> Starlight’s Dimensional Drama > by Starlight Fan > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > The Loss > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- A hole sprouted from the outside grounds of the School Of Friendship and soon a giant mole had dug out of the ground with Sandbar, Yona, Gallus, Smolder, and Silverstream on it’s back, all tired and charred before it turned back into the reformed Changeling we all know as Ocellus. Though they were able to bring most of Equestria’s magic back, there was one thing that was on all of their minds. “S-She didn’t… oh Celestia, she didn’t actually get sucked in, did she?” Sandbar began panicking. “Sandbar, I hate to say it, but I saw it happen too.” Ocellus rubbed her front right hoof sadly. “Yona can confirm.” Yona nodded frantically. “Counselor Starlight… actually got sucked into a portal…” Gallus’ eyes were wide with shock. The students didn’t know how it happened, one minute they were helping evacuate students from the catacombs so they could get the artifacts to save the magic of Equestria, and the next second, Starlight is screaming for her life and getting sucked into a portal to another dimension. They tried to save her by using the artifacts but all they could do was bring back the magic. Starlight was gone. “At least magic is back.” Silverstream tried to brighten the mood but she could not have chosen a worse time. “Yeah! But at what cost?!” Smolder said angrily, “How are we gonna explain this to Headmare Twilight!” “You ruined everything!” Cozy Glow’s voice was heard from behind them, mane and tail with their tips burnt, “Now Twilight and her ridiculous friends can escape from Tartarus.” Right on cue, Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Spike all appeared, glaring furiously at Cozy Glow when they saw her which caused her eyes to go as wide as saucers before putting on a phony smile, “I mean… yay. All my friends are safe.” “You can drop the act, Cozy Glow! Your pen pal Tirek told us all about how he helped you suck up all that magic!” Applejack lectured furiously. “But I still don’t understand why.” Twilight said, hurt and betrayed by the child’s actions. Cozy Glow growled before smirking, “Why?! Because friendship is power! You might be the Princess of Friendship, but as headmare of this school, I can collect even more friends than you!” Twilight sighed sadly, “You're the one who doesn't get it, Cozy. Friendship is powerful, but power isn't why you make friends. I'm sorry I couldn't teach you that.” “You definitely taught us though.” Gallus said reassuringly, after all, he might as well soften the eventual blow that would soon come. “You can’t one bad apple think you failed.” Silverstream added kindly. “Besides, we couldn’t have stopped her if it weren’t for what you taught us about friendship.” Sandbar pointed out. “Oh yeah. Well what’s the point of friendship when you don’t HAVE all your friends with you?!” Cozy Glow snickered malevolently. The Young Six immediately widened their eyes at this, they knew exactly what she was talking about, while the Mane Six and Spike were confused. “What are you talking about?” Rainbow Dash asked angrily, already annoyed with the psychotic filly. “Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Do you not realize one of your bestest friends is missing when it’s right in front of you?! You’re more idiotic than I thought.” Cozy Glow said with nothing but pure joy. It took a few moments for Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity a bit to figure it out but to Twilight and Spike, it hit them immediately. “Starlight!” Twilight gasped in horror. “What did you do to her?!” Spike asked, nostrils flaring with rage, Starlight was not his bestest friend but they were very close, if Cozy had hurt her, he would not hesitate to advocate for a harsh punishment from Celestia. “Oh, all I did was trap her in a magic orb that sucked her into another dimension, nothing TOO serious.” Cozy Glow said not so innocently. “You did what?!” Fluttershy said, shaken from the core at what she just heard. “Where is she?!” Spike asked incredulously. “Heck if I know. I just knew the magic of Equestria would go somewhere.” Cozy Glow shrugged uncaringly. Twilight felt her life flash before her eyes when she heard that. Starlight Glimmer, her former pupil and one of her best friends in Equestria, was gone. Why? Why did she not see through Cozy Glow sooner? Why did she leave Starlight alone with her? Why?! “I see you’re speechless. I guess I got something out of my plan.” Cozy Glow snickered malevolently to which Spike breathed fire at her to make her back away. “Shut. Up.” Spike said lowly, fists forming with his knuckles shaking furiously. “Oh, and what are you going to do? Claw me to submission?” Cozy Glow said tauntingly. However, her bravado soon faded as Celestia, Luna, and Chancellor Neighsay made it to school grounds while royal guards flew everywhere and restrained Cozy Glow, much to her protest as she was led away from the premises. Celestia was the first to notice Twilight’s tearful gaze and softly approached her. “Twilight? Are you okay?” Celestia asked carefully. “I’m-I’m fine. I… need a minute.” Twilight smiled, though it was clearly forced as she teleported away from the scene and into her castle bedroom. Twilight then let herself cry, tears flowing from her eyes as she put her hooves over her face. She didn’t care that she left her friends on the field, she didn’t care if she looked unprofessional in front of her students and the princesses by leaving so suddenly, and she didn’t care for what would happen to Cozy Glow. All Twilight cared about was the loss that she just suffered. “She’s gone. She’s gone and it’s all my fault.” Twilight said sadly. Starlight didn’t know where she was, but all she knew was that it was dark and blurry. She tried using her horn to emit some light but all she got was a small bit of light. When her vision finally cleared, she realized where she was. She was in some sort of dark room with suitcases and a bunch of stuff everywhere. “Wh-Where am I?” Starlight whimpered to herself, she had no idea what was happening. She then thought back to moments earlier, she was trapped in Cozy Glow’s magic orb and the students came to save her. And then…. She fell in a portal. Starlight gasped, she was in another dimension? No, this couldn’t be right? This just couldn’t?! “Twilight! Spike!” Starlight called out in desperation as she ran across the room, she doubted she would find them but a gut instinct told her she could. She had to. “Please. Is any creature here?” Starlight begged quietly before letting herself break out into silent sobs, it finally dawned upon her. She was alone. Just when she was finally getting her life back together, she was back to where she began. All alone. Suddenly a gruff voice was heard speaking, “Who’s in here?” The door soon opened and out came a tall dark and muscular man dressed in a chef’s outfit. Starlight knew this was a human from her experiences in Sunset’s world but this human did not look like others. He too, was shocked by Starlight’s appearance. “A unicorn?” The man asked in shock, “I thought they were a myth.” “Who are you?” Starlight asked fearfully. “You speak too. Well, I’m Chef Norbert Hatchet, but my friends call me Chef but enough small talk. You’re coming with me.” The man known as Chef said angrily. “No wait, please. I can explain, I just need you to-“ Starlight began before Chef took out a pole and shot out a dart, hitting Starlight’s neck, making her woozy. “Calm down.” Starlight yawned before plopping on the ground, unconscious. Chef looked down at the sleeping mare and felt a bit of sympathy for her, the girl was clearly confused about what was going on and something told him that she wasn’t from here. “I gotta speak to Chris about this. He’ll wanna know about this… unicorn.” Chef said, clearly weirded out by the situation he was in. > Interrogations and New Arrangements > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Starlight once again, felt dizzy as she woke up, this time she was in some fancy compartment and when her vision cleared, she found that Chef and some white skinned human with baggy green pants and a blue shirt were looking over her. “Oh good. You’re awake. I was getting bored.” The smaller human said happily. Starlight soon saw she had been tied up and some ring had been placed on her horn. “Wh-What’s going on?!” Starlight asked fearfully before she received a shock and once it passed, she saw the small human holding a remote. “Calm down weird pony. You’re in my personal quarters. We just need to ask you some questions. You ARE from another dimension.” The man said. Starlight blinks when she hears this, so she raises an eyebrow, “How’d you know that?” “Unicorns don’t exist in this world. Plus you were first seen on this plane so… it wasn’t a stretch for me and Chris to assume you aren’t from here.” Chef spoke up. “Chef’s got a point dudette. So… can you tell us where you’re from? The sooner we get this over with the better.” Chris told the unicorn. Starlight sighed, it was best to comply with this Chris man’s orders, “I’m Starlight Glimmer. I’m from this dimension called Equestria. It’s a place that’s full of ponies. It’s a place that thrives off of magic.” “Alright. How’d you get here?” Chris asked. “Well… a pony by the name of Cozy Glow got her hooves on some ancient artifacts which made a magical portal that sucked me into this dimension.” Starlight explained awkwardly, she decided to leave out the part where Cozy Glow was a filly. The fact that she even got manipulated by a child was embarrassing for her. “Is there, like, anyway you can get back to your dimension… at all?” Chris asked curiously. “My magic barely works, plus I can’t open portals to other dimensions. I’m practically trapped here.” Starlight spoke sadly, tears starting to brim from her eyes. Chris seemed disturbed by the tears and waved his arms defensively, “Okay, okay. No waterworks please. I can’t deal with so much sappiness.” Chef just rolled his eyes at this remark. “Okay then, I have an idea. Chef, we need a private conference.” Chris spoke firmly before they moved away from Starlight and began to huddle. “What the heck do we do man? We gotta film the next episode tomorrow.” Chef said with a hushed tone. “Yeah. That’s what I’m trying to tell you. I’m thinking we start involving this Starlight in new challenges.” Chris whispered with a smirk. “What?” Chef asked incredulously, “People will lose their minds if they see her Chris. Are you out of your mind… well more than usual?” “Oh my mind is perfectly fine Chef. I was just thinking that the existence of a unicorn will totally make ratings skyrocket. People will be so interested in this show that we’ll last forever.” Chris smiled giddily. “Well how do you suggest we justify her presence?” Chef said in annoyance. “Easy. We’ll just say that she was exposed to some radiation in Japan. Given how insane our show is, the viewers will believe it.” Chris explained. “And the contestants?” Chef asked sternly. Chris stammered a bit before sighing, “I guess they have a right to know what’s really going on. They’re not as brain dead as they look.” Chef sighed before saying, “I guess we should do this. After all, she’s got nowhere else to go and we sure can’t let her go wandering around the Earth and causing a panic.” Chris nodded before turning back to Starlight and walking over to her, “Okay Starlight, here’s the deal.” Meanwhile, back in Twilight’s castle, the alicorn herself woke up from her bedroom and sighed, by now, her emotions had calmed down considerably since she heard the news about Starlight but she was still depressed. Twilight soon walked around the castle when she saw that Spike, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity were all sitting in the throne room. “Girls?” Twilight asked curiously, “What are you doing here?” “I let them in.” Spike explained solemnly, “I figured you could use some company after… y’know…” “Twilight, we know you well sugarcube and there’s no way that what happened to Starlight did not hurt you.” Applejack said stern, yet calm. “Of course it hurts, why would I deny that? Starlight’s one of my best friends and now because of me, she’s gone forever!” Twilight said, tears starting to brim from her eyes. “Darling, you have no reason to blame yourself.” Rarity said reassuringly, “Cozy Glow did this to her, not you.” “But if I had been more careful with Cozy Glow, I could have stopped her from getting as far as she did and Starlight would still be here and safe. What kind of Princess am I? What kind of friend am I?” Twilight said sadly. “One of the bestest friends in Equestria.” Rainbow Dash flew up to Twilight’s face as she spoke sternly. “Yeah! You can’t let this bring you down… completely.” Pinkie Pie added as bubbly as she could given the circumstances, “You still improved Starlight’s life while she was still here and affected a lot of creature’s lives positively too. Even Neighsay admits he was wrong about the school.” “Besides like you said in the Changeling invasion, she didn’t just fool you, she fooled everyone.” Fluttershy reminds the alicorn, “If you’re at fault, all of us are.” “I guess you’re right.” Twilight sighed, “But I still feel terrible. Starlight’s gone, and this time, it’s not just a fantasy.” “Wait what?” Pinkie Pie asked in confusion. “Twilight was stressing about what she had planned for Starlight in her graduation and she got carried away with the What Ifs.” Spike explained. “Ohhhhhhh.” Pinkie Pie said, now figuring it out. “Well, we should probably tell you this. We’re planning on having a memorial for Starlight.” Applejack spoke up, “Given everything that happened, we feel it’s fitting.” “We feel it’s warranted, for all we know, we’ll never see her again.” Rainbow Dash said awkwardly. “You’re right.” Twilight sighed sadly, “It’s what she deserves.” > Super Happy Crazy Fun Time Japan > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Starlight could not believe that it’s come down to this. So apparently, Chris and Chef are the co-hosts of this show called Total Drama World Tour, which is the third season of this reality show where fifteen contestants would soon be competing in the challenge in Japan. So the deal was Starlight could stay on the plane Chris and Chef were using if she would help out in challenges for the contestants. Starlight didn’t exactly like this, but given the circumstances, it was best she do this until she were to be rescued. That is if she would ever be rescued