> Big Nate: New Life and New Fears

> Chapter 1: Where It All Started

We start things off with Nate Wright and his friends in anthro pony forms with some others trying to stop an evil shadow that is trying to take Equestria by force. There was also two of Nate's enemies that joined him. But then suddenly the entire screen froze and we see Nate coming to the readers.

"Hey guys. I'm Nate Wright. The best sixth grader around. But others refer me as the king of detention. Now I bet you are wondering how we ended up here and are fighting an evil shadow? Well I can tell you but it's a real long story." Nate said.

So we rewind back to his middle school in his hometown. Now Nate does not like the school, as it is beaten up and old. The school is over 100 years old, and is three floors high. The mascot of P.S. 38 is the Bobcat, so the name of their sports teams are usually the P.S. 38 Bobcats. Their arch-rival is a school named Jefferson Middle School. But anyways during their science class the students were a little bored because of Gina. She is one of Nate's rivals.

"And so with my latest invention the World Traveler I can travel to other places and possibly make them better by having other places to learn!" Gina finished.

Barely any students were clapping and all they did was groan. And Nate hated Gina the most. Reason why is because she was an all around kiss up and always rubs it in his face. And when things couldn't be worse for him Gina did just that after she sat down. Then his science teacher Mr Galvin came.

"Ok class. Now that we had a demonstration from Gina let's discuss what other inventions famous people named." Mr Galvin replied.

Everyone could only groan after Galvin said that. Now Nate Wright wanted to try and make it awesome for everyone but usually ends up in detention when his creature teacher Godfrey catches him in the act. But Nate always had more ideas and quietly schemed one in his head. When the bell rang everyone headed out for the day and Nate met up with all his friends. They were Teddy, Francis, Chad and Dee Dee.

"Hey guys. What a boring day that was right?" Nate asked.

"Yes. To you that is. I thought it was actually nice." Francis replied.

Everyone gave him the angry looks and Francis felt a little sheepish.

"Anyways. Gina always a suck up that all the teachers like her but why can't I prove that I wanna show my awesomeness to the world?" Nate wondered.

"Maybe it's because that Godfrey always catches you or when Gina tattletells on you." Teddy answered.

Nate frowned. "Yeah I noticed Teddy."

"Nate. Maybe you just can't make P.S 38 awesome. You tried many times and not to mention you tried getting Jenny to fall in love with you. But every time you did you end up in detention. So many you should try making a different place awesome?" Chad suggested.

"I guess so. But the trouble is I don't know where." Nate admitted.

"Sounds like you need a little help Nate." A voice said.

The gang looked around and from out of nowhere a man in old school clothes, brown hair and gloves came in front of the group and Nate was in shock. This was Brad Gunter: Nate's personal hero.

"Whoa. Your Brad Gunter. The hero Nate told us." Chad said.

"Yep! And Nate Wright. We meet once again." Brad smiled.

Brad Gunter. Hero. Icon. Personal legend.

"Brad Gunter?! Oh your time couldn't be more perfect!" Nate smiled.

"Ha! I always know what and when to help you out and I heard that you tried making this place awesome but failed everytime." Brad responded.

"Yes. All because that Godfrey and Gina catch me in the act." Nate frowned.

"Psh. Godfrey. You forget Nate that I always outsmart that old bat since back in the day when she had a mouth full of real teeth. Anywho. You wanna prove your awesomeness Nate? Then you and your friends must travel to a new world and look from within." Brad replied.

"But where though? We don't know where to go exactly." Teddy wondered.

"Don't worry youngster. I know exactly where you should go. Follow me to the science lab and we'll check out that bratty Gina's contraption." Brad answered.

So the kids followed Brad into the science lab and before they headed in they had to wait til Gina left the lab. Reason why is because she always stays after school for a little extra credit. She did leave and the gang snuck in without her noticing. 

"Ok guys. From that World Traveler lies a whole new world waiting for all of you. And Nate? Legend has it that if you manage to vanquish a great evil that lurks around then you will be rewarded greatly." Brad explained.

"A great evil? I hope it isn't worth going. I hate to lose my voice. I have more roles to act out for future plays." Dee Dee worried.

"Dee Dee. I don't think that's what he means. He probably means that whatever the threat is once we defeat it we will be rewarded greatly and I can finally prove my awesomeness!" Nate corrected.

"Correct a mondo Nate! But there's something you gotta know. Once you enter the new world there's no coming back. So make sure you and your friends have EVERYTHING you need before you enter this." Brad said.

Nate nodded and he and his friends when to their house and collected everything they needed. After a few hours they returned back to the science lab and Brad Gunter smiled knowing that the kids were ready to move foward. But none of them realize that another girl in a purple shirt and blonde hair was watching. This was Jenny who was Nate's old crush but didn't have success on winning her heart. She peeked through the door and saw the gang.

"So. You young comrades ready to enter the new world? And why does Dee Dee have so many suitcases?" Brad asked.

"Sorry Brad. Dee Dee always has a thing for acting so she must have packed EVERY single activing prop she has and didn't leave anything behind." Nate explained.

"Well I did say pack EVERYTHING you need. But other than that are you ready?" Brad asked.

"Yes we are Brad." Nate answered.

Brad smiled and typed in some information on Gina's machine. Then after a couple of minutes he pressed the red button and a portal opened up.

"Alright young comrades. Follow me through the portal. Your greatest adventure awaits each and every one of you." Brad said as he jumped in the portal.

And so the others headed in the portal and Jenny opened up the door and saw the portal. She couldn't believe that it actually would take people to another world. Then suddenly the portal became unstable and the wind coming in like crazy and Jenny tried to hang on but ended up being sucked in! After that the machine shut down and left a mess in the science lab.



Then as the portal was carrying Nate and his friends they kept traveling til they reached the end of the portal and his theme song began playing. Where did they end up? And how will Nate Wright prove his awesomeness? Only time will tell.
> Chapter 2: New World and New Friends

We cut now to see the gang in some kind of forest and after they arrived they taken different forms. When they woke up they saw themselves as anthro ponies. Nate and Francis are unicorns, Chad and Teddy are pegasi, and Dee Dee is an earth pony. Nate was a yellow unicorn with blue hair and tail in the same style he always has and Francis is a chartreuse unicorn. Teddy was a red pegasus and Chad is a blue pegasus. And Dee Dee was a green earth pony. Everyone was shocked but Nate was a little scared.

"AHH!!! What happened to us?! We're horses!" Nate shouted.

Francis spoke up, "Technically Nate, we appear to be anthro ponies."

"Anthro ponies?" Nate asked, before going sarcastic, "And that's better how?"

"It isn't I just wanted to point out your mistake." Francis answered.

"Terrific." Nate rolled his eyes.

"Now just relax amigo." Brad said coming to the group as a tan pegasus with the same brown hair and tail in his original style. "In different worlds you will take different forms to blend in. Remember the time you went in your own comic world and you took a form there? It's basically the same thing."

"Oh right. The time Cupid Dan disappeared and I needed to find him. Ok that makes sense. But why did it happen to be us as anthro ponies?" Nate wondered.

"Because Nate. This world will be a new beginning for you and your friends. But first we gotta get you situated with the locals here. Follow me." Brad explained.

The gang followed Brad as they all left the forest. Meanwhile the bushes started rumbling and out came a shadow breathing heavy.

"Where....am i?" A female voice asked.





Back with the gang they made there way out of the forest and entered a town that's inhabited with many anthro ponies walking or flying enjoying their daily activities. They stopped in the middle of the town Nate looked at his new surroundings.

"Welcome comrades. To Ponyville!!" Brad introduced.

"Wow. This actually has a nice name. Plus this place looks kinda peaceful." Nate admitted.

"Yeah. Ive never seen this many ponies here. But wait what is the task we gotta do here Brad?" Teddy asked.

Brad can only chuckle. "Only time will tell Teddy. But you will remember that once you vanquish whatever threat is lurking around you will be there to stop it. But for now explore the place. Make some friends. And I will check on you from time and time again. Good luck guys."

Like that Brad Gunter flew in the air and vanished completely. Nate and his friends looked around the place some more and were curious about what they'll experience during their time here.

"So guys? Where should we look?" Nate asked.

"Well since were new here I think we should head to the park and try and get used to the place." Dee Dee suggested.

"Good idea. Cause we have no idea about this Ponyville. Let's look around and see if we can find out more about this place." Francis agreed.

So the gang all walked together and tried to find out more about Ponyville.





They kept walking for a little while til they all went to a castle that looked sort of like a purple tree. When they laid eyes on it their eyes sparked with excitement.

"WOW!! Look at that! That is an amazing castle! But why does it look like a tree?" Nate asked.

"I got no clue Nate. But someone must be living here! We should look and see who lives here!" Chad replied.

So Chad went to the door and knocked on it. Then they patiently waited for someone to come and answer it. After five minutes the door opened and revealed an anthro unicorn with a lilac coat, a purple and teal mane and tail, and a cutie mark of a purple and white star with two blue glimmering streams—sometimes concealed by a fake equal sign. She was a bit surprised seeing new ponies here.

"Oh hello. I never seen you around here. You must be new to Ponyville. I'm Starlight Glimmer. What's your names?" She asked.

"I'm Nate Wright."

"I'm Teddy Ortiz."

"I'm Francis Pope."

"I'm Chad Applewhite."

"And I'm Dee Dee Holloway."

"Nice to meet you all. I've never seen you around lately. Are you guys new here? Because if that's the case then me and my friends will be happy to show you around Equestria." Starlight said.

"We do wanna know about this place so yeah we are new and we need help." Francis responded.

"Okay. Come on in and meet my friends." Starlight offered.

So the gang all went inside the castle and Starlight led them all to a big room with six chairs. There were six other ponies and a purple dragon sitting in the room and talking. They all had the Equestria girls attire on and so does Starlight.

"Girls? I met some new friends and they need help getting used to Equestria. The names are Nate Wright, Teddy Ortiz, Francis Pope, Chad Applewhite, and Dee Dee Holloway." Starlight introduced.

"Starlight? Are you sure they aren't Changelings disguised as humans from the other side of the portal?" asked Twilight.

"Twilight they don't look anything like Changelings and they look completely harmless. So believe me when I say they are friendly." Starlight reasoned.

"Um what the heck are Changelings?" Nate asked.

"Changelings are insect like ponies that can disguise themselves as other ponies to blend in. Long time ago they attacked during my brother's wedding but we stopped them for good." Twilight explained.

"Um ok?" Nate said all confused.

"Oh I'm sorry. Your new and I haven't introduced myself or my friends. I'm Twilight Sparkle." She introduced.

"I'm Rainbow Dash! The fastest pegasus around!" 

"Howdy y'all. I'm Applejack."

"I'm Pinkie Pie! And I love making new friends!!" 

"I am Rarity darlings." 

"And I'm Spike the noble dragon." 

"Nice to meet all of you. And what's your name?" Nate asked Fluttershy.

"Im...Fluttershy." She said quietly.

"Sorry we didn't catch that. Come again?" Teddy asked.

"It's Fluttershy." She squeaked.

"We still can't hear you. Can you speak up?" Dee Dee asked.

"Sorry about that. Her name's Fluttershy. She's a little shy around new ponies." Twilight told them.

"Ohh. That makes sense since she is a little shy." Dee Dee realized.

"So can you ponies tell us where we are and what this place is all about?" Chad wondered.

"Your in Equestria. More specifically Ponyville. It is our hometown located near Canterlot Mountain in Central Equestria. It was first settled by Ma and Pa Apple many moons ago and with the support of Stinkin' Rich, it grew into a large and famous town in its own right. Ponyville is located in the earth of Equestria, almost the exact center in fact. Despite having a well-storied history, the town isn't terribly old, only a hundred or so years old by the time I moved here. Ponyville is notably less technologically advanced as some cities like Fillydelphia and Baltimare, but moreso than some towns like Appaloosa." Twilight explained.

