Equestria has been split by civil war. The two princesses have divided over who should have the right to rule. Over time Celestria and her Celestrial army have been forced out of Canterlot and Luna now has control. With her force of Shadowbolts she holds the capital with an iron hoof. Celestria has set up bases. At two of Caterlot's out lying towns waiting for the time to strike. There I also the newly built Celestial city, which has become a strongold for the Celestian forces..


Chapter 1

But our story begins far away on the edge of the zebra republic . The zebras were all going about their daily business of trading and buying in the many markets. Fillies and foals were playing in the streets with their fiends and the bright sun was high in the sky. Slowly the clouds above began to darken and grow. Soon the dark clouds had engulfed the sun and the Town was swept in darkness. The mayor of the town was having his lunch of herbal tea and biscuits when suddenly there was a heavy rummbling through the ground which knocked his cup to the floor with a smash. He looked out the window just in time to see a talon come out of the clouds and start to rip into the ground below. A building crumbled under the Talon and the Zebra's were swept up in its wrath.  

The Mayor shouted to his assistant. 
"Morbus look it's Discord.!" The cloud made a circular opening and started to draw everything below it inside. Everything was being lifted. zebra's, buildings and plants, just dissapeared into the gigantic hole. The mayor and his assistants had no choice. "The ships, get to the ships! Their our only chance."
SkyShip technology had moved far ahead at this time and they made transport between the nations much easier. They had been designed by a team of Pegasi Engineers and Celestia had given the technology to all the races as a sign of peace. Now they were the Zebra's only hope of escape. Already they were piling into the first and many more heading for the second. The ramps were raised with Zebra's still trying to board. The assistant ran to the cockpit and gave the order to launch. With a few quick motions of the controls the  thrusters started up, propelling them into the sky. The first managed to escape the pull, but the second was not so lucky.  The Mayor cried out in terror for his assistant.
"Theoden. Arrrggghh." The ship lost all control and tumbled backwards towards the cloud. As it dissapeared inside, their was a crunching and smashing noise.
In less than five minutes the entire settlement was completely wiped from the surface. Not a tree, bush or building was left and the cloud had grown larger and was already moving away. 

Outside Canterlot, in Celestrial Base 1
On the two secret bases outside Canterlot the Celestraians prepare to re-take their city. But the enemy spies are watching them even now. 
Princess Celestia stood in her Command centre, watching over her ponies hard at work preparing. 
"Shinning armour, report our status.”
A white stallion in Purple Armour spun around in his chair to look at Celestia. 
"Every time i look into a monitor princess, my blood boils. When are we going to start beating Lunarians in submission!" 
Celestia looked sternly at her Captain of the guard.
" I want you to make a special run to Celestial city in the north!"
Shinning Armour was shocked at this. 
" But princess?"
She quickly interrupted!  
"listen, we don't have enough energy cells to power a full scale assault. Ready the Skyship for launch!" 
He nodded his head in agreement and galloped off to the Skyship waiting outside." Celestia looked over to big Macintosh. "Macintosh Report enemy status." 
He slowly looked up from is console.
" No Lunarians around here princess." 
Celstia nodded.
"what about base two.
"Big Mac to base two. repeat Big Mac to base two." 
On his monitor a Orange mare with straw colour mane and a sandy coloured stallion with light hair appeared. " AppleJack and Braburn here." the two smiled.
"we are about to launch the Airship. Any Lunarian shenanigans in your area?" 
" All clear Big Mac." Applejack stepped forward "Hey Shinning Armour. Tell my sister Applebloom I miss her. And not ta worry. I'll be back a soon as we kick Luna's tail out of Canterlot." Shinning Armour was now in the Cockpit of the Skyship along with Lucky, Caramel And a royal Guard. 
"Will do Applejack" He smiled. 
Celestia gave the order to begin the count down.

COUNTDOWN COMMENCING IN 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. BLAST OFF! 

With that Shinning armour hit the booster button and the airship launched into the Evening sky. Princess Celestia looked on hopefully and the Ship move out of sight. "Now all we need is a little energy and a lot of luck." High above a Small Shadowbolt flew away back to Canterlot. She grinned a evil grin, knowing her mission was a success.
In the Castle, Princess Luna was looking at a map,  showing the location of the two enemy bases. "Our scout has returned Princess." The Shadowbolt hovered in front of her. 
"What is your report!" She Commanded. The small mare told her all that she had seen in Celestria's base. 
"luck eh. More than you can imagine dear Sister." A smirk crossed her face in Pleasure.

Shinning Armour's ship was now cruising north to celestial city. Everypony was at their stations and were settling into the cruise. whensuddenly they felt a deep thud behind them and then with a tearing of metal and wire, the side of the ship was blown open. Princess Luna pushed trough the tangle of wreckage with Shadowbolts behind her. The Royal Guard turned around and called out. 
"Princess? LANARIANS!"
“Die Celestian! She lowered her horn and blasted the guard strait through his chest sending him crashing to the ground in a cloud of smoke and burning fur. At the sound of the shot, Caramel turned around and fired his hoof Blaster at the group in the breach. A stallion fell from the ship stone dead but was replaced by another who fired back at Caramel hitting him squarely in the throat. He Exhaled, pouring smoke from his nose and mouth as he fell to the side. Shinning Armour and Lucky both turned, laying down a wide field of fire which made the Shadowbolts duck for cover to avoid the deadly blasts.

But Luna didn't move an inch. She just fired shot after shot which sent the two ponies falling down with burning holes in the chest and legs. Luna walked forward and surveyed the destruction with a smile. 
"this was almost too easy Blackstar." She smirked to her second in command. 
"Much easier, oh Mighty Luna than dealing with the real threat. The Celestrians Secret bases." Luna looked at him with an un- impressed look.
"your a foal Blackstar! When we slip by their early warning sensors and destroy Celestial city. My Sisters forces will be vanquished forever." she suddenly felt somepony weakly grab her right leg. 
"nooo" came a croaky voice. She looked down at a half dead Shinning Armour. Luna looked down with a look of neither pity of joy. She simply charge her horn to maximum power. 
"such heroic nonsense." Their was a loud bang and pieces of purple armour were spread all over the Cockpit. 
And the ship headed to the city.

Chapter 2



Down next to the lake Derpy and Applebloom were sat with a big picnic which mostly had muffins along with some apple tarts, apple fritters, apple pie and apple cobbler. Derpy looked over at the Young filly and smiled. 
"lovely day today, isn't Applebloom." the young filly looked away. 
"I reckon so." she sighed. Derpy put a wing around her.
"Hey, what's the matter. You can tell me." Appleboom looked back out across the lake " I just miss my big Sis and brother." 
"Don't worry you'll see them soon. They just have a lot of responsibilities right now." Their conversation was cut short by a beeping coming from Appleboom's saddlebag she stood up and opened the bag. She pulled out a pad which was showing a Skyship was coming in.

"Hey Derpy, a ships coming in. Lets watch it land.” With that pulled on he saddlebag she ran off towards the hills. Derpy rolled her eyes.
"talk about dull Applebloom." she spread her wings and gave chase. it wasn't long till she caught up and lifted the filly onto her back. 
"If you going to travel Applebloom, do it in style." she went faster keeping low to the ground the wind rushed through the little fillies hair as she held on. They reached the top of the hill from where the could just make out the shape of the Skyship in the distance.
"let's stop here Derpy." Applebloom Grinned.
“Why settle for a peak when you can see everything from lookout mountain.” she again took off and headed for the road up the hill. 

Rainbow dash was busy with Thunderwing and Blossom-forth putting barriers on the road, to stop ponies going up the mountain. She was being picky on the positioning and was starting to irritate the two Pegasi.
"A little to the left. A little bit more.” The Two pegasi sighed at Rainbow dashes orders. But the sound of beating wings made all three look up. A grey and yellow shape was getting closer and it was not slowing down. Their was a smash as Derpy went strait through the barrier. A moment later came a voice echoed back.
"Ops...My bad." Rainbow Dash was furious. 
“That feather brained Pegasi. I'll straiten her out yet.” Derpy and Applebloom stopped at the view point near the summit, with the Skyship much closer. Applebloom ran over to the telescope for a closer look. She looked at the ship and noticed the mid section was damage and she called out. 
"Derpy! Theirs a hole in the Ship!" Derpy ran over and pushed Applebloom out the way to look through the telescope. She saw purple and black shapes at the hole and she instantly recognised them. "Lunarians!" She lifted her hoof blasters and started firing at the ship. Laser blasts peppered the ship and two Shadowbolts were sent falling to their deaths. The rest of them started to return fire at the source of the shots,  but their aim was poor. Rainbow dash saw the Fire fight and also saw that it was Derpy who was firing at the ship.
"what in Equestria is that darn foal doing!"
A laser blast ripped through side causing an explosion on the Skyship. It started to list and Luna followed by the Shadowbolts poured out the ship. 
"ATTACK!" she Cried. She levelled her horn and gave two blasts at the lookout point. The First shot hit below the point sending a shower of rock in every direction. Derpy grabbed Appleboom just in time for the next shot hit the back, sending the point crashing down the mountain. Derpy spread her wings to soften the fall and she landed near the bottom with Applebloom clutching to her back. 

A Large Pegasi stallion Shadowbolt landed in front of her holding a beam rifle. Derpy shut her eyes for the blast but all she herd was a loud thump and the sound of the blast. At the last second Rainbow Dash had head butted the Shadowbolt in the chest and caused him to throw his aim. The blast went over Derpy's head and hit a low flying Shadowbolt mare. Rainbow dash landed in front of the two with a stern look and all Derpy could do was grinn. 
"Not bad for a old timer."she chuckled. Rainbow dash went red. 
“OLD TIMER! That's something you'll never be if you don't get back to the city!" Derpy pushed Rainbow dash out of the way of a green blaster bolt,  just in time.
"Save it Rainbow Dash. let's get out of here." With that the three of them headed to the City as fast as they could.

Rarity was looking at the advancing Lunarians through the telescope and turned to talk to Twilight who came galloping up with Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Sweetiebelle and Scootaloo, behind her.
"Twilight, a precursory evaluation of Luna's offensive capability show we have a distinct tactical difficency." Even Twilight looked confused.
"In other words Rarity." Twilight was suddenly interupted by Pinkie Pie.
"we're outnumbered," she pulled her party cannon from nowhere in particular and fired at a low flying Shadowbolt. She missed and the pegasi fired back at them. Twilight and the others jumped out the way as the ground erupted beneath them. Twilight dusted herself of and started to give battle orders.

"Pinkie, you and Fluttershy! transform the city!" 

