Prologue: The Big Beginning

Today was not a good day for Timmy Turner.

It all started out so well, he was up to his old habit of making Trilogy wishes in the morning before breakfast with his fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda, and their baby Poof, but suddenly Jorgen showed up and abruptly ended their fun. Worst of all, he couldn’t find his fairies anywhere. That would not be such a big deal if his parents, best friends, teacher, and pretty much everyone in Dimmsdale pretty much didn’t suddenly forget who he was.

Worst of all, he was now being chased throughout town by some evil robot chanting “Eliminate Timmy Turner” over and over and shooting lasers at him. It was a good thing he was using AJ’s hover car or he would be in a much worse situation than he already was. However, in a dark twist of fate, the robot was able to blast his hover car and the eleven year old was now falling from the sky.

Luckily for him, Jorgen Von Strangle was floating from a distance and saw that the pink hatted buck tooth boy was falling from a great height and the robot was charging up a big laser. While he did think about using magic to make his landing softer, the robot could still catch the boy. So he resorted to his most desperate measure.

He lit up his big wand and in a flash, a portal appeared above Timmy and he fell right in, Jorgen was able to close it before the robot could comprehend what just happened. Jorgen breathed a sigh of relief, Timmy Turner was safe, and given where he sent him, he made sure it would stay that way.

Besides, given the high stakes, it only made sense to call on some old allies for help.

It was a pretty nice day in Ponyville all things considered. The sun was shining and the town was starting to do better ever since King Sombra had attacked. However, there was still some damaged caused by the dark rocks he put everywhere. While all of those were gone thanks to the efforts of Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie. There was still a significant amount of damage from Sombra’s onslaught, damage that Twilight and her friends were all too happy to help fix… well, most of them were anyway.

“I can’t believe I let you and Twilight talk me into this.” Rainbow Dash groaned towards Applejack as she painted a fresh coat of white paint onto one of the houses of Ponyville.

“Well sugarcube, it is the right thing to do after what happened with King Sombra and all.” Applejack smirked lightly at the rainbow haired pegasus.

“Applejack does have a point,” Fluttershy spoke up as she filled up some of the holes Sombra left with potting soil, “Besides, if we’re going to have a bigger role in protecting Equestria, we may as well fix the damages that occurred because of a major meanie pants.”

“I must admit though, Twilight appears to be taking the whole situation pretty hard.” Rarity admits solemnly as she levitated some paint buckets over, “I know she says she’s gotten over it, but I don’t think she truly has.”

Suddenly Pinkie Pie popped out of an uncovered hole and decided to speak up, “Well if I had to witness an invasion where my future subjects were turned into slaves, I think it would make me pretty sad.”

“Laying it on thick, aren’t ya Pinkie?” Applejack admits, kind of impressed with how easily the party pony was able to figure everything out.

“Eh, just Pinkie Sense.” Pinkie shrugged with a reassuring smile.

“What do you girls think Twilight’s doing right now anyway?” Rarity asked curiously.

“Last I saw her, she was talking to Mayor Mare.” Applejack told the group.

Twilight was indeed helping Mayor Mare out, currently she was reattaching a wood plank onto the mayor’s building to stabilize it after the attack Sombra caused. Once she was finished, she flew back down to where Mayor Mare, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer were all waiting for her.

“Thank you so much for fixing that Princess Twilight. I was getting really concerned about how stable this old building would be.” Mayor Mare smiled at the alicorn.

“No problem mayor. Is there anything else I could help you out with?” Twilight asked as she wiped the sweat off her brow.

“No, your generous deed today was enough. You can probably tell your friends they can stop for the day, they have been working for quite a while now. Until then, I look forward to your coronation.” Mayor Mare smiled before retreating to her office, and once she was gone Twilight was left giving a solemn sigh and unfortunately for her, Starlight and Spike noticed.

“Twilight, is everything okay?” Spike asked in concern.

Twilight immediately turned to her friends and kept a brave face for them, “I’m fine Spike, no need to worry.”

“Really? Because when Mayor Mare mentioned the coronation you seemed to get more downtrodden. Also, you were struggling quite a bit with stabilizing that place and when I asked if I could help you, you shut me down.” Starlight pushed the subject forward to the point where Twilight couldn’t deny something was up. The alicorn sighed and began to confess.