at all. She was currently waiting behind a wall for her cue since the contestants needed to know of her existence apparently to bring in the “ratings” as Chris calls it. She sighed, this would not be fun. Chris smirked, he just got done interrupting Harold and Tyler’s little rambling about pinball machine animes or whatever when he decided to make the big announcement, “Oh look. My own personal geek gong. Okay, so I need to make an announcement to you all. It has come to my attention that a certain surprise was found in Japan, naturally, I found it best to share it with all of you. Meet our newest crew member: Starlight Glimmer!” “What kind of name is that?” Leshawna asked incredulously but soon her answer was revealed when the lilac coated unicorn with the cutie mark walked to the scene with a stone-faced look. “Starlight, meet our contestants. In Team Victory, we have: Bridgette, DJ, Harold, Leshawna, and Lindsay, Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot has Alejandro, Izzy, Noah, Owen, and Tyler and finally with Team Amazon consists of Cody, Courtney, Gwen, Heather, and Sierra.” Chris introduces the entire cast to the unicorn. “H-Hi.” Starlight smiled sheepishly, clearly nervous about the fact that there was so many people staring at her. “Holy Pizza Pockets, it’s a talking pony!” Owen said, clearly in shock. “Aw, I love ponies and unicorns! Can I keep her?” Lindsay asked bubbly. “I’m not a pet!” Starlight cried out in offense, causing everyone to stare at her in shock. Soon the shock wore off and Courtney then spoke up, “There’s no way that this is an actual unicorn. It’s probably just someone really short in some costume. I mean seriously, she looks like she’s from a kid’s cartoon.” “Indeed. Here, allow me to remove this disguise.” Harold spoke smugly before grabbing Starlight by her mane and pulling it as hard as he can, much to her immense displeasure. “Hey! Hey! Easy on the mane!” Starlight cried out in pain. “Wait. You can feel that?” Bridgette spoke in shock. “Well of course I can feel it. And if I weren’t a unicorn, could I do this?” Starlight asked angrily before flashing her horn and levitating Harold off of her and back to his team, which left everyone shocked once again. There was no doubt about it now, this was a real unicorn. “OMG. And here I thought that this show couldn’t get any better.” Sierra squealed, jumping up and down. “Th-This should not be possible. Unicorns aren’t real! They’re a myth!” Courtney spoke furiously. “Hey Noah, is that the unicorn you told me about?” Izzy asked the bookworm happily. “That was a joke Izzy!” Noah snapped, “I didn’t think such a thing actually exists!” “Well this is a real unicorn alright and get used to her presence, you’ll be seeing her more often.” Chris smirked mischievously. “Where did she come from anyway?” Cody raised an eyebrow. “She had a little run-in with some radiation and well… she became sapient and turned into this. Yep, that’s what happened.” Chris lied through his toothy smile, “But enough about that. Today’s challenge is basically a gigantic version of pinball. Each team must have a volunteer go inside a hamster ball and roll around the machine to get points. And a special local surprise will be joining you in there as well. So teams, select your ball guy or gal.” “We choose DJ.” Leshawna said nonchalantly. “We do?” DJ asked in fear. “Coolio. Here’s your pinball buddy.” Chris said happily as he held up a panda. “A panda? No! Remember what happened back in Egypt with that mummy dog, it totally exploded.” DJ said fearfully. “That did NOT happen. It disintegrated, it most definitely did not explode.” Leshawna reminded her friend. “I remember when you knocked a poor little birdie out of the sky.” Lindsay recalled. “Exactly. Terrible. I think that dog might have cursed me.” DJ explained before the panda suddenly began attacking him. “Aw, cute. Team Chris?” Chris spoke up. “I’m allergic to panda dander.” Noah spoke awkwardly, clearly lying, “I get hives.” “What he said.” Tyler nodded. “I’ll do it. For my team.” Alejandro smiled charmingly. “Wicked. Incoming.” Chris said before throwing the panda at Alejandro but he caught it and began speaking to it soothingly, “Why hello handsome creature. May I scratch your ears or get you a tasty cookie.” Every girl on Team Victory practically swooned at that scene while Starlight looked confused, how did he do that? “Alright. Team Amazon.” Chris said. “Gwen’s face could use some remodeling.” Heather pounded her fist. “Nice. I hate to tell you this but we’re on the same team, so you might wanna turn the witch switch back to off.” Gwen said angrily. “Would you girls like some leadership. I’d be happy to-“ Courtney began before Cody had enough. “Stop bickering!” Cody snapped, “I’ll do it.” “Okay. You might wanna hold on to your horses Cody, because you’re riding with our new buddy Starlight.” Chris smirked before shoving Starlight in front of the geek. “Please don’t hurt me.” Cody stammered as he backed away nervously to which Starlight sighed at. “Let’s just get in the pinball.” Starlight told him before walking off sadly. Cody just looked sympathetically at Starlight’s direction before following her. Soon Chef pulled the slingshot and fired the pinballs into the machine to which Cody and Starlight began running on fearfully as the ball made impact with the bumpers. “Gah! What is this horrible place?!” Starlight asked in horror as she clung onto Cody’s side fearfully, much to his shock. Soon they fell into a small hole before being launched into the air and back onto the ground, and finally they made it to the exit of the machine where the contestants were waiting for them. The ball soon opened and they all saw that Starlight was still clinging onto Cody. “Ooh. Cody you sly dog you.” Heather smirked mockingly, “Though shouldn’t you be chasing after girls your own species?” “Ugh. It’s not like that. She was just scared.” Cody grunted in annoyance which alerted Starlight to get off of him. “I’m so sorry.” Starlight said full of remorse, “I’m so sorry I’m making such a bad impression, I-I should go.” She then teleported away with what little magic she still had, right now Chris didn’t need her help with the challenges so she had the rest of the day to just be alone. “Whoa. What’s her deal?” Tyler asked, a bit concerned. “If you ask me, she has quite the guilt complex.” Noah rolled his eyes, “She honestly handled this new experience as you’d expect her to.” Soon DJ and Alejandro had gotten out of the pinballs of their own, the former had scratches all over and was carrying an unconscious panda while the latter was unharmed, and so was his panda. “And with that. Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot wins the first round with the most points, Team Victory you take second, and Team Amazon is last.” Chris said happily, though he didn’t get much reaction, everyone was still trying to figure out what was going on. “Ugh. You guys are no fun. Cut to commercial break.” Chris groaned before the cameras turned off, “Thank you.” Chris then took a deep breath and spoke up, “Everyone. I have not exactly been entirely honest with all of you. This unicorn we found isn’t from Japan and she wasn’t dipped in toxic waste.” “I had a suspicion that this was the case.” Harold said, “Japan doesn’t typically have toxic waste everywhere. If anything, I doubt it would make ponies talk.” “I agree, just without all the science stuff. It seemed way too weird.” Gwen added her input. “So if she’s not some toxic waste pony, what is she?” Leshawna asked with a raised eyebrow. “She came from another dimension, I think it’s called Equestria…” Chris explained, clearly weirded out about the whole ordeal, “Some pony villain trapped her here and she doesn’t have all her magic soooooo, we kept her around to help with challenges.” “So instead of trying to get her back to her dimension, you instead just made her your servant. And here I thought you weren’t anymore disgusting.” Courtney said angrily. “Oh trust me, if there’s a way we can get her home, we will. Mostly so we don’t cause an apocalypse with her existence on Earth. Until then, we’re stuck with her.” Chris added sternly, “Now let’s get ready for part two of the challenge, and remember, no one is allowed to know about her true origins, if they do, there will be chaos, and not the good kind.” Starlight just let herself huddle into a ball and kept whimpering as she stayed behind the cargo boxes. This can’t be her home. Why couldn’t she just go back to Equestria? Why couldn’t she just leave? It dawned upon her that she would never see Twilight, Spike, Sunburst, Trixie, Maud, or anyone else she loved ever again. She then felt a shadow loom above her and turned to see it was one of the contestants, it was the large blonde with the white shirt with a blue leaf. she believed his name was Owen. “Can I help you?” Starlight asked sadly. “Well… I don’t really need anything. I… actually came to see you.” Owen explained awkwardly, “You didn’t come back after the challenge ended so I volunteered to go find you.” “I’m surprised you care.” Starlight admits solemnly, “After all, I had those major freak outs today on your friends.” “Well not all of them are my friends.” Owen smiled sheepishly, “Heather’s kinda mean, but seriously, I can’t blame you for what happened, some people aren’t really the best under pressure, plus Chris told us what’s really going on with you.” “So you know I’m…” Starlight began before Owen interrupted. “From another dimension full of magical talking ponies? Yeah, we do.” Owen giggled. “Well, at least you know. Even if I was justified in my emotions. I still feel bad for how I acted.” Starlight sighed. “Ooh, I know. How about I take you to loser class! Team Victory and my team are there since we lost this round. You can start fresh with them.” Owen suggested giddily. “I’m not so sure I should-“ Starlight began before Owen picked her up and began running out the cargo hold and soon she found herself in loser class being held up by a jolly Owen. “Hey guys! I found Starlight!” Owen said joyfully much to Starlight’s embarrassment. “Uh… h-hi guys.” Starlight waved awkwardly. “Oh hey girl. We thought you’d never come back.” Leshawna said with a welcoming smile. “Ha ha. I can see why.” Starlight laughed nervously. “You don’t need to be scared you know. We don’t judge inter-dimensional creatures.” Tyler smiled reassuringly before looking at Noah in confusion. “You don’t judge, right?” Tyler asked the bookworm. “I’ve seen a unicorn on a cartoon before. The only shocking thing about this is that she actually exists.” Noah rolls his eyes. “Yeah. We don’t judge.” Tyler said firmly. Owen soon set Starlight down as she walked towards the cast and she breathed a sigh of relief. “Well that’s good to hear. Also… I’m sorry I snapped earlier today.” “Water under the bridge. Given the circumstances, how you reacted is understandable.” Alejandro said with a calm smile. “Trust us. We don’t blame you for how you reacted.” Bridgette reassured her. Starlight smiled before realizing a certain someone was missing. “Did Harold get voted off?” She asked curiously. “Yeah. He said something about sacrificing himself for his honor. Weird boy.” Leshawna shook her head before sighing fondly, “Though I will admit, I am gonna miss him.” “Aw, I’m sorry.” Starlight said sadly. “It’s okay girl. This happens all the time in this show.” Leshawna shrugged with a grin, “I’ll see him soon when the show is done.” Starlight was starting to brighten up a bit, these people seemed nice, if not a bit strange given how she just spotted Izzy climbing into a luggage compartment, but maybe she won’t be as miserable as she thought. > Meeting Team Amazon > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Starlight found herself stirring awake, and saw that she was lying next to Alejandro and Owen. “Sleep well?” Alejandro asked with a grin. “A little better than my first night here. That’s for sure.” Starlight admits with an awkward smile, still getting used to being around this new crowd. “Your only company was Chris and Chef last night. I think almost anything is an improvement.” Noah snarks, eliciting a chuckle from Starlight. Suddenly Chris appeared from the entrance and spoke up, “And how is everybody back here? That is what I would ask if I cared.” “So what do you really want?” Bridgette asked in annoyance. “Well Starlight needs to check up on our winners from yesterday back in first class.” Chris explained with a smirk. Starlight shrugged and decided to do so, after all the company was nice but it would be good to spend some time in first class. Getting to know Team Amazon better might also help her adjust to this new world. As Starlight looked to the entrance of first class, she took a deep breath to compose herself and walked inside the golden room in shock. She may have lived in Twilight’s castle for a good while, but she didn’t expect this place to be so beautiful. “Uh… hey guys…” Starlight chuckled nervously as Sierra, Cody, Gwen, Courtney, and Heather turned to the unicorn who just spoke.  “Oh. So I wasn’t hallucinating? She actually exists.” Gwen raised an eyebrow towards Courtney who nodded in understanding. “I know that I may have left a… pretty weird impression on all of you and I feel like I should apologize for that.” Starlight admits sheepishly. “Meh, I could care less. Seeing Harold get levitated on his pancake butt was hilarious.” Heather shrugged with a smirk, seeing as how Starlight’s actions never harmed her personally. “Considering all the crap you’re going through, it does make sense you’d be so upset.” Gwen smiled warmly at the unicorn, who smiled back, glad that someone was understanding of her plight. Suddenly Sierra zipped towards Starlight with an enthusiastic grin, “OMG hi there! You’re Starlight, aren’t you?!” Starlight was getting uncomfortable from the close distance between her and Sierra, “Uh… yes. That’s me.” “I just have so many questions about your world. I mean, what is Equestria anyway?” Sierra asked, hyper focused on getting knowledge about Starlight’s dimension. Starlight wasn’t sure how to answer that, Sierra seemed harmless enough but she wasn’t sure if she felt safe talking about her home in this place given everything was being recorded with cameras. “If you’re worried about the cameras, Chris said he’d edit out anything to do with Equestria.” Cody said, somehow reading Starlight’s mind on the situation. “Okay… well… Equestria is a very bright kingdom populated mostly by ponies such as myself, and it’s main source of power is magic.” Starlight explained sheepishly, “There are two alicorn princesses that have ruled Equestria for a thousand years. Princess Celestia is the Princess Of The Day and raises the sun, while Princess Luna is Princess Of The Night and raises the moon. Most recently, two other alicorns have gained their own titles, Princess Cadence rules the Crystal Empire and Princess Twilight Sparkle is the Princess Of Friendship. Together, they rule side by side and defend Equestria from all evil.” “Well they certainly did a crappy job if you got banished to another dimension.” Heather remarks sarcastically, to which Starlight looked down sadly at. Everyone else in the room glared at Heather for what she said to which Heather gave a nervous frown at and harshly added, “What?! I’m just speaking my mind. If one of these threats were able to send Starlight here, they are clearly terrible at keeping the safety of their subjects in check.” “But why would the villain go after Starlight anyway?” Cody raised an eyebrow inquisitively, “It makes no sense considering she’s not a princess.” Starlight soon felt all eyes on her again and so she took a breath and confessed, “I’m… close friends with Twilight. I was in the way of their plans to drain all the magic from Equestria and they decided to get me out of the way immediately.” “Ouch.” Gwen cringed awkwardly, to which all of Team Amazon stared in silence at. The tension was so thick, you could cut it with a knife. Sierra decided the silence was too uncomfortable and spoke again. “So how close would you consider yourself to be with Twilight?” Sierra smiled brightly, “Really close or reeeeeeeeeally close?” Starlight’s face immediately turned red at what Sierra was implying before Heather groaned at Sierra’s teasing, “Ugh! She’s clearly just friends with this Twilight Sparkle alicorn! She wouldn’t have said it otherwise.” Heather rolled her eyes. Starlight shook off her initial shock and spoke up, “Yes, Heather had it right, we are just friends.” Tears began to pool her eyes, “Best friends even. Though… I doubt I’ll ever see her again.” Starlight lowered her head sadly, making Cody and Gwen share a look of sympathy while Courtney and Heather felt awkward about seeing this. Sierra gulped, realizing she probably made the situation worse. Suddenly Cody had a smile on his face, as if a realization occurred to him. “What’s saying you won’t see her again?” Cody walked up to the weeping unicorn with a kind smile. Starlight sighed before answering, “Well, I’m trapped in an alternate dimension with barely any magic in me so it’s not exactly looking good for me.” “But this Equestria you speak of is a world that thrives off of magic, isn’t it?” Cody reminded Starlight which made her eyes perk up. “That is true.” Starlight admits before asking, “What are you trying to say?” “I’m saying that if Equestria has a bunch of magic at its disposal and if your friends really care about you, then they’re totally gonna fight tooth and nail to get you back.” Cody said happily, to which Starlight found herself smiling at. Even despite her past, Twilight and her friends have shown that they do care about her and that they would stick by her side no matter what. If anybody could get her back, it was them. “Maybe you’re right.” Starlight softly smiled. Soon the seatbelt warning started flashing and Chef’s voice was heard through the intercom. “We got some nasty air bumps, lock your butts to a seat. Over!” Starlight immediately snapped out of her thoughts and ran for a seat, she found herself and Cody sitting next to each other and strapped a seatbelt on, using her magic. Despite the shaking of the plane, Starlight stared at the window, not caring about what was currently going on, but wondering if and when Twilight would come back. > Anything Yukon Do I Can Do Better Part 1 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Currently Starlight was standing behind Chris in the snowy lands of the Yukon, as the contestants shivered near the starting lines. She was a little cold, but since she had fur, she was able to bare it. The same could not be said for the humans in front of her. “Um, hello. Where are our jackets?!” Heather asked incredulously. “Relax. I ordered coats for everyone.” Chris smiled enthusiastically, much to the elation of the contestants but Chris then continued with, “They won’t be ready for weeks but when they arrive, I’ll be sure to hand them out.” Soon Courtney suggested that they all huddle for warmth. Starlight watched as Cody tried to make a move on Gwen and fail miserably by being pushed into Sierra, and then Lindsay, Leshawna, and Izzy glomp themselves onto Alejandro. ‘Sorry, isn’t Izzy Owen’s girlfriend?’ Starlight thought to herself in disbelief before getting herself to calm down, noticing Owen didn’t seem to have a problem with the ordeal and was instead cuddling Noah. Izzy probably didn’t mean to cause trouble anyway. As Chris was delivered his cocoa by Chef, Starlight noticed Alejandro give a smirk towards Bridgette who seemed to smile back. Starlight gave a confused expression at the scene, what was going on? Her thoughts were interrupted by Owen sniffing the coffee in Chris’ hands gleefully asking, “You gonna finish that?” “Of course he is. It’s Chris’ favorite drink.” Sierra said, running up to the scene. “Wrong, it’s-“ Chris began before Sierra added, “Second only to tomato juice.” “That’s not on the fan sites, how did you-“ Chris began pensively before Sierra answered. “I went to your high school and interviewed your old teachers for the unauthorized biography I’m writing. They said-“ Sierra began before Chris covered her mouth fearfully, honestly Starlight couldn’t blame him. “Okay, okay, moving on! Crossing the icy river in Canada's frozen tundra used to be easy, back when the river was frozen solid. But thanks to global warming, Earth is becoming more interesting and by interesting I mean deadly." Chris explained to the cast, "Today's challenge is called Total Drama: The Icicle! Teams must make their way across this watery chasm by jumping from ice floe to ice floe. First team member across, must make their way to the dog sleds on the far shore and become the dog, pulling the sled all the way to the finish line as you grab the rest of your team along the way at marked meeting points. Sleds are first come, first serve, so move fast.” “What is the reward for this challenge?” Heather asked the host angrily. “Did I sayyyyyyy reward?” Chris asked back teasingly. “We have already had three eliminations. We’re overdue.” Heather reminded him. “It’s gotta be a reward. There isn’t enough of us for Chris to cut every episode.” Noah said factually. “Yeah, but we find teams try harder in eliminations so this year there is no set routine. Any challenge can end in reward or elimination and you won’t know until I tell you.” Chris revealed with a cackle, much to the contestants’ disappointment. Starlight looked on from the skies at the icy waters as the contestants were racing to the other side of the field, her job was to make sure none of the contestants drown but all she was to do was save them from drowning and drop them off at the nearest ice floe. So far the only one who seemed to fall off their ice floe was Tyler, but even if he was in the water, he wasn’t drowning so she left him alone for now. She looked forward to see that Izzy was doing backflips on the ice floes, Leshawna hopping over them easily, and then her eyes stopped upon Owen and Cody being surrounded by a polar bear in front of them in the water trying to lean their ice floe towards him. Starlight was about to intervene with her magic when suddenly an ice block flew at the polar bear’s face. “Bad polar bear!” Starlight looked to see that Sierra was behind them and bouncing an ice block in her hand, “I’m not about to write an obituary on my Cody blog. GOT IT!” Once again, Sierra was kinda creepy but hey, her plan seemed to work out… until the ice floe fell over and Owen and Cody fell into the water. “Oh! I’m coming Cody!” Sierra cried fearfully before picking up a fish from underwater and using it to start paddling towards him. Starlight then heard screams from behind her and saw Bridgette slipping on an ice floe where Alejandro was but thankfully, the latter caught her. Bridgette seemed to say something to Alejandro but she didn’t really catch it but she did hear Alejandro say, “My mother raised a gentleman, teams are irrelevant.” Starlight then caught Bridgette gasp in shock, and frown with… longing. It was clear that Bridgette had some attraction to Alejandro, so Starlight supposed it made sense. After that, she watched Alejandro and Bridgette continue to go through the water together when Alejandro held out a hand for Bridgette to guide her. Bridgette seemed reluctant before jumping forward, causing her and Alejandro to collide on the ground and accidentally kiss. Bridgette immediately pulled away with a gasp and began blushing furiously, “Uh… thank you for catching me.” “Mmm, thank you for kissing me.” The Spaniard replied happily. The two then got up and Bridgette immediately spoke up, “That was an accident.” “One man’s accident is another man’s treasure.” Alejandro said charmingly which made Bridgette even more flustered. “I kinda have a boyfriend.” Bridgette looked away sheepishly. “You have a boyfriend or you… kinda have a boyfriend?” Alejandro decided to press on, leading Bridgette to stammer incoherently. ‘She’s probably just worried about having an attraction to someone while still dating her boyfriend. I guess that’s understandable, but as long as she doesn’t act on it, it’s fine but what’s up with Alejandro? That question he made does raise some red flags’ Starlight thought to herself. Starlight then turned her attention to Cody stammering as he was beginning to drown in the freezing waters. She began to panic, seeing if there was an ice floe she could put him on. When Starlight saw Sierra still paddling, she used her magic to levitate the geek onto the floe the fangirl was using. “Oh dear Cody, if one of us drowns, I want it to be me.” Sierra cried dramatically as she held onto him. Starlight didn’t pay attention to what Cody said and turned to the other side of the river, Alejandro was carrying Bridgette to the snowy field, causing him to stare at Bridgette deeply with a smile, to which she returned. Bridgette seemed annoyed with him at first, but then Alejandro latched onto her and presumably said something sweet because there she was swooning again. “What is he trying to accomplish?” Starlight whispered to herself in annoyance. She didn’t know it yet, but there was certainly something off about Alejandro. > Anything Yukon Do I Can Do Better Part 2 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- At this point, Starlight knew that Chris McLean was just lazy. Originally he was supposed to drive the snowmobile to check on the contestants at the meeting points but nooooooooooooo, he needed to refill his cocoa, so Starlight was stuck with doing his job. She supposed she couldn’t really complain, this task was at least bearable and her fur made it so she wasn’t suffering. All she knew right now was that DJ was pulling the sled for Leshawna, Courtney was pulling for Heather, and finally Tyler was pulling for Izzy who was covered in toxic waste. Honestly, that girl might be more insane than Pinkie Pie. She followed the path of the meeting posts, so far she just passed Gwen who seemed to be doing fairly well for herself, after that she passed by Cody and Sierra, with the former looking quite frosty at the moment. She really did not envy Cody right now. So far, nothing of note happened that Starlight really needed to interfere in so she let things go by. Little did Starlight know, she was in for quite a surprise. Alejandro was just cruising through this challenge effortlessly right now. He was pretty much flirting with Bridgette and helping her during the challenge to increase Bridgette’s trust in him and she was foolishly falling into his temptations which was very good for him. Right now, he had just given her his shirt to “keep her warm”. ’Ha, such a cliche romance tactic, which is perfect for this girl.’ Though as Alejandro was scouting the field for his team, he had something on his mind. That unicorn Starlight Glimmer was a very interesting creature. After all, unicorns aren’t exactly common in Earth. He was not exactly worried about Starlight interfering with his gameplay, the best she could do was interact with the players, and even then, she had to keep their secrets but he got the feeling that there was more to this unicorn than he knew of. He then spotted his teammates heading over to the meeting point. Excellent, now to finish what he started. “I guess this is my ride, but… I can’t leave you all alone.” Alejandro said, pretending to be devastated. “Go on.” Bridgette smiled longingly as she handed him back his shirt, “I’ll race you to the finish.” “I think we got enough time for one more accident.” Alejandro smirked seductively. Bridgette seemed reluctant but she began leaning in as Alejandro looked at the pole behind him with a smirk. Hook, line, sinker. Heather was glad to finally have picked up all her teammates, not because she enjoyed their company or anything but now they had a good chance of winning the challenge. Though there was something else she needed to get off her chest. Starlight was definitely an odd case to the Queen Bee, she suddenly came from another dimension out of nowhere and based on what the unicorn told them, Equestria was a dimension full of ponies ruled by four alicorns. Heather honestly couldn’t believe how incompetent those so-called princesses were if they were able to let Starlight get banished to this dimension but it did get her thinking, some sort of villain banished Starlight here and who’s to say it would be the last unexpected surprise this show would bring. “Hey Amazons, listen up!” Heather commanded angrily getting her whole team’s attention, “I’ve been having some concerns given the whole Starlight situation. If she was able to come to our dimension all of a sudden, then what are the chances another unexpected surprise comes here?” “Uh… given what Starlight said, she was likely the only victim of this attack.” Gwen rolled her eyes. “Whatever, I’m just telling you all to be on high alert from now on because we are not going to be held back in challenges because of some voodoo nonsense.” Heather scoffed. To say Starlight was surprised when she found Bridgette’s tongue stuck to a pole was putting it lightly. She immediately