Pinkie looked confused. "Twilight. This sounds like transformers to me" 

"What in Equestria are Transformers Pinkie?" Twilight was even more confused.

"Never mind. Come on Fluttershy" she bounced off dodging laser blasts as she went.

"Rarity. Tell Octavia and Vinyl to contact Celestia for re-enforcements" Rarity saluted and ran for the comms tower. 

Suddenly Twilight felt something pull on her tale. She turned around an looked into the big eyes of Sweetiebelle and Scootaloo. 
"What can we do Miss Twilight?" Twilight was quick to react.
"Help me alert the other ponies. Then go to the command centre."The two fillies faces lit up. 
"Yay cutiemark crusaders messenger ponies" 

Pinkie and Fluttershy were almost at the transformation centre. 
"Hurry Fluttershy". But Fluttershy was looking through her binoculars. 
"But Rainbow Dash and Derpy are still outside the city!" Pinkie grinned at her.
"Don't worry they'll be fine. Their both in the last chapter" Fluttershy looked confused. 
"what?" 
" Nothing. Come on!" they entered the centre and started to activate the celestial city defences. All over towers opened up revealing turrets of every shape and size. As the Two ponies ran for the city centre the Shadowbolt Blackstar saw them and started to fire his blasters at them!
"Pathetic Foals! Theirs no Escape!" They went through the door and closed it fast. Blackstar stopped before hitting the door and looked in horror as the roof was closing above him. He flapped hard but he was too slow. His hoof was caught in the door and he was stuck. Now the sides were coming in and were going to crush him. In desperation he lowered his blasters and fired. BANG BANG. "Oww My Hoof he flew off with a smouldering Hoof making a trail of smoke. 

All over, Celestians were manning their positions at the turrets and started to return fire. Sending Lunarians scattering. Celestrial city was designed to withstand an attack and the citadel could take a lot of punishment. Several ponies ran through the gate house and closed the doors, just as Luna fired several shots at them. But their was no damage. She shouted loudly! "breach their Defences!" Two mare Shadowbolts with cutting gear flew down and started to cut through the door with glowing torches.
"tough stuff. Eh Shrapnel."
"A little heavy on the carbon-Carbon." The drawbridge was pulling back with a Shadowbolt holding on for dear life. 

Derpy and Rainbow dash saw the hole in the gate and also saw the Shadowbolts. Rainbow shouted over to Derpy.
"Those two are in our way," Derpy grinned at her.
"wrong their our way in. Woohoo!" She smashed into one of them sending her falling into the ravine below. The other looked up into the eyes of Rainbow Dash, who planted a hoof into her face. With a squelch it she fell stone dead. They closed the door behind them and ran for the Citadel.

Up in on of the highest towers, Vinyl scratch and Octavia were busy at work. As Vinyl was aiming her twin lasers, Octavia was calling out targets and adjusting the aim. Two Shadowbolts got close and one was blown to pieces. Vinyl punched air with her hoof. 
"look out and shout. Oww". She heard the hatch behind open and quickly turned her chair to see rarity poke her head through the hatch.
"Hey Rarity, what's shaking other than this fortress." With that the ground shook from a blast lower down. 
"Vinyl, Twilight wants to contact The princess at base one." Vinyl grinned and pulled on her shades.
"Here we go Tavia. We are going on air." Octavia rolled her eyes and activated the long range transmitter dish.

"PRINCESS CELESTIA, DO YOU READ ME. LUNAS FORCES ARE BLITZING CELESTIAL CITY WE ARE REALLY TAKING A POUNDING. DON'T KNOW HOW LONG WE CAN HOLD OUT."

Luna saw the dish glowing on the tower and acted quickly.
"Riff-tide! Jam those transmissions. NOW" The brown Shadowbolt saluted and took of with a handful of troops. They landed on the roof and started to buck the transmitter dish till it fell to city below. 
Octavia quickly turned to Vinyl.
"We've just lost the dish!" Their was a loud noise above them! They looked up into the eyes of Shadowbolts attacking the glass dome. On of them smirked. 
"First we crack the shell. Then we crack the nuts inside!" With those last words the roof shattered and they fell onto the three ponies. Rarity kicked the first but the second got her by the neck and was trying to pin her to the ground. 
"Run you two! Save your selves."
Vinyl had just pulled a large black box from the corner as two Shadowbolts landed in front of her. She smiled at the pair. 
"I warn you. I'll use it!" The Shadowbolts were clearly unimpressed as they laughed out loud
"And just what dose that do!" Vinyl's grin grew bigger and Octavia knew what was next and ran out of the way with Rarity close behind.
"Oh it's nothing special. It's just my bass Cannon!" she hit a red button on the top and the front panels drew back to reveal a Glowing blue speaker which suddenly sent out a wall of bright blue sound. The Shadowbolts screamed in terror as they were instantly vaporised and the sound wave penetrated the wall behind as well. The three of them looked out over the city. "Do you think you got through to Celestia?" Rarity asked Octavia. 
"let's hope so. Or else were doomed. 

Everywhere the battle raged with the citadel holding strong with it's heavy defences. The Cutie mark crusaders now rejoined were running every where passing new power cells for the ponies blasters but it seemed to be a loosing fight. Up in the cannon turret, Pinkie was trying to push a huge Party cannon into position. Fluttershy was pulling the body of Lyra who unknown to her, had passed away minutes ago into the room.
"Come on  Fluttershy. Help me get the cannon in place. Luna's about to make a big push and we have to push back!" Fluttershy looked down at the bodies of Lyra and BonBon who were both covered in blaster wounds. with tears in her eyes she turned and ran to help move the cannon. The two ponies pushed as hard as they could but it would not move. Behind them Rainbow dash and Derpy came running in.
"Never fear Rainbow Dash is here." They both dug their hoofs in and at last the cannon started to move. The Cutie Mark crusaders came in as well and gave a helping hoof. Soon it was in place and Pinkie was grabbing a large cake to go down the barrel. Sweetie bell went to the window and looked outside at Luna's forces who were now at the base of the wall, out of reach of the turret above. Luna looked to five of her shadow bolts and they all gathered into a large circle. Luna's horn began to glow and a dark blue and a aura surrounded the Shadowbolts. Sweetie called out to Rainbow Dash behind her
"Rainbow Dash, look!" She came over and dread filled her face, as she had seen this before.
“Devastator!” The Aura disappeared to reveal a 30 foot tall creature with the shape of a pony, but more uneven. From its mouth came a voice which seemed to be multiple ponies speaking at once. 
"Prepare for you extermination!" It walked to the turret and with one swift movement it demolished the weapon, in a green explosion. It then started to smash through the wall. Pulling sheets of armour plate and tossing them aside like tin foil. Pinkie was now ready to fire, 
"Eat cake you meanies!" She pulled the trigger and the gun recoiled hard! The cake flew through the air with a whistle and as Devastator turned to see the source of the noise, the cake hit him square in the left eye. It groaned in pain but continued its rampage. The gun fired again, sending Shadowbolts scattering tying to avoid the Frosting assault. Finally in frustration, Devastator picked up a large piece of armour and threw it at the cannon position. It crashed into the tiny slit and caused a cascade of rubble to fall and crush the gun. The ponies got out just in time, but it was clear they were not going to last without help. Down in the city the fighting was fierce. It had turned urban combat with each side fighting, building to building. The Citadel was failing to hold the Lunarians back as one by one the towers were destroyed. Luna brought a fast night which made it harder for the defenders to see the onslaught of Shadowbolts. The city was illuminated by all of the laser and magic shots which were being exchanged. But the time morning came the city was a smouldering ruin with the citadel being all that was left. Luna called out loudly. 
"Their defences are broken let the slaughter begin." Devastator ripped open the citadel gates and they charged through. Luna led the charge, with the horn levelled and charged. But suddenly their was the sound of engines above her and as she looked up she saw Celestia's personnel  transport come through the clouds and begin to circle the city. 

In the Cockpit, Princess Celestia was standing behind The pilots Fancy-pants and Fluer de Lis. She turned around to speak to the Ponies in the back. 
"Wonderbolts! Destroy that monster!" Spitfire and her team all smiled at the words. 
"We always love a challenge your majesty!" They dropped out of the ship and quickly the five ponies got into formation. Spitfire at the lead gave the orders. 
"Everypony! Attack pattern 3! On my mark......GO!" They spit up and prepared their grappling hooks which they carried in the Combat gear. Spitfire was on her own and flew strait for the monster. It saw her and tried to swipe her out the air, with a gigantic hoof. But it was much too slow and missed, smashing it's flailing appendage into a wall with a mighty smash. Soarin and Fleatfoot now came in low to throw their cables at Devastator's front leg. Soarin missed but Fleatfoot was on the mark. She began to circle round and round the legs till they were bound tight. Devastator couldn't keep it's balance and fell into the building behind with a crash. It sat there pulling it's legs free, when RapidFire and Powerglide came in to unleash a torrent of laser fire which devastated the creature and also cause the building to collapse on to top of it. 

Celestia's ship had finally landed at the dock and re-enforcements were sweeping into the city. She looked out over the ruins and saw that Luna had reformed and was charging again for the Citadel and Victory. Celestia spoke to her self in a soft tone. 
"Luna must be stopped! No matter the Cost!" She spread her wings and took off towards the citadel. She flew fast and soon she came upon the rear of the charge. A Shadowbolt turned around just in time to be smashed aside but the Princess. Two others started to fire at her but the Alicorns magic just sent them ricocheting away harmlessly. She charged her horn and fired at the Shadowbolts in sequence. Each fell to the ground stunned or dead. She Landed at the front of the Charge, where with a quick firing of magic she sent them scattering.

Inside the citadel on the upper level Luna stood. She turned around at the sound of hooves, to look strait onto the eyes of her sister.
"Sister!" Luna Exclaimed. 
"Stop this Luna! You've caused enough destruction for one day! If you don't surrender then one shall stand and one shall fall." Luna sneered at these words. 
"Why throw away you life so recklessly, my dear sister." Luna's voice was even sterner this time.
"That's a question you should ask yourself Luna!" Celestia snapped. 
"No I'll rip you apart with my bear hooves!" She launched herself at Celestia and the two of the them crashed to the floor with Luna on top. She tried to smash her hoof into her sisters face. But Celestia used her rear legs to Lift Luna in the air and land her against a wall. In fury she quickly aimed he horn and fired. Celestia was barely able to dodge and a deep red burn to her left side showed this. With one quick movement a hoof planted itself in the side of Luna's head. She fell back daze by the blow and found that she couldn't focus her horn. Celestia came in close with another blow but was winded by Luna's rear legs ramming into her stomach and sending her flying back across the floor. 

