> DangerVerse Motorsports Events II - Man Versus Machine > by DangerDean > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Mystic Falls 500 (Multiclass) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Mystic Falls Raceway was one of the most picturesque tracks in Aeris with a waterfall a mile from the track or where turn 12 is. For most drivers. it is one of the main tracks in Equestrian GT Championship calendar. In this race which is a 500 mile endurance race with multiple classes from GT3 cars to Porsche Cup Cars. Super Trofeo cars to the Ferrari 488 Challenge cars. This was also the first time that human androids can compete against the likes of Viral Velocity, Danger Dean, Aria Blaze or even Rusalka Swordlight. The Danger City-Equestrian Motorsport Association, in collaboration with Danger Motorsport, launched a program 2 months prior to the race that encourages androids to get into motorsport and about millions of androids took to the tracks to compete against their human creators. 1. #24 Viral Velocity, Ferrari 296 GT3, GT3, 1:47.593 2. #5 Sonic Flash, Ferrari 296 GT3, GT3, 1:47.706 3. #23 Iris Dayspark, Mercedes-AMG GT3, GT3, 1:47.729 4. #14 Aria Blaze, Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2, GT3, 1:47.768 5. #35 Crimsonia Dragonsfire, Ferrari 296 GT3, GT3, 1:47.916 6. #50 Danger Flash, Ferrari 488 GT3 EVO, GT3, 1:48.008 7. #21 Twilight Sparkle, Mercedes-AMG GT3, GT3, 1:48.046 8. #97 Rusalka Swordlight, Porsche 911 GT3 R (992), GT3, 1:48.114 9. #98 Alexandra Swordlight, Porsche 911 GT3 R (992), GT3, 1:48.458 10. #11 Blazing Lionfire, McLaren 720S GT3, GT3, 1:48.667 11. #15 Danger Dean, Ferrari 296 GT3, 1:48.678 12. #45 Manic Speed, Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3, GT3, 1:48.780 13. #51 Cassandra Flamestinger, Porsche 911 GT3 R, GT3, 1:48.888 14. #1 Rainbow Dash, Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3, GT3, 1:49.045 15. #151 Danny Dean, Ferrari 488 GT3 EVO, GT3, 1:49.228 16. #22 Sonata Dusk, Acura NSX GT3, GT3, 1:49.442 17. #52 Kristina Flamestinger, Acura NSX GT3, GT3-Android, 1:49.635 18. #124 Jessica Shadelight, Audi R8 LMS EVO, GT3-Android, 1:49.795 19. #152 Astral Dash, Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3, GT3, 1:50.336 20. #191 Maria Thunderlight, Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, 992 Cup-Android, 1:50.398 21. #36 Azura Dragonsfire, Ferrari 296 GT3, GT3, 1:50.688 22. #194 Azusa Iceblast, Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, 992 Cup-Android, 1:50.742 23. #126 Imogen Shadowstalker, Lexus RC-F GT3, GT3-Android, 1:51.098 24. #153 Amanda Thunderlight, Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, 992 Cup-Android, 1:51.224 25. #91 Beatrice Radiance, Porsche 911 GT3 R, GT3, 1:51.275 26. #78 Jasmine Spark, Mercedes-AMG GT3 (2020), GT3, 1:51.386 27. #106 Michiko Arasaka-Soulflame, Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2, Super Trofeo-Android, 1:51.879 28. #194 Azusa Nightblast, Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, 992 Cup, 1:52.056 29. #109 Vivana Dragonclaw, Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2, Super Trofeo-Android, 1:52.203 30. #111 Ricarda Earthwalker, Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2, Super Trofeo-Android, 1:52.369 31. #125 Jasmine Astral, Lexus RC-F GT3, GT3-Android, 1:52.469 Before the race started, Danger was busy with Azura, Beatrice and Jasmine after they underestimated the pace of the 992 Cup Cars “Don’t worry girls, you got 114 laps to turn your position you are in to make it a possible race win. I believe in you three.” Danger said while putting a hand of a Beatrice’s shoulder. “Danger, you can rely on me any day of the year, also Jasmine and Azura.” Beatrice replied to Danger’s pearl of courage. “Also experiment with the androids in the race, I’m sure they will put up a good fight.” “I trust your word for it, Danger.” Jasmine said, placing a hand on his shoulder. All 31 cars were on the start-finish straight ready for 114 laps of the Mystic Falls Raceway. All 5 red light come on… and that Mystic Falls 500 starts with Viral getting a decent start to take an early lead with Sonic behind. Aria was in 3rd and Danger was still adjusting to his new 296 GT3 and that despite a difficult start, he overtook the McLaren of Blazing Lionfire go into 10th. A few corners later, the #23 Mercedes of Iris