stopped her snowmobile and spoke in concern, “Whoa. How the heck did this happen?” “I was kissing Alejandro, and somehow the pole got in the way.” Bridgette explained, but her voice was muffled due to the pole. “Sorry, but I cannot understand a word you’re saying.” Starlight sighed sadly. Suddenly Starlight heard Chris’ voice through her earpiece, “Starlight, we haven’t had a song yet. I need you to get Bridgette to sing.” “Right now?! Are you serious?!” Starlight asked incredulously, “I can’t even understand what she’s saying!” “I never said the song had to be good.” Chris said uncaringly from the earpiece. Starlight grumbled before taking out a remote Chris gave her and pressed a button releasing a musical chime. “Just start singing.” Starlight sighed. (Song begins: Stuck To A Pole by Bridgette) “The strings of my heart are a tangled mess! It's beating so hard, it's jumping outta my chest! I tried to fit two men in my soul! Oooh, soul! I ended up stuck to a pole!” Bridgette sang in dismay, before continuing, I got stuck! Should've ducked! Worst of luck! Stuck, stuck to a pole! “I fell for every little thing that he said! And when I closed my eyes, he jumped on a sled! He's moved on, I'm still stuck in this place! Would somebody pour warm water down my face?!?” Bridgette begged fruitlessly. “I got stuck! Should've ducked! Worst of luck! Stuck, stuck to a pole! Stuck, stuck, stuck to a pole!” Bridgette finished in despair. (Song Ends) Starlight clapped her hooves with an awkward smile, “Great job Bridgette. I did not understand any of that song but I know you poured your heart into it.” “I mean it. Pour water on my face.” Bridgette begged through the pole. Starlight looked at the water bottle she had, while the water would certainly help Bridgette’s situation, she couldn’t exactly interfere with challenges. “I’d love to help you, but I can’t interfere in challenges unless it’s a life or death situation and in your case… you’re pretty much not at risk.” Starlight sighed miserably, “I’ll tell Chris where to find you if you’re not out of this.” Starlight then drove the snowmobile off, looking guiltily at Bridgette’s saddened gaze. She felt bad but what else could she do? As expected, Team Victory ended up losing the challenge thanks to Bridgette being stuck to a pole and being left behind. First class ended up going to Team Chris due to Owen and Tyler getting the sled to speed up enough to get first place. Starlight eventually did use hot water to get the pole off of Bridgette but her tongue was still frozen and no one could really understand her which was sad, but at least the pole was gone. Starlight was now at the elimination ceremony room where Team Victory all sat, Chris told her that Starlight needed to be present for elimination ceremonies to increase ratings. Her job was to explain to contestants why they might be getting eliminated for dramatic tension using the information Chris gave her. “I have peanut filled barf bags for the three of you who get to stay. And now Starlight will explain to you all why you could be leaving today.” Chris smirked. “Okay…” Starlight gulped before reading off the information given to her on her script, “Leshawna, you could be on the chopping block tonight for your plan to have your teammates run to the finish line instead of stopping at every meeting point. Given what happened today, that plan did not work.” “Hey, don’t get up in my case. Bridgette’s the one who kissed a pole!” Leshawna scoffed angrily. “Funny you mention that actually.” Starlight awkwardly smiled at the Soul Sista before turning to Bridgette, “Bridgette, you basically spent yourself stuck to a pole instead of getting to the finish line, costing your team the win.” Bridgette looked dejected but couldn’t seem to argue with what Starlight was saying. “DJ, from what I heard, you cried so much that your tears froze your eyes shut.” Starlight said, a little weirded out by that to which DJ just looked ashamed, his eyes still frozen shut. “Okay, now that you all know why you could be eliminated. Barf bags go to Lindsay and Leshawna.” Chris said happily, passing barf bags to both ladies before giving a mischievous grin to both DJ and Bridgette. … … … “The last one safe is DJ.” Chris said as he threw the bag to DJ. “I’m not cursed!” DJ cheered before realizing how that sounded and turned to Bridgette, “I mean… sorry Bridgette.” Bridgette then began walking towards the exit before Chris spoke up, “Bridgette? Any final words?” “Yes. Alejandro. He’s evil. He’s pretending to be-“ Bridgette began with her voice still muffled before Chris got bored and tossed Bridgette the parachute, causing her to fall out the plane much to Starlight’s concern. “Is she going to be okay?” Starlight asked the host. “Relax. She caught it. She can strap it on.” Chris waved off her concerns, though it did little to help Starlight. “Do any of you have any idea what she was saying?” Starlight asked the Victory members who shrugged. “No idea girl. I can hardly understand her.” Leshawna admitted. “Just checking.” Starlight sighed before walking off, feeling something wasn’t right about Bridgette’s elimination. Why did she get stuck to that pole? She soon found herself running into Alejandro who smiled politely at the unicorn. “Ah, Starlight. How was your task of hosting the elimination ceremony?” Alejandro asked curiously. “It went fine for my first time.” Starlight shrugged dismissively. “Am I allowed to ask who was eliminated tonight?” Alejandro asked curiously. Starlight found no reason not to, Chris didn’t have any rules against talking about who got eliminated. “Bridgette was voted out.” Starlight told the Spaniard. “Ah yes. Her tongue got stuck to a pole. She accidentally slipped and she fell into it, getting her tongue caught in the process.” Alejandro nodded solemnly, “I tried to help her but I had to win the challenge for my team.” ”I see. That explains what happened. I’m heading to economy class. Congratulations on winning the challenge.” Starlight began walking off and once she was out of sight, Alejandro smirked. “Congratulations indeed.” Alejandro snickered to himself. > Melancholy Mornings > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- In loser class, Team Amazon stared at Starlight’s sleeping state, well the girls were anyway. Cody was busy shivering right next to her as he was wrapped in a blanket, while Team Victory was trying to lift their spirits after their third loss. “Awwwwww, she’s like an angel.” Sierra cooed happily. “Ugh, give me a break.” Heather scoffed, “She’s just sleeping.” “I know. No one can really say that they’ve seen a unicorn sleep before in real life.” Sierra squeed. “How can she even sleep in these rustic quarters?” Courtney asked incredulously, “It aches of defeat in here.” Suddenly Starlight started shuddering in her sleep before screaming out, “Twilight… TWILIGHT! Don’t listen to Cozy Glow! No no no no no no no no!” “Oh crap, she’s having a nightmare.” Gwen’s eyes widened in horror. DJ, Leshawna, and Lindsay immediately ran over to see the situation and were horrified when they saw the tears in Starlight’s eyes as she continued to suffer her nightmare. She began kicking her legs back and forth and screaming, “No! Stop it! Leave her alone!” “Someone’s gotta wake her up!” DJ cried out in worry. “I’m on it!” Leshawna nodded firmly before trying to hold down Starlight’s back hooves but she still was treated to a blow to her belly from Starlight’s front hooves. “DJ! You hold her front hooves!” Leshawna firmly commanded. “But if I touch her, she’ll…” DJ backed away fearfully making Leshawna roll her eyes. “Courtney! Get over here!” Leshawna commanded sharply. Courtney nodded before holding Starlight’s hooves down, she began struggling a bit before jolting all of her hooves onto both Courtney and Leshawna’s faces before finally opening her eyes, breathing heavily as she did so. When she saw Courtney and Leshawna on the floor holding their cheeks, she gasped in shock. “Wh-What happened?” Starlight asked in concern. “You just kicked Courtney and Leshawna’s faces in your sleep while they were holding you down.” Lindsay gasped in fright. “I did what?!” Starlight cried out in horror before looking at what she just did, Courtney immediately got up and glared at the unicorn. “Ugh! What is wrong with you?! We were just trying to wake you up but you just had to kick us in the face! I don’t know why we have to be stuck with you! You should’ve just been sent to a zoo!” Courtney spoke furiously, causing all those around her to gasp, before glaring at Courtney furiously, well except for Gwen. “I’m really sorry, I had no idea. I was having a nightmare and-“ Starlight began apologizing before sighing, “But I shouldn’t have been so reckless. I’ll just go to first class.” Starlight then teleported out of the room leaving Courtney with the angry gazes of pretty much all the contestants in the room. “Wow, and I thought your Total Drama Action performance was brutal.” Sierra huffed in anger. “That was so mean. Sunset didn’t deserve that.” Lindsay said sadly. “It’s Starlight, Lindsay.” DJ told the blonde. “Oh right, I keep thinking Sunset is her name for some reason.” Lindsay said with an apologetic frown. “You have no respect, do you Courtney?” Leshawna said furiously, “First you bargain all our lives and then you tell a sapient being she belongs in a zoo like some farm animal!” “W-Well…” Courtney faltered before somewhat regaining her composure, “She kicked us in the face!” “She was having a nightmare! What did you expect her to do?!” Leshawna asked incredulously, “Be calm about it?!” “I… I…” Courtney couldn’t say anything, Leshawna wasn’t wrong in what she said. After that DJ, Leshawna, and Lindsay retreated back to where they originally sat while Sierra got up to head to the dining hall, “I’m gonna go to the dining hall. I can’t even be in the same room as you right now!” Heather nodded in agreement before following Sierra, but no one saw the smirk in her face when she left. ’This is perfect. This is all I need to convince Sierra and Cody to eliminate Courtney.’ “I’ll… just go sit with Team Victory.” Cody said angrily before shuffled over to where DJ, Leshawna, and Lindsay were, obviously not wanting to be near Courtney OR Sierra and taking the chance to avoid both of them. Only Gwen remained next to Courtney, she had to admit, the goth knew how Courtney felt when it came to being shunned by the cast over a mistake but given how Courtney was, how easily could she confront this issue with her? Meanwhile, Starlight teleported to the entrance of first class where most of Team Chris was, Owen, Tyler and Izzy were just eating bowls of cereal, and Noah was laying on the couch while wincing a bit. She had no idea where Alejandro was. “Hey guys.” Starlight feigned a smile as she entered first class, to which Tyler was quick to greet her. “Oh hey Starlight! Here to check up on us?” Tyler asked curiously. “Yeah, Chris wants me to check up on the winning teams in the morning.” Starlight giggles nervously. Izzy suddenly jumped over to Starlight and gave her a narrowed gaze, “You seem upset.” Starlight was shocked Izzy was able to figure that out, but she refused to falter in front of these humans, “What makes you say that?” “Because Izzy can see your lip trembling and the tears in your eyes.” Izzy explained with a suspicious gaze. “Pfft.” Starlight waved off with a false smile remaining and wiping some stray tears, “I’m fine.” “Uh… dudette, I totally saw you wiping your eyes.” Tyler admitted. “You do not have a good poker face.” Noah nodded. “Come on Starlight. We’re your friends now, you can tell us.” Owen reassured the equine encouragingly. Starlight sighed before speaking, “No getting past you guys, huh? Okay, so earlier today I was having a nightmare and I ended up thrashing in my sleep which caused me to kick both Leshawna and Courtney in the faces!” Owen and Tyler gasped in shock while Noah’s eyes widened. “Well… Courtney didn’t take it well and said it was a mess having to deal with me and I should’ve been taken to a zoo.” Starlight explained sadly. “Ugh, don’t listen to Courtney.” Tyler said firmly, “She’s a jerk with a capital G at times. Last season she was so ruthless and kept belittling people for the smallest of reasons.” “Yeah, you haven’t been much of a bother to us.” Owen smiled reassuringly, “What happened was an accident, and Leshawna doesn’t typically hold grudges for accidents. Courtney, uh…” Owen giggles nervously which Starlight caught the implications of quickly. She doubted Courtney would be forgiving her for a good while. “Well, I appreciate the help guys, but I do feel I should stay here for a bit and let things cool down.” Starlight smiled warmly at the members of Team Chris. “No problem. Having a unicorn be my roommate is one of my top one hundred goals.” Izzy nodded enthusiastically. Starlight giggled, but this time more earnestly. Though her mind thought back to what Courtney said, if she was that mad at her over this, she could only imagine how angry she’d be if she knew about her full past, how upset the rest of the contestants would be as well. Starlight shook those thoughts out, they didn’t need to know about that yet and if it turned out she was stuck here, she was unsure if they ever do. > Dark Pasts > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Starlight had to admit, the last challenge was pretty… uneventful to say the least. It was not only a reward challenge, but hardly anything really happened. The closest thing to eventful were Team Amazon’s victory and Sierra telling everyone embarrassing things about Chris’ past but that seemed to be it. Chris didn’t really need her for that challenge. Right now, she was sitting in loser class with Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot(Ugh, she gags at the mere naming of that team) and Team Victory, “Man, I’m just so sick of having a stupid animal mangling curse.” DJ complained. “Curse shmurse. The more you believe that trash, the more power it has over you. And look, Starlight ain’t a human, but she’s just fine.” Leshawna reminded the gentle giant who seemed to smile at this. “Really? Wow, maybe you’re right.” DJ smiled optimistically. “Six episodes and no elimination! If we were a steak, we’d be a 32 ounce courterhouse, and you guys would be a tiny slice of baloney.” Owen laughed giddily, unaware of the glares he was receiving from DJ, Leshawna, and Lindsay. “Uh… Team Amazon has also avoided elimination for six episodes.” Starlight reminded the blonde oaf. “Starlight is correct, and need