Down below the ponies were watching the clash of these two titans who seemed to be evenly matched. Derpy suddenly ran for the stair with a resolute look on her face. "I have to help Celestia!" 

Rainbow Dash tried to stop her.
"Stay away Derpy! That's Celestia's fight!" 

Back above Luna had got hold of a long metal shard and with great speed she threw it at her sister, where it found it's mark. Celestia cried out in pain as she looked down at the wound, which was staining her white coat red. Luna lunged at her to Finish the fight, but Celestia gave her a powerful right hoof under her jaw and sent Luna crashing backwards.
Celestia stood up and charged her horn. From down below their was a call out. 
"Finnish her of Princess. Do it now!" Luna was pushing herself back in fear of her sister and that glowing horn. Suddenly she notice a blaster which was hidden by a piece of debris. The tiniest of smiles crept on her face and she thought fast. She raised a hoof to her sister.
"No more Princess Celestia! Grant me mercy, I beg of you." Celestia did not seem convinced. 
"You who are without mercy. now plead for it! I thought you were made of stronger stuff." Luna grabbed the pistol, but was suddenly set upon by a Grey Mare with blonde hair. 
"NO YOU DON'T LUNA!" She roared. She had her hoofs around Luna's neck trying to choke her. Celestia shouted loudly
"OUT OF THE WAY DERPY!" In one quick motion Luna pulled Derpy in front of her to use as a  pony shield. She aimed the blaster at Celestia and fired
"FALL! FALL!" She cried, firing the blaster rapidly at the wound she had made earlier. The shots sent Celestia rearing up in pain just to collapse backwards with such force her Crown and Necklace both cracked. Luna threw Derpy to the side and walked over to her sister. Her left eye was swollen and she was bleeding from the top of her head. She looked down at her sister on the floor. “
I have waited an eternity for this! It's over sister" Celestia looked up at Luna. She drew her back legs close and in a quick move she bucked with all her might at Luna's necklace.
"NEVER!" she screamed as the hoofs smashed strait through the necklace and rammed into Luna's chest with a cracking of ribs. The force of the impact sent Luna staggering back till she slipped over the ledge. On the way down she hit several other ledges till with a thud she hit the ground. 
Celestia tried to stand but she fell to her knees. Derpy ran over to help her. Tears were streaming down her face as she helped the wounded Princess. 
"Celestia forgive me" Down below a handful of Shadowbolts had surrounded their fallen leader. Blackstar walked up with a thick smirk on his face.
"How do you feel mighty Princess." He kicked her with a hoof and turned away.
"Everypony to the Dock! Let's get out of here." Luna looked up at one of the Shadowbolts. "Don't leave me Blitzwing" She groaned. Blitzwing knelt down next to her 
"As you command my Princess." With the help of another they carried her broken body on their backs to the dock. The Remaining Celestian forces had grouped and were all firing at them. Fluttershy stood next to Rainbow Dash. "The Lunarians are retreating!" Rainbow dashes  face was amazed at what she saw. 
"Celestia did it! She turned the tide!" She fired her blaster at the running enemy. At the dock the Shadowbolts commandeered one of the smaller ships for their escape. Shots were filling the air around and also hitting the craft. Two ponies got into the pilots seats and strapped in. The last Shadowbolt came up the Ramp and Blackstar closed the hatch.
"Pilot! TAKE OFF!" With a roar of the engines, the small ship took to the sky and was soon out of sight. 

The battle was over and even though they had won the day. The death of so many ponies gave everypony the bitter taste of defeat in their mouths. 


Then they herd Derpy cry out. "MEDIC, MEDIC QUICK. THE PRINCESS IN DYING!

Chapter 3

Down in the medical bay, Fluttershy and Nurse Redheart were examining their princess who was lying down on the table, unable to move. Twilight, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Derpy and Pinkie who had the three little fillies huddled around her for comfort. Fluttershy and Redheart looked at the eight ponies with grim expressions on their faces. Nurse Redheart spoke up. 
“I fear that her wounds are fatal. She doesn't have very long."
Applebloom walked up to the table and rested her front hoofs on the edge to gain hight. 
"But Princess, ya can't die!" With a lot of effort Celestia turned her head to look at the young Filly and gave her a weak smile.
"Do not grieve. Soon I will become one with the Elements." Derpy, felt a slight tingle at the mention of the elements. 
"Princess?" Celestia turns her head to look at Twilight and speaks up so everypony could hear.
"Twilight Sparkle. It is to you, my faithful student, I shall pass the Element of Unity as it was passed to me...." Twilight looked at her beloved teacher with sadness and shock on her face. 
"But Princess! I'm just a Unicorn. I'm not worthy to lead." The Princess gasped for air and looked at her student. 
"Neither was I... But one day a pony will rise above all others and use the power of the Element of Unity to light our darkest hour." With that her horn glowed dimly and her necklace began to glow. A set of lines grew at the front and slowly it opened to reveal a small chamber with a smaller necklace inside. It was much like the other elements Of harmony, except the Symbol was a blue crystal which glowed brightly. Celestia lifted it out and sent it towards Twilight who like the others were amazed at the jewels beauty. Celestia spoke out. 
"until... That..... Day. Till all are one." It was finally too much for her. Her horn instantly stopped glowing and the Necklace started to fall to the floor. Everypony moved at once to grab the Element but Derpy got there first she held it in her hooves and the crystal glowed brightly. She used her wings to keep her steady as she passed it to Twilight who with the help or Rarity fixed it around her neck. Their was a loud coughing and groaning noise and everypony looked back to their princess. Her beautiful eyes were staring into space and in a whisper she spoke her last words. 
"L..Luna. Please forgive me....." The princess was still. Her coat and multi coloured mane began to turn a dull grey colour, till she was completely grey. Her hoof slid off the table, completely motionless. It was too much for the ponies. Clutching the Cutie mark crusaders, Pinkie was crying her eyes out. Nurse Redheart marked down the time of death. Rarity was comforting a crying Fluttershy, Twilight looked on at her Teacher and Rainbow dash had her hoof on Derpy's shoulder as she silently cried in the corner. She was angry at herself for making such a terrible mistake.


Meanwhile far away inside the dark cloud. A Television had been spawned into existence with a image showing the Element of unity being revealed and given to Twilight Sparkle. There was a deep rumbling, then the cloud gave out a terrifying roar of anger. 

A long way from Celestrial city the Stolen Skyship was beginning to lose hight. It had taken a lot of damage during the Lunarians Escape and the were getting close to falling thought the cloud cover. The pilot turned on the PA system to talk to the Shadowbolts in the rear. 
"We need to jettison some weight or we'll never making back to Canterlot!" Blackstar was the first one to stand at the sound of this news. He spoke up at the top of his voice to gain attention. 
"My fellow Lunarians. The pilot has asked that we lighted our burden." A light blue Shadowbolt stood up and spoke as well. 
"Then I suggest that it is survival of the fittest" The Shadowbolts all started to murmur amongst themselves. Their was over thirty of them on board a ship that was built for half that number and the fact that nearly a dozen others were badly injured. Some would never fly again and others were as good as dead. Blackstar interrupted the conversation. 
"All in favour" A loud chorus of "Aye" filled the room. 
"And against?" a weak a feeble "Nay" came back.
Blackstar Grinned at the out come and spoke loudly. 
"The Aye's have it" It was like sompony had flicked a switch, as chaos ensued with healthy Shadowbolts grabbing the injured. Blackstar opened the side hatch and looked out to the ever closer cloud cover. Then the Shadowbolts started to throw their comrades out into the night air. Their were pleas from the the injured as they fell. 
"Please! Spare us!" 
Blackstar dragged Princess Luna to the edge of the door and looked down at her. She was badly wounded but she could have made a recovery. But this was not going to stop Blackstar and none of the others were going to stop him. 
"Oh how it pains me to do this" His voice was sarcastic as he uttered every word. Luna looked up at him with anger in her eye.
"Wait! I'm your Princess!" Blackstar just smirked and gave her a kick out of the door. 
"Not for much longer!" Luna fell down to the clouds below. In rage she shouted!
"blaacckkstaaarrr" He slammed the door shut, dusted his hooves and looked at the remaining ponies. 
"Now that Princess Luna has, how should we say - departed. I nominate myself as the new leader. A group of five stallions stood up in objection to this.
"wait! We form the Devastator! The most powerful pony. We should rule!" From the opposite side Blitzwing stood up. 
"Devastator inferior. Blitzwing Superior." He was never one for long sentences. The Megabolts looked disgusted at this!
"who the Buck are you calling inferior. Nopony would follow a uncharismatic bore like you!" At this insult several mares stood next to Blitzwing showing their support. 
"Hey, nopony calls Blitzwing uncrazmatic!" another spoke up as well! 
"Yeah let's kick Flank!" The Megabolts grouped together to combine.
"Megabolts unite." but before they could start they were set upon. The rear of the ship resembled a bar room brawl. Everypony was fighting the other with no clear sign of a victor. The whole ship shock a juddered from the fighting. Up in the Cockpit the the pilot turned to his partner. 
"what in Equestria is going on back there. I told them to lighten the ship not destroy it!" 



Outside on the clouds, Luna and her dozen Shadowbolts lay unable to move. They were too weak and tired. It felt like an eternity passed for them as the floated away. Luna looked ahead and saw a huge storm cloud getting closer and closer. She closed her eyes and suddenly heard a low deep voice.
"Luna" she lifted her head but could see nopony. Just the giant storm clouds with what looked like a large circular hole in the front. The voice spoke again. 
"Welcome Luna" The Volume of the voice sent her sliding back across the cloud till she was close to the edge. She tried her wings and found them still able to lift her. She flew to the hole to pier inside. 
"who, said that?" The voice spoke again sending her tumbling backwards from the force. 
"I am Discord" Luna was surprised at this. She was sure that he was still a prisoner in stone. She wasn't convinced. 
"Show yourself!" But she still saw nothing but the cloud.
"I have summoned you here for a purpose." Anger flared in Luna's eyes at these words. 
"Nopony summons Princess Luna!" at these words a bolt of lightning swept across the sky. 
"Then I am pleased to be the First" His tone was one of amusement and pleasure. Luna growled under her breath at this impudence.
"state your business."
"This is my command. You are to bring me the the Element of Unity. It is the one thing - the only thing which can stand in my way." As he spoke these words the entire cloud shook in anger. Luna was disturbed at the power he possessed.
"You have nothing to fear. I have already killed my sister with by bare hooves. 
"You exaggerate!" He retorted. Unimpressed.
"The point is, she is dead and unity died with her." Again the clouds began to shake and glow and suddenly the hole flared with bright light.
"No! The point is you are a Foal. It has been passed to a new leader. Twilight Sparkle. Get it for me!" Luna was gaining confidence at speaking to the disembodied voice. 
"Why should I. What's in it for me!"
"your bargaining posture is hight dubious, but very well, I will provide you with a new Body, and new troops to command." 
"And....." The cloud roared with anger. The cloud darkened and the air itself felt highly charged. 
"And nothing! You belong to me now." This sent Luna over the edge. Her mane flowed and her eyes whent white. 
"I belong to NOPONY!" She returned to normal and she stared at the hole.
"Perhaps I Misjudged you." Suddenly Luna was wrapped in a bright red flame.
"Proceed - on your way to oblivion." Every part of Luna's body was in pain! It felt as if the fire was burning her from the inside out. She gained enough composure to speak.
"No.. Please. I accept you terms. I ACCEPT!" The fire disappeared and was replace by a green bubble of fluid which felt like the softest of balms on Luna's skin. 
"Excellent! I cannot restore you to Nightmare moon, I'm afraid that ability was destroyed by the elements. But I have something better planned." Slowly Luna's skin was peeling away. She felt no pain as the skin on her face disappeared leaving her with just her bones and muscles. Then a black ooze began to cover her body and quickly it covered her face. The black mass began to pulse and reshape. She was getting bigger and more powerful. The ooze instantly hardened and shattered. The Alicorn standing their was tall and Slender. He coat was a dark charcoal colour and her mane and tail was a black fire. Her eyes were a golden yellow with lizard slits and she wore a dark purple helmet, shoes and breastplate. Her moon cutiemark was in tacked but that was all that was left of Luna. 
"behold Necro-Moon." Around her the other fallen Shadowbolts were also encased in green bubbles. 
"And these shall be your minions." The same transformation began for the others. Six of them gathered and began to change. Their suits were dark blue and the manes were black. One was larger than his counterparts.
"Scourge. The tracker... And his huntresses the Sweeps." 

The next six were finishing their transformation as well. Theirs wore suits of light purple armour with silver lightning streaks. And on their Heads they wore purple helmets with a moon for a crest. The were lead by a larger mare with a silver and purple mane. 
"Cyclone. The Warrior, and her armada. And this shall be your ship. Now go.. Bring me the element of Unity." A large and heavily armed Skyship came out the cloud and hovered infront of Necro moon and her new forces. Necro-moon spoke with a voice of two tones ones was soft and elegant where the other was dark and ominous.
"I shall tear apart Twilight Sparkle and every other Celestian. Till the Element is yours" Her wings were spread and with great speed she landed on the bow of her new ship.
"To Canterlot!" She boomed. The Sweeps and Cyclone's forces went into the vessel and set course. They moved with great speed from Discord. They had a army to re-claim. Discord called out one more time. 
"Bring me that element!"

In Canterlot Castle's great hall, banners with Blackstar's cutie mark hung from every window and the room was filled with Shadowbolts watching the Coronation of Blackstar as king of the Lunarians. At the front of the hall stood Blackstar with four of the largest Shadowbolts with pistols at his flanks, just in case somepony decided to try anything funny. Blackstar's outfit was gaudy to say the least. He wore a long black cloak it red lining and on his hoofs were black boots with obsidian crystals in the front. His taste in style would had made Rarity cry out in horror. He stood there with his patience wearing thin. 
"Get on with the Ceremony." The Shadowbolt in front place the Crown on his head. Like the rest of his attire it was gaudy. It was tall and had a large Obsidian crystal with ruby's on its sides. He looked over the crowd with pride and swept his cloak back with his hoof. He began his speech.
"My fellow Lunarians, As your new leader I......" he stopped mid sentence as the back at the hall exploded with glass shattering and Necro-moon flew in with Scourge and Cyclone behind her. She scattered the crowd as she entered. Blackstar was furious at this!
"Who dares to disrupt my Coronation!" Necro-moon was standing at the base of the steps looking strait at him.
"Coronation Blackstar. This is bad comedy." He looked at her and suddenly realised who it was.
"Luna? Is that you?" Her mane started to flow with a new intensity and her horn glowed a deep blue.
"Here's a hint!" she fired her magic which hit him strait in the chest. Lightning and fire wrapped around him. His cloak began to shred and his eyes widened in pain. The lightning finally stopped and a burnt shape of Blackstar was left standing. Then he crumbled under his own weight and a cloud of ash fell to the floor, leaving only the boots standing. His crown fell down the stairs with a loud clank, till it stopped in front of Necro-moon. She stepped forward and crushed the crown in one go, sending fragments scattering in every direction. She stood on the first step and turned to look at the petrified Shadowbolts who had just witness the shortest reign in history.
"Will any pony attempt to fill his shoes?" There was utter silence in the room, until a small Shadowbolt spoke out.
"what did she say her name was?" 
"Necro-Moon" She shouted at the Crowd. Then in chorus they all shouted out her name.
"All hail Necro-Moon! Necro-Moon," She stood at the top and kicked the remains of Blackstar to the side. 

She now had her army and now the Celestians were going suffer ten fold for her defeat as Luna. Outside the city the Discords Clouds were heading strait for the first Celestian base.

Chapter Four

Inside the base, Big Macintosh and Cheerilee felt the ground beneath them start to rumble and shake. Cheerilee looked out the window at the huge clouds which had stopped right above them. 
"Where in Equestria did that come from?" A giant hole opened and the taloned claw reached down, ripping the ground up into the hole. Big Macintosh pulled her away. 
"Who cares. I'm more worried about where it's going!" He ran to the comms systems and opened a channel to Celestrial City.

Up in Vinyl and Octavia's tower in Celestrial city, they were trying to put their communications back together. Vinyl was getting frustrated at the slow going of the work. 
"No No. The red one goes there and that blue one goes there." Octavia sighed, then pushed the blue circuit into place and the entire control board lit back up and Big Macintoshes voice crackled through the Static. 
"Roger me. Wilco me. Anything. Hello Hello Celestial city." Vinyl grabbed her headphones and quickly flicked the comms to the command centre. Twilight was busy with the others trying to organise the re-building of the city. She had written a list of work, which was exceptionally long. Vinyl's voice suddenly came out over the tannoy. 
"Twi to the Sparkle. We have a request for you all the way from Base number 1." Derpy ran over and activated the view screen. 
"This is Big Mac. A enormous weird looking clouds has showed up in the suburbs of Canterlot." Cheerilee poked her head into view. 
"And it's attac....." Screen went to static. Twilight shouted at the monitor. 
"Big Mac! Cheerilee!" The two of them had abandoned the room and were running for the launch pad and the ship waiting for them. They jumped into the pilots seats and started to activate the engines. 
"Got ta blast free if we can!" Cheerilee pushed all the dials forward and the buttons glowed red. 
"ignition and....." 
"Hit it!"
With a roar the engines the ship started and the ship started to move. But before they could take off, it was lifted backwards and fell into the hole. The rest of the Village followed them in a storm of rocks and debris. Soon the village was completely gone. 
Suddenly Twilights monitor came back to life and Applejack and Braburn were both looking at her from base number 2. 
"Twilight! A giant cloud has just ripped the first base to shreds! It tore it to pieces and sucked it into itself." Braburn stepped in front of her.
"we'll try an slow it down. But I reckkin you get here quick or we won't last ver...." Static was back to the screen. Applebloom shouted out from behind Twilight. 
"Applejack!"

Back at the base the two ponies were busy plugging wires from the console into sockets in the far wall. 
"Applejack activate the explosives! If this doesn't stop it nothing will!" The last cable was in place and Braburn turned the counter on at 100. 
"Explosives are activated. Lets get the hell out of here!" They galloped with all speed to their ship. The clambered inside and activated the engines. In a blast the little Skyship took off just as The Cloud stopped above the base and the claw came down. 

"5" Claw started to rip the base and pull it inside. 

"3-2-1" Kaboom. The explosion vaporised the base and hid the cloud in fire and smoke. Their little ship shook from the blast and the two ponies looked at each over with faces of joy.
"Yee harr. We did it." They put their hooves together and patted each over on their backs. But suddenly the ship stopped in mid flight. A familiar laugh filled the tiny vessel. Applejack remembered that voice. 
"DISCOOOORRRDD" she screamed as they tumbled into the hole. 
"Taint FAAAAIIIIRRRRR" screamed Braburn.

Necro-Moon watched the destruction from great hall and Her mane began to flow around her in anger. 
"How dare you Discord! Canterlot and all it's lands belong to me!" Her mane turned into bright orange fire and began to wrap around her like a giant snake. She screamed in pain as her whole body felt as if it was on fire. Scourge walked in front of her with an emotionless face. 
"But remember! WE belong to HIM!" Still in pain, managed to speak. 
"I belong to nopony! ARRGGHH" She lost her balance and fell down the steps till she reached the bottom. She finally gave in. 
"I will obey. Discord. My master" He mane returned to normal and she stood back up and looked at her Sweeps, warriors and Shadowbolts. 
"Lunarians. To Celestial city!"