"Wow. That's quite a story. Though I feel like those names are similar to the ones we know back home." Francis replied.

"And does all the ponies here have weird and somewhat cute names here too? Cause I'm gonna be honest I have no clue on what's going on." Nate asked.

"Well yes we do have some weird names but you'll get used to it. In fact we were wondering if you guys wanna have a tour around Equestria? So that way you can see what we have to offer." Twilight offered.

"We would like that. And maybe we get to know you girls." Teddy flirted.

After he said that Teddy, Francis and Chad began feeling something in their chests. It almost feel like something they haven't felt for a long time: Love. Nate, Dee Dee and Spike saw that and they smirked knowing that sooner or later they would start developing crushes on them. Then Dee Dee went to them.

"Sorry to break up this little lovefest but I believe that a tour around Equestria is what you were planning to do Twilight?" Dee Dee reminded her.

"Oh right! Sorry about that! Come along everyone!" Twilight said.

"We'll be right there Twilight! I wanna talk to Nate real quick." Spike replied.

"Sure Spike. Get to know one another. We'll be waiting outside." Twilight smiled.

So the Main Six and Starlight along with Nate's friends went outside til Nate and Spike were alone.

"So Nate? I have a question for you. What was life like back on your world?" Spike wondered.

Nate sighed in disappointment but proceed to tell Spike. "Well it wasn't really awesome as I thought it would be. Back home I tried to make middle school awesome but all my schemes end in failure and me in detention. Heck I even tried getting a girl named Jenny my full attention hoping that one day i would make her mine. But sadly that day has never come. So I would say that my life was pretty rough."

"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. And you know what Nate? You ain't the only one who has a crush on a girl. I too have a crush on Rarity but my ideas on winning her heart failed." Spike said sadly.

Nate felt bad for Spike. He wanted to win her heart but it always backfired. Then suddenly Nate had an idea to help him.

"Hey Spike? Since we both have crushes on girls we like how's about we could help each other win the hearts of our respective girls? You help me win Jenny's and in return I help you win Rarity's?" Nate offered.

"You really think you can do that?" Spike hoped.

"I know I can. In fact I know a few things that can help you finally accomplish that goal." Nate smirked.

"Well if you really think you can then you have a deal!" Spike said as the two shook hands sealing the deal.

"Come on Spike we don't wanna keep the others waiting." Nate said.

The two walked out of the castle and met up with the others. Then they all got started on the tour around Equestria and soon Nate and friends will know what they'll be expecting here. Meanwhile after they left an anthro purple unicorn with blonde hair came out and looked around the place. Turns out that Jenny is here too.

"What is this place? And why am I a humanoid pony? I gotta find someone who knows about this and hopefully knows where I am." Jenny replied.

So Jenny began heading towards Ponyville and started to see where she was and hopefully can get some answers soon. But how will Nate react when he sees his life long crush here? And what will happen later on when his dad, sister, uncle and arch enemies know when he's not home?
> Chapter 3: The Tour, Meeting Discord and Seeing Jenny

With Nate and the gang they all walked around Equestria to see what it has to offer. Now Nate wasn't used to girly places but he had to admit that this one was quite nice. Heck even his friends had a few likes about it and were talking with Main Six.

"So Fluttershy? Is it true that you love all sorts of animals?" Francis asked.

"Oh yes Francis. I have all kinds of animals. Big and small. I like to think of them as my friends. What about you? Do you have an animal friend?" Fluttershy answered.

"Well back home I did have a cat. And you might not wanna tell Nate but he has a phobia of cats." Francis replied.

"He's scared? Oh he shouldn't be? Cats are friendly. I don't understand why he's scared." Fluttershy said.

"Long story Fluttershy." Francis simply said.

She nodded and they continued on walking around. Then Teddy decided to try and socialize with Rainbow Dash.

"Hey Rainbow? What's your secret on being cool and awesome at lots of competitions? You are like so good at them." Teddy wondered.

"Oh that's easy Teddy. Whenever I'm in a competition I always try really hard to be the best I can be! But sometimes my ego always gets the better of me and I regret it. That's because I remember that loyalty is better than some contest. But it does feel good to win." Rainbow explained.

"Ok good to know. We like playing sports back home too. But sometimes our rival school Jefferson Middle has always ruined our chances at winning. Actually scratch that. They ALWAYS ruin our chances at winning." Teddy said.

"Sounds like they are a bunch of cheaters." Rainbow replied.

"Oh they are Rainbow. Believe me. But the worst ones are none other than Gina and Godfrey. I absolutely can't stand those two." Nate replied.

"Um who's Gina and Godfrey?" Twilight asked.

"Well Gina is my nemesis and all around kiss up. She is the star pupil of Godfrey who happens to be my social studies teacher but I call her the creature teacher cause she always acts like a vicious creature." Nate explained.

"Oh. But isn't that a little harsh Nate?" Twilight wondered.

"It's kinda true Twilight. Plus she hates everyone except Gina." Nate reasoned.

"Well this Godfrey could seriously use some friendship lessons." Twilight said.

"Good luck with that. She doesn't listen to anyone's lectures but her own." Nate replied.

Twilight didn't know Godfrey well but Nate knew her better that she is a mean person and she probably won't listen to Twilight's friendship lectures. Then Chad decided to try and get to know Applejack.

"Um Applejack? Do you only sell apple based treats here?" Chad wondered.

"You darn right Chad. My family is famous for making some of the best apple sweets around. And if you like you and your friends can try some to see what you think." Applejack answered.

"We'll definitely try some for sure. Hope it beats the food at P.S 38." Chad hoped.

"P.S 38? What's that?" Rarity asked.

"It's our middle school. But frankly it's old and run down. Plus Nate tried to make it awesome but failed and ended up in detention. A lot." Teddy explained.

"Thanks Teddy. They get the point." Nate frowned.

The girls felt a little bad for Nate but they proceeded to continue showing him and his friends around Equestria. First they all headed to Sugarcube Corner and after a few minutes they arrived at a place that was covered in sweets and looks like a gingerbread house. They went inside and saw all sorts of goodies to try. Nate couldn't stop staring at all the treats to eat. Next they all headed to Sweet Apple Acres where it was a big farm and a huge apple orchard. Lots of apple trees growing and Nate and his crew couldn't believe how much apples there were.

"Wow. That is a lot of apple trees. It's no wonder why you call it Sweet Apple Acres. I almost thought you lived in a huge apple." Chad commented.

"We may farm the apples but we don't live in a huge apple. Anyways it's just me and my sis here. Big Mac took his girlfriend on a date while Granny is taking a nap." Applejack replied.

"Oh. Well what about your mom and dad? Don't they live here and help you?" Nate asked.

Applejack lowered her head in sadness. "Not any more. They died a few years ago when i was a filly and I really miss them."

"Oh I'm sorry. I didn't know that you had a bad history with losing them." Nate apologized.

"It's ok. It's not your fault." Applejack assured.

"Maybe we shouldn't bring up unpleasant memories that make any of the Main Six feel bad Nate." Francis suggested.

"Noted Francis. No bad memories." Nate replied.

"Sounds like you brought some new friends here!"

Everyone looked over to see a strange creature that looked like a haphazard conglomeration of animal body parts that had been hastily stitched together floating in the air, regarding them with an amused smirk. "So, when were you going to tell me about your newest guest, dear Fluttershy?" the creature asked.

"Um what the heck are you? Why do you look like Frankenstein with animal parts stitched together?" Nate asked.

"Oh forgive my manners! We haven't met. I'm Discord the mischievous spirit chaos and disharmony. Before Celestia and I
Luna stood up to me back in the day, i ruled Equestria in an eternal state of unrest and unhappiness. Luna and Celestia saw how miserable life was for Earth ponies, Pegasi, and unicorns alike, so after discovering the Elements of Harmony, they combined their powers and rose up against me, turning me to stone. But that's all in the past now and I turned a new leaf." The creature explained.

"So he was evil back then?" Dee Dee asked.

"I WAS back then. But then sweet little Fluttershy here helped me out and now I'm A reformed chaos spirit." Discord corrected.

"Oh. Well I hope your keeping your word. Cause I'm not sure that a chaos spirit can actually turn a new leaf." Francis replied.

"Silly Francis. Of course you can trust me." Discord smiled.

"Wait. How do you know his name?" Teddy said surprised.

"I know many things. Your Teddy Ortiz, Nate Wright, Francis Pope, Chad Applewhite and Dee Dee Holloway." Discord answered.

"Guys. Discord may be a little silly at times but he means well." Fluttershy assured.

The gang was a little unsure but decided to roll with it. Then they continued exploring Equestria. They finished the tour and ended up back in Ponyville. Then something caught Nate's eye. He saw a purple unicorn with blonde hair and tail and started to think if he's seen this before.

"Wait. There's something familiar about that hair. I just can't seem to remember what." Nate said.

Then to his surprise the unicorn turned around and revealed Jenny's face. Then Nate's heart started to pound a little and was so shocked seeing her here. The group saw Nate's reaction and they smirked knowing that he is starting to feel love. Then Spike went to him.

"Nate. Who is that?" Spike asked.

"Well remember when I told you about Jenny? That's her." Nate answered.

"Ohh. So that's Jenny you mentioned." Spike realized.

"Well since she's new here why don't we give her a proper Ponyville welcome?" Pinkie suggested.

The gang agreed and went over to her. Jenny saw the group and was shocked a little seeing Nate. But for some reason he wasn't being a stalker anymore.

"Nate? Is that you?" Jenny asked.

"Yes. I know it's a bit different but yes it's me." Nate answered.

"Well why are you like a unicorn? And why am I a unicorn?" Jenny wondered.

"Jenny. This is a different world. And we all taken different forms to blend in. Besides I think that's a good look for you. I like it." Nate commented.

"Oh well thank you. Um is there any way to get home?" Jenny asked.

"Im afraid not Jenny. Once we entered the portal there was no turning back. Besides our new friends the Main Six are showing us around their hometown." Teddy answered.

"Oh. Well since there's no way home. I suppose I'll need to get used to being a unicorn. And Nate? I really hope you aren't planning any funny business." Jenny hoped.

"I promise I'm not Jenny. That was the old me at P.S 38. I'm trying to start fresh here and maybe we can try being friends?" Nate asked.

Jenny knew Nate had a huge crush on her. And even though he was annoying she was wondering if he really was telling the truth about starting fresh. So she sighed and shook his hand.

"Ok. We can be friends Nate. But don't lemme me catch you doing anything that can embarrass me. Got it?" Jenny asked.

"I swear. No embarrassing things in front of you. But I was wondering how were gonna get used to this bodies?" Nate wondered.

"Yeah. How will we get used to being unicorns, pegasi and earth ponies?" Teddy asked.

Rainbow flew over, "No problem Teddy. Just stick with Rainbow Dash, and you'll be flying all over."

"Or at least off the ground." Fluttershy put in.

"And since Nate, Jenny and Francis are unicorns, Rarity and I will help them." Twilight said, as she and Rarity stood by the three.

"That leaves ya with me, sugarcube." Applejack said, while putting a hoof around Dee Dee.

"Well come on everypony, we got work to do." Twilight declared.

"Yeah!" they cheered.

So everyone split up and they began training the gang on how to get used to their Equestrian forms.
> Chapter 4: Enemies Coming and A Shadow Returns

Back at P.S 38 things were a little quiet around here. In fact the only reason why it was quiet is because Nate and his friends were not around. And one boy named Randy Betancourt was wondering where he is. Now Randy Betancourt, is an enemy of Nate Wright and P.S. 38's "residential scuzzball" as Nate states. According to Nate, the kids in Randy's posse are in it just because they are scared of Randy. But today Randy wasn't feeling like doing his things today.