I remind you all that we lost the last challenge?” Alejandro asked furiously. “But with you as our leader, nothing is impossible. Heck, I’m not even afraid of flying anymore.” Owen said happily before opting to dance all over the common area but unfortunately, this caused the plane to suffer turbulence due to Owen’s weight and because of this, a hole opened up in the plane, causing Starlight to get sucked out of it much to the horror of the other contestants but thankfully Starlight was levitating as much as she could into the plane but the harsh winds were preventing her from landing in the plane. Her magic soon fizzled out and her consciousness faded and her eyes immediately closed but before she could fly out again, Alejandro grabbed her hoof and threw her back in just as Team Victory was able to plug up the hole. The teenagers immediately began hovering over Starlight who was breathing in and out as she slumbered in which Alejandro took the time to lecture Owen, “What were you thinking when dancing all over the place?! You could’ve gotten Starlight killed!” “I-I’m sorry. I didn’t think this would happen!” Owen spoke sadly, “Oh gosh, I’m a terrible friend.” “You’re fine Owen.” Noah reassured the season one winner, “We just gotta find a way to wake up Star-“ “Wait, look. I think she’s saying something.” Leshawna gasped, with the contestants looking over to see what Starlight was saying. “P-Ponyville.” Starlight mumbled in her sleep. Starlight found herself in Ponyville, taking in her surroundings and smiling. She was home again. Her thoughts were interrupted by Trixie tackling her into a hug. “Trixie?” Starlight smiled enthusiastically as she embraced the show mare. “It worked! The spell worked!” Trixie said happily. “Spell? What spell?” Starlight asked curiously. “The spell to bring you back from another dimension of course.” Sunburst scoffed playfully as he and Twilight walked over. “You all seriously did that for me?” Starlight asked with tears of joy running through her face. “Of course we did.” Twilight beamed as she embraced her pupil, “I’m so glad you’re alright, Starlight.” “Yeah… me too. Thanks for not giving up on me.” Starlight smiled back as she leaned into the hug. “I said I’d always be there for you and I always will be.” Twilight smirked confidently. Starlight just sighed in content at this, she was finally home. And then she woke up, Starlight looked to see that all the contestants were staring at her which made her realize one thing. She was still stuck in another world. “Starlight… are you okay?” Owen asked warily. “I’m fine.” Starlight sighed sadly before walking away from the crowd. “We heard you mumbling in your sleep. Something about this Twilight again?” Leshawna asked curiously. “Yeah, I had a dream I was back home in Equestria.” Starlight chuckled weakly. The cast looked at each other awkwardly before DJ spoke up, “We’re really sorry about what’s happened.” “Don’t worry about it. I need some time alone.” Starlight reassured them before walking off. “Should we follow her?” Owen asked once Starlight was out of view. “Why? She clearly wants to be alone.” Leshawna rolled her eyes at such a question. “Yeah, but if we know what’s going on in her head, we could help her out a bit.” Izzy pointed out giddily. “I am not usually one for eavesdropping but if we must, we should go see what is ailing our dear friend.” Alejandro decided to step in, he could use some information about where Starlight was from, if only to ease his worries on how much this could impact his game. “Ooh, are you looking for Starlight too?” A high-pitched voice suddenly chirped in before it was seen that Sierra was running into loser class. “Why aren’t you in first class?” DJ asked curiously. “Starlight didn’t come to check on us, so we got a little concerned.” Cody admitted with a sheepish gaze as he and the other three members of Team Amazon came walking in. “If you’re eavesdropping on Starlight’s inner thoughts, we want in.” Heather smirked. DJ and Leshawna gave each other wary looks, unsure of where this was heading. https://youtu.be/7_mx-Biv0Cc?si=B-o1yttfwiStmIDT Starlight was sitting on a lone box in the cargo hold brooding to herself when she suddenly began singing “I thought I was an outcast I thought I stood alone A rogue, a thief, a cultist. No place to call my own.” Starlight sang solemnly, thinking of her horrible past. “I thought no one could love me And how could I have known I was wrong Oh, so wrong.” Starlight sadly smiled when she finished the verse, thinking of her friends such as Spike, Trixie, Sunburst, and Maud. “Then I thought I found it A dream that I could share I thought I was so lucky It almost wasn't fair.” Starlight smiled wistfully as she thought of the moment she took Twilight’s hoof. “I thought I knew my purpose I thought that I knew where I belong But I was wrong.” Starlight began to get teary eyed as she remembered how she got banished that fateful day due to the hooves of Cozy Glow. “Everything I ever thought I knew Where I've been Where I'm going Everything I counted on turned out to be untrue Could've guessed Should've known Now I do.” Unknown to Starlight, her ballad was being listened to by the rest of the contestants who were eavesdropping at the entrance of the cargo hold. “Everything I've yearned for Everything I planned All my sweetest memories were castles made of sand Now that it's all crumbling Help me understand If none of it was really me then who am I supposed to be? And everything I ever thought I knew Every hope Every feeling.” Starlight continued singing with heart shattering each moment she sang. “Love and trust and happiness They're done, they're gone, they're through And what's left Me alone Once again Should've known Now I do.” Starlight then sang in sad acceptance as she realized she might never go home. “I guess my life meant nothing I guess it was a sham I guess I'm someone else now I wonder who I am.” Starlight finished singing with tears in her eyes before she suddenly heard crying in the distance. Starlight then teleported out of the room to see that all thirteen contestants were outside the room much to her shock and the source of the crying turned out to be Owen. “What are you guys doing here?” Starlight asked curiously, wiping the tears off her face. “We had to see what was going on? Your dreams have been concerning all of us.” DJ explained for the whole group. “Um, I’d like to ask what that part about you being a criminal is all about?” Courtney asked skeptically. Starlight looked shell-shocked when she heard that before carefully asking, “You… heard all that…” “You were practically singing your heart out in there.” Sierra explained with a smile, not at all bothered about any allegations of her being a criminal somehow, “One time I kept singing When I Cry in my bedroom and didn’t even notice my mother was standing at the doorway. It happens to the best of us.” “There’s… something about your past you haven’t told us. Isn’t there?” Leshawna asked with a raised eyebrow. Starlight sighed before sitting down, “Alright. I guess you all deserve to know the truth. It’s a really long story if I’m being honest.” “We got time.” Cody reassured the unicorn, “The plane doesn’t land for another two hours.” Starlight took a deep breath and began explaining, “When I was a filly, I didn’t have many friends. I had this quirk where my magic was really out of control and it ties into my emotions so it kinda drove some ponies away and the one friend I did make was driven away from me due to his cutie mark. Like the one you see on my flank. My depression went into rage as I got older and so I decided to try and make everypony equal by taking their cutie marks, but I couldn’t remove my own so I hid mine. When I was exposed by Twilight and her friends, I didn’t take it well and tried to get revenge by time traveling so her friendships would never happen. Thought I realized what a horrible mistake I was making and I stopped my quest for revenge and got taken in as Twilight’s pupil to learn friendship and I slowly evolved and redeemed myself into who I am today. I have changed, but if you guys don’t want anything to do with me after what you heard, I understand.” “Why would we do that?” Owen asked curiously, “You changed, didn’t you?” “Well yeah… but the crimes I committed were pretty…” Starlight said meekly before Cody decided to comment. “So what? You‘ve been nice to us since you’ve gotten here and if your world found you worthy of redemption then I don’t see why we can’t.” Cody told the unicorn firmly. “Well I think she shouldn’t be here.” Courtney rolled her eyes. “Well no one asked for your opinion.” Leshawna replied sharply, “If she’s atoned for her crimes, then I say she’s just fine.” “I agree with Leshawna.” Lindsay chirped. “Yeah, maybe we should give her a chance.” DJ smiled with a nod. “Well I guess it wouldn’t hurt…” Gwen replied warily. “Yeah, she doesn’t seem to have an evil bone in her body anymore.” Tyler nodded. “I accept her.” Sierra waved her hand happily. “Meh, I don’t care either way.” Noah shrugged. “I suppose it wouldn’t be a horrible idea to give her a chance.” Alejandro replied confidently. “I honestly could care less.” Heather rolled her eyes. Starlight felt herself smiling at this, maybe she had a chance in fitting in with this new world after all, especially with friends like these guys. > Slap Slap Revolution Part 1 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back in loser class with Starlight, Team Chris, and Team Victory, the plane was heading towards it’s landing destination to which Noah looked out the window to see snowy mountains which made him gasp, “Whoa. Aren’t those the Alps.” "Velcome, my veinerschnitzels! In preparation for landing, please unbuckle your seatbelts and head to the cargo hold." Chris told everyone through the PA, “And yes. That includes you Starlight.” After that, Starlight and the thirteen contestants met in the cargo hold for the next instructions but instead, all that happened was the floor to the cargo hold opened causing all of them to fall into the snow, except for Starlight who used levitation to halt her landing before safely getting on the ground much to the visible annoyance of Heather, “Show off.” The Queen Bee grunted as she got up. Soon Chris showed up flying on his jetpack and began whispering, “Guten tag, und willkommen in Deutschland. A.K.A. Germany. We're in avalanche territory, so you might wanna keep it down." “What?! There’s a sale on the khaki-“ Lindsay began screaming before Starlight put a hoof above Lindsay’s mouth. “He said to keep it down.” Starlight whispered frantically before nervously shushing the blonde. “On the road to today’s challenge,” Chris said as a silent ding rang out, “Avoid the song-a-lanche. To avoid a fatal tumble down the mountain and a suck-tacular climb back up, you better keep the singing nice and not loud.” Suddenly some music began playing much to Starlight’s confusion but nonetheless she watched as the contestants began singing. https://youtu.be/VnyluOOH3T0?si=4og56IIaawIVRDg5 Apparently, Lindsay finally remembering Tyler was enough to cause the jock to scream and cause an avalanche which sent them all tumbling down the mountains. Joy. Starlight opted to walk with DJ and Leshawna up the mountain when Lindsay ran up to them ecstatically, “Great news guys. Tyler’s back!” “What?” Leshawna feigned shock, “Girl, no way.” “Yeah, can you believe it?” Lindsay beamed before running off. Leshawna then turned to Starlight to explain, “It’s easier just to go along with it.” Suddenly Starlight heard Owen mention something about food before they all made it up to the top of the mountain to see a bunch of meat grinders and a pile of raw sausage. Owen then buries his head in some sausage meat "Oh wonderful food!" "Easy, tiger. Don't think of this as raw meat, think of it as raw building materials. Over fifteen hundred species of sausage call Germany home, hence the theme of our most efficient challenge yet…" Chris said before Chef popped out from behind the pile and screamed, “Shut up und stuff it!” "Danke, Chef. Each team must make a giant German sausage by shoveling meat into the grinder. Push it down and grind the mixture out into an oversized sausage casing, all without losing a finger or toe." Chris explained. "I'm sorry, sausages? This is the most disgusting challenge yet!" Heather said, clearly disgusted. "Count yourselves lucky you're not making hot dogs. No beaks or butts in this meat pile." Chris smirked, making DJ barf to which Starlight looked on in sympathy at. "You'll have to shovel fast or risk getting stuck with an incomplete sausage, which will be a lot harder to ride down the hill." Chris told them as they looked down a hill which looks safe. "Uh no, not that hill. That's the spot." Chris pointed to a more dangerous hill with spiky rocks. "Of course if you had a new electric meat grinder, just plug it into our generator and boom, sausage stuffed in seconds." Chris smirked. Heather noticeably widened her eyes to which Courtney grunted furiously at, “Ugh. I knew I should have tackled you when you threw out grinder!” “You didn’t disagree with it at the time!” Heather defended weakly. “What kind of self absorbed, formerly bald egomaniac thinks a reward won’t come in handy?!” Courtney asked incredulously causing the two to start growling at each other but before they could continue fighting, Leshawna spoke up. “Speaking of rewards, can we expect one after this challenge?!" Leshawna asked angrily. "There will be prizes for those who make it down the hill alive. And there will be punishment for one sorry loser on the last place team. Behold, der penalty-hosen." Chris said, holding up the hosen. Chef then blows a horn signifying it's the start of the challenge. "Go, go, go." Chris commanded before going over to Starlight, “Dudette, come with me and I’ll show you what your next challenge role will be.” Starlight nodded and headed over to walk to the bottom of the mountain with Chris. Starlight and Chris then walked over to a dancing pad where Chef was waiting for them. “Alright Glimmer, here’s how this is gonna work. You’re gonna be demonstrating the German dance the contestants will be doing for the next part of the challenge.” Chef told the unicorn before demonstrating the dance himself, “Right knee up, left arm swing, stomp, hop slap your thighs, kick your butt, jump and clap.” Starlight had a pretty good feeling that this might take a while to practice. > Slap Slap Revolution Part 2 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It