At Celestrial city their was a flurry of activity as the two remaining Skyships were being loaded with equipment. Everypony was carrying crates of everything and anything they would need. Twilight came from the command centre with Rarity and Rainbow Dash to meet with the others. 
"Prepare to board the ships. This new menace is more dangerous than all the Lunarians put together. Somehow we must destroy it before it destroys Canterlot." Applebloom walked up with her saddlebags full of apples. 
"What about my Sister and brother their in the bases between that Monster and Canterlot." Fluttershy put her hoof on the young fillies shoulder to comfort her.
"Applebloom. We'll do everything we can to save them" Rainbow Dash broke the mushy moment with cold hard facts. 
"And what are we going to do when we get there. If this thing crunches villages, It'll make short work of us!" Applebloom started to cry again and everyone looked crossly at Rainbow Dash. Twilight had a idea.
"Perhaps the Element of Unity can stop it." Derpy suddenly called out.
"Your right! It can." Rainbow Dash looked at her with a suspicious look on her face.
"What do you know about it Feather brain!" Derpy shied back from Rainbow Dash and mumbled quietly. 
"It's just a feeling." suddenly their is the sound of beating wings. Pinkie looked up at the formations of Shadowbolts.
"Uuh oh. Girls we have a big problem." The Shadowbolts had a large dark Alicorn being followed by twelve different Pegasi. She dived steeply and the others broke formation to attack. She saw Twilight sparkle at took aim at her. 
"I Necro-moon will crush you just as Princess Luna crushed Celestia!" Twilight charged he horn a returned fire and her. 
"And you'll die trying just like Luna!" A magic bolt hit Necro-moons breastplate and left a burn mark. 
"You Celestian scum!" she shook her hoof in anger at the running Unicorn. Cyclone flew next to her. 
"You want me to gut Twilight Sparkle for you?" Necro-moon had regained her composure and turned to look at Cyclone. 
"There are plenty of Celestians for you. Twilight Sparkle is mine!" Derpy, Scootaloo, Appleboom and Sweetiebelle ran for the shuttle as two of the Sweeps glided in from above raining down fire. Derpy used her wings to protect the little fillies from the flames. 
"Keep close to me girls." The shots started to get closer and closer till their is a loud bang and a splat. One of the sweeps fell face first into the ground with pink cake frosting covering her face. The four of them looked up and Pinkie pie standing there with a smoking Party Cannon. 
"I think you would be better off staying close to me." At the first ship Fluttershy was having trouble getting the Wonderbolts on board. They were too busy fighting these new enemies to listen to her. 
"Erm excuse me. Would you be so good as to come inside. If that's okay with you." Her tiny and meek voice was drowned out by exchange of blaster fire which was filling the sky. Spitfire was chasing two of them trying to shoot them down. The others were doing the same. These new enemies, were much better flyers than any of the Shadowbolts. Twilight ran up to Fluttershy to see why their Skyship was still on the ground. 
"Fluttershy! Get the Wonderbolts on the ship." Poor Fluttershy was on the verge of tears. 
"I've tried begging, I've tried pleading. But they wont listen to me." 
"ok forget it. Rainbow dash, Derpy. Get them aboard and take off. The rest of us will make a break for the other ship." Rainbow Dash and Derpy flew up to the Wonderbolts and started to get them moving. At last they piled into the ship and Derpy closed the hatch. She pushed past the chattering Wonderbolts who were all commenting on these new flyers and how they were much tougher. Till she reached the co-pilot seat. Rainbow Dash was already getting the engines ready.
"This reminds me of the Battle of Ponyville. The Shadowbolts were...... Scootaloo, Sweetiebelle, what the hell are you doing here?" The two fillies were looking into Rainbow's eyes with admiration. 
"Your our hero Rainbow Dash. We wanted to hear you war stories." The ship shook and outside  the Sweeps started to strafe the vessel. 
"You living one now! Derpy engage the booster for Caterlot's sake!" Derpy' hoof pushed the throttle fully forward with a great rumble coming from the ship. Outside the engines sent a wall of flame outwards engulfing a Sweep and Shadowbolt. Their charred bodies fell to the ground as the Skyship took to the sky. 

Pinkie had Applebloom riding on her back as they reached the second Ship. 
"looks like were shipmates, Squirt!" Two warriors swept down firing blasts in all directions. Applebloom through one of her apples and it hit one of them in the face. 
"All right!"
"But if you get air sick, you're gonna walk home." They ran up the ramp into the safety of the inside. Twilight and Rarity were at the controls. 
"Hurry Rarity. Theirs no time for Pre-heat." Rarities horn glowed and the throttle moved forward. The ship started to move and a tiny filly appeared between them. 
"Hold on you two. Fluttershy is still out there!" She was flapping as hard as she could trying to grab the ramp. Rarity ran from her Seat with her horn glowing. In one quick movement she surrounded Fluttershy in magic and pulled her in. The Door shut and they lay their for a second to catch their breath. Fluttershy looked at Rarity 
"Phew. That was close!" she jumped as the ship rocked from enemy fire. 
"Trust me darling. This is the fun part." Ship was high in the sky now and Necro-moon and her forces were out of range. After an hour the two ships were side by side high up in the Atmosphere. Twilight turned on the the comms to the other ships.
"Congratulations everypony we've lost them. So get some rest. We'll refuel at Baltimare and work out our battle plan. And by the way, are Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle over there." The orange and white fillies heads popped up at the sounds of their names. 
"We're ok. We just got separated during the escape." On Rainbow Dashes ship they were all talking about their adventures.
"Yep, I Remember the dust being so thick in the battle of doge junction. You had to use windscreen wipers on you goggles." They all laughed at this. Soaring Retorted. 
We know about the wipers. We want the good part of the story." He was slightly drunk from his cider at this time and by accident he knocked over Powerglide. 
"Good parts, Dash. Tell us the good parts" Rainbow dash sat back in the chair with her pint of Cider. 
"Okay. Okay. Well the dust was very thick and i thought for sure...." Derpy interrupted from the rear of the vessel where she was sparring with Fleatfoot. 
"Hey Dash, Don't we have anything better to do than tell old stories." Dash was annoyed by this insult. 
"like what feather brain!" Derpy threw Fleatfoot to the matt with a thump.
"Like figuring out how we will rescue our friends and save Canterlot" This was met by a load of jeers and raspberry's from the drunken Wonderbolts. 
"Quiet. We want to hear the story." Fleatfoot got behind Derpy and put her in a head lock. Derpy lifted her over her head and tussled with her on the floor. Fleatfoot put a hoof up in submission.
"Okay you win. Time out!" The ship heaved with a powerful explosion. About a mile behind, Necro-Moon's Warship had caught up with them. She had pressed he forces hard to find them and now she was angry. She quickly pressed a set of buttons and a multiple number of missiles with long purple streaks, screamed towards the two ships. They both took evasive action and the missiles passed them and quickly turned around. Dash and Derpy were both at the controls. 
"Their just like the Shadowbolts from the skirmish of Trottingham." Rainbow dash commented.
"How did you defeat them?" Rainbow put a hoof to her chin.
"I'm trying to remember. Their was an awful lot of casualties that day. Oh Yeah, we Climbed sharply." Derpy pulled the stick back and hit the thrusters button. The ship lurched upwards sharply and the missiles passed within inches of the hull. As they turned around to go again, they loss control and Exploded in the front of the ship. They rocked from the blast but they were ok. 
"We survived that." 
"But will we survive this," Necro-Moon's ship ad closed the gap and was now right on their tails. Inside Necro-moon gave the orders. Cyclone. Get out there and attack. She lept out the launch bay and flew with speed for the ship. In a tight roll she flew underneath and unleashed a torrent of blaster fire which ravaged the port-side engine. As she came around she aimed for the bridge and fired again ripping into the controls and sending the ship plummeting out of the sky. They passed trough the clouds and saw white mountains. Inside Rainbow Dash and Derpy tried their best to gain control.  
"I can't control it!" the ship hit the side of the mountain with a loud crash. The front section of the ship with Rainbow Dash and Derpy parted from the rest of the ship. The Wonderbolts clung to dear life in the rear, as hit the mountain and started to slide. Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle couldn't hold on. They lost their grip and fell through the break into the white snow. 

On Twilight's ship they watched as their friends fell to their deaths. Rarity looked up from the radar. 
Rainbow dash and Derpy just brought it" Twilight was too busy trying to keep them alive. 
"I can't deal with that right now!" The ship shuddered from another blast hitting the rear. They turned heavily to the port just in time to dodge two more blast from Necro-Moons ship. Rarity pounded he hoof to the controls.
"Face it darling. The Lunarians will dog us till they see us dead." suddenly Twilight had an idea.
"Then that's what they'll see. Prepare for emergency separation. Fluttershy looked around shocked at what she just herd. 
"Um. Twilight, I don't think that's a good idea." 
"What choice do we have!" She Broke a square glass panel in front of her and hit the button inside. The ship shook as bolts exploded, separating the two parts of the ship. Necro-moon seized her opportunity and fired a full spread of rockets which hit the ships stern, Causing a huge explosion. Twilight dropped the ship into the clouds and levelled out. At least now they were out of sight. On Necro-moons ship, she watched the explosion with pride. Scourge stood next to her grinning. 
"The Celestians have been terminated." Necro-moon smiled. 
"Excellent. And the Element with them!" Her mane turned red again and started to wrap her in fiery pain.
"Arrgghh. Discord why? Take me to Discord, take me now!" Inside the cloud, the small forward section was travelling as fast as they could. They had taken a lot of damage which caused pieces of the hull to fall from the ship to the ground below. Inside the cramp space the ponies all breathed a sigh or relief. Pinkie was the first to talk. 
"Did we have to let them destroy three quarters of the ship" Rarity turned to look at her. 
"Well look at it this way. We lost three quarters rather than four quarters." The ship shuddered again and Twilight looked to Rarity.
"Is their any where we can put this thing down for repairs." Rarity punched up a list of territories on her screen.
"No, No. Oh gracious no!" Twilight was confused.
"What's the matter no where to land?" Rarity shook her head.
"Worst than that. Their all dirty places. Theirs Detrot, The Junklands or the...." Twilight's face was one of irritation at her friends. Rarity was quick to notice and quickly set course for the Junklands.

Derpy was starting to come around from the crash. The last thing she remembered was the ship breaking in two and sliding down the mountain. She felt a cold breeze across her face and as she opened her eyes she noticed that the cockpit was full of snow and debris. She looked around and could see no sign of Rainbow Dash. As she stood up the ship groaned under her hoofs. It was obvious that it wasn't going to last much longer. She had to find the others.
"Rainbow Dash? Scootaloo? Spitfire. Sweetiebelle! Any pony!" from the opposite side of the cockpit came a muffled sound.
"hhhhmmmmm" Derpy ran to the source of the noise. She started to dig with her hoofs through the snow. She came upon an piece of hull and banged with her hoof. 
"Who's their?." It was Rainbow Dash! Derpy Quickly found the edge and lifted it away to reveal a Injured Rainbow Dash with a couple of shards of metal protruding from her wing. With a lot of whining from Rainbow Dash, Derpy lifted her out onto the snow. 
"Rainbow. Speak to me." She groaned and looked up at Derpy. 
"Fix me up Derpy." Derpy started to grab all the Equipment that was left in the wreckage. She found a medi-kit, Field rations, a Blaster and some survival clothing. Then the ship shook again! She quickly put the Gear into a bag and grabbed Rainbow Dash who had passed out where she lay. She pulled her onto the mountain side just in time. The Ship began to slide again but this time as it gained speed it hit a large Rocky outcrop, which broke the ship into hundreds of pieces. 

