> Big Brother > by KaiurioIsTires > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Watching over The Moon > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Prince Artemis! Please come back!" Yelled one of the royal butlers, that were put up to the assignment of watching over their Lords little brother while he attended an important meeting with the other Equss rulers., in hopes of settling a fair peace treaty between kingdoms. And in hopes that the global lord can settle things straight. But if only their lord has mentioned that Prince Artemis, is no different then any other child his age. Well he's actually billions years of old but Equssians round that age up to around 6. Which didn't make any of this any better for the poor staff that was current in a high speed chase of the young Moon God. Who was faster then any of the Valkyrie and Saroniye guards, possessed unimaginable power, could blast any of them into an endless void of shadow any minute now. Now to be fair, Lord Solaris attempted to argue that he would gladly handle his little Moon if he became to much. But his assistant Revan assisted that they would be just fine while he is away at the DragonLands attending this meeting. Boy was Revan far away from right. The staff had imagined that the young prince would be no problem, a quiet little angel who wouldn't even dare to cause trouble. Would most likely just be in room, as the young prince never talked to anyone other then his older brother and teacher. Boy were they all far from right. "Solly! Where are you?!" Artemis yelled in worry, before he could fly right through another door, a Saroniye guard managed to catch up with the young prince, wrapping an arm around his little body and pulling him close. Sir Sirate sighed in relief. He looked down at the prince who looked like he were about to cry. "You highness, we have told you that Lord Solaris would be away for the weekend at an important meeting. He has called Starswind to come assist us on taking of you for the time being." Sir Sirate stated as he tucked his bat wings in. Revan, and one of the butlers Quial walked up to them, breathing heavily. Definitely out of breathe. "T..Thank you Sir Sirate," Revan said in between heavy breathes, Quial fell down on the floor face front causing the other two adults to look down at him in worry. Quial didn't even make a sound. "That's the last time ANY of us underestimate a young Hybrids speed." Quial said loud enough for them to understand them. The only think Revan and Sirate did, was nod in a strong agreement. "I miss brother.." Artemis said, tears now running down his cheeks. The Little Moon always did admire and adore his Big Sun so dearly. The two had never been apart ever since crashing on Equss many moons ago. All of the staff were aware of the tight bond the two held, but their lord also had a whole planet o look after. Taking care of a planet, and your little brother is a very difficult task. Lord Solaris always assured the stuff that he could handle it, which he did. However, everyone sees those black eye bags underneath the lords eyes. Everyone knew he were tired. Which is why when he assisted on taking Artemis with him to the meeting. Revan argued that the castle staff and Starswind will do fine with taking on the challenge of babysiting a Moon God. After all, the Sun that served their galaxy deserved a slight piece of mind. Much due to everyone's sanity. "Wait, you left them to watch your little brother? As in The Moon God?" The Dragon Lord said with one of her thick eyebrows raised as she stared at Lord Solaris. "Aye." "The same little bastard who could have crashed the Moon into Equss twice when he was 2?" The fire queen Eruptia said, who got a glare from the global lord. "Please, do not call aye young brother such names using that profanity. However, aye. In Artemis defense he were really young and didn't have quite as well control over his magic." "He literally moved the Moon, and ended up messing with the bodies of water!" King Novo of Seaqutiria exclaimed. "Hmm, yes I remember that very unfortunate natural disaster accident. However keep in mind that aye brother is still a very young being. He will gain more wisdom and control with his power over the times to come." "Ok Lord hotstuff, you believe that. While the rest of us prepare the Moon to crash into this planet." Solaris sighed, he them softly smiled to himself as an image of his little brother entered his mind. Those big turquoise eyes looking up at him with the biggest smile Solaris has ever seen from Artemis. Solaris had to mentally chuckle as he remembered the height difference between him and basically everyone. He stood at 7'4, which he made everyone look like an ant. But Artemis was the smallest of them all. He wondered how Starswind and the staff were doing. Not very well, they were not doing very well. Honestly it was going well until Starswind decided it was time for Prince Artemis to go to bed, as Artemis sleeps during the day and awake during the night. It were always like that since day one of the two royal brothers being on Equss. Revan made sure to always have Solaris put Artemis to bed around mid--day so he could be ready for his training at midnight with Solaris. Put the Moon God to sleep, easier said then done right? However, its way more easier to put the young Moon God to sleep on paper then in real life. "Come on Prince Artemis! It is your bed time." Starswind complained to the young prince for the tenth time. They all were in his large night sky based room. To keep it dark they closed all the curtains, which surprise to them all made it pretty dark. "No, Solly always puts me to bed." Artemis said for the tenth time. He had his arms crossed as he turned his body, facing away from Starswind, Revan, a maid named Nightlight, and Quial who just narrowed his eyes as he stared at the old women in annoyance. "You know how to put gods to bed huh?" He said in a annoyed tone. "Be quite and help me before I have Solaris fire you." Starswind replied with just as much annoyance in her voice. Quial rolled his eyes, knowing it was an empty threat. "Yeah have fun hag, Lord Solaris values my presence." "How does the lord get him to sleep?" Revan asked as he turned his head to face Nightlight, who just smiled. "Let's him go to sleep on his own." Silence "...." "Excuse me? Let's him go on his own?" Starswind said. "Yes, works everytime." Nightlight said. "That's ridiculous Nightlight, surely there has to be another way..." Quial said, suddenly they all heard light snoring. Everyone turned