Helping Dear Spike
Today was a special day in Equestria. It was the day of Cadence's and Shining Armor's wedding. But I know we wanna get to the point so I'll make this quick. It started when Twilight got a little suspicious about Cadence's behavior when she was acting a little rude to her and her friends. So she decided to confront her head out about it. However none of them believed that it's Chrysalis in disguise. Because of it Shining got super mad and kicked her out of the wedding. Spike felt sad tor her but choose to go with the others. Reason why he follow the others is because he afraid that he'll kicked out of the wedding. Anyways now that were caught up let's begin.
Everyone was heading to their dressing rooms to get ready for the occasion. Rarity, one of the bridesmaids, took Spike to get him dressed into his black tuxedo and top hat, since he is the ring bearer. Once they arrived Spike touch the fabric that composed the garment, but felt sad about Twilight get kicked out.
"Now Spikey dear. Wait right here and I'll be right out okay?" Rarity asked.
"Okay Rarity." Spike said upset.
Rarity noticed that Spike was sad. She wanted to know why he's sad but decided to do that after she changed. She went in the dressing room and began getting in her dress. As Spike sat down on a stool while waiting for Rarity since she is getting dressed in her bridesmaid gown, he touches the fabric of his tuxedo. He's still sad about Twilight gets kicked out of the wedding as he began to cry, but he was unaware that Chrysalis send Twilight to the cave of Canterlot. When Rarity comes back now wearing her bridesmaid gown, she can see Spike is still crying about Twilight Sparkle get kicked out.
Not wanting to leave him in the dark about it she decided to do is give him a nice hug to comfort him as he put his arms around her.
"Spikey? Are you feeling okay? I thought you be happy." Rarity thought.
"No. I'm not Rarity. I'm not okay." Spike cried.
"Spikey? Can you tell me what's wrong?" Rarity asked.
"If you must know Rarity I'm upset about Twilight. I mean she getting kicked out of her brother's wedding feels like a stab in the heart to her. And saying that she's not his best mare anymore really hurt her feelings. I wanted to help her out but I didn't. Reason why is because i didn't want to feel left out. And coming from me you and the girls left me out of lots of events. The Gala, The Star Gaze Festival, and a bunch more. It's really an honor to be invited to the wedding. But it's not special if Twilight's not here." Spike confessed.
Rarity took it all in processing everything Spike said. She then realized that everything he said was true. He has been left out of many events and they didn't bother trying to tag him along. She felt really guilty for all those times Spike wasn't there. And thought he's invited to the wedding it isn't special without Twilight. She began to cry and faced Spike.
"Spikey? Is that why you're upset?" Rarity asked.
"Yes Rarity. And I probably told you this too. Since we met I carried a crush on you and really wanted you as my girl." Spike confessed sadly.
"Spikey I know you carried a crush on me. But Spikey why didn't you tell me?" Rarity worried.
"I tried too. But every chance I got has been ruined. And when we were alone just the two of us I was nervous. And sometimes when we hang out you got love struck over different stallions. So I fully understand the message. You rather have me as your friend than lover." Spike cried.
"No please wait Spikey! I'm not in love with them anymore! There wasn't a spark between us!" Rarity reasoned.
However Spike could only lowered his head sad because he knew that Rarity will do anything to cheer him up. But probably will end the same for love.
"Rarity. I appreciate your company and everything. Really. But if Twilight can't be here for the wedding then I don't wanna be the ring bearer." Spike said as Rarity gasped.
"With that said. I'm leaving. But lemme say this. Thank you for being a friend." Spike concluded.
Spike turned out and when he was about to head to the door Rarity placed a hoof on his shoulder.
"Wait Spikey. Please don't leave. In fact there's something I want you to know too." Rarity said.
"What is it Rarity?" Spike asked.
Rarity took a deep breath and confessed. "Spike. You were right about everything. Every time there was a special occasion we didn't bother asking you to join us. You felt hurt and alone. We should have been there for you all those times but we didn't. I'm so very sorry that we made you feel like this."
"It's fine Rarity. They probably weren't exciting anyways." Spike said.
"No Spikey. It isn't. Plus I actually have been holding that crush you had on me. I wanted to tell you myself but with my fashion job I couldn't. I'm also sorry for not telling you this sooner but now I will say this. Spike I love you with all my heart and I really want us to be together. You were there for me but I didn't show you the same feelings. But I promise that from now on I will show you all the respect and love for you." Rarity confessed.
"You really mean it?" Spike cried.
"Yes Spikey. Cross my heart hoped to die stick a cupcake in my eye." Rarity promised.
Spike couldn't believe that Rarity actually loved him back. He now cried happy tears and ran to her as she caught him in a hug and shared a passionate kiss. Rarity's lips were so soft and warm to Spike that he finally felt complete. But he still wished that Twilight was here.
"What's wrong sweetie? I thought you be happy now that were together?" Rarity wondered.
"I am babe. But I still wished that Twilight was here for the wedding. She is our friend after all." Spike answered.
"Yes. How bout this? Next time we will make sure she is invited. And for you? I promise that you will get tagged along to join us in another event." Rarity promised.
"Thanks babe." Spike smiled as they shared another kiss.
After they separated they headed out of the room and went to the wedding hall. Spike was no longer alone and he finally won Rarity's heart. Then we know that Chrysalis came in and tried to ruin the event but in the end Twilight and her friends defeated she and Cadence and Shining got married and lived happily ever after.