Dayspark was being hounded by the Lamborghini of Aria Blaze and on last corner, Aria used her experience with Lamborghini in Formula Equestria to overtake the 2021 Equestrian GT Champion, even though the #23 Team Black Falcon liveried car was the very car that carried Iris to her title after her championship-long battle with Sonic Flash. Speaking of Sonic Flash, the runner up in that championship was trying any trick he had to overtake the Ferrari of Viral Velocity. Viral was sporting a different livery than usual. She kept her Liberty University livery on the front half of the car, but on the rear half of the car were Danger’s ‘Double D’ insignias on the rear bumper of her 296 GT3. This was because Viral switched to Danger Motorsport after one of her friends had had enough of Oscura Galaxia crashing into him at any opportunity, which to Danger, was more a chance since she had been in the wars with the British Speedfreak for more than a decade. Oscura’s trash talk about him on social media wasn’t helping either and Oscura criticized the move to Danger Motorsport that was entirely Danger’s idea. But despite this, the Dean-Velocity Motorsport Alliance had begun. With the 4 laps in the books and 110 laps to run, the leading Android in the 992 Cup class, being the #191 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup of Maria Thunderlight, was making good progress and she had overtaken the number #152 Ferrari 488 GT3 EVO of Astral Dash. Astral was a bit oblivious to the fact that the 992 Cup cars are quick in straight lines despite having less aero compared the 911 GT3 Rs, for example, Rusalka Swordlight in the #97 GT3 R. Astral wasn’t the only driver being caught out by fast androids, her brother, Danny had also been overtaken by the leader of the android division of the GT3 Class, the #52 Acura NSX GT3 of Krisandra Flamestinger who is also Cassandra’s android and Cassandra herself had overtaken Manic Speed at turn 9. It didn’t take long for the first session of chaos to commence as the #194 Porsche 992 Cup car of Azusa Iceblast went into the gravel at turn 12 on lap 11 and had to be pull out by a tractor. The #191 992 Cup car of Maria Thunderlight wasn’t aware of her car going into the gravel as she was the leader of the 992 Cup class. Luckily for Azusa, the Safety Car would not be needed as her car was closer to a crane to lift her stricken 992 Cup. Up front, meanwhile, Viral Velocity was still in the lead with Sonic Flash and Aria Blaze in second and third. Aria realised that Sonic’s Ferrari was not as quick as Viral’s and that he was, in her mind, getting used to how the 296 GT3 handles and controls, much like how Danger Dean is getting used to his 296 GT3. On lap 13, Aria passed Sonic and the Lamborghini was on a mission. The mission was to overtake the Ferrari of Viral. In the 992 Class, the #126 of Imogen Shadowstalker was putting in some good times and in some cases, on par with the GT3 cars. Her lap times from 17 to 22 were within the 1:50.8 to 1:51.2 Even though she was in 19th place and second in her class, her pace meant that she would be lapped by Viral on lap 29. What didn’t help Imogen was what Viral was lapping in the 1:48.5 to 1:49.3 range. Even though her 992 GT3 Cup was crusing, she knew she need to hurry up, especially since Danger Dean lapped the #106 Super Trofeo Huracan of Michiko Arasaka-Soulflame. On lap 25 a yellow flag was needed at turn 6 as the #51 Porsche 911 GT3 R of Cassandra Flamestinger missed her braking zone and slid into the gravel and luckily, she didn’t hit anything that would damage. Beatrice Radiance, after hearing that one of her fellow 911 GT3 R drivers went off the track after mistiming the braking zone, went off at the exact same turn, two laps later. Some may think it was either a mark of respect or to investigate if Cassandra was recovered from the gravel trap. 30 laps in the books and Danger was getting the hang of it, He managed to get up to 5th place behind Iris Dayspark after the first pit stops. With Viral, Aria, Sonic and Crimsonia still leading the race, he had gone 131.4 miles on his set of tyres and was making good headway. When Danger pitted on lap 32 for more fuel and tyres. His pit stop was like NASCAR-esque and was only down to 7th place behind Iris Dayspark. In a matter of a few laps, Danger snatch 5th place back from Iris. Danger