took a while for Starlight to finish practicing the dance but she finally got the hang of it. At that moment, the contestants all finally arrived on their meat sleds… well most of them, Team Amazon just snowballed onto pretty much everyone and knocked them over. "Congrats on Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot for coming in first." Chris said happily, "Way to take one for the team Owen." "Dids we won." Owen said, clearly dazed. "On to part zwei of today's challenge. Competitors must learn and perform a traditional German dance on this very platform. The mats are rigged to deliver a hilarious and painful jolt every time one of you missteps or I need a laugh. Last team standing wins." Chris began speaking. "And where is the reward you promised for the winners?" Noah asked angrily. "Patience mein flower." Chris smirked, "Team Chris, first to arrive, first to get the reward." Soon Chef threw the team two metal hats to Alejandro, Noah, and Owen who were struggling to lift them. "These weigh a ton." Noah complained. "Yes, yes they do, Team Victory, you get these." Chris told Team Victory as he gave them two fur hats, Leshawna and DJ caught one each. “And in last place Team Amazon." Chris finished as Chef gave them pointy green hats with a red feather on each one. "Maybe it's reverse psychology, the losing team gets the best reward." Sierra smiled sheepishly. "Whatever lets you sleep at night, and to keep things fair, Team Amazon and Team Chris, three dance, the rest sit out, Team Victory, two dance the rest sit out." Chris instructed. "Wait a minute, three against two, how is that fair?!” DJ asked incredulously. “You’re kidding right?” Chris smirked, "And which member of the losing team must wear the penalty hosen?" Sierra immediately began to cheer excitedly for the hosen for some reason but Chris instead decided to give it to Cody much to his dismay. After that, the contestants went onto different dancing pads. Alejandro was with Owen, Leshawna with DJ, Heather and Sierra, and Noah and Cody. It was now time for Starlight to play her role. “Okay. Everyone follow my lead and none of you will get hurt in this challenge.” Starlight smiled reassuringly before silently adding, “Hopefully.” “Right knee up, left arm swing, stomp, hop slap your thighs, kick your butt, jump and clap.” Starlight danced the best she could before panting in and out. More music began to play and suddenly Sierra started singing. https://youtu.be/_ST8YXZ2Kmw?si=pWUa6vWdmfAOAOUE Starlight’s eyes widened at the song she just heard. Wow was this girl obsessed with Cody. She then noticed Heather snickering at Leshawna’s dance moves to which Leshawna glared at before Alejandro spoke up, “Ignore those who do not know fabulous dancing when they see it. Truly, you are fabulous. You mustn't hold back any longer!" Alejandro said to motivate Leshawna. "You're right, candy apple! Clear the way! This dance train is leaving the station!" Leshawna said beginning to dance again. "I'm disappointed Heather. You’re above petty teasing." Alejandro said seemingly disappointed. Yeah, Starlight only knew Heather for a few days and even she knows that’s not true. After a while, Heather tried whispering to Leshawna again which caught Starlight’s ear, “One girl to another, watch out for Alejandro. He is not who he seems." "Ha, you're just jealous he's been paying attention to all this.” Leshawna responded with a smirk. “What?! Ugh! I hate that guy!” Heather grunted in annoyance. The lilac pony perked up a bit when hearing that… Alejandro up to no good… that seemed odd. Soon afterwards, the matchups finally began. It was Alejandro against Cody, DJ against Sierra, Leshawna against Noah, and Heather against Owen. The battle began and the teens were slapping and kicking each other but what caught Starlight’s eye was Cody and Alejandro’s fight. Alejandro leered at the geek as Cody tried to feebly slap Alejandro but Alejandro ended up slapping Cody off the platform spinning much to her discomfort as he fell down. She was starting to believe Heather had some merit in distrusting Alejandro but it WAS a competition. Suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder and turned to see it was Gwen. “Uh… hi.” Gwen smiled nervously before saying, “So… that was kind of a bombshell you dropped on us earlier today… what with the whole dark past and all that.” “Hehe. Yeah.” Starlight chuckled sheepishly. “Look. I’d like to apologize for what Courtney said. You obviously did some messed up crap but her treatment to you is kinda out of line.” Gwen admitted. “It’s no big deal, I understand her distrust.” Starlight reassured the goth, “I sometimes feel I can’t trust myself.” “Ouch.” Gwen cringed in sympathy, “Well nonetheless, I’ll try and make sure she doesn’t bother you.” “I appreciate it.” Starlight smiles at Gwen who smiled back. It came down to the final four for the challenge. It was Heather versus Leshawna and Alejandro versus Sierra. “Come on Sierra. Don’t burn out now.” Courtney cried out angrily. “Stay on the platform Leshawna.” DJ said worriedly. “I’m not going anywhere!” Leshawna claimed confidently. “That’s it. Seize the day!” Alejandro said encouragingly much to the fury of Heather. “Ugh! She is not even on your team!” Heather growled in frustration before she slapped Leshawna. “Ow!” Leshawna cried out before gaining a look of fury, “I’m gonna seize the you!” She shoved Heather off the dance pad before jumping off herself, “You had this coming for three seasons!” Starlight looked on in horror as Leshawna began slapping Heather in the face over and over until bruises began to form on her cheeks, and was even more horrified to see Courtney, Gwen, Izzy, Noah, and Lindsay cheering for this. Once Starlight saw Heather’s tooth fly out, she knew she had to do something. “Stop fighting!” Starlight lighted up her horn to grab the two girls in her telekinesis and separated them from each other, placing them on separate sides of the floor. Leshawna took one look at Starlight’s worried gaze and gained a look of concern, she was about to say something but then everyone noticed Alejandro fall into the snow. “And it looks like Team Amazon wins the challenge and they get a special reward in the next challenge, but for now I won’t spoil it!” Chris said happily. “We won?” Sierra asked happily before cheering ecstatically. “Dude! What happened back there?!” Noah asked incredulously at Alejandro’s fallen form. “Heather sacrificed herself to distract me and her brilliant plan worked. I am most disappointed in myself.” Alejandro dramatically despaired. “Oh yeah, I totally planned that.” Heather said, clearly playing along with Alejandro’s lie, “Ow.” “As for Team Victory, you are once again heading for elimination.” Chris smirked at the losing team who gained sullen looks. Starlight couldn’t believe the events that transpired today as she sat in the cargo hold. She honestly hadn’t seen much violence since her time travel fight with Twilight and she hoped to never see that type of violence again. Worst of all, everyone seemed to enjoy it. Why?! She then heard footsteps approach her and looked up to see that Leshawna was standing before her. “Hey Leshawna…” Starlight said awkwardly, “Look, I’m sorry for using my magic back there but things were getting out of control and I had to-“ “Stop. You have nothing to apologize for. I kinda lost it back there.” Leshawna admitted sheepishly, “I let my ego and hate for Heather get to me and it cost me.” “What do you mean?” Starlight asked curiously. “Pfft, look at the odds. Chances are that Lindsay and DJ are gonna be voting me out tonight.” Leshawna gave a sad smile, “I probably deserve it too.” Starlight couldn’t argue with that, Leshawna basically threw the challenge and put herself on the chopping block but she wanted to stray from that topic, there was something she really needed to know. “Leshawna… I need to ask. Why did everyone cheer when Heather was being attacked back there? You all seemed to accept me pretty easily, I don’t think what Heather did could nearly match my actions.” Starlight asked curiously. “Oh right, no one ever told you how Heather was in season one.” Leshawna said in realization before explaining, “Back in season one, Heather was the cruelest person in our cast. Sure she’s nowhere near as evil now but she has been a nuisance for quite some time. She read Gwen’s diary on live television where everyone could see, treated her allies like slaves, dumped them when she didn’t need them anymore, and even framed Gwen’s ex for cheating on her. Unlike you, she never repented her ways or even tried to make an effort to right her wrongs and she’s never changed since then.” Starlight couldn’t believe her ears when she heard that, she knew Heather was mean but to hear all of Heather’s worst deeds was surprising. “Even with all that, you did the right thing separating us. Don’t let this whole experience bring you down. I’m sure you’ll be fine here. Now come on, we got an elimination to get to.” Leshawna told the lilac unicorn who followed without question. True to Leshawna’s word, she was indeed eliminated from the competition. She left with her head held high and wished DJ and Lindsay good luck in the game which Starlight respected. The reformed villain had to admit, she was a bit nervous about the rest of her World Tour with these guys but she could only hope that nothing too drastic would happen as things went on. > Am-AH-zon Race > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Starlight woke up in a cold sweat. She looked around frantically to see that it was still nighttime and she was still in loser class of the Total Drama Jumbo Jet. “Another nightmare. I’ve been having those a lot recently.” Starlight sighed miserably. Starlight looked to see that DJ and Lindsay were sleeping in the bench she was sitting in while Alejandro, Izzy, Noah, Owen, and Tyler were sleeping at the opposite bench nearby. “I really need to do something to take my mind off these dreams.” Starlight said solemnly before walking off. As she continued walking, she passed by the dining hall, it was dark and empty, as Starlight expected but she was bored. A look around the plane wouldn’t do her much harm, would it? Suddenly, she heard a shuffling noise. The unicorn turned her head to look behind her and lit up her horn to illuminate some light, but when she looked around. It seemed whatever caused that noise was gone now. “Probably a rat or something.” Starlight yawned before continuing her walk around the plane. However, hidden in the plane’s kitchen was Total Drama’s notorious first boot, Ezekiel. Ezekiel had only seen glimpses of Starlight Glimmer before as he was stowing away to try and get back in the game but from what he overheard from Chris and Chef, he got the gist of what was going on. Starlight was from another universe, a universe full of magic, and she was somehow banished here by another villain. What interested Ezekiel the most about Starlight was her magic. He was mystified that something with magic actually existed. He needed to be extra careful now, or she could potentially blow his chances of getting back in the game. The sun had finally begun rising, and Starlight finally woke her tired eyes up, thankfully, the rest of her night was nightmare free. “Zzzzz, Plane. No. Zzzzzzz.” Owen was heard mumbling in his sleep. “Ugh, would you pipe down already?” Alejandro asked angrily. “Crash position…” Owen mumbled before flailing his arms sporadically and accidentally decking Alejandro in the face which caused Starlight to cringe. “Ooh, you okay Alejandro?” Starlight asked in concern as Owen woke up and also looked wide-eyed in concern at Alejandro’s state. “I’m fine.” Alejandro smirked, which was odd to the unicorn given the circumstances, “Nothing a little ice and revenge won’t fix.” He then muttered under his breath. “Cool.” Owen sighed in relief before asking, “Wait, did you say revenge?” “Of course not, you must have misheard.” Alejandro waved off. “Hang on, I’ll go get Chef.” Starlight told the two contestants as she walked off, though she couldn’t help but worry a little about Owen supposedly hearing Alejandro mention the word revenge. Confessional: Alejandro “I’m aware Starlight is an intern and cannot do much to influence the game, but I’m sure it would seem quite suspicious if she is suddenly afraid or annoyed by me. So I’ll have to contain my annoyance around Owen a lot better.” Alejandro said angrily as he now wore an eyepatch, “That will be hard to do considering Owen is a massive idiot.” Confessional Ends After a while, the plane landed with Chris and Starlight now standing in front of the remaining cast members in the Amazon jungle. "Welcome to Peru, the place of the mighty Amazon river. This challenge is called the Am-AH-son race. Teams must hike from the Amazon jungle all the way to Machu Picchu. In among the top of Machu Picchu a golden treasure awaits you. Find the treasure to travel our next first class destination, the losing team may need to send someone home and be warned there are vicious insects." Chris announced, in which Cody immediately raised his hand in fear. "Yes Cody, the legal department made me well aware of your deathly allergies and insisted I give you an epipen." Cody reaches to grab his epipen but Chris swipes it away. "Wouldn't make sense to give it to the person who has the allergies. What if you need an injection when you're unconscious?" Chris said. "Ooh pick me!" Sierra waved her hand. "Who to give this to I wonder." Chris smirked, and Starlight was guessing he was NOT over what happened in New York. Regardless Sierra continued to beg but Cody turned to Gwen and made a pleading motion. "I'll take it." Gwen sighed miserably. “What?! Noooooooo!” Sierra cried out in despair, “I’m the only one who knows what sends Cody into anaphylactic shock. Red ants, brown ants, black ants, wolf spiders, and goat saliva." “Goat saliva?” Starlight asked incredulously, “How did you- You know what, I’m not gonna ask, here you go Gwen.” Chris then threw the epipen to Gwen who caught it in shock while Cody silently fist pumped the air in relief. Chris then showed a photo of a Zing Zing, "Also in the jungle are these Zing Zings. A native tribe who never encountered modern man, and they're not about to today, so if you see a Zing Zing do not make eye contact they-" Drums are heard playing in the background and Chris looks over to see it was Chef. "Would you stop that?!" Chris asked incredulously to the cook who grumbled in annoyance but complied. "How far is it to Matchie Pitchie?" Owen