“Okay, I’ll admit, something has been bothering me.” Twilight sighed sadly, “It’s just that we barely stopped Sombra on our own and that was on Lord Of Chaos training wheels. I’m worried that if I become the ruler, I won’t be able to protect Equestria from harm. Worst of all, I nearly lost you two to Sombra’s mind control.”

Spike and Starlight shared a sad look towards one another and Starlight immediately put a hoof around Twilight to comfort her, “I don’t exactly know how you were feeling when you saw us in the state Sombra put us in, but I can assure that you will be a good ruler. You stopped countless of threats before and sometimes you didn’t even need the Elements. Trust me, you’ll adjust.” Starlight said encouragingly.

Twilight smiled softly at Starlight and Spike before Pinkie Pie suddenly began running over.

“TWILIGHT! You gotta come quick! Some weird flesh colored monkey fell from a portal in the sky. You gotta come quick!” Pinkie Pie cried out in fear.

Twilight, Starlight, and Spike shared a worried look before following Pinkie Pie to the middle of the town, ponies were screaming and running as they got closer to where the rest of their friends were. Twilight and Starlight then gasped at what they saw.

A pink hatted buck toothed boy with brown hair in front of them, who was currently laying on the ground, looking just as confused as they were.

Unaware of all the chaos, Princess Celestia was absentmindedly looking over some letters from some of the nobles in her throne when suddenly a loud pink explosion appeared out of thin air, causing her to abruptly stop what she was doing.

The cloud of smoke dissipated to reveal that Jorgen was now standing in front of Celestia.

“Jorgen Von Strangle? I was not expecting this.” Celestia exclaimed with shock.

“Princess Celestia. I bring unfortunate news from Fairy World. The darkness has returned.” Jorgen told the princess ominously which caused her to gasp in shock.

The Prophecy

Twilight and her friends were quick to bring Timmy back to their castle while calming down the townsfolk of Ponyville while promising they’d take care of whatever was going on. This event was really strange to them, but they had to tread delicately on this matter. After all, hostility to other species have gotten them nowhere in the past plus Twilight, Spike, and Starlight knew by experience that humans weren’t dangerous.

So once they made it to Twilight’s castle, Timmy immediately breathed a sigh of relief, “Phew. Feels good to be out of that mess, oh and by the way, where am I?” Timmy finished his question, clearly stressed about what’s going on, it’s been a hectic day for him. Not only were his fairies gone but everyone in his life forgot who he was, and an evil robot was just chasing him. Now he was in a world with multi-colored ponies. This just weirded him out.

“Don’t worry, you’re safe here. None of us are going to hurt you. To answer your question, we’re in Ponyville.” Twilight answered kindly.

“Who are you anyway? And where did you come from?” Fluttershy asked curiously and in concern.

Timmy thought for a moment if he should trust these creatures but then he saw how curious and confused they all looked. He could tell they were being genuine.

“I’m… Timmy.” Timmy finally answered not using his full name since that attracted the robots last time so he thought using his first name would suffice, “I’m actually from Earth. I honestly don’t know how I got here, I came in contact with a portal after being chased by this evil robot and no one remembering who I am so life’s been very confusing right now!” Timmy explained in haste before Fluttershy immediately tipped his chin upwards so he’d face her.

“Hey hey, settle down. You’re gonna be okay. We can help you with whatever you’re dealing with.” Fluttershy said comfortingly.

“Yeah, it doesn’t sound like you’ve been through the easiest time.” Rainbow Dash admitted sympathetically.

Starlight rose an eyebrow however when she heard this, Robots? Portals? Memory Loss? This all felt connected to one thing.

“I’m sorry if I sound blunt but have you ever been in contact with magic before?” Starlight asked curiously.

Timmy’s eyes widened, his fairies may have interacted with extraterrestrial beings before but he was unsure if it was safe to tell these ponies his secret.

“Uh… have you interacted with magic before?” Timmy asked with a nervous smile.

“You’re talking to two unicorns and an alicorn in a land that thrives off of magic dude. What do you think?” Rainbow Dash asked smugly causing Timmy to facepalm, how did he not notice that?