realised that his pass on Iris was so timed to the exact moment when the #98 Porsche of Alexandra Swordlight went into the gravel and was beached at turn 5 on lap 40 which brought out the Safety Car. When it came in on lap 43, the top 5 was still Viral leading from Aria, Crimsonia, Sonic and Danger Dean. Sonic’s brother, Danger Flash in the #50 Ferrari 488 was still making good progress with 70 laps to go. He was catching with Danger Dean despite being in older machinery compared to 296 GT3s. He was in 6th place but he wanted more. When the #15 and #50 Ferraris crossed the line to start lap 46, Danger Dean defended valiantly from turn 1 to turn 3 on lap 48 when Danger Flash went by. Viral was still cruising and picking off lapped GT3 cars and the Super Trofeo Huracans. Danger Dean meanwhile, was still chasing Danger Flash for as long as he could and eventually when the race entered it’s 50th lap. He took 5th place back. But Danger Flash wasn’t going to give up that easily. On lap 52, Danger Dean still held from Danger Flash, but a close call from the #153 992 GT3 Cup Porsche of Amanda Thunderlight caused the Ferrari 296 to slow down and let Danger Flash by. 5 laps later, Sonic Flash was being under threat from Crimsonia and with the #22 Acura of Sonata Dusk nearly spinning out at turn 3 and Danger Flash’s 488 GT3 EVO getting closer to the leaders. Then the Safety Car came out on lap 61 after the #106 Lamborghini Super Trofeo EVO II of Michiko Arasaka-Soulflame crashed into the tyre wall after trying to make way for the 10th place Aston Martin of Manic Speed. Despite making a pit on lap 49, Viral was still leading the race from Crimsonia Dragonsfire and the #21 Mercedes of Twilight Sparkle. The Princess of Speed was becoming a real headache for the Danger Flash, who was now 4th while Danger Dean was in 5th. On lap 66, the #97 of Rusalka Swordlight was beginning to charge. After most of the field pitted including Viral, Danger Dean, Danger Flash and Iris Dayspark, Rusalka benefitted from this get up into 2nd place behind Sonic Flash and ahead of Twilight Sparkle. Her Porsche 992-generation 911 GT3 R was better the 991.2 generation GT3 R as, in her opinion it was more aggressive on the track. And it showed. For about a few laps, Rusalka was on the offensive and Sonic was looking in his rear-view mirror to the sight of the #97 Team Swordlight-liveried Porsche. The #21 Mercedes of Twilight Sparkle was getting closer as she was setting lap times within the 1:48.2 to 1:48.7 mark where both Sonic and Rusalka’s lap times from lap 67 to 71 was 1:48.6 to 1:49.1. Even Danger Dean, who was in 6th had set a 1:47.994 on lap 70. With 40 laps to go, Danger had benefited immensely from the fact that both Sonic and Rusalka made a pit stop and from the other benefit of running on fresher rubber. He was now in the top 5, in third place, with Twilght Sparkle leading from Viral Velocity and with Crimsonia Dragonsfire and Rusalka behind. It was still anyone’s race but unfortunately for some, they wouldn’t see the opportunity. On lap 78, the #50 Ferrari of Danger Flash pulled into the pits and retired from the race after his engine was not in the best of moods after his battle with Danger Dean. This became a mental note to the other drivers that they got to digging, try their luck because at Mystic Falls, trouble may find you. After leading the race early on, Viral scraped the wall of the pit lane after trying to make the #191 Porsche 992 Cup of Maria Thunderlight two laps down. This resulted in another pitstop as she damaged a few panels and with 35 laps to go, she was now in 10th place behind the #151 Ferrari of Danny Dean. Meanwhile, the #14 Lamborghini of Aria Blaze now in 6th place and trying to pass Rusalka. With two Formula Equestria champions in a battle, the fans were desperate to see the overtake. But Rusalka was not an easy opponent for Aria… or for the 7th place Aston Martin of Rainbow Dash. The Aston Martin was in the similar pace with Danger Dean and as result, the two-way battle became a three way battle. But the battle would be halted slightly as the Safety Car came out on lap 91 as the #98 Porsche of Alexandra Swordlight, who was Rusalka’s daughter, crashed into the tyre barrier. On lap 95, the race got back underway and when less 80 miles left. Danger was getting exhausted. He had driven over 400 miles in tense circumstances and having stayed in 2rd after a pit stop, he once again had the advantage of being on fresher rubber over Twilight. And with his Scuderia Ferrari teammate, Aria Blaze in 5th, he can just cruise to the finish. By the lap 100 came around, the only drivers in the 992 Cup class, Imogen Shadowstalker was overtaking the #111 Super Trofeo of Ricarda Earthwalker who had been 4 laps down because of on-track excursions with GT3 cars. One of them involving the #5 Ferrari of Sonic Flash. Up front, Danger Dean had took the lead from Twilight Sparkle with 10 laps to go and his pace meant that he would be untouchable. 