Potentially the only chapter
I smiled over the cup of hot chocolate and felt my face warm up. I cautiously picked up the hot mug and quickly took a sip. I smiled even bigger as the taste of white chocolate spread through my taste buds and body started to warm up.
"Enjoying yourself?" Pinkie eagerly asked as she sipped her own hot chocolate. I gave a quick nod as I looked over my girlfriends dark red winter coat and scarf. She had a pink winter hat on matching my orange and red hat.
"Yeah, I am. What about you all?" My eyes flicked over to the rest of my friends.
"I'm having decent time darling," Rarity agreed as she sipped her dark chocolate.
"You said it!" Rainbow exclaimed as she tried to balance a mug on her head. I gave her a concerned look.
"I don't think that's a good idea," I pointed out. Fluttershy reached out and grabbed the empty cup, setting it in front of Rainbow.
"Ah'm not paying for no darn broken mug," Applejack grumbled.
"Me neither," I agreed.
"What are we all doing for Christmas?" Pinkie asked excitedly. "I'm gonna go crazy making cookies and gingerbread cookies and gingerbread houses. Oh and decorations!"
"Spending time with mah family and mentally preparing to take down all the Christmas decorations offa mah trees Pinkie's gonna put on em," Applejack said dryly. I gave a chuckle at that.
"Play soccer with Scootaloo and buy gifts," Rainbow announced.
"How you can wear skirts in the winter is beyond me," I grumbled. "It's cold as hay outside." Fluttershy giggled at that.
"I still can't get over that hay is a insult in Equestria," she kept giggling.
"I'm immune to the cold," Rainbow boasted with a grin.
"Clearly," Rarity grumbled. "I'm taking Sweetie out shopping for gifts and then we're spending time with Mom and Dad."
"They're actually spending time with you?" Rainbow scoffed in surprise. "That's a shocker, I expected them to be on another trip this Christmas."
"Me too," Rarity admitted. I grimaced at that admission. We all knew Rarity's parents were less than present.
"Spending time with Mom and Dad," Fluttershy sipped her tea. How she was drinking tea instead of hot chocolate I'll never know. To each their own I suppose.
"What about you, Sunset?" All eyes were on me and I choked on my hot chocolate a bit. I shrugged.
"I don't know," I admitted. "Probably nothing. Sleep, play video games. Watch TV, cook stuff like that."
"You're doing nothing for Christmas?" Rainbow asked incredulously.
"No? I've never done anything for Christmas before, why start now?" I asked. Pinkie gasped and leaned across the table to me, spilling my hot chocolate on my coat. I tried my hardest to not yelp at how hot it was.
"You've never done anything for Christmas ever!?" She exclaimed and grabbed me by the shoulders.
"No? I never cared enough about it when I first got here, and this is my first year having actual friends so, yeah," I admitted with a sheepish smile as I ignored the burning hot chocolate on my jeans. Pinkie released me and sat back in her seat. Rarity quickly handed me a few napkins and I started cleaning myself to the best of my ability.
"Well, if you want you can come to Pinkie's Christmas party at Applejacks," Rarity offered. I shook my head to her chagrin.
"I have to clean my apartment otherwise I would," I grumbled. That wasn't necessarily the truth. I didn't really feel like I deserved the attention after what I did. I think Applejack knew the truth too because she gave me a look. I can only describe the look as a parent would give their kid after catching them doing something wrong and being disappointed in them. I gave Pinkie a quick kiss and stood up.
"I really need to get home and change," I mumbled. "Sorry guys." I took off to the exit and ran home, feeling the cold wind biting me.
"That girl is confusing," Rainbow Dash announced.
"Ya got that right," Applejack agreed as she stared after where Sunset had ran off too.

