> The Bio/Metal Warriors of Equestria > by ArmorKamen85 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > The Prologue > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, if you are reading this, please heed my warning, because you might be the only ones left alive at this point, and I need you to listen to me or otherwise we are all doomed and there will be nothing left. My name is Mark. Mark Hunter, I come from a world different to yours. A world where a species called humanity has expanded to great lengths and have been successful. You see they have been trying to achieve something that most would call "Achieving Godhood". And from what I've seen, they are successful. You see, they started with practicing rituals with a magic known as "Monad" which allows them to become one with nature and mix both biological and mechanical beings to form abominations known as "Vectors". making powerful machines that were made by using a form of magic known as the "Deus" which is something that inturn...makes these machines "Deus Ex Machina" as they have great power to the point that they are viewed as Gods. Hence it means "God through Machine". Then, humanity thought more to make them like these creations. And it soon led them to experiment on each other and they created themselves being capable of assuming forms that make them viewed as Gods themselves. There are two types of these. The first is the Bio, these are more violent of the products. Most can become feral and attack anything that moves. Only a few can manage to stay somewhat sane when they transform. The other is Metal. These are humans who can transform powered more by techolongy than the bios with a special implant in their arm. However, due to both sides having different opinions on how they should continue life, a war broke out to the point it took to the interstellar of the world. And because of their war, a thing had awoken, the Anti-Void. This God-No, that would be too nice. This entity is something that feeds on worlds and stars, and seeks to consume all worlds it can find, and while it will take a long time, if we don't act now against this monster, it will destroy more worlds. Right now, I am doing everything I can to make sure it does not happen. I am trying to save as much life as I can before it's too late. So please, if you're reading this, heed my warning, and do something about this. Mark Hunter, signing off. _____________________________________________________ Right now, we see a small blue bird who had been flying around the forest looking for food. It had eaten some seeds here and there but it wasn't enough. It needed to have some insects and worms before it can decide it was full and head back to its nest to avoid any predators that might be out there. After all, the little bird would be easy prey to anything that lurked within these woods. As it was looking for food, a sound gained it's attention, the sound appeared to be...laughter. Letting it's curiousity get the better of it, the bird flew to see what it was. It then arrived to the castle of the two sisters, this wasn't really the first time that the bird flew here since it had been here many times to collect food. What made this different was the fact there appeared to be other signs of life. The bird's pupiless eyes looked in interest when it saw an unsual group. In the castle of the two sisters appeared to be an orange dragon, a blue griffon, a cyan changeling, a yak, and a purple hippogriff. And they all seemed to be having fun with each other. The little bird then heard a sound and saw a pony, a green earth pony colt, pulling a wagon which contained apples, pillows, and some other kinds of food and material. The bird, being a curious creature it was, wanted to get a closer look of what it was seeing right before it's very eyes. But then it soon felt something that said otherwise. It was some sort of instinct that not even it had any idea on what it was. But it was sure that this instinct was telling the following. Danger! Get away! Must get away. Must fly away and find food. Without thinking much of it, the bird soon flew off away from the castle of the two sisters. _____________________________________________________ Right now, we see five of the six students of the former school of friendship having fun as they looked around the castle they were in. And it was actually more impressive than they were expecting. It had a lot of room to fly around, it had many rooms to explore, and it was possible that no creature would think to look here. Hopefully. "Huh. This place is way cooler than I thought it'd be." Said Gallus, the blue griffon who flew around in a relaxing way. Right now, the yak, Yona, was busy going down the stairs but soon tripped and roll down the stairs due to her hoove getting caught on her braid. Thankfully, she wasn't harmed in the slightest. "Even I'm impressed." Said Smolder, the orange dragon, as she took a gem from a old helmet she found and ate it. While may seem weird to some, it was pretty natural for dragons. "What's it called again, Ocellus?" "The castle of the two sisters." The said cyan changeling replied reading a book on the stairs. "I remembered it from class. Princess Twilight's "History of Pre-Equestrian Friendships." "Huh. Who knew?" Gallus said impressed. "School was actually good for something." And that was saying something. Don't get them wrong, they disliked the school and how it worked, but they'll admit it was useful for helping them locate this place, and it was the reason they had all met and became friends. "Yona not really like school." Said Yona before she then pulled Ocellus, Gallus, and Smolder for a tight hug. "But Yona like new friends!" "Smolder... like breathing!" Smolder said, as the said dragon Tried to pull free from her