6 laps later, Viral had capitalized from the 3 cars battle that had been going on since lap 91, she was now 5th and she hoped that she can catch Danger, even though the British Speedfreak now had a 20 second gap so maybe a podium was on the cards if Rusalka and Crimsonia faltered with 8 laps to go. 4 laps went by and she was in 4th after a inside pass on Rusalka Swordlight. On the final lap she tried a move on Crimsonia Dragonsfire but… it was pretty much over since Danger Dean had crossed the line to win the race. So she had to settle for 4th place as Twilight finished 2nd. > Velocity City 200 (Grid Universal Series) (Hypercar/LMGT1) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Many Le Mans Hypercars and even the LM-GT1 cars were being prepped for a hypercar-grand touring clash on the streets of Velocity City. The location was the Northwest Highway Loop, a 3.69 mile track that runs on the V-46 interstat with the cars are running northwards, some fans were on the otherside of the highway cheering on the driver. There were new faces on the grid and every fan on the circuit knew how to respect the new recruits. 1. #66 Callie Mayer, Alpine A424 LMH, 1:43.189 2. #4 Lara Carvalho, Mercedes-AMG ONE LM-GT1, 1:43.259 3. #15 Danger Dean, Ferrari 499P, 1:43.280 4. #24 Viral Velocity, Ferrari 499P, 1:43.379 5. #7 Adriana Novalight, McLaren Senna GTR LM-GT1, 1:43.417 6. #97 Rusalka Swordlight, Porsche 920 LMH, 1:43.479 7. #48 Rayfa Dawnlight, Audi R20 e-tron hybrid, 1:43.532 8. #21 Yume Tanaka, Mercedes AMG ONE LM-GT1, 1:43.579 9. #13 Oscura Galaxia, Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR PRO Hybrid, 1:43.742 10. #14 Aria Blaze, Lamborghini SC63, 1:43.810 11. #1 Nathan McKane, Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR PRO Hybrid, 1:43.828 12. #18 Valentin Manzi, Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR PRO Hybrid, 1:43.851 13. #89 Aiden Jackson, Alpine A424 LMH, 1:43.879 14. #23 Iris Dayspark, Mercedes-AMG ONE LM-GT1, 1:43.916 15. #85 Hailey Banefire, Lamborghini SC63, 1:43.994 16. #25 Starlight Glimmer, Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR PRO Hybrid, 1:44.041 17. #5 Sonic Flash, Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR PRO Hybrid, 1:44.137 18. #71 Devon Butler, Alpine A424 LMH, 1:44.249 19. #106 Michiko Arasaka-Soulflame, Lamborghini Terzo Millenio LMH, 1:44.481 20. #191 Maria Thunderlight, Porsche 963 LMdH, 1:44.593 21. #78 Jasmine Spark, Mercedes-AMG ONE, 1:44.628 22. #91 Beatrice Radiance, Porsche 920 LMH, 1:44.793 Nobody was expecting a rookie to on the front row and even outqualify the 6-time Formula Equestria champion. Many people doubted Callie Mayer to be severly outqualified by Aiden Jackson or even her brother that many people loved to hate, Devon Butler. But she proved them wrong by slotting her Alpine into pole position from Brazilian speed goddess of Lara Carvalho and Danger ‘the British Speedfreak’ Dean. As the green lights go on, Callie retained her lead but Carvalho wasn’t not gonna give up on challenging for the lead easily as they headed to turn 1, Danger lost a positon to Viral and Oscura Galaxia overtook both Yume Tanaka and her Formula Equestria teammate of Rayfa Dawnlight. Despite being a bit stiff from the crash she had a Blaze City, she still hung with both Adriana and Rusalka who were in 5th and 6th respectively. Oscura tried to get them both at the V-46 Highway section, The Porsche of Rusalka Swordlight defended like it was 5 lap sprint, even though the race was 54 laps long. Oscura knew she would have plenty of time to catch Rusalka. 