By night,
By day,
By shine,
By dark,

We two sisters,
Of ancient
And power
Vow to protect,
Nor neglect
Again, Equestria

For with these forms
And morals unbound
We fly immortal
Together tethered
Our bodies reborn
And ourselves anew

Nightmares forever
Yet saints more than ever
Do what it takes
Destroy or create

No one can
Stop nor plan
Our new reign
Of service to all

Diarchy, once more
Beholden to none
The discord within
And harmony throughout

With love strong
More so
Than in a thousand years
After pain
And endless tears
Our hearts reforged
Sisters at last
Conjoined in union

Magic unleashed
No fear of the beast
We will serve and be served
To species of all
Enemies by vanquished
In cold fire
And hot shadows

None shall stop
Our new strides
Confidence and pride

Live in prosperity
Unbound from propriety
Future with clarity

Us at the helm
None shall under
Or over whelm

We decree
All we see
To be under rule
Subject to fate
As our new kingdom
All shall join

Welcome us
And find pleasantness
Peace and joy
Otherwise,
Be destroyed
With love of intent
And undying magic to bend

We say it again
With our love for each other
We share it with you
Or face,
Breaking days
And moons of nightmares
Good day,
Swell night

We hope our plight
We cause neither
Fight nor flight
But acceptance
It's all we ask

This we vow
As the last alicorns
Both, at last, unbound
For the good
And the equal bad

Our intent is pure
And our hearts just as so
Farewell, for now
We will see you soon

Come to decision
Decide with precision
And we hope
We can all agree

This be our plead
As sisters united
Forever, Equestria mighty

Embrace the warm
The sunlight's swarm
Of giving rays
And heat to all

I enjoy the inferno
This puzzling, pulsating
Sphere of fury
Of not my own
A divine object

I control
In constant vigil
That which brings
Our life eternal
Keeping me immortal

Why and how
I cannot tell
Of how I do it
Except it fuels me

Sun core, my core
Always burning for more
Nigh forevermore
A passion for us both
Creation
Destruction
A pleasant encore

I can giveth and taketh
For thou cannot
Kill an immortal
Impervious as the sun
If less hot

How I am
The chariot of light
Fated shine
This wretched world
I cannot say

Why I continue on
I can say
This world in control
To do as I please
Life itself
Before my crown

Every twelfth hour
Or so and such
As seasons pass
I once rose the sun
A thousand summers
Gone and alone

Why continue?
Care for these creatures?
When my sister was gone
And I was alone

Simply put
The sun gave me life
Will to carry on
Until the very day
We could meet

Every morning merry
A small sliver shone
Smiling rays
Unto me
Their goddess

Across the astral plane
I moved myself
Up and down
My emotions went

At last
After a thousand mornings
One the thousandth-first
My sister returnth
And elements corrupted
Morphing me with glee

I become whole
My fiery form unleashed
With this blast
From magic past
My glorious, inevitable
Deserved metamorphosis
Into who I truly
Was meant to be

With sister at side
Our furious alliance
Moral chains unsnapped
At long last

So prepare
Whether loyal or scared
For our rule
Never again
Shall the sun seem
Same or sane

Be nice to us
For our niceness to you
Hail your goddesses
Queens of this planet
Controls of
The bejeweled, entwined bodies

Celestia is dead
Our celestial prowess prows now
We reign
In my light
There is no out

You may ask
Why the dark?
What use is there in it?
Let me tell

The light, the day
To simply put
Are boring, overrated

So bright and shiny
Over which some whine
Whether for or against
It matters not to me

So full life
And love at that
The time for everyone
To do their activities

Ignore the dark, fear it so
Curse unknowns
Afflict them without
Attempting try to understand
Say all across the land

I grew sick
Of this treatment
Of being broken
And being beaten

And so my spite
Despite the respite
My sister attempted
It had been too late
For her to know

The mystery of dark
Compared to the overhyped sun
Is incomparable
Almost undesirable
So I shall try
To tell thou quite why

Under sunlight
On lunar white
The air glows
Insight from simple sight
Grows and grows

The wonderous
Mysterious and magical
So different from day
How can you not see it?
Why fear?
And cower and hide?

Breathe of cold winds
Billowing the mane
The crunching snow
Even in the winter’s dead
Much is to be found

Black abyss, beautiful
Indigo implications, gorgeous
Twinkling stars and shooting streaks
Encircling us around
Harmony for the soul
Especially mine

To be locked away
And shunned by all
Hurt me so
Rightful jealous grew
As I supposedly succumbed

But now my sister sees
Finally, she understands
For though wrong
Was I, she apologized
I struck her whims away
And now, she is
True to herself

All shall see
The night’s sublime
For eternal time
The moon strengthens
It’s grasps
In culture and mind

I had missed these nights
When on the moon
Though star surrounded
The winds were voided
Flying impossible,
My fine feathers
Wept in agony

So, believe
You should now
Why I shall be
The diarchs
In this new world

Luna was a lunatic
To never question
The unjust Celestia
And the attention
Given to her
Luckily, she broke
And I finally awoke

To bring the night
And blaze alight
With my sister’s help
Side by side

We shall rule and hold
Until the night
Fades into death
Us forgotten and cold

Farewell, For Now

This is our story
Ask not for more
We have said why
Expect mercy no further

I, the light,
I, the dark,
I, the day,
I, the night,
Bequeath our rule officially
Oh, subjects of ours

Citizens, forevermore
Embrace this last
Day of old
As we set
Across our journey
To spread our message

This party ends
The Summer Celebration night
We formally close
Next year shall come
And with it,
A merrier time
Then what occurred tonight

We grieve those lost
Bury your dead
The wretched six
Are problems no more
For our new Equestria

As we fly
Into this gentle night
We ask you to choose
Carefully we add
To join us or not
The choice is yours

The name will be
As we together dictate
“The Stellar Realm”
Stars, Sun, And Moon
Indivisible
With us two sisters

We journey know
Farewell for now
Prepare to understand
The consequences
When we return

All species
Deserve
To be served by us
Their sentience
Protected and preserved
Grpyhons, changelings,
Seapoines, yaks, and you,
Our little ponies

This is our vow
As those fated to alicorns
Chosen to be
By those higher above
To ascend for you
This is our purpose

We, once more
Farewell
We fly
Under our empyrean domain
Our glimmering manes
Shining us forth
Into this world
Meant for us