"Man that's odd. Usually Nate comes here and I would mess with him like how I usually do. Something seems to be wrong. I'm not sure what it is but I hope he'll turn up soon." Randy smirked.

Then the rest of the class came in and even that same girl Nate hated a lot: Gina. Now Gina was also Nate's archenemy. For separate reasons, both were extremely annoyed with the other. Nate was annoyed by Gina's geekiness, obnoxious personality, perfectionism, and arrogance. Gina, in turn, was annoyed by Nate's arrogance, as well as his tendency to avoid schoolwork, being messy, and hatred for Mrs. Godfrey. And people in P.S 38 sometimes think they should be in a relationship. However, Lincoin Pierce confirmed they will never be dating. When Gina sat down she looked around and didn't see Nate anywhere.

"Hmm. I wonder where that loser Nate is? I bet he's trying to avoid another test." Gina replied.

Then the social studies teacher Mrs Godfrey came in and prepared to teach the kids some lessons. And by the way they are not happy to do. Except Gina of course.

"Ok class. Today we have an assignment to do of the British War. Now I except everyone to do well and no cheating what so eve.....um? Where's Nate, Teddy, Francis, Chad and Dee Dee?" Mrs Godfrey asked as she saw the empty desks.

"Nate probably came up with a scheme to get him and his friends out of this assignment Mrs Godfrey." Gina tattletelled.

"Ugh. Typical. Alright class stay put. I will be right back once I find Nate and his pals. Gina? You wanna help?" Mrs Godfrey asked.

"Sure. And maybe we can even have some extra help. Randy? You know Nate too. Wanna help us?" Gina offered.

"Hmm alright. But only because I want to not take this assignment." Randy answered.

Gina groaned but Godfrey gave her a look not to do that. So the trio begin searching everywhere around P.S 38 for Nate and his friends. First they looked in the gymnasium where they thought that Nate was under the bleachers. Turns out he wasn't. Then they looked in the hallways thinking that he might have found a dark spot to camouflage himself but he's not there. Next was the cafeteria but still no Nate. Then finally they checked all the different classrooms in the school but Nate was not in either one. After three hours they took a break and leaned against the lockers.

"Whew! I don't understand it. Where is Nate? He wasn't in any of the classrooms or anyplace else in the school! Did we make an invisible cloak for him and his friends?" Gina asked.

"I don't think he did butt-brain. If he did then I would have bumped into him when I couldn't see him but hear his voice. But that ain't happening." Randy snarked.

Gina frowned and the trio got off the lockers and tried to think of where else in the school they haven't looked yet. Then Godfrey had an idea.

"Wait. We haven't checked in the science lab. I betcha that's where Nate is hiding!!" Godfrey smirked.

"Then let's go catch him!" Gina said.

So the trio ran off to the science lab and when they found it Randy pushed the door open and looked around but like the other rooms they checked Nate was not there.

"Great! He's not there! But there is a huge mess all around the place. And some weird contraption being left here." Randy said.

"Hey! That's my World Traveler! And it is not weird!" Gina said as she had a theory of what might happened. "Wait a minute. Maybe he used my machine to travel to another world and is probably hiding there!"

"Are you sure? Cause I certainly didn't hear anything today." Godfrey asked.

"Maybe not today. But I think Nate and his friends used it yesterday after I left and are probably hiding in another world somewhere." Gina answered.

"Well if you think so then let's see if we can try to track him down." Randy said.

So Randy typed in some information on Gina's machine. Then after a couple of minutes he pressed the red button and a portal opened up. The trio began walking towards it and suddenly the portal became unstable and the wind coming in like crazy and they screamed while trying to hang on but ended up being sucked in! After that the machine shut down and left an even bigger mess in the science lab.





The portal reopened and the trio arrived in some sort of cave and after they arrived they taken different forms. When they woke up they too saw themselves as anthro ponies and creatures. Randy was a pegasus, Gina became a pink unicorn and Godfrey was actually a half pony and half dragon.

"Whoa! What happened to us?!" Gina freaked.

"I don't know but I dig this new look. And are those wings on my back? Oh I know exactly what I'm doing after this!" Randy smirked.

"Focus Randy! We need to find Nate!" Gina reminded him.

Then suddenly Randy saw something next to him. It was some sort of glowing stick and he picked it up and examined it.

"Hmm. A glowing stick? Wonder what this does?" Randy wondered.

Then he used the stick to create a strange symbol on the ground. Gina and Godfrey tried to warn him not to but it was too late. Then a petrified dark crystal came out and a swarm of dark shadows came together and formed a tornado. Suddenly a pair of glowing green eyes and red horn appeared and stared at the trio. Then the shadows got smaller and took a human pony form. He looked terrifying as that but still is a dark king. He looked around seeing who revived him. Then he spotted the trio and slowly went to them and came face to face. This was the evil King Sombra.

"Well, well. What do we have here? Three foolish creatures who dares to fight me?" King Sombra asked.

"Um no mister dark pony sir." Gina replied nervously.

"The name's Sombra. King Sombra to be exact. Are you the ones that released me?" He corrected.

"Um I might be the one that released you. If I knew know to reverse it I could send you back and let you rest again." Randy answered.

"Don't. I'm glad you released me. Ohh it was a prison in there! And now that I'm free I can finally get my revenge and rule all of Equestria by force!" King Sombra said.

"Equestria? What's Equestria?" Godfrey asked.

"It's where you are now my dear. For centuries I tried to take the throne of the Crystal Empire but got bested by a group of ponies known as the Main Six." Sombra said as he used his staff to show them a vision of his past. "Then I tried taking Canterlot's throne and almost succeeded. But got bested again."

"But your a king. Don't you already have a throne?" Gina asked.

"If only that was true. But sadly no. But what are you three doing here? I don't remember seeing you around here often." Sombra replied.

"Look um Sombra. We don't want any trouble but we are trying to find a boy named Nate Wright. He has a few friends with him and all we want is to find him and bring him back so I can have him take the assignment and give him detentions for the next year!" Godfrey replied.

Randy heard what Godfrey said and was starting to have second thoughts about it.

"Detention for the next year? I know Nate has gotten many before but this is something I wouldn't want him getting. Maybe this isn't a good idea." Randy thought.

"Nate Wright? Now why would I help you find a boy named Nate Wright? That is the least of my problems." King Sombra scoffed.

"Wait! King Sombra! Me and Godfrey can offer you something!" Gina begged.

"What could you possibly offer me that I don't already have? A fake throne that I can't even rule a world on?" Sombra mocked.

"Actually I was think about..... You being Equestria's next ruler and maybe we can help you get these Main Six ponies you speak of. And in return you help us track down Nate." Gina offered.

King Sombra started to get interested in what Gina was saying. "Go on."

"If we team up and work together then we can both achieve our goals. And maybe you can have Godfrey as your queen and me as your second in command." Gina proudly stated.

"Don't push it kid. Although..... Every king does need a queen and a second in command. Hmm. Alright. If you think you can help me then you have yourself a deal." Sombra replied.

He shook Gina's hand and the dark deal was sealed. But somehow Randy was getting a little nervous about this. Then Sombra noticed his reaction.

"What's wrong with you?" Sombra asked.

"Ohh...umm...it's just a stomachache." Randy lied but he bought it.

"Okay. Well follow me everyone. We got all of Equestria to take back. Let's get to work." Sombra said.

Soon all the trio and Sombra headed straight in the direction of the Frozen North and began to put their plan in motion. What will happen when word gets out that Sombra is back and has some helpers? I hope Nate and his friends can stop them? And what of Randy?
> Chapter 5: Pony Training with Nate
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back with the gang in Ponyville we see Nate and his friends with the Main Six at an empty field where they will begin their training on mastering their skills as earth ponies, unicorns, and pegasi. 

"Okay guys. Since you're going to be staying here in Equestria we need to get you situated with the talents that we ponies possess. So we'll start with Nate, Francis and Jenny practicing your unicorn magic." Twilight said.

"Ok Twilight. Cause I'm not sure how to control this unicorn magic." Nate admitted.

"Don't worry Nate. That's why were gonna help you train in this situation so you can get used to it." Twilight said has she got a few rocks and placed them on the ground. "Ok. Now tried and use your magic on these rocks."

So the three closed their eyes and Nate, Jenny and Francis were concentrating on a rock each that was on the grass. Twilight instructed them, "Focus, guys. Remember to levitate something you must put yourself into it. You become one with the rock and it becomes one with you."

They started to relax a little and Nate, Jenny and Francis continued to concentrate, until their horns started glowing with a magical aura. Jenny's magical aura was purple like, Nate's was a yellowy-orange like and Francis's was a green aura. Suddenly the rocks they were focusing on became enveloped within their magical auras and were slowly lifting off the grass. Twilight watched feeling impressed, "That's it, guys. All right. Now try and move them closer to you."

The three concentrated, and started levitating the rocks away from the grass and in their direction slowly. The rocks were about half way to them, before their magical auras vanished and fell to the floor with a thud, "Oh man, and they were almost close to us." Nate said in frustration.

"It's okay. You did good. Just keep at it and you'll get better." Twilight encouraged.

"Okay. I'll try again. And I will see not to let the magic control me. I'll become one with the magic." Nate said as he close his eyes.

"Me too. I'll be one with the magic." Jenny added.

"Me three. Be one with the magic." Francis finished.

Then once all three closed their eyes and their horns engulfed in their magic auras and the rocks begin coming in their direction once more. Then they all raised their hands in the air and the rocks followed it. Then finally they did a few moves while using their magic to send the rocks in the directions they want to go. After 30 minutes they gently placed the rocks down and took a deep breath and opened their eyes seeing Twilight so impressed.

"Well done you three. You mastered the talent of using unicorn magic. Now let's move on to earth ponies. Applejack?" Twilight instructed.

"Gotcha Twi. Now Dee Dee. Lemme show you how to use your earth pony strength." Applejack replied as she went to an apple tree. "You just lift your legs up, and give it a good ol' buck!" the tow bucked the trees and falling into several baskets were all the apples in the trees.

"Wow. That is cool." Dee Dee gasped.

"Now you give it a try." Applejack insisted.

Dee Dee went up to a tree and did exactly what she did, but only a few apples fell from the tree and landed in a basket, "Not bad, but next time put a little more force into it." A.J suggested.

"Ok, here it goes nothing." Dee Dee did another try with adding more force in his buck, and suddenly the rest of the apples fell from the tree and into the basket.

"Now that's more like it!" Applejack smiled.

"Whoa! I didn't know that I can do that! Lemme try that again!" Dee Dee said happy.

She went to a few more apple trees and bucked them so hard that all the apples fell down. And each one she kicked she yelled too. Then Applejack laughed a little and got Dee Dee to calm down.

"Ok Dee Dee. You got the training down. Now all that's left his getting Teddy and Chad used to flying in the air. Rainbow?" Applejack asked.

"On it! Alright you two. Ready to fly to the sky?" Rainbow asked them.

"We sure are! But are you sure you know what you're doing in the sky?" Chad asked.

"Of course. Now spread your wings and follow me in the air." Rainbow instructed.

Teddy and Chad spread their wings and waited for Rainbow to give the signal. Once she flew in the air the two took off and followed her. As the hours progressed, the guys continued to practice with the girls. Nate, Jenny and Francis were getting better and better at using their unicorn magic, preferably the levitation spell. Dee Dee was doing all sorts of  work with the Applejack, and was currently pulling a plow through a field at her farm. Rainbow had started teaching Teddy and q some impressive aerial stunts in the sky, just in case they were to run into any obstacles while in mid air. Then they all regrouped and everyone was fully prepared now.