asked curiously. "Machu Picchu is a hop skip and a jump from here, plus eighteen hours." Chris answered making everyone groan before he continued, "The jungle is too dangerous to travel at night so a team will have to take a break at dusk and make a camp." "And am I right to assume there are no tents?" Alejandro asked. "Correctamundo now since the forest is so vast and dangerous, each team will have a walkie talkie to use in case of emergencies.” Chris said happily as he held out a box of walkie-talkies in which Gwen, Alejandro, and Lindsay reached in to grab one. “Oh, and by the way Team Amazon, remember how I said you would win an advantage for winning the last challenge?” Chris asked with a smirk. “Yes.” Courtney replied sharply. “Well… ever since she’s been here, I noticed the ratings have increased a large amount. And after some phone calls with the producers, your new reward will be Starlight Glimmer.” Chris said happily which caused Starlight’s eyes to widen in shock. “Wait what?!” Starlight asked incredulously. “That’s right. For the rest of the competish, Starlight Glimmer is now a full time member of Team Amazon for the rest of the game, or until she’s eliminated. Who knows?” Chris shrugged dismissively. “If your plan was to have Starlight as a contestant, why didn’t you do this sooner?!” Alejandro asked angrily. “Because I needed to get the okay first, obviously.” Chris scoffed indignantly. Starlight then gulped and walked over to Team Amazon with a nervous smile on her face. “Hey guys…” Starlight said awkwardly. “Eeeeeeeee!” Sierra immediately embraced the unicorn tightly, “Welcome to our team! I’m so happy we finally get to compete together more!” “Hehe, I’m happy too Sierra.” Starlight chuckled good naturedly. She then caught Cody and Gwen smiling at Starlight in reassurance before she inevitably smiled back at them. As Starlight and her new teammates walked through the jungle, they stopped at a crosswalk where Starlight from the corner of her eye saw Team Chris and Team Victory walking left. “Maybe we should go right.” Gwen said nervously. “No, left. That way if we’re wrong, everyone is too.” Sierra piped up. “Yeah. Safety in numbers.” Cody shuddered before placing an arm around Starlight with a nervous smile, “Just… thinking of our new teammate.” “Let Gwen decide.” Heather smirked, “After all, she’s the one who’s feeling ‘lucky’ today.” Starlight raised her eyebrow at that, where was Heather going with this? “I said I was sorry.” Gwen said. “If you’re right, you’re a hero. If you’re wrong, we know who to eliminate.” Heather continued smirking as she stood near Gwen. “Your parents must love this show, gets you outta the house.” Gwen scoffed before walking to the right path. “Are you sure this is a good idea?” Starlight asked the Queen Bee. “It’s the best plan we’ve got.” Heather explained, before she and the rest of the team followed the goth. Starlight sighed, before finally walking with her team. After a while, Starlight and the rest of the Amazons found themselves in a buggy field. She then opted to walk next to Cody and Gwen as Cody then spoke up. “Thanks for taking my epipen. You know how to use it, right?” Cody said. “Not a clue.” Gwen admitted stoically. “I get bit. You jam the needle into my naked butt cheek.” Cody commented with a smile which made Starlight and Gwen’s eyes both widen. “Yeah…” Gwen handed the epipen to Cody before walking away from him and Starlight, “Good luck with that.” “Was that your attempt at flirting because that was terrible.” Starlight stated in disgust before opting to follow Gwen. “Sorry you had to hear that.” Gwen apologized after shuddering. “It’s fine, I doubt he meant any harm.” Starlight sighed in disappointment, “He’s pretty nice though, I don’t understand why he acts like this sometimes.” “He’s trying to look cool or whatever, but it really isn’t.” Gwen rolled her eyes in annoyance, “Sometimes I wish he’d take the hint and stop flirting with me.” Starlight gave a look of sympathy to Gwen before continuing to walk ahead. After walking for a few more minutes, Cody stopped which caused Starlight and the rest of the girls to look in shock at the fact there were Zing-Zings nearby. “Zing-Zings.” Cody whispered before shushing everyone, “We can’t make contact, stay still and-“ Starlight just pointed fearfully in front of Cody who screamed in horror as a Zing-Zing stared right in front of him. Starlight then lit up her horn menacingly to try and scare the Zing-Zing but suddenly she felt something slam onto her head and she fell to the ground. She then looked up to see more Zing-Zings crowd around her team. She tried to stand but suddenly she felt she couldn’t move anymore and her world then went black. Starlight groaned as she woke up only to realize she was squished in between Sierra and Gwen as they were tied to a tree. “What the- where are we?” Starlight asked in confusion. “We’re tied to a tree. Man, you were knocked out for a while, that Zing Zing got you good.” Sierra began explaining, “The Zing Zings tied us all up to a tree and we had to get batteries from Cody’s flashlight to contact Chris since there were no batteries in the walkie-talkie but they were in his pocket so Gwen rummaged through his pocket, but she got stabbed by his epipen. We found the batteries and contacted Chris, but we had to sing a song. Don’t worry, you weren’t eliminated for not singing in since you were unconscious, but now they’ve crowned Heather as their god and won’t let the rest of us leave. Oh, and Gwen’s asleep now.” Starlight looked to see Gwen was indeed unconscious and Heather was sitting on a throne with a… gold tooth on. What?! “Yep, once the epenepen wears off, it knocks you out cold.” Cody said warily. “Her snoring is making me crazy.” Sierra commented angrily. “I think you mean crazier.” Courtney growled furiously, “Heather, make them untie us.” “What if I ask and it makes them angry, angry enough to sacrifice one of you.” Heather rolled her eyes, “I’m pretty sure the presence of a unicorn already freaked them out and I’m not sure if they’ll be so willing to let her go.” “She’s got a point.” Cody gulped. “Hang on, I’ll get us out of this.” Starlight sighed before trying to light up her horn before gasping in pain, “Ow! My head!” “Great. Now the unicorn can’t even use her magic.” Courtney growled, “This challenge is so over.” Suddenly Chef ran over with a hatchet in his hand, once a Zing Zing noticed him, they pointed a spear at him but Heather spoke up. “No, it’s okay.” Heather said happily, “If you want to get on their good side, you should kneel before me. I’m a bit of a god to the Zing Zings.” "Those aren't Zing Zings, they look like local Peruvian teenagers." Chef said before he sliced the rope with his hatchet causing Gwen to fall down and Starlight and the rest of the contestants to get back on their feet. “But the uniforms?” Cody asked. “The spears.” Sierra added. Soon a Zing Zings had their masks off and revealed they were actors as they showed a poster. "Your actors of a Shakespearean play of MacBeth?" Heather said incredulously "Yeah sorry for scaring you, Chris promised to get a good word in for some directors." An actor apologized. “Sorry means nothing. Look what you did to my friend!” Sierra cried out furiously as she pointed to Starlight who was rubbing her head in agony. The Zing Zings gulped at the fangirl’s tone before Chef intervened, “Whoa, calm down girl. We’ll ice down Starlight’s injury. By the way, you lost the challenge. Y’all gotta vote someone off.” Starlight was then seen in the dining room putting an ice pack to her head with Sierra sitting nearby. “How are you holding up?” Sierra asked the unicorn. “Feeling a bit better, but still in some pain.” Starlight admitted with a sad smile. “Okay girls, we need to talk strategy tonight.” Courtney said firmly as she and Gwen walked to the oddball duo. “I’m NOT voting out Starlight.” Sierra said angrily. “It’s not that.” Gwen immediately spoke up, “We just want you three to vote off Heather tonight. As long as she’s in the game, she’s dangerous.” “Yeah, I heard from Leshawna what she did in the first season. I’m alright with voting her out.” Starlight reassured the girls. “Well… you did lead us to disaster Gwen, but I won’t vote you off for it.” Sierra shrugged dismissively. “Great. Thanks guys.” Gwen gave a thumbs up while Courtney gave Starlight an “I’m watching you” glance before walking off along with Gwen. Starlight sighed a bit at seeing Courtney still distrust her while Sierra gave a hesitant look. We then cut to the elimination ceremony where Team Amazon sat, Starlight was still nursing her head with an ice pack. "Alright, Amazons. Are you ready to find out who you've chosen to eliminate, let's take a look at who you all voted for, just for fun." Chris said happily as he turned on the monitor, everyone including Starlight’s eyes widened. Voting Confessional: Gwen “I vote for Heather. The less she’s around, the less she can manipulate Sierra and Starlight.” Gwen said angrily. Voting Confessional: Courtney “Goodbye Heather.” Courtney smiled brightly before stamping her passport, “Wow. Feels too good to be true.” Voting Confessional: Heather “I vote Courtney.” Heather said sharply before stamping her passport. Voting Confessional: Sierra “I vote for Heather. I used to say that to my bathroom mirror all the time, and now here I am doing it. Eeee, this is so awesome.” Voting Confessional: Cody “I… vote for Sierra. She’s like the stalker girlfriend I always thought I wanted… until I GOT one.” Cody shuddered. Voting Confessional: Starlight “I’m sticking to the agreement here. I’m voting off Heather with the rest of the girls.” Starlight used her horn to stamp the Queen Bee’s passport before grunting a bit in pain. Voting Confessionals End “There. All done.” Chris smirked. Cody and Starlight both turned to Sierra who began sniffling before she inevitably began crying. “Let’s just get this over with.” Heather said angrily. “I guess now would be a good time to send Heather out the plane, if this were an elimination challenge, but it’s not.” Chris said happily before blowing on a noisemaker, “Surprise.” Gwen, Courtney, and Starlight gasped in fright before catching Heather’s smirk. Confessional: Heather “Now they fear me, and so they should.” Heather said angrily, “I will make Gwen and Courtney pay for what they tried to do to me. And then… I’ll crush Alejandro for dessert.” She then began pondering a bit before adding, “But I do still need allies so I better start buddying up with Starlight and Sierra again, and fast.” She then exited the confessional with a determined frown on her face. > Can’t Help Falling In Louvre > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things could be better for Starlight’s team right now. Currently at the moment, she was sitting with Sierra, trying to comfort the fangirl after seeing how Cody voted her off the other day. Cody himself wasn’t sitting with the rest of the contestants right now, he was hiding in a luggage carrier. Starlight supposed she couldn’t blame the geek for not wanting to be near Sierra right now. While Starlight enjoyed Sierra’s company, she wasn’t too shocked that Cody was a little put off by her and given her emotional state, Starlight didn’t think Cody was ready to handle her yet. “I’m glad Lindsay’s team won the last challenge and everything, but her being in first class and me being back here,” Tyler began speaking, “Oh, it sucks.” “Uh… yeah, I know exactly what you mean.” Owen admitted shakily, “When I’m away from Izzy for too long, I get really-“ “Happy?” Noah asked pessimistically, “Because your girlfriend is a complete and total nutcase.” “No need to be rude Noah.” Starlight rolled her eyes in annoyance. “Oh come on Starlight. You’ve met Izzy, how could you say she isn’t somewhat insane.” Noah scoffed at the unicorn. “I’m just saying, maybe keep your nose out of other people’s relationships.” Starlight spoke up. “Oh right, because you’d know all about that, wouldn’t you?” Noah remarked causing Starlight to look away guiltily which Noah noticed and bit his lip awkwardly. “Hey. Where is Izzy anyway?” Owen asked, desperate to change the subject. “I saw her go to the cockpit, to talk with Chef.” Alejandro explained neutrally causing everyone except Starlight to gasp. Suddenly the plane began shaking and flying around sporadically much to Starlight’s fear before suddenly the plane finally jerked back to normal. “Having some trouble controlling your team, Alejandro?” Heather then asked mockingly. Starlight looked from the floor to see Owen sucking his thumb on a luggage carrier while Noah and Tyler’s heads were stuck in a birdcage and luggage carrier respectively. “Your attempts to insult my team are… cute.” Alejandro smirked back teasingly. “Whatever. My girl power team is going to win, we don’t get distracted by anything. Especially boys.” Heather glared at the Spaniard who smirked at the Queen Bee and opted to point to Sierra who was now sitting on the floor, crying and shoving globs of ice cream in her mouth. “Get it together!” Heather growled furiously before taking Sierra by her ponytail and dragging her out of the room, not that she noticed as she was too busy crying, Gwen and Courtney soon followed the girls out. “All clear.” Alejandro whispered to the luggage carrier, Starlight looked to see a bag being shoved aside to see Cody crawling out of the carrier and onto the ground. “Phew. Thanks guys.” Cody wiped his brow in relief. “You’re welcome. I like Sierra and all, but I do understand it can’t be easy to deal with her all the time.” Starlight said as she got up and dusted herself off, “Though I do gotta ask, why vote off Sierra and not Heather?” “She’s been stealing all of my toothbrushes, underwear, and giving me unwanted foot massages. I needed it to end.” Cody said desperately. “Yeah… that would get annoying…” Starlight replied awkwardly, making a mental note to talk to Sierra about that later, and talk to Cody about his antics with Gwen. Wow, Starlight has really odd taste in friends. “Hey Al, I gotta make a confessional. Can you hide me in case Sierra looks for me?” Cody asked with a nervous smile. “Okay, let’s go.” Alejandro rolled his eyes before he and Cody walked off. Starlight decided to use her magic to levitate Owen and Tyler from the luggage carriers and onto the ground. “Hehehe, it tickles.” Owen giggles. “Thanks for the help.” Tyler said in relief, “I needed that.” “You’re welcome.” Starlight smiled back before heading to where Noah was and slowly levitating his head off