friend's bone-crushing and breath-taking hug. "Hey, you guys!" Silverstream, the purple hippogriff, called who was flying and peek through a window. "Sandbar's back!" _____________________________________________________ Right now, we see the green earth pony colt, Sandbar, who was busy pulling a wagon of apples, pillows, cupcakes, and other things needed for him and the other students to stay out here. It was a good thing he remembered about this place as it would be a perfect hideout. After all, who would expect to find them out here? But he hoped that no one would think to look here. After all, if he was found hiding the students from the other kingdoms, he would be in deep trouble, and may walk this world a free pony ever again. But before he could continue his train of thought, it was cut off by hearing a loud, yet familar voice. "Cupcakes are best cakes!" Sandbar's eyes darted to see Yona dashing towards him! He didn't have time to react, or even if he did, he couldn't move due to pulling a wagon. He closed his eyes and covered his face with his hoof, ready to brace the impact. But it never came. Sandbar slowly uncovered his face and opened his eyes before he looked to see that Yona was now sitting like a dog with her tounge out as Gallus was flying next to her. Sandbar put the dots together before he sighed in relief. "Thanks for the assist, Gallus." The said griffon turned and scoffed with a smirk. "I was saving the cupcakes." Sandbar rolled his eyes and chuckled as he unstrapped himself. While he did so, Gallus opened the box revealing cupcakes as he and Yona began to feast. As they did that, Ocellus flew around and saw pillows. "Pillows!" She said diving into the wagon and sighed in relaxation. "How nice! The castle is gonna be so much more comfy." "And fun!" Smolder poked out from behind and grabs a pillow. "Pillow fight!" She then threw the pillow at Sandbar and started fighting. Then a shadow appear above them as they saw Ocellus as a bear bug who then drops on to them before they all started laughing. "YOU GUYS!" The five turned to see Silverstream with an excited look on her face. "I just found STAIRS!" She shouted near the staircase leading inside. The others looked at each other and back at Silverstream confused. While they were glad she was enjoying herself like they were, something like stairs was kinda a mundane thing that you can see anyway in Equestria. "Aaaand we care because...?" Gallus asked. "Stairs are awesome! Silverstream said rubbing the said stairs she was fawning over. "We don't have anything like 'em underwater,'cause you know..." She uses her necklace to turn herself into a Seapony and sat on the stairs. "no way to climb 'em!" "Ooooooh." The others said getting the idea. They did hear that the hippogriffs were once sea ponies who remained under water for a long time due to the Storm King's invasion. Silverstream turned back to her hippogriff form. "This place has everything! If only my family back home could see it." Then a apple was toss up and bounces off her head. And she takes a bite out of it. "I wish the other changelings could meet you all." Said Ocellus. "You're not as strange as the stories say." The others, except Silverstream who was still eating the apple, looked a bit offended but they shrugged it off. "Gee, thanks." Smolder spoke looking a bit annoyed. "But yeah, hanging out with other creatures is actually... not bad." Sandbar nodded. "Now let's head inside, so we can get settled before any creature sees us." The others nodded and followed Sandbar inside before closing the door behind them. As they entered, they decided to look for a room that can be used for their sleep quarters. After all, they would be staying here together. Thankfully, Ocellus being a bookworm, managed to find a room which according to her, is where the two princesses of Equestria relaxed and read books when they were younger. And the best part was the fact that there was more than enough room for them to set up to sleep for the night and many nights to come. And now they were set to sleep, they can look around more of the castle of the two sisters. As they did so, they ended up at what appeared to be a room that had some sort of mirror at the wall. "Woah." Gallus broke the silence taking in his surrounding. "What is this room?" "I heard that this was the Research room used by the Princesses' parents." Ocellus explained. "They liked to learn and research about anomalous artifacts. And one is that mirror." Smolder flew up the said mirror. "This thing, it looks pretty old." Sandbar chuckled. "Well, it has been here for a thousand years. So what does the mirror do, Ocellus?" The said changeling put her hoof to her chin. "Well, it's said, but never shown, it has the ability to bring things or creatures from other realities." "Realities?" Yona questioned looking confused. "She means other worlds." Sandbar explained. Silverstream's eyes lit up upon hearing that. "Ooooh! Really?!" Ocellus guggled at her friend's reaction. "Well, while it's been said, it has never done so in person." Gallus scoffed leaning against the mirror. "Besides, I doubt alternative realities exist." However, a sound was heard as the mirror began to glow. The students, seeing this, immediately backed away with shock and possible fear as they saw the mirror glow. "Gallus!" Smolder shouted. "What did you do?!" "I-I don't know!" The said blue griffon stuttered. "Take cover!" Sandbar yelled before he and the other students took cover as a shockwave was made with a flash. Once the flash cleared, the students slowly peered out to see what was there. But once they did, their eyes widen of what they were seeing in front of them. The mirror that had once been on the wall, had shattered. It was now nothing more than broken glass and better on