2 laps later at turn 8, Carvalho passed Mayer for the lead and with the Liberty University liveried-Ferrari of Viral Velocity under pressure from the other Liberty University liveried-Ferrari of Danger Dean. The fans did have an exciting race on their hands. But the Northwest Highway Loop was sometimes tough on cars and on lap 5, it claimed it’s first victim. The #106 Terzo Millenio of Michiko Arasaka-Soulflame scrapped the wall on the straight between turns 6 and 7 after trying to pass the Aston Martin of Sonic Flash. But the android got going again as the damage was only cosmetic. Then one lap later, the real victim was claimed. The #85 Lamborghini of Hailey Banefire blew the rear right tyre which sent Hailey backwards into the wall at turn 15. This was the first Safety Car period of the race. But Hailey was still going despite the wing now off the car from the crash. The debris was cleared by lap 9, the race was underway again with Lara leading from Callie, Viral, Danger and Rusalka. But then at the highway section, Callie passed Lara, flat out at turn 11 and took a little bit of paint away from Carvalho’s Mercedes. With Hailey Banefire needing a miracle as she was a lap down after her pit stop, the race was still nerve-racking for the fans as they all didn’t know to support. Do they support Callie Mayer? Lara Carvalho, Danger Dean or Viral Velocity? Then on lap 13 disaster struck for Aiden Jackson as he had no power down the straights and losing a lot of time. Butler went past him which was basically salt on a wound and in a stroke of luck, he reached the pit lane before retiring from the race. It was revealed later that a piece of rogue debris was caught inside the A424’s engine with resulted in a strange sound and a decrease of speed. Devon was pleased to pass his former teammate but then the ghost of Aiden’s car jinxed him and his left front tyre blew and like Hailey Banefire 10 laps earlier, he had to go to the pits. “OK, Danger, Jackson has retired from the race and Devon is in the pits from a puncture.” Danger’s race engineer reported “Copy.” Danger confirmed as knew that it wasn’t Crimsonia’s voice this time. With 17 laps in the books, the Alpine of Callie Mayer had created a 10 second gap of Viral as Lara pulled into the pits for fresh tyres and dropped behind Rusalka Swordlight but ahead of Oscura Galaxia. Lara realised that Oscura doesn’t take any opportunity to run Danger off the track anymore as the crash in Blaze City made her end her 13 year long rivalry with Danger. Even Callie knew as Danger told her before the practice sessions. As the laps counted down it became clear that #66 Alpine had already won at this point and as the gap reached the 20 second mark because of Callie’s smooth driving whenever she leads a race. Danger and Viral were keeping a steady pace and Carvalho overtook Rusalka at turn 11. By lap 24, Lara realised that she was the only Seneca driver to challenge Callie as Yume’s gearbox was stuck in 4th gear for about 3 corners. Lara put the realisation behind as she had one job to do, overtake both Liberty University liveried Ferraris and Callie Mayer. Then on lap 26, Danger’s race enginner discovered something untoward with Danger’s Ferrari. “OK, Danger, there is a issue with the left rear tyre, we may need to pit for fresh tyres.” “What do you mean?” Danger replied, confused. “We think the degradation is too high.” His race engineer replied. “Oh!” Danger said in realisation “I was coming in anyway so I saved you some energy telling me to go to the pits.” As he came into the pit line, he wondered if at some point his true race engineer, Crimsonia Dragonsfire would speak on the radio as it was too formal for him and Crimsonia and Danger’s radio message was akin to NASCAR. On lap 31, Oscura wasn’t as fast as she was expecting to be as she was passed by Rayfa Dawnlight and Aria Blaze and dropped to 10th as Nathan McKane and Starlight Glimmer passed her. “Oh, sweet Tartarus on a pogo stick! I was gaining on the #25! It’s usually half way when I fall apart! I had a good result in qualifying and a good few laps then I go to junk!” Oscura complained over the radio. Danger was now in 4th after pitting on lap 27 and he soon realised that Callie was just untouchable. He wondered if he could get her to join Danger Motorsport as he did with Viral. Callie had been friends with the British Speedfreak since last year and she won 7 exhibition races in the GRID Universal Series as well as the Universal F2 Championship in 2022 and the Universal F3 Championship in 2021 with Trident. By lap 30, the Trident liveried Alpine still led the way from Viral, Lara and Danger. The Porsche 920 of Ruslaka Swordlight was still cruising despite some pressure from the Senna LM-GT1 of Adriana Novalight. After Callie pitted on lap 26 and was consistently in the 1:43.4 to 1:44.0 range in lap times, Adriana knew she had to overtake Rusalka at some point because she thinks she may be lapped by Callie by lap 39 if she didn’t hurry up. 2 laps later, Danger finally caught up with Carvalho and it was on. Danger tried to go in the inside of turn 14 but it didn’t work. He tried again at turn 16 and this time, it worked, Danger overtook Carvalho and was now in sight of Viral. Danger had closed the gap ever since his pit stop on the 26th lap. Despite his tyre being the same age as Callie’s were, it didn’t deter Danger from challenging for 2nd place as Callie was too far ahead of him. Luckily for Danger, the Safety Car came out again on lap 35 as Nathan McKane’s driveshaft on the Valkyrie AMR PRO broke due to severe porpoising on the highway section. Before the Safety Car came out, Callie’s lead was over half a minute from Viral but that lead was in pieces. And it didn’t help since from lap 31 to 34, Danger set a two new lap records, a 1:42.967 on lap 32 and 1:42.961 on lap 34, both of them were under Callie’s pole position time. It was Callie leading from Viral, Danger, Lara and Rusalka with Aria Blaze slingshot herself in 6th place and Yume, Starlight, Oscura and Maria Thunderlight in the top 10 on lap 39 with 16 laps to go and heading into turn 1, Danger went down in the inside and overtook both Viral and Mayer to take the lead of the but Callie didn’t give up and performed the switchback heading to turn 2. Rusalka was up to third after copying Danger’s move to pass both Viral and Carvalho, she realised she did make a little contact with Carvalho’s Mercedes and she coincidently pulled off a ‘Dartstrike’ of her own. For the next 3 laps, Danger and Callie were in a tight for the lead, with both the Alpine and the Ferrari occasionally swapping places and at the highway section on lap 43, Callie passed Danger and blasted into the distance. Danger exhaled and tried to conserve fuel for the remaining laps. Aria Blaze was now up in to 5th place after passing Lara Carvalho. The SC63 was on another level and it seemed that a podium was on the cards as Mayer’s Alpine was getting faster and faster, so much in fact that on lap 46, she broke Danger’s lap record by setting 1:42.951, a full hundredth of a second. In her first race full-time race in the Grid Universal Series, she had basically schooled the field by demonstrating her consistency, speed and determination By lap 49, it was basically over for either Danger or Viral to climb to the lead. Or was it? Heading towards turn 11, the #85 Lamborghini of Hailey Banefire crashed into the Armco barriers with 4 laps to go and that meant the Safety Car was out again. By the time the track was clear, this was it, the final 2 laps of the race. It was now either Danger or Viral’s chance to pass Mayer. Both tried to make a move on Callie at turn 5 but Danger’s idea to go out the outside didn’t work. They both tried to make a move into turn 14 and it really didn’t work for Danger as he brushed the wall and then on the last corners of the lap, to add insult to injury, one of the spark plugs in the 3 liter twin turbo V6 hybrid engine in Danger’s car decided to give up in protest and when Callie won the race, Danger crossed the line… in P3, he managed to hold of the charging Aria Blaze. But it was all Callie Mayer, she basically had dominated the race and with Carvalho in 5th, Rusalka 6th, Starlight 7th, Yume 8th, Oscura 9th and with Sonic Flash 10th, she was immediately on the radio. “Awesome job, Callie, awesome drive. You definitely deserved this win.” Her race engineer commended. “Ahhh, that was a good choice, Danger gave me a good battle, but in the end… I held him off.” Callie replied. “You deserve that trophy, Callie.” Danger was kicking himself about that brush on the wall on lap 53 and he couldn’t blame the mechanics for his engine issue. Those things happen to him and he had numerous experiences when his machinery failed him, even in GRID. He knew that there are plenty of races for him to redeem himself.