"Oh yes! Nate's got magic and ready to show them that it's awesome!" Nate replied.

"Ok Nate don't get ahead of yourself. Besides everyone here did amazing too." Rainbow reminded him.

"Sorry. I'm just so excited to finally master this unicorn magic and use it for the greater good." Nate said.

"It's ok." Twilight smiled. Then suddenly they saw Spike coming towards the group carrying a message.

"Twilight! It's from Princess Celestia!" Spike replied.

She took the message from Spike hand and opened it to see what it says.

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

I heard that you are training some new ponies here and are helping them get situated with our town. Well you certainly couldn't been more perfect. We received word from a pegasus named Brad Gunter that we should meet them and see if they're ready to help us stop an ancient evil that is lurking in Equestria. Please come to Canterlot at once.

Your mentor Princess Celestia. 

"Ok everyone! Were heading to Canterlot at once! Cause someone named Brad Gunter informed them of Nate and his friends being here and are wanting to see if they are ready." Twilight instructed.

"Brad Gunter?! He must have been watching us train! Come on! Let's go to Canterlot! We got a threat to vanquish!!" Nate declared.

So everyone headed straight to the train station and made their way to Canterlot. However in the Frozen North in an eerie looking dark castle was the trio watching the group through a huge crystal ball. Sombra got interested seeing Nate and his friends.

"So this is Nate Wright huh? And I see he's with those six puny ponies." King Sombra said.

"Yes. The little troublemaker that caused so much trouble over the years. But once we catch him and his friends we'll show them real trouble and they will be all locked away in detention forever!!" Mrs Godfrey yelled.

Randy heard that and was really starting to have second thoughts. He needed to do something but that would mean that he needs to escape. So he schemed something in his head.

"Um Sombra? Can I go take a walk? I need to clear my head real quick." Randy lied.

"Alright. But don't be out for too long." King Sombra answered.

So Randy left the castle and ran fast as he could til he was far away from the place.

"Ok. You know what? I can't do this. I may be a bully to Nate but I should take responsibility for my actions. And I will not let Godfrey and Gina catch him and lock him up in detention forever. I gotta find him!" Randy said determined.

So he spread out his wings and flew straight in the sky in hopes of finding Nate. What is Randy planning on doing? And is he changing his ways?
> Chapter 6: Randy and Love Sights

Randy continued flying threw the skies til he spotted Ponyville. He smiled and went straight down and came in for a landing. Once he landed he began looking all around for Nate. He needed to find him and warn him about Godfrey and Gina working with King Sombra. So far after four hours he had no luck.

"Man! Where is he?" Randy asked himself.

He kept on running and looking all around for Nate. Then suddenly he accidentally bumped into a pink pony and he fell down and the group saw him all hurt. Randy groaned a little and picked himself up.

"Oh I'm sorry. Are you okay?" Pinkie asked.

"Yeah I'm okay. I just completely didn't see......" Randy said.

But then when he stared into Pinkie's blue eyes he felt something pounding in his chest. Randy didn't know what it was but he liked feeling it and he blushed real hard.

"Oh geez! I'm so sorry I bumped into you miss. I was looking for something and completely didn't see you! Please forgive me!" Randy begged.

"It's okay. Accidents happen. And I know you didn't mean to. Besides you do look cute." Pinkie answered.

Randy laughed sheepishly and then Nate saw him. He immediately recognized his voice and hair and went to him.

"Randy? Is that you?" Nate asked.

"Oh Nate! I'm so glad I found you! I thought I never find you in time!" Randy cried as he hugged him.

"Is this some kind of joke Randy? Are you just saying that so you can bully me again and framed me for your stunt?" Nate asked.

"No Nate. I'm not gonna do that to you anymore. I may have done that in the past but I wanna make this right! You have to trust me!" Randy begged.

"Why Randy?" Nate wondered.

"Because Nate! Equestria is in trouble! I came to find you because I need to warn you about this! I know we had our differences Nate but I think we should really stick together to save their home!" Randy explained.

Applejack looked in his eyes and saw no lie.

“It's true.” Applejack said.

"See? She understands! Now please Nate! Lemme help you!" Randy begged.

The Main Six and the band all looked at each other deciding on what to do for Randy. Should they let him tag along? Or should they leave him on his own? Ultimately they came with and offer.

"Ok Randy. If you think you can help us and make things right by helping us stop whenever threat is lurking around then I will forgive your apology." Nate said.

"And since I know that you had a spark in your eyes for me I what you to promise me something." Pinkie added.

"Anything. What do you need me to promise?" Randy asked.

"Promise me that you won't bully Nate or any of his friends and help us stop this threat or we'll have to report you to Princess Celestia." Pinkie finished.

"I promise! I won't bully Nate anymore! I just wanna make things right. You have my word." Randy promised.

"Good. Now hop in the train. Were going to Canterlot." Pinkie said.

Randy nodded and allowed everyone to head inside the train and once everyone was in the train started moving and began their ride to Canterlot. As they were riding Randy took the time to get to know Pinkie.

"So um Pinkie was it? What do you do around Ponyville?" Randy asked.

"Oh that's easy. I plan parties and make everyone smile!" Pinkie said but then a sad look appeared. "But not everyone was happy. Not even my parents."

"What happened?" Randy asked.

"Well my parents and my sisters didn’t really like my parties. I mean, they loved the first one I threw, but after that they seemed to not love them as much.” Pinkie gulped. “Every time I would sing or dance or try to make them smile, they would tell me to knock it off and keep working on the rock farm. I tried to tell them that I could sing and dance while I worked, but they would keep saying ‘Pinkamena Diane Pie, this is the last warning! You stop that noise! Nopony needs to hear that much noise! Do your chores! No singing! No Dancing!’ It was awful!”

Randy nodded. “Go on.”

Pinkie’s hair was totally straight now. “Well I couldn’t smile or laugh while I was working, so for the next few weeks, I would sneak out at night into the furthest silo we had on the farm. In there, I would sing, dance, laugh and play as much as I could. It was fun, but I had nopony to share it with. I really wanted my family to enjoy them as much as I did. I was all alone.”

Crying softly now, Pinkie Pie continued. “Pretty soon, my parents found out about my late-night parties. They came to my door and knocked on it angrily saying ‘Get out here right now, little filly! You’re in big trouble!’ I was scared, but I went out to face them. I told them ‘I like parties and playing and having fun! Why cant you see that? I’m just playing! There’s no bad stuff about it!’ but they just said that parties and playing were never allowed here. So later that night, I packed up my things and I ran away from home. I walked all the way to Ponyville. That’s where I met Mr. and Mrs. Cake. They took me in and taught me about baking yummy treats like cupcakes and cookies and all sorts of stuff! At that point I felt like I belonged there." 

Then Randy did something unexpected. He placed one hand on Pinkie's and looked at her.

"You weren't the only one. See it was true that I was a bully to Nate. And every time he took the blame I thought that I would be happy. But really I felt bad. Like I needed to take responsibility for my actions not him. And honestly, if I wanted to I would love nothing more than to plan parties like you Pinkie." Randy replied.

Then Pinkie smiled and hugged him as tears of joy came down her eyes. Nate said that and started to realize that maybe he was trying to change his ways.

"Hey um Randy?" Nate said.

"Yeah Nate?" Randy asked.

"I had no idea that you actually wanted to plan parties. If you wanted to you could have came to me and I would have gladly helped you." Nate answered.

"You know Nate? I think I would like that. Once we take care of the threat. And Nate? I gotta tell you something. I'm sorry for always blaming everything on you when really I should be taking the blame. And maybe if I did then things would been different. You wouldn't end up in detention a lot, Godfrey wouldn't yell at you, and you actually could have made it awesome." Randy apologized.

Then Nate smiled a little.

"Thanks for apologizing Randy. Means a lot." Nate said.

"Anytime. And hey. Maybe we can actually be a good team." Randy offered.

Nate couldn't argue with that. Since he's willing to change his ways Nate accepted his parthership and will do whatever they can to vanquish the threat. After a few minutes, they all had reached Canterlot and was on their way to the castle. It's time for Nate and the gang to meet Princess Celestia and she will assign them to stop the evil King Sombra. But what will happen when he realizes that Gina and Godfrey are working with him?
> Chapter 7: Search Party and Wish Granted
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back in Nate's hometown there was a boy looking all around. Reason why is he too was trying to find Nate. His name is Artur. Now Artur is a male exchange student from the Republic of Belarus and one of Nate's all-time frenemies until Nate became friends with him. He is a member of Enslave the Mollusk, the Timber Scouts, the chess club and the Doodlers. Artur is said to be very intelligent. Nate was definitely annoyed with the fact that Jenny likes Artur instead of him and Artur's ability to defeat Nate at chess, taking away his title of number one player on the Chess Club. Anyways he kept looking for Nate but so far he can't find him.

"Oh where is he? I hadn't seen him in a long while. I hope he's ok." Artur hoped.

He kept on trying to find Nate and looked everywhere. He searched high and he searched low. He looked everywhere. But he can't get one sight of him. Then after a few hours he reached Nate's house. Maybe he was home. Artur wanted to believe that he was so he went to the house and knocked on the door. When it opened it revealed a man with a small beard and wearing a red shirt. He was Martin Wright and commonly known to his children as "Dad",he is the absent-minded, albeit well-meaning father of Nate and Ellen Wright. He is also known to be a non-skilled golfer, and uses Nate as his caddy, often requesting him to fish out his played golf-balls, occasionally the club as well, and from the course's ponds frequently embarrassing them both in front of other people. He saw Artur and smiled a little.

"Oh hey Artur. How's it going?" Martin asked.

"Not good. I'm looking for friend Nate. No one has seen him for a while. Do you know where Nate is?" Artur answered.

"Sorry Artur. I haven't seen him for two weeks now. He hasn't come home and I'm starting to get worried about him." Martin replied.

"Well I say we let the twerp be missing. Because now he won't be messing up my dates anymore." A female voice said.

Coming down the stairs was a teenage girl wearing a magenta shirt and has blonde hair in a ponytail. This was Nate's sister Ellen. Now Ellen can be known as self-absorbed, and obnoxious, though only Nate seems to think she is obnoxious. She is surprisingly mature and obedient for her age, although she is annoying to Nate. This, however, is not always the case. In the later years through their life, the two seemingly get along fine with each other and are hardly seen arguing with each other. She is also a good student, admired by several teachers at P.S. 38. Apparently she really enjoys karaoke. Still, she dislikes anyone outside her comfort zone. Martin frowned at what she said and gave her an angry look.

"Ellen. I thought I said not to disrespect your brother like that. He's missing and we need to find him. Now quit being self absorbed and let's go. Artur you are more than welcome to join the search." Martin offered.

"I do wanna find him. I'm coming too." Artur said with confidence.

"Got room for one room?" A voice asked.

Everyone turned and saw a car pull up and parked in front of the walkway on the road and out came as the brother of Martin: Theodore Wright or Uncle Ted. Now Ted is overweight and seems unconcerned about hygiene. He also has a very unicorn-like haircut, and he wears very messy clothes. When Martin saw him we was a bit surprised.

"Ted? What are you doing here? Don't tell me your wanting another lottery ticket?" Martin said annoyed.

"No not this time. I saw the news that Nate was missing and I thought that maybe I should help you find him." Ted replied.

"What a surprise! We are also trying to find friend Nate. If you wanna help then the more the merrier as they say. Welcome to the team Theodore." Artur smiled.

"Oh you can call me Ted. Now Marty. Let's go find Nate!" Ted suggested.

