For they were certainly there in that sweltering hot desert; all excluding Pinkie Pie were staring with wide eyes at the strangest apparition they ever done did see. It was parade. Out in the middle of scenic nowhere, and it was filled to the brim with foreign sights no pony had ever laid eyes on. Twilight Sparkle was the first one to get a hold of her voice. “P- P- Pinkie… What is all of… this?” The studious unicorn just couldn’t wrap her puny pony brain around this sudden overwhelming overflow of Pinkie that seemed to be flooding the desert. “It’s a party!” It was a typical Pinkie answer for the studious mare’s question. Suddenly, the cotton candy of Pinkie’s mane jerked violently as she reared up to look at the sky. “Now it’s REALLY a party,” Pinkie screamed with glee whilst looking towards the heavens. The other mares finally stopped their ogling of Pinkie’s madness found on the ground level and followed Pinkie’s gaze; only to find some more in the sky. Applejack had to squint her eyes to see the shape. “Wha- What in Tarnation is t’at?!” “Is it a bird,” Fluttershy inquired. She hoped it wasn’t anything dangerous. “Is it falling?!” Rarity was worried for whatever this strange U.F.O (Unidentified falling object). If it were priceless merchandise, what if it broke?! If it were a living creature, what if it broke?! “Is it! Is it…” She tilts her head to the side in utter confusion. “…laughing?” Indeed it was. Laughing as it continued its fall to its imminent death, as if it didn’t have a care in the world. Applejack seemed to shake herself of it first, and shouted to Rainbow Dash, “Dashie! Save him before...” She needn’t say more, for Rainbow took off into the air to save the creature from his plummeting fall. It was a good thing, means no mess on the ground or on their hooves. The other mares watched as Rainbow Dash zipped to the rescue and caught the creature while still a good ways up in the air. His laughing never stopped once, the closer he got the more clear it was to their equine ears. He was laughing like a madman, and even as Rainbow finally touched down, he was still laughing. It was a strange bipedal creature, it had a rather old and wise look to it, and his clothes only made him look more-so. And his head seemed so oddly proportioned as well; it seemed rather large for his body. But even so, his face was still screwed up in manic laughter. Pinkie seemed delighted to see him, even though none of her friends knew even the slightest bit about him. “Chīfu kon'nichiwa (チーフこんにちは)!” It was a language that the other Element Bearers knew nothing about, and they all turned to look at Pinkie in utter confusion. That seemed to snap the creature out of his laughing. In fact, his expression darkened exponentially as he swirled about to face Pinkie. All but Pinkie seemed to instinctively draw back from his gaze, she however just gave him a wide smile. His façade of whatever that was broken in seconds and his face screwed up, only to burst into loud manic laughter again. “Koyubi kon'nichiwa (小指こんにちは)!” He spat through his laughter. Pinkie just bounced around after this. And at this point, her friends were just sort of giving up on any attempt to follow their conversation. The strange creature took a pause in his laughter to glance at his savior, and then gave Pinkie an inquisitive look. “Konkai sukittoru (今回スキットル (INCLUDE QUESTION MARK))?” Pinkie replied with a simple nod. And then the creature just burst out laughing again. Before anypony or any-strange-creature could get another word in, the strange creature took it upon himself to just charge into the mess of parade that the ponies have thus far avoided getting too close to. And even then he just wouldn’t stop laughing, and he just waded in and out of view; expertly making his way through the parade towards his goal. Twilight’s eyes just about bulged out of her skull from what she saw next, or at least, she thinks she saw. It had happened so fast, she wasn’t sure… But he seemed to have gotten squashed by something and smeared quite comically to the ground, and just as quickly as she had saw him flattened like a pancake he just bounced back up like a spring. He immediately disappeared from view afterwards, but his laughter was still heard quite audibly. Every mare except Pinkie was speechless. Pinkie however had opted to pull out a cheerleader outfit from nowhere and started doing a little cheer and dance. The other Element Bearers just waited for anything new to happen. Occasionally they spotted the strange creature poking out from between the mess of parade; somehow he had managed to keep making miraculous amounts of ground coverage between each of his appearances. And oddly enough, no matter how far he got, they could still hear him laughing. Eventually he made it to his goal. He had somehow gotten changed into different clothes; there seemed to be no explanation. He climbed his way up an over-sized stand for over-sized dolls and plopped his butt down when he reached the top. He began to wave, still laughing like a maniac and somehow could be heard over all the other noises from the parade. The girls eventually saw that the creature was going to make no further contribution and decided to just check out all the other sights in the parade. There were just so many things they did not recognize at all, none of it was from a culture they had already come across. Pinkie just danced about; seeming to know all about what was happening. It lasted two whole hours. And the creature had been laughing the whole time. Just as the girls started to get bored, the creature stopped laughing and gave his attention to the mares. They all gave him a glance too; noticing that his laughter had stopped. They saw that his waving had continued however and he seemed like he was about to say something. “Soredewa, mata ne! Ikutsu ka no niji no kappukēki o okutte kudasai (それでは、またね！いくつかの虹のカップケーキを送ってください)!” And with that, the creature vanished into a field of beautiful particles. Forever to be remembered as a strange occurrence within the vast history of Equestria.
