A gentle breeze drifted through an open window, chilling up to room. Upon a great bed sat Princess Celestia, who was staring at the ceiling. The troubled Princess got up, hearing the knock on the door. "Come in" she said, holding a scroll in her hoove.Another mare walked in, slightly smaller than Celestia but with as much greatness to her. "Thou has called me sister?" Princess Luna asked, trying to read her sisters face. "Have you ever heard of a Princess Eve?" Celestia asked her little sister. "Why no, who is she?" Luna asked, puzzled. Celestia unrolled the scrolled, "Whoever she is and who she claims to be has sent me a letter. rather usual one too. It came through on a cloud" she said. Princess Luna nodded eagerly, "Read Tia” she asked and Celestia nodded. The Goddess looked down on the letter and started reading out loud.
" Dear big sisters Luna and Celestia,
I have been very lonely up here among the stars. I am so weary of being forgotten and wish for Ponies to know me once more. I hope you agree with me. It has been so long since I have written to you; I nearly have forgotten how to tell my clouds to find you! Carrying on with my normal jobs, controlling the stars and making clouds, I don’t even have the big crowd of people to service me anymore. Well some ponies still take care of me, but I’m not sure they won’t leave me as well. I shall arrive in Canterlot briskly when the moon starts coming up since Luna sleeps during the day. I hope you shall all greet me kindly, and I shall count off the minutes until I can see my big sisters again
Signed by her High Royal Highness Princess Eve, Roamer of the Stars and Walker of the Clouds. "
Princess Luna blinked not knowing what to say. Silence dragged on as they both drank in the information that the letter had delivered.
"I’m not the true owner of the stars-?" Luna began but Celestia starting speaking around the same time, "We both have a little sister named Eve-?" they two siblings looked at each other, yet again filling the room with silence.
"Well consider this Lu, who would make up such a lie? On top of that we weren’t always alone when we were fillies..." Celestia said. They both drifted off into their memories.
Blurriness came but then they were, as fillies.
"Tia, tia, do you know where I am?!" exclaimed a little Luna as she hid behind her hooves. "I don't know Lu, where are you," A smaller Celestia cried flying around he little sister. "No Cel, Cel! Look at me, I’m flying again!" shouted an even younger filly. Her eyes were like sparks, golden with a hint of blue. She had long dark aqua hair, straight yet it seemed to flow like a river down her back. Her body was silver, and it seemed to slightly shimmer. She was flying some off the ground and was delighted she promptly landed upside down on the ground. Celstia and Luna started laughing, pointing at the younger filly. "Na-na, Cel! Don't laugh at me. Someday I’ll be as great as you guys!" she pouted. Celestia and Luna flew over and hugged her, they both chimed toghter softly, "Don't worry E, youll soon soar" then they laughed toghter and all three fillies laughed and hugged each other.
Princess Luna looked up at Celestia, "You mean, Tia that just wasn't a friend or playmate? It has been so long" she started feeling guilty. No ordinary big sister would forget their little sister.’ Big sister' that word wasn't new to Luna, but when it was applied to her, it was a shock. The two princesses looked at each other. "We should at least welcome her with open arms" Celestia said and Luna nodded. Standing up, "Well goodnight sister. I shall go an look over the night. You rest and carry on with plans at the morning."

Princess Eve sat outside on her favorite chair, wondering if her sisters had gotten her letter yet. She stood up and looked around at the few busy servants making ready for her midnight snack, Trotting back in her starry palace she looked yet again in the mirror. It had become a habit long ago; she had been worried she didn't look like herself anymore. it was calming to look at her reflection. She was taller now and her hair even longer. She hadn’t really changed, except for her hind flank. This now stood a proud Silver cloud, her cutie mark. "Your Royal Highness?" called one of her servants, "Your 'Midnight Snack' is ready". Smiling at the thought of being with her sister caused a smile to burst on her face, even when she was dreading the awful Marigold supremes her chef always made.