Martin nodded and everyone headed off to find Nate. They started looking at P.S 38 to begin but in each classroom they looked Nate wasn't there. And for that matter Principal Nichols hasn't seen him. Then they tried looking at the bookstore where Nate went one time when trying to cheer Ellen up after a devastating breakup but he's not there. Next was each of his friends houses where they loved to hang out. But the parents didn't see him or their kids either. So far they were not having any luck finding him. They continued looking for Nate but after a couple of hours the sky started setting and everyone was tired and had to sit down on the curb.

"This is hopeless. We looked everywhere for Nate. But he's not anywhere to be found. Maybe he disappeared and never returned." Artur worried.

"Well that settles it. I'm going home. I have a date to plan." Ellen said bluntly.

But before she could leave Martin grabbed her by the collar and made her sit down.

"You are not going anywhere! You're staying right here til we find Nate whether you like it or not. Stop the whining and I don't wanna hear anymore complaining from you missy. Do you understand?" Martin stated.

Ellen looked at him nervously and answered. "Yes dad."

"Alright. Now I don't wanna hear another complaint out of you. Back on the subject. How are we gonna find Nate?" Martin asked.

"I wish I knew. If only there was someone out there who knows where Nate is and we can go there to find him." Artur wished.

"Well your in luck cause I can certainly make that wish come true." A voice said.

Everyone was a little surprised hearing that. Then suddenly they all saw Discord appear and Ellen screamed seeing him. But Discord used his magic to literally zip her lips shut.

"Man I would not wanna keep hearing her scream." Discord said.

"Who are you? And what kind of creature are you?" Martin asked.

"Oh that's right. We haven't met. I'm Discord the mischievous spirit chaos and disharmony. And for your information this creature is a male draconequus." He introduced.

"Well what are you doing here? And how did you know about my wish?" Artur asked.

"Easy Artur. I overheard you saying that you wanted to find Nate Wright. Well I can tell you this. He's in Equestria with his friends and the Main Six." Discord answered.

"How did you know my name? And are you sure that Nate is there?" Artur asked.

"Of course he is! And I'm A chaos god. I know many things Artur. But enough about that. Do you wish to see Nate again?" Discord asked.

"Yes Discord. Please take us to Equestria and let us reunite with Nate." Ted answered.

"As you wish." Discord replied.

So Discord snapped his fingers and transported everyone to Equestria. Soon after they arrived like Nate and his friends they too have taken different forms. When they woke up they saw themselves as anthro ponies. Martin was a red unicorn with a tail but no mane. Ellen was a magenta unicorn with the same blonde hair style. Ted and Artur became pegasi. Ted was a light brown pegasus and Artur was a dark yellow pegasus. Now everyone was a little surprised seeing their new forms and Ellen screamed again. Discord made a huge hammer and hit her in the head shutting her up.

"Ugh. She's gonna give everyone a headache if she doesn't stop." Discord said annoyed.

"What happened to us? Why are we ponies?" Martin asked.

"Well your all in a different world so it only makes sense that you all take a form to blend in. But no worries. You'll get used to it. Now lemme take you to Nate." Discord said.

So Discord led everyone to Canterlot where Nate should be. Martin and the rest of the crew can only hope that Nate is still there.





Meanwhile in the Frozen North Castle we see King Sombra looking at the different memories of Nate and his friends while Gina and Godfrey were trying to think of an evil plan for Sombra to take over Equestria.

"So these are the times Nate tried making middle school awesome huh? Quite a thinker and troublemaker at the same time. But also managed to learn from his mistakes. Though it is proven to be quite bad if he's with the Main Six." King Sombra said.

"Then we need to do separate him from those ponies. Once we do that then he won't have backup." Godfrey stated.

"Yeah. But has anyone seen Randy? He's been gone for a while." Gina wondered.

"Oh I know where he is. Look." King Sombra said as they all looked in the crystal ball seeing Randy with the Main Six and getting along with Pinkie. "So he choose to side with Nate did he? Well I should have expected that he lied to me and turned his back on the king."

"Ugh! Guess that leaves only the three of us to deal with Nate. But lucky for us I managed to come up with a plan to take Equestria. Me and Godfrey will kidnap the ponies and maybe a few other crushes they have and threatened them to surrender if they wish to see them again. Then King Sombra? You can do whatever and whenever you want to this pathetic Ponyville." Gina explained.

"Hmm. That's actually not a bad idea. With them out of the way Nate and his cronies won't be much of a problem and I will rule all of Equestria!! And I think there's room for a queen. Would you be interested Godfrey?" King Sombra offered.

"Well. I never thought about being a queen. But after we dispose Nate Wright I'm willing to take the offer. So yeah I accept." Godfrey said.

They shook hands and King Sombra smirked.

"Good. I think you'll make a good queen. And since we all have enemies to defeat together they won't stand a chance!" King Sombra shouted as he looked in the crystal ball.

While watching from the crystal ball he saw some memories of Nate and his friends developing crushes on Jenny and the Main Six. And after when Sombra finished watching the memories of Nate trying to win Jenny's heart he smirked and came up with an idea.

"So Nate and his friends have feelings for them do they? Well I think we should pay them a visit and see them in the flesh." Sombra smirked evily.

So the trio left the castle and headed straight to Canterlot. Since Sombra was a shadow king his turned into a shadow cloud and summoned two claws to carry them through the sky and make their way to the castle. The villains have something bad planned for the heroes. What can Nate and his friends do to stop them? Will they save the Main Six from Sombra and what will Brad Gunter do to help them get ready for the final battle? Only time will tell.
> Chapter 8: The Mission, Reunion and Kidnappings
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Everyone was on the train heading for Canterlot and it was taking a while to arrive. After about an hour our heroes finally arrived in Canterlot. They got off the train and headed straight for the castle. At the gate they were greeted by the guards.

"Halt! State your business!" One guard asked.

"Princess Celestia called for us. And as for the others they are with us." Twilight answered.

"Oh. Sorry for the inconvenience. Go on in." The other guard said.

The guards let our heroes in the castle and they made their way to see the princess. Now Nate wasn't sure who this Celestia was and is a little nervous meeting royalty. The same can be said for his friends. As they were walking to the throne room they admired the colored windows telling legends. Once they arrived in the throne room they were greeted by two ailcorns. One is white and a mane of blue, green and pink. She also has a sun cutie mark. She was Princess Celestia. The other is dark blue and a mane of stars. She was Luna. They smiled seeing the gang all here.

"Twilight Sparkle. I'm glad you and your friends could make it." Celestia smiled.

"Us too princess. Celestia I like you to meet our new friends. This is Nate Wright, Teddy Ortiz, Francis Pope, Chad Applewhite, Dee Dee Holloway, Randy and Jenny." Twilight introduced.

Celestia got off her throne and walked towards Nate. He was sweating a little but tried to remain calm.

"So your Nate Wright. The person that Twilight told me about?" Celestia asked.

"Um yes your Highness. And I also heard that Brad Gunter some how gave you the message about this." Nate answered.

"Why yes I did amigo." A male voice said.

Everyone turned and saw Brad Gunter sitting in Celestia's throne and smirked at Nate.

"Nate Wright. I'm glad you made it here. And I see you made quite some friends. Pleasure to meet you ladies." Brad said politely.

"So you're Brad Gunter." Twilight realized.

"Indeed I am. And I sent the message to Celestia because they need your help Nate Wright." Brad explained.

"Well what's the problem?" Nate asked.

"A terrible danger lurks in our kingdom. King Sombra has returned." 

"Uh who is King Sombra?" Teddy asked.

"Lemme explain. A thousand years ago King Sombra a unicorn whose heart is black as night took over the Crystal Empire." She said as the head of Sombra appeared. "He was ultimately overthrown, turned to shadow and banished into the ice of the Arctic North." She said as Sombra was trapped in the ice. "But not before he was able to place a curse on the empire. A curse that caused it to be banished into thin air." She finished as the map vanished.

"The Empire is filled with hope and love. And those things are reflected across Equestria." Celestia said as the crystal shined a rainbow. "But if hatred and fear take over then all lives will be lost." Celestia said as the crystal glowed evil trapping the two. Then she made it disappear.

"He has been defeated twice but somehow he's been revived and is planning on taking Equestria yet again. I called you here because you need to help us stop Sombra from taking over." Celestia finished.

"You want me and my friends stop an evil king? I mean that sounds cool and all but at the same time I'm A little scared because how are we supposed to defeat him?" Nate asked.

"That's easy Nate. I will help you and your friends train real hard to get ready for the battle. Since you were able to use your imagination to defeat the old bat Godfrey a few times I know you can do the same thing on Sombra. But I should warn you that Gina and Godfrey are working with him." Brad explained.

"WHAT?! Gina and Godfrey are here?! And they're working for King Sombra?!" Nate freaked out.

"That's crazy! How can Godfrey stoop that low?!" Francis asked.

"I know why." Randy said. "Because of me. I gave them too much power by bullying Nate and letting him take the blame. Each time they sent him to detention they keep getting more power and I regretted that every day. That's why I came to Nate to fix this. And I really don't want Godfrey locking you up again."

"So that's why you wanted to help us?" Dee Dee asked.

"Yes. And I promise after we stop Sombra I will never bully Nate again." Randy answered.

Nate smiled and fist bumped Randy saying that they will work together to save the day. Then suddenly the doors opened and Nate saw four familiar beings running towards him. His dad, sister, uncle and Artur. They all hugged him and cried a little.

"Oh friend Nate! I'm so glad you're okay! I was worried sick about you!" Artur smiled.

"Artur? Ellen? Dad? Uncle Ted? What are you all doing here?" Nate asked.

"We came here looking for you Nate. We were worried when you haven't returned home. But now that we found you we are so relieved that your not hurt." Martin answered.

"Yeah and......" Artur said.

But suddenly his eyes gazed upon Twilight. And his heart began pounding. He went to her and she suddenly felt her heart pounding too. But that love fest was cut short when the doors busted open and they gasped seeing the large shadow above them started taking the form of a familiar dark unicorn's head that had a red curved sharp horn and a pair of glowing red eyes. It then placed two other beings down and took a human pony form. King Sombra smirked and laughed evil.

"Well well well. If it isn't Nate Wright. We finally meet face to face." King Sombra said.

"And I'm guessing you're King Sombra. And Gina? Godfrey? I should have known you two were up to no good and are working with him." Nate growled.

"Oh believe it Nate. Cause now we're gonna take Equestria and make you go through another year of middle school. Under Godfrey's close supervision." Gina said.

"That's right Nate. And since I became a half dragon and half pony I guess you can say that I am the creature teacher now. I hope your ready. Cause we'll make sure that you'll never see your precious awesomeness do it's magic on this place again." Godfrey growled.

"Easy Godfrey. Save that energy for when we really get ready to fight them. But for now..." King Sombra replied.

Using his staff he zapped the Main Six and Jenny and levatated them and conjured a huge cage made of dark energy and threw them all in. Nate and his friends gasped seeing that.

"No!! What are you doing to them?!" Nate yelled.

"Let them go you monster!!" Randy agreed.

"I don't think so. Since Randy wanted to turn his back on me this is the price he pays. Now if you want to see them again you better be ready to fight me at my castle! And if not.....well then all of Equestria is doomed and I will be the new king." Sombra said.

He laughed evily and turned into shadow and flew out of the castle with Gina and Godfrey following behind and slammed the doors shut. Nate and his friends were all in shock. Sombra kidnapped all the Main Six and Jenny. 

"Oh this is seriously bad guys! Sombra kidnapped the Main Six and Jenny!! What are we gonna to do?! We can't fight Sombra!" Nate freaked.

"He's too powerful! And with Gina and Godfrey by his side has only added to his power!" Francis added.

"Whoa whoa. Relax amigos. It's gonna be ok. I won't let you guys go unprepared. I will train you real hard and get you in shape so you can stop King Sombra and his cronies. And I will also give you a little upgrade that will prove useful later on. Are you ready?" Brad asked.