“Okay okay, I have.” Timmy finally admitted before speaking solemnly, “Keep this quiet, but I have Fairy GodParents. Cosmo, Wanda, and their baby Poof are fairies assigned to children like me due to having rough lives. My life hasn’t exactly been the greatest since I got Vicky as my babysitter as she’s pretty awful to me so that’s how they got assigned to me. They grant my every wish, and they’ve been like a true family to me since I’ve gotten them, but now we’re separated and all this mayhem has been happening since then.”

Timmy then sighed sadly, “Honestly, I really miss them right now. I just wish they’d come back.”

After hearing that spiel, Fluttershy and Rarity were visibly tearing up, feeling awful for what Timmy’s been going through, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash glanced at each other sadly, and Applejack just sighed miserably at hearing this.

However, no one was more saddened by this speech than Spike, for he too could sympathize with having an unlikely family and feeling lost when he was without them. Starlight immediately noticed the dragon’s sadness and pulled him into an embrace.

Twilight was also saddened by hearing Timmy vent but she knew one thing that had to be addressed right now.

“Wait. Fairies. As in, from Fairy World?” Twilight asked curiously much to the shock of everyone in the room given the fact she knew that was new information to them.

“Yeah, how did you know?” Timmy asked in shock.

“Celestia told me that she once had an alliance with the fairies when I was her pupil,” Twilight explained briefly before smiling at the fact they were getting somewhere, “But I’m happy that you told us this. Now we can write a letter to Celestia and see if she can come in contact with the-“

Suddenly, a large puff of smoke erupted in the room and sent all nine of them flying across the room and after the smoke cleared, there stood Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Jorgen Von Strangle.

“Must you make such a messy entrance?” Luna asked pessimistically to the Head Fairy who smiled sheepishly, implying he was the reason for this mayhem.

“Sorry, force of habit.” Jorgen apologized briefly before his eyes landed on the human child he had been searching for.

“Turner! There you are!” Jorgen said in relief, which also relieved Timmy as well.

“Jorgen. Man, it’s good to see you, and to see somebody that actually knows me!” Timmy smiles enthusiastically.

“Of course I know you. I’m the one who wiped everyone’s memory of you on Earth.” Jorgen explained which elicited shocked responses from everyone except the Royal Sisters.

“WHAT?!” They all shouted in horror.

“You seriously wiped the memories of everyone who knew this kid?!” Rainbow Dash asked incredulously, flying in front of Jorgen’s fearful face, “What the heck is wrong with you?!”

“Calm down Rainbow Dash.” Celestia moved the rainbow haired pegasus away from Jorgen with her magic, “Jorgen had a reason to erase their memories.”

“The robot that chased Turner in his planet was an Eliminator, which is why I had to erase all memories of his loved ones and enemies so that they would not reveal his identity back there. They have really good hearing.” Jorgen explained solemnly, “This is the one place that was far enough from their distance so that they could not catch him… for now at least.”

“Where are his fairies though?” Spike asked in confusion, hoping now that Jorgen was here, he’d be able to bring them back.

“I took them and the rest of my kind somewhere that the Eliminators would not hurt them.” Jorgen said sternly.

We then see that all of Fairy World was unconscious in some floating patch of land at some weird distorted dimension with a purple sky everywhere, one fairy finally woke up, it was pink haired with a curl on top, wearing a yellow shirt, and black pants, it was Wanda and she was in shock at what she was seeing.

“What the-“ Wanda asked in clear confusion before she shook her husband awake, “Cosmo! Wake up!”

The green haired fairy wearing a suit and tie woke up with a drowsy look, “Wanda, I’m having this weird dream where we’re in some freaky void.”

“We are in a freaky void?!” Wanda yelled angrily much to Cosmo’s horror.

“WHAT?!” His shrill voice had attracted the attention of all the fairies around and they were all beginning to freak out at what was going on before an all too familiar laugh made them all freeze in place.

“Oh you fairies are all so jumpy, it’s so predictable but so hilarious.” A familiar Draconequus floated downwards to be at eye level with all the fairies.

“DISCORD?!” Wanda cried out in fear before it was replaced with anger, “What the heck are you doing?! Jorgen and Celestia said you reformed!”

“Oh I’m just doing a favor for Old Jorgen. He said to keep you fairies safe from some threat or whatever and blah blah blah.” Discord said with an uncaring grin which some fairies were not happy with.