I gave a sigh as I tossed my jeans into the laundry basket. I pulled on some black leggings and a new shirt. I didn't even realize the hot chocolate had got on my shirt some how. I gave a faint smile as I walked to the kitchen and pulled out my popcorn from the microwave. I quickly poured it into a bowl and plopped onto the couch, turning on a Star Wars movie. My smile grew even bigger when I recognized it as Revenge of the Sith. I quickly tossed some popcorn into my mouth and watched Anakin destroy some droids. This was my favorite Star Wars movie, hands down. A loud knocking sound on my door startled me and I jumped. I wasn't expecting anyone over tonight. I glanced at the clock and frowned. It was about seven thirty, Pinkie's party should be underway.
Sighing, I set my popcorn aside and paused the tv. I stood up and walked over to the door, unlocking it and opening it. I stared in shock at my friends standing on the other side.
"What are you all doing here?" I asked after a second.
"Well, we figured if you couldn't make it to the party, we would bring the party to you!" Pinkie chirped excitedly. She was wearing a long black coat. It was cold, but not that cold.
"It didn't feel right. Us being one friend down," Rainbow piped in. "Can we come in?" I quickly stepped aside and gestured.
"Yeah, I'm sorry. Come on in." My friends filed in and Rarity locked the door behind them. Rainbow immediately launched herself to the couch and plopped down. She rolled her eyes when she saw what I was watching.
"Really, Sunset? Star Wars again? She recorded the movie for me to watch later and started searching for Christmas movies.
"I was in the mood for Star Wars," I defended myself. Rainbow gave a grin as she turned on Home Alone.
"I love this movie," she sighed as Rarity sat down next to her. She grabbed a blanket I had sitting next to the couch and covered herself and Rainbow up. Rainbow glanced over and smiled at me. "Got some music, Sunset?" I rolled my eyes and walked to the counter. That girl always needed more noise, as if the tv wasn't enough. I quickly turned on a Christmas station and music started to fill the room. Rainbow gave me a grateful thumbs up and focused back on the movie.
"Ah brought some food," Applejack held up a few plates of covered food.
"Want help taking it to the kitchen?" I asked and she shrugged.
"Up to ya, Ah can take care of it." I took a plate and walked into the kitchen. Applejack put it in the fridge and hugged me. "Thanks Sunset, your apartment looks clean." She put emphasis on the word clean. I sighed.
"Yeah, sorry about that lie. Never been a huge fan of Christmas or big get togethers. Don't tell Pinkie or she'll get sad. I do like our small parties though."
"It's all good, sugarcube," Applejack reassured me and her eyes narrowed. "Just don't do it again." I smiled as she released me and we walked back to the living room. My apartment was kinda small so it was easy to get from one room to the next. My eyebrow raised at Pinkie still wearing her long black coat.
"Are you cold, Pinks? I asked. "I can turn the heat up if you need it."
"N-nope. I'm good," she stammered out and I shrugged it off. Just Pinkie being Pinkie. A few hours passed and I felt my self drifting off. I quickly stood up and smirked at all my sleeping friends under one blanket. How they managed that, I'll never know. I walked to my room and flopped down on the bed.
I started to close my eyes when my door creaked open. I cracked one open and made out a figure enter my room and shut the door.
"Who's there?" I asked. The light flicked on and I immediately covered my eyes with a hand. "You monster." I removed my hand and glared the person. "Pinkie? I thought you were asleep?"
"You left me on the couch," she pouted. "I always sleep with you."
"I thought you were asleep," I defended myself. "Come get in bed then. I'm sorry."
"Maybe you deserve your gift after all," Pinkie mused.
"Christmas is four days away, Pinks," I pointed out. She locked the door and I raised an eyebrow.
"This kinda gift I can't give in front of others," she dropped her black coat to the ground and my eyes widened. Pinkie was wearing a skimpy Santa Claus dress that was way too short and left little to imagination. My eyes traveled up her legs and lingered up her chest. I felt my mouth go dry.
"Wow," was all I could say. She quickly crossed the room and laid on top of me. She gave me a long, hard kiss and pushed her tongue in my mouth. She pinned my hands above my head. I did enjoy when Pinkie was dominant like this.
"Whatever are we going to do?" I teased as she pulled away from the kiss.
"Shh," she whispered. "I'm taking care of you tonight." She gave me another kiss and I relaxed into the bed.
And take care of me that night, she did.