Nate and his friends looked at each other and got determined looks on their faces meaning that they will do whatever it takes to save them.

"Yes we are. Brad let's begin training and take the fight to Sombra." Nate said and the others agreed.

"Wait." Artur said as everyone turned to him. "If your going to deal with Sombra. Lemme in on it too."

"Artur. Are you sure? He's dangerous." Nate asked.

"It's what you would do right? That was actually a lesson you taught me. Of how to defend myself. Plus I found that purple ailcorn really cute. So yeah I wanna help too." Artur answered.

Nate was shocked after hearing that. Then Spike came to him as well.

"So do i. Rarity is my dream girl and Twilight is my friend. So please Nate. Let us help you." Spike added.

Nate took some time to process everything they said. On one hand he and his group are enough but at the same time he would defeat King Sombra a lot quicker if he had some extra help. So ultimately he came up with his answer.

"Ok. Artur, Spike. You can help us. So let's begin training with Brad Gunter and stop Sombra." Nate answered.

Then Artur and Spike hugged Nate and he returned it to the both of them. After a few minutes they separated and faced Brad Gunter once more.

"Well done Nate. Letting more warriors in the group and building your army. Now follow me as we now can begin training and get you prepared to fight the king of shadows." Brad said.

He pushed Luna's throne to the side and opened up a secret door that headed in. Then all the other members followed him through the secret pathway and after Artur was the last one in he closed it and all we see his dad wishing Nate good luck out there.

"Good luck son. Be safe out there." Martin said.

And so Nate and his friends will all band together to be the fearless warriors to save the Main Six and Jenny from Sombra's evil clutches. Can they do it? Let's hope they do.
> Chapter 9: Training with Brad Gunter

The gang continued following Brad Gunter til they reached a very dark room that was so wide open. Then when Brad turned the light on everyone was so surprised at the sight. It was a huge training room with all sorts of weapons and there's even special armor that he created himself for Nate and his friends.

"Welcome one and all to my special training room!" Brad said.

"Wow Brad! When you think you really think big." Teddy exclaimed.

"That's the whole idea Teddy. Now I brought you in here because I'm gonna help you amigos get ready for the battle to save Jenny and the Main Six from King Sombra. You got the basics of the pony talents down but you gotta up your skills to truly stop Sombra. Are you ready?" Brad asked.

"Yes. For Jenny and our friends we are more than ready Brad." Nate answered.

Soon all the others agreed and Brad smiled.

"I'm glad to hear that. Alright! Let's begin! To start things off were gonna do some one on one sparing to see where everyone's at. Pick a partner." Brad said.

So everyone did what Brad told them to do and picked a partner. Nate paired with Randy, Teddy with Dee Dee, Francis with Chad and Artur with Spike. Then Brad pressed a button and out came four training rings and they knew instantly that they are gonna do some wrestling.

"Ok. Now enter a ring and get ready to RUMBLE!!!!!!" Brad shouted.

They all entered a ring and once Brad rang the bell the wrestling began. Soon everyone was practicing some wrestling moves on each other and were really going at it. Nate was giving Randy his all and he was doing the same. Teddy was trying his best to counter Dee Dee's moves and she was not backing down. Francis tried out some sneaky ninja moves but Chad for some reason keeps dodging each one. Artur did his best to counter Spike's dragon moves and so far he was doing okay but needed a little improvement. Then after two hours Brad rang the bell again and everyone stopped wrestling.

"Nice work little warriors. But just those won't be enough. Because it's time for some magic based training. You already did good on levatation but let's see if you can do much more with different spells. Nate, Francis? Let's see you guys work your magic." Brad replied.

The two nodded and Brad brought out some training dummies in here. Francis went first and used his magic to create a sword and sliced one in half. Then Nate used his magic to create a dragon spirit. He then controlled it and used the dragon to destroy six dummies at once. Then they continued using different spells and destroyed more dummies til the both of them destroyed the very last one. Brad clapped his hands and smirked.

"Impressive boys. You really put a lot of effort into this. You mastered the unicorn magic fully. Now it's time for the pegasi to have a go. So Teddy, Chad and Artur? It's time for you guys to take things to the sky. Now up there are a few targets that you need to hit while flying. Go get them!" Brad exclaimed.

The trio spread their wings and flew into the air. They flew and saw the targets that Brad explained and hit them with either their hooves or their hands. They all did karate moves and continued flying til they were getting a little tired from all the flying and hitting they did. Brad guided them to come down and they did just that.

"Alright. Not bad comrades. But you'll need to be at full strength to take down Sombra. Take a break and we'll continue later. But for now it's time for the earth pony to unleash the inner beast and true strength. Dee Dee? See that stone wall? I want you to unleash your beast and use your strength to break it down." Brad explained.

She nodded and focused directly at the stone wall. Then she tried punching it but it was too hard and hurt her hand. But then she remembered what Brad said. She needed to unleash her inner beast and true strength. So doing that she growled and attacked the wall more furiously and kicked it too. Then when the wall was fully weak and cracked Dee Dee delivered the final blow and the wall was destroyed into little pieces. Brad smirked and nodded.

"Nice punching and kicking Dee Dee girl! But we all still got a long way to go. Alright comrades that was a good warm up! Now let's take this to the next level and we'll see what you can really do!" Brad explained to everyone.

So he took out a radio and pressed it to play some music as a montage began.



And so everyone got in position and ready for Brad's second part of the training course. Nate and his friends possessed a few weapons and began learning how to use them. While they were doing that Brad started singing. He sang about helping Nate and his friends prepare for the big fight.

As Brad was singing we see Nate and his friends doing everything they can to be ready for the battle. Nate and Randy practiced using different enchanted swords and doing sword battles to see which one is best to use. Teddy and Chad used different goggles to try and get a good look on their enemies and see which pair is best to catch them before they can escape. Dee Dee tried on a pair of metal fists so she won't hurt her hands anymore and make it easier to destroy any walls and use her strength better. After when he finished singing the gang all panted heavy and Brad smiled seeing all the progress they made.

"Well done everyone. You all have shown true potential and bravery. For that you are ready to fight King Sombra. But first we gotta get you guys geared up!" Brad smiled.

He pressed another button and the wall revealed a collection of different enchanted armor and everyone stared at it starry eyed. Then they all went to the collection and began picking what armor they want. Nate choose the lightning armor, Randy had the lava armor, Teddy choose the strong wind armor, Francis had the magic armor, Dee Dee had the strong earth armor, Chad had the regular steel armor, Spike wore some dragon enchanted armor, and Artur had some tiger painted armor. Each one was decorated in the style they were designed and had some power flowing through it. 

"Wow! These suits of armor are so awesome! Sombra doesn't stand a chance against us now!!" Nate cheered.

"Whoa comrade. I like your confidence but the armor isn't the only thing you need. Everyone choose a weapon and I will decide what position in this army you'll have." Brad added.

Everyone nodded and looked at all the weapons their were. Nate and Randy both had swords. Nate had a lightning one while Randy had a fire one. Teddy and Francis had crossbows and different tipped arrows. Chad had a warhammer, Artur carried laser gloves he's wearing, and Spike had a sword like Nate and Randy do only his sword is light energy fused. Brad liked all the weapons they picked and smiled.

"Nice weapons you picked! Alright now you're fully ready to take down King Sombra. And from this day you will no longer be called Nate and Friends. No. When out there in battle you'll be known as The Awesome Eight!" Brad declared.

"The Awesome Eight huh? I like the sound of that." Nate said.

"Nate you will hereby be known as the leader of this team. Randy will be your second in command and for the rest of you guys you'll all help each other when you get stuck in a jam. Now your mission will not be easy. You have to save Jenny and the Main Six from King Sombra. But in order to get to him you'll need to take out Gina and Godfrey first. Once they are taken care of then Sombra won't have backup." Brad explained.

"Ok deal with Gina and Godfrey first then take out Sombra. Ok we got it Brad." Francis said.

"Oh and one more thing. Sombra will summon shadow minions to try and slow you down. Don't let him summon too much or else you won't make it. Which is why I have something else you might need to help you get through his evil army." Brad added.

He took out a large box and gently carried a powerful atom and placed it in Nate's chest. He started glowing and his blood cells flexed meaning that the power was starting to kick in. He did the same thing with the others and they too got the same reaction Nate did. Though they were confused why he did.

"Those things I placed in your bodies are called Imagination Atoms. And they are the most powerful energy sources I found in caves underneath Equestria. Those say that if one possesses an Imagination Atom then they will be able to imagine anything that can possibly help them stop any evil." Brad explained.

"Ohh." Everyone realized.

"Well thanks Brad. Now that we everything we need were ready to fight King Sombra and his cronies." Nate said with confidence.

"Yeah. And we will save Jenny and the Main Six and prevent Equestria from falling into darkness." Randy added.

"I'm glad you are willing to do anything to save them. Now get out there and do what you are meant to be. Destined for awesomeness. And also remember this that those who are destined for awesomeness never keep there heads down. Now go out there and win the day!" Brad said.

He pressed another button and this one allowed Nate and his friends to be escalated from the training room and outside the castle. They all have fearless looks on their faces and began walking in the direction of where Sombra's lair can be. The gang were all ready and the battle awaits them.
> Chapter 10: The Awesome Eight vs Gina
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nate and his friends were still walking to find Sombra's lair. But the journey was long and they kept trying to get through the snowy parts of Equestria. Then suddenly they found themselves at a distant kingdom not far from Canterlot. Seeing it had a crystal-like appearance, it appealed to his interest. But then they saw a bunch of shadows running around and causing chaos to all the ponies in the kingdom.

"Um guys? I think Sombra sent out some shadows trying to destroy that kingdom!" Nate feared.

"That's no ordinary kingdom Nate! That's The Crystal Empire! Cadence and Shining Armor rule that place but if shadows are running around then we gotta help them!" Spike said.

"Alright. Guys! Let's save that kingdom first and then go after Sombra!" Nate declared.

So they ran to the Crystal Empire and unleashed their weapons all ready to fight. They entered the empire and started attacking the shadows. Nate and Randy used their swords and slashed some in half. Teddy and Francis shot arrows at them and they were weakened from the tips that made them explode in the light. Chad bashed each of the shadows heads into the ground with the warhammer and they went kaboom! Artur blasted them in the chest with his laser gloves and Spike burned them with his fire. Dee Dee used her super strength to break the shadows and they vanished into thin air. After an hour they were all getting a little tired.

"Is that the last of them?" Nate asked.

"I don't think so Nate! Look! More of them are coming!!" Randy pointed out.

They see more shadows attacking and with take a long time trying to defeat all of them.

"This won't work! Were gonna have to destroy the source! If we can do that then the shadows won't keep coming! But where can it be?" Francis asked.

"Maybe they're coming from that light right there?" Chad asked.

He pointed and everyone saw a beam of purple light coming from behind the Crystal Empire as more shadows were coming from that and everyone saw what they had to do now.

"Ok. We destroy that source of that light and then we go after Sombra. Come on guys!" Nate said.

The gang all headed in the direction of the purple light and also fought more shadow minions on the way. After destroying more shadows they finally arrived behind the Crystal Empire and what they saw next got their attention. There was a machine being operated by someone and was also causing the shadows to come out and attack. Nate recognized the hair and when the unicorn turned around everyone gasped! It was Gina doing this!

"Gina. I should have known it was you the whole time." Nate growled.

"Well Nate. I see you and your so called friends made it here. But you made it all the easier for me to turn you in to Mrs Godfrey. So Nate? How would you feel about another year in detention? And under Godfrey's close personal supervision?" Gina asked.

"No way am I letting that happen. Now where is Jenny and the Main Six? We know Sombra took them so much where are they?!" Nate demanded.

