't respond because I was too worried about my brother. I didn't even know what to do because I was in a kind of state of shock. I just didn't want to do anything. I saw my brother move his eyes as he looked up to me. I was still holding him with his right foreleg over my neck. "Silent Wind.. it really hurts.. Please..." He began. "..kill..Me..!!" He begged. That's where I snapped out of my shock and quickly answered back. I didn't know why he wanted that for some reason. "Wh-Why?! You're going to be fine! I am not-" I was interrupted when Silent Whisper interrupted me with him. Talking again. "Just.. do it.. I've done enough. Just.. promise me.. You'll live. I love you, brother. I'm sorry I won't be there for You anymore.. take my right hidden blade.. to remember me." He gasped. I shakingly drew my left hidden blade.. ..And dived it into his chest. He gasped and I just cried. I couldn't believe I was killing my own blood, My own family, My brother. He made several noises and held the back of my head and putted his forehead on mines. "Don't worry.. I'll still love you, just.. promise Me.. you'll live. And don't you ever... worry.. I'll love you, no matter... what you.. do.." With that he breathed his last breath and died. My whole world froze at that moment and I couldn't think anymore. I looked at Golden Shot and she gasped. "Yo-Your eyes!!" She yelled. I quickly looked over at the lake to look at my reflection to see that I had gotten purple-black eyes. I didn't know what they were at that time so I freaked a bit. I just wanted to sit there, holding my brother's lifeless body.. I.. really don't know what I did was right. I.... I'm sorry, I'm wiping my tears a bit.. I just hoped that he could help me with every conflict I've ever been. Morning came. I had digged my brother's grave with my own hooves and I threw away my Silentblade suit to throw away my old life. I putted my brother's items on his grave. His armband, his robes also.. the only thing I took, was his hidden blade he told me to keep. The black one I had replaced with my ordinary blade on my right. Golden Shot had said "Goodbye" already and she hugged me. She told me to keep in touch when it was possible. I was all naked at that time and all I had was the thin steel, engraved bracers that only held the hidden blades. I left and said nothing. I began to think of a few things at that moment. "I'm no longer a Silentblade.. I should just hide out for now.. but if i ever see a Silentblade again.." I had thought of what to do now and I had already made my mind up. I stopped for a moment to complete my sentence since I wanted to remember it forever. "..I should just kill them. Simple as done." I said out loud. With that, my story now ends as at that moment, I lived in Canterlot for a few years before I went to Ponyville and met Twilight Sparkle, My marefriend. I truly hold her close to me in my heart. As of those moments, her brother, Shining Armor found me and was about to execute me but.. lets just say I saved his rump and he let me off. For good. After that, War came against the Silentblades and Celestia's forces. I killed Discord, The Spirit of Disharmony with good help from the Elements of Harmony. Then, I stopped my Dad who was actually possessed by a Dark entity called Deathmoon. I died and came back thanks to Lily Blade, who defected and sacrificed her own life so that mines could live on. After all conflicts, I've lived peacefully with friends, both royal and normal ponies. Celestia is about to make me her official Guardian soon. And most of all, I've got the best marefriend in all of Equestria. I keep telling her that but then she just blushes and tells me to stop with a giggle. Hah, I love it when she blushes. Well, I'd best get going back. I've been sitting and telling you my story in this special place where my brother showed me. Twilight must be worried sick. Time for me to go now. I really appreciate it and also grateful that you took your time to listen to my story. Thank you for that. Because I've just told you a past life of me. The past life of Silent Wind the Silentblade. THE END