Meanwhile
Twilight and her friends had the Junklands within view. It was a place where every this was disposed of. Ships, rubble anything and everything a wagon could unload. And they were planning to make a landing. The ship was getting closer and closer to the ground. Up in the Cockpit, they were having trouble. Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie were at the rear control panel. 
"It's no good Twilight! The Landing gear won't go down." The ship hit a piece of Protruding mental and caused the ship to shake violently. 
"Brace for impact!" With a bang the ship touched the ground. It slid for a long time till it finally skidded to a halt. Inside everypony had been knocked of their feet except pinkie pie. 
"wowie that was fun lets go again." Twilight lifted herself up and rubbed her sore head. 
"Everypony all right?" from under a console Applebloom poke her head out. 
"Twilight. I reckon the auto pilot deserves the sack for that landing." Using their magic. Rarity and twilight pulled the hatch door open to reveal an endless realm of Junk. Rarity shuddered at the sight of such disorder. 
"Urgh. This must be the junk capital of Equestria.!" Twilight quickly made up a list of repairs and pulled on a tool saddle. 
"Let's see if we can salvage this thing. They walked outside and started to sieve through the junk for any spare parts. From a far a group of Gryphon's and Ponies stood watching their visitors. A large orange Gryphon called Hookbeak looked on angrily. 
"Stop thief! No welcome-wagon, "Hello stranger" Cup of cider for you." The grey stallion next to him spoke in the same strange way. 
"yeah or you money back" The group moved over to a rusty cannon and started to get it working again. Hookbeak looked on with a grin.
"The Offer expires while you wait. Operators are standing by." 

Rainbow Dash started to come around. She felt a warm feeling flowing through her. As she opened her eyes she saw a fire had been started and that she was inside a cave. Derpy sat on the opposite Side, eating a field ration. Rainbow felt her wing and found that all the Shards had been pulled out and a small set of plasters were all that were left. 
"your wing is fine. The injuries were only surface wounds." Rainbow Dash sat upright a looked around. Her and Derpy were the only ones there. 
"What happened to the others?" Derpy looked grim. 
"I don't know. They must have been in the rear when we crashed. I couldn't find the crash site as I had to treat you first." Rainbow stood up and tested he wings. Their was no pain and she lifted off the ground with ease. 
Well theirs no time to waste then. Lets divide up the gear, find the others and get out of this Icy hell. The fire was doused and the gear loaded. They stepped out into the daylight and they look onto a plain of snow and ice, on the far side they could see smoke whispering out from behind a large hill. They both took to the sky and headed strait for the smoke, hoping it to be the Wonderbolts and the fillies. As they got closer they saw that it was from a small village. They houses were squat and round and many ponies wrapped in furs walked about. The two of them landed in the centre of the village and soon they were being surrounded by curious ponies. Derpy went for the blaster but Rainbow Dash stopped her. 
"Don't act hostile. Were out numbered." Derpy looked at her and gave a suggestion.
"Why don't you try the universal greeting." Rainbow dashes face showed discomfort at the idea. 
"No way am I using that silly line. It's ridiculous. Just offer them some food and they'll reciprocate." so the two of them pulled all the food from their bags and offered it to the nearest villagers. Within seconds they were swapped with hungry ponies grabbing every scrap they could get their hoofs on!" Derpy was getting worried at their aggressive behaviour. 
"I thought you said they would reciprocate. No more" All the ponies stopped and took a step back. Their expression's were all angry. Rainbow Dash shook her bag at them.
"Empty." In less than a second the ponies in front of them all burst into green flame and were replace by a swarm of black creatures with holes in their hoofs and glazed blue eyes. 
"CHANGELINGS!" Cried out Rainbow Dash, just before they were swamped by a torrent of them. From the top of a roof a small Scootaloo watched as Dash and Derpy were dragged away. She slid down the opposite Side and used her wings to flap clumsily to the floor. She ran as fast as she could to the distant tree line. As she got close she whistled softly. From the trees came Sweetie bell, relieved to see her. 
"what did you find Scoots, was their any pony their and did they have any food." Scootaloo shook her head.
"They were changeling! They've taken Rainbow Dash and Derpy." Sweetie Bell was scared at this news she remembered the attack on Canterlot a few years ago. 
"What do we do now? We can't fight Changeling's!" Scootaloo thought for a second. 
"We need to find Spitfire and the Wonderbolts. They can help us." 

Rainbow dash and Derpy were pushed thought a hole in the cliff and found themselves inside a the hive. Cocoons hung from the ceiling and the walls were full of infant Changeling's. They reached a large open cavern with a great pit in the centre. Derpy looked over at a large Changeling sitting on a black throne. He was a huge with a long back horn and sharp fangs. He had the same colour hair as Queen Chrysalis but it was tied behind his head. In front of him on a platform jutting out over the pit was a Zebra which Rainbow dash and Derpy never seen before. A changeling in front of him spoke loudly.
"Has his imperial majesty reached his verdict?" The Emperor spoke in a deep booming voice.
"I Have."
"Guilty or Innocent?" 
"Innocent!" The changeling turned to another at the side. 
"feed him to the swarm!" with a pull of a lever, the platform dropped the zebra in the blackness with a scream. The screaming continued for a few seconds but soon their was silence. The two pegasi were pushed into a cell and the door was slammed behind them. They looked around and saw bones and bits of creatures all over the cell. Derpy shuddered at the sight.
"We need to find a better travel agent." Rainbow looked out the bars to the pit.
"what in Equestria is this place?"
"The hive of the Changeling's and their tyrannical leader. Emperor Thorax." They both jumped out of their skins at the mysterious voice. Another Zebra walked out of the shadows to talk to the new guests. 
"My name is Zigzag. My home was destroyed by Discord." They both were shocked to hear that name again. 
"But that's impossible. He was locked away in stone!" The Zebras face turned bitter.
"Discord feeds on chaos. With your civil war, you gave him what he wanted! He is gaining strength before he puts his final plan into action. He eats villages and ponies and absorbs their power. He has become unstoppable." The door to his cell was opened and he was dragged out but two Changeling's. 
"No please. I'm the last of my tribe. No no" Derpy ran at the bars in anger.
"leave him alone! Uuuhhh" A hoof punched her in her gut and made her fall back. One of the Changeling looked at her in pleasure. 
"Soon it will be your turn" 
Outside in the cavern, Zigzag's trial was over before it started. 
"Has his imperial majesty reached a verdict." 
"I have."The Emperor boombed. Zigzag interrupted. 
"Spare me your mockery of justice!" He was ignored and the changeling continued. 
"Guilty or Innocent?" 
"Innocent!" Zigzag looked in horror at the verdict. But the floor dropped him into the pit. He hit the floor with a thud and mangaged to stand up and looked around into the blackness. He herd noises around him and saw dozens of eyes all around him. He screamed loudly as he was torn apart. Up in the cell they both listened to the horror. Rainbow Dash spoke quietly.
"Not an end I would wish on any pony!"

Outside of Canterlot, Necro-moon stood at the bow of her Ship looking strait into the dark cloud that was Discord. She was angry at the pain she had suffered for her success. 
"Discord! Why did you torture me?" 
"You have failed!" Necro-moon was shocked at this accusation.
"No Discord! Twilight sparkle is dead and the Element destroyed!"
The element has not been destroyed. And twilight sparkle and her friends are hiding in the Junklands. Stalk her! Tear her apart! And bring me the element. And if you try and destroy the element again, I will show you pain beyond comprehension!" 
With the fear of Discords power, she quickly set course for the Junklands. 

Soarin was high in the sky, scouting out the path ahead. They had seen no pony since they had left the wreak of the stern section. He came down and landed in front of the others. 
"They path is clear Spitfire. But their is still no pony in sight." Spitfire rubbed her chin in confusion.
"I thought for sure that their was some pony close." A jeer came from PowerGlide who was brining up the rear. 
"I think this cold is making you senile, Spitfire. Above them a large piece of snow came falling down. Spitfire bucked Powerglide out of the way just in time. 
"And I think the cold is making you slower than usual." Powerglide growled at the insult and the pain in his side from the buck. Above them they herd a pair of voices from the source of the snow. Soarin flew up to see who it was and as he got higher he saw it was Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle, both with blue noses from the cold. Spitfire and the others were pleased to see the pair were alive.
"Thank Celestia, you two are safe. Have you seen Rainbow Dash or Derpy?" Their expression became serious as they looked at spitfire. 
"They were taken prisoner by changeling's and taken inside the mountain. Follow us!" Spitfire pulled out her blaster and pulled it on her hoof. She looked over to the others.
"Pony up boys! Were paying the Changeling's a visit!" They all cheered together. 
"Huzzar" 

Out in the Junklands, Twilight and her friends were making progress on the ships repairs. Twilight was walking around with a list hovering in front of her as she checked the work. 
"Make sure those components are securely welded." A Groan came from everone as they had herd this over and over. Appleboom's was showing her skills as she was busy re-assembling the fuel manifold with pinkie.
"I think I've got it." with a click the manifold came to life. Pinkie looked at the pannel
"ooh Pretty" On the far hill, Hookbeak stood with his mixture of ponies and Gryphons all armed and ready. He raised his blaster.
"Froward, avantie, apfel and like, go for gusto." The sound of a engines stopped him in mid sentence. He turned around to see a large purple ship surrounded by over a hundred pegasi. On the bridge Necro-moon looked out at the tiny ship on the ground. 
"There they are!" The mixture of Sweeps, Shadowbolts and warriors swept down unleashing a rain of blaster fire. Twilight and Pinkie both fired up at the Lunarians. Twilight shouted over to Rarity. 
"We've got to draw them off and double back to the ship!" They started to scatter in all different directions as Necro-moon's ship came into range. With the pressing of the buttons, two missiles launched and screamed towards the ship. In a huge explosion the ship became just another piece of junk, in the ground. Pinkie looked back with anger in her eyes
"You spoil sports! That was our only ship!" She pulled out her party cannon and fired at nearest warrior. Who fell to the ground tied up in party streamers. With a lot of dodging they finally made it to the cockpit of a wrecked ship. Twilight stood looking at the swarm that was getting closer. She had no choice. 
"Everypony get inside. I'll try and unleash the power of the Element." Everyone but Twilight ran in. 
"Till all are one." she blasted the roof and the falling junk buried the entrance to the Cockpit. As Necro-moon was getting closer, Twilight tried every spell she knew to activate the element but it was now use. She resorted to trying to open the element with her bare hoofs.
"Open! Dammit open! Celestia, you said this would light our darkest hour." With a loud beating of wings, Necro-moon landed with Cyclone right in front of her. 
"Twilight Sparkle. I want that element!" 
"Never!" Necro-moon's eyes flared in anger. She turned away to look up at Scourge and his Sweeps. 
"EXSTERMINATE HER!" High above the sweeps began their attack. They rained fire on Twilight, piercing her body in several places. She groaned loudly and fell forward dropping the Necklace in front of Necro-moon. She lifted it up in her hoof and grinned a wide grin.
"Discord, my master. With this I'll make you my slave." Far away near Canterlot. The Dark cloud sent bolts of lightning in every direction destroying trees in blazes of fire.