"Hahahaha! I'll never tell you that Nate. And now you must face the wrath of my impressive tank! Say good night losers!!" Gina yelled.

She actived the tank and it began rolling. While she was moving Gina also summoned more shadows with her portal laser. Nate saw that it was causing the shadows to be here and needed to destroy that. So using his unicorn magic he blasted Gina and zapped her bad as she screamed. That bought him some time to use his sword and instantly destroy the laser. The shadows all disappeared and Gina used her own magic and it hit Nate but his friends helped him up.

"What have you done?! Now I have to fix that! Ohh you just wait til......." Gina replied.

But then another beam of magic blasted her in the face and she fell down. She got up and saw that Francis attacked her.

"Your not getting Nate! Now where did Sombra take the girls?!" Francis asked.

"I'm still not telling you losers! And now you're gonna pay!" Gina shouted.

She began rolling towards the heroes in her tank. Dee Dee came in front and used her strength to damage the front and jumped on the tank and rapidly began punching her. Then everyone else came on the tank and joined in the fight. But Gina used her magic to create a shockwave and got everyone off. The tank continued rolling and Nate needed to stop it.

"What are we gonna do?! Gina's tank is still rolling!" Nate worried.

"I got an idea! I'll try and distract her, Nate you can use some lightning to fry the circuitry, and Randy? Since you have lava armor maybe you can summon a huge lava ball to destroy it!" Teddy suggested.

"Now that is a plan! Teddy! Distract her! And Randy? Once I fry the circuitry long enough turn the heat up will you?" Nate asked.

"I gotcha there Nate! Let's do this!" Randy answered.

So Teddy flew in the air and shot some arrows at the tank. Some of them went in the circuits while others were just annoying Gina.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" Gina asked.

She tried blasting Teddy with her magic but he dodged. And what Gina didn't know that it was all a trap we was falling for. And while she was distracted Nate came and took out his sword and sent waves of electricity through and into the engines overheating at and suddenly after five minutes the engine blew and the tank stopped moving and Gina almost flew out but she kept her balance.

"Stop destroying my indestructible tank!!" Gina growled.

"For the record it's not indestructible! And your not going to hurt anymore ponies!" Nate stated.

"Whatever! You can't tell me what to do Nate!" Gina talked back.

"Actually I can. Because we all know something that you don't." Nate replied.

"What's that?" Gina asked.

"That after all the trouble you caused me the only one in hot water is you! Randy?" Nate smirked.

Randy nodded and raised his hands and conjured a giant ball of lava. When Gina saw that she immediately got really scared.

"Oh nuts." Gina squeaked.

Then after she said that Randy threw the lava ball and Nate jumped out of the way. Once the lava ball made impact the tank exploded into a million bits and Gina screamed while flying in the air. She came falling back down and landed hard on the ground. Then everyone surrounded her and Gina tried using her magic. But since she was hurt and weak from the explosion she couldn't.

"You might wanna relinquish the title of the smartest kid of P.S 38 pal." Nate smirked.

"No. I...won't. You may have destroyed my tank but that won't stop me from telling Godfrey on....." Gina said.

But then Randy punched her in the face and she was knocked out cold.

"Oh shut up Smarty McFat!!" Randy yelled.

Nate grabbed the unconscious body of Gina and signaled Francis to open a portal back to the Canterlot Castle and once he did Nate threw her in the portal and it closed. One enemy was down but they still need to deal with King Sombra and Godfrey.

"Ok guys. We did good but Jenny and the Main Six are still captured. We need to get back on track and continue to head out to his lair." Nate replied.

They all nodded in agreement knew that their journey is far from over.

"Hey guys!!"

They turned and they saw two ponies coming towards them. One was a male unicorn pony and happens to be Twilight Sparkle's older brother: Shining Armor. The other was a female ailcorn and the wife of Shining: Princess Cadence.

"Thanks for stopping those shadows. We tried clearing them ourselves but there were too many of them. And did you say that Twilight and her friends got kidnapped?!" Shining asked.

"It's true. King Sombra snatched them and is no doubt keeping them prisoners in his lair. Were on our way now to rescue them." Nate explained.

"If your gonna to stop Sombra from taking Equestria....let's us help you too. I'm Shining Armor. Twilight's brother and also my best friend. This is Cadence. She's my wife and was Twilight's old foalsitter. We know more about Sombra so let us help you." Shining replied.

Nate though about this. On one hand he has a good enough army to take out Sombra but on the other hand they really don't know Sombra well. So if they can help like Spike and Artur will then he needs all the help he can get.

"Alright. You can join us. Since you both are Twilight's brother and old foalsitter we need all the help we can get." Nate answered.

"Thank you. We promise to help you guys save the girls." Cadence said.

"Ok. Come on everyone. We gotta head to Sombra's lair. There's no time to waste." Nate said.

So Cadence and Shining Armor joined the team and everyone continued their way to find Sombra's hideout. The girls are depending on them.
> Chapter 11: Battling The Creature Teacher

The gang continued walking through the really cold parts of Equestria. The wind was blowing hard, the snow was getting in everyone's face, and the temperature was below freezing. They can't stop now even if they wanted to. Besides they still need to save the girls and stop Sombra. 

"Hey Shining? You said you knew more about King Sombra right? Well what exactly do you know about him?" Nate wondered.

"Well. Long ago when the Crystal Empire was around King Sombra had taken control. He enslaved all the crystal ponies and forced them to do his bidding. Then when Celestia and Luna banished him he placed a curse on the empire causing it to disappear. When me and Cadence got married we now took control when it returned. But so did King Sombra. He almost got away with it when Cadence's spell couldn't last long and the only way to defeat him was to power the Crystal Heart and vanquish him for good." Shining explained.

"Wow. That's quite impressive. And honestly were glad that you and Cadence rule the Crystal Empire. Cause we can't imagine what would happen if Sombra got his hands on the empire again." Chad said.

"Yes. But then he returned again and tried taking Canterlot. If he claims Canterlot's throne then all of friendship and harmony would perish forever." Cadence worried.

"Ooh. That's not good. And I have something to confess. I accidentally brought Sombra back." Randy said sheepish.

"WHAT?!" Everyone shouted.

"You brought Sombra back?! Why would you do that Randy?!" Nate asked.

"I'm sorry! I was with Gina and Godfrey when we first arrived. I had second thoughts when I heard them planning to take Equestria and Sombra wants Godfrey to be his queen once they stopped us! I couldn't bear myself to put you in danger. Plus I promised Pinkie that I wouldn't do anything like that anymore. That's why I'm not bullying you. I attend to keep that promise and rescue her!" Randy explained.

Everyone then calmed down after hearing what Randy said. Since he's not with the bad guys anymore he is willing to keep the promise to Pinkie Pie and save her.

"Ok. We understand. But keep this in mind for the future that you cannot summon other villains from the past here. That will cause more chaos and we don't want that." Cadence said.

"Noted Cadence. I won't do that again." Randy swore.

They all smiled hearing that and continued onward. But then after three hours a figure landed in front of the group and revealed to be the half pony and half dragon creature Godfrey. She growled and stared at Nate dead in the eye.

"Well Nate Wright. Impressive that you come all this way. But as you can see Sombra is far busy with getting things ready for our little wedding." Godfrey said.

"You're gonna marry him?! That is so wrong! And were not letting Sombra getting away with this!!" Shining yelled.

"Oh really? Well I would say otherwise. And Nate? You best be ready to bring your A game because once I defeat you I will send you straight to my special detention center!!" Godfrey threatened.

"I don't think so Godfrey. Besides I think you forgot about one thing. I have imagination in me so therefore we'll see who will be sent to the detention center! Spoilers it's you!" Nate smirked.

So using his imagination he summoned a zodiac stone and pressed a few buttons on it and eight glowing animal spirits came out and flew high. Then they zoomed straight into Nate and his friends and the eyes glowed green and began each of their transformations. Nate turned into a furious cheetah, Randy became a raging gorilla, Teddy and Chad turned into hawks, Dee Dee was a rampaging bull, Artur was now a vicious snake, Francis was now a tiger, and Spike became a bigger dragon. They all growled at Godfrey and prepared for battle. And she was a little scared.

"Oh. So you wanna make this a fair fight huh? Well then....put them up!!" Godfrey said.

Then they all charged into battle! We start off with Randy slamming his fists on Godfrey's head and she landed on the ground chin first! He landed in front of her and roared! Then suddenly Teddy and Chad came flying down and using those sharp claws they scratched her back bad!

"YEOW!! That's gonna hurt in the morning!" Godfrey yelled.

She saw Teddy and Chad and tried breathing fire at them. But the two dodged and she tried flying after them. But Randy grabbed her and slammed her into the ground and Dee Dee charged and hit her in the stomach which sent her flying and fell down. Godfrey roared and charged after her. But Nate ran and climbed on her back and scratched one of the wings bad!

"AHHH!! MY WING!" Godfrey cried.

"You ain't attacking my friends! And even though I don't like cats I'm not scared this time!! But you are gonna tell me us where Sombra is keeping the girls in his lair!!" Nate yelled.

He then scratched up the other wing bad and ran and delivered a scratch on her face leaving a scar. She growled as she removed her hand from the scar.

"Oh you are so gonna get it now." Godfrey spoke darkly.

But before she could Spike rammed into her and began fighting her. Spike punched and breathed fire in Godfrey's face as she yelled in pain. She tried punching back and she did get a few lucky punches in but when she was about to deliver another one Spike caught her fist and smirked.

"Tough luck Godfrey. Now let's see if you will tell us where Sombra is keeping the girls in his lair." Spike said.

Then he punched her and breathed fire and engulfed all over her body and she screamed. And finally Artur slithered and bit her in the neck and she screamed so long that she couldn't go on any longer. Artur released his grip on her neck leaving two holes and everyone continued fighting. Then after 15 minutes she gave in.

"Alright! Alright! I'll tell you! Just don't burn me anymore! He's keeping them in his throne room! If you win against him in a battle you'll free them! Now please don't make me feel anymore pain! Please!" Godfrey cried.

Spike heard enough and everyone returned back to their pony forms and Nate grabbed Godfrey and looked at her dead in the eye.

"You gave us enough info Godfrey. But I'm afraid we gotta think of a punishment for you til we get back. But until then you will wait handcuffed in Canterlot Castle where Celestia and Luna will keep an eye on you. Francis?" Nate asked.

He nodded and opened a portal to the castle and Nate threw Godfrey in there. Once she landed in the castle the portal closed and everyone knew what now must be done.

"Ok guys. Sombra has the girls in his throne room. Now we gotta get to his castle and stop him. Once we do then we can save them." Nate said.

Everyone nodded and made their way and finally arrived at the sinister dark looking castle. They knew the girls were in there and they won't turn back now. So one by one they all entered the castle and now they can only hope that they will stop King Sombra now.
> Chapter 12: The Final Fight with King Sombra

In the castle we see Nate and the gang quietly sneaking around because they need to be quiet so they won't alert any of Sombra's guards that could be lurking around. They walked down the hallways and quietly looked in the different rooms and needless to say that each one is more creepy than the last. King Sombra was not playing around. And with Nate he too was creeped out.

"Man. This castle is creepier than the time I tried making P.S 38 haunted to skip out on a science test. But this is far over than I thought." Nate said.

"You're telling me Nate. This is far worse than anything you came with." Teddy agreed.

The group continued looking around the castle and finally they arrived at the throne room doors. Nate slowly opened them and everyone went in. When the doors closed they saw different paintings of Sombra, evil looking decorated walls, and even the crystal ball.

"So. You finally arrived. I was beginning to think that you wouldn't show up." A sinister voice said.

The group turned and saw King Sombra sitting on his throne and smirked evil at them. Then he got up and slowly walked to them.

"King Sombra. We meet once again." Nate said.