“Well we demand that we be released!” Cupid said in an authoritative tone.

“Indeed. My sexiness cannot be contained in this highly nauseating dimension.” Juandissimo shuddered squeamishly.

“Forget it lover boy and Narcissus. I have orders to keep you here and I plan to follow through on them lest I get into more trouble with another magical ruler. Now enjoy your new home for an unknown amount of time. My house is yellow and just nearby if you need anything.” Discord smirked before he disappeared with a flash.

After a while, Jorgen, The Princesses, Timmy, and Twilight’s group all found themselves at the empty Fairy World where they were being led to the entrance to the Cave Of Destiny and soon entered the deep and dark caverns. Fluttershy was noticeably terrified of this place as they went forward, and suddenly she came across a fairy skeleton, much to her horror.

“AHHHHHHHH!” Fluttershy screamed before flying into Applejack’s hooves, which drew Jorgen’s attention.

“Oh sorry about that, that’s from last year’s Halloween party. We sometimes rent the cave for holidays.” Jorgen said before laughing a bit, clearly sort of amused by what just happened.

“Can we please focus on what’s going on here?!” Applejack asked angrily.

“Maybe these pretty pictures will help.” Rarity said happily as she looked to see ancient cave drawings on the walls.

“Oh, that is called the The Cave Prophecy.” Jorgen spoke ominously.

“The cave prophecy?” Starlight raised an eyebrow in confusion.

“No, you’re not saying it right. Do it with the echo.” Pinkie Pie said happily before trying to sound ominous, “The Cave Prophecy.

"In ancient fairy times, a fairy's main job was to fight, not frolic. They constantly battled a mysterious enemy called the Darkness and its agent of destruction, the Eliminators.” Jorgen began his explanation, “The Fairy Warriors were victorious only when they combined their wand powers and neutralized the Darkness with its natural enemy, light."

As Jorgen is saying this, a flashback is shown of Fairy Warriors blasting a dark swirling portal with a beam of light and after doing so, the Darkness shrieked and flew off into the distance.

"But, our ancient ancestors feared that this ancient foe would come back so they sent millions of our strongest soldiers into space to illuminate it!"

Countless fairies then flew into space, with each star that would indicate the shape of the top of their wands.

"So that should the Darkness ever return, we will have a shield of protection, not unlike today's underarm deodorants!" Jorgen's finally finished.

“Was that last part really necessary?” Spike whispered to Starlight.

“Just go with it.” Starlight rolled her eyes.

“Amazing.” Timmy however said in awe before asking, “Do you have any popcorn?”

There actually was a popcorn stand just to the side of them where Jorgen began carrying bags of popcorn, “Small, Medium, or Large?”

"Surprise us." Timmy answered before Jorgen poofed them all medium bags.

At this, Twilight began absorbing this information and asked, “So all the stars in the sky are actually Fairy Warriors?”

"Exactly. They are our first warning system." Jorgen answered, "But last night, our deepest outpost, the Big Dipper Brigade just disappeared!"

“The Big Dipper!” Timmy realized in horror, “That’s why Crocker said it didn’t exist.”

"I had to wipe away all memory of its existence so no one would freak out.” Jorgen explained.

“So this is great but how does it affect us?” Timmy asked, gesturing to him and the ponies.

Jorgen then clapped his hands to reveal more cave drawings.

"Our ancestors then hid an all-powerful magic wand that could destroy the Darkness should it ever return. And, to protect this wand from falling into the wrong hands, they decided only a Chosen One could possess it and unlock its true powers."

“Cool.” Pinkie Pie oohed in amazement before asking, “Where is it?”

“No one knows. But it is said here in this cryptic message that the ancient rulers of Equestria had hidden it to protect their and our worlds from destruction. So far, no one has been able to figure out this ancient riddle.” Jorgen said as he then revealed a cryptic message written on the cave walls.

“The white wand is hidden in a rock and sealed in the light.” Timmy read before asking, “What does that mean?”

“You tell me because you’re the Chosen One, Timmy Turner!” Jorgen’s voice boomed much to Timmy’s shock.

“What?!” Timmy asked in horror.

“Yes. Check it out, pink hat, buck teeth, initials TT and I am not the only one who knows it!” Jorgen said before using his wand to put a spotlight on robotic footprints.