Inside the cavern Rainbow Dash and Derpy stood in front of Emperor Thorax waiting their judgement. The changeling prosecutor in front of them stamped his hoof to gain silence. 
"Has his imperial majesty reached a verdict? The emperor's voice boomed. 
"I have" Derpy had been busy freeing her wings from her bonds.
"I'm nearly free" 
"Same here" whispered Rainbow dash, who was loudly interrupted by the Emperor who had overheard them. 
"Silence or you'll be held in contempt of this court!" Rainbow sneered at this comment.
"I have nothing but contempt for this court!" The prosecutor stepped in.
"I repeat. Guilty or innocent" The Emperor grinned.
"Guilty!" 
"Drop them!" The floor fell away and Rainbow Dash and Derpy fell to the blackness. As they fell they finally got free of their bonds and used their wings to softly land in the dark. They herd the noises around them and got ready for a fight. Dash found a rock on the floor and kicked it into the dark, where it was followed by a screech of pain. 
"We can't hold out forever Derpy. But we can give them one hell of a doctors bill." The two dived into the dark and started to take on the changeling's in the pit. Up above the others looked down into the pit, wondering why they couldn't hear any screams. From the far side their came a low explosion from one of the tunnels. Suddenly a ball of flame burst out into the cavern, scattering changeling's in its path. From the smoke burst out Spitfire and the Wonderbolts. 
"Who forgot to invite us to the party?" They all spread out and began to make light work of the Changeling troops. Suddenly a voice came from the pit below. 
"Spitfire! Were down here." They swept into the pit to join up with the Dash and Derpy. Rainbow had a idea.
"Spitfire! Lets show these bugs the our wing power. Tornado now!" they grouped together and started to circle the pit, going faster and faster as they went. Soon they were all burrs and the Changeling's were tumbling in the centre. The tornado burst out the pit and the changeling's smashed in the walls with splats. They all landed in front of the emperor who looked angrily at the Ponies. He shouted loudly to his minions. 
"Soldiers, execute them!" The Changeling's moved towards the ponies ready to attack. Spitfire slammed her hoof to the ground and made them all jump.
"I suggest you attack them!" she pointed to the emperor and his prosecutor. The Changeling's looked at each over and grinned. They ran past them and went strait for the Emperor. 
"I think the problems here will be solved shortly" Rainbow interrupted. 
"What about our problem. We need a ship." Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle spoke up. 
"I think we can help you there." Half a hour later they were outside the village where Rainbow dash and Derpy had been captured. Half buried in the snow was a old looking Airship which looked like it hadn't flow for years. Rainbow dash wasn't sure.
"That's a ship?"
"Who cares as long as it flies."

Out in the Junklands Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Applebloom came out of their shelter to find Twilight Sparkle lying on the ground. Fluttershy checked her for a pulse and found one. Very weak and faint. Without medical assistance she wouldn't last very long. All of them felt despair at their situation. Even Pinkies hair had gone strait and her coat had lost its glow. 
"Without the element, theirs no hope at all." They were all without a plan. They had lost so many friends and the enemy was stronger than ever. Applebloom looked on at Twilight.
"First the Princess and now Twilight! What are we going to do?" No pony had an answer as they were interrupted by the sound of hoofs and paws coming towards them. Hookbeak was charging!

"Don't look behind door number two, Monty" It's time to play End-of-the-line-my-valentine! Geroni-roni-doo-ron-ron-i-mo! Every pony scattered from the charging mixture of Gryphon's and ponies. Fluttershy took off and was chased by another pegasi and Gryphon. Rarity was chased by two Gryphon's as she darted around a corner. As they rounded the corner they slammed strait into a sheet of metal which was protruding from the side. Rarity has used her magic to pull it out and giggled in at how the trick had worked. But to her surprise they both got back to their feet. And the chase continued. She saw Pinkie pie and Applebloom ahead of her and called out.
"It's not hard to knock these brutes down. It's getting them to stay down that's the trick" Pinkie hit one with a Cupcake square in the eye and he didn't even flinch. He wiped the frosting from his face and continued to attack her.
"These meanies are indestructible!" Applebloom pointed to the ridge. 
"And their everywhere!" from the junk dozens of Gryphon's and ponies were coming out and soon they surrounded the the small group. Hookbeak stepped out and grinned at them.
"You check in. But you don't check out!" Up above Fluttershy saw her friends in trouble and dived to their aid. She landed in front and glared at Hookbeak.
"How dare you act this way! What would your mothers say, if they saw this kind of behaviour." He took a step back from this Scary Pegasi. It had been a long time since he had been spoken to like this! He snapped out of the daze and raise is talons, just to be stopped by the sound of engines. They all looked up at the incoming Skyship. It's was sliver and green, with a large rounded body. From it's cockpit Dash and Derpy spotted their friends below and brought the ship into land. Hookbeak and his forces looked on with surprise. 
"Steady as she goes, bob! Snoopy visitors get mud in the eye bye and bye, and film at five!" Everyone moved back as the thrusters activated and the Ship crunched into the junk. The hatch opened up to reveal. Rainbow Dash, Derpy, The Wonderbolts, Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle. At the sight of her little sister Rarity ran strait pass Hookbeak to grab her. Tears of joy welled up in Rarities eyes.
"Oh Sweetiebelle. I was so worried about you." At the sight of Hookbeak and his forces, Rainbow Dash went for her blaster. Derpy stopped her with a hoof on her leg. 
"Guns aren't exactly friendly." Rainbow spoke through her teeth.
"Neither are they if you haven't notice." Derpy had an idea suddenly pop into her head.
"Lets try the universal greeting." Rainbow Dash put a hoof to her head at the sound of that idea. Derpy walked up to Hookbeak and pulled out a muffin from her bag."
"Bah Weep graaagnah weep ni ni bong" she passed him the muffin and he looked back at her.
"Bah Weep graaagnah weep ni ni bong?" He took a bite. His eyes widened at the sweet taste and a smile spread  over his beak. He chanted the phrase to the others and they all smiled and joined in chorus. The danced they jumped clapped their hoofs and claws. Rainbow Dashes was beside herself with amazement. Her mouth was agape. Applebloom ran over to her friends and who had joined in the dancing. Rainbow was being crush hugged by a pinkie pie, whose mane had returned to normal at the sight of a party. Hookbeak gave out a loud roar which got everyone's attention.
"Have a nice day and please, close cover before striking friends! Breep drit, aw rootie, say the Junkions." Pinkie giggled at the way they talked. 
"Hee hee hee. How did you learn to talk so funny. Hookbeak pulled out a small box from his bags a switched it on. 
"Hub. We talk Hub. You talk some Hub?" Pinkie Giggled again. 
"And now for Transformers. Don't touch that remote." A round of cheers came from the Junkions. Two pegasi brought Twilight sparkle from her Resting place and placed her on the ground. Hookbeak smiled at them. 
"By George kimbosabes, your smashed up friend will be good as new with ninety day warranty including parts and labour." The two unicorns combined their magic into a large multicoloured ball which lifted Twilight off the ground and held her in the air. In front of the ponies eyes the wounds and holes started to disappear till nothing was left. Suddenly Twilights eyes opened emitting a bright white light. Hookbeak smiled at the result.
"Happy motoring. Cock-a-doodle-do," The bubble disappeared and Twilight's hooves touched the ground. Her eyes cleared and she looked at all her friends who were cheering.
"Twilight! Your okay!" she was overwhelmed by her friends hugging her. 
"You're all alive" Derpy looked at her 
"The Element!" The smile disappeared from Twilight's face. 
"It's gone. And with it all hope" Derpy had anger flare in her eyes
"No!" Rarity interupted.
"Necro-moon has taken it." Derpy looked to the others
"Where's Necro-moon. Where is she" Hookbeak called out from the crowd. 
"And the answer is.. Discord." 
"Then we have no choice but to destroy Discord once and for all!" Hookbeak turned to the other Junkions.
"Best friends and now destroy Discord. Kill the grand peubar. Eliminate even the toughest stain. Hurry hurry hurry-sale must end, rush right on down and test drive with no obligation." He walked over to a wall of junk and opened a panel. With the pressing of a few buttons the ground started to shake beneath their hoofs. A nearby hill started to move and grow. A shape was moving vertically into the sky. Metal was falling away to reveal a Skyship made completely out of junk. Hookbeak looked on with pride. 
"New Junklands. New sleek sexy import with turbo handling." He raised a claw and pointed to the ship. His fellow junkions followed as two ship got ready to leave. The junk beneath the vessels started to glow as the launch thrusters fired. Junk flew in every direction as they soared high into the sky and set course for Canterlot and Discord.

High in the sky outside Canterlot Discords clouds had grown dark and stormy. And standing in front of the great hole was Necro-moon, no longer afraid of this disembodied voice! She had the power and she would use it to make him do her bidding.
"DISCORD!... DISCORD! Answer me! See this- the element of unity. I now posses that which you most fear." The clouds began to shake and to Necro-moons amazement their came a bout of laughter from Discord.
"Ha ha ha ha.. Oh hold bold you have become." Necro-moon was in no mood for his jokes.
"You will do my bidding or..." The laughter grew louder and louder. Her eyes glowed bright yellow in her fury.
"Taste my wrath." She closed her eyes and concentrated on the element. For a second in glowed bright, but then it went out. The laughter stopped and was replaced by his voice.
"Have you ever seen those old cartoons where the giant robot attacks the city Necro-moon? No? Then let me show you!" Suddenly the clouds turned to a dull brown metal. With a rumble the metal cloud started to change shape. As it opened up a giant metal eagle claw extended and flexed its fingers. A lion arm came out the opposite side and clenched it's fist. The cloud was becoming elongated with a long tail which swished from side to side. Necro-moon was rooted to her spot in fear at what was happening. As she looked up she saw Discords head coming together with a pair of ruby coloured eyes.

He was the size of the tallest mountains and his body was metal. Suddenly a deep booming voice came out of the motionless mouth.
"For a time, I considered sparing your retched city of Canterlot. But now you shall witness it's dismemberment!" He moved with great speed toward the sprawling city with Necro-moon holding on tight screaming.
"NOOOOOO!" He stopped in front of the city. Raised is arm and sent a claw ripping into the side of the castle sending debris in every direction. Death-glide looked out from the watchtower. He couldn't believe his eyes. He ran to the tannoy.
"Lunarians.... We're under attack..... Scramble.." he was cut off as a giant paw squeezed the tower and crushed it in an instant. From the city came Necro-moons ship and every Shadowbolt, Sweep and warrior they could be mustered. In the Cockpit- Scourge and Cyclone activated all the weapons and opened fire on the giant mecha Discord. Missiles and blaster fire enveloped Discord in a cloud of purple smoke. Suddenly a paw came out and grabbed the ship around the waist. He pulled it to his face and looked into the cockpit and smiled.
"Oh how you have underestimated me." He drew back and threw the crushed ship back into Canterlot demolishing buildings as it fell. Necro-moon looked on with anger at the destruction of her city. She turned her horn at Discord face and fired strait for his eyes. The shots did nothing but bounce of his steel face. He looked down at the source of the annoyance and with his paw he grabbed her between his thumb and fore finger. He lifted her up to his open mouth and dropped her inside. She screamed as she fell down in to the blackness. 