"Yes. I will certainly give you credit Nate. I didn't except you and your friends to show up here. But you proved me wrong. And I bet you came for them?" King Sombra asked.

He snapped his fingers and revealed Jenny and The Main Six in their cages.

"You let them go now Sombra! Or we'll have to mess you up really bad!" Teddy raged.

"Oh really now? You might have bested Gina and my queen Godfrey who I was gonna marry but you won't beat me." King Sombra said.

"Why don't you try and face us now shadow creep? We took out your little goons and we darn sure can defeat you right here right now!" Randy challenged.

"Yeah I'm sure." Sombra said sarcastic. "Besides your already too late. Soon I will use their magic to vanquish Celestia and Luna from existence. And then I will be the most powerful king of all!"

"That's not happening Sombra! Release the girls! Or face our wrath!!" Nate yelled.

"Oh so you wanna fight is that it? Well then..... Let's dance." King Sombra said getting in position.

He turned into a eerie shadow cloud like monster and then everyone charged into battle. And soon everyone began fighting him in the same way we saw at the beginning. Cadence and Shining Armor trying weakening him but he ended up trapping them too. And after a few minutes suddenly the entire screen froze and we see Nate coming to the readers.

"So here we are again. A team that is currently trying to stop King Sombra. Yep we had some good times but also scary ones too. Wanna know how it ends? Yeah me too." Nate said.

We unfreeze the screen and see everyone still fighting Sombra. Now he was one tough guy and no matter how hard they tried beating him he always gained the upper hand and suddenly overpowered Nate and the crew. They crashed into a wall and fell down all tired. Sombra smirked seeing the fallen heroes.

"Ha! Just as I thought. Your no hero. Your just a bunch of sixth graders who always cause lots of trouble.  Face it. You never belonged here. You are better off without being awesome." Sombra snarked.

The girls worried seeing Nate and his friends on the ground all hurt. Then a spirit of Brad Gunter appeared next to Nate with a powerful message.

"Nate. Don't give up hope. Remember that those who are destined for awesomeness never keep their heads down. You gotta think big." Brad replied.

The girls lowered their heads in sadness thinking that Nate and his friends are defeated. But suddenly Nate's eyes flew open and a surge of energy flowed through him and his friends too. Then they slowly rose up and gave Sombra angry looks and got in position. Sombra was shocked.

"What?! How is this possible?!" Sombra asked.

"Easy Sombra. I may be a sixth grader who does cause some trouble but you forget that I can learn from the mistakes. And now me and my friends will take you down and save the girls!" Nate said.

"Ok. So I guess you really want to be defeated. Shall we begin round two?" Sombra replied.

So everyone charged into battle yet again and this time Nate and his friends gained the upper hand. We start off with Nate using his magic and lightning sword to shock him in pain. Then Chad and Teddy flew in circles making Sombra super dizzy and forced him to his normal form. When he recovered he tried blasting them with his dark magic...only for Chad to hit him in the head with the warhammer. Dee Dee ran and kicked him right in the nuts as he yelled in pain and then kicked him in the face. Then Randy using his imagination threw some fireballs and punched him repeatedly over and over again til he was in a bright red light which Randy was causing. After the last punch he took Sombra's head was aching and while his guard was down Spike took the advantage took trip him over and breathed fire on him. Finally Artur flew around him making a strong tornado causing him to get caught in the wind and went up. When the wind died down he fell and landed hard on his back. Groaning he picked himself up.

"Ow. Ok now you done it!!" Sombra growled.

"Guess what King Sombra? Were not leaving Equestria. YOU are! Guys? Time to shine a light on things!!" Nate said.

So with everyone using their imaginations they all created a special device that is powered by solar energy and aimed at Sombra. When he recovered he only met his fate when Randy pressed the button and a beam of pure light blasted straight in his heart and he groaned in serious pain. Then suddenly cracks began forming in him and when he saw them he yelled in pain and exploded! That also caused all the dark energy to the castle disappear and the cages exploded too freeing everyone. They ran to the gang and hugged them.

"You did it! Thank you for saving us!" Fluttershy said.

"We had too Fluttershy. Besides you were too cute to be kept prisoner in here." Francis smiled.

Fluttershy cried happy tears and to everyone's surprise she kissed him! Normally Nate would been disgusted by that sort of thing. But considering he did noticed some love intentions going on he accepted that. Soon the girls took each hand from one of Nate's friends and kissed them. Nate was happy that they had their lovers and then he saw Jenny coming towards him.

"Nate. You saved me. I didn't know that you had it in you." Jenny said.

"Well considering that you were in danger I knew it was the only way to save you. Plus I wanted to say that so sorry for stalking you back at P.S 38. So now that you're free I suppose you want to hang with Artur. And I will respect your decision." Nate replied.

"Actually Nate. You did save me from Sombra. And the fact I see Artur hanging out with Twilight." Jenny said pointing at Artur who is hugging and kissing Twilight. "So you know what? You finally did the one thing you couldn't do back at P.S 38: win my heart. Well you finally did Nate Wright."

"Really? So are you saying....." Nate asked.

"Yes. I'm now your girlfriend after so many years of trying. Now come here." Jenny said opening her arms.

Nate cried happy tears and hugged Jenny. She did the same thing in return and when they looked in each other's eyes they both shared their first kiss.





Back at Canterlot in the castle Celestia and Luna were so glad to hear that King Sombra is no more and that the darkness as vanished for good. They also smiled seeing his dad and uncle actually dating the Royal Sisters now. Wanna know why? Because while Nate and his friends were on the adventure they took the time to bond with them.

"Well done Nate Wright. I knew that you and your team needed to work up some courage, nothing more. I saw the signs of King Sombra's return, and I knew it was you who had the magic inside to defeat him, but you could not unleash it until you let true friendship into your heart. We thank you Nate and your friends for saving the girls." Celestia smiled.

"You're welcome Celestia. So now that Sombra's gone what should we do now?" Nate asked.

"Well don't get ahead of yourself Nate. Even though you stopped me and Gina you are still a degenerate! So it's straight back to detention for you!" Godfrey replied.

"No. In fact after what Nate and his friends did I decided to let them stay in Equestria and have them as the guests of honor for the Grand Galloping Gala tonight. As for you Godfrey you and Gina caused nothing but trouble since you came here. So guards! Take them away to Tartarus!" Celestia ordered.

The guards obeyed and placed them in handcuffs.

"Wait a minute! I was only joking! Can't we talk about this?" Godfrey asked.

"No. NOW OFF WITH YOU IDIOTS!!" Luna said with the Royal Canterlot voice.

The two freaked a little and the guards took them as Godfrey lowered her head in defeat and Gina was cried as she was kicking and screaming trying to break free but no prevail. She then hanged on the door so they wouldn't take her to jail. But the guards released her grip and closed the gates.

"She might wanna get a few anger management lessons in." Nate smirked.

"Your telling me. That brat really needs some controlling. And you know what? We actually make a good team." Randy agreed.

"Yes we do Randy. Now let's celebrate at this Grand Galloping Gala!" Nate replied.

"Now that is a great idea Nate! It's been a while since we been to any dances! So let's go to the Gala! And we have dates!" Teddy said all giddy.

The gang all agreed and they went to the girls to discuss the plans for the Gala. And since Nate and his friends are the guests of honor it only makes sense that they will attend the occasion.
> Chapter 13: The Gala and A Bright Future

The night of the Gala came and outside of the castle we see Nate and the gang waiting for the girls to arrive. Each of them were wearing fancy tuxes. Nate had a purple one, Jenny had on a magenta dress, while the others had a black tux on. Heck even his dad and uncle were dressed for the occasion.

"I can't believe that we are gonna attend this Grand Galloping Gala." Nate said.

"Me either. This is quite an invitation. And the fact that Celestia made us the guests of honor. This is gonna be such a grand night." Teddy agreed.

"For sure. And Nate?" Jenny said as Nate looked at her. "I hope that the Gala doesn't end up like last time you took me to a school dance."

"Trust me Jenny. It won't be like that. I changed and you can trust me that won't leave you hanging." Nate promised.

Jenny smiled and at the same time a carriage arrived. When it landed out came the Main Six and Spike. The girls had on the gala dresses that were featured in the Make New Friends but Keep Discord episode. Spike had his tux and top hat. The girls smiled and went to each of their dates. The boys blushed from their beauty.

"Whoa. Pinkie. You look beautiful tonight. Like really." Randy replied.

"Thank you. I hope you are sharing a dance with me tonight." Pinkie flirted.

"Well I can promise you that I will." Randy responded

"And Twilight. I have to admit that you are definitely fit to look beautiful like a princess. I'm sure we will be dancing the night way." Artur responded.

"Oh Artur. That's so sweet of you to say. But aren't you with Jenny?" Twilight asked.

"I was. But Jenny and I had a talk and since she accepted that I had feelings for you, it's only fair that I accept her feelings for Nate. Besides. I meant it when I said that you are cute." Artur answered.

Twilight could only smile and she had Artur take her arm and led her in. Then everyone else did the same thing with their dates and they all headed in the castle.





Once in we see them enjoying their time here. Even Ted and Martin were with Celestia and Luna in their dresses. Celestia's was yellow with some purple trimmings and Luna's was a midnight blue with diamonds around it decorated like stars. Back with Nate and his friends they were all having a good time.

"Wow Nate. The Gala looks beautiful. I have to say that this may be better than P.S 38's dances. And Nate? I can't believe that you didn't leave me hanging since we arrived here." Jenny said surprised.

"I made a promise to you. I attend to keep it." Nate said honestly.

"Nate. You definitely changed. But I like it. I'm so sorry I called you annoying. Now I see your true colors." Jenny replied.

"It's ok. And I'm sorry for stalking you all those years. I feel guilty about it." Nate apologized.

"Hey that's in the past now Nate. And plus since you finally won my heart I now see you as a awesome hero." Jenny assured.

"Thanks. Hey Jenny? Would you like a dance with me?" Nate asked.

"I would be honored Nate Wright. Let's dance." Jenny answered.

So the two went to the dance floor and a slow song started playing.



As the music started playing Nate thought he should try singing. So he took a deep breath and surprisingly started singing right on key. Jenny started to close her eyes as she let the music go in her ears and has taken over. Then she joined Nate in singing and they danced in a wonderful waltz. But what they didn't know is that since Nate has the Imagination Atom in him it created a magic show full of love as they danced. Then when the song ended they came close and kissed which the magic formed a heart and exploded into fireworks. Everyone oohed and aahed at it and cheered for them.

"You guys that was amazing! What a show!!" Francis said.

"Now that gives a meaning to 'love's in the air'." Teddy commented.

"You bet Teddy. And hey. I may not have made P.S 38 awesome but I did show that awesomeness comes from inside and when you release it you can do anything. Like how we stopped Sombra." Nate replied.

"Yes Nate. You and your friends did very well." A male voice said.

The group turned and saw Brad Gunter leaning on the side wall.

"I knew you could do it. And for that you show everyone how awesome you really are. Proud of you kid. You will be considered as a legend for generations to come." Brad smiled.

"Thank you Brad. For everything." Nate said.

"Anytime Nate. Now if you need anything else or if another villain comes running around.....I will be there to help you. But for now my job here is done." Brad replied.

And like that he flew in the air and Nate gave a salute to him that he will see him next time. Then he saw Randy in front of him.

"Hey Nate. Listen. I was so glad to help you stop King Sombra. And you know what? After everything we've been through I feel like we can actually be friends instead of enemies. What do you say that tomorrow we go to Sugarcube Corner and celebrate this?" Randy offered.

"I like that Randy." Nate answered.

The two laughed and went back in the Gala to continue enjoying the night. The camera zooms out til we see the whole castle shimmering in the night. And thus my friends ends this story of Nate Wright.