“The Eliminators were here! They know I’m the Chosen One! And you just said my name out loud?!” Timmy asked in horror.

“And it echoed a bit too, didn’t it?” Spike asked awkwardly.

After that, an Eliminator wearing a leather black jacket bursted through the rock walls.

“Eliminate Timmy Turner.”

“That thing looks terrifying.” Timmy gulped before two more Eliminators showed up and began using portals for mouths to begin sucking up everything they see, but before they could continue, Jorgen shot magic beams at the Eliminators, making them unconscious for the time being.

“Quickly, you must all go back to Equestria before it is too late and find the white wand.” Jorgen cried out.

“Luna, go with Timmy and Twilight, the two of us will stay here and hold them all off.” Celestia told her sister sternly as she spotted more Eliminators beginning to fly in.

“What?! We can’t just leave you here!” Twilight cried out in horror at the fact she was about to leave Celestia at the hands of those metal monsters.

“We have no choice. You will have your friends to help you. It is our only chance to help Timmy.” Celestia said solemnly before giving a silent nod to Jorgen who used his magic to blast Timmy and the rest of the Equestrians back to Ponyville.

Soon more and more Eliminators begun swarming in Fairy World, with Jorgen and Celestia exiting the cave and keeping their stances defiant despite the stacked odds.

However, their faces fell when a red and black swirling portal was overseen above Fairy World.

“It is too late for us…” Celestia said solemnly as the portal began enveloping all of Fairy World in its darkness before smiling tearfully, “But not for them.”

That was the last thing she said before it all went black.

An Anti-Fairy’s Discovery

View Online

Foop was shocked to say the least.

He expected to look out his window and see the disgusting sight of Fairy World and all of its saccharine stupidity. But now he sees that some swirly black hole ended up absorbing the land.

While the sight would usually bring him joy, right now, all he could feel was worry. His father most certainly did not employ a gigantic portal to suck up Fairy World and for all he knew, they could be next.

So as the evilest anti-fairy baby in the universe, he did the only reasonable thing.

“FATHER!” Foop called out with a booming voice.

His father, Anti-Cosmo, poofed in with an annoyed expression, “What is it Foop? You don’t need to yell when I’m three rooms away!”

“Look!” Foop pointed at the blank void in the sky, “Fairy World was sucked up by some dark portal earlier, and while I do delight myself in Fairy World’s misery, I know that this was not caused by us.”

Anti-Cosmo’s eyes widened in shock, a dark portal that sucked up Fairy World. This could only mean one thing…

“The prophecy is at foot.” Anti-Cosmo whispered to himself which confused Foop.

“Uh… I didn’t quite hear you.” Foop raised an eyebrow.

“An ancient evil has returned. The Darkness is one of Fairy World’s most powerful enemies, and a threat to our future attempts at universal domination!” Anti-Cosmo explained to his son with great fury, “That portal can suck up anything in the blink of an eye.”

“Oh well that’s just great! What does that mean for us?!” Foop asked incredulously, annoyed that taking over the universe would be much harder even without his enemies interfering.

“We will have to find the Chosen One in the prophecy, take them under our command and use their skills to OUR advantage. The first wand is located somewhere in a world known as Equestria, that is where we begin our mission.” Anti-Cosmo said with a malevolent smirk.

“Ooh, I like the way you think. You’re almost as smart as me.” Foop smirked back, though the backhanded compliment caused Anti-Cosmo to scowl at his son before regaining his composure. He then used his black wand to poof up a picture frame of the caricature Jorgen showed in the Cave Of Destiny.

“Let’s see here,” Anti-Cosmo adjusted his monocle, “A pink hat, initials TT, and buck teeth. Now who do we know who has all three of those…”

Anti-Cosmo’s eyes then widened in shock and horror when he realized who all those qualities reminded him of before rolling his eyes, “Of course it’s Turner.”

He then grew a smirk however and turned to the anti-fairy baby, “No matter. Foop, get your mother. We have an old friend to visit.”

“Shouldn’t we get an army ready?” Foop raised an eyebrow.

“Oh please, Equestria is a very magically inclined place. An army would just increase the chances of being discovered and defeated. We must be stealthy about this.” Anti-Cosmo explained before snickering evilly, “Soon Timmy Turner, I’ll be the one who gets the last laugh.