to see Artemis fast asleep, tucked in his dark purple sheets, hugging his plushie of the Sun with his Moon plushie just right behind him. "Artemis will automatically fall asleep during the day, as his body is more active in the night." "And your just telling us this why?" "I enjoyed watching you and Starswind argue." Revan sighed as he gestures for everyone to leave the room to let the sleeping prince rest. Once everyone was out, he looked back at the bed that held the moon prince, he looked so peaceful. Revan smiled as he closed the door as quiet as he could. "Good day Prince Artemis..." > Sisters from afar > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was like looking in a opposite gender mirror. They both had short light blue hair, practically the same size. Dark smooth brown skin, big round turquoise eyes. The Mark of the Moon that rested upon the middle of their foreheads. Though she wore a simple dark blue dress, with black elbow sleeve gloves, as well as black slippers. While he wore a dark blue long jacket with black off of the shoulder sleeves. over a white shirt. Dark navy blue pants, with black shoes. Both wearing small black crowns that seemed to sparkle a little. They were both being held by their respective much older sibling on their sides, their older siblings arms being on their button to be used like a seat in someway. Luna and Artemis stared at each other in amazement. But something else that the two noticed was. Celestia and Solaris looked nothing alike. Solaris stood at 7'4 while Celestia stood at 6'3. He has very faded crystal teal eyes, while she has very faded crystal purple eyes. Solaris's hair were a deep redish-brown color with yellow and orange hair stripes, while Celestia's hair were the colors of a pastel rainbow. Both of their hair however, were very long and flowed in a patterned non-existent breeze, with small white stars sparkling in their smooth hair. Both wore golden earrings, The Mark of The Sun rested in the middle of their foreheads. Which was the best way to identify the two as being alternatives of each other. Celestia wore yellow eyeshadow, while Solaris wore just the slightest of orange eyeshadow. Celestia wore an elegant long one shoulder beautiful white dress. A gold chocker around her thin neck, around her waist were a smooth gold belt with a Sun clip on the side of it. Solaris however, wore a white long clean jacket that decayed all the way to his to just above his knees, only having on sleeve which were on his right that were long. Wearing no undershirt, revealing his 8-pack muscled body. He wore grey smooth pants , as well a gold chocker around his neck. They both wore thick gold brackets on their shoulders as well on their wrists, on their feet they both also wore gold sandles. It could only be assumed that both of them had large majestic white wings. They have some similar things about their appearance , but they still looked nothing alike. The two older Suns smiled at each other with softness, though they were in an awkward situation at the moment. They still somehow beamed with positivity. "Tis is quite the situation to be in now is it? Celestia asked, raising one of her eyebrows. Luna wrapped her small arms around her sisters neck, lowing her head on Celestia's shoulder. "Aye, quite the situation indeed. To be quite honest we always imagined what ourself an'd Artemis would look as females." Solaris replied with a small chuckle. Celestia had to give a chuckle of her own. "Did we meet te imagination?" "In all honesty, nay for te imagined te to look a little more like ourself. However, te and young Luna are beautiful." "Thank te, yourself and young Artemis are quite handsome." "Thank te." Solaris said a slight quick bow of his head. He noticed how the two Little Moons kept on staring at one another, which give him an idea. "My dear brother and young Luna, would the two of the enjoy playing together in Artemis room while aye and Celestia discuss for a little?" This made the Little Moons immediately put their heads up and they beamed, and both nodded. "Yes please!!" "My room is so big Luna! And it has stars, you'll love it! Solaris even made it so I can move the design around with my magic! " Luna and Artemis levitated themselves out of their respective Suns arms. Flying off into the direction of the young prince's room. Their giggles could be heard until they were out of ear reach. "May I ask how did te and young Luna come here?" Solaris asked, gaining his counterparts full attention. "In all honesty, it was quite the experience. I believe in this universe the Mirrors of Alternatives exist?" Solaris nodded. " Aye was not aware that aye being could activate the mirrors by simply just touching and fraction of it, or being near the object. During an expectation of the mirrors, with thee Starswirl whom aye assume tis is Starswind in this reality. For some due odd reason, Starswirl decided to kick the mirror to this reality. Aye suppose the mirror had a sense of humor and directed it's anger at me and my dear sister." Solaris shook his head, then chuckled. He believed it. The mirrors had a tendency to for some reason activate themselves whenever they please. "An outsider might not believe that story, however aye certainly do. May I assume that what happened next was that tis mirror decided to borrow some of your power?" Solaris said with a raised eyebrow. Celestia nodded, then sighed. "You are correct, if aye twas nay a Celestial being. Aye would most definitely ask for a refund of aye powers back." Solaris laughed at that statement. "Most definitely, though tis is quite unfortunate for you and young Luna. Aye believe tis would be best if the two of tee stay with me and Artemis until aye managed to reach Starswind to assist with the mirrors in this universes, whom is very difficult to contact." Celestia bowed her head in respect. She may have been the global leader in her universe, but this was not her universe. Solaris ruled this planet here. However there was one thing Celestia were worried about. Solaris seemed to think the same. "Howth will your universe handle itself with nay of their Sun and Moon?" Solaris asked, raising in eyebrow. "I am hopeful okay, however aye and Luna's powers will nay be in control while we are here, I imagine tes and young Artemis's powers as well." She replied, Solaris stared at her for a minute being his eyes widened in realization. "Perhaps, but we'll see if that is confirmed as this is a one time situation.. Te mindt if aye and Artemis address te and young Luna as sister?" "Nay at all."