From the horizon the two small ships came into range of Canterlot and the Giant Mecha Discord. The sight was beyond belief to all of them. Rainbow looked on grimly with Derpy next to her. 
"Doesn't this remind you of anything Dash?" she shook her head. 
"Nope. Never seen anything like this in all my life." Applebloom had her face pressed to the window. She was looking down to where the two bases had once been. All that was left were blank scars on the ground. 
"What happen to the bases? Where's my brother and sister?"
"I think that happened to them." Pointed Derpy to the giant Discord. 

As they drew closer the Wonderbolts flew out to begin their attack. Discord turned to look at the two ships. He smiled for a second and then he belched a torrent of fire at the Junk ship. The Ship seemed to be withstanding the intense heat! Hookbeak smiled from the cockpit. 
"Patented Enamel! Resist fire, rain and corrosion for up to five years. Satisfaction guaranteed."
The other chanted in chorus.
"Or you money back!" Discord turned his attention to the other vessel, his red eyes glowed and fired a red beam strait at them. It clipped the side and caused them to lose control. The Bridge filled with smoke as the ship hurtled for Discords face. With a smashing of glass, the ship went strait through the left eye and the ship disintegrated. Scattering the occupants through the giant robot. Discord clutched his broken eye in pain. He exclaimed loudly.
"Why is it always the goddam eyes!" 

Applebloom came around from her fall. She herd the familiar voices of Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle behind her. But their was no pony else. 
"You girls All right?" They both nodded. Ahead of them they herd the sound of voices.
"That must be the others!" exclaimed Scootaloo. She ran down the corridor with the others behind her. They passed into a large room which had a giant vat in the centre and up above on the ceiling was a conveyor belt with ponies hanging from claws. They watched as a dark brown unicorn was dropped. With as splash he landed in the vat and as his head broke the surface he screamed in pain. The boiling acid was melting him to nothing as he flailed for a few second. Then Applebloom saw them! Applejack, Big Macintosh, Cheerilee and Braburn were moving down the belt. Applebloom called at the top of her voice.
"APPLEJACK!" She raised her head at the sound of her sister.
"APPLEBLOOM!"
"Sis what can we do?" 
"Knock down the acid cover" she pointed to the large covers which were either side of the vat.
"But how? We don't hav a a blaster... Sweetiebelle! YOUR MAGIC! QUICK!" Sweetiebelle nodded. She had only just started to control her magic. But she had to get it right. She closed her eyes and concentrated. Her horn only fissiled. Applejack's eyes widened.
"HURRY!" At last it worked her horn glowed light green and beams of energy fired at the cover.  With a small bang the arm fell away and the lid closed. Applejack and the others dropped. It seemed they were too late to save them. But then a voice came from the top
"Girls- you did it." They cheered with joy. 

Derpy had fallen for what seemed an eternity. When she finally hit hard surface it was extremely dark. She looked around at the strange place. She looked over to a dark corner where she saw a blue jewel glowing. 
"The Element!" she shouted as she ran over. But the voice stopped her dead in her tracks. 
"It will do you no good Celestian. It dose not work!" Derpy sneered as Necro-moon stepped out of the dark.
"Not for a Lunarians!" Necro-moon looked down at her. 
"Like it or not we are allies now. Against a common foe." Her mane turned into bright orange fire and swept around her body, making her scream in pain. Discords voice echoed in the room.
"Destroy her Necro-moon now! Or I will tear you limb from limb!" She nodded in agreement.
"Of course my master. Urgghh." The fire stopped and she levelled her horn at Derpy who dashed off as fast as she could. Another shot destroyed the nearby wall as Derpy dived passed into the dark. 
"Come out Celestian. You lack even Celestria's courage!"

Outside- Hookbeak's ship has been flying around Discord, causing him to stop his attack on Canterlot. They made pass after pass, firing their guns at any opening. Finally Discord loss his patients and grabbed the ship with his paw. He squeezed tightly so that it was being crushed with them inside. The all ducked down as the ceiling got lower and lower. Discord drew his arm back and threw the ship to the ground below. 
Spitfire and the Wonderbolts watched The loss of the Hookbeak's ship and decided it was their turn. They flew behind him and dived for his back. 
"lets kick tail!" Spitfire shouted. They all brought a hail of blaster fire onto the tail. Soarin and PowerGlide used their missiles and sent the tip of the tail, falling to the ground With a thud. They all scattered as Discord tried to swat them like flies, for the loss of half his tail. He felt a deep rumble in his stomach and looked down to the source. For inside Derpy and the Others were fighting for their lives. 

Necro-moon walked in the dark chamber looking for her prey. 
"Come out Celestian. We all must die sometime." From her left leapt Derpy who slammed into Necro-moons side sending falling sideways. Derpy backed up against the wall and used her rear legs and wings to launch herself at Necro-moon again. But this time She was ready. He hooves grabbed Derpy and slammed her to the ground. Before she could react, Necro-moon was on top of her with her hooves around her neck. Her grip was tight and Derpy could feel he consciousness slipping. Necro-moon sneered at her with clenched fangs. 
"First Celestia.... Then Twilight Sparkle.... And now you! It's a pity you ponies die so easily, or I might have a sense of satisfaction right now." With the last of her strength, Derpy place her hoof on the element around Necro-moons neck. In an instant the room was filled with a blinding light! The chain holding the element broke and Sent Necro-moon backwards against the wall. She had to shade herself using her wings as the light was hurting her eyes.

Derpy's body was glowing with a golden aura and the element was now around her neck. She felt her body start to change. Her neck and legs grew longer. She felt a horn starting to grown on her forehead and her wings getting larger. In her mind she heard a familiar voice.
"Arise Princess Hooves." Her eyes widened as she recognised the voice.
"Celestia?" Necro-moon had enough of this and levelled her horn and blasted away at the light. But every shot bounced off causing no damage what so ever. Finally the light receded to reveal a tall grey Alicorn with golden hair and eyes. Like Celestia she had a Necklace and crown, but her Necklace had a large blue crystal flanked by six others. She looked at Necro-moon and knew what she had to do. She pointed her hoof strait at her. 
"This is the end of the road-Necro-moon" Her new horn glowed bright yellow and a almighty blast of light streaked out towards Necro-moon who was rooted to the spot in shock. The blast sent her crashing against a wall and she felt the immense pressure of the magic. But then the wall behind her started to crumble, till it finally gave way and she cashed through the side of Discord and far out over the horizon.
"NOOOOO!" soon she was out of sight. 

Princess Hooves stood in the chamber alone and closed her eyes to concentrate her power with the element. The Necklace glowed brightly and she talked softly. 
"Now... Light our darkest hour." The seven jewels all glowed at this point and a high pitch noise filled the air. Then in a gigantic wave of blue energy erupted from the Element and spread itself throughout Discords body. All over explosions began to rip Discord apart from the inside out. Elsewhere Twilight and her friends had been trying to find a way out. They came to a large junction of tunnels when they herd a familiar voice. 
"GIRLS!" It was Applejack! Behind her was Big mac, Cheerilee, Braburn and the cutie mark crusaders. They were all safe. Suddenly they herd a loud explosion from somewhere in the body. Fluttershy was scared by the noise.
"Twilight, what's going on." Another explosion! Much closer than the last one. Twilight shouted so that everypony could hear.
"No time to answer that now. Lets get out of here." suddenly a claw ripped into the corridor and sent them all running as fast as they could. 
Outside, Discord was in pain. He clutched his stomach just as it erupted in blue fire. His tail was doing the same so he tore it off the last half in one tug and threw it far away.
Back inside the Twilight and the others reached the large cassam which they had fallen down earlier. Their was no way up! Applejack was worried.
"What in tarnation do we do now!" Pinkie looked down the hole and started to jump for joy.
"Look, look it's Derpy! She's become a Princess. I told you she was in the last chapter."
Without stopping for a second Princess Hooves created a giant bubble of golden magic around the group and lifted them from the ground. Rainbow Dash was amazed at the transformation.
"I knew you had potential. But this is awesome." They were going faster and faster till they reached the back of the right eye, which shattered as the orb smashed it's way out. They got far away and watch the end of Discord. From his broken sockets beams of blue light erupted and he tore off his exploding right arm. He lifted in the air trying to escape but it was too late. 
His body bulged and expanded. He vomited blue liquid and looked at Princess Hooves with anger in his broken eyes. 
"Destiny. You cannot destroy my... destin Aaarrrgggg." Inside the head the real Discord roared in pain and exploded. The rest of the giant body did the same. His head was sent screaming into orbit with a blue tail of smoke behind it. His body scattered debris all over Canterlot and the surrounding area. 

Discord, Necro-moon, all of their enemy's were gone. The surviving Sweeps, warriors and Shadowbolts had fled the city heading for the volcanic wastelands to the south. 
Back it Canterlot castle Princess Hooves stood on the balcony looking out over her new subjects. Canterlot was practically in ruins from the attack, homes and stores were crushed, the castle was half destroyed and many ponies had lost their lives. But homes can be rebuilt, and life will always come again. She spread her grey wings and silence fell on the courtyard.
"Let this mark the end of the Civil war as we move forward to a new age of peace and happiness. TILL ALL ARE ONE." Everypony cheered in full chorus. 
"Till all are one. Till all are one." 

Twilight and her friends walked into the centre of Ponyville. The town was much quieter than normal. Most of the shops were closed and houses shuttered. But life would soon return. Twilight reopened her library with spike. (who had evacuated with most of the other ponies when the war started.) Rarities beauty boutique was the first shop to be opened again and became a beacon for the other shop owners. Fluttershy returned to her cottage and her little friends. She had her seen enough war and wanted to forget what she had seen. Rainbow Dash went back to her job as weather pony and her midday nap time. Pinkie re opened Sugar cube corner And Applejack and her brother and sister went back to Sweet Apple Acres. They trees all needed tending and the barn and out building were in need of attention. But within a year life was back to normal. 
Under the reign of Princess Hooves, Equestria had entered its golden age. Her promise of peace and happiness had come true. They only reminder of the war was the head of mecha Discord which orbited to Earth.