the floor. But that, wasn't what entirely caught their attention. Right now in front of them, facing away from there were two tall figures that stood on two legs. One, appeared to be be blue, grey and a little bit of green as it was spikey. The other, was red and black with one golden feathered wing at the left side of it's back. But that wasn't all. These two were facing were two legged creatures that appeared to also be standing on two legs. But they...appeared wrong. They looked like fleshy monsters that had nothing more than bone and teeth coming out of them. These things were something out of a nightmare. The students stayed quiet, not wanting to be seen or heard by the newly arrived creatures that were in the room. "Looks like we got transported." The red one said with the voice sounding to be male.. "But it doesn't matter, let's kill these abominations." The blue one nodded entering a battle stance as the red one did the same. The creatures roared and charged at the two as a fight began. The red one dodges slashes and bites left and fight before he grabbed one creature and slammed it to ground many times before kicking it back. The red one then coated his right fist in flames before shooting fire at the creatures who roared in pain as they burned to death. The red one soon dodged a slash from another creature before grabbing it by the neck and snapped the said body part, killing it instantly. The red one soon took out two items and then began blasting at the creatures, whos' brains were shot out as blood coated the room that they were in. More creatures tried to do a sneak attack but.... "RRRRAAAAGGGHH!!!!" The blue one jumped at them and pinned one down before proceeding to beat the creature to death as he rapidly punched at the creature's face many times until it was nothing more than mush. The blue one did a back flip to dodge a slash from another creature before holding the creature by the neck with his legs before flipping and slamming the creature's head to the ground with so much force that not only did it cause a small crater, but also made the creature's head splat as blood went everywhere. The blue one got up and saw many more of the creatures coming towards him, so he then had a blade come out of his arm before he dashed and began to slice down the creatures that were attacking him while he dodged the attacks. The blue kept cutting the creatures easily as if they were made of tissue paper as limbs and guts filled the room. The students watched on in shock and absolute horror. They could not believe at what they were seeing. The red one and blue one were easily and brutally killing their attacks with ease as blood and guts filled the room. Silverstream, Ocellus, and Yona were sobbing seeing the carnage that was happening right in front of them while Smolder held back the urge to puke at what she was seeing. Sandbar and Gallus were not fairing better, this was something they could never had imagined seeing first hand. It was something out of a horror story. But what they were seeing, was all too real. A creature spotted the students who froze. Before the creature could attack, the red one got between them. "Where do you think you're going?" The red one asked before it took out a long black sword and dashed at the creature and cut it in half as blood spilled. The creatures keot on attacking the red one and the blue one only to get easily and brutally killed as the two, despite being outnumbered, intercepted and dodged all of the attacks that the creatures did at them as the room was being littered with bodies and guts. "Let's say we end this?" The red one asked earning a nod from the blue one. "Good." The two readied themselves as the blue one's right arm grew bigger while the red one charged a black ball of energy in his hand. The two then fired at the creatures with two blasts as the creatures were vaporised by the attacks in an explosion. The red one and blue one sighed before falling to the ground unconscious. Then they began to glow as their size shrank and their appearance changed. The red one was now a young hairless creature, safe for the brown hair on his head, who wore a black jacket, a red shirt, black trouers, white shoes, and black cap. The blue one was now a creature similar to what the red one, but he had blonde hair, wore a white shirt, black shorts, white shows, and had a white and cyan cap. It didn't take the students long to connect the dots. These two were kids! "Yona is confused." Yona said being the silence. "How, how can creatures our age be capable of such violence?!" Ocellus still trying to wrap her head around what just happened. It didn't help that the dead bodies on the floor and the blood was still around them. She felt close to vomiting. "But you gotta admit, it was kinda cool." Smolder spoke up. "Agreed." Gallus nodded. The rest glared at the two, which made Gallus and Smolder be silent knowing their comments were not exactly welcome at the time. Clearing his throat, Sandbar spoke up. "Whatever the case, we gotta help them." The others looked at Sandbar as if he had grown an extra head. "Are you crazy?!" They all shouted. "I know...and I'm asking that myself." Sandbar admitted. "But if it wasn't for them, those creatures would've killed us. Besides, if anything goes wrong, I'll take full responsibility." Gallus raised an eyebrow. "Meaning?" "You can blame it on me." Sandbar simply replied with a smile. Ocellus sighed. "Let's just do it. I don't want to be in this room anymore." They nodded as Smolder carried the red one, while Silverstream carried the blue one. It now seemed that the students ended up getting in something more than they bargined for, but they hoped things will get better. And when the two woke up, they hope to ask them questions and know the answers.