of the bird cage and released him so he could get on the ground. “I’ll have to get used to this.” Noah wiped the dust off his face. “Let’s hope for our sake, you won’t have to.” Starlight chuckled awkwardly before walking off, “I’m gonna go see how Sierra’s doing. Catch you later.” Confessional: Starlight “Things are a bit tense on my team now that Cody and Sierra are at odds with each other, that and Sierra is really upset that Cody voted for her but hopefully things will smooth over soon.” Starlight admitted sheepishly, “Plus I really don’t wanna have to choose sides between them, I like them both.” Confessional Ends Starlight was beginning to make her way to the dining hall before the intercom went back up again, “Attention passengers, if you look out your window, you’ll get to see what happens when a plane does a somersault.” “Gimme that.” Chef’s voice could be heard before he spoke up, “Uh, y’all might wanna hang on to something heavy.” Starlight didn’t think twice before teleporting to where she last saw Owen. After the plane quite literally did a somersault in the water, the remaining contestants were all seen just outside the Louvre. “I didn’t get a chance to prep my intro what with the unexpected water landing, so I’m just gonna give the highlights. France, City Of Love, art gallery, filler, lots of artwork, priceless priceless artwork.” Chris muttered. “Eeeee, Paris.” Lindsay squealed, “There’s only one guy I wanna share this with. The one guy I’ve been dreaming of spending time with since we were apart. Where’s my Tyler?” “Right here Linds.” Tyler said happily as he walked next to Lindsay. “Are you sure that’s you? Because you look slightly different in my head.” Lindsay admitted skeptically. Starlight raised an eyebrow at this, she understood having memory problems but Lindsay just realized who Tyler was two episodes ago. “Do you always wear a tracksuit?” Lindsay’s voice broke her thoughts, “Oh, it doesn’t matter. Because us being in Paris means only one thing.” “I know. I love-“ Tyler began before Lindsay interrupted, “Shopping! I can pick out new clothes for you. Eeeeee!” She squealed before Chris pinched her lips shut. “There’s no time for shopping.” Chris explained, “The challenge is about to begin. Everyone inside the Loaf.” “I think you mean Louvre.” Courtney corrected. “Whatever. Go already.” Chris scoffed. We then see the inside of the Louvre with Chef wheeling in a large crate with breathing holes. "Challenge time kids. Each team gets their own famous sculpture: Team Victory gets Rodenz the Thinker, Chris is Really Really Really Really Hot gets Venus de Milo." Chris said as he handed out pictures of the statues to Lindsay and Alejandro. "Ah Venus such beauty." Alejandro smirked. "Calm down lover boy." Chris warned the Spaniard, "Team Amazon you get the Statue Of David." He then handed that picture to Heather. "Here's how it works, it's up to you guys to find the statues in the Louvre area." Chris said. "Well that shouldn't be too hard, the statues are big plus I'm a pro at reading brochure maps." Courtney smirked. “About that,” Chris said, “Chef has broken the statues into pieces and hid them, first teams to find them, race them to the pyramid court and reassemble them wins, the losing team may be sending someone home." "But the Thinker isn't located in the Louvre and the Statue Of David isn't even in France." Alejandro reminded the host. "Well we aren't using the original statues, those are priceless, Chef made some fake ones, right Chef?" Chris explained before Chef’s eyes widened and ran off, telling Starlight that these statues were indeed not fakes. ’I question how Chef will avoid getting into trouble for that, though in his defense, I got away with a lot worse.’ Starlight silently admitted to herself in her head. "I almost forgot the twist twist, here's your motivation." Chris smirked before pressing a button on the remote and soon the box opened which revealed a yeti, a bear with a chainsaw, and a baby seal. “Awwwww DJ, look. It’s that baby seal you ran over in the Yukon.” Lindsay cooed, clearly not realizing the severity of their situation as the seal growled at DJ. “I’d start running.” Chris unhelpfully commented causing Starlight to immediately gallop away from the scene with her team following close behind. After a while, Starlight and the rest of Team Amazon lost the bear and were searching for the missing pieces when Heather commented, “Come on guys, I’m not gonna let the boys beat us to the pyramid court. We have to find the rest of these things fast.” Starlight looked to see Sierra looking at some statue of two people hugging, and put a hoof on her shoulder but she immediately began crying on the floor which caused Cody to walk over warily but suddenly they heard a roar which alerted them of the bear’s presence. Starlight didn’t think twice before zapping the bear’s chainsaw to pieces. She gave it a look, daring it to try anything before it shrugged and walked off but unfortunately, Sierra’s crying was still a problem. “Cody, you got her into this mess, so you have to get her out.” Heather glared at the geek who awkwardly tried to rub her back. “Uh, there there.” Cody gulped but it did not stop the crying. “I can’t stand anymore crying, we can do this challenge without you, deal with Sierra.” Gwen grunted before walking off with Courtney and Heather. “Hey Cody, do you need some help with-“ Starlight began asking before Heather grabbed her by the tail. “Oh no, this is Cody and Sierra’s mess, not yours’.” Heather said sternly, “You’re coming with us.” Cody looked hopelessly at Starlight before Starlight mouthed ‘Sorry’ to the geek before walking off with Gwen, Courtney, and Heather. Starlight figured that helping the team with the challenge would decrease the chances of Cody or Sierra being eliminated. Once the girls were far enough away from Sierra and Cody, Gwen eventually spoke up. “Okay, so I think it’s best that we split up so we can cover more ground.” Gwen told the girls. “I agree. You two gal pals can go together and I’ll go with Starlight here.” Heather said cynically. “Why should you go with Starlight?” Gwen raised an eyebrow. “No kidding. What’s up with that?” Courtney glared in Heather’s direction. “Oh I’m sorry, do YOU want to go with her?” Heather asked pointedly, effectively shutting Courtney up. “Yeah, I thought so.” Heather rolled her eyes, “Let’s go Starlight.” “Okay,” Starlight replied uneasily before smiling at Courtney and Gwen, “Meet you two at the carpet.” Starlight then walked off with Heather while Gwen and Courtney stared on in their direction. “I don’t trust her, both of them really.” Courtney said in annoyance to Gwen. “C’mon Courtney, Starlight doesn’t seem that bad.” Gwen said in an attempt to be reassuring. “Gwen, you heard her backstory. She’s clearly demented.” Courtney glared furiously at the goth. “I’m not gonna act like what Starlight did was okay because it’s not but considering the circumstances, she was given a second chance and atoned for what happened in her world.” Gwen explained, “May I remind you, you’re literally dating an ex-convict?” “Duncan is different. He didn’t nearly cause the apocalypse.” Courtney reminded Gwen. “Well I think it says a lot about her that she didn’t.” Gwen rebutted, “I’m not saying you have to like her or anything, but maybe try going easy on her because from what I understand, she clearly needs the help she can get.” Gwen then walked off, and after a moment of hesitance, Courtney followed. Meanwhile Heather and Starlight had already collected some pieces and Starlight was doing her best to stand on her hind legs while carrying her statue pieces with her front hooves when Heather took some pieces away from her. “You don’t need to carry these, I’ll take care of it.” Heather told the unicorn. “Uh… thank you.” Starlight replied awkwardly. “Don’t mention it.” Heather smirked back before speaking up, “By the way, I kinda wanna know, why did you vote me off last episode?” Starlight was hesitant to answer, from what Leshawna told her, Heather was very untrustworthy but Heather already knew she voted her off so it’s not like it mattered. She supposed it wouldn’t hurt to give an explanation. “I heard about your actions in season one.” Starlight explained as politely as she could, “No offense Heather, but it’s not the most flattering light for you.” Heather had expected this to be the answer to be honest, one of the cast mates were bound to tell Starlight about her past eventually, but she still needed to salvage a kinship with this pony. “Look, I’ll admit I’m not the nicest person around but none of these people are saints themselves. You’ve seen how Sierra and Cody act around their crushes and Courtney is probably more devious than I am.” Heather told the pony who raised an eyebrow. “What did Courtney do?” Starlight asked curiously. ‘Got her.’ Heather secretly smirked to herself. “Back in the last season, I watched her compete in Total Drama Action when I was eliminated, and she was ruthless. She’d use her lawyers to get her out of trouble, constantly treated her boyfriend Duncan like trash, rude to everyone competing, manipulated a few people, and even tried to bargain their lives to make them split the money with her if they won, though that deal fell flat.” Heather explained neutrally. “She did all that?” Starlight widened her eyes. “Yep.” Heather nodded, “She never exactly atoned for it, more or less made an excuse that she was bluffing about the last part and was just playing the game and for some reason, no one thinks to target her.” “Wow, I didn’t know all that.” Starlight said in shock. “Well now you do.” Heather said firmly, “So think about that if we lose a challenge.” “Wait, how do I know you’re telling the truth. You could just be lying to my face.” Starlight scrutinized. “Ask Sierra, she’s seen this show more times than I can count.” Heather shrugged dismissively. Starlight just looked to the side sheepishly before continuing to follow Heather. After a while, Heather and Starlight reunited with Courtney and Gwen and had found all the pieces for their statue and were heading to the meeting point. “Let’s move it girls, those boys won’t know what hit them.” Heather said proudly before she, Courtney, and Gwen dumped their pieces at the center but unfortunately Alejandro, Noah, and Tyler had also dumped their pieces on the ground. “Hey, you got some of your Venus in our David.” Courtney said angrily. “GAH! You did that on purpose.” Heather accused furiously, which then broke out into an argument between Team Chris and Amazon which Starlight wanted no part of so she settled for getting some pieces and analyzing them to make sure they were the right ones. The rest of the contestants took the hint and began trying to assemble the pieces as well. After a few missteps in assembling the statues and DJ accidentally destroying Team Victory’s statue by crashing into it with a golf cart trying to fend off the yeti, bear, and baby seal(seriously, how did that happen?), Starlight put the final piece of The Statue Of David on the top of the statue. “There. Finished.” Starlight sighed in relief. “And Team Amazon wins the challenge.” Chris said happily as Starlight fondly watched Gwen, Courtney, and Heather high-five each other. On the downside, this meant Team Victory lost again, DJ seemed happy at the prospect since he’d get to go home but then Chris turned the vote into a walk-off since it was a two-person team. Lindsay decided to pick Tyler for her model and DJ picked Gwen, much to the goth’s displeasure. Suddenly, crying could be heard from behind Starlight and Starlight looked downcast to see Cody bring in a weeping Sierra. “I thought you were fixing her.” Courtney said angrily. “Look, I don’t know what she wants.” Cody sighed in annoyance but Sierra’s wails only got louder which made Cody furious. “Enough! Sierra, put a sock in it!” Cody cried out angrily. Starlight’s eyes widened as she gulped, this was clearly not going to end well unless she interfered so she teleported between them. “Okay.” Starlight smiled nervously before turning to Sierra, “Look, Sierra. Cody’s already apologized a million times for voting you off and he feels really bad about it. I think he’s proved that enough, so maybe you could find it in your heart to forgive him.” Sierra seemed to be contemplating this for a moment before shrugging and smiling, “Well… I guess he was pretty sorry.” “Okay,” Sierra squealed before bringing both Cody and Starlight into a hug which both were suffocating in, “I forgive you Codykins.” “Thank god…” Cody choked out as Starlight looked to see the yeti, bear, and seal clapping for them. Confessional: Starlight “Sierra’s hugs are pretty tight.” Starlight coughed before speaking, “I know Cody has every right to want to lash out at Sierra, but given the circumstances, now was not the best time.” What she wouldn’t tell the confessional is how she’s seen how arguments and lashing out can do more harm than good. She saw it with Celestia and Luna, Rarity and Rainbow Dash, even her and Trixie. Trixie Starlight wiped a stray tear from her eye, would she ever see Trixie again? Would she ever see ANY of her friends again? She wasn’t sure if there was life for her outside this game, and how long would this game even be anyway? What would happen to her then? Confessional Ends Starlight sighed as she walked out the confessional before seeing Sierra walking by. “Hey Starlight, I’m glad you’re here. I gotta tell you what happened at that fashion show. It was hilari-“ Sierra began before she saw Starlight’s tears. “Are you crying?” Sierra asked in concern. “What life do I have here?” Starlight asked forlorn. “What?” Sierra raised an eyebrow. “What life am I gonna have once the game is over. What if I’m stuck here for eternity?” Starlight sighed miserably, “I’m grateful for all of you and the rest of the cast, but as far as I know, I’m stuck in this dimension and drained of half my power. What’s gonna happen to me? I’m scared.” “You’ll always have us.” Sierra said optimistically. “What do you mean?” Starlight raised an eyebrow. “You’re part of the TD cast now silly.” Sierra explained, “You may not be human, but I doubt the cast are gonna let you die in this universe. The Total Drama cast may be a dysfunctional mess but they do have some level of care for each other. Even Heather has a heart.” “You really think so?” Starlight smiled a bit. “I’m a TD superfan, I know so.” Sierra smiled back. Starlight chuckled a bit at Sierra’s words. It was surprising how good of a